Located in the Old House Scenery Area, this place is not accessible by the scenic area shuttle bus, and you need to charter a car to get in. It is said that this attraction was built by a local old farmer over decades, and now it has become a wonder. The old farmer also spent his own money to build a small viewing platform on it. The angle of the photo here is good, and the charge is only 2 yuan if there is no one, which is very conscientious. It is said that the scenic area now intends to buy this attraction from the old farmer. I hope the relevant authorities can handle it well and don't force it into a sale later.

Located next to the Tujia village 2,000 meters to the left of Tianzishan Reservoir, it is usually included in the Laowuchang tour line. It is more than 1,000 meters above sea level. It is located at the countryside viewing platform at an altitude of more than 600 meters. It is the best viewing point for Zhangjiajie terraces. The spectacular sea of clouds and the long terraces here are the top ten terraced landscapes of "China's Most Beautiful Countryside". When the changing sea of clouds appeared, I stood on the terrace, as if I was in the clouds, and was impressed by the uncanny workmanship of nature. When the sun gradually rose, the water vapor slowly faded, and the clouds gradually dispersed, I gradually saw the full picture of the terraces. The layers of terraces and the elegant bamboo forests and distant mountains in front of me became clearer and clearer, as beautiful as an ink painting. The Sky Garden is right next to the Shenbing Gathering. We chartered a car from Tianzishan Village and drove downhill to the road near the scenic spot. The road is high and you can overlook the Sky Garden. The popular photos of the Sky Garden on the Internet were taken on the roadside. However, you can't see the Shenbing Gathering on the roadside because it is blocked by pine trees. You need to walk down the steps and go to the observation deck to see the Shenbing Gathering. When I came to Zhangjiajie for the third time in the spring of 2019, I found that there were regular battery cars at Sanchakou that could go to the Sky Garden and the Shenbing Gathering, but they had to be during working hours. Before and after work, you can only charter a car.
Generally speaking, tour groups don't have itineraries to visit the Sky Garden, and there aren't many individual tourists, because there's nothing special about the scenery, just a heart-shaped garden on the top of the mountain. But the journey is really too far!!! The driver usually stops at the fork in the road. From there to the Sky Garden, it's about 4 kilometers of mountain road. Although the road is well-maintained, it's very tiring to go up and down! So, someone in the forest park started to do the business of picking up and dropping off with a battery car, 100 per person for a round trip, and then they kept threatening you, saying that this price is actually very cheap, and it takes several hours to walk such a long distance... We thought it was not worth it, so we walked on foot. About halfway through, we negotiated with them and gave them some money to take us there. In addition to the Sky Garden, we can also see the Bailong Ladder... We also walked back on our own... It was really too tiring. If you are not very interested in this place, you really don't need to go there!!!
Sky Garden
The Sky Garden is located next to the Tujia Village, two kilometers away from the right side of Tianzi Villa via Laohukou and Qingren Road, with an altitude of more than 1,000 meters.

I heard that this is an aerial garden built by an old man himself, which was not easy. It is still under expansion. Visitors need to pay 2 yuan to enter, which is not expensive anyway. Basically, everyone will come here to take a look after watching the sunrise. The air in the early morning is especially fresh.
On the way to Laowuchang, you can see the natural
Walk to the end of the road and go downhill on the dirt road. Pass the homestay and you can see a sign. It turns out that it is man-made and developed and maintained by Peng Qiyun. The field that was originally charged for was covered by a photo. However, the viewing platform near the scenic spot is fenced off and you can still see it if you take photos for a fee.
The Sky Farm is right next to the Tujia village in Laowuchang. Below it is a deep valley with cliffs hundreds of meters high. On top of the cliffs is a 3-hectare sloping terraced field.

It was foggy that day, and the owner of the observation deck said that the weather was about 90 points that day. The observation deck was built by a local farmer at his own expense of 130,000 yuan. However, I personally do not recommend going to this viewing platform to enjoy the scenery, because it is charged, and because there is a path on the left side of this viewing platform leading to a mountain with a lower altitude. Along this path, you can go to the other two free viewing platforms, which can be visited. The scenery is very good and the distance to the objects is still the closest.
I don’t know how to get to the Sky Garden, but I think it’s nice just looking at it from a distance.
I went there 4 years ago. It is a place that tour groups don't go to. You can walk from Dingxiangrong Village to Laowuchang Sky Garden. You can see the Bailong Sky Ladder clearly from the railing, and the colorful five-colored soil of the Sky Garden is visible up close. The clouds in the valley are surging like waterfalls, with overlapping peaks and uneven stone pillars. Some of them raise their heads to the sky as if shouting, and some bow their heads in silence as if praying. They are as quiet as virgins and motionless, like a team ready to go, ready to obey the call of heaven at any time. It is worth going, but the road is a bit far.

On the observation deck, I found that several tourists had entered the garden. I couldn't find the way to get there, but it didn't matter. This kind of scenery is best viewed from a distance. If you are there, it is no different from an ordinary field.

The photos of the Sky Garden are very impressive. It is not in the regular scenic spots, so it is usually visited by tourists who go there on their own. But there are still many people. It is very beautiful. I was surprised.
