The Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall and the Martyrs' Deeds Exhibition Hall display many of the soldiers' books, manuscripts, clothes, and writing tools.
The park is lush and green, and is not only a tourist attraction, but also a place for leisure and entertainment for Nanjing citizens.
The Yuhua Stone Art Festival is held in September every year, and there is a large azalea exhibition from March to June. It is also a good place to enjoy plum blossoms and magnolias.

As a red tourist attraction, Yuhuatai Scenic Area does not require tickets. Probably because it was too late, there were not many people in the scenic area. As soon as I entered the park, I suddenly saw a huge stone standing tall above the pool, with "Yuhuatai" written in large golden characters on it. The reflection in the pool was clearly visible, making the three large golden characters look extremely solemn.
After the memorial hall, you can walk across the memorial bridge to the reflecting pool, and then to the martyrs' monument. There are two spacious stone slabs in the reflecting pool area, one is engraved with "March of the Volunteers" and the other is engraved with "The Internationale", both of which have Manchu, Tibetan and Mongolian translations, which shows that the events that happened here are remembered by people.
On the steps in front of the Yuhuatai Martyrs Monument, the words "Forever Struggle" were spelled out with flowers, and an unfinished message was engraved in front of the monument: "We and our descendants will come here often..."
Going further back, there are two green paths leading to the north gate. It was a cool day, and I suddenly saw the neat trees and withered grass on both sides. I felt sad and suddenly remembered the words in Tao Qian's "Elegy": "Relatives may mourn for me, but others have already sung. What is there to say about death? My body will be buried in the mountains."
Before exiting the north gate, look back and you will see a statue of martyrs, recording the revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives heroically.
You can drive into Yuhuatai from the South Gate and drive around the entire park, while you can take a battery car tour from the North Gate (after 9 am). In addition to the statues of martyrs, Yuhuatai also has some historical sites, such as the Erzhong Temple (which enshrines Yang Bangyi and Wen Tianxiang, famous officials of the Song Dynasty), Li Jie's Tomb, Gaozuo Temple, etc.
In the autumn of Yuhua, the maple trees are red and the ginkgo trees are golden.
The rain flowers of the Six Dynasties condensed the charm of heaven and earth, and a piece of history was written to establish a holy platform for eternity.
Basically, we walked along the central axis. During the trip, we also visited the scenic spots and historical sites, Ganlu Pavilion (ancient Ganlu Well), Ganlu Gate, Gaozuo Temple, Fangsheng Pond, Ergong Temple, etc.
The central axis, the sculpture of martyrs who died, the reflecting pool, Yuhua Lake, the Memorial Bridge, the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall, the Siyuan Land, etc.
Free scenic spot.
Yuhuatai is very large. If you really want to walk by yourself, it will probably take more than an hour. I chose the sightseeing bus plus the explanation, which cost 20 yuan in total. I personally feel that this kind of travel experience is very good. He will introduce you to all the attractions of Yuhuatai and take you around the scenic area twice. The first circle is explained throughout the whole process. Just take pictures at one or two attractions and leave after taking pictures. The second circle is where you want to go. You can tell the driver directly and he will take you there directly. Note: You don’t need a ticket to enter the Yuhuatai scenic area, but you need a ticket for the small attractions in Yuhuatai. You can get some discounts by buying more attractions. You can buy tickets directly on the sightseeing bus. It’s best not to buy tea in the scenic area. It’s very expensive. The Yuhua tea here is said to be very famous, but it is also very expensive. If you drink tea here, it’s 40 yuan/cup, and it seems to be 100/liang if you buy it.
A quick search on the map revealed that next to the Dabaoen Temple is Yuhuatai. Yuhuatai is divided into two parts, the Martyrs Cemetery and Yuhuatai Park. There are many reliefs and a memorial hall in the Martyrs Cemetery. Gaozuo Temple is not crowded with people. There are lectures at fixed times. There are lotus cushions in the temple for people to meditate. It looks relatively quiet, not the kind of temple that is crowded with tourists.
There are also Erzhong Temple, Yuhua Stone Museum and other places to visit in Yuhuatai Park. Friends who have enough time can stroll around slowly. The park does not charge admission and there are not many tourists, most of whom are elderly.
Just as I was gazing up and immersed in the memory of the martyrs, I happened to see students from Shanghai Fengjing Middle School lined up neatly to come to the monument to commemorate the heroes. They were dressed in neat school uniforms, holding flowers in their hands, and their faces were full of solemnity and piety. Under the guidance of the teacher, the students solemnly presented the bouquets in their hands and then bowed deeply. The uniform movements and focused and serious eyes all showed their respect for the martyrs.

Yuhuatai is a small hill with a flat top and good greenery. There is the second most famous spring in Jiangnan. Many revolutionaries were martyred here in history, so there is a martyrs' memorial cemetery, which is the largest in China.
It was almost dark when I got here. There was no one around and it was very eerie. I even got lost while walking. I was holding such an expensive camera in my hand. I was very scared at the time and tried desperately to find the exit. Finally, I got out successfully. I guess the revolutionary martyrs were blessing me.
Nanjing Yuhuatai is a holy place of the New Democratic Revolution and has now become a scenic spot integrating natural and cultural landscapes.
It is a free attraction, a martyrs' cemetery plus a garden. It should be a must-see attraction for group tours. There are many travel agency buses. The tour bus is 20 yuan per person for a round trip. There are also two paid small attractions with separate tickets for 17 yuan each. You can buy two tickets for 15 yuan from the tour bus driver. If you are short of time, you can skip it. It's nothing.
Located 1 km outside Zhonghuamen in Yuhuatai District, Nanjing, it is a unique national memorial scenic spot that relies on natural mountains and forests, takes red tourism as its main body, and integrates natural scenery and cultural landscape.
It's OK to pay tribute to the martyrs' monument and stroll around the garden to relax. There's nothing special about the scenery.
I went to Nanjing twice in July 2014 despite the road construction at the doorstep.
How should I put it? The experience of traveling with a tour group was terrible. Luckily, we were able to visit all the places. Isn’t traveling just you visiting my city and I visiting your city?
The scenic area is very close to the South Station, and it is very convenient to take the subway. Take the subway line 3 from the South Station to Kazimen for three stops, and walk west from the subway station. It will take about ten minutes to reach the South Gate of Yuhuatai Scenic Area. Yuhuatai is not a popular scenic spot in Nanjing, and there are not many people in the scenic area. After entering the South Gate, we walked all the way north, passed the Zhonghun Pavilion, visited the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall, and then arrived at the Yuhuatai Martyrs Monument. The location of the monument is the highest point of the scenic area, where you can overlook the entire scenic area. There is a group sculpture of revolutionary martyrs of Yuhuatai near the North Gate, which is a good place to take photos and group photos. It took us almost two hours to walk slowly all the way and go around the entire park. If you want to buy some Yuhua stones to take home as a souvenir, you can buy them after leaving the scenic area. The price of the same stone in the scenic area is three times the price outside the scenic area.
The Yuhuatai Scenic Area is very large and is divided into many areas. It feels more like a park. There are many local citizens who can choose to visit it. You can visit the monument, Yuhua Pavilion and other attractions.
Located 1 km outside Zhonghua Gate in Yuhuatai District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, it covers an area of 153.7 hectares, with a green coverage rate of over 90%. It is a unique national memorial scenic spot that relies on natural mountains and forests, takes red tourism as its main body, and integrates natural scenery and cultural landscapes.
This land, where countless martyrs were buried, now has a quiet environment and has become a red tourism scenic spot.
Yuhuatai has a long history. There are beautiful colorful stones on the mountain - Yuhua Stone. In the 3,000-year history of Yuhuatai, many famous people have visited. There is no ticket for Yuhuatai, and it only takes about an hour to take a quick look.
After leaving Yuhua Terrace, head north along Yuhua East Road towards Zhonghua Gate. There are many old houses on one side of Yuhua East Road, and their names all have a sense of age. When you reach Yuhua Road, you will soon reach Zhonghua Gate.
I came to Yuhuatai Scenic Area to pay tribute to the martyrs on National Day and to offer my most sincere remembrance and gratitude. As expected, there were not many people in Yuhuatai Scenic Area. I didn't know whether I should be happy or sad. The green water of the pool reflects all the surrounding scenery, including thousands of thoughts and emotions. I didn't take an electric car, but measured this land sprinkled with the blood of tens of thousands of people with my feet. Listening to the explanation in the headphones, I didn't feel tired, but felt solemn and moved and fortunate. It took about three hours to walk around and stop. It was a pity that I didn't see the 108 blue and white peacocks in Xiyuan, the ancient Ganlu Well next to Gaozuo Temple, and the murals in Yuhua Pavilion in person.
The environment is quiet and it is a good place for leisure, but!!! Don't take the 20 yuan sightseeing bus, which is said to be a circle around the scenic area, but it only takes 10 minutes. The explanation with an accent is basically reciting Baidu Encyclopedia. It is not worth the price at all. Friends, don't be fooled! ! Even if you are tired, just find a chair to sit down and rest for a while, remember, remember!
It is a red tourist attraction in Nanjing. When I was in primary school, I read a book describing "Yuhuatai". I can't remember the plot, but I only remember one sentence: "Yuhua Stone is dyed red by the blood of martyrs."
It is not far from Nanjing South Railway Station. You can ride a bicycle to the south gate of Yuhuatai from the north square of South Railway Station. The main attractions are:
1. Yuhua Stone Museum: It is worth a visit for those who like stones. There are many exotic Yuhua stones on display, which can also be purchased.
2. Yuhua Pavilion: The source of the allusion "the sky is full of clouds", built on a high platform, with several floors. When you climb to the top floor, you are at the highest point nearby and can see the surroundings in 360 degrees.
3. The Martyrs' Monument and Sculptures are large in scale. The martyrs' sculptures are surrounded by tall trees, which are solemn and dignified.
The scenic area is lush with trees, and it's nice to take a walk here.
Yuhuatai is the place where the martyrs of the New Democratic Revolution died. As many as 100,000 communists and revolutionary masses died here. You need to bring your ID card to enter the Yuhuatai, and you can directly swipe your ID card to enter the museum. Given my limited knowledge, I have rarely heard of the martyrs inside.
Yuhuatai is located in the middle of Yuhuatai Hill, 1 km south of Nanjing. It is the place where the most Chinese Communists and patriots died. Countless martyrs died here, of which only 2,401 left their names. Yuhuatai includes the Memorial Hall, the Loyal Soul Pavilion, and the Martyrs Memorial Hall.
The central axis is to commemorate the martyrs. On one side is a display of Yuhua tea, and on the other side is a display of Yuhua stone. To the north are some cultural landscapes, such as the Qianlong Imperial Stele, which are quite nice. I went to Fang Xiaoru's tomb in the north at 5-6 pm. There was no one else except me, and it was not dark, but I was really a little scared. I don't understand why no one comes to such a good attraction.
Yuhuatai, located about 1 km south of Zhonghua Gate in the urban area, combines natural scenery and cultural landscape. It is not only a place where scholars and poets of all ages compete to chant, but also a memorial site for the New Democratic Revolution. The entire scenic area is divided into six areas: Martyrs Cemetery Area, Scenic Spots and Historical Sites Area, Recreation Area, Yuhua Stone Culture Area, Yuhua Tea Culture Area and Ecological Forest Area.
Yuhuatai is located in the middle of Yuhuatai Hill, 1 km south of Nanjing, with an area of 113 hectares. It is a memorial site for China's new democratic revolution. Since the period of the new democratic revolution, it has become the most concentrated martyrdom place for Chinese Communists and patriots. Countless martyrs fell in the pool of blood, of which only 2,401 left their names. Nanjing Yuhuatai is a unique memorial scenic spot in China, relying on natural mountains and forests, with red tourism as the main body, integrating natural scenery and cultural landscape. It has many attractions such as the Second Spring of Jiangnan, the Monument Gallery, the Loyal Soul Pavilion, and the Martyrs Memorial Hall. It integrates education, tourism, leisure, and entertainment. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit, a patriotic education demonstration base, the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist areas, and one of the hundred red tourism classic scenic spots.
Due to time constraints, we had to return to Ningbo at noon, so we only toured a small part of the area before returning. The scenery was great, the area was spacious, and it was suitable for leisure and sports.
The solemn and dignified Yuhuatai Scenic Area allows us to understand the revolutionary martyrs, their heroic deeds, and understand how hard it was to build New China.
Yuhuatai is located in the south of Zhonghuamen in Nanjing. It consists of three beautiful hills surrounded by pine and cypress trees. It is a red tourist attraction in Nanjing.
The entire scenic area is divided into six major areas: the Martyrs Cemetery Area, the Scenic Spots and Historical Sites Area, the Yuhua Stone Culture Area, the Yuhua Tea Culture Area, the Recreation and Activity Area, and the Ecological Forest Area.
In the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall and the Martyrs' Deeds Exhibition Hall, many of the soldiers' books, manuscripts, clothes, and writing tools are displayed.
The park is lush and green, and is not only a tourist attraction, but also a place for leisure and entertainment for Nanjing citizens.
You can drive up the mountain without tickets and pay the parking fee when you enter the gate. There are many small attractions. The four seats on the screen wall in front of Koza Temple are quite special.
From Mingfa Square, you can take the subway directly to Yuhuatai, get off at Zhonghuamen Station, and come to the North Gate. I bought Yuhua Stone at the small shop at the gate for 20 yuan, which I think is more affordable than online shopping. The sightseeing bus is 10 yuan, and I chose to walk slowly and came to the monument to the sacrificed public security soldiers and the monument to the martyrs of Yuhuatai.
We also discovered a Yuhua tea processing demonstration base. Overall, Yuhuatai is quite beautiful and worth a visit.
Yuhuatai is a free attraction, but there are tour buses, which cost 20 yuan per person. You can listen to the introduction while riding the bus. On the way, we passed a shop selling Yuhua stones and stopped for a while. Those Yuhua stones were very expensive. I bought a very small bottle for 39 yuan. I suggest not to buy them. They are sold everywhere in Nanjing attractions. I estimate that they are all fake. The small attractions outside are 10 yuan a bunch. Then I bought a small ticket to go to the Yuhua Stone Exhibition Hall to have a look. The ticket is 10 yuan per person. After entering and visiting, you can pick up Yuhua stones for free. In fact, what you pick up are just ordinary stones, but baby never gets tired of it.
Yuhuatai in winter and spring. It can be used as a park. It is better to go there in spring when the flowers are in bloom, and it is more poetic in winter when there is snow. You can go there at any other time.
I knew about Yuhuatai when I read extracurricular books when I was a child. When I came to Nanjing, I planned to visit Yuhuatai. Yuhuatai is really magnificent, and the green mountains are full of loyal bones. I admire the martyrs! How many people nowadays are willing to sacrifice their lives for their beliefs like them?
It's just a park with a martyrs' cemetery, and it's free.
I got up early in the morning, put on my slippers, got on a Mobike, and rode slowly to the park gate. I saw many local residents going in, and I also went in while doing stretching exercises. I don’t know if tickets are required during normal times. Yuhuatai Scenic Area is a unique national memorial scenic area that relies on natural mountains and forests, takes red tourism as its main body, and integrates natural scenery and cultural landscapes.
A famous scenic spot in Nanjing, it is well-known for its historical records. Yuhuatai Scenic Area is also known as Yuhuatai Scenic Spot, or Yuhuatai for short. It is located 1 km outside Zhonghua Gate in Yuhuatai District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province, with an area of 153.7 hectares and a green coverage rate of more than 90%. It is a unique national memorial scenic spot that relies on natural mountains and forests, takes red tourism as the main body, and integrates natural scenery and cultural landscapes.
It’s not far from the Zhonghuamen subway station to the North Gate, and there are many buses to the South Gate.
Private cars can drive in by paying a fee, or you can choose an electric car for 20 yuan per person, which allows you to tour the entire park as many times as you want and comes with explanations, which is very convenient.
In everyone's concept, Yuhuatai is a place to commemorate revolutionary martyrs. In fact, Yuhuatai is very large and has many scenic spots. There are blooming flowers in spring and red leaves in autumn. It is still very beautiful. It is definitely worth a visit, and it is free.
It consists of six functional areas: scenic spots and historical sites area, martyrs' cemetery area, Yuhua stone cultural area, Yuhua tea cultural area, recreational activity area and ecological dense forest area.
Scenic spots: Yuhuatai Martyrs Cemetery, Yuhua Pavilion, Gaozuo Temple, Ganlu Well, Ganlu Well Pavilion, Erzhong Temple, Qianlong Imperial Stele Pavilion, Li Jie's Tomb, Ming Eunuch Yihui Stele, the place where Yang Bangyi's heart was cut open, Fang Xiaoru's Tomb, Mumo Pavilion, the joint tomb of the 1911 Revolutionaries, Muxiang Garden, Xiyuan, Yiyuan, Meigang, Yuhua Stone Museum, Jiangsu National Security Education Exhibition Hall and more than 20 other places of interest and historical sites as well as pavilions and towers.
During the National Day in 2016, I went on a spontaneous trip. There were a lot of people at the tourist attractions, but luckily I got up early and went to the oxygen bar.
It is close to the South Railway Station. I saw that I had enough time, so I temporarily added this attraction. It was already late when I went there. I walked around the garden and felt that it was a large natural oxygen bar. It was very comfortable to walk around. Most of the places on the central axis of Yuhuatai are places to commemorate martyrs. To the east are the ancient buildings of Yuhuatai, Yuhua Pavilion, Erzhong Temple, Qianlong Imperial Stele, and a temple. It seems that this place has been a tourist attraction since ancient times.
It is not just a memorial to the martyrs, there are many allusions, which I only learned after I went there. Before that, I only knew that it was a memorial to the martyrs. There are many historical sites here that you can visit and learn about. So if you drive, you can see them all, but if you walk, it will be very tiring. There are actually a lot of things to see in the entire scenic area, but it is relatively scattered, and it is also far from the city, so it will take most of the day.
I have heard about the story of Yuhua Stone and Yuhua Terrace since I was a child, so I still need to come and pay tribute to them when I go to Nanjing. It is a large green park with memorial buildings in the center. There is an eternal flame under the highest point of the Martyrs' Monument, and a line of words is written on the nameplate in front: "We and our descendants will come here often..." Hmm! There are also many white pigeons.
In addition to being a holy place for revolutionary education, the scenery is also very beautiful. This is especially true in autumn when the sweet-scented osmanthus is fragrant!
Yuhuatai is also free of charge~~ It is quite large~~ Because we were in a hurry to catch the train, we didn’t walk all the way here~~
I just passed by the entrance of Yuhuatai and didn't enter the scenic area.
The Patriotism Education Base is divided into 5 major functional blocks. In addition to the Hero Monument in the elementary school textbooks, there are also Yuhua Tea Culture, amusement parks, live CS, etc. It is a free attraction with a large green coverage area and good air.
Yuhuatai is a memorial site for China's new democratic revolution and the place where revolutionary martyrs died. More than 100,000 communists and revolutionary masses died here. After the founding of New China, the Party and the government decided to build the Yuhuatai Martyrs Cemetery here. The memorial hall is solemn and dignified, and there is a sense of oppression. Even the cherry blossoms in the park are more beautiful than anywhere else, but behind that beauty is blood.
Yuhuatai is a martyrs' cemetery, so there is not much scenery to see, but as one of the symbols of Nanjing, it is still worth a visit. It is not recommended to go to the Yuhua Stone Museum, which is a rip-off. It says that you can pick up the Yuhua stones inside, but the stones in the pond are actually ordinary pebbles (you can grab a handful of small stones in the store with your hands for ten yuan, although I don't know if they are real Yuhua stones). You can spend 7 yuan to go to the ancient Yuhuatai to see the scenery. It is recommended to take the small sightseeing car at the gate of Yuhuatai to visit the scenic area roughly, and then choose your favorite point to see.
A place worth visiting, a good base for patriotism education.
The red leaves of the Japanese maple and the late cherry blossoms outside are very beautiful in spring.
It's embarrassing to say that the Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall is under renovation this time, so I didn't go in, but I liked the appearance very much. I also saw the statues in the textbooks.
The Six Dynasties' Rain Flower condenses the charm of heaven and earth, and a piece of history casts a sacred platform for eternity
In the morning, I went to Jiming Temple, Nanjing City Wall, Xuanwu Lake Park, and then rode a Mobike to Yuhuatai. When I entered the park from the north gate, I saw the sculpture of martyrs in front of me, which was very spectacular. I walked towards the south gate, and there were the Martyrs Monument and the Martyrs Memorial Hall. The memorial hall is under renovation and is not open. There are many peace doves on the monument square, and I met some children from a middle school in Nanchang. The overall feeling was okay. There were also things related to Yuhua tea, but I was not very interested and did not go to see them.
Yuhuatai is a unique memorial scenic spot in the country that takes red tourism as its main body and integrates natural scenery and cultural landscape.
It is a large scenic spot in the south of the city, which is mainly composed of the Yuhuatai Cemetery. It is the place where the Communists arrested by the authorities during the Republic of China were killed. It is now opened as a memorial hall.
Here you can go down to the river to pick up Yuhua stones by yourself, which is quite easy.
The scenic area is very large and not crowded. It is recommended to take a car. Cherish the present.
A leisure park for local citizens. Yuhuatai pays tribute to the martyrs, the air is quite fresh.
The first stop after arriving in Nanjing is Yuhuatai. You can reach Yuhuatai by bike or on foot from Zhonghuamen subway station. Follow the road to the Martyrs' Monument, climb the stairs and pay tribute to those immortal national heroes. There are peace doves on the square, which is just a symbol. The peace that the heroes longed for has finally come. Many naughty children climbed directly onto the monument. I don't know what their parents think. They seem so low-quality in such a solemn occasion. I am speechless.
The Redism Education Base is a very suitable spot for learning about the hard struggle history of the Communist Party members. Free admission
Yuhuatai Revolutionary Holy Land, where there are many revolutionary stories
Because I got off the high-speed train at Nanjing South Station, I took the subway directly to the nearest Yuhuatai. Overall, it is similar to Qingdao's Zhongshan Park, with historical sites, amusement parks and entertainment areas, but ultimately it is a place to commemorate martyrs. It always feels too fancy. From Yuhua Pavilion you can see the entire panoramic view of Nanjing, and the environment is really good. If you have enough physical strength, it is recommended to tour on foot.
The park is very beautiful in spring. It is very large and full of flowers. There are also monuments and memorials, and no entrance fee is charged.
It was raining quite heavily when I went there. I always felt the atmosphere was very depressing.
I go to Yuhuatai for a morning run, and there are people dancing and boxing in the square in the woods where birds are walked, which is full of life.
Yuhuatai Scenic Area has three gates, East Gate, West Gate and North Gate, of which the North Gate is the main gate. The green coverage rate of the scenic area is over 90%, relying on natural mountains and forests, focusing on red tourism, integrating natural scenery and cultural landscape. Many old men and women do morning exercises in it, the greenery is very good, and it is also very good to wash the lungs in it.
Yuhuatai is a natural oxygen bar with a tree coverage rate of over 90%. It is a must-visit place in Nanjing for sightseeing and red education. You can take a battery car to go around, listen to the explanation, and then walk around and have a look. Cars can also drive in. It would be better if you can ride a bicycle inside, which would feel safer. It would be better if motor vehicles were not allowed to drive in.
Yuhuatai Scenic Area is also known as Yuhuatai Scenic Spot, or Yuhuatai for short. In the Ming and Qing dynasties, "Yuhua Shuo" and "The Wind Rises at the End of the Tree" in the scenic area were listed as one of the "Eighteen Scenic Spots of Jinling".
Yuhuatai is a sacred place for the Chinese New Democratic Revolution. It is the place where revolutionary martyrs died. As many as 100,000 Communists and revolutionary masses died here. After the founding of New China, the Party and the government decided to build the Yuhuatai Martyrs Cemetery here.
There are very few people at Yuhuatai, which is also very appropriate for the occasion.

The solemn and majestic Yuhuatai is the symbol of Nanjing.
Yuhuatai is located in the south of Zhonghua Gate in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is a beautiful hill surrounded by pines and cypresses, about 100 meters high and 3.5 kilometers long. The top is a platform, consisting of three hills. Since Taibo came to this area in 1147 BC to teach farming, Yuhuatai has a history of more than 3,000 years.
