Worship Buddha and listen to auspicious chants at Lingshan
💫Tickets
The scenic area has a 385 double ticket for Lingshan Buddha Tmall store
You can enter the park by swiping the ID card of the ticket holder
💫Transportation
The transportation is much more convenient than Nianhua Bay.
After all, many bus stops in the city are Lingshan scenic spots.
You must buy a tour bus ticket to enter the park
It is very convenient to take unlimited rides to various attractions
Frequent flights, good service attitude
💫Dining
There are many places to eat in the scenic area.
There are vegetarian dishes of various grades in the Brahma Palace.
There is a stop on the tour bus route called Lingshan Vegetarian Restaurant, which is also a vegetarian restaurant.
We went to the Lingshan Giant Buddha Palace and the Jixiang Song performance, so we gave up other attractions.
Go straight to the Brahma Palace. The Brahma Palace cost a lot of money but the construction is very exquisite.
The square in front of the palace is very big and taking photos feels a bit like Thailand
You need to change into slippers when entering the Vatican Palace
The performance of Jixiang Song is worth seeing
When you enter the scenic area, there will be a scrolling screen to remind you of the time of each performance.
We arrived a little early.
I chose a cushion facing the stage and sat down to wait for the performance.
The performance began with an electronic screen introducing the history of Buddhism
Then the curtain will rise and the play will begin
The biggest feeling after watching it is impermanence
Everything is in a constant process of movement, change and development. Nothing is constant.
Only by accepting this impermanence can we have more confidence.
The second stop is to touch the Buddha's feet
Seeing the Buddha up close is quite different.
Although touching Buddha's feet is a good wish
I still think that things should be done in normal times.
Maybe Nian Gao is too rational.
During the tour, Nian Gao also drew lots and made wishes.
It's quite satisfying.
Leaving a foreshadowing:
The Buddha's Hand Ice Cream That I Was Not Able to Eat After Many Twists and Turns
Hope to go again in the future
✨I gained a lot and was visually shocked and impressed! The most impressive thing is the decoration inside the Brahma Palace. It is really shocking. The tall interior makes me look so small.
🚩PS: A few points to note
1~ There is a parking lot in Lingshan Scenic Area, right at the entrance of the scenic area, 20 yuan, payable upon entry.
2~We purchased tickets online and can directly scan our ID cards to enter the park.
3~ It is recommended to take the sightseeing bus in the park. There is a ticket office after entering the park. You can get on and off at each attraction with your ticket. It costs 30 yuan per person. As long as you do not leave the park, you can take it in a circle. There are many buses so it will not be too rushed and the pace can be slowed down.
4~Hold the legs of Lingshan Giant Buddha. After reaching the top, you need to take the elevator to the top of the pagoda. Only by taking the elevator can you reach the top of the pagoda. You need to queue up to take the elevator. The weather is hot and I was sweating profusely while waiting in the house. Fortunately, I brought a towel to wipe the sweat.
5~ There is the Jiulong Bathing attraction. During the fountain show, you can get water from the Jiulong dragon head. It is a bit superstitious and is what the announcement calls fairy water. You can get it in a bottle and it is up to you whether to drink it or not.
6~The most impressive thing is the decoration inside the Brahma Palace. You can take a look at it.
The best Buddha Light Illumination Scenic Spot in China, the most beautiful Chinese cultural charm tourist destination, the 20 most popular Yangtze River Delta World Expo theme experience tour demonstration sites, and the permanent venue of the World Buddhist Forum. Located on the shore of Taihu Lake in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, it covers an area of about 30 hectares and consists of Xiaoling Mountain, Xiangfu Zen Temple, Lingshan Giant Buddha, the No. 1 Palm in the World, Baizi Xi Maitreya, Buddhist Culture Expo Hall, Wanfo Hall and other attractions. It integrates lake and mountain scenery, garden squares, Buddhist culture and historical knowledge. It is the most complete and the only Buddhist cultural theme park in China that showcases the achievements of Sakyamuni.
The mountain scenery can be simply summarized as one mountain, one temple, and one Buddha. The long staircase leading to the foot of Lingshan Buddha is called "Dengyun Road". Dengyun Road has a total of 216 steps and seven platforms. Looking from the bottom up, you can only see the steps but not the platforms. Looking from the top down, you can only see the platforms but not the steps, which means "saving a life is better than building a seven-story pagoda." There are also Maitreya Hall, Three Saints Hall, magnificent Brahma Palace, Five Seals Mandala, etc. There are battery cars in the scenic area (30 yuan/person), which can be used multiple times, but the scenic area is not very large. Except for the 216 steps, it is relatively easy to walk.
Lingshan Buddha should be regarded as the iconic attraction of Wuxi. Many tour groups also like to come here to play. It is very large and takes a whole day. I have always been in awe of Fo Yutong. There are many small attractions with characteristics in the Lingshan Buddha scenic area, such as Maitreya with Hundred Children Playing, Hexagonal Well, Octagonal Well, Nine Dragons Bathing, Brahma Palace, Five Seals Mandala, World's No. 1 Palm, etc. Nine Dragons Bathing and Brahma Palace will leave a deep impression on people. When you go there, there is one thing you must do, which is to pray for Buddha's feet to ensure safety...
Tickets were purchased online one day in advance, 182 yuan per person, and it seems that the ticket price is 210 yuan if you buy it directly in the scenic area. The ticket price is not cheap, but it is said that the construction of the Brahma Palace alone in the scenic area cost 1.8 billion yuan. It can be said that every building in the scenic area is very exquisite and luxurious.
There are many group tourists in the scenic area, so it is easy to get a tour guide and follow his pace.
There are sightseeing buses in Lingshan Scenic Area. Personally, I think there is no need for people with enough physical strength to take it. The distance between the scenic spots is not far. I thought I would spend a whole day visiting Lingshan Scenic Area, but I finished it at around 1 o'clock.
Lingshan Giant Buddha is located on Xiaolingshan Mountain, south of Qinlu Peak, Mashan, Wuxi. It is adjacent to Taihu Lake in the south, so it is called the Pearl of Taihu Lake. Wuxi Lingshan Scenic Spot is located on the shore of the beautiful Taihu Lake. It is the most complete and the only Buddhist cultural theme scenic spot in China that showcases the achievements of Buddha Sakyamuni. The 88-meter-high Lingshan Giant Buddha stands shoulder to shoulder with the historical masterpieces of human civilization such as Leshan Giant Buddha, Yungang Giant Buddha, Longmen Giant Buddha, and Tiantan Giant Buddha. It is the world's tallest bronze statue created by the great power of the times. With its height, its size, its engineering difficulty, and its artistic magnificence, it has become a perfect work of the Five Directions and Five Buddhas pattern in China.
Lingshan Scenic Spot is a Feng Shui treasure land. The whole terrain is like a throne, with the Buddha sitting firmly on Mount Tai. According to the layout of Chinese Feng Shui, there is a green dragon on the left and a white tiger on the right, with a light in front and a back. The Lingshan Buddha is backed by Xiaolingshan Mountain to the north, Qinglong Mountain to the left and Baihu Mountain to the right. Standing on Qingfeng Mountain in the north and overlooking Taihu Lake in the south, the terrain is called "unmoved by the eight winds and sitting on the purple gold lotus" in Feng Shui theory, which is a very auspicious place.
Wuxi Lingshan Scenic Area is located at No. 1 Lingshan Road, Mashan Taihu National Tourism Resort. It is a large-scale Buddhist cultural theme park with a ticket price of 210 yuan. The four major landscapes that cannot be missed when visiting Lingshan Scenic Area are Lingshan Buddha, Nine Dragons Bathing, Lingshan Brahma Palace, and Muji Mandala. There are giant ancient trees in the scenic area, and tourists come to visit during holidays. Wuxi Lingshan Scenic Area is near CCTV Film and Television Base and Taihu Lake and other scenic spots. Transportation: Take Bus No. 88 or Bus No. 89 to get there.
Lingshan Scenic Area is located on the shore of Taihu Lake in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It consists of Xiaoling Mountain, Xiangfu Zen Temple, Lingshan Buddha and other scenic spots scattered in between. It can be simply summarized as one mountain, one temple and one Buddha. The main attractions of the scenic area include the 88-meter-high bronze Buddha statue - Lingshan Buddha, the magnificent Lingshan Brahma Palace, the Five Seals Mandala, and the wonderful performances of Nine Dragons Bathing and Lingshan Auspicious Song.
The scenic spot tickets were booked in advance on Ctrip, 466 for two adults and one child, and 105 per person for senior citizens. After entering the scenic area, we took a sightseeing bus for 40 yuan per person. I felt that the sightseeing bus was not particularly necessary. The most useful part was that it saved us from climbing the stairs to the foot of the Buddha. The rest of the journey was not far. We first took a bus to the vicinity of the Ashoka Pillar, visited the First Buddha's Hand and the Maitreya Playing with Hundred Children, watched the Nine Dragons Bathing Performance that started at 11:30, and then took a bus to Xingtan Square (in fact, Xingtan Square is separated from the Ashoka Pillar by a Xiangfu Zen Temple, so there is no need to take a bus). When we arrived at Xingtan Square, we needed to transfer to a small car and then go up the mountain. I felt that the arrangement of the sightseeing bus was very chaotic.
Bring your parents and children to relax, Lingshan Scenic Area is a must-visit
The Lingshan Giant Buddha is located between the mountains and waters of the Mashan National Scenic Area in Binhu District, Wuxi City, and is one of the world's famous attractions.
It's a super thrilling place, you will definitely regret it if you don't go there.
Rainy weather, Lingshan is a beautiful place with a more beautiful artistic conception. Coming to the land of Buddhism, I feel that I know very little about Buddhist culture. !
Lingshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area is also a famous scenic spot in Wuxi. The Buddha statue is very large and spectacular.
It's still worth a visit. The ticket price is 210/adult, which is quite expensive, but I wouldn't come to this kind of place a second time without any special reason.
The ticket price is high and parking is difficult. The highlights are the Vatican Palace and the Little Potala Palace. The buffet at the Vatican Palace is better than that at the vegetarian restaurant!
The scenic spot is OK, but the ticket price is too expensive, and it has no special features compared to other newly built Buddha statues, so I give it a bad review.
The Nine Dragons Bathing is very solemn and sacred. You can also drink the water of merit. I plan to come here every year in the future.
These are all modern attractions that have been built with heavy investment, so it's okay to take a look.
In fact, apart from the stunning Brahma Palace, the rest are just so-so. I really feel that the 210 ticket is not worth it. The ticket for Nanhai Guanyin is only over 100.
A must-visit attraction in Wuxi. Booking tickets online in advance can be nearly 80 yuan cheaper than buying them on site. It is strongly recommended to buy in advance. At the same time, Lingshan Shengjing Scenic Area is very large. If you want to have fun, remember to prepare snacks and water.
As soon as you enter the scenic area, you will encounter the Nine Dragons Bathing Performance, which tells the story of the birth of Sakyamuni. With the accompaniment of music, the lotus opens and closes, and the Prince Buddha slowly rises from it and rotates in the water curtain formed by the Nine Dragons' water spray.
It's really average, everyone should consider it carefully. It's better to climb the mountain.
Lingshan is the most expensive attraction I have ever visited, but the scenery represented by the Vajrapani Palace is definitely worth the price.
Building Buddha statues is a way for people to materialize their longing for good wishes, and people firmly believe that the bigger the Buddha statue is, the more likely it is to realize their dreams. The Buddha statues here are super large, so large that they can shock people from a distance. In life, the breadth of vision is recast in these shocks.
It is a place worth visiting. The Buddha is indeed spectacular and there are many Buddhist stories and legends. It is nice to slowly tour and appreciate the Buddhist culture here. Of course, don't forget to hug the Buddha's feet and pray for peace.
Lingshan Scenic Spot integrates beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains, gardens and squares, Buddhist culture and historical knowledge. It is the most complete Buddhist cultural theme park in China and the only one that showcases the achievements of Sakyamuni.
It is a good place to burn incense and pray. The Buddha is really big, but there is no need to buy the 30 yuan sightseeing bus. When there are many people, the waiting time in line is too long. It is better to walk. The distance between the various attractions is very close. We only took one stop. The 30 yuan sightseeing bus was a big loss. We almost walked the whole way.
If you go to this attraction early or late during holidays, there are really a lot of people. The parking management is quite chaotic. The parking fee is 30 yuan, which is quite a rip-off. It is more expensive than other attractions in the country. The scenery is all man-made. Since you are here, you can only walk around. When you leave the scenic area at 6 o'clock, the street lights and toilet lights are all turned off. Tourists have not left the park, and they all turn off the lights after get off work. The service is really poor.
You can enter by swiping the ticket after buying the ticket at the gate. When you buy the ticket, you will also get an admission ticket for the Jixiang Song, which is a performance in the Brahma Palace. This ticket is collected at the entrance, so there is no copy left.
I think I am a lazy person, especially after walking so much in the past six days. I saw that I must buy tickets for the scenic area's tour bus, so I went to buy it. This tour bus is really affordable. For 30 yuan, you can get on the bus at any station in the scenic area and go to the station you want to go to.
I didn't think much of it at first, I just bought it with the mentality that I would rather take a bus than walk. In the end, I was really glad that I bought it, because Lingshan's sightseeing bus system is really complete, they can handle the routes flexibly, basically I have taken so many times, and the routes are rarely the same. Specifically, they see where the people on the bus want to go, and they don't stop at every station rigidly, and reach the destination by the shortest route. There are staff standing at each station. If they see someone waiting at the station, they will use the intercom to adjust the bus, so the waiting time is not long.
When I went to Lingshan Buddha, the Brahma Palace had not caught fire yet. The Buddha was really big, and the performances in the Brahma Palace were also great. It is now a Buddhist tourist attraction. It is said that you can live in it and eat breakfast. The Nine Dragons Bathing Fountain was also seen. It was very well designed.
Before I went to Lingshan Giant Buddha, I was always confused about the relationship between Lingshan Scenic Spot, Lingshan Giant Buddha and Lingshan Nianha Town.
Lingshan Scenic Spot can be regarded as a general term for the scenic area, which includes, in addition to the main Lingshan Buddha, other Buddhist buildings such as the Brahma Palace, Nine Dragons Bathing, Five Seals Mandala, and Manfeilong Pagoda.
Personally, I think the most beautiful place is the entrance of the old temple, the bamboo forest, the big Buddha, and the old temple. It is very artistic!
I visited the five cities in East China in a hurry. I will visit them in depth in the future.
Wuxi Lingshan Scenic Area, a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction (Wuxi has three 5A scenic spots, Yuantouzhu Tour in 2013, Three Kingdoms City Tour in 2016, Lingshan Tour in 2017), was built in 1994. In 2009, in preparation for the World Buddhist Forum, the National Tourism Administration approved its promotion to 5A level in advance (the number of 5A scenic spots increased from 66 at the time to 67). It is a newly built 5A in recent years, mainly showcasing Buddhist culture.
Going to Lingshan is basically to see the Buddha statues. You have to climb a long mountain road with various landmark buildings in the middle. I personally think that the most beautiful Lingshan scenic spot is the Fan Palace. The performances inside are wonderful, the venue is beautiful, and the layout is exquisite. Other places are just average. I took a photo of the Lingshan Buddha and left. I recommend hugging the Buddha's feet for good luck. The environment of the scenic area is very good, very clean, and the road signs are clearly marked. PS: The things inside are very expensive. A glass of juice costs 20 yuan, and I don’t know why, they gave me coins as change after buying things.
The Big Buddha Scenic Area is far from the city, and the tickets are very expensive. The Big Buddha is very spectacular.
Exceeded expectations ~ The scenery, service, food and souvenirs are all very good
Of course, a Buddhist trip cannot be complete without visiting the Lingshan Giant Buddha. From a distance, you can see the Buddha guarding this land.
For someone like me who doesn't believe in Buddhism, this is a holy place for showing off made with RMB.
Tickets are 210 yuan per adult. You can check the performance schedule on the official website in advance.
The courtyard is very large, and it is better to take an electric car to the top of the mountain and then walk down.
Fascinating, bubbling beauty on rainy days...
From Metro Line 2 to Meiyuan Kaiyuan Temple, transfer to Bus No. 89 and arrive at the entrance of Lingshan Scenic Area. As soon as you get off the bus, an auntie selling incense will try to sell you incense (I immediately refused). The tour bus in the scenic area is 20 yuan per person, and the service staff are friendly, which is worthy of recognition.
NO.1 Brahma Palace: Brahma Palace has a magnificent architecture, a solemn and harmonious layout, a total construction area of more than 70,000 square meters, and a construction cost of about 1.8 billion. The entire palace is magnificent, exquisite, extremely luxurious, and full of golden splendor. It is no exaggeration. As soon as I entered the scenic area, I rushed to the Brahma Palace to watch the "Auspicious Ode" at two points. The overall viewing effect was average, and I didn't understand the meaning. The dome had 1,500 golden lotus lanterns that turned on in an instant. You need to wear shoe covers to enter the Brahma Palace. The Buddhist holy land is kept clean. The corridors and halls of the Brahma Palace are the epitome of luxury and shock. The golden splendor, the Buddha's light, and the ancient wood sandalwood, a school of Buddhist victory can be seen at a glance, and the ground-born pagoda performance presents auspicious cultural intentions.
NO.2 Five Seals Mandala: Standing in the rippling sea of perfume, it complements the Lingshan Brahma Palace and the Manfeilong Tower. It is a unique and authentic Tibetan cultural landscape. The Tibetan Buddhist culture is displayed here. Although it is not as magnificent as the Brahma Palace, it is also extremely gorgeous. The mandala enshrines the Five Buddhas of the Five Directions, and its appearance is solemn and brilliant. Entering the mandala, tourists can not only appreciate various Buddhist cultural and artistic treasures from all over Tibet, but also participate in interactive folk activities such as lighting butter lamps and turning Mani prayer wheels. The prayer corridor is equipped with 108 prayer wheels, which is eye-catching and makes people immersed in the solemn and sacred Buddhist realm.
NO.3 Nine Dragons Bathing: Located in the square of Lingshan Buddha, it is the largest music dynamic bronze sculpture group in China, telling the story of the birth of Sakyamuni. This is a major landscape of Lingshan Scenic Spot. With the accompaniment of music, the lotus opens and closes, and the Prince Buddha slowly rises from it, rotating in the water curtain formed by the nine dragons. When the performance is here, there will be more tourists. Friends who want to watch the Nine Dragons Bathing performance can go early to occupy a good position. It should be noted that if the wind is particularly strong, the spray water will splash on your body.
NO.4 Lingshan Buddha: The location of the Buddha is Xiaolingshan, named after Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty, hence the name Lingshan Buddha. It is made of tin bronze and is 88 meters high. Both hands are in a blessing posture. The whole Buddha statue presents the compassionate Dharma of the Buddha, which is in accordance with the law, solemn and exquisite. This is one of the symbols of Wuxi. Facing Taihu Lake and backed by Lingshan Mountain, it has a kind smile and looks at all living beings. It has great significance for social culture and economic development. In the skirt room of the Buddha's seat, a Buddhist Cultural Expo Hall is set up, and two elevators are set up to send believers and tourists to the lotus seat, walk to the feet of the Buddha and touch the feet of the Buddha, which is called holding the Buddha's feet. Because the Lingshan Buddha is so tall, you must keep a certain distance when looking at it or taking pictures to achieve better results. The Lingshan Buddha's hand is a copy of the right hand of the Lingshan Buddha. There is a saying that "touching the Buddha's hand will increase blessings and longevity", so the Buddha's hand has a circle of obvious touch marks.
(This review is purely personal opinion, with some references, to provide reference for friends who love traveling. My photography skills are a bit poor, so please forgive me)
The itinerary was far beyond expectations. It is recommended to go on a rainy day, so that you can more or less avoid the crowds of tourists. More importantly, Lingshan Mountain in the rain was surrounded by drizzling rain and mist, and the Buddha was looming in the mist, which was intoxicatingly beautiful!
Tips: ①The natural scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh, especially on rainy days, there is an ethereal feeling.
②Although the investment cost is very high and the ticket price is relatively high. However, in terms of cost performance, I personally feel that it really shows the Buddhist culture very well, which is precious and worth going. (Students should cherish the opportunity to get half-price tickets)
③As some people have said, if you look at it from a more critical perspective, there are indeed some shortcomings. But I personally feel that it does not affect the experience of playing. In addition, I have not encountered any staff with a bad service attitude. Most of them maintain a polite and responsible work attitude.
④ The commercialization problem. Although it exists, it is not particularly serious and will not bring a bad travel experience. I am not sure how much the guests of Fengxiang Ruzhai spend. Personally, I feel that Lingshan is more inclined to the construction and operation of standardized tourist attractions, which is different from other temples that offer incense and chant scriptures. However, there will always be other disputes about "temples are too secular in their pursuit of money". Different people have different opinions. That's all. I feel it is understandable.
Today, Lingshan Scenic Area has developed into a Buddhist resort with many Buddhist forums and religious activities.
Wuxi must-see attractions, amazing and shocking everywhere! ! Worth visiting!
I didn't enter the core part, but I still saw the characteristics of Jiangnan scenery.
The main attractions here are the Lingshan Giant Buddha and the Lingshan Brahma Palace.
In general, Lingshan Scenic Spot is very large in scale, with Buddhist cultural customs from various regions. You can go and have a look if you have time.
2011.7.4 That performance was quite impressive. I will probably go there again at the end of March this year and then update the article.
Lingshan Shengjing Scenic Area is located on the north side of Lingshan Mountain. It perfectly combines Buddhist culture with natural landscapes and is a Buddhist cultural theme park that showcases the achievements of Sakyamuni. It has become a famous Buddhist cultural tourist destination and a blessing destination in China and abroad. The bronze statue of Sakyamuni Buddha, the thousand-year-old Xiangfu Zen Temple, the large dynamic music sculpture group Nine Dragons Bathing, and the Lingshan Brahma Palace show the essence of Tibetan Buddhist culture and art. In addition, there are wonderful performances such as Nine Dragons Bathing and Lingshan Auspicious Song.
The ticket price is 210 in the off-season, including the attractions such as the Brahma Palace and the Buddha. The most recommended is the Brahma Palace, which is magnificent and even better than the European cathedrals. It is so beautiful that I forgot to take pictures of the highlights.
It is said that Lingshan Buddha is the first Buddha in Jiangsu. It looks OK in the picture, but the experience in person is really different, especially the Brahma Palace, which is shocking.
The whole scenic area is very large and worth visiting. You need to queue up to touch the Buddha statue on Lingshan Giant Buddha.
Although it is a newly built landscape in recent years, it is still very good. I would describe it in a more vulgar way - high-end and classy. The various statues on the square, the exhibitions in the Buddhist Palace, and the collection of Buddhist buildings with regional characteristics from all over the country are also very rewarding. It is just a little far from the city.
The tickets are indeed a bit expensive~~ It is a completely newly built attraction, but it is indeed quite large~~ If you believe in Buddhism, you can come and have a look
This is the first time I really feel the Buddha's feet, the Buddha is very solemn
Lingshan Scenic Area is a 5A scenic area built in 1997, covering an area of about 30 hectares. It is said that the Tang Dynasty monk Xuanzang once stayed here. Seeing that the main peak behind the temple was beautiful and green, it was quite similar to the Vulture Peak where the Buddha of India preached, so he named it "Xiaolingshan". His great disciple Kuiji founded a sect here and created the famous "Ci'en Sect" in Buddhism. Lingshan Scenic Area can be simply summarized as one mountain, one temple, and one Buddha. One mountain is Xiaolingshan. One temple is the thousand-year-old Xiangfu Zen Temple, which was built in the Tang Dynasty and has been rebuilt and destroyed several times. One Buddha is the "Oriental Buddha" - Lingshan Buddha, which is 88 meters high and is known as the first Buddha in China.
It is very magnificent. It might be better to take a guided tour.
The whole scenic area is like an exquisite landscape park. The mountains, rivers and trees have strong design traces, but they are indeed exquisite and pleasing to the eye. The service in the scenic area is also good. It is a good place to worship Buddha and pray for blessings, but it is relatively boring to see the scenery. By the way, there are many restaurants on both sides of the road leading to the gate of the scenic area. Perhaps because of the fierce competition, the cost performance is still quite high. You can directly find a restaurant nearby for dinner!
One-day tour of Lingshan Mountain in Wuxi. You can take the electric car in the scenic area at will throughout the day. The scenery and air are pretty good.
I heard that one of the most worthwhile exhibition halls in the Vatican Palace was burned down, so I didn’t get to appreciate the charm of the Vatican Palace.
Lingshan Giant Buddha, majestic and solemn. A sacred place of Buddhism.
It was already 13:00 in the afternoon when we went from Suzhou to Wuxi and then to Lingshan Giant Buddha in the morning. We booked a family ticket of 399 yuan for 2 adults and 1 child from Meituan in advance. It was very convenient to pick up the ticket online. The scenic area was probably not a holiday, so it felt that there were not many people. After entering the park, we walked along the avenue to visit several scenic spots. Before 14:00, we rushed to the Brahma Palace to watch the Ode to Joy performance. The performance was 20 minutes and very exciting, mainly because the indoor temperature was not hot. After a walk around the Brahma Palace, we went straight to the foot of the Lingshan Giant Buddha. The Buddha looked very solemn and magnificent from a close distance, and I felt really small compared to it. At 16:45, we went to Jiulong Guanding to watch the fountain show, which was not as good as Ode to Joy. After watching it, we took a car back to the hotel. Half a day was still a bit rushed, and several attractions were not visited. It would be more comfortable to play in a day.
Lingshan Scenic Spot is located on the shore of Taihu Lake in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province. It is a 5A-level scenic spot, consisting of Xiaolingshan Mountain, Xiangfu Zen Temple, Lingshan Giant Buddha and other attractions scattered in between. It can be simply summarized as one mountain, one temple and one Buddha.
The classic and labor-saving way to visit is to take the scenic area's electric car directly to the foot of the Buddha after entering the gate, climb from the base building at the foot of the Buddha to the foot of the Buddha, touch the Buddha's toes and take photos, then take the electric car from the inside to the outside and enjoy the sights along the way.
Other attractions include: Ashoka Pillar, Brahma Palace, Five Seal Mandala, etc. There are regular performances in the Brahma Palace, which are very good and worth watching.
Lingshan Buddha has a very good Feng Shui. It faces Taihu Lake, leans against Lingshan Mountain in the north, and embraces the Azure Dragon (mountain) on the left and the White Tiger (mountain) on the right. It is a rare Buddhist treasure. There is the Lingshan Buddha in Wuxi to the east, the Tian Tan Buddha in Hong Kong to the south, the Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan to the west, the Yungang Giant Buddha in Shanxi to the north, and the Longmen Giant Buddha in Henan in the middle. So far, the five-sided five-buddha pattern of China has been completed. From the travel notes [Lu Zai Tu] Travel - Night Tour of Nanchang Street ~ Lingshan Guanshijie ~ Ancestral Hall Culture to Huishan
It is a place worth visiting in Wuxi. If you buy tickets one day in advance, the price on Taobao will be cheaper than on-site.
Lingshan Holy Land is a national 5A-level Buddhist theme cultural park. It is said that Lingshan was named by Master Xuanzang.
Since the scenic area is very large, if you want to have a comfortable and pleasant way of traveling, you can buy a sightseeing bus ticket for 25 yuan. You can wave your hand in the scenic area and the bus will stop. It can be used as many times as you want. Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I only took the bus once and lost the ticket, so we had to walk the whole way.
Lingshan Scenic Spot is composed of Xiaolingshan, Xiangfu Zen Temple, Lingshan Buddha and other scenic spots scattered in between, which can be simply summarized as one mountain, one temple and one Buddha: In addition to one mountain, one temple and one Buddha, other scenic spots in Lingshan Scenic Spot can be summarized as "five, four, three, two and one". "Five" refers to the five squares. They are Shengjing Square, Buddha's Hand Square, Palace Square, Xingtan Square and Buddha Square; "Four" refers to the four firsts at the foot of Lingshan Buddha, namely the first wall in China, the first palm in the world, the first bell in Jiangnan and the first tripod in Shenzhou; "Three" refers to three peculiar trees, namely the thousand-year-old ginkgo, three incense sticks and Buddha's hand camphor; "Two" refers to two mythical ancient wells, namely the hexagonal well and the octagonal well; "One" refers to a magical ancient pond, the White Lotus Pond.

It was a sacred journey to receive holy water and see the Lingshan Buddha.
It is worth a day's visit. You can have lunch at the vegetarian restaurant at noon and watch a performance.
If you value sensory stimulation, then you have come to the right place. Traveling here is more important than visiting Buddha.

Visitors can come here for sightseeing and worship Buddha and meditation, killing two birds with one stone! Enter the scenic area from the main gate and walk straight from south to north. You can pass by Nine Dragons Bathing, Buddha Hand Square, Xiangfu Zen Temple and the Lingshan Buddha in the innermost! After worshiping the Buddha, you can visit the Brahma Palace and the Five Seals Mandala along another road. There is also a performance of auspicious songs in the Brahma Palace. Don't miss it! The Lingshan Shengjing scenic area package is 210 yuan per ticket, including the main ticket, auspicious song performance, and Five Seals Mandala ticket. You will also be given a voucher for vegetarian meals in the Brahma Palace. Although the price is a bit high, it is worth the money. Lingshan Shengjing is worth a visit! From Wuxi City, you can take bus No. 88 from the train station to Lingshan Shengjing. It takes about an hour and a half to reach the gate of Lingshan! If you have the conditions, you can of course travel by car. If you drive by yourself, you need to check the route carefully to avoid taking the wrong road!
Lingshan Giant Buddha can be said to be one of Wuxi's business cards. Although the scenic area was built in 1997, it seems not too long ago, but the whole scenic area can be said to be too shocking. As soon as you enter the scenic area, you can see the very spectacular Lingshan Giant Buddha statue, and then the performance of the Nine Dragons Bathing is very shocking. As shown in the picture, the prince can rotate 360 degrees, which really reflects the Buddhist philosophy of saving all living beings and equality for all. This scenic area can also be visited for a whole day. If you are physically fit, it is not recommended to take an electric car, which can save 30/person. The most shocking one is the Brahma Palace, which has countless strange treasures inside and the lights are even more beautiful. It is recommended to have lunch at the Brahma Palace buffet restaurant at noon, 65 per person, which is a fair price. Then you can go to the ancient Yin Mandala to take pictures, which seems to be built in imitation of the Potala Palace in Tibet. Finally, you must climb to the top and touch the Buddha's feet for good luck~
There is a vegetarian buffet in the scenic area with many varieties and good taste. Many things that look like meat are actually made of tofu. Maybe I was too tired from walking around. I felt refreshed after drinking a sip of Sprite. My husband joked that the Sprite in Lingshan is blessed, so of course it tastes good.
🚩Buy tickets: The on-site ticket price is 210 for adults and 105 for students (half-price tickets). Buying tickets online is cheaper than on-site, but not much cheaper, basically only a few yuan cheaper. Only the ticket + transfer is cheaper for a temporary group, basically around 150.
🚩But we drove there by ourselves so we couldn't use it. Friends who don't drive by themselves must choose group tickets online, which includes tickets and city bus pick-up. This is definitely a good deal. Tickets must be booked before 23:00 the night before. Because many discount tickets will be unavailable. And you can't book battery car tickets online after 23:00, which is not very convenient. You don't need to queue up to pick up tickets for online tickets! ! Just swipe your ID card and enter directly. (The ticket collection point for online ticket purchases is for local people in Wuxi). Battery cars in the scenic area need to be purchased, and many online tickets also have combined tickets for battery cars and tickets. But be sure to order before 23:00 the day before. Tickets purchased on site are 30 yuan/person. ✨
