Heishantou

It is located about 60 kilometers southwest of Ergun City. The west and northwest face the Pri-Argunsk region of Russia across the Ergun River. The town covers an area of about 1,065.68 square kilometers, with a border line of about 130 kilometers and a Sino-Russian water boundary of about 86.7 kilometers. In 1689, after the signing of the Sino-Russian Treaty of Nerchinsk, the Qing government set up Karen (outposts) on the Ergun River, of which the third, fourth, fifth and sixth outposts were all within the territory of Heishantou. In 1952, Heishantou was transferred from Chenqi to Ergun. Heishantou Town is a multi-ethnic residential area with descendants of Chinese and Russians as the main body and Han people as the majority. The main passage for passenger and freight traffic in Heishantou Town is Labdalin--Heishantou Highway. Heishantou Town was approved by the State Council as a national first-class land port in 1989.

I thought Heishantou was a mountain, but when I got here I realized that Heishantou was a small town, an ancient city. The highest mountain in the ancient city is called Sunset Mountain by the locals, which is the best place to watch the sunset. When the time comes, people in the town go up the mountain and sit quietly on the top of the mountain waiting for the moment when the sun gradually sinks. The sky in the distance changes from light pink to deep red, and the last ray of sunset slowly disappears in the sky, creating a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

Standing on the open grassland, the sky is filled with rich colors, and the other side of the mountain is dyed beautifully. I can't keep the red sun setting, so I can only stand in the sunset and watch silently. Everything is like a scene in a movie, low-pressure clouds, colorful colors and traveling people.

"Climb up the mountain and wait for a sunrise and sunset. The silent romance is actually right beside you.

Dusk at Black Mountain

Heishantou has nothing to do with the Black Mountain Demon. From here you can see the entire Ergun Wetland from another side.

I have been to many wetlands. In my experience, wetlands, like my junior brothers, are nothing special to see. They are just lowlands, meadows, swamps, and lakes mixed together. When people are in the wetlands, they listen to the soft sound of a cello.

I have also seen many sunsets. Most of them, which are said to be the best in the world, are at the seaside. Two people watch the fiery clouds, holding hands and lovingly listening to the deep chanting of the violin.

But the combination of sunset and wetland is most beautiful at Heishantou. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can hear the cello playing "Wild Geese", and facing the sunset, you can hear the violin playing "Despacito".

Some people drive up there, but believe me, walking, even if you are stepping on horse manure, can cleanse your mind. Stepping on the soft soil, feeling the wind from the wetland, moving forward step by step, and finally standing on the top of the mountain, the feeling of sudden enlightenment will make you feel calm. If the "Ragnarok" in the Norse mythology is explosive, then the dusk on the top of the black mountain is healing. Later, I watched "Your Name" three times. The Tasogare in the cartoon when yin and yang intertwine, and the dusk on the empty mountain top are so familiar.

Heishantou is just a small town, but it has the most beautiful sunset.

If the journey is not too far and I have to stay in Heishantou for one night, I will not stay in Heishantou. To the Heishantou sunset observation point, I can either take the local battery car or ride a horse.

The dust was very heavy so we chose to take a car

There were not many people on the way there, 10 yuan, and on the way back, everyone rushed to get on the bus, 20 yuan

There are still many people watching the sunset on the hillside.

Drones are not allowed here (but some people do so secretly)

This time we stayed at the grassland, the newest scenic spot in Heishantou. Those who like the original ecological environment may be a little disappointed, because this is a hotel with the appearance of a yurt.

The advantage is that the stay experience is really great! The facilities here are complete, the room is large, and the price is naturally the most expensive in the past few days. I was lucky enough to see meteors and aurora at night.

Heishantou is a place that all people who visit Hulunbuir will go to. It is also a town under the jurisdiction of Ergun City. The name comes from a mountain in the northeast of the town. Whenever a thunderstorm comes, the mountain is covered with dark clouds and appears black. It is called "Hala Ule" in Mongolian and translated into "Heishantou" in Chinese.

For me, Heishantou is a large amusement park where you can experience Mongolian entertainment. There are many herdsmen here. You can buy a ticket to choose a set of Mongolian clothing that suits you and experience various projects. It is like participating in a young version of "Nadam".

The first few times I came to Heishantou, I didn't have a deep impression of it. I just remember that it was a place for horse riding on the grassland and a must-stop rest point on the Ka Line Highway. This time I came to Heishantou, I took a photo of an equestrian show and saw a nice sunset, which greatly improved my impression of it. Especially the part about driving through the grassland mentioned above, which satisfied all my fantasies about the grassland.

There are many kinds of equestrian performances in Hulunbuir. The most common kind of performance is in the Barhu grassland tribe, which is a fixed-point performance with many tourists. Thanks to the large number of horse farms in Heishantou, local herdsmen have started a business of riding horses and photographing horses. The performances of lassoing, standing horse, bending waist, etc. are all very conscientious. Unfortunately, the weather was not very good when we took the photos, but fortunately, the sunlight penetrated the clouds at sunset.

We arrived at Heishantou Town under the jurisdiction of Ergun City at around 18:00 in the evening and checked into Shenfei Manor. The overall feeling of Shenfei Manor was pretty good. There were both buildings and yurts for accommodation. There was a large grassland behind the manor with grazing horses, cattle and sheep. You could take a walk and take pictures. After dark, there was a free bonfire party in the small square of the hotel, which you could participate in and experience.

Heishantou is an ancient city located in Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This time we went to the Heishantou area, mainly riding horses to explore the hinterland of the grassland in the area. The experience of riding horses to see the scenery is still great.

Heishantou is a famous horse training farm, so when we came here we couldn't help but try horse riding.

When I was planning Heishantou, I decided to visit Sunset Hill, a must-see spot for this trip. It is said that this is a great spot to watch the sunset, but it is difficult to drive up. There happened to be a horse riding route at the horse farm, which takes about two hours to ride from the horse farm to Sunset Hill, watch the sunset and then return. The total price is 450 yuan. Shunji and I finally chose this route.

Because the sunset is around 6:15, we set out from the racecourse at 5:00, with about eight people in our group.

The horse trainer will teach everyone some common commands and movements before tourists get on the horses, such as how to use the reins and movements to make the horses move forward, stop, and turn left or right. Most of the horses are very docile, and the entire team walks in a straight line.

The horse I rode was a brown horse, not very tall, and very docile and obedient. The horses in a horse farm must march in a straight line, with one trainer leading and another trainer following. Generally speaking, several horses cannot walk side by side, otherwise they are likely to have conflicts and fights.

Although the owner of the horse farm said that we were not encouraged to bring cameras at the beginning, after all, the beautiful scenery of Sunset Mountain, how could I be willing to take pictures without a camera? If you bring a camera, I strongly recommend that you bring a telephoto lens. For example, I used a 70-180 lens at the time, which I think is very suitable for taking pictures of Sunset Mountain. I also brought a 24-70 lens at the time, but I didn't use it at all in the end. When you are riding a horse, you should still pay attention to reducing the weight as much as possible, and try not to carry a backpack. If you have to carry a backpack, don't put too many valuables in the bag, because once the horse trots, it will be very bumpy. Sometimes I am really afraid that the lens will be damaged in the bag.

The horse I rode was very obedient. It was shorter and had smaller steps, but when it saw that the horse ahead of it had gotten farther away, it would automatically trot a few times to catch up with the horse ahead without my urging. I felt that it was a fully automatic pony. I felt that I had developed an affection for it after riding it all the way. I had already fallen in love with it.

When we finally arrived at Sunset Mountain, I was a little shocked by the beauty in front of me. It was a small hill, and below the hill was a wetland with colorful shrubs growing all over the wetland. In the distance was a winding river, and the setting sun just fell at the end of the river, dyeing the river water orange-red.

At that moment, I felt that the scenery here was so beautiful, and I also felt a little regretful, because when we arrived at the top of Sunset Mountain, it was almost sunset, but I think such beautiful scenery is actually suitable for appreciation from morning to night. For example, I think we should come here at three or four o'clock in the afternoon to quietly appreciate the beautiful scenery here until sunset, instead of arriving here at sunset. I feel that the time for enjoying the sunset on horseback is still too short.

Today's timing was very good. Due to the flooded road, we were forced to change our route to Heishantou to watch the sunset, but when we arrived at the small viewing platform at Heishantou, the time was just right.

Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, and we unexpectedly encountered the beautiful wetland sunset in Heishantou.

Heishantou is also a border town, close to Ergun City and Manzhouli. It has mature tourism development and is a good place to ride horses, eat meat and watch the sunset. The sunset at Heishantou is majestic, thick and stunning, which is one of its major features. It attracts every tourist who visits Hulunbuir. Almost everyone who comes to Hulunbuir for tourism will come here.

Today we drove in the opposite direction towards Wuka. The route was not long and we encountered some very nice scenery on the way. We went to a place with amusement facilities on the side of the road where we could drive grass cars, slide on the grass, and ride horses. We were not interested in these man-made facilities, but the lawn mowers and grass carts on the grass were quite suitable for us.

When I first saw the name of this town, I thought of the scene in "A Chinese Odyssey" where the Bull King shook his body and threw away countless cattle lice all over the mountains. In fact, the hills here are not black, but the name does come from the Black Mountain Group 2 kilometers northeast of the town. Black Mountain is almost a must-see point in the Hulunbuir tour route, which is usually arranged one day before or after Manzhouli. The classic activities here are horseback riding and watching the sunset. Living in a yurt, milking sheep, feeding lambs and other ethnic customs are also special.

Before driving to Heishantou Town, there are several private horse riding teams on the roadside. Basically, you follow the horseman to go around in circles, and there is no opportunity to gallop. The way of taking pictures and selling money is similar to that in other parts of the country; the slight difference is that there are special protective gears here, and there will be explanations before getting on the horse, so the safety factor is relatively higher. Tourists who have had experience in horse riding before should weigh whether it is necessary to try it again. Anyway, I didn't get on the horse.

The best viewing spot for watching the sunset at Heishantou is the free area with the most tourists and off-road vehicles on this trip, even more than the Morigele River - because watching the sunset is a fixed time period, so you can see all the tourists who arrived at Heishantou on the same day there. I don’t know if it’s because there are too many people, the popular mountain was temporarily restricted and no cars were allowed to go up. The driver Xiao Zhang took us to another mountain, and the scenery we saw was equally shocking.

Of course, if you think it’s not too cool to watch and take photos of the same wetland sunset with hundreds of people, you can walk a little further to get a wider view and a more special picture. This picture of flying clouds and running horses is also one of the highlights of this trip.

After watching the sunset at Heishantou, we had to stay in the town for a night, so the yurts (Golden Mongolian Tribe 380/night) and Mongolian meals and bonfire parties here were very popular. Compared with the yurts I stayed in before at Xilamuren Grassland, the ones here are more authentic, at least covered with canvas instead of cement bricks and tiles. However, this also brought problems such as ventilation and water permeability, and various grassland insects could also visit freely through the gaps in the canvas. After 11 o'clock that night, there was another power outage, and all charging equipment faced the crisis of shutdown the next day. In short, this yurt night was not a very pleasant experience.

The scenery along the way was unique and we all hoped to rent a car to travel this road again in the future, stopping and enjoying the beautiful scenery. We sat in the first row of the bus and took pictures all the way.

Heishantou is a famous spot for photographing sunsets. During the peak season, you need to reserve a spot early, as there are many cameras and long guns everywhere. The off-season is much better, as there are not many people and you can enjoy the sunset in the sky quietly.

Arriving at Heishantou Town, the vast Hulunbuir grassland appeared before our eyes. We drove up a hill with a gentle slope (Heishantou) and looked around at the surrounding villages, grasslands, and wetlands. On one side was the boundless grassland, and on the other side were the winding rivers and wetlands. In any direction, it was open to the limit of vision. Heishantou Town was "sprinkled" on the grassland not far away.

Located in Hulunbuir Prairie, there are professional horse trainers who will teach you how to ride a horse in 3 hours. The vast green prairie with blue sky, white clouds and vast sky is like a poem or a picture.

As soon as I got on the horse, I galloped wildly, imitating the movements of riding horses in movies and TV shows, shouting "Go, go, go!"... For 40 yuan an afternoon, I had a crazy afternoon by the border river with Russia. It was so cool. It was really cool.

The sunset in Heishantou is famous. There is a wetland at the foot of the mountain. When the sun is shining, the sunset will be very spectacular. Unfortunately, when we went there, the sun was not strong and was always behind the clouds. In addition, many drivers will take tourists to the horse farm near Heishantou to ride horses. The price list of the horse farm is divided into categories. We chose to ride a small circle (in the grassland of the horse farm) for 200 yuan, and a large circle for 400 yuan. Because you need a horseman, the horse-leading fee is 60 yuan (30 per person). Leading a horse means walking slowly, about 40 minutes or an hour to walk a small circle. If you don't lead a horse, you can ride back in 20 minutes. (Usually, the chartered driver takes you to the horse farm, and the driver will have a corresponding kickback. If you don't want to ride a horse, you can refuse it. We are bear children who clamor to ride a horse, so this fee cannot be saved) After the horse riding, the driver led us to check into the yurt in Heishantou. (PS: When you see large-scale yurts on the grassland, they are yurt experience hotels that were created for the tourism industry.) The facilities in the yurt are the same as those in ordinary hotel rooms, with a bathroom, water heater and flush toilet, but the shell looks exactly like a yurt. (320 per night during the peak summer season) Don't worry about the accommodation of the chartered driver, there are collective dormitories for the drivers here, and the hotel will provide drivers with multi-person rooms.

We went back to the yurt hotel lobby for dinner. There were singing and dancing and horse-head fiddle performances to liven up the atmosphere, but the food… I can say they beat the salt seller to death. Even the small green vegetables were so salty that it was outrageous. The two naughty kids were interested in using a knife to cut the meat from the roasted lamb legs. The lamb offal soup was also so salty that it was scary, and it was also spicy o(╥﹏╥)o

My five internal organs are burning, and I feel like I have a fever. When I go back to the guest room at night, my urine is cola color...

(The chartered driver had dinner with us, and the meal cost more than 300 yuan for three big kids and two small kids. You have to understand this in a tourist area.)

When I was sleeping at night, I was disturbed by the bonfire party next to the yurt. The square dance music coming from the microphone filled my ears like drums. The yurt was originally a small circle, just like the VIP room of karaoke. I was bombarded by the sound and almost vomited blood to death when the party finally ended. I looked at the time, it was almost midnight.

Here I deeply understand the truth that others sing for money, but here singing is for life.

A word of emotion: Just experience the yurt once and don’t be hard on yourself.

By Beautiful Dreams |

We came to Heishantou to watch the sunset at around 5 o'clock. The sun never broke through the thick clouds, but it also showed the turbulent side of the grassland. Standing on the top of the mountain, the vision is extremely broad and boundless. The sky is vast, the wilderness is vast, and we are just a drop in the ocean after all.

By Contented |

There are many horse farms in Heishantou, in fact, there are many horse farms along the road. Maybe the driver is familiar with the horse farms here, so he took us here to ride horses. The young man from Lao Gao Horse Farm is said to have been on CCTV, so his business is very popular. Horse riding in the peak season is much more expensive than usual, 200 yuan per person for half an hour.

The three essential steps for the grassland are sunset, horseback riding and traveling around the world! ! Heishantou can satisfy all of them! Riding a horse for ten kilometers on the grassland is not as easy as I imagined. I was nervous and scared on the way there, but I finally got used to it on the way back. My horse is a little Buddha baby, the most beautiful but the laziest, always following others leisurely [silly smile] After riding a horse, I encountered the sunset and sunset glow of Heishantou!

After reading so many reviews, I felt that the reviewers were not professional enough and the experiences were not in-depth. I found a AAA scenic spot in Heishantou from the list published by the Tourism Development Commission, but no one has ever been there? ? ? It is called Lev Wetland Manor, where you can cruise the wetlands, watch the sunset, stay in a birch tree house, and eat great Russian food. There are a few mosquitoes in the open-air swimming pool and sauna, but it doesn't affect you in the water. Applaud my spirit of discovery, and here are the pictures.

Drive to Sunset Mountain in Heishantou Town to watch the sunset. Here you can have your most beautiful fantasy of sunset. When talking about Heishantou, we have to talk about sunset and horse riding. And horse riding will be experienced tomorrow. There will be a bonfire party at the accommodation at night. Everyone dances around the fire, which is very lively.

The horse farms in Heishantou are very standardized, and the horses are professionally trained and very obedient. You can control the reins to the left or right to make the horse turn left or right; if you want the horse to gallop, you can use the stirrup to kick the horse's belly and shout "Go", and the horse will trot in response. If you want to stop, you can pull the reins and shout "Whoa". You must listen to the instructions of the horseman.

Our driver is familiar with the owner of the horse farm and gave us an "upgraded service". We were able to gallop on the grassland while being held by the groom. It felt very cool and the speed was very fast. Please contact Zhang Peng (I5O 4BO 5ЗI5B) for unexpected surprises!

After watching the movie "Mojin: The Lost Legend", I arranged a free trip to Hulunbuir to see the filming location. There were only signs set up by the family to explain what happened here.

There is a popular internet celebrity called "Eagle" here. It costs 20 yuan to take a photo with it. The sun is so bright outside, so I won't join in the fun. I'll just sit in the car and watch it from a distance.

The place to watch the sunset and ride horses is a must-go for the Hulunbuir loop. It connects to Shiwei and Manchuria. The scenery along the way is beautiful. Accommodation recommendation: The owner of the Mongolian-Han yurt is honest and will take you to milk the cows and feed the lambs. The roasted lamb legs at Ziyu Hotel are good. Other dishes are large and affordable.

By Now, I'm Back |

Before going to Heishantou, I learned from other people's travel notes that horse riding, sunset and yogurt are three must-try activities. After arriving at Heishantou, I met the former village chief, Old Li, who was wandering on the street. Old Li took me directly to the hotel outsourced by his son, which cost 80 a night. The next day, as we agreed, he came to call me to ride a horse at 10 o'clock. The horse was tall and strong, a foreign horse, different from the short Mongolian horse. He only had this one and raised it himself. He exchanged it for a mother and calf horse. I couldn't gallop when I rode a horse for the first time, but I was content with just the lurch of the horse. Later, I met a professional horse team in the wetland, with professional and handsome equipment and jockeys leading them. Unfortunately, they couldn't run by themselves. I roughly discovered that behind the professional horse farm and professional equipment, they can only walk slowly, but I can wander around with Old Li's horse. It was noon when I rode the horse. Old Li invited me to their house to eat yogurt. There were more than 100 boxes in the freezer, which I could eat at will. This is the source of most of the yogurt in the town. Don't ask me how I know. I went with him to deliver the goods in the afternoon. I won't reveal the real price of this yogurt, which retails for six yuan a bowl. I can only say that we ate casually at Lao Li's house. In the afternoon, I rode Lao Li's horse-drawn carriage around the town, applying medicine to deer, shoeing horses, pulling yogurt for tourists. When we parted in the evening, I treated Lao Li to a meal, fried mutton and fried willow roots, and two taels of wine. His son-in-law happened to be here, and after dinner, Lao Li went home to make yogurt. His son-in-law, I will temporarily call him the big brother, rode a motorcycle and took me to all the slopes of the Black Mountain to watch the sunset. After dark, he took me to the bonfire. I typed so many words just hoping that someone could see me. It was fate that I met Lao Li, and it was also fate that someone could see me. If you can believe me for the time being, you will find that riding a horse can be so free and cheap, and that homemade yogurt can be eaten casually. You can also go to Lao Li's house to see the ostriches, deer, turkeys, and wild boars he raises.

Passing by!

It has no characteristics of its own and is just a transit station.

Heishantou is not a mountain, but it is also very vast and suitable for horseback riding. 100 yuan for a small circle

The horse will trot twice after the lead horse. Although it is not being led, it does not feel as galloping as imagined until the end.

We went there in late June, which is the dry season. There were a lot of grasshoppers and the surrounding grass was yellow. Heishantou is also next to the river. If there is enough rain, it should be green everywhere, with a lot of cattle and sheep. There are horse racing fields around Heishantou. If you want to ride a horse, you can go there. I will go there again if I have the chance.

Be sure to prepare for sun protection and wind protection. This place is so beautiful, and the sunrise and sunset times are so early.

There is a small hill in Heishantou, a quiet place where you can lie on the grass for a whole day. Flocks of sheep graze on the wide grassland, and on the other side of the river is the famous Genhe Wetland. By the way, I drank the best milk in my life in Heishantou. It was fresh, just heated up, and tasted a hundred times better than the one in the supermarket.

There are few posts on the Internet that mention Heishantou, and we didn't have high expectations. However, travel will give you many surprises. Due to the scarcity of tourists, this village has completely preserved its original ecology. The trails in the village are all dirt roads, shared by people, cows, and cars. The word "harmonious" can be used to describe the feeling when I passed by the cows. The village faces Genhe River and backs on the hillside, and the feng shui is also very nourishing.

The current yurts are the same as the yurts where herders stayed in those days, except for the appearance. The rest are made according to the needs of tourists. In order to let us experience it, the master arranged the yurt where we stayed on the grassland.

Our yurt also has air conditioning: the temperature difference between day and night on the grassland is large, and with air conditioning it won't be cold at night! The dinner in the yurt was very lively, with a roasted whole lamb opening ceremony and singing and dancing performances. When night fell, what awaited us was an unforgettable bonfire party.

Heishantou Town is a small town on the Sino-Russian border. The scenery here is endless, food and accommodation are relatively convenient, and the price is relatively low. If you want to see the border scenery, you need to climb high.

The sunset here is completely different from the sunset at the seaside, and it is definitely worth seeing.

Heishantou is located in the southwest of Ergun City. It was once the territory of King Khasar, the younger brother of Genghis Khan. It is the junction of forests and wetlands and is located in a transnational wetland. The scenery is very beautiful along the way. We appreciated Mongolian wrestling, horse racing, equestrianism and other Mongolian culture, and the roasted whole lamb, which is indispensable for this trip, was also eaten here‼ ️

We arrived at Heishantou at noon. After resting, the first thing we did was, of course, go! Ride! A horse!

You will pass by this bridge when you go to Shiwei on the border highway. The big iron bridge is quite famous.
