Deep in the forests of Greater Khingan Range is a small town that mainly engages in hunting and reindeer herding. This is Aoluguya Ewenki National Township.
Almost every household here raises reindeer. In winter, when walking in the streets of the town, you can often see reindeer pulling sleds passing by.
The reindeers in Aoluguya are very docile. Visitors can have close contact with them, feed them, touch them and take photos with them.
People who love photography can spend half a day here, because there are beautiful scenery everywhere, and any scenery you put in the camera can be a masterpiece.
When you come here in winter, you must keep warm and wear goggles or sunglasses to protect your eyes. Also bring a compass, walkie-talkie and other equipment just in case.

The Aoluguya Reindeer Museum is not big. It shows the primitive life of the Ewenki people. There are many pictures and objects. Because I have read the novel "The Right Bank of the Ergun River" before, I am very interested in the Ewenki culture and I read it with great interest. Many things mentioned in the novel are displayed here, such as Xianrenzhu, Wulileng, Kaolaobao, Jiawu, Malu God, Shaman, etc. I suggest that you read this novel that won the Mao Dun Literature Award before you go. The Ewenki people are the only tribe in China that uses reindeer. More than 400 years ago, they came from the Taiga Highlands in the upper reaches of the Lena River in Siberia. Their reindeer culture, hunting culture, birch bark culture, animal skin culture and shamanism culture extended the Arctic culture to the Xing'an Mountains in China. "Ewenki" means "people walking down the mountain". Today, there are 6 hunting points north of Genhe and south of Mohe. The Budongxia tribe settled in Aoluguya Township in the suburbs of Genhe. Some people raise reindeer in the mountains. Everyone usually lives here and goes back when there is something. They make a living by running family hotels and selling reindeer products. Due to the continuous decline in population, they have long started to intermarry with other ethnic groups. There are very few pure Ewenki people left. Moreover, since there is no written language, although the older generation of Ewenki people can still speak Ewenki, their daily communication language is basically Chinese, and they speak it very fluently. Later, I saw many photos of Ewenki people in the museum in Aoluguya. I felt that their appearance still has certain characteristics. They are short, have flat and round faces, and have high cheekbones. This may also be due to long-term reproduction within the ethnic group. This brother Xiao doesn't look like an Ewenki at all. He is very tall and upright, with a ruddy complexion, wearing a camouflage uniform, and speaking fluent Northeastern dialect.
Friendly reminder: You can interact closely with the deer for only 10 yuan!
The Aoluguya reindeer herding tribe was built after 2003, following the overall ecological relocation of Ao Township. It is divided into two parts: the modern living area and the original ecological living area. The Aoluguya reindeer herding tribe is famous for hunting. The unique folk culture of the Aoluguya reindeer herding tribe has become an important means for hunters to get rich, and has become a special "cultural business card" for the local area. The reindeer park displays the primitive lifestyle of the last reindeer herding tribe in China, and is a living fossil of the history and culture of the nomadic peoples in northern China.
The Ewenki people live in Aoluguya. They are a "hunting nation" in the dense forests of the Greater Khingan Range. They have lived on hunting and reindeer breeding for generations. They have about 1,200 reindeer in the mountains, most of which are semi-wild. They are the only reindeer population in China and the most extreme habitat in the world. In winter, only a few captive reindeer can be seen.
Aoluguya is the transliteration of the Ewenki language, meaning "a place with lush poplar forests."
Aoluguya, just hearing the name is mysterious enough and enough to attract me to walk into it.
Deep in the Greater Khingan Range is a scenic area surrounded by dense primeval forests. Here, an ancient hunting culture is prevalent. From ancient times to the present, the Ewenki people still follow the oldest and most simple way of life. They are a minority group that makes a living by raising reindeer. For hundreds of years, the Ewenki people wandering in the vast birch forest on the right bank of the Ergun River and reindeer have been interdependent. This is the last hunting tribe in China, and it can also be said to be the hometown of reindeer.
Feeding reindeer is a great pleasure in Aoluguya. Because reindeer feed on mosses growing in the primeval forest, there are mosses for sale in the scenic area, 10 yuan per basket. Carrying a basket, these cute little guys will follow you all the time, and you can get close to this rare animal. Although they are gentle, don't touch the antlers to avoid being attacked and hurting yourself.
In my country, reindeers only appear in the Greater Khingan Range. They are good at crossing forests and swamps. A copper bell is tied around the neck of each reindeer, so that it is easier to find them in the forest by following the sound of the bell. According to legend, every Christmas, Santa Claus will drive a sleigh pulled by reindeer and filled with gifts to bring happiness to children. This does sound like a fairy tale, but I would rather believe that it is all true, because the reindeer in the fairy tale book is right in front of me.
The Aoluguya reindeer tribe is a nation with a long history. Reindeer cannot live without forests, and the Ewenki people cannot live without forests. Forests are everything for this nation to survive, but the memory and culture of a nation can only be passed on through generations, and the Ewenki people have done it. Through the primitive, simple and mysterious tribal people, we can feel the national culture that the Ewenki people have guarded in the mountains for thousands of years, and feel the pure natural lifestyle. Their nation has condensed the distant history to today. This is a collision and crossing of the ancient and the modern.
Aoluguya is a place with ethnic characteristics. Returning to nature makes even breathing very comfortable. There are reindeers, sika deer, and silly roe deer here. The feeling of playing in Hulunbuir is comfortable, free and unrestrained. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, I recommend everyone to come here to breathe the natural oxygen bar and let yourself go.
Deep in the Greater Khingan Range lives a minority ethnic group called the Ewenki. The Ewenki are a hunting ethnic group in the Greater Khingan Range. Hundreds of years ago, they migrated from the shores of Lake Baikal. Reindeer are their main means of transportation and the main focus of their lives. They use birch bark to build traditional dwellings called "Culuozi" and migrate nomadically.
There is a reindeer tribe scenic spot in Genhe, with many free-range reindeers. You can walk along the plank road in the forest and have close contact with the "four-unlike" reindeers. Girls can also buy a basket of moss to feed the reindeers and take photos with them. However, from the discarded moss on the ground, it can be seen that the reindeers here are not short of food. They are picky and do not eat wet moss. It is recommended to come early in the morning. If you come late, the reindeers will be full and will not pay attention to you even if you feed them.
The reindeer park is located in the deepest part of the Aoluguya tribe. In a birch forest, there are more than 20 elves standing quietly. These reindeer only eat lichens and mosses. Tourists can spend 20 yuan to buy a small basket for feeding. The reindeer are docile in nature, and it is okay to rub their necks for photos, but remember not to touch their big horns.
There are more than 20 reindeer in the scenic area, and tourists can have close contact with them, feed, touch and take pictures with them personally.
I didn't expect there were so few reindeer in the park. If there is a next time, I should go to the more primitive Ewenki National Township to see reindeer.
Here is an introduction to a place in Aoluguya Ewenki National Township, where some reindeer are raised. The elder brother likes to feed the reindeer, but the younger brother is a little afraid. The younger brother was stung by a bee when feeding the reindeer, so everyone should also pay attention to the bees when feeding the reindeer.
Children should like to go there. Buy moss to feed reindeer. It costs 10 yuan for a big basket. I bought 20 yuan but couldn't feed them all. They were full. There were a lot of mosquitoes. After feeding the reindeer, I went back to buy deer milk biscuits. They were sweet and delicious. I wanted the original flavor. Why did I buy them after feeding the reindeer? Because the deer would grab the biscuits.
In addition to the wetlands, another main purpose of coming to Genhe is to visit the reindeer park. Because I was traveling with children, I recommended the reindeer park as the highlight of the itinerary when I was recruiting travel companions. There are two reindeer parks in Genhe. The more famous one is the Aoluguya reindeer tribe we visited, and the other is the Xing'an reindeer park, near the town of Deerbur. Relatively speaking, the Aoluguya scenic area is larger, with more content and more tourists, but the tickets are sold in bundles, and you have to visit it together with the museum. Our driver managed to buy a separate reindeer park ticket, 30 yuan per person, which is about the same as the Xing'an reindeer park.
The reindeer park is really popular with children. Not only can they get close to reindeer, but they can also see roe deer and hares. There are also amusement facilities such as wooden rotating seesaws in the park. Children don’t want to leave after having fun. Grilled naan and grilled venison kebabs are also very popular.
The scenic area is not big. There are about 10 reindeers. Most of them are free-roaming and very docile. You can buy moss (10) yuan a basket to feed the reindeers. You can also take pictures with the reindeers eating grass (don't grab the reindeer's horns). You can also see wild squirrels and farmed rabbits. The environment and air of the scenic area are good. It is also a very good choice to bring children.
There are a lot of reindeer, squirrels are very cute and not afraid of people, and there are also a few silly roe deer
Here is China's only reindeer herding tribe and China's last hunting nation; here is China's ethnic minority village and the hometown of birch bark ethnic culture and art; here is a memory like water that questions thousands of years of history and touches the ancient and modern rhymes; here is a soft mood to temporarily leave the complicated world, indulge the soul, and let the imagination run wild; here is a beautiful collision of harmony between man and nature, capturing the breath of nature. Aoluguya, opening it is equivalent to opening a dream fairy tale.
The greater the expectations, the greater the disappointment.
At the entrance of the scenic spot, there is an old man collecting tickets, 30 yuan per person. I went there in winter, and there were only three reindeer in captivity, with pink ribbons on their heads, which looked very ugly. I didn't even want to take pictures.
The gatekeeper told us that these were the reindeers kept in the wire fence. After repeated inquiries, we learned that the boss actually raised more than 300 reindeer, but they were all in the mountains more than 100 kilometers away. There were only these few in winter, and there would be more in summer, about a dozen.
Heartbroken. What's the difference between seeing the animals kept in cages and going to a zoo? It's all my fault for being too naive and imagining things too well. I thought I would see reindeer walking around in the park...
There are many reindeers in Genhe Aoluguya. You need to pay a ticket to enter, 30 RMB per person, but it is worth it! There are some entertainment facilities inside, such as swings, seesaws, etc. Inside are reindeers! In order to drive away mosquitoes, the manager lit a lot of cigarettes here, which was a bit choking!
There were so many tourists that it was hard to take a photo with the deer alone!
After entering, you can feed these reindeer. You can buy a basket of moss for 10 yuan. I also saw some people picking leaves directly from the trees to feed them.
Visit the Aoluguya reindeer herding tribe - Reindeer Park, look for reindeer, and feed reindeer
There are wild deer and a lot of silly roe deer inside. You can buy food and grass to feed them for a better experience.
To be honest, I was quite touched after I went there. It was too commercialized, and they called it half-farmed and half-wild. There were too many tour groups, and they pulled in cars after cars. Tourists carried mosses worth 10 yuan each. The staff kept emphasizing: Don’t touch the antlers and velvet antlers! Don’t touch the antlers and velvet antlers! No one listened! I saw many people taking photos with velvet antlers. There are many rabbits in the park.
Although the attraction is relatively small and there are only two reindeers that can be touched, it was still very exciting to see reindeer for the first time. I took a lot of photos and was generally satisfied.
The most attractive place here is the several elks in the park, which are very popular among the girls. However, the elks in the park were not very energetic in the afternoon.
Today we went to the coldest place in China. The coldest temperature in winter is -58 degrees. When we woke up in the morning, our water pipes were frozen. We went there today and saw the thermometer showed -11 degrees. We went to see the reindeer tribe. The deer didn't look docile. They attacked the tourists. (Pay attention, the instructor said tens of thousands of times not to touch their antlers!!) I don't know if it was because we brought moss, the deer were willing to follow us, and they also took the initiative to rub their faces against us so that we could touch their antlers.
Genhe Aoluguya Shilu Tribe ~ Here you can learn about the living environment of the Ewenki people in the north ~ You can also understand why they came out of the mountains ~
There are many reindeers, squirrels, robes, rabbits in the park, and the houses where they used to live can be visited and experienced. The experience is quite strong, and some small animals can be touched at close range.
Reindeer are worth seeing, they are rare protected animals in the world, so cute
The mysterious Aolu quietly blossomed in the cradle of northern nomadic peoples, the original reindeer park, and the starting point of Santa Claus - Aolu! For thousands of years, Aoluguya has always been quietly hidden in the Greater Khingan Range. As time passes through its mountain gate, it still keeps its simplicity... Here is China's only reindeer tribe and China's last hunting nation; here is China's ethnic minority village, the hometown of birch bark ethnic culture and art;
Aoluguya, the ticket price is 80, which is quite a rip-off.
There were only a few reindeer and a few caged roe deer.
Play time: 1 hour.
The people here are called reindeer, Santa Claus' mounts, and they are very docile. My daughter is braver than I thought. There are many children in the park who dare not approach reindeer. Well done, girl!
Reindeer, like the deer in Nara, are free-range. You feed them the feed sold in the scenic area and they will follow you obediently. The deer's eyes are really beautiful, and their eyelashes are very long!
The 80 yuan ticket is not worth it.
Suitable for girls to take pictures
Although it is a scenic spot, you can rarely see traces of artificial carving here. The original ecological feeling makes people find no trace of boredom and vulgarity. Reindeers are not bound by chains and are scattered leisurely in the forest. You can buy a pot of moss to reward them. It is also Santa Claus's mount. They are very docile and not afraid of people. You can touch their fur and feel their body temperature. This is the best embodiment of the harmony of nature. Not only are the reindeers not afraid of people, but even the birds flying in the sky are more willing to get close to people.
The ticket cost 30 yuan, and we spent more than an hour here. This is a testimony to the harmonious coexistence with nature. Here we all found the aftertaste of childhood, the forest seesaw, and feeding reindeer together, it was so much fun.
As soon as I entered the reindeer park, I heard people laughing and screaming from afar. Wow, those reindeers that are almost as tall as humans are the masters of this world. If you want to get close to them or take photos with them, you have to feed them some food. The reindeer park charges 30 yuan. After entering the park, if you want to have a close contact with the reindeer, you can buy the "dry food" provided by the park or bring some snacks to feed the reindeer, but pay attention to safety during the feeding process. In addition, you can also go to the back mountain of the reindeer park, and you may encounter elk.
Bring some snacks with you, and the reindeer will follow you from a distance. Give it the snacks and it will be as obedient as a child who has just received the snacks. You can get close to it and reach out to touch its antlers.
If you don't want to take pictures, the 80 yuan ticket is a bit of a loss. Just take a look at Santa Claus's mount.
A place where reindeer are raised. It's not big. Not bad. You can definitely come and visit the reindeer when you come to Hulunbuir.
The reindeer are free-range like the deer in Nara. You can feed them the feed sold in the scenic area and they will follow you obediently. The deer's eyes are really beautiful, and their eyelashes are very long!
That day was the first time I saw a roe deer. Before seeing it, I always thought that the roe deer was the same thing as the alpaca... But just like the rumors, the roe deer is really timid and will run away as soon as you approach it.

Highlights: docile reindeer herds, Ewenki culture Tour duration 1-2 hours Ticket price 80 yuan
If you have read the novel "The Right Bank of the Ergun River" and are interested in Ewenki culture, you must not miss the museum next to the reindeer park. The driver said that most people don't go to the museum, but we are all very interested in this culture, so we insisted on going to see it, so the driver accompanied us. Let me recommend him, Zhang Pengge phone & WeChat I5O 4BO 5зI5B. And now the museum and the reindeer park are sold as a package ticket.
The Aoluguya reindeer tribe is famous for hunting. It is home to the Ewenki people. It is the only reindeer tribe in China and the last hunting nation in China. The reindeers are not bound by chains and are scattered leisurely in the forest. You can stroke their fur and feed them, but be careful not to touch their horns. They seem to be very uncomfortable when touched and they have to rub against the ground. The reindeer in the picture is wearing black stockings and white sneakers hahaha
PS Leba is really delicious. It is made from deer milk and is full of milky aroma!
When you enter the reindeer park, you can buy moss for ten yuan to feed the reindeer. As soon as you appear with a basket, the reindeer will follow you.
You take a handful of moss and put it on your palm, and put it near the reindeer's mouth for him to eat. Don't worry that it will bite you. You will just feel its upper and lower lips opening and closing constantly, making your palm itchy.
If you are lucky, the reindeer happens to pose for a photo with you, and there are not many tourists around, then you can take a photo with the reindeer in a domineering manner.
Having said so much, I just want to tell you that this place is suitable for parents and children to come and see reindeer.
The ancient nation and ancient traditions are gradually being replaced by modernization.
Reindeer are animals that have survived the Ice Age and have great perseverance. If you go deep into the Greater Khingan Range, you must not miss the opportunity to get close to these creatures. Although there are reindeers in the zoo, it is still worth getting in touch with this kind of semi-wild herd of reindeers in a natural environment.
Walking into the forest, I saw the seesaw, and my sister and I couldn't help but play with it. We walked along the plank road and looked for the place where reindeer were grazing. Finally, we found the reindeer and were able to get close to them.
The deer seemed to be used to people watching them. They looked relaxed and at ease, and didn't avoid being touched. They were so cute.
Reindeer like to eat moss, so we bought some and tried to feed it.
The forest atmosphere is still relatively good here, and after watching the deer, we took a stroll in the depths of the forest for a while.
The reindeer park is at the end of the entire park. You can buy a bamboo basket of reindeer moss for 10 yuan, and the reindeer will come naturally. At first, I was frightened by the enthusiasm of the reindeer, but later I gradually dared to touch the reindeer's antlers and heads, and fell in love with this group of "big-headed animals"
Deer antlers actually fall off naturally and are extremely precious medicinal materials.
There are many local people in the park selling their ethnic specialties. Hunting for a living naturally requires animal fur and teeth.
The entire park is not large and can be visited in two hours.
A must-visit place for traveling to Hulunbuir. I personally think it is better to see reindeer in winter, because although it is cold in winter, the reindeer's fur is thicker and more beautiful. In summer, their fur has fallen off, and mosquitoes are always spinning and jumping around them. So they are very impatient to take pictures because of the harassment.
Reindeer have become an important tool for the Ewenki people to develop tourism, supporting their lives in another way. Now reindeer have become models for tourists to take photos, and reindeer people have surrendered their hunting rifles. The ancient hunting tradition is slowly disappearing.
The reindeer were so cute. We bought some moss, which they loved to eat. They kept chasing us. They followed us wherever we went and followed whoever had food in their hands.
The Aoluguya reindeer herding tribe is the last hunting tribe in China. The children fed moss to the reindeers and grass to the silly roe deer without horns, and were reluctant to leave for a long time.
Unexpectedly, it snowed on the last day. Fortunately, the weather did not get worse when we were going to Aoluguya to see reindeer. Although it was not sunny, the tribe on a snowy day was a different scene. In the reindeer tribe, we also saw silly roe deer! Reindeer really look like a species in fairy tales. The golden autumn forest, the snowy scene, and standing in the distance of reindeer in a red dress, it was really like a dream...
There were really crowds of people. The reindeer park was the place with the most people during the entire trip. Beside each reindeer, there was a group of children carrying moss and putting it into the reindeer's mouth while calling it "four-legged beast".
The ticket to the reindeer park is 30 yuan per person. In addition to reindeer, there are also roe deer. Apart from the crowds of people, it is still a good place to visit. If you wait patiently and are lucky, you can also see little squirrels that are very good at eating melon seeds. It would be more suitable to come here in autumn and winter.
The entrance fee to the reindeer park is 30 yuan. I can see Santa Claus's mounts, which I usually only see on TV. This time, I can see them up close. Each reindeer has beautiful horns on its head, which are very furry. The driver told us that the horns will be cut off in a few days and sold as velvet antlers. Sometimes we humans are too cruel for our own benefit.
Here you can see the life of the reindeer tribe, the pointed tents, deer milk and deer milk products, and sometimes you can see live roasting. The most attractive thing is of course the reindeer, most of them are relatively docile, as long as you hold the moss, they will follow you, sometimes if you are not careful, a few deer heads will stick into the basket, which is interesting.
The Ewenki people have found a way to adapt to the climate, food, temperature and humidity of the Greater Khingan Range, allowing the reindeer to survive far away from the Arctic tundra. I thought they were very delicate creatures, but I didn't expect them to be so gentle and so close to me. I fed them ten buckets of moss in a row and couldn't stop. After feeding them ten buckets of moss, the reindeer were no longer afraid of strangers. They became brothers with me.
You would never imagine that this ancient and mysterious animal is Santa Claus’ favorite pet!
The reindeers are very cute. I learned about the local culture. I have a friend who is from this ethnic group, but I didn't remember what the ethnic group was called until I came here, haha.
Having been to Hulunbuir in spring, summer, autumn and winter, and meeting reindeers in spring, summer, autumn and winter, I recommend winter the most, when the sky and earth are white and pure. In the sunny afternoon, even if the temperature is minus 30 or 40 degrees, it doesn't feel that cold.
A primitive small forest with Santa Claus's reindeer, roe deer, and roe deer, combined with the winter snow, is like a beautiful fairy tale world.
A must-see attraction when traveling around Hulunbuir. There is nothing else to see in the scenic area, but the reindeer are really cute and tame.
The Aoluguya Ewenki hunters in Genhe City, Inner Mongolia, are the only ethnic group in Asia that still uses reindeer and hunting as their main way of life. They are distributed in China and Russia. Aoluguya is a small tribe of the Ewenki people. They are the only reindeer-raising tribe in China, and the only ethnic group that has directly transitioned from primitive society to socialist society. They are known as the last hunting tribe in China. The Aoluguya Ewenki Township is located on the banks of the Aoluguya River in the northernmost part of Genhe City, Hulunbuir. "Aoluguya" means "a place with lush poplar forests" in the Ewenki language, and "Ewenki" means "people living in the mountains and forests" in the Ewenki language. Before liberation, they were still in the stage of clan communes at the end of the primitive commune. They lived in deep mountains and dense forests all year round, wearing animal skins, eating animal meat, and living in "tuluozi", and were less affected by the outside world.
Here people and nature live in harmony, birds will take the initiative to eat the seeds in your hand, and reindeer are also very docile and humane. Sit quietly while I take pictures
The name "Ewenki" comes from the Ewenki language, which means "people in the mountains and forests". More than 300 years ago, the ancestors of the Aoluguya Ewenki people migrated from the Lena River Basin to the Ergun River Basin, and also brought reindeer to the Greater Khingan Range. These reindeer have become the only reindeer herd in contemporary China. The Aoluguya reindeer herding tribe has always relied on reindeer grazing in the deep mountains of the Greater Khingan Range as its main source of income, and is also the only ethnic group in my country that raises reindeer so far.
The ticket price for the reindeer park is 25 yuan. In the park, you can see energetic male deer fighting fiercely. I was worried that their intricate antlers would get stuck in each other's way and twist their necks. The administrator said it was no problem, there was a deer to take care of them. Historically, the Aoluguya reindeer herding tribe was famous for hunting. But now, the unique folk culture of the reindeer herding tribe has become an important means for hunters to get rich, and it is also a special "cultural business card" for the local area. You can pick a docile one and stroke it as much as you want, and it will be tickled obediently. They are both deer, but I really feel that they are much more simple and docile than those arrogant sika deer in Nara. I didn't even prepare any "bribes" of deer senbei, and the reindeers are still "approachable"
There are also roe deer next to the reindeer park, which are called "silly roe deer" by people in Northeast China. They are very timid and hide in the corners. The activity area of roe deer is not open to the public, so you can only peek through the gaps in the fence.
There were some reindeer products for sale at the ticket office, but I didn't even ask the price. Women coming here don't focus on shopping at all.
Aoluguya is an ancient branch of the Ewenki ethnic group, the last hunting tribe. The 90-year-old chief Maria Suo is also the last chief of the tribe. Reindeer are the symbol of this ethnic group and also the life partner of this ethnic group. When you come to Hulunbuir, you must go to Aoluguya to get close to the gentle and cute reindeer. Take a look at the reindeer I took 😄
In addition to the entrance fee, you can take pictures of the reindeer at will, there is no additional fee
Friends who are traveling with children should try not to get too close to avoid being pricked by the antlers!
Originally, the Ewenki did not live in the tribe, but hunted in the mountains. Later, the government moved them here to develop tourism to help them increase their income. If you don't know some history and just visit the attractions, you will probably feel like visiting a zoo. We had a good time. You can buy fresh moss to feed the elk or buy melon seeds to feed the birds. The price is not cheap, but it is not outrageously expensive. It is acceptable. If you bring melon seeds in advance, it is also possible. You may not be able to bring fresh moss. We bought melon seeds, and my companion prepared to shoot birds with his 70-200 lens, but none of them were usable. The birds were not shot, but the melon seeds were almost eaten. There is also a large garden with real "silly roe deer" (。>∀<。), all with a silly and alert look on their faces. The elk looks quite docile except for the dangerous antlers.
Aoluguya Reindeer Township is 2 kilometers away from Genhe City. There are two addresses in Mafeng. The old one in Mangui Town no longer exists. The ticket is 30 yuan. The scenery is beautiful and suitable for taking pictures and sightseeing, but public transportation is not available. Almost everyone takes a taxi. I didn’t see any buses in the whole Genhe...
When it got cold, the reindeer went up the mountain to feed the birds and watch the wild boars.
One of my favorite photos was taken here. Look at the cute expression of this male reindeer:) He tilted his head, smiled, and his innocent eyes were looking forward to the moss food:)
Tickets and feeding are not expensive, and there are other small animals besides reindeer. As long as you stretch out your hand, birds will land on your hand, and there are also cute squirrels.
Genhe Aoluguya reindeer herding village is not the old Aoluguya north of Mangui. The park is very good, but if you look at it from the perspective of the Ewenki people, you will definitely feel sad. Moreover, some tourists are too much, forcibly disturbing the resting reindeer in order to take pictures.
What an interesting reindeer, the children are so happy!!!1
It was the first time I came into such close contact with such a large animal. The reindeer was very friendly. It would come close to me if there was food, but it would run away without looking back if there was no food...
There are still a lot of reindeer, and it is not expensive to buy moss at 10 yuan. With moss, you can easily become good friends with them, and taking photos is not a problem. Related travel notes: Hulunbuir Arshan Loop: My set of postcards, http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/9160333.html
In the ancient tribe, the reindeer are used to the sight of tourists. They bask in the sun lazily in the vast birch forest. Feeding them moss will give them some motivation.
Aoluguya Township is located 4 kilometers north of the western suburbs of Genhe City, deep in the Greater Khingan Range near the Arctic Circle. The climate is very cold and it is home to China's last hunting tribe - the ancient and mysterious Ewenki people.
The people here are descendants of the Ewenki people who migrated from the Lena River basin in Siberia to the Argun River basin more than 300 years ago. They have been living in the cold and dense forests of Greater Khingan Range, making a living by hunting and raising reindeer. They believe in "shamanism", worship tree gods, and use birch branches and bark to make simple pointed-roof houses and daily necessities... They have become the only reindeer-herding tribe in China.
When you enter the Aoluguya tribe, you will be immediately enveloped by a natural, simple and mysterious atmosphere. Breathing the pure and fresh air and having a close contact with reindeers, this feeling of embracing and integrating people and nature is like walking into a dreamy fairy tale...
It took a long time to find the deer park. I fed the deer twice. It was worth going.
Fortunately, before going to Hulunbuir Prairie, I read Chi Zijian's "The Right Bank of the Ergun River". This novel is a biography of the Ewenki people. Their ancestors have been migrating and hunting in the Greater Khingan Range. They believe in shamans and domesticate elks. After waking up from a sleep in Mukeleng in Genhe, we were drunk and confused last night. This state was very suitable for us to see the elks. The place is called Aoluguya Deer Herding Tribe. It preserves the living scenes of the Ewenki people and raises some elks for tourists to visit. In the fragrance of pine cones in the Greater Khingan Range, we saw the living tents of their tribe, the place where the shamans held ceremonies, and the elks that seemed to be depressed. Most people like to take a commemorative photo of the silent and docile elks. But I don't know why I suddenly felt sad in my heart. When the culture and lifestyle of a nation are regarded as attractions for visitors, this way of life and culture may be coming to an end. Those reindeers are of course cute, but you will never see the captive animals in their natural form again. Later, I vaguely heard from friends who traveled on horseback in Greater Khingan Range that there are very few Ewenki people who still maintain this lifestyle. It may be that settled life is more comfortable, and some are because the forest area has decreased and hunting is difficult to maintain. Although they may live better, maybe they don’t think so at all. In fact, the disappearance of this diversity, along with convenient transportation, economic development and cultural integration, is not only happening here, but in every corner of the world. I don’t know whether it is good or not, and I always feel a little melancholy.
You can see moose herds running on the trail. You can take pictures with the moose (they are not afraid of people and will steal people's food). You can buy some antler products
Especially those with children should come and see it, it is both educational and interesting. It is good. You must come early. If you come late, there will be too many people and it will be boring.
A tribe of the mysterious Ewenki people deep in the Greater Khingan Range. The Ewenki are the only ethnic minority in China that raises reindeer. They are also the only ethnic group in China that can carry guns. Reindeer love to eat moss. A large basket costs 10 or 20 yuan.
The little friend was holding a basket of food to feed the reindeer, but unexpectedly, one, two, three, and three came around, scaring the little friend so much that he screamed and ran away in a hurry.
It made me laugh to death.
The toilet in the deer park is a highlight. When you go in, you will feel that the conditions are very poor. . It is also high-altitude operation, but after comparison, you will miss it. . Because it is high-altitude operation, it is not too smelly. . . . . .
There is a small shop in the deer park, selling deer antler ornaments and other things. The price of deer antler ornaments ranges from 30 to 50.
There is a small village not far from the deer park. The driver said that the people of this tribe had just moved down from the deep mountains and forests in recent years. There are also souvenirs for sale here, many of which are handmade.
