You have to walk uphill to get to Wulongzhai from Wulongzhai Station. Then you split to the left (go straight to Yangjiazhai Cableway Station), then go down the steep slope and follow the signs. On the way to Wulongzhai, there was a sign saying that Wulongzhai Tianbo Mansion Scenic Spot was under maintenance and no access was allowed. There were a few people playing cards behind the sign. I asked if I could go up. They said it was safe to go up and I could go through Tianbo Mansion Gate. There were still some views along the way, so I went to see it. In fact, they were wrong. It was Wulongzhai Gate. In fact, we only saw the golden rooster crowing. As far as I know, Wulongzhai has been under maintenance for several years. Will this attraction still be open?
The scenic area is really big, it is impossible to see it all in one day, the ticket can be used for four days, which is very humane. I saw Zhangjiajie in cloudy and sunny days, it was very beautiful. I played for two and a half days, it is worth a visit, especially Yuanjiajie, Yangjiajie is very beautiful, Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area is average, the ticket is more than 200 per person, it can be used for four days, but the cable car from the scenic area to the top of the mountain is at your own expense, more than 150 round trip, but the inn owner helped us book a lot of discounts.
There were many bandits in Hunan during the Republic of China period. It is said that Wulongzhai was a bandit den left over from that time.
After Wulong Village, Tianbo Mansion is behind, which is super beautiful.
It is really a model of being easy to defend but difficult to attack. No wonder it was a village before. And I deeply felt the malice towards the fat man.
The original site of Wulongshan Bandit Suppression. It is the most dangerous place in Yangjiazhai Scenic Area and also a bandit village in the old society.
If you are bored of staying in your city, go to Zhangjiajie to experience the fairy tale of nature.
Compared with the more famous Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie, among the entire scenic area, Chouchou's father thinks that Wulongzhai is the most worth visiting.
A wooden pavilion is built on one side of the peak wall, forming a village gate. It became a nest for bandits in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. The village is built according to the natural terrain and is divided into three passes, each of which is dangerous. Each pass can be said to be a one-man pass against ten thousand men. The first pass is a narrow stone ladder, which is very narrow and can only accommodate one person. The second pass is a low cave. Only one person can pass by bending over. The third pass is the most dangerous and must be passed sideways. People with a slightly bigger belly can no longer pass. These three passes are also called "One Step Difficult to Walk", "Who Dares Not to Bow" and "Shrinking Valley" by tourists. After passing the three "Ghost Gates", there is still a test of a stone crack. There is a stone crack less than half a meter wide between the two mountains. It is the passage to the village on the top of the mountain. There is a vertical stone wall several meters high on the side of the road. It is the only way to the village. People cannot pass it without turning sideways.
The mysterious "Wulong Village" used to be where bandits lived, and became famous because of the movie "Wulong Mountain Bandit Suppression". After passing through these three gates of hell, you will arrive at the bandits' gathering hall, where the remnants of the bandits' den still exist, including the big bamboo baskets used by the bandits to detain the "wife of the village", daily utensils used by the bandits, and the bandit leader's chair, etc. Pay ten yuan, sit on the bandit leader's chair, shake off the majesty, and have fun.
Wulongzhai was originally called "Heilongzhai". It is a newly developed scenic spot in Yangjiajie. Currently, only 20% of Yangjiajie has been developed. Wulongzhai was originally called "Heilongzhai". It used to be a place where bandits lived. It is located in a remote area with dangerous passes. There are cliffs on all sides and only one way up and down. The terrain is dangerous. As the saying goes, one man guarding the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it.
The mountain village is the filming location of "The Story of the Bandits in Wulong Mountain". The three cartoon Tianbo Mansion has the most dangerous and narrow mountain road in the entire scenic area. Although it has been repaired, it is still worth it for friends who are keen on challenges to experience the danger of this pass.
There is no need to say much about the mountains and waters of Zhangjiajie. It feels especially great to play in the water in Jinbian Creek in summer!
This is the most worthwhile attraction I visited on my first day in Zhangjiajie. There are not many people there, the journey is difficult, it is challenging but fun, and the scenery is great. I recommend the viewing path below Tianbo Mansion, the natural curtain wall is very beautiful.
Wulong Village is actually a bandit village, so the road to the village is extremely steep and difficult to climb. It is recommended to store luggage and trekking poles before going up to the village. The narrowest road is not easy to pass with a backpack, and the trekking poles are useless and become a burden. There are people selling broken bowl wine before going up to the village. After reaching the village, there is a separate small pavilion protruding from the mountain. The scenery outside is very beautiful. The road down the village is even more difficult to walk. There is only an iron ladder less than ten centimeters wide in the steepest place. You need to lie on the ladder and hold the handrails on both sides with both hands to go down. There is also a section of the road close to the cliff. The narrowest part is less than 40 centimeters wide, and there are suspended iron steel bars below.
There are three checkpoints in Wulong Village. It used to be a bandit stronghold! To reach the top of the village, you have to walk around a big rock to the steps and then climb up! Going further is a cliff. I didn’t go forward with a big backpack! Take a photo from a distance! The top of the village is where the bandits hide their treasures!
The scenery on the mountain is OK, but there are many people and things are expensive. Bring your own dry food and water. You can only walk on the mountain, which is very tiring.
The path turns sharply to the right, and the fat man should not be able to pass through. Some of the gaps between the stones are only wide enough for one person to walk. At the back, there are stone stairs. It is said that there were no such stairs before, and the bandits used ropes to climb up. Now there are stone stairs, but they are still very shaky.
There is only one way to and from Wulong Village, which is a challenge for fat people
It can be said that the most beautiful scenery is on the dangerous peaks. If you want to have a better view of the "natural Great Wall", you must go through the steep Wulong Village. The terrain here is dangerous and easy to defend but difficult to attack. Many sections require you to lower your head or turn sideways to pass. The reason why the bandits of Wulong Village have been able to guard here for many years is also due to the steep terrain here.
In order to make it more convenient for tourists to walk, the staff of the scenic area specially widened the road and installed guardrails. However, tourists still need to be careful when walking on this winding path and enjoying the scenery.
The prototypes of the characters in the story of "Wulongshan Bandits" are here. They guarded the advantageous terrain, and it can be said that one man can block the way for ten thousand men. Now we rarely see the village here, and the small wooden houses here have become small shops for business.
It is said that entering Wulong Village is like passing through three gates of hell. Now, after passing through three natural barriers, we can see more tourists taking photos here in bandit or ethnic costumes.
If you are interested, you might as well rent a set of clothes, pretend to be a bandit or the wife of a bandit chief, and take some photos.
Before I went there, I heard that there were some dangerous roads in Wulong Village, and it was the village of bandits in the past. I was very much looking forward to it. You need to return to Wulong Village by the same route. There are shops on the road that store backpacks for two yuan each. It is recommended that you deposit them there, otherwise you will be tired after walking for more than two hours, and it will not be convenient to climb the mountain with a backpack on your back.
The road is indeed difficult to walk on, but I especially like exciting and dangerous ones, it's very exciting~
There is a circle of viewing platforms before reaching the highest point. You have to climb up and down. Some of the iron ladders are almost 90 degrees. It is not easy to walk, but it is fun.
A monkey saw someone on the top of the mountain and climbed over. He even remembered to throw the food packaging into the trash can after eating. Praise it!
You have to climb several ladders to go up and down, it's so exciting!
Wulong Village was formerly known as Jiangjia Village and Heilong Village. It is the original site of the Wulong Mountain Bandit Suppression Story. It is the most dangerous place in the Yangjiazhai Scenic Area. It is also a bandit village in the old society. To enter, you need to pass through four "ghost gates". It is a place that is easy to defend but difficult to attack.
Only after going through many dangers can you reach the viewing platform of Wulong Village. There is a pass along the way that can only allow one person to pass by leaning sideways against the cliff. Although the journey is difficult, it is a highlight of the Zhangjiajie Scenic Area and it is full of fun.
It takes about two hours to go to Wulongzhai and back. The road is very difficult and dangerous, but also very interesting and worth going.
Wulong Village, a former bandit den, is a very physically demanding place! Although it is not the peak season, there are still many sedan chair bearers because the road is too difficult to walk on and there are many steps. The narrowest part of Wulong Village is only 50 centimeters, and there is water flowing on the mountains on both sides, which are covered with moss and slippery.
Many of the guides I saw online mentioned that the road to Wulong Village is difficult and dangerous, and not suitable for children. However, after looking at the photos, I felt that it was difficult but not dangerous, and that children aged five or six could definitely challenge it. As expected, Wulong Village was the most enjoyable attraction for children due to its strong sense of participation.
The really difficult part is the part that starts from the entrance of Wulong Village and goes up. However, the sliding pole route only ends at the entrance of Wulong Village, and it is too narrow for the sliding pole to go up. The mountain road to Wulong Village is narrow, the stone steps are slightly steep, and some places are slippery. However, for children aged five or six, as long as the adults follow behind to protect them, it is no problem at all. However, the elderly or people with poor legs and feet should do it according to their ability.
When you reach the top of the mountain in Wulong Village, you don’t see any imposing buildings or bandit nests.
Wulong Village is indeed a cliff, with only one road up and down, which is narrow and steep. Because it was raining and I was carrying a backpack, I had to climb up several sections, and I had to put my backpack down in the narrow places, otherwise I would probably get stuck.
The scenic area shuttle bus is quite complete
Maybe it's because there are relatively few people.
There is basically no queue
Take the shuttle bus to Yangjiajie
All the way through the spring green branches and the mountains that gradually become clearer
Arriving at Wulongzhai Station
The mountains in the distance have emerged in the clouds
A picture of heaven on earth
I think it's worth seeing this.
The road to Wulongzhai is difficult and dangerous.
The confusing fog sometimes makes your life uncertain, and sometimes it brings you hope.
When you see the road ahead clearly, you find yourself on the cliff
It's so exciting
There is also a line of sky or something
I was so tired that I climbed up to the observation deck
I want to feel the embrace of the surrounding sandstone peaks.
But I found a thick fog and a bleak life
It's really steep. You have to use your hands and feet to get up. It's interesting to climb this mountain road. There are steps every time. It's the first time I've tried such a primitive road. It's a bit tiring. Do it according to your ability.

Many people have been to Wulingyuan, but few know about Wulong Village. In order to attract tourists, the local tourism bureau changed the name of the bandit den in the movie "Wulong Mountain Bandit Suppression". Of course, those who have seen the movie know that the place is absolutely steep and rugged, and one man can block the way for ten thousand men.
Dozens of kilometers west of Xihai, there is a mountain path with lush trees that block out the sun and few people. A few hundred meters ahead, you will enter a path in a quiet place with dense bushes and strange rocks. In the gloom, you will feel a chill. After turning a few corners, a two-story wooden house appears in the mountain, which looks exquisite. Unfortunately, the fog is too thick, so it is difficult to record it in photos.
Yangjiajie scenic spot in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area ~ It should have been the location of a bandit’s den in the past ~ The road up is quite dangerous ~ But it’s fun ~ Some people now set up photo booths in the houses after going up ~ It’s also a must-go place to Tianbo Mansion ~
It's not bad, and it's different from many other places in Zhangjiajie. There are also performances or singing inside, but they are very brief.
When I went there, someone happened to have bought a few folk songs, and the mountains were very lively with the singing of folk songs.
Wulong Village belongs to the Yangjiajie area, and it is the only way to get to Tianbo Mansion. It is still a long way from Wulong Village to Tianbo Mansion, so you can take a short break here.
It's like a fairyland, it's so beautiful that you must go.
Wulongzhai is really worth visiting. It is so exciting and fun to finally reach the destination after a difficult journey.
It is a must-go place on the way to Tianbo Mansion. You can wear the Shanzhai costumes and take photos, which is quite interesting.
Wulong Village (formerly known as Heilong Village), the original site of the Wulong Mountain Bandit Suppression Story, is located in the Yangjiajie Scenic Area. Wulong Village is surrounded by steep stone walls, and there is only a 1,000-meter-long trail in front that leads to the top of the village. There are many natural checkpoints along the trail, and some sections are less than 1 meter wide and can only accommodate one person.
Take the scenic area eco-friendly car to Wulong Village and get off. There are many people carrying sliders to attract tourists. Not far ahead, there is a small fork in the road. A road goes up to the viewing platform. Not many people actually go to Wulong Village. Tourists who follow the travel agency just stand on the viewing platform and look far away. Follow the mountain path at the fork in the road, go forward for a few hundred meters, and get into a small path in a quiet place, where strange rocks stand in a forest. The forest is lush, covering the sky and the sun, and there are few people. The road up the mountain is tortuous and narrow, and the terrain is dangerous. Wulong Village has been able to survive for many years, and it is not in vain. There is a steep stone step at the entrance, with a stone wall on one side and a cliff on the other. Going up the ladder is the first ghost gate of Wulong Village, "One Step is Difficult to Walk". The path turns sharply, and people need to stick to the cliff to pass. When you think there is no road ahead, go around the stone and drill a hole, and you will see stairs again. The road of more than 100 meters is difficult and tortuous, and people need to bend over to go up. The second gate of hell, "Who can not bow his head", is blocked here. The slope is steep and the road is narrow. The stone road passes between two huge rocks. People have to turn sideways or tighten their bodies to pass slowly. People who are too fat can't pass sideways. The tour guide told us that a fat man was stuck here. He dragged and pushed, and his clothes and skin were torn before he got out. It can be said that one man guards the pass, and ten thousand men cannot open it. "One man pass" is the third gate of hell. Through the steep and narrow stone stairs, enter the mountain village on the top of the mountain. The house is an old-fashioned civil structure with black eaves and a decadent facade. Seeing this scene, the mountain leopard or Tian Dabang immediately appeared in my mind, leaning on the chair, holding a small stick in his mouth and commanding the minions leisurely. The bandits of the past are gone, leaving only a memory. You must go to Wulong Village when you come to Zhangjiajie. Although it is a bit hard, the scenery is excellent. Although the legs hurt, it is painful and happy.
Wulongzhai was originally called "Heilongzhai". It is a newly developed scenic spot in Yangjiajie. Currently, only 20% of Yangjiajie has been developed. Wulong Village is still very unique. Although the road is difficult to walk, it is very exciting. I couldn't help but rent a set of clothes in Wulong Village and started the second-year shooting. You can see the viewing platform after walking through the village. The mountains are green and very quiet. From time to time, you can see the Monkey King jumping on the trees. In short, I think this place is more interesting than Yuanjiajie.
Yangjiajie is really worth visiting. Wulong Village, Tianbo Mansion, One Step to Heaven, and Sky Corridor satisfy your great sense of adventure by walking on the cliffs and crossing the dangerous cliffs. When you see the wonderful bamboo shoots, you will be shocked and feel like you have found a new world after a dark tunnel.
We went there early the next morning. The climb was a bit tiring, but the view after reaching the top was spectacular!

The bandit's den is fun. It's fun to crawl through caves and rocks. But is this really a bandit's den? Why are there only two small houses? It's not right.
There are too many fonts, I have written them all in the picture. Please take a look. If you are too fat, don’t try it, otherwise you will get stuck.
The road to Tianbo Mansion is very unique, and it feels like the story of the bandits in Wulong Mountain.
The largest bandit nest in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area - Yangjiajie Wulong Village, the scenic spot is too exciting
Wulong Village was once a place where bandits lived. It is located in a remote area with a dangerous pass. There are cliffs on all sides and only one way up and down. The terrain is dangerous. As the saying goes, one man guards the pass and ten thousand men cannot open it. Friends who like mountain hiking, thrills and challenges must go there.
Wulongzhai is a must-visit place in Yangjiajie Scenic Area. It is said that it used to be a bandit's den. The terrain here is indeed dangerous, and the road up is narrow and steep, which is not suitable for elderly and weak tourists, but the scenery is quite good.

A must-go place in Yangjiajie, worth a visit
Wulongzhai Valley is one of the most dangerous places. It is very similar to the scene in the movie "Wulongshan Bandits". Fatty, take a detour as soon as possible because you will definitely not be able to get through.
It is a must-go place leading to Yangjiajie. It is a good spot where you can take photos.
Formerly known as Black Dragon Village, it is the original site of the Wulong Mountain Bandit Suppression Story and is the most dangerous place in the Yangjiazhai Scenic Area.
It is very famous and the story of the Wulong Mountain Bandits seems to be about this place. In fact, it is just a small house with an average view.
The road to Wulongzhai is very steep, and it is a bit difficult for the fat man.
It was already past five in the afternoon when we went to Wulong Village, and it was beginning to get dark, so I felt that the scenery along the way was average. The only fun part was the mountain climbing. However, compared to Step to Heaven, it was a little easier, so it is still worth a visit if you have time.
I've heard about the story of the bandit suppression in Wulong Mountain. When I passed by here, I was exhausted. The locals joked that I should stay and become the wife of the bandit leader. Haha~
The road to the village is particularly dangerous, but it is worth a visit, so the highlight of this attraction is the mountain climbing route.
It is still a relatively interesting scenic spot. There are three major gates that you can go for a walk, especially the One Line Sky, which can only allow one person to pass. Don’t ever think about turning back here, it is impossible. Moreover, the mountain scenery you can see from this spot is completely different from other attractions. It is not a columnar mountain, but a stone-like mountain like pieces of paper. It is really the first time I have seen it in my life. I have to sigh that the way nature creates things is really indescribable.
Wulong Village is the most breathtaking place in Zhangjiajie Forest Park. I personally think it is a must-see. Because it was raining that day, I planned to just find a random way down the mountain, but people who came back from Wulong Village praised it as worth a visit, so I went there. The road to the village is very narrow, steep, dangerous and strenuous. When we went down the village, it was also very steep and difficult. We had to hold on to the wall with both hands and didn't even have time to hold an umbrella. Later, we went to a viewing platform and found that the fog was slowly fading away, and the mountains were looming, which was beautiful.
The scenery is beautiful and the mountain path is steep. It is worth the climb.
Wulong Village is a classic in the forest park. It is a very small village without any particularly outstanding features. It is just a must-go place on the way to Tianbo Mansion.
A great place, a must-go for self-guided tours!! The road is narrow and the scenery is nice. It takes about 1 to 2 hours. After playing in Yuanjiajie, you can take a bus to the Yangjiajie Cableway Station and walk down the mountain a little bit to get there.
Wulongzhai is still a place worth visiting.
Not bad, the one-line sky is quite interesting, nothing else for now
The bandits are very smart to be able to find such a dangerous place to take shelter in the mountains, but they may also be helpless.
When we were going down the mountain, we were still lamenting that being a bandit was not easy. We might have to take a physical test first and only be able to join the gang if we met the standards.
Wulong Village was originally named "Heilong Village". In order to attract tourists' attention, it was renamed according to the name of the bandit's lair in the movie "Wulong Mountain Bandits".
It used to be a place where bandits lived. It was located in a remote area with dangerous passes and cliffs on all sides.
To reach the top of Wulong Village, one must pass through three gates of hell: "One step is difficult to take", "Who can resist bowing his head", and "One man guarding the gate, ten thousand men cannot open it".
Wulong Village is the final road to Tianbo Mansion, a very peculiar place. Some parts are very narrow and only allow one person to pass through without turning sideways. The road is also quite steep, so the elderly and children need to be careful when going there.
We took part in the Zhangjiajie Wuer Self-Guided Tour, which was great. If you have friends who have been there, you can search on Baidu.
The mountain road is steep and the terrain is dangerous, but it is worth the trip.
Because I took two elderly people to Zhangjiajie, many places were inconvenient to go, which was a little regretful. The road to Wulong Village is not very easy to walk, and it is best for the elderly not to go up. Wulong Village is smaller than expected. There is a fee to enter the marked area to take pictures here, (⊙﹏⊙)b
Like Tianbo Mansion, I don't know where to tell that this is Wulong Village, but the scenery along the way is still good.
Wulong Village is really suitable for bandits to live in. It is easy to defend and difficult to attack. It is extremely dangerous! There are many winding roads on the mountain. You can't see what's above from the bottom. You have to turn around and pass through very narrow paths and steps to reach Pingtan Village.
It is a very beautiful scenic spot with unique features. You stand in front of it and appreciate it quietly, and there is a kind of beauty that comes from the heart.
The people of Xiangxi are tough and have been plagued by bandits for a long time. Wulong Village was indeed a real bandit stronghold. The terrain is steep and easy to defend but difficult to attack. There are many sedan chair bearers along the road soliciting passengers, and many elderly people ride sedan chairs up the mountain. To be honest, the mountain road is so steep that I dare not sit even if you dare to carry it.
The mountain road to Wulong Village is narrow and steep. In some places, you have to bend down or turn sideways to pass. When you reach a fork in the road, there is a cliff path with railings on the left, and a narrow and steep stone steps on the right. Both roads can lead to Wulong Village, but it is easier to go up the mountain than to go down. It is recommended to take the stone steps to Wulong Village, and it is safer to take the cliff path on the way back. When we went there, we only looked down at the road. After walking through all kinds of steep mountain roads where "one man guards the pass, ten thousand men cannot open it", when we arrived at Wulong Village and looked out, we really had a feeling of openness, surrounded by mountains and vast sea of peaks.
