If I hadn't continued walking down to see the Grand Canyon, I would have been very disappointed with the glass bridge I saw. It wasn't exciting enough (but I still took a lot of photos on it 😄). You could also take a boat ride (included in the ticket price) and a zip line (another 30¥).

Although many places now have it, they are all modeled after Zhangjiajie. It feels very good. I went there on a Saturday afternoon and there were many people. I didn't feel much when taking pictures on a few pieces of glass, but I think the canyons on both sides of the glass bridge are beautiful. Because it was my first time to experience the glass bridge, it felt quite fresh. I think it's enough to experience the 148 glass bridge. There is no need to experience the Grand Canyon. Just visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Also, the bus in Wulingyuan does not go directly to the Grand Canyon. It only goes to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. You have to climb 5km. You can only take the bus and then take a black car to go up. There is no way back. It cost 60 yuan for transportation back and forth, which is a bit of a rip-off.

You can't bring thermoses, glasses, and SLR cameras up here. There is a special place to store them for 5 yuan per day, but you have to go down the mountain and take a free bus back up to pick them up, and then take another free bus down. In fact, you can store them at a restaurant at the foot of the mountain. The solicitation at the door says 20 yuan per item. I didn't dare to store such expensive things there at the time.

In the past, there were tickets for the glass bridge alone, but now you have to take the Grand Canyon + Glass Bridge. There are no discounts from any major ticket agents. It’s 219 per person for adults, and you can buy senior citizen tickets through the WeChat public account.

We didn't take the elevator down for the last section, but chose to slide. There was no discount for the elderly, so we scanned the code and paid 30/person on the spot. It was quite fun and suitable for taking the elderly, just like sliding down a slide.

It feels like there are a lot of unspoken rules after the epidemic. The upper elevator is free, the middle one is 30 yuan, and the slide is 30 yuan, so one person will have to pay 60 yuan more. If you don't take the elevator, you will have to walk a lot.

There were bulldozers digging in the Grand Canyon that day, and the water we saw was not clear, but yellowish. The scenery was greatly reduced, but the glass bridge was still okay.

There weren't a lot of people when we were playing, and the queue was quite orderly. It took about 40 minutes to queue up to get in. We didn't queue in one place, but passed through security checks one after another. The scenery was beautiful, and the facilities were quite complete. I took the elderly there and they didn't say they were particularly tired.

Please note that the tickets are divided into time periods. You must go there during the specified time period. If you go too early or too late, you can't get in.

Maybe I had too high expectations before coming here, so I felt a little disappointed when I saw so many people. After all, I came all the way here.

The glass bridge is not as exciting as I imagined. It may be because the glass does not look clear enough, or it may be because there are so many trees under the bridge that it does not look very high visually.

I arrived at the visitor center at 7:00, but it was not open yet. Some of them were illegal taxi drivers, and they sent us to the entrance of the scenic area for 20 yuan each. I was wondering, your scenic area stipulates that you can enter the scenic area at 6:30, why don't you arrange the shuttle bus at this time? Excuse me, if tourists miss the entrance time from 6:30 to 9:59, they will lose the opportunity to enter and the ticket of 250 or 260 yuan. If this is a contract, your scenic area has seriously breached the contract. At least the shuttle bus didn't start at 7:30, so we had to take the bus and bought 40 yuan in vain! Zhangjiajie Scenic Area is a forced sale! To be practical, the glass bridge is very beautiful. The ticket price is really not cheap, and the whole scenic area is only 100 yuan. Many people come here because of its reputation, including us. The Grand Canyon tour is very simple, and you won't go wrong on one road from beginning to end. The only thing to note is that when you go to the scenic area, don't drive to the ticket window, just stop at the visitor center. Otherwise, you will be in trouble.

After two hours, we can return to the tourist center. Let's go! We have to go back to Zhangjiajie City and wait for the Tianmen Mountain tour tomorrow. Coincidentally, Baidu Navigation made a mistake again. We should have taken the highway. Somehow, we ended up at Huanglong Cave. It was right on the roadside. We stopped the car and went in to take a look. This is the advantage of self-driving tours. We can go whenever we want.

I went there on a rainy day, so it wasn't that exciting. The environment of the scenic spot was good and it was worth visiting.

It is a worthwhile attraction. The bridge itself is very beautiful, and the scenery of the canyon is also beautiful, which is the characteristic scenery of Zhangjiajie. The transportation is also very convenient. After visiting the glass bridge, walk down the mountain to the Grand Canyon Scenic Area and take a boat in the canyon. 5. After coming down from the glass sky bridge, it takes nearly 2 hours of plank road to reach the boat boarding area and the exit of the scenic area.

The glass bridge is still quite spectacular, but it is too short. The selling point of the Grand Canyon is the glass bridge. After arriving at the glass bridge, you have to wear shoe covers before you can go up the bridge. In order to control the passenger flow, we implement three routes, ABC, and we choose route B. Cili County mountainous area, advice:

1. Don't go if you are traveling alone. The transportation is inconvenient. There is only a minibus from Wulingyuan, and there are no buses after 5:30 pm.

2. Don't go if you are in a hurry, the road is all mountainous and prone to traffic jams. You have to queue up 4 times from the entrance to the bridge, starting at 40 minutes in the off-season and 2 hours in the peak season.

3. Don't go in the afternoon. It will be 5 o'clock when you line up to get in. The sun has set, the light is dim, the glass is reflective, and there are shadows everywhere, so the photo effect is poor.

4. Photography enthusiasts should not go there. SLR cameras are not allowed in and need to be stored. You can just use your cell phone to take pictures.

5. Don’t go if you have booked your ticket out of date. You need to find the scenic spot manager, the travel agency that booked the ticket, the order source code... It will take at least half an hour to reschedule.

*If you have any of the above conditions, I advise you not to go. The scenery and surprises are not enough, not to mention whether the bridge ticket fee of 141 yuan (official website price) is too high.
