We arrived at the Shiwei Russian Ethnic Township in the afternoon. In fact, I hesitated again and again whether to live in Shiwei or Linjiangtun or Enhe. Later, I saw some bees saying that Shiwei's construction and living conditions were better. Since I came with my parents, I decided to choose a place with better conditions. Since there are so many Russians here, a Russian ethnic township was built. You can see obvious differences in regional ethnic characteristics among many people in the town. In addition, the geographical location here is next to the Ergun River, which attracts many tourists to come here.

In the evening, the streets of Enhe Town were crowded with people. The horse farm, tricycles, and cars were all crowded together, so we naturally wanted to join in the fun. It had been a long time since we saw so many people, so it was inevitable that we felt a little embarrassed. So we randomly found an alley to go into and enjoy the free wind for a while.

There are mostly B&Bs and restaurants here, and there are very few aboriginal residents. It is said that this place is almost a deserted city in winter, and people only come here to do business for one season. How can this life sound so great!

It's not very big. Locals only come here to do tourism business in summer. There won't be many people at other times. You can take a horse-drawn carriage to tour the town.

In addition, wooden cabins are typical Russian dwellings, which can be seen everywhere in Enhe. The sound insulation of this kind of cabin is really poor, and staying there for one night is enough to experience it.

Enhe is located in the border area west of the northern foot of the Greater Khingan Range and east of the Ergun River. It is a border town under the jurisdiction of Ergun City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is one of the only two Russian ethnic townships in China. It faces Russia across the Ergun River, and the border is 75 kilometers long. The township has a population of 2,380, of which 1,329 are Russians and Russian descendants, accounting for about 56% of the total population. The architecture is mainly in Russian style. The production and living customs of the residents always maintain the original Russian folk customs. They live in Russian-style log cabins and stick to the Russian eating habits and festival seasons. There are 1.2 million acres of virgin forests and 400,000 acres of grasslands in the territory, with a forest and grass coverage rate of more than 80%. To be honest, I had seen many photos of Enhe and was attracted by this quiet little village. But when you arrived, you could buy local specialties everywhere, rent bicycles everywhere, and see colorful billboards everywhere. I was so disappointed that I couldn't express it in words. Fortunately, the B&B we stayed in saved a little bit of the score, otherwise I really didn't like it very much. It was too commercial. This B&B is awesome, and my kids and I love it.

Enhe Village is built in a valley between mountains. The Derbul River, a tributary of the Ergun River, flows quietly through the north of the village, winding and forming a large wetland. The rolling hills and grasslands beside the river are gentle and covered with fresh green grass. Cows, sheep and horses roam freely among them. The spires of Russian-style houses appear and disappear in the birch forest. The village now has a population of more than a thousand people, most of whom are third or fourth generation Russian descendants.

Enhe is located between Shiwei and Ergun City, connected by a two-way four-lane first-class highway, with extremely convenient transportation. It is a small town with a more Russian feel than Shiwei. There are many Chinese-Russian mixed-race people in the town, but they speak Northeastern dialect. The construction is not as modern as Shiwei, and it still retains its simple side. It is also a destination for many tourists. If you have time, it is worth staying overnight to slowly savor it.

Enhe Township and Shiwei Town are the two major destinations on the northern route of Hulunbuir. They have relatively complete supporting facilities and you can also experience the Russian-style wooden rooms with ethnic characteristics (we stayed in Russian Love Villa for 320 per night). I personally feel that Enhe is more intimate and the surrounding scenery is more natural.

Another big factor that adds points to Enhe is the good weather after the rain. Everything under the blue sky and white clouds looks lively, and even a small swamp can take us half a day to shoot. Another important reason for liking Enhe is, I think, because of the flowers, the endless sea of flowers all over the mountains.

In Enhe, you can ride a bicycle during the day, stroll around the night market or even watch performances at night, but don't forget to see the nearby sea of flowers. On the way from Qika, you can see that the wild flowers on the roadside are blooming more and more unscrupulously. The driver Xiao Zhang also took us to a hilltop with a birch forest to see the flowers on the second day. What I want to recommend to you is my own exclusive experience - Wolong Mountain.

Wolong Mountain is also called Yidao Mountain. It is located in the north of Enhe Township. Not far after the Enhe Bridge, you can see a mountain over 100 meters high in front of you. There is a small path to the mountain near the road sign. As long as the shoes are suitable, it is easy to reach the top. There are sacrificial supplies for local Orthodox Christians at the "dragon head" on the top of the mountain. Stroll along the road trampled by locals and crushed by off-road vehicles. There are colorful flowers on both sides. Looking south, Enhe Township is spread out in front of you, and you can see it all at a glance. Except for the annoying mosquitoes (the insects in Hulunbuir are famous for being annoying), it is so beautiful to see all this under the blue sky in the early morning...

It's so commercialized, it totally violates the title of China's top ten small towns. So disappointed, you guys should go to Linjiangtun, I originally planned to go to Linjiang, but I made an appointment with someone to share a car the next day, so I didn't want to go to Linjiang anymore.

The Russian National Township is in Shiwei Town, Ergun City, Hulunbuir City. It is only about 1.5 kilometers away from the Sino-Russian Friendship Bridge. If you want to go to the Friendship Bridge, you will have to pay a 20 yuan ticket, but there are soldiers guarding the bridge next to it. Soon after crossing the Greater Khingan Range, we saw buildings in the style of Russians. That was Shiwei! Shiwei is a must-go stop for all Hulunbuir loops. It is separated from Russia by a river. The Ergun River divides it into two parts, belonging to the two countries respectively! Since it was still early, I strolled around the town leisurely. The town was inevitably overly commercialized due to the large number of tourists, which I didn’t like very much. However, I found inexpensive milk slices and beef jerky in the dazzling array of shops, completing the task assigned by my mother, which was the biggest gain in Shiwei!

Shiwei is truly a great tourist attraction. The main street is brightly lit at night, and you can see the Russian village across the Ergun River.

Although it has become very commercialized, it is still a good experience to see Russian friends on the other side of the Ergun River.

Shiwei, a small village on the northern border, has a port that is only a checkpoint to prevent the flow of people. It does not involve trade. The other side of the border river in Shiwei is Russia. Comparing the buildings on both sides, the motherland is better. I stayed in Shiwei at night and felt that the commercial atmosphere was too strong. I didn't like this overdeveloped town very much.

We decided to play here for two days and saw the solemn national gate and the matryoshka square full of girlish hearts. During this period, we seemed to have entered a paradise. Some small towns we passed by even had no signal for several hours. We would not be disturbed by the outside world, and we could really enjoy life and the journey would not be too busy. We just passed by Shiwei, where commercialization is still very strong. Most tourist groups stop and check in here, but we chose the quieter Linjiangtun.

Enhe is highly commercialized, and almost the entire village is engaged in the tourism reception industry. The price of accommodation here varies greatly. We stayed in the Russian-style "Mukeleng", a standard room for 240 yuan, the room was very clean, and the biggest disadvantage of "Mukeleng" is poor sound insulation. If there is a little noise on one side, the neighbor can hear it clearly.

The nights in Enhe are quite lively. The streets of the village are bustling with people buying local specialties, peddling Russian souvenirs, and running restaurants, and the shouts of people are heard one after another.

The Russian western food here is very distinctive, and it feels better and more affordable than the one in Hailar Lubqi Western Restaurant. We had dinner at Zoya Russian Tourism House, which is a family restaurant with limited size and can only accommodate four tables of guests. It is said that the chef cooks good Russian food, and the reviews given by travelers on Dianping are good. When we ordered the meal, we learned from the lessons of Hailar. We didn't want the kebabs, and the canned beef was replaced with potato strips and beef patties. The staple food was garlic leba slices, meat-stuffed bulin cakes, and tiramisu. In addition, we ordered a Russian smoked meat platter and fried Huazi fish. We only ordered one serving of borscht, and the drink was still kvass. Facts have proved that such adjustments are necessary. After a meal, everyone is quite satisfied, and the price is also very affordable. Our group of ten people spent just over 500 yuan.

For 75 yuan, you can take a boat ride along the border river. You can see the Russian flag flying on the other side of the river. I don’t know if it’s because of my patriotic enthusiasm, but I always feel that the grass in Russia is not as lush as ours in China. ╭(╯ε╰)╮In addition, taking pictures is prohibited in some areas. A child took a photo with his mobile phone and was detained and questioned by the border guards. At noon, I had dinner at a restaurant in Shiwei. The menu did not have prices. I found out later that a plate of fried eggs with leeks was 60 yuan, a plate of cold wild vegetables was 50 yuan, a plate of dumplings, and four bowls of Korean noodles, a total of more than 200 yuan. It seems that I was cheated, right?

We had lunch in Shiwei, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. They were all authentic home-cooked dishes, and the portions were generous. Shiwei Sino-Russian Mongolian Yuan Shiwei Square, where you can see the Russian village from a closer distance. When I came here, I was always curious why the houses here are all small wooden houses. I finally found out that it was because the earth's crust here is prone to cracking, and wooden houses can resist earthquakes. You can see the Russian village across the river! In the distance of Shiwei's sight, the dark place is the Russian village, and it looks like life must be very hard.

Horse riding next to it is super cheap and much better than Heishantou. The boss is also very nice. The room is also good!
