When I learned that "Summer Solstice" was filmed here

I am looking forward to seeing the beauty here.

An ancient town with ancient charm

Unique local customs

Overall it's pretty good

I didn't go to various memorials.

I didn't buy a ticket.

Compared with the bustling metropolis

It's so different here

I like this kind of quietness

Like this kind of tranquility

The entrance to Jinxi is rather strange. It feels like walking from a commercial street to an outdoor paradise. After parking the car, there is a row of shops with various fish and shrimps drying outside. The shops sell some tourist souvenirs and there is a small shop that rents clothes for taking photos. It makes you feel like a closed town with unknown lines. The road is filled with the stench of fish and shrimps.

When you get closer, you will pass a waterway. On the left is a long corridor, and on the right you can see boats rowing on the water. Boat girls wearing headscarves shuttle on the water, and your mood suddenly becomes better.

Jinxi Ancient Town covers a relatively large area, so there are many places to visit. There are many cultural landscapes, historical sites and countless buildings with unique Ming and Qing characteristics. Walking through them is very charming. Jinxi has some specialties that you can try, such as socks cakes, river clams, etc. Jinxi is convenient for food and accommodation, and the prices are also moderate. The outskirts of the ancient town are equivalent to the new town, with a lot of food. There are youth hostels and hotels in the ancient town, and accommodation is also very convenient.

Jinxi Ancient Town is located in the southwest of Kunshan. It has a long history and many cultural landscapes and historical sites. Tongshen Imperial Courtyard, Chen Fei's Water Tomb, Wenchang Pavilion, Tianshui Bridge, Lianchi Zen Temple, etc. are all very famous, and several museums are also very interesting.

By JT |

You can also go and see the scenery of the Jiangnan water town.

By Meeting Qingqiu |

The scenery is nice and there is no entrance fee, but it is a bit small

By fincen |

Compared to the bustle of Zhouzhuang Tongli, Jinxi is much quieter. Although it is not as famous as the six ancient towns, its water town style is not inferior at all.

By Long lock |

Jinxi Ancient Town is quite nice. It is very big and has not been fully developed yet, so it is well preserved.

By Wang Da Ge Private Kitchen |

Passing by Jinxi, I went to the so-called ancient town. The lobby at the entrance has a bit of the flavor of a scenic spot, but there is basically nothing to see inside. I personally feel that there is no need to come here specially. Just relax and treat it as a small commodity market and farmer's market in your spare time. Dried river shrimps are relatively cheap at 45 yuan per pound, but the poached chicken is particularly unpalatable. Jiangsu's tourist attractions should learn from Zhejiang's. The gap is too big!

Jinxi Ancient Town - the hometown of Chinese folk museums.

By Swirling Water |

Located near Zhouzhuang, it is a relatively fresh ancient town. The ancient lotus causeway and the lotus pond Zen temple are particularly charming and well worth a visit.

By King of Kings |

Chen Fei, the favorite concubine of Emperor Xiaozong of Song Dynasty, was buried here. There is a ten-eye long bridge that is not found in other ancient towns. Compared with other ancient towns, there are really few people here. The scenery as soon as you enter the gate is still very beautiful. It is more commercialized as you go inside.

Tickets: Free (not included in the museum)

Parking: 10 yuan, there are many free parking spaces at the door

By Liu Zhudian |

There is a direct bus from Suzhou by public transportation, but I couldn't find the pick-up point when I came back. It was a bit tortuous, and the accommodation was also a bit tortuous. It took a long time, which resulted in no mood for sightseeing and no time to go around, so I won't comment.

Thinking that there will be a lot of people during the National Day, the more popular the attractions, the more people there will be, so I just walked around Kunshan

Jinxi, I've often heard of it before. I went there with the intention of killing time, but I was surprised... Compared with the National Day, there were not many people in the ancient town, and the things sold there were not expensive. I never like to buy things in scenic spots, but this time, I bought a lot of food and drinks, a scarf, a skirt, well, the prices were very affordable.

As for the scenery, I won’t say much, just the pictures (without filters). Although the scenery in the ancient town is similar, it is still worth it without tickets, and the people are very friendly. They will greet you when they see you taking pictures. By the way, there is also a coffee shop run by two young ladies. I forgot to take a picture of the name of the shop. It only costs ten yuan to order a cup of coffee. You can sit down and enjoy it slowly while watching the scenery. You can also use electricity and Wi-Fi, read for free, etc…

There are many ancient towns in Jiangnan, with small bridges and flowing water, quiet and cultural atmosphere. The ancient towns I visited when I was a child still had a strong atmosphere of life. Now, they are all developed to make money, and there was no entrance fee. Now they are blocked and charge a fee. The specialties sold are also similar. You don’t need to go to other towns after visiting one. Jinxi Ancient Town is not big. You can pay 10 yuan per person to find a local to open the back door to enter. It is really not worth the ticket of more than 60 yuan. It is still good to visit it. When there are fewer people, it feels no worse than Zhouzhuang.

By A fun and easy life |

If you can choose a place to spend your retirement when you retire, then you can choose Jinxi! Here you can find both the small bridges and flowing waters of Jiangnan and a long cultural heritage. Choose a town to spend your retirement! This is Jinxi!

By Playing around |

There are not many tourists and there are many museums in the ancient town, so you can have a great time during the two-day weekend.

Jinxi, formerly known as Chenmu, is located in the southwest corner of Kunshan City. It has been famous for more than 2,000 years. According to legend, when the Southern Song Dynasty established its capital in Lin'an, Song Xiaozong's favorite concubine Chen Fei loved the scenery of Jinxi and could not bear to leave. After her death, she was buried here. Jinxi was renamed Chenmu for more than 800 years until it was restored to its ancient name in 1993. It can be reached by taking bus No. 133 from Kunshan South High-speed Railway Station.

The second time I came, there were a lot more people, and the lotus at the door was a type that would not bloom.

By Miss Grape |

Compared to other ancient towns I have visited, Jinxi is probably the least popular one. To be honest, I didn’t have much hope before coming to Jinxi, but when I saw Jinxi for the first time, it is not an exaggeration to describe it as stunning. It has the tranquility and serenity of an ancient town, and the breath of life revealed in the ancient charm. The people who live here really are the best interpretation of “choosing a town to live in for the rest of your life.”

I was passing Jinxi with my friend on my way back to Shanghai from Bacheng, and was attracted by the scenery at the entrance. I bought a ticket and went in for a walk. The children in the same group had a lot of fun. The scenery was nice, but the ticket was a little expensive!

By Whatever you encounter |

Jinxi Town is located in Kunshan City, adjacent to Shanghai in the east and Suzhou in the west. It is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Folk Museums". Jinxi has a history of more than 2,000 years.

Jinxi Town is located between Dianshan Lake and Chenghu Lake, and has dozens of large and small lakes.

Although Jinxi Ancient Town is small and ordinary, it has everything you need, including arch bridges, covered bridges, pavilions, Zen temples, river ports, water docks, and houses along the shore. You can also pay to go on a boat and take photos with cormorants.

By Poetry |

The bridge is the most impressive.

By Xu Gongzi's Nest |

The small shop at the entrance of the village. This old and shabby shop has an inexplicable attraction to me. Perhaps when I was a child, I loved snacks and would lean outside such a square window, tiptoeing, stretching out my little arms to pass over the banknotes, and timidly asking for the candy I wanted to eat... The covered bridge here is probably the most distinctive landscape in Jinxi. When we went there, the entrance to the bridge was closed, so we could only watch from a distance, which was also beautiful.

By Jenny |

An ancient town very close to Shanghai, not big, the scenery at the entrance is good, and the Lotus Pond Temple is also next to it, forming a very beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, the Ten-Eyed Bridge can only be viewed from a distance and cannot be climbed. There are many black-sailed boats parked by the river at the entrance. The package ticket for the creek includes all the attractions, Zhang Sheng Art Museum, Hu Culture Museum, Ancient Brick and Tile Museum, etc. Some of the museums are worth seeing.

I asked a friend, and found out that she worked in an ancient town called Jinxi. I thought that I had to go with her when I was away, so I just went to Jinxi. So I came to this ancient town which couldn't be more low-key.

I stayed in this small ancient town for two days. When I first arrived at the inn, the owner confirmed the information with me and asked me in surprise, "Did you book for two days?" Haha, maybe there are really few people staying here. It takes less than half a day to walk around the whole town. But after staying here for two days, I really felt the atmosphere of the Jiangnan ancient town, which is comfortable and peaceful. The people are also very simple. I also selfishly hope that this town will not be too famous in the future. The fewer people know about it, the better. Let it keep a low profile.

Visited Jinxi on March 6, 2018.

After driving to Jinxi, first find a parking lot at the north entrance of the town. Parking here is free.

Going from north to south along Wenchang Road, after crossing the first small river, you will see a bridge on each side. The one on the east side is the "Longfu Bridge" (first built in the fourth year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty), and the one on the west side is the "Juqing Bridge" (first built in the first year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty). Going south to the end of the road is Chenmudang (also known as Wubao Lake) with the "Chen Fei Water Tomb". Turn west here and enter the ancient town through the "Water Village Buddhist Kingdom" archway.

Like Qiandeng Ancient Town, Jinxi Ancient Town does not require a ticket if you only visit the ancient town; if you want to visit the attractions in the ancient town at the same time, there are 65 yuan full tickets and 20 yuan tickets for any four attractions of your choice.

The first thing you see when you enter the scenic area is Jinxi's famous ancient lotus embankment, then pass the Lotus Pond Zen Temple, walk along the "Panting Bridge" and "Jieshou Bridge" (built in the third year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty), and turn north to enter the ancient town.

Before entering Shangtang Street, walk westward to Santu Street. On the Santu River, there is the Lihe Bridge, the stone arch bridge with the largest span and the highest height in Jinxi (also known as Nantang Bridge and Nanguanyin Bridge, which was built in the third year of Jianyan in the Southern Song Dynasty, i.e. 1129).

Afterwards, return to Shangtang Street to see the "Chenmu Post Office", and then pass the "Puqing Bridge" (built in the seventh year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty). To the west of the street is the "Yishun Hall" Ding House, which was built during the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. It has five courtyards, a well-preserved brick-carved gatehouse and wooden carved beams.

Continue north from Dingzhai, passing several folk museums on the way, but most of them are closed for renovation for unknown reasons. After crossing the "Zhong'an Bridge" (first built in the seventh year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty), there is a cross estuary. The bridge spanning north and south is the "Jinxi Zhonghe Double Bridge" (composed of the original Jinxi Bridge and Zhonghe Bridge). Along the Jinxi Street corridor along the river to the west is the "Taiping Bridge" (first built in the first year of Taiping in the Northern Song Dynasty, that is, 976); to the east of the estuary is the "Huanggong Bridge" (covered bridge) and the "Qinglong Bridge" (first built in the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty).

Continue north along Shangtang Street, passing the "Zhougong Bridge" (built in the ninth year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty) and the "Puji Bridge" (built in the second year of the Hongzhi reign of the Ming Dynasty), and you will reach the archway at the end of this cultural street; several places that were originally labeled with the word "museum" are now under reconstruction, and it is not known whether they are being renovated or converted to other uses.

Go north from the memorial archway to another section of pristine scenery. First, you will cross a "redwood bridge" (first built in the 30th year of Emperor Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty), then the "Lize Bridge" (first built in the fifth year of Emperor Yongle's reign in the Ming Dynasty, i.e. 1407) and the "Tianshui Bridge" (also known as the North Guanyin Bridge, also first built in the fifth year of Emperor Yongle's reign in the Ming Dynasty) that form a "品" shape. Here, we found an old cultural relic "Chenmu District Office" that was not well maintained. From here, go east along Tianshui Street to the Juqing Bridge that we saw when we came here.

On the return trip, we went south along Xiatang Street on the east bank of the river and visited the "Maruo Zen House" near Puqing Bridge, which exhibited very distinctive clay sculptures.

The last stop is to cross the "Shiyan Bridge" (first built during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty) in Zhennan to pay homage to Chen Fei's water tomb.

Jinxi Ancient Town is not very big in general, or it is very small. It takes half a day to walk through a few small streets. There are not many people on non-holidays, so it is quite interesting to walk around and try some local snacks.

Jinxi Ancient Town restores the original quiet and elegant impression of the Jiangnan water town

By Wu is unique |

I really like the ancient town of Jinxi, which is really far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is very quiet and special. Maybe it was because I went there in the first month of the lunar year, so there were few people. Walking here, I felt very quiet. Love it!

Because of a bridge, I wanted to visit an ancient town. The water surface is not as big as I imagined, and the weather is not good, so it is surprisingly beautiful in the photo. The town is very small, more quaint than Zhouzhuang, and no tickets are required, so it is suitable for checking in

By Wood Tang Bird |

The water bridge at the entrance of the ancient town is the most beautiful place in the ancient town. The layout of the ancient town has not deviated from the stereotype of traditional water towns, but it is less crowded and quiet.

By Watching the clouds roll in and out |

Jinxi got its name from the river. The history records: "A river runs through the town, with peach and plum trees on both sides. The morning glow and evening light are all over the river, and the river is full of gold, shining like a brocade belt, so it got the name." The water lanes, river piers, arch bridges, arcades, Langfang, and streets have accumulated more than 2,000 years of history and culture, highlighting the charm of the water town, like a wonderful and moving painting. Shen Congwen compared her to "a girl in a dream", Feng Yingzi called her "light makeup or heavy makeup is always suitable", and Liu Haisu praised her as "the best in Jiangnan".

Jinxi is famous for its bridges - Jinxi is "a marshy town surrounded by water". There are so many ancient bridges in Jinxi that it is said to have "36 bridges". There are 26 ancient bridges preserved in the old town area of less than 1 square kilometer, a density rarely seen in the world. Most of the existing ones are Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings and are well preserved, with bridge pillars, couplets and inscriptions, forming Jinxi's unique "bridge culture".

It is said that the "36 bridges" in the ancient town were built by Liu Bowen, an important official in the Ming Dynasty, to "suppress dragons". Although this is just a legend, it is enough to make people feel the extraordinary and legendary Jinxi Bridge.

Water is the soul of Jinxi and bridges are the bones of Jinxi.

Golden waves and jade-like waves, ancient bridges shuttle back and forth. When touring the ancient town, only by understanding the bridges of Jinxi can you appreciate the original flavor of the "water paradise" -

Just like the timeless poem by Shen Zhou of the Ming Dynasty: "The creek bridge is surrounded by ancient trees, and the fishermen's songs are carried by the distant wind."

Just like Wen Zhengming's thought-provoking seven-character quatrain: "The setting sun makes poetic thoughts linger on the cold shore, where is the sound of the autumn wind? The water is flooding the reeds, and the emotion is not enough, white smoke rises under the Jinxi Bridge."

Just as Gao Qi was intoxicated by the Nantang Bridge and wrote the famous "Ancient Well and Wind Pavilion": "The water is cool under the Nantang Bridge, and the willows on the long embankment beside the bridge are green...."

By Call me for dinner |

I first got to know Jinxi because of a photo of the ancient lotus bridge. Jinxi is truly a hidden gem unknown to the world. There are no petty-bourgeois shops filling the streets, and no tourists coming and going on the streets. This is probably what I imagined an ancient water town to be like.

The ancient town with rivers and bridges is free to enter, but tickets are required to visit some indoor attractions. Don't pay attention to the guides who charge for the tour! A boat with 150 yuan can seat 6 people and takes about 30 minutes. You can experience the leisure of the water town. I first learned about Ba fish here. It is very delicious when braised. Children like it.

The ancient town with 2000 years of history is somewhat different from the surrounding Zhouzhuang and Qiandeng. It is not too commercialized. There are relatively few tourists. The people I met in the ancient town are very simple and kind. I will think of it as a place I will come again.

Jinxi Ancient Town is located in the southwest of Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, 17 kilometers away from Qiandeng Ancient Town. Jinxi, known as the "Hometown of Chinese Folk Museums", retains many cultural landscapes, historical sites and countless unique Ming and Qing Dynasty buildings. Choose a summer afternoon to experience the typical Jiangnan water town style of Jinxi, where rivers and lakes are connected, the town is surrounded by lakes, streets and alleys are connected by water, and bridges and alleys are connected. Try the local specialty socks and listen to the old man playing the flute leisurely, and then find a teahouse by the river to make a pot of tea and talk about the water town for two hours. Don't worry about being bored at all. The museum group headed by the Yixing Zisha Museum, the Antique Museum, and the Ancient Chinese Brick and Tile Museum will let you understand: China's historical and cultural town is not just a name.

Jinxi is a low-key ancient town. Although it is not large and has few attractions, the entrance fee is free if possible. It is undoubtedly a good place to relax during the noisy holidays. I went there during the Qingming Festival. At noon, it was not crowded. The cruise ship was very cheap. The auntie who rowed the boat could sing nice songs. There are no high-end hotels here, but the clean, spacious and cheap B&B will never let you down. The time spent in Jinxi feels very slow. You can sleep until you wake up naturally, have breakfast without rushing, play cards in the teahouse or post station, and wait for the time for the bus to arrive. In short, it is perfect and I still want to go again.

Many locals go to Jinxi Ancient Town, which is more suitable for self-driving tours. The transportation is not very convenient. The commercial atmosphere of Jinxi Ancient Town in the new town area is not too strong. The scenery of Jinxi should be more attractive in the evening and rain, and it is not so good under the sun. Especially at dusk, find a place to be in a daze leisurely. The location of Bibo Tower by the inner lake of Lianqiao is better. But Bibo Tower is now a restaurant. You have to go to eat to go up to the second floor of her house to overlook the panoramic view.

We drove there during the Spring Festival. We did our homework and decided not to buy tickets. But we had to buy tickets to enter the gate. Later, we saw on the Internet that we could enter without buying tickets. In fact, this kind of ancient town cannot be set up as a ticket-buying entrance. It will be more popular if you buy snacks and see the scenery. Those who come from afar can choose to stay on the small street. There are youth hostels, which is very convenient.

Jinxi is undoubtedly the most likable.

Jinxi, a water town, has a history of more than 2,000 years.

It was once renamed "Chen's Tomb" because Concubine Chen died here.

More than 2,000 years of history,

Let Jinxi, an ancient town, be located in the south of the Yangtze River without panic.

The vicissitudes of history have left behind only indifference and tranquility.

The river is winding and green like a jade belt, and the people living along the riverside live by the river.

There are many bridges and water, so it is known as the "Thirty-six Bridges".

Zhang Yimou's movie "Raise the Red Lantern" was filmed here.

Many famous people in history also chose to live here for a long time.

Whether it is Shen Congwen or Gu Kaizhi,

Jinxi is deeply imprinted with the footprints of literati and poets.

I was influenced by the character of literati.

It is precisely because of the profound cultural heritage that

This place is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Folk Museums".

I met Jinxi by chance. That day, when searching for ancient towns suitable for visiting around Shanghai, among many ancient towns such as Wuzhen, Zhouzhuang, Xitang, Tongli, Luzhi, Qiandeng, Jinxi, etc., I was attracted by the "Ten-Li Ancient Dyke" in Jinxi Ancient Town at first sight. Under the warm sunshine, I strolled along the corridor and walked into Jinxi, with the spring breeze blowing on my face. I sat by the bridge pier to rest, daydream, listen to music, and watch the ripples on the water, as if telling the story of time and the changes of Jinxi's years... In March, the water town style. The stone bridge, flowing water, small boats, flowers, green willows, people... formed a soft and beautiful Jiangnan ink painting, so quiet and so original. At this moment, empty yourself and have a spiritual baptism, so that this trip will be worthwhile.

By one day |

Jinxi, when I first heard the name, I thought it was so beautiful, like the maiden name of a gentle girl from the south of the Yangtze River, so I left the second ancient town to her. Sure enough, Jinxi is as beautiful as her name.

I have walked across bridges in many places, seen clouds many times, and drunk many kinds of wine, but I can never forget her.

I have been to Jinxi more than once, and the time I want to go there most is when it snows for the first time. However, it is really difficult for it to snow in Suzhou, and when it snows, it is only a thin layer.

I wonder if you still remember the articles by Zhang Dai that we learned in junior high school.

"Watching the Snow at the Pavilion on the Lake" is one of my favorite articles. I still remember the description in it vividly. Although the author was talking about West Lake, I feel that the same should be said for Jinxi.

"That day, at midnight, I took a small boat, wrapped myself in furs and a stove, and went to the pavilion in the middle of the lake to watch the snow. The sky, clouds, mountains, and water were all white. The only shadows on the lake were the long embankment, the pavilion in the middle of the lake, my boat, and two or three people in the boat."

What makes Jinxi different from other ancient towns is its unique geographical advantage. It is located next to the Dianshan Lake with abundant water and grass. Imagine an ancient town that has been settled for many years, with a lake, a pavilion and an island. Isn't it too beautiful? Jinxi is located in Kunshan City, Suzhou.

When you come to Jinxi, I strongly recommend taking a boat, which is not expensive and has beautiful scenery. Jinxi is not a very commercial ancient town, unlike Zhouzhuang, which relies on tourism. Therefore, there is no entrance fee when there are not many people.

Jinxi seems to be a lost pearl. I don’t know how the six ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River are ranked, but I feel a little disappointed that Jinxi is not among them, because it is really beautiful, with charm in all seasons. Maybe in the future more and more people will know about this place and come to travel, and it will gradually become commercial and noisy, but I still have a small hope in my heart that it can be independent even in the bustling crowd.

The ancient bridge corridors of Jinxi Ancient Town stand quietly by the water, and the small bridges, flowing water and houses in the Jiangnan water town are all unique.

Jinxi is not a big place, half a day is enough.

I think if you can enter from the small road before 7 o'clock, you can save the ticket. The ticket price of 65 yuan is a bit expensive

The water lanes, riverside piers, arch bridges, arcades, corridors and streets, which have accumulated over 2,000 years of history and culture, are like a breathtaking and wonderful painting. Shen Congwen compared her to a "sleeping girl", Feng Yingzi called her "light or heavy makeup always suitable", and Liu Haisu praised her as "the best in Jiangnan".

A place that you can love just by its name. A place that is more about life than business. Bring a few friends and spend some leisure time.

Jinxi is an ancient water town near Zhouzhuang, formerly known as Chenmu. Although it is not as well-known as Zhouzhuang, I think it is also quite charming, with beautiful ancient lotus corridor and picturesque scenery.

It's a great ancient water town, worthy of being a thousand-year-old town. There aren't so many people and not so much commercial atmosphere. After a morning stroll and a good lunch, having a cup of Pu'er tea is so pleasant!

Brilliant as a brocade belt, the river is full of gold - this is Jinxi

If you don't visit the museum, you don't have to buy a ticket. Overall, it's still a great ancient town.

Jinxi Causeway, I came here because I saw this photo by accident, and I was not disappointed. Jinxi is prosperous, and to appreciate its beauty, you need to feel it quietly. Unfortunately, time was tight, so I only visited for half a day, but I saw the causeway, which was enough.

At the entrance of the ancient town, the ancient Lotus Bridge came into view and attracted me at once.

Imagine the scenery will be more beautiful when the lotus flowers are in full bloom in summer. Summer is definitely coming.

Next year, the ancient lotus bridge will be waiting for me

Jinxi Ancient Town may not be that famous, and it is also very small. However, except for one or two streets at the entrance, other streets are not very commercialized. The aboriginals live there and live their own lives quietly. The transportation in the ancient town is actually quite convenient. Most tourists only go there for a day. But I think it is also very good to stay there for a few days. There are not many restaurants in the town that can accommodate guests, and it is very quiet at night.

Wait until the lotus flowers bloom in summer, it should be beautiful~

On the third day, we drove to Jinxi and stayed overnight in Zhouzhuang. Reminder, reminder! You don’t need to buy tickets for both places!

Jinxi is known as the most beautiful water town, but in fact, there is only the Ten-Arch Bridge at the entrance to see. This scene is also beautiful against the backdrop of the green lotus sky in summer.

Ancient towns allow us to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city, the worries of work, and leave behind all the mundane things. I like the ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River, and Long Qi likes the leisurely and quiet cultural atmosphere that permeates the ancient towns...

There are too many ancient towns in Jiangsu. Jinxi has a relatively large water surface area. The Shiyan Changqiao is more beautiful. Most importantly, there is no entrance fee. Stinky tofu is popular all over the country. You can't tell the difference when you taste it. Haha

I walked slowly through an ancient town, with lingering smoke from cooking fires and deep alleys. The ancient atmosphere and the atmosphere of calligraphy and painting by the river really fascinated me.

Jinxi, the style of Jiangnan, boating on the lake, sparkling, quiet and peaceful, I really like this place

You need to buy a ticket to Jinxi, but you can ask a local to take you in and pay her 10-20 yuan.

Jinxi has a small town style. Although it is not as famous, the taste is no less good. Jinxi, we will see you again.

I visited the entire Jinxi twice. The water lanes, riverside piers, arch bridges, arcades, corridors, and streets, the charm of the water town that has been highlighted after more than 2,000 years of historical changes, is like a breathtaking and wonderful painting.

Jinxi in winter can make people calm down and feel inexplicably peaceful and tranquil. When you enter Jinxi Ancient Town, you will be greeted by a vast lake. This is Wubao Lake, the mother river of Jinxi. On the curved stone ridge beside the lake stands a stone archway with four pairs of stone lions on both sides. The archway is engraved with the inscription "Water Village, Buddhist Kingdom". Below is a long couplet: A careful appreciation can reflect the water village scenery, the long history and culture and the rich reading atmosphere of Jinxi!

The trip was over in less than 20 minutes. I felt particularly relaxed while admiring the surrounding scenery and listening to the folk songs sung by the boat girl for us (we had to tip her 1-2 yuan for singing).

By Huang Waiting |

It is quite quiet and suitable for literary youth like us. As soon as you enter, you will see the black-sailed boats and the singing sisters waiting for tourists. With a small boat and a light sail, you can see the whole Jinxi.

Jinxi Ancient Town is located in Kunshan. You can take bus No. 130 from the New Passenger Station to get there. The terminus of bus No. 130 is Zhouzhuang!

By Crazy in the rain |

Relatively speaking, it is less commercialized, but it no longer has the feeling of an ancient town, because it is very close to Zhouzhuang and is a place you can visit on the way there.
