The Xiaoqi Scenic Area is divided into Upper Xiaoqi and Lower Xiaoqi. It is located at the junction of Duanshen River and Xiaoqi River, 45 kilometers northeast of Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. It is the hometown of Jiang Renjing, the Lianghuai Salt Commissioner in the Qing Dynasty. Xiaoqi, which was built in 787 AD, is a shining pearl of Wuyuan's cultural and ecological tourism and has been rated as a national agricultural ecological demonstration village.
The simple and elegant dwellings of Ming and Qing Dynasties, the winding and quiet streets, the bluestone-paved post roads, the wild and green natural environment, the ancient trees that cover the sky and the earth, and the harmony between man and nature in Xiaoqi can be called an ancient cultural ecological village with unique charm in China.
Surrounded by mountains and across a river, most of the houses in Xiaoqi are from the Ming and Qing dynasties, each with its own unique style. Among them, the official residences such as "Jinshidi", "Daifudi" and "Rongludi" are magnificent, with front and back patios, spacious and deep halls, three high steps at the gate and exquisite brick carvings at the gatehouse, showing off the noble status of the owner. The ancient road with bluestone guardrails at the head of the village, the ancient pavilion, the "Jiang Clan Ancestral Hall" with the "Jiang Clan's Good News" between the beams and pillars, and the vaguely discernible "Jiang Clan Ancestral Hall" also make it easy to imagine the prominence and prosperity of the ancient village in the past.

It’s hard to describe what kind of place Xiaoqi is, maybe because there is really nothing here... Xiaoqi is divided into two villages, the upper and lower villages, connected by a country road in the middle, and this road is the only beautiful place here in my opinion... Just for this road, I give it 4 stars.
The entrance to the scenic area is Xiaxiaoqi. Once you enter, you will find shops on both sides, one after another. When you walk to the end and see all the shops, Xiaxiaoqi Village will also be the end. Then cross the country road and you will reach Shangxiaoqi. There are not so many shops here, but just farmhouses connected to each other, with the words "XX Inn" printed on the outer wall. There is nothing to see until the end, so I asked for the exit. When I asked, I almost fell to my knees. It turned out to be a one-way street here. To find the exit, I had to go back to Xiaxiaoqi!
Summary: It is really not recommended, unless you have plenty of time.
The most famous flower should be chrysanthemum. Autumn is the season when chrysanthemums are in full bloom. Chrysanthemums are planted at the door of every household. People here also start trading in chrysanthemums. Chrysanthemums of various shapes and sizes have different prices. Walking in the small village, there are many ancestral temples. The ancestral temples may be the story of an ancestor with some origins, or the prosperity and decline behind the ancestors.
Xiaoqi is divided into two villages, Shangxiaoqi and Xiaxiaoqi. The entrance of the scenic area leads directly to Xiaxiaoqi. After we got the scenic area pass, we can enter the scenic area by face scanning, which is very convenient. The ancient official residences surrounded by commercial shops in Xiaxiaoqi are still inhabited by descendants. The enthusiastic owners will take the initiative to introduce the house structure and history to the guests. There are also less enthusiastic owners who do their own things and ignore tourists. In general, the locals deserve the image evaluation of simple folk customs and kind personalities. Since the commercialization outside is basically the same as the market in my hometown, we have no interest in understanding it in detail. After entering Xiaxiaoqi, there was no delay. After seeing the official residences on the two routes, we went straight to Shangxiaoqi, but unexpectedly discovered the beautiful rural scenery on the Ancient Tea-Horse Road. The ancient tea-horse road in Xiaoqi, every grass and tree, every flower and road, every electric pole and every school gate, all gave us two office workers who came out of the steel forest a stunning feeling. Shangxiaoqi has fewer tourists than Xiaxiaoqi, and more indigenous people than Huangling's "Tiyun Renjia", which reflects the authentic Hui-style village life atmosphere.
I rushed from Tunxi to Xiaoqi and slept until nine o'clock. It is customary for homestays to not have breakfast, but the fact that the whole village did not have breakfast really drove people crazy...
Xiaoqi has received high praise in various travel notes. The highlight of Xiaoqi is still the three sculptures, but the ancient buildings in the villages we visited today were basically closed.
Shangxiaoqi has a bit of a paradise feel, but it takes a long walk along the rural road
I heard that it was difficult to go to Qingyuan Road, and I was afraid that I would go straight to the north line, so I rushed to Jiangwan for dinner.
So the biggest gain was actually the dawn of the chrysanthemum.
Xiaoqi is highly recommended! One reason: Xiaoqi is divided into two villages, Shangxiaoqi and Xiaxiaoqi, connected by an ancient road in the middle. Walking on the ancient road can bring you a lot of beautiful scenery; in addition, unlike Jiangwan, which lacks ancient charm due to neat planning, Xiaoqi does not have that kind of wide and straight main street. Here you can still feel the classical beauty of Huizhou architecture! Walking through the narrow alleys protected by tall and mottled horse head walls, you can easily find the original beauty of the building itself in a corner!
Walking into the Xiaoqi ancient village, you will see the simple and elegant Ming and Qing dynasty dwellings, the winding and quiet streets, the ancient trees that cover the sky, and the wild, green and windy natural environment. You will feel that "it is so wonderful that I can't believe it".
Xiaoqi is divided into Shangxiaoqi and Xiaxiaoqi. When you enter from the entrance, you will first arrive at Xiaxiaoqi. To be honest, there is nothing much in Xiaxiaoqi. It is basically for shopping. The only attraction is the century-old camphor tree. Walking along Xiaxiaoqi, you can see a quiet ancient road, which is the only way to Shangxiaoqi.
Shangxiaoqi is very peaceful, like a paradise, built by the water and surrounded by mountains; the houses are simple and elegant, and the streets are winding and comfortable. There are yellow chrysanthemums, wood carvings, and porcelain here. There is also a pavilion at the entrance. Sitting in it, blowing the wind, listening to the sound of running water, and watching the farmers fetching water passing by, it is comfortable and cozy.
It depends on personal preference. I prefer shopping streets with local characteristics, quiet narrow paths leading up and down the street, various cauliflowers and fresh vegetables blooming on the roadside, and clear rivers beside the houses. These will make me stop in my tracks.
It's not amazing enough. A small river runs through the village, and the green mountains and countryside look like a paradise against the blue sky. The huge camphor tree is the biggest highlight.
Can I give it a zero? Who knows, this attraction is not worth a dime.
A very quiet little village, bamboo rafting experience 15 yuan per person
It is not recommended to spend time to visit this scenic spot. It is divided into Shangxiaoqi and Xiaxiaoqi. Shangxiaoqi has some old houses and former residences, and there are not many people when I go there; Xiaxiaoqi is more commercialized, and there are many small shops along the way, selling some products.
It is on the same line as Likeng, but slightly smaller in scale and equally quiet, making it a good place to sit down and rest.
There are a lot of chrysanthemums in Xiaoqi Village, so when you walk into the village, you can see every household selling chrysanthemums along the way. In addition, there are also special woodworking: wooden tables, wooden chairs, wooden coffee tables, etc. The fragrance of wood lingers in the entire village.
Chrysanthemum planting base, Xiaoqi] "Ancient trees, high and low houses, setting sun, distant and near mountains, smoke from the forest tops, water outside the village like a ring", if Wuyuan is a large green park, then Xiaoqi Village is a wonderful Hongcun scenery. View China's most beautiful sandbar, the best place for photography
The ancient village is very nice. It is worth going to experience China's ancient traditional culture and thoughts. The rural scenery is also good.
When we were returning to Jiangwan from Qingyuan, we passed Xiaoqi but we didn’t go into the village (Xiaoqi is one of the attractions included in the combined ticket). We just parked on the side of the road and took a few photos of the scenery of Xiaoqi, which was still very beautiful.
I don't know why they charge 60 yuan per person? 90% of the people inside are selling things that can be bought at tourist attractions all over the country. The only attraction is a few big trees. After going around the exit, you have to walk a section of the road to get back to the parking lot. Hehehe
Don't buy chrysanthemum tea from the cooperative store at the entrance of Xiaoqi Scenic Area. They are unscrupulous merchants. When I bought it, it looked like there were a lot of chrysanthemums in it. Later, I asked the store to mail it to me, and when I got it back, there was only half a can of chrysanthemums left.
When you come to Wuyuan, just go to Jiangling and Huangling. If you have time, go to Qingyuan Village. Whoever goes to the other attractions in the combined ticket will regret it. Xiaoqi is full of vendors from the moment you enter the door. It is a very narrow alley with vendors on both sides. When you finish walking through the alley, you will see a big camphor tree and a rapeseed field behind it. That's it. What a waste of time and energy!
I took a photo, nothing much to take
If Xiaxiaoqi is like a commercial street selling trinkets, then Shangxiaoqi is the paradise described by Tao Yuanming. There is an ancient post road between Shangxiaoqi and Xiaxiaoqi, surrounded by clusters of flowers. Shangxiaoqi has relatively few tourists and is relatively quiet, suitable for strolling slowly and taking photos. If you are tired of the crowds, then come to Shangxiaoqi to experience the full charm of ancient Huizhou.
The village is completely commercialized, but the ancient camphor trees on the hill behind the village are pretty nice!
It is divided into two villages, Xiaxiaoqi and Shangxiaoqi, where you can visit old houses such as "Jinshidi", "Daifudi" and "Rongludi". "Xiaxiaoqi" is highly commercialized, with many vendors selling tourist souvenirs and chrysanthemums. Most tourists just stroll around "Xiaxiaoqi".
If you walk 500 meters along the country road to Shangxiaoqi, you will find the simple folk customs and beautiful environment there, and you will believe that Xiaoqi's reputation as an "ecological home" is not in vain. (The foot of the mountain is Xiaxiaoqi) The simple and elegant Ming and Qing dynasty houses, the winding and quiet streets, the bluestone-paved post road, the green and clear natural environment, the ancient trees that cover the sky and the earth, Xiaoqi, where man and nature are one, can be called an ancient cultural ecological village with unique charm in China.
It was included in the pass, and I had just enough time, so I went to take a look. After entering the gate, I walked through a long commercial street, and then there was a field path leading to the village inside. I liked it very much. I walked around the village inside, it was very quiet, and I quickly walked back the same way. There was nothing special. If you have more time, you can come and take a look, but if you don’t have much time, there is no need to come.
I went to Xiaoqi while watching the rapeseed flowers. It was just so-so, not as good as I expected.
Xiaoqi Village is divided into Upper Xiaoqi and Lower Xiaoqi. Upper Xiaoqi has hillside pastoral scenery, while Lower Xiaoqi has water surrounding the village. An ancient post road connects the two villages.
I didn't include Xiaoqi in my trip to Wuyuan this time, because after in-depth research on Wuyuan strategies and personal preferences, I only planned to go to Qingyuan, Jiangling and Huangling. It was just that I went to Jiangling early, and there was nowhere to go in the afternoon, so I went to nearby Xiaoqi, but I was disappointed. Xiaoqi is divided into Xiaxiaoqi Village and Shangxiaoqi Village. After entering, I first went to Xiaxiaoqi, but it turned out to be a shopping street. I thought it was a prelude, and there would be good scenery waiting later. It turned out that after playing in Xiaxiaoqi, I saw a small road to Shangxiaoqi, about a few hundred meters. There was a small piece of rapeseed flowers on the small road, and then I arrived at Shangxiaoqi. There was a river in the middle, and the houses on both sides were ancient and not ancient. There was nothing to see, just a few very old houses, and the rest were newly built. It took more than ten minutes to visit. It's a rip. There is no need to come to this place. It's better to see the free Shangxiatan Village or the free village under Jiangling on the road.
There were so many low-scoring reviews that I wanted to give up, but fortunately I insisted on going. The most beautiful scenic spot on the east line. Highly recommended! !
The local customs and practices are good, but the scenic spots are usually in the village, and the locals often block the road to charge fees, which is not good.
To be honest, I don't seem to have much of an impression of it. I just remember there was a big tree and a lot of stalls for buying things.
I have beautiful memories here and I like this place very much. Although I missed the season when the rape flowers were in full bloom, there were few people here.
The ancient village, which was once peaceful and green, has now become a large commercial area with only a few camphor trees at the entrance. Not recommended.
It is divided into Shangxiaoqi Village and Xiaxiaoqi Village, which is very worth visiting.
There is no special scenery in the whole Wuyuan, which is basically promoting the special products, camphor wood chrysanthemum, Hui-style architecture, and ancient houses of Ming and Qing dynasties. The landscape is too repetitive.
There is an ancient camphor tree in the scenic area.
The actual experience is very general
Did I go at the wrong time?
It is a village with simple folk customs. It is not easy to find food. Shangxiaoqi is more beautiful than Xiaxiaoqi. Accommodation at Ligentang is more affordable.
We stayed in Xiaoqi Village for two nights. There were many places to take photos in the village. Although some of the houses were dilapidated, they were still intriguing.
Too commercialized, every household sells chrysanthemums. A shopping place that requires tickets. There was a grandmother selling jelly at the exit of the scenic area. She was very honest. She told us some local characteristics. 2 bowls of jelly for 5 yuan, with some homemade osmanthus and sesame candy, it was great! You can touch the big old tree.
Xiaoqi is one of the towns under the jurisdiction of Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. It is a national agricultural ecological demonstration village. It is the hometown of Jiang Renjing, the salt commissioner of Lianghuai in the Qing Dynasty. It was built in 787 AD. Other meanings: Li Shangyin's poems, Wen Tianxiang's poems, Yun Ge's ancient poems.
Although I missed the fields of rapeseed flowers, they were still incredibly beautiful.
Xiaoqi is divided into upper Xiaoqi and lower Xiaoqi.
Xiaxiaoqi is a heavily commercialized village, with chrysanthemums sold everywhere. After all, this is the main production area of chrysanthemums.
Shangxiaoqi is far away, and you have to walk a distance from Xiaxiaoqi to get there. It is said that commercialization there is not so heavy, but we did not go there this time.
There are a few old houses in Xiaoqi that are worth seeing, but there is no need to come here if you have been to Sixi.
There is also an ancient camphor garden, in which there is a very thick camphor tree, which is still solid inside.
If you have time, it's okay to go shopping. It's a street of small commodities.
Xiaoqi is divided into Upper Xiaoqi and Lower Xiaoqi. When you enter the scenic area, you go to Lower Xiaoqi first. There are shops for buying things and stalls selling food. If you like shopping, you can take a closer look. Walking along the road is Upper Xiaoqi. I think Upper Xiaoqi is the part worth seeing, but it takes some time to walk in and out. Half a day is basically enough.
Xiaoqi Village, due to time constraints, did not stay too long. But the ticket office in Wuyuan is right next to the entrance of the restricted area of Xiaoqi Village. After buying the ticket, you have to go to the entrance of Xiaoqi Village Scenic Area to enter your fingerprint. Then you have to use the ticket to enter the scenic area by swiping your fingerprint. The ticket pass is 210, group purchase is 180, and it is valid for three days. Including Jiangling, Wangkou, Xiaoqi Village, Jiangwan, etc. ~ Xiaoqi Village is full of gray and white Hui-style buildings. The village has a strong commercial atmosphere and various shops. Accommodation and restaurants are also available.
The tranquility of Shangxiaoqi Village is in sharp contrast to the commercial atmosphere of Xiaxiaoqi Village. This small village in the valley has maintained its ancient style, and the leisurely stone road seems to take you back to the past. The small bridges, flowing water, and elderly people basking in the sun in front of their houses in the village will make you feel that everything is so slow and so peaceful.
Shangxiaoqi is nice, quiet, few people and nice scenery
Xiaxiaosi is full of vendors, noisy, small and crowded.
However, you must first pass through Xiaxiaoqi before you can reach Shangxiaoqi
Xiaoqi didn't seem to see a place to pick up tickets online, so it is not recommended to put it at the first stop of the pass attraction.
At dawn, the commercial area is heavy with small shops. There is a famous big camphor tree to see.
There is a village across a field. It is said on the Internet that there are farmers working in the fields on weekdays.
Unfortunately, it was raining heavily (moderate rain) when we came, and the village was very deserted.
You should live here. On the way there is the filming location of I Am Not Madame Bovary. There are two villages. It is not commercialized. You can calm down and take a good look.
Xiaoqi is the second to last stop on the Wuyuan East Line Tour. It is the hometown of Jiang Renjing, the Lianghuai Salt Commissioner in the Qing Dynasty. Xiaoqi, which was first built in 787 AD, is a shining pearl of Wuyuan's cultural and ecological tourism and has been rated as a national agricultural ecological demonstration village. Xiaoqi Village is divided into Shangxiaoqi and Xiaxiaoqi. Xiaxiaoqi is more commercialized, with shops selling camphorwood and tea, while Shangxiaoqi is completely different. It is an ancient Hui-style ancient town with quaint fragrance, white walls and black tiles.
It's still relatively primitive, but there are too many things for sale, so it still feels a bit commercial.
The five stars are for Xiaxiaoqi. Shangxiaoqi is too commercialized. Xiaxiaoqi is still very flavorful and basically not damaged. There are much fewer tourists than Shangxiaoqi. In my mind, it can be said to be second only to Qingyuan.
As soon as we entered the village, an old man in the pavilion asked us if we needed a tour guide. We asked the price, which was very cheap. The old man was from the village and explained it himself. I was very grateful for his detailed explanation. Some people on the roadside listened and asked questions, and the old man answered them all. It was very good. If it weren't for the old man's explanation, I might have just walked around and didn't have much impression of Xiaoqi Village. Now I like this village and its history and culture very much.
A very beautiful small village in Wuyuan, Jiangxi, suitable for viewing red leaves in autumn or rapeseed flowers in spring
There are many historical plants here, such as camphor, yew, etc., but they feel average.
In fact, it is not much different from the small rural areas in Zhejiang. The natural scenery is not bad, but there are no special sights or places that are particularly surprising. The photos taken by National Geographic magazine made Wuyuan famous and it is known as the most beautiful village in China, but to be honest, it is not much different from living in my grandmother's house in the countryside. Of course, it is suitable to go there to relax after staying in a big city for a long time. . It's okay after the pictures are edited
The upper and lower floors are not very big, and the lower part is full of old houses.
Shangxiaoqi is not bad. It's a small village. When I went there during the off-season, there was no one there, so it was nice to wander around.
The biggest highlight of Xiaoqi Ancient Town is the big camphor tree. Then I went to the town to buy various handicrafts. The service was very good. I recommend Xiaoqi's camphorwood boxes, which are very beautiful.
Xiaoqi Village was first built in 787 AD. It is located at the junction of Duanxin River and Xiaoqi River, 45 kilometers northeast of Wuyuan County. It is divided into Upper Xiaoqi and Lower Xiaoqi. The first resident was Wang Wanwu. It is the hometown of Jiang Renjing, the salt commissioner of Lianghuai in the Qing Dynasty. It was first built in 787 AD. It is known as the "No. 1 Village of Chinese Tea Culture".
Compared with Likeng Jiangwan, Xiaoqi's scenery is not very distinctive, but the scenery is still good. If conditions permit, it is recommended to start from Xiaoqi and head towards the county town, because it is more convenient to go back to the east line scenic area.
You have to swipe your card to enter the village. This is really the high-tech entering the countryside! Not recommended for visiting
The first attraction when entering Wuyuan Scenic Area is Xiaoqi. At that time, I felt that people living in this place were so happy.
A very quiet little village. The village is very small and quite far away.
It's a very quiet little village, it feels very good and has a strong cultural atmosphere.
#晓起#, from Baidu Encyclopedia, Xiaoqi is the hometown of Jiang Renjing, the salt commissioner of Lianghuai in the Qing Dynasty, and was built in 787 AD. The simple and elegant Ming and Qing residential houses, the winding and quiet streets, the bluestone-paved post roads, the green and clear natural environment, the ancient trees covering the sky and the earth, and the harmony between man and nature in Xiaoqi can be called an ancient cultural ecological village with unique charm in China.
Xiaoqi is divided into Upper Xiaoqi and Lower Xiaoqi. It is said that the most famous thing here is the Xiaoqi yellow chrysanthemum. The whole village sells yellow chrysanthemum, tea, and camphor wood.
When I entered Xiaoqi Village, I suddenly felt the urge to shop, so I bought two combs and some miscellaneous jewelry in the long shopping corridor. The main reason was that the aunt selling things was very sincere. I couldn't help but want to buy more things.
You have to cross a long village road to get to Shangxiaxiaoqi. Compared with Shangxiaoqi, Xiaxiaoqi is more down-to-earth and less commercialized.
I went there to buy things.
After visiting Jiangling, the sun had already set, so we drove to Xiaoqi to stay. There is a nearly thousand-year-old camphor tree here, which is worshipped as a sacred camphor tree. We hurriedly visited it, solved the problem of food and clothing, and ended a successful day like this.
Actually, it's not interesting. Xiaxiao is full of commercial vendors, and Shangxiao is a small cobblestone road.
Go buy a pack of Xiaoqi Huangju, at least the color is attractive
It is quite commercialized and you can only travel around!
Xiaoqi has two parts, Upper and Lower Xiaoqi. This time I was in a hurry, so I only visited Lower Xiaoqi. Most of the houses in Xiaoqi Village were built in Ming and Qing Dynasties, each with its own unique style. The Ancient Trees Garden gathers more than a thousand ancient camphor trees, rare large-leaf red nanmu trees and national first-class tree species, the southern yew. The main specialties are Xiaoqi chrysanthemums and various camphor wood products.
Xiaoqi is a place for shopping as soon as you enter it, but I don't like it very much. Going further in is Xiaxiaoqi, a very narrow alley with all kinds of shops opened by local residents on both sides, selling chrysanthemum, pickles, camphor wood combs, various teas, snacks, and awnings on top, which I feel a little depressed. After walking out, there is a long country road, and then walking past is Shangxiaoqi.
The village of Shangxiaoqi focuses on the humanistic atmosphere and has preserved many ancient buildings, which are worth a visit. Xiaxiaoqi is an antique-style commercial village.
It's such a pity. When we went to Xiaoqi that day, we brought our elderly family members with us, so we only entered the gate of the scenic area and walked through the shopping street. The scenery in the village should be nice, but unfortunately the elderly family members couldn't walk, so we accompanied them out. We felt that the village was nice.
Xiaoqi has two treasures, camphor trees and Xiaoqi royal chrysanthemums. Lower Xiaoqi is more commercialized, with many shops. Walking along a bluestone road, you will reach Upper Xiaoqi, which is more primitive. When I went there, some people came here on foot from Qingyuan Village, saying that they walked for three or four hours.
Xiaoqi is actually two villages, Shang Xiaoqi and Xia Xiaoqi, which are connected by a section of the Huihang Ancient Road, so they are designated as a scenic spot.
Xiaxiaoqi, located at the entrance, is too commercialized, even more so than Likeng. The alleys in the village are lined with shops, and every household is doing business. Going back to the exit, you have to walk through a corridor of stalls that is several hundred meters long. How can you not get bored? You just want to pass by quickly and have no time to appreciate the old houses.
Compared with Xiaxiaoqi, it is much quieter and more leisurely. Although it is also located next to the water, the waterway in Shangxiaoqi is wide and can be called a small river. There are people washing clothes, washing vegetables, and killing fish by the river, which is full of life.
