The Pavilion of Prince Teng is located by the Gan River and is famous for Wang Bo's "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng". It is one of the "Three Famous Towers in Jiangnan" and a landmark of Nanchang.
The scenic area is mainly composed of the main pavilion of Tengwang Pavilion and small gardens on the north and south sides. Climbing the pavilion to look into the distance is the main activity here.
There are 9 floors in total, and the 5th floor is the best floor for viewing the view, which is also the essence of the entire Tengwang Pavilion. The "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" engraved on the copper plate on the wall of the central hall was written by Su Shi.
The 6th floor is an antique stage, where there is a costume performance approximately every hour. It is also the highest floor for tourists to visit.

Tengwang Pavilion is near the railway station. You can take bus No. 52 to Tengwang Pavilion Station. The scenic area service of Tengwang Pavilion is very user-friendly. You can enter directly by swiping your ID card without picking up a ticket. It also provides free luggage storage service. I was worried that my big suitcase could not fit in, but I didn’t expect that there was a special large luggage storage cabinet, which can be accessed by fingerprint, which is very convenient.
As for the Pavilion of Prince Teng, the famous article "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" tells all about it... As the name suggests, the Pavilion of Prince Teng was built by Prince Teng, Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Li Shimin. The name Li Yuanying is little known, but the Pavilion of Prince Teng is a household name. However, this building is certainly not the original appearance of the early Tang Dynasty. The Pavilion of Prince Teng was destroyed 28 times in history, and it was rebuilt in every dynasty. The current version is the 29th reconstruction and was built according to Liang Sicheng's drawings. There are 7 floors in total in the Pavilion of Prince Teng. Excluding the top floor, there are 6 floors that can be viewed. Each floor has a collection of different exhibits, such as paintings, ancient books, stone carvings, wood carvings, etc. Among them, my favorite is a painting of "Dream of Linchuan". There is a 3D holographic projection on the 4th floor, which demonstrates the historical changes of the Pavilion of Prince Teng in the form of animation. You must see it. There is also an interesting thing, which seems to be on the 2nd floor. It is a 1:1 wax figure that shows the scene of Wang Bo writing the preface at that time. Pushing aside the veil behind Wang Bo, peeping at the dancer from this angle is also a unique experience.
The scenery you see from each direction is different. You must walk around the building to see the whole view. Looking down from the main entrance of the attic is the Bagua map of the square. Turning left, you can see the scenery of "the autumn water and the sky are the same color", but this "color" is not blue, but white... I have to mention the wind on the Tengwang Pavilion. The wind must be at least level 10, right? ! I didn't see the "falling clouds and the solitary wild geese flying together", I only know that my "hair and windbreaker flew together", and I was blown silly! ! !
In short, it was a pleasant journey, the magnificent Tengwang Pavilion, and the simple people of Jiangxi.

1. History of Tengwang Pavilion: Built by Prince Teng in the Tang Dynasty, it has been rebuilt 29 times. The current one is built according to Liang Sicheng's design and is much taller than the original one.
2. The structure of the main pavilion of Tengwang Pavilion adopts the format of "three visible and seven hidden", that is, from the outside it looks like a three-story building with corridors, but inside it has seven floors, that is, three visible floors, three hidden floors, and the equipment floor in the roof. All the tiles of the new pavilion are made of green glazed tiles produced in Yixing. The ridge chime is specially made in imitation of the Song Dynasty, up to 3.5 meters high. The hook and drip are specially made tiles, the hook is the four characters "Teng Pavilion Autumn Wind", and the drip is the "Lonely Duck" pattern. (From Baidu). There is a holographic image on the fourth floor to introduce the architecture of the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. There are many parts of Tengwang Pavilion on display around, which are ingenious and exquisite.
3. Enjoy the scenery of Ganjiang River It is now the turn of spring and summer, and there is no autumn color. There are tall buildings all around, so it is impossible to see far away. However, it is not a bad idea to look at Ganjiang River and appreciate the buildings.
4. The second floor of the cultural exhibition is about outstanding people. The texts and murals show the 48 top scholars in Jiangxi Province, including the well-known Wen Tianxiang. The fourth floor is about the land, and the texts and murals show the mountains and rivers of Jiangxi.
5. All other related buildings are ignored.
In short, it's worth a visit. It's also worth it for the famous advertising slogan.
It was drizzling🌧️, but it cleared up when we arrived at Tengwang Pavilion🌤️, and then turned cloudy🌥️. The weather is really unpredictable! It has a unique charm🌈
The red and green reveal a majestic look. The Tengwang Pavilion after the rain has a unique charm. It is impeccable from every angle. Doesn’t my green windbreaker match it well?
Worth a visit🌿
The Pavilion of Prince Teng stands overlooking the Gan River. It was first built by Li Yuanying, Prince Teng, the younger brother of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin. It became famous for the "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" by the early Tang poet Wang Bo. It is one of the three famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River, a landmark of Nanchang, and a must-see attraction for people visiting Nanchang.
The scenic area is mainly composed of the main pavilion of Tengwang Pavilion and the small gardens on the north and south sides. Climbing the pavilion to enjoy the view is the main purpose of tourists coming here. The fifth floor is the best floor for viewing. The essence of the entire Tengwang Pavilion is here. Strolling along the corridor and overlooking the vast water of Ganjiang River
It is said that "If you don't visit Tengwang Pavilion, it means you haven't been to Nanchang."
When you have free time, take a walk around Tengwang Pavilion!
The Pavilion of Prince Teng is located by the Gan River. It is famous for Wang Bo's "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng". It is one of the "Ten Famous Towers in Jiangnan" and a landmark of Nanchang. You can feel the historical charm of this building from a distance. The floors are very high, so it is recommended that you save your energy to appreciate it slowly.
The most impressive painting in Tengwang Pavilion is "Hundred Butterflies and Hundred Flowers". It is said that Li Yuanying was good at painting butterflies, and the painting world called it "Teng School Butterfly Painting". The butterflies in the painting are free and unfettered, and I was attracted at the first sight.
Han Yu: "When I was young, I heard that there were many beautiful sights in Jiangnan, but Tengwang Pavilion was the best, with a reputation of being magnificent and unique."
Wang Bo: "The land is rich in natural resources and people are outstanding. The setting sun is like a solitary wild goose, and the autumn sky is vast. The mountains and rivers are difficult to cross, but we meet by chance. The old man is stronger, and the poorer he is, the more resolute he is. The Greedy Spring feels refreshing, and the dry rut is still happy."
In order to get free tickets, I have to recite the text again~
It was already past 4 p.m. when we arrived at Tengwang Pavilion. There was only half an hour left before the scenic spot closed, and we were worried that it would close soon, so we were extremely flustered and anxious after entering. We didn't even pay attention to taking pictures, and only took a few quick shots and passed by in a hurry.
Here is a photo of the sign. I bought a pack of "Tengwang Pavilion" cigarettes to take the photo together. The building is even taller in reality. I went upstairs and looked down to see a large square. The entrance to the scenic area is in the distance.
I won’t say much about the cultural history inside the building. What impressed me most was the external scenery, especially above the 5th floor. You can stand outside and look at every floor. There are no blind spots in all four directions. The setting sun gradually shines on the Ganjiang River, which is very beautiful.
There are antique buildings near Tengwang Pavilion, and many shops selling antique collectibles. The sunset dyes the skyscrapers golden.
The ticket sales staff here really need to be improved. Tengwang Pavilion is an AAAAA scenic spot. Now it has become a scenic spot, which should be expanded. There are some low buildings around Tengwang Pavilion to form a scenic spot. The Tengwang Pavilion you see now is the 27th reconstruction. There is an elevator upstairs. There are some exhibitions on each floor. It was foggy when I went there, so I didn’t see the scenery.
Because of the road construction, even the navigation system gave up on the way to Tengwang Pavilion. I asked for directions along the way and took a dirt road by the river to reach the scenic spot. As the old saying goes, since you are here, go in and take a look.
On the way, I stayed with the scenic area tour guide for a few minutes. I knew that the famous "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" came from here, but I didn't know that this pavilion was mainly a place for pleasure, oh no, it was an entertainment venue for the king and his ministers to drink, write poems, listen to songs and enjoy dances.
It turns out that Tengwang Pavilion has been rebuilt more than 20 times. The current one was rebuilt in the 1980s, and Mr. Liang Sicheng even drew a draft for it.
The view from the fifth floor is really great. There is an island in the river, which is very beautiful. After a tour, you can feel the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty.
Compared with Yellow Crane Tower, I prefer Tengwang Pavilion, but they each have their own merits.
With the addition of lights at night, it looks good both from a distance and up close. To see it from a distance, you have to go to the Qiu Shui Square on the other side of the river.
It is equivalent to a restoration and reconstruction on the original site. The exterior looks majestic, but the interior is rather boring. After playing around, I didn't remember anything, but I remembered that climbing the stairs was very tiring. The stairs are relatively narrow, with one side going up and the other side going down. There is a straight elevator that can go directly to the top floor, but there is a reminder that it is for the elderly, the weak, the sick, the disabled and pregnant women. However, there are tourists who take the straight elevator. Is it not a rule that must be followed? But when I went there, I took the stairs up and down. There is no special scenery overlooking from the top floor. The Ganjiang River is just downstairs. There is no spectacular scenery of the long sky and the autumn water, and the setting sun and the solitary wild geese flying together. The beauty of the ancients' poems can only be in the present. I don't recommend going there. It's the truth. Those who have been there understand. But there is a feeling that it seems wrong if you don't go. It's magical. Hahahaha
Tengwang Pavilion does not cover a large area. Across a group of pavilions and towers is the cruise terminal. If you are not going on a cruise, most people will walk around Tengwang Pavilion, then take the elevator to the top of the tower and then walk down the stairs.
Across the Tengwang Pavilion is Qiushui Square, where you can see the Nanchang Star Ferris Wheel from afar. But because of the haze, it's not very clear.
We waited for the sunset on the Tengwang Pavilion. The afterglow of the sun sprinkled on the river surface, giving the Ganjiang River a golden hue. The autumn water and the sky were the same color. We took all kinds of photos with our mobile phones and cameras. I heard from the people next to me that it would be more beautiful if there was no haze, but it was good enough.
The ticket price is 45 yuan now. You can buy it online, on-site, or at the counter. WeChat and Alipay are supported. I entered from the north gate, and the baggage storage service is right at the entrance. You still need to check your ticket when you get to the main building, so keep your ticket safe. I was really disappointed with the dance. There were only two or three people dancing. I thought I would see a grand dance.
Nanchang Tengwang Pavilion is one of the three famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River. It is located on the east bank of Ganjiang River in the northwest of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It was first built in the fourth year of Tang Yonghui (653 AD). It was named after Tengwang Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Tang Taizong Li Shimin, and was also famous for the poem by the early Tang poet Wang Bo, "The setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color."
In the 13th year of the Zhenguan reign of the Tang Dynasty (639 AD), Li Yuanying, the 22nd son of Emperor Gaozu of the Tang Dynasty and the younger brother of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, was granted the title of Prince of Teng in Tengzhou, Shandong Province. He built a pavilion in Tengzhou named "Tengwang Pavilion" (now destroyed). In the 4th year of the Xianqing reign of the Tang Dynasty (659 AD), Li Yuanying, the Prince of Teng, was transferred to be the governor of Hongzhou in Jiangnan (now Nanchang, Jiangxi Province). Because he missed his hometown Tengzhou, he built the famous "Tengwang Pavilion". The Tengwang Pavilion became well-known to later generations because of Wang Bo's "Preface to the Tengwang Pavilion" and became an eternal classic.
Tengwang Pavilion is known as one of the "Three Famous Towers in Jiangnan" along with Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, Hubei and Yueyang Tower in Hunan. Tengwang Pavilion has been rebuilt 29 times in history, and has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. The current Tengwang Pavilion was designed by Liang Sicheng. In January 2001, Nanchang Tengwang Pavilion was approved by the National Tourism Administration as the first batch of national AAAA-level tourist attractions.
I specially chose to climb the Tengwang Pavilion in the afternoon, just to experience the autumn water and the sky as described by Wang Bo, and the sunset and the solitary wild goose fly together! It's a pity that I forgot that it was the dry season, so... In general, the Tengwang Pavilion is still worth a visit, and the ticket price is 50 on-site and 40 online compared to the other two buildings-Yellow Crane Tower 80 and Yueyang Tower 70, which is more cost-effective! The whole scenic area is quaint, and the Imperial Edict Museum in the scenic area is also very interesting.
Although the Tengwang Pavilion on the third floor of Jiangnan does not have the same lush and magnificent garden system as the Yellow Crane Tower, it has nine floors and is slightly smaller than the Yellow Crane Tower. It has been rebuilt for the 29th time. It is the most magnificent building combining ancient and modern times, referring to Liang Sicheng's drawings and construction methods. I didn't have much time here on a business trip. From 2:30 pm to 6 pm, it was completely dark. I finished the superficial tour of the garden. It was cloudy, and it was precisely because of the cloudy day that I felt that the photos taken had a more sense of age and momentum! It was worth the trip, the next stop was Yueyang Tower
As the lights come on, the Tengwang Pavilion is like a pearl inlaid on the bank of the Ganjiang River, attracting visitors from all directions to indulge in the boundless night. Layers of lights illuminate the outline of the pavilion. The green tiles and red walls are shining. It seems like an elegant scholar from the depths of history, carrying the glory and prosperity of the past, quietly telling the eternal masterpiece of "the setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color."
Although it was raining, I saw a different view. I think it is more beautiful at night.
Although it was raining, I saw a different view. I think it is more beautiful at night.
One of the four famous towers in China, it is one of the must-see attractions in Nanchang. The night view from the tower is nice. However, the management of the scenic area is not satisfactory. First of all, it is stipulated that you enter from the east gate and exit from the south gate and north gate, which is very inhumane. It is also stipulated that you enter and exit from each direction when going upstairs, and you must go through the shopping area on the ground floor to go downstairs. Secondly, the venue is cleared at a certain time, and tickets for the night show are purchased separately. In fact, Tengwang Pavilion is just a concept. The tower is newly built in a new location and has nothing to do with the original tower. This scenic spot is not worth visiting again after visiting it once.
Tengwang Pavilion, located at the intersection of Ganjiang River and Fuhe River in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province, is one of the "three famous pavilions in Jiangnan". The popular "Preface to Tengwang Pavilion" is a high school textbook, which describes the magnificent scenery of Tengwang Pavilion, the joy of banquets and tours, and expresses the author's regret that his talent is not appreciated.
It was already dark when I returned to Nanchang city. The buildings on both sides of the Ganjiang River were all lit up with various lights. The most gorgeous one was of course the Tengwang Pavilion. Unfortunately, I only knew the two lines of the Tengwang Pavilion Preface: "The setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color." I couldn't go there to check in for free. I suffered a loss due to my lack of education.
Night tour of Tengwang Pavilion, 100 yuan for night tour + climbing the pavilion. Although you can't see the famous scene of "the setting sun and the solitary wild geese flying together, the autumn water and the sky are the same color" during the night tour, but because the front of Tengwang Pavilion is used as a stage for performances, it is very annoying to rush to climb the pavilion like ducks. After climbing the pavilion, go downstairs, the front of Tengwang Pavilion has been blocked, so you can't take pictures. It's really unfriendly to tourists who don't buy tickets for the performance.
Let's talk about climbing the pavilion. Apart from the 3D projection of the Tengwang Pavilion's architectural structure explanation on the 1st to 5th floors, the rest is really not worth seeing. The exhibits and collections are hard to describe. When you visit the pavilion at night, you can only see the riverside side. Why? Because there is a performance on the front!! On the riverside side, whether you climb the pavilion or not, the night view on the opposite side is very beautiful. If you climb to the top of the Tengwang Pavilion, you can also find a panoramic view of the Tengwang Pavilion scenic area. The significance of climbing the pavilion itself is greater than the content and results of climbing the pavilion. So whether to wait for the Tengwang Pavilion is a matter of opinion.
The Pavilion of Prince Teng is one of the "Three Famous Towers in Jiangnan" and became famous because of Wang Bo's "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng". "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" is an ancient Chinese article that I liked very much when I was a student. The whole article is not only gorgeous in rhetoric, but also profound in writing. "The setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color" is a famous sentence that has been passed down through the ages.
In fact, before arriving at Tengwang Pavilion, I had expected that it would be crowded. After all, it was the National Day holiday, and such famous attractions would definitely be crowded. Besides, I was not very interested in such attractions, as most of them were rebuilt in later generations. But since I was in Nanchang, I might as well take a look.
You have to queue up at the ticket gate of the scenic spot, and many people are taking photos in the square in front of the building. I thought since I'm here, I should go upstairs, otherwise the ticket will be wasted. After entering the building, you need to climb up the stairs one floor at a time, and because the stairs are full of people, the stairs for going up and down are separated, so I just follow the flow of people and go directly to the top floor. This year's National Day holiday is unusually hot. Nanchang must be more than 30 degrees. The stairwell is not ventilated, and there are many people. I was sweating all over. There are a total of six floors, but it feels like I have been climbing for a long time. When I reached the top floor, I hurried out to get some fresh air.
The view from the top floor is quite good, with a panoramic view of the high-rise buildings across the Ganjiang River. However, since it hasn't rained in Nanchang for a long time, the water in the Ganjiang River has become much shallower.
One of the three famous towers in Jiangnan. We were unlucky. Tengwang Pavilion was under renovation and the fifth and sixth floors were not open. It is said that this was a stage. What a pity!
Tengwang Pavilion is on the bank of Ganjiang River. The air is more humid than that in Beijing. You can see the scenery outside from the fourth floor. I took a lot of air. As a northern female man, I envy southerners very much!
I was attracted by Wang Bo's "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" when I was in high school! Today, I finally came to the longed-for Tengwang Pavilion. Although the building is newly built, I will think of the article "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" when I climbed to the top. Although I didn't see the setting sun and the solitary wild goose flying together, I saw the autumn water and the sky are the same color. The beautiful scenery Wang Bo wrote "The mountains and rivers are difficult to cross, who will pity the lost people; we meet by chance, we are all strangers from a foreign land." Is it different from my current situation?
The high pavilion of Prince Teng overlooks the river bank, and the jade-wearing phoenix has stopped singing and dancing.
The painted beams are covered with flying clouds from the South Bay in the morning, and the pearl curtains are rolled up with rain from the West Mountain in the evening.
The shadows of the idle clouds and the pond are leisurely, and the world has changed and the stars have moved as autumn has passed.
Where is the emperor's son in the pavilion now? Outside the railings, the Yangtze River flows by itself.
Tengwang Pavilion stands by the Ganjiang River. It is famous for Wang Bo's "Tengwang Pavilion Preface". It is one of the "Three Famous Towers in Jiangnan" and a landmark of Nanchang. I think every Chinese who goes to school will come into contact with "Tengwang Pavilion Preface" in middle school. The famous line "The setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color" must be familiar to everyone.
I strongly recommend that you go to Tengwang Pavilion at night. There is really nothing to see in Tengwang Pavilion during the day, but at night, when the lights in Nanchang are on, Tengwang Pavilion has turned on all the landscape lights, which is very shocking from the outside. At this time, my companions and I hesitated whether to go in and take a look. It is said that there is nothing good to see inside Tengwang Pavilion (see the guide above), but we are here... In the end, we decided to go inside Tengwang Pavilion to find out, and it turned out to be the right decision! Compared with the lighting effects outside, it is a completely different scene after entering. The effect of the light show can be said to be more gorgeous, and you can also watch it up close. Its lighting effect is definitely the most beautiful one among the lighted attractions I have visited! There are also continuous singing and dancing performances and musical instrument performances inside, which are very enjoyable to watch.
Although the Tengwang Pavilion here is no longer the original Tengwang Pavilion, and it cannot even be said to have been demolished and rebuilt on the original site, it can only be said to be a replica of the ancient Tengwang Pavilion. However, under the background of this lighting effect, it seems as if there is a scene back to the heyday of the Tang Dynasty. In this environment, the boundary between true and false has become less clear.
The first attraction on the first day in Nanchang was a bit disappointing, because the current pavilion was built in 1986, and the Tengwang Pavilion was rebuilt and destroyed as many as 29 times in history. The Imperial Edict Museum next to the pavilion contains imperial edicts from Japan and Vietnam, which is quite interesting. Who said that those who can recite the preface to the Tengwang Pavilion can enter for free? Stand up and see if I can't kill you. It made me not buy tickets the night before, and I can get a 10% discount on Ctrip, which can save 5 yuan. Who said that there are not many people on National Day. Come to see it in the afternoon and you can also see the night view. It's good to have a lot of people, which will affect the visiting experience. I basically lined up at the door at 8:30. The night Tengwang Pavilion charges 100 yuan, which is twice as expensive as during the day, so I only took two photos at the door.
Tengwang Pavilion, one of the three famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River, is located on the east bank of Ganjiang River in Yanjiang Road in the northwest of Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. It was first built in the fourth year of Yonghui in the Tang Dynasty. It was named after Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin. It became famous for the poem by Wang Bo, a poet of the early Tang Dynasty, "The setting sun and the lone wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color."
Xiwang Pavilion is one of the three famous towers in Jiangnan and the only royal pavilion in the south. It has been extremely famous from ancient times to the present and once became a landmark of Nanchang and even Jiangxi.
In the afternoon, I visited the famous Tengwang Pavilion. I took the subway, changed trains at Bayi Square Station, and arrived at Tengwang Pavilion Station. When I got out of the station, I found that Tengwang Pavilion was not close, so I walked in the scorching sun and got soaked. Tengwang Pavilion, one of the three famous towers in Jiangnan, is located on the east bank of Ganjiang River on Yanjiang Road in the northwest of Nanchang City. It was built in the fourth year of Tang Yonghui (653 AD). It was named after Li Yuanying, the Prince of Teng, the younger brother of Emperor Taizong of Tang Li Shimin. Tengwang Pavilion is well known to later generations because of "Wang Bo's" "Preface to Tengwang Pavilion". Nanchang Tengwang Pavilion Scenic Area is a National 5A Scenic Area
It's better than expected. The ticket is 50 yuan, and the online purchase is 45 yuan, which is cheaper than the Yellow Crane Tower and Yueyang Tower. The momentum of the tower is better than Yueyang Tower and comparable to the Yellow Crane Tower; the viewing effect is better than the Yellow Crane Tower. Visiting it will give you a deeper understanding of "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng".

Tengwang Pavilion is the only 5A in Nanchang. The ticket price is 50 yuan. It is the most visited place in Nanchang, which is relatively less of a tourist city, but there is no need to queue.
The scenic area was also rebuilt at a later stage. With waterside pavilions, towers, rockery and high-rise stages, it does have a bit of the decadent and regal atmosphere. But honestly speaking, how magical can the scenery of tall buildings rising from flat ground be... Perhaps the fame comes from the level of building tall buildings in that era.
Sitting under the porch and watching the water dripping from the eaves would have been quite pleasant if it weren't for the 0-degree temperature that made my fingers numb - today's temperature was about the same as yesterday in Changsha, but yesterday I was hiking, while today I was just wandering around outdoors.
The scenic spot holds free Feihong dance performances on the hour. The scale is not large, but the dance, like the music, is so charming when seen live. The performers' every move is sometimes powerful and sometimes gentle.
The viewing floors and exhibition floors of Tengwang Pavilion alternate, which contain some porcelain, imperial edicts, costumes and the history of the construction and development of Tengwang Pavilion to prevent tourists from being too bored when climbing the tower.
However, this windy season is not suitable for climbing and looking far into the distance. Besides, the Ganjiang River is no longer the place where the boats and ships used to be. One can only hold on to the brim of the hat tightly to avoid being blown away. In the rain, one cannot feel the legend of the setting sun, the solitary wild goose flying together, and the autumn water and the sky being the same color.

If you come to Nanchang and don't visit Tengwang Pavilion, you haven't been to Nanchang. It is a must-visit place with great scenery. You can see modern high-rise buildings and financial CBD on the other side. If you want to slowly visit and appreciate the history and culture of Tengwang Pavilion, one day is not enough. It's a quick tour.
Nanchang is a popular check-in place where history and modernity blend together and you can enjoy the river view.
It is not as beautiful as the Yellow Crane Tower. It is average during the day but very beautiful at night. It is recommended to visit it at night.
A famous landmark check-in spot, where "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" has been passed down for thousands of years, on the bank of Ganjiang River.
We arrived in Nanchang late, so we spent some time eating. We didn't get to the upper part. There was a cruise ship below.
I was discouraged by the crowds at the door and didn't get in in the end, so I can't make any comments. My suggestion is to go when there are fewer people.
The ticket to Tengwang Pavilion is 50 yuan, and it is 45 yuan if you buy it online in advance. It seems that there is no reason not to visit Tengwang Pavilion when visiting Nanchang city!
Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, is one of the three famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River.
Tengwang Pavilion Liang Sicheng, the scenic area is not complete, and the attractions in Nanchang are scattered
One of the four great towers, it is worth the trip to check it out today.
I went to take pictures of the night view at night. It turns out that there are tickets at night, which are more expensive than the morning tickets.
It is a very magnificent scenery. It really has the momentum of "passing through three rivers and carrying five lakes, controlling the wild thorns and attracting the European moon".
If you can memorize Wang Bo's "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng", you can get free admission to the Pavilion of Prince Teng. Unfortunately, I only forgot one of the poems I memorized during the college entrance examination.
The scenery was nice and there were performances, but due to time constraints, I didn't watch them.
Although the content of Tengwang Pavilion is not very good, the architecture is awesome. The restoration map was made by Master Liang Sicheng himself. The architectural decoration and structure are very attentive, it is still worth a visit.
Long history, a great place to overlook Nanchang.
One of the three famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River, it is six stories high, but the sixth floor is closed and you cannot go out. If you want to go out and see the view from a high place, you can only go out from the fifth floor.
I went down one floor after another, waiting and waiting alone to see the night view, until there was no one left in the park. I saw on the official website that there would be performances in the evening, but it turned out that they were scouting out the venue that night to prepare for the holiday the next day... So sad...
There is an elevator in the newly built building. It is probably like the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan. It is rare to find a few Wuhan people who have been to the Yellow Crane Tower. The view from the top is quite good. You have to come. Although it is new, you still have to come.
If you like history and want to know something about "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng", you can go and have a look.
The overlap of classical and modern architecture
It's just so-so, nothing shocking. Let's take a look at the night view.
It is a later building and has experienced many destructions and reconstructions in history.
Needless to say, its important position. I thought it was the same as those cheesy and cheap things that were renovated and poorly imitated from ancient times, but it was beyond my expectations. The night view was beautiful when passing by at night, and it was refreshing to climb it during the day. Although I didn't see the setting sun and the solitary wild goose flying together, I saw the autumn water and the sky being the same color.
The autumn water and the sky are the same color, and the sunset glow and the lone wild goose fly together.
One of the three famous towers in Jiangnan, although they were rebuilt later, they are also very distinctive. It is a must-visit place in Nanchang
Climbing high and looking far, I felt like I was in the Bund in Shanghai. I really wanted to see the scene of "the setting sun and the solitary wild goose flying together, the autumn water and the sky being the same color"...
I was leaning against the railing and chatting with Old Wu in a place where we could bask in the sun. The sickly Old Wu and the strong Little Yang were laughing.
The Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng is the main point when visiting Nanchang. It feels very good and is surrounded by water, which is very good.
It's cheaper if you book online~ It's quite unique
It was too hot, so I just took a photo outside the door, checked in, and left... I wonder how hot it would be for the people who went in to visit.
Everyone knows that this is a newly built reinforced concrete building. It is nothing more than learning some historical and cultural knowledge and climbing up to see the scenery on both sides of the strait and the cityscape of Nanchang.
It is not too far from Bayi Square to Tengwang Pavilion, with beautiful scenery, pleasant views and rich culture.
I checked in at Tengwang Pavilion, but maybe it was the wrong time, so I didn’t see “the setting sun and the lone wild goose flying together, and the autumn water and the sky being the same color”. However, the air conditioning in Tengwang Pavilion was still very powerful, and I took some photos of the two pavilion roofs, I really liked them.
The line "The setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color" has been passed down through the ages. This is the Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, a beautiful sacred place in the poems of the genius poet Wang Bo in the early Tang Dynasty, and one of the "Three Buildings in Jiangnan" that shocked China and the world. It has beautiful scenery, pleasant scenery, and a strong cultural atmosphere. It is a good place to learn knowledge and cultivate one's character.
It is well-known for Wang Bo's Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng and has become a must-see attraction in Nanchang.
Sunset clouds, solitary wild goose, autumn water and long sky
It's hard to cross the mountains and rivers, but we met by chance
Older, stronger; poorer, stronger
Greedy spring feels refreshing, dry rut still happy
"If I could write something like this in my lifetime, I would be content even if I died."
Of course, when you come to Nanchang, you must appreciate the scenery of the setting sun and the flying wild geese, and the autumn water and the sky being the same color. I also came here because of its reputation, and then I took a lot of photos. Lala, Nanchang is really hot in June.
Tengwang Pavilion is a branch line in this tour, because everyone knows that it is extremely modern. After hearing about the fact that Tengwang Pavilion is equipped with an elevator, I really have no interest in it. However, my friend has always felt that it is a bit unreasonable to come to Nanchang without climbing Tengwang Pavilion. Because some sections of Nanchang have traffic restrictions, we decided to ride there (later we thought it would be more time-saving and labor-saving to drive for a while and then walk there). According to the map, when riding, we will pass by an archway of Zhangjiangmen, which is the site of Tengwang Pavilion that was verified at that time.
What surprised me about the Pavilion of Prince Teng was the exhibition on the negative 1 floor. I didn't expect that there would be imperial edicts on display, mainly imperial edicts from the Ming, Qing and Republic of China, as well as some small gadgets. This seems a bit out of place with the Pavilion of Prince Teng, but being able to see some small antiques does fill some interest. There are also wooden models of the Pavilion of Prince Teng in the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties in the back hall. I don't know how they were verified, but they were basically built according to the architectural characteristics of the time, which is indeed a bit shocking. In addition, blue and white porcelain is naturally indispensable. I remember an archaeologist once said that compared with history books, antiques are history that can't speak, so by appreciating the works of blue and white on the Pavilion of Prince Teng, you can also get a glimpse of the Pavilion of Prince Teng in different eras.
When you enter the main hall, you will find two rows of elevators. Due to the large number of tourists, the elevators are no longer in use and you can only use the stairs next to them. The single floor is not high, but two floors are breathable, and the air is a bit blocked. The higher you climb, the more boring the displays inside the building become. On the contrary, the scenery outside the building becomes more spectacular as you climb higher. I couldn't help but recite the famous line from ancient times, "The setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the long sky are the same color." Unfortunately, with the development of the city, the solitary wild goose has disappeared, and the autumn water and the long sky are separated by towering buildings.
Nanchang's number one attraction, most tourists to Nanchang will come here, but I went to Tengwang Pavilion for the first time in my 26th year living in Nanchang. It was OK inside, not bad nor bad.
Teng Wang Nian Si
I have never had any feelings towards rebuilt ancient buildings. When you go up to the Yellow Crane Tower, where "a lone sail disappears into the blue sky, while only the Yangtze River can be seen flowing across the horizon", you can see trains; and for the Dongting Lake, where "mist steams over the Yunmeng Lake, while waves shake the Yueyang Tower", I had to wear Uniqlo clothes helplessly - they were almost dry; but I have a good impression of the Tengwang Pavilion, where "the setting sun and the solitary wild goose fly together, while the autumn water and the sky are the same color". Perhaps, it's because I am a die-hard fan of Huang Bo, and "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng" was written by Wang Bo. If you love Huang, you will love Wang Bo.
I have been to Tengzhou, but I didn't feel the nostalgia of the King of Teng for his hometown. Instead, I felt a lot of thoughts in the Tengwang Pavilion. The building and the name are still very related. The Tengwang Pavilion near the Ganjiang River has been destroyed 28 times in history by "gods". It's really a bit "painful". And this 29th reconstruction originated from Mr. Liang Sicheng. What a good name, the appearance is born from the heart, and the thoughts are natural.
The 29th Tengwang Pavilion is majestic and its hardware is impeccable. If there is anything missing, I think the Tengwang Pavilion, which has been renovated so many times, should be full of Muto Ran.
The ticket is 50 yuan, and I paid 25 yuan with my student ID. It's worth a visit when you are in Nanchang!
On our last day in Jiangxi, our goal today is to visit the famous Tengwang Pavilion and pay homage to the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall.
"The setting sun and the lone wild goose fly together, and the autumn water and the sky are the same color"
Every Chinese who has been to school has heard these two lines of poetry.
It comes from the famous article "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng"
It is said that Wang Bo had never seen Tengwang Pavilion when he wrote this famous piece of work.
On his way to visit his father, 24-year-old Wang Bo was invited to attend a banquet hosted by Yan Boyu, the governor of Hongzhou. This banquet was originally held by Yan Boyu to praise his son-in-law to everyone, but it turned out to be the most shining stage in Wang Bo's life. At the banquet, Yan Boyu invited Wang Bo to write a preface, but Wang Bo did not refuse and immediately wrote the famous "Preface to the Pavilion of Prince Teng".
Isn’t it amazing? A masterpiece created out of sheer imagination
Tip: Tengwang Pavilion, known as the "No. 1 Building in Xijiang", is located on the east bank of Ganjiang River in Yanjiang Road, northwest of Nanchang City. The first of the three famous buildings in Jiangnan, it was built in the fourth year of Yonghui in the Tang Dynasty. Tengwang Pavilion was named after Li Yuanying, the younger brother of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin. It was first built in the Tang Dynasty. There were buildings in the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, but the Tengwang Pavilion built in each dynasty was burned down and rebuilt repeatedly. This attraction requires a ticket, but if you can memorize the whole article of Tengwang Pavilion, you can get a free ticket.
The current building is a reconstruction and is an imitation of the Song Dynasty architecture. A huge Bagua figure is embedded on the ground in the square in front of the pavilion. This architectural system is magnificent. The cultural relics in the Tengwang Pavilion are good and are worth recommending. However, after all, it was designed and restored in the 1980s, so the architecture still has some defects.
However, this place is still a must-visit for people coming to Nanchang. It is also a very ceremonial thing to come and see the Tengwang Pavilion and feel the magnificence of "the setting sun and the lone wild goose flying together, and the autumn water and the sky being the same color".
From the outside, the main pavilion looks like a three-story building with a corridor. In fact, it has three hidden floors and an equipment floor, plus two base floors, for a total of nine floors.
