This 5A attraction is really worth the 5A! I went in at around 10 in the morning and didn't come out until 3:30 in the afternoon. The 100 yuan ticket was worth it~ The main attractions and cruise ships are concentrated in the south area, and the north area is more like a big park, so the south area took 3.5 hours, and the north area only took about 1 hour. There are boats in the local area, small, medium and large boats, and people all sit on the medium boat. There are explanations on the boat, from the South Gate to the Five Pavilion Bridge. The bridges have their own characteristics, and most of them were built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. There are pavilions, towers, houses and so on, and there are countless beautiful things. If you didn't have breakfast, you can go to Yechun at the South Gate to eat. It's crowded there, and you can buy takeout. Generally speaking, this scenic spot must be visited, "If you don't go to the Slender West Lake, you haven't come to Yangzhou."

Speaking of Yangzhou, if you only have a weekend like me, then the Slender West Lake is definitely a must-visit among the many attractions. If you want to visit the entire Slender West Lake, you need to set aside at least 4 hours. The Slender West Lake is divided into the South District and the North District. Most of the North District was built later. If you are short on time, you can only visit the South District.

This time I designed a trip for my mom and some aunts. We visited on April 18, the 14th day of the third lunar month, just in time for the wisteria and magnolia to be in full bloom!!!

Slender West Lake is quite large. For aunts like my mother who like taking photos too much, it is impossible to walk all the way, so it is correct to enter from the South Gate Ticket Office. The highlights are concentrated here. My mother and her group (average age over 60) entered the park at 9:00 in the morning and left the park at 18:00 in the afternoon. They all walked from the South Gate and left from the West Gate. It is best to bring your own godmother. 30 years later, we went to Yangzhou again in March. We took a tourist bus directly from the train station to Daming Temple and then to Slender West Lake. Empiricism is killing people. My husband studied in Yangzhou for 4 years N years ago. He was sure that Daming Temple was a bit far from the north gate of Slender West Lake. We took the bus and arrived in one stop. It turned out that the Slender West Lake scenic area has expanded N times from the north to the south, and it is almost connected with the Daming Temple scenic area. We walked slowly from the north gate to the south gate. It was a bit tiring, but we thought that the cultural heritage and essence of the scenic area were still in the south. The core attractions of Slender West Lake are concentrated between Dahong Bridge and Xichun Terrace. The route to visit Slender West Lake is very simple. Enter from the South Gate on Dahong Bridge, walk north along the long embankment to Xiaojin Mountain, then turn west and visit the core attractions in sequence. The whole journey takes about two hours. To be honest, the attractions related to West Lake are not interesting. Hangzhou West Lake is full of people, and Slender West Lake is like a big park, similar to Beiling in Shenyang. You can rent an interpreter at the entrance of Slender West Lake and return it at the exit. But I still can't remember what was said at all, I just listened blindly. There are still quite a lot of people inside, many of them are tourists from surrounding cities, and they come to visit with their families.

The Slender West Lake is roughly divided into two parts. The first half should be rebuilt on the basis of the ancient monument, and the second half is newly built. Like a park, this location has many flowers and some modern facilities.

One of the facilities I particularly like in the Slender West Lake is the direct drinking water. It is economical and convenient for tourists. Most of the guides online recommended a route to enter from the South Gate and exit from the West Gate, but we entered from a location closer to the West Gate, so we chose to go the opposite way. We were so fascinated that we didn't reach the first attraction of the West Gate, the Twenty-Four Bridges, until about 8:30, when more and more tourists came.

The child encountered her favorite part in the Slender West Lake, feeding pigeons. Then we spent nearly two hours, feeding 12 bags of pigeon food for 40 yuan (3 bags for 10 yuan), and taking photos with the peacocks (the staff helped to take photos, 30 yuan per photo, and 10 yuan for taking photos with your own mobile phone). At this time, the Slender West Lake was like a tourist destination crowded with tourists, which was completely different from when we just came in in the early morning.

After feeding the pigeons, my child and I felt a little tired, so we walked and stopped to visit the remaining attractions.

I came to the Slender West Lake with the dream of "Yangzhou in March with fireworks", but I was severely taught a lesson by reality. The daytime tickets of 150-200 yuan are "sky-high", and the night tickets are even more outrageous, starting at 110 yuan. Even the local taxi drivers complained that "a shabby park is more expensive than the Summer Palace". The so-called "core attractions" such as the Five Pavilion Bridge and the Twenty-Four Bridges were all drowned in the crowds of tourists. The lake water was turbid and the greenery was ordinary. Hangzhou West Lake is much more famous than it, but it is open to the public for free.

Night show: 10 minutes of light show for 180 yuan

I listened to the guide's recommendation and tried the night show, but it was a big mistake! The East Gate first forced me to pay a 20 yuan fare. The battery car drove through the darkness until I saw sporadic lights at Wuting Bridge. I waited for an hour in exchange for a 10-minute perfunctory light show, which was not as good as the performance in the county town. On the way back, I found that the East Gate was only 500 meters away from Wuting Bridge, but I had to pay another fare. The whole journey cost 180 yuan per person, which was painful.

The ticket price is extremely low: 100 yuan for daytime sessions, 110 yuan for night sessions, half price for seniors over 70 years old, and free admission to West Lake in Hangzhou and Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing.

There are many transportation options: the battery car is 20 yuan per person, which is totally not worth it, and the rowing boat is 40 yuan per person.

I will not go to the garden scenic area in the city anymore. I don't know how many photos I took before.

Walking in the country, I love three lakes, Hangzhou West Lake, Yangzhou Slender West Lake, Zhaoqing Star Lake. Walking in Slender West Lake, the lake surface is sometimes wide and sometimes narrow, the lake water is rippling, the flowers and trees are colorful, and the pavilions and bridges are scattered in between. Each settlement presents a different scene, and it seems to change with every step. I miss Xiao Du by the 24 Bridges, and appreciate the jade flute on the Five Pavilion Bridge. The white tower is towering, Jinshan is far away, and there are banquets in Fuzhuang and leisure fishing in Chuitai. I can see this scene in the bleak grass and trees in the first month of the year. After walking through Slender West Lake, I completely understand the praise that "one third of the world is bright moon night, and two thirds of the rogues are in Yangzhou".

The essence of it should be from Xu The section from the pavilion to the Twenty-Four Bridges has Xiaojin Mountain, Diaoyutai, Five Pavilion Bridge, Twenty-Four Bridges and other highlights. Diaoyutai is also called Chuitai. Standing on a position to the right of the pavilion, you can see the Five Pavilion Bridge and the White Pagoda from the two circular holes of Diaoyutai. Together with Diaoyutai itself, it can be said to be three scenes in one. However, it is basically not visible on holidays because there are too many people. There is a crooked tree at the Five Pavilion Bridge viewing platform. You can squat here to see the Five Pavilion Bridge and the White Pagoda from under the crooked tree. It is a good place to take pictures. Generally speaking, Slender West Lake is still a good classic and worth a visit.

Slender West Lake is located in the urban area of ​​Yangzhou. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. Of course, it is a peak tourist season in spring and autumn. On Sunday morning, I arrived at the South Gate entrance at about 7 o'clock. There was already a large crowd of people entering the park. I didn't expect everyone's enthusiasm to be so high. In the Slender West Lake scenic area, there is a very conspicuous white tower. Behind it is a story about Qianlong's visit to Slender West Lake and "building a white tower overnight". Slowly, as time goes by, more and more tourists come, basically mainly tour groups. Although their stay time is relatively short, they are all waves, and the scale is quite spectacular. This is a pair of swans and a pair of mandarin ducks found in the lake, super cute.

Staying at Zhenyuan, it only takes 4 minutes by taxi to the south gate of Slender West Lake, which is super fast. As for the bus, the tourist bus stops at several gates of Slender West Lake, but the bus from the entrance of Zhenyuan to Slender West Lake requires a long walk. The bus costing 6 yuan for 3 people is not as good as the 9 yuan point-to-point taxi.

We arrived at 7:30, and the staff of the tourist service center had not yet started work, but the tourist service center was open. There were self-service lockers, but not many, only 6 square and 3 long. The long lockers were not very big, and large items had to wait for the staff to arrive and store them manually, all for free. There was a guide map on the table, which you could pick up by yourself.

There is only a small shop in the scenic area, and no place to eat properly. However, the shop inside Shibiliucong sells 6 small buns in a basket for 15 yuan, which tastes pretty good. They are not as salty as Yechun’s and are a bit sweet.

The cruise ship costs 150 yuan per hour, and the prices for pleasure boats and rickshaws seem not expensive, but the price is for one stop, and I don’t know how many stops there are in total?

The tour lasted about 6 hours, and we returned from the Garden of Ten Thousand Flowers without completing the entire garden.

Go out from the South Gate, turn right after crossing the Dahong Bridge, then turn left after crossing another bridge and you will arrive at the Zhenyang Intercity Bus Departure Station, which is in front of the Exit and Entry Administration Bureau. It costs ￥15 per person to get to Zhenjiang.

Across the Dahongqiao Bridge from the South Gate is the Hongqiaofang business district, which has many restaurants, including Yechun.

Slender West Lake is well-known far and wide. Many allusions and legends are reflected here. It is very long and there is no turning back, so after entering the park, you have to decide whether to take a boat tour or walk. There are many people, and the willow trees and peach blossoms on both sides are very beautiful.

During the Qingming Festival, there were so many people, but it was really beautiful. The small bridges and flowing water were all winding scenery of the south. It was very unique, but it was very large, equivalent to a large People's Park, not special enough.

The dancing willows on the lakeside, the pavilions and towers, the cool wind and the drizzle add a dreamlike charm to this beautiful scene.

It takes most of the day to walk around, so bring a power bank with you. You can't stop taking photos as you walk.

Basically, everyone who comes to Yangzhou must go to Slender West Lake.

1. Work restrictions, only one day. Very painful

There are three options within 2.4 hours of driving: Yangzhou, Lianyungang, and Kaifeng. Because of that poem, Yangzhou came to my mind first!

3. Because of the heavy fog in the morning, the highway was open, but the speed was limited. (I didn't dare to check if there was any violation) It took 3 and a half hours to arrive at the entrance of Slender West Lake.

4. The Slender West Lake is divided into 3 parts, the east, the middle and the south. The first half of the Slender West Lake took nearly an hour, and I found that the Slender West Lake was much larger than I imagined! I couldn't change to a sightseeing bus and walk in small steps, so I barely appreciated 70% of the beauty of the Slender West Lake. If I have time, I am willing to spend 6 hours to appreciate its beauty. Feeling: Very good!

5. At noon, I had long fish noodles, pig intestine noodles and other Yangzhou's most distinctive morning tea at the Garden Tea House. Feeling: The food is good, but the service is poor.



Summary: Slender West Lake is really a highly recommended place in this season. I have been to Suzhou before, and I feel that this place is really more worth visiting than Suzhou!

One of the must-see attractions in Yangzhou happens to be in the third month of the lunar calendar, so it is called "Yangzhou in March with Fireworks". There are many tourists during this period, and you can go in just to watch people. Inside is the scenery of Jiangnan gardens, as well as some historical and cultural allusions. It is still a place worth visiting.

It's very beautiful, but there are too many people. I can't find a suitable camera position. I can only reflect the scenery in my eyes.

I went to Yangzhou in March for the fireworks. The Slender West Lake has always been famous, but I have never had the opportunity to go there. I am very happy that I made the trip this time. The Slender West Lake is very large. In fact, you can take a battery car to tour it first. It is recommended to ask for an explanation. There are Xu Garden, Five Pavilion Bridge, Twenty-Four Bridges, etc. in the scenic area, which still need explanations. The best time to visit should be March to April in the Gregorian calendar. The flowering period is cherry blossoms, peach blossoms and Yangzhou's unique magnolia. Unfortunately, when I went there, I only saw vague cherry blossoms, and the peach blossoms were in full bloom. I saw the legendary filming location of Daiyu's burial of flowers. Unfortunately, the schedule was too tight. I couldn't visit it too carefully. I still have to go there again if I have the chance.

I went to Yangzhou for the New Year's meeting and visited the Slender West Lake. The Wuting Bridge was under renovation and there were few people. It must be the off-season.

The spring rain is like wine and the willows are like smoke. The ancients wrote it so romantically, yet so accurately, without any error. It is indeed not as beautiful as West Lake, nor as big as West Lake. But it is still worth the ticket price.

Slender West Lake feels pretty good. It doesn't have the grand opening and closing of West Lake. But it has a different style. Beautiful boat girls, Twenty-Four Bridges, Five Pavilion Bridge, Xiaojin Mountain. Weeping willows wrap up the small attractions one by one, and you have to get close to see them. The environment is very good. It feels great.

Yangzhou's Slender West Lake is very famous, but it feels more like an ordinary park. Most of the buildings inside are modern. The famous Twenty-Four Bridges are a bit disappointing. If you come to Yangzhou to visit this place, it's okay, but there's no need to make a special trip to visit it.

Actually the water is green and dirty. There is no greenery in winter. There is really nothing to see. The lake is quite small.

If you come to Yangzhou, you must visit Slender West Lake, with its pleasant scenery and elegant environment.

After a day of walking, I still think it is worth it.

It is a world cultural heritage site after all, and the scenery is not bad, but the ticket price is a bit too high. The scenery of Jiangnan is similar in different places. Slender West Lake still has cultural content, and it has some characteristics of a royal garden. It is worth spending 30 or 40 yuan for a ticket to visit it in the off-season.

On a winter morning, there are not many tourists in the Slender West Lake during the off-season. There are only chirping birds and local citizens who get up early for morning exercises. Taking a deep breath of the fresh and dry air is so leisurely and comfortable. There is a white tower in the Slender West Lake. Compared with the white tower in Beihai Park, the white tower here has more of the gentle temperament of Yangzhou.

In fact, the Slender West Lake is really thin. Rather than calling it a lake, I think it is more appropriate to call it a river. What's more, the Slender West Lake itself is a tributary of the ancient Grand Canal, which shows that the salt merchants' trade in Yangzhou was really prosperous at that time.
