The park has beautiful scenery and charming views. It borders Zhongshan District of Dalian City to the north and Bangchuidao Scenic Area to the southwest.
The park is surrounded by the sea on both sides, with a coastline of over 1,200 meters. Its main natural landscapes are mountains, forests, blue sea and grasslands.
Two wonders: One is the "Eighteen Bends" where the road surface looks like a silver ribbon drifting towards the seashore, known as the "Undersea Grand Canyon"; the other is the "Strange Slope" where cars go up and down the slope in a return state, which is very interesting.

It's a beautiful seaside park, but if you enter from the south gate during peak season, you'll be stuck in traffic. If you enter from the north gate, it's a long walk to the train's starting station, Guaipo. I wonder if it could be improved to move the train's starting station closer to the north gate?
Haizhiyun Park is located in the easternmost part of Dalian Seaside Scenic Area, facing the sea on two sides, connected to Dalian's Zhongshan District in the north, and Bangchuidao Scenic Area in the southwest. The park has beautiful scenery and charming views. The coastline is more than 1,200 meters long. It is a seaside park with mountains, forests, blue sea, grassland and other natural landscapes as the main features.
I have a very good impression of this park.
First, there is no ticket, just 30 yuan for the round trip by electric car (it feels very worthwhile to sit down)
Secondly, the seaside scenery is beautiful, and there are three main spots where electric cars stop, all of which are very unique.
The first is Rising Sun Square, the highest point in the park and the best place to overlook Bangchui Island.
The second place is a strange slope. When you step on the accelerator on a slope, it will go backwards. It is very strange.
The third place is the underwater canyon, where various underwater animals and plants are made into sculptures, all of which are very large. In my eyes, it is simply a seafood avenue. After walking this road, I really want to eat seafood.
Because there is no entrance fee, many local families come here to play, because there are steep slopes and the route is very long. The 20-kilometer wooden plank road is the world's highest record.
For tourists visiting Dalian, taking an electric car is the best way of transportation.
Haizhiyun Park is adjacent to Dalian Bangchuidao Scenic Area, with Dalian Bay to the north and free to the public. A round trip by electric car costs 30 yuan. In addition to the north and south gates, there are only two stops in the middle: Sunrise Square and the tunnel. The observation deck at Sunrise Square is a good place for taking pictures. There is a strange slope in the park. If the car does not step on the accelerator, it will automatically slide slowly from the low point to the high point. The theory of gravity cannot explain it. It is said that it is caused by the abnormality of the earth's magnetic field or the deviation of visual judgment of height. There are many beautiful sculpture walls composed of marine life sculptures in the park, which is different from most other parks in China.
You can take tram 201 directly to the top of the mountain. It is a long and rugged mountain road, and it is very tiring to climb to the top of the mountain. If you go in midsummer, it is recommended to go after 4 o'clock, otherwise the sun will be very strong and it will be very hot.
There's no entrance fee, and it was quite crowded that day, mostly families with many children. It's built on the mountain. There are two entrances: I entered through the subway station, and the other is the Bangchuidao entrance (I think that's the name). The two entrances are quite far apart... The entire tour is quite long, with some uphill climbs and downhill descents. The park offers a tour bus. I took the bus down the mountain, which cost ten yuan per person.
You can take the subway directly to Haizhiyun Square. Since it was so early in the morning, there were few people around, and the area was still under development, so it felt a bit desolate and scary. Following the map, we headed towards Haizhiyun Park, where Sunrise Square, the best viewing point for Bangchuidao Island, is located. The entrance to the park is a steep slope, and my mother and I were a little nervous. We finally asked the guy at the gate to drive us to Sunrise Square. I forgot the price, but while it wasn't expensive, I wouldn't recommend it, as it only takes about half an hour to get there. Consider it a good morning exercise!
As we came down, we slowly started to see people. The park was very safe and the air was fresh, perfect for early morning exercise. It was nice to walk and take photos along the way!
It's okay, a coastal city with a nice night view.
A good place for a walk. Although a little tired after the walk, it was great. There is a poem on the side of the road that fits the artistic conception very well with "half mountain, half water, half sky". It's probably like this~ The small square at the top is a great place to watch the sunrise. The name "Xuri" should have this meaning.
Dalian Haizhiyun Park, close to Bangchuidao Scenic Area, is a seaside park with beautiful natural scenery.
Walking all the way from Bangchuidao Island, the sea is a different kind of beauty every few steps. The sun is a bit scorching, but there are shade trees and rest areas everywhere on the trail. Halfway through, we passed a sunrise square with beautiful scenery, and you can see the Golden Stone Beach a hundred miles away. The sea breeze was strong and transparent. Walking to the end, there are turns back and forth, and each turn has a realistic shape of marine life, covering basically all common marine life, even marine mollusks and echinoderms. One woman even danced while walking in this jungle of sunshine, sea breeze, winding mountain roads and marine life...
Of course, the most exaggerated thing is the very bold sculpture on the roadside, two fat people, a man and a woman, naked, and some of their organs are really too cute haha. I looked at them carefully for a long time hehe, and the sound of a group of girls laughing could be heard from the sightseeing bus speeding by on the roadside
Adjacent to Bangchuidao, there is a large park where you can ride electric cars.
There are wooden plank roads along the way, and the scenery is pretty good. If you are tired, don't go there, there is no big point.
There's no entrance fee to Haizhiyun Park. It has two gates: the North Gate and the South Gate. The North Gate is closer to the city center, while the South Gate connects to the Bangchuidao Hotel Scenic Area. We recommend entering from the South Gate. There's a round-trip electric car for 30 yuan per person, which takes you directly from the starting point to the end point. On the return trip, they stop at each scenic spot for explanations. We entered from the North Gate by taxi, but ended up only buying a one-way car for 20 yuan per person. The car only took us from the North Gate to the South Gate. We took in the scenery from the car, which arrived in 10 minutes. We didn't have the energy to walk back, as the next stop was Bangchuidao, which is right next to the South Gate. Haizhiyun Park is quite large. Formerly known as Donghai Park, it's said to boast attractions like Haizhiyun Square, Eighteen Bends, Strange Slope, Divine Axe Rock, and Tengu Rock. However, since we only took the electric car, we didn't see anything. We only saw the starfish and seal decorations on the rock faces along the way. We wanted to see Bangchuidao from Haizhiyun's higher point, but due to the heavy fog in Dalian, we didn't see anything, which was a pity. Sitting on the battery car, you can see the strange marine life rocks on the wall.
After lunch, we headed straight to Haizhiyun Park, as the 200 yuan morning fee included a round-trip electric car ride. Haizhiyun Park is quite large, and its main attraction is the coastal scenery, with the main attractions being the Eighteen Bends and the Undersea Grand Canyon. However, I personally feel that if you're already visiting the Jinshitan Geological Park the following day, you won't need to visit Haizhiyun to see the coastal canyon. Haizhiyun Park feels underdeveloped, with no toilets installed, only the open-air, makeshift ones, which are awfully dirty.
Walking along the coastal road into the park, I chose to hike up the mountain. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the top of the mountain, which is about 200 to 300 meters high. The climb is not very tiring. Along the way, there are various seafood posing in various shapes. The so-called seafood is a variety of fish, shellfish, mollusks, lobsters, crabs, etc., which adds a lot of fun and attractions to the boring scenery. You can also take a sightseeing bus from the entrance. It takes about 10 minutes and costs about 10 yuan each way, which is very suitable for tourists with weak physical strength.
After forty minutes of effort, I finally reached the top of the mountain. One side of the road was lined with spacious wooden plank roads, which were very comfortable to walk on. At the top of the mountain, you can see the vast East China Sea and many small islands. They are like pearls inlaid in the sea, with different postures and incomparable beauty. Among them, Sanshan Island and Bangchuidao are the most famous. Sanshan Island is basically invisible for half of the year because the mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, blocking the view of Sanshan Island. It happened to be cloudy these few days, and Sanshan Island just revealed its true face, the sea and the sky were one color, and the East China Sea was right in front of you.
The mountain forests are lush and verdant, overflowing with life, with no bare ground visible. The air here is incredibly fresh, refreshing, and inviting. It's rose season, and the fragrant blossoms along the roadside add a touch of color and a touch of comfort to visitors.
Along the way, there are sculptures of some marine life, and there is also a strange slope, but there are few cars and I didn’t see it in place. From the top of the strange slope, you can overlook Bangchuidao Island.
The Sea Rhythm Park is right next to Bangchuidao, so you can play there together. It is recommended to take a battery car. You can get on and off at any scenic spot with your ticket. You can overlook Bangchuidao from the Rising Sun Square. The view is still good. You have to sit in the car to experience the strange slope... The Grand Canyon under the sea is suitable for taking pictures.
As soon as you enter the park, you're greeted by a swirl of negative ions. The air is incredibly fresh, with a gentle sea breeze caressing your face. The sun is shining brightly, and so is your mood. There's a strange 55-meter slope here—your eyes will trick you!
The marine animal museum in a natural oxygen bar is awesome!
Rhythm of the Sea Park, also known as East China Sea Park, boasts attractions such as the Undersea Grand Canyon, Eighteen Bends, Weird Slope, and Rising Sun Square. The scenic area boasts breathtaking sculptures, fresh air, proximity to the sea, and lush vegetation. Enjoy a two-hour to full-day experience, and bring your own tent for camping and picnics. It's also a great spot for hiking and jogging, stretching 7-8 kilometers. Its southeastern end borders the Bangchuidao Scenic Area.
A certain mayor's masterpiece, now everything has changed
It's nice to come here to see the sea, especially the beautiful seaside promenade.
Standing atop Hai Zhi Yun Mountain and gazing out into the distance, Bangchuidao's breathtaking natural scenery greets you. Here, the landscape is breathtaking, the vast ocean shrouded in a thin morning mist, appearing and disappearing. The first rays of sunlight bathe the earth, and the mountains, the sea, and the island create a uniquely beautiful landscape painting. I love this morning view of the ocean. Standing on the long wooden viewing path, the gentle sea breeze sweeps by, leaving me lingering and captivated.
One day during my late pregnancy, my husband and I went for a walk on Bangchuidao Island. I remembered this park, but after renovations, it's completely different from when I was little. The entrance to Haizhiyun Park is right next to the entrance to Bangchuidao Island, up the hill. The park is free, but the distance is a bit long, and there are many electric carts parked at the entrance. The driver, noticing my bulging belly, suggested we take one. My husband and I ended up taking the cart for 30 yuan each. Actually, walking the entire distance wouldn't take long; three hours would probably be enough. The scenery is quite nice, with views of the ocean and plenty of flowers and plants lining the park path. The most unique feature is the wall at the end of the park, decorated with various marine life. It's a great place to take the kids. Highly recommended!
Donghai Park is pretty good, let's review it! I've read many reviews, some saying it's difficult to get to by bus, some saying the bus is difficult to reach, and some saying the north gate is closed or under construction. Nothing is clearly stated here, so I'll explain how to get there. If you take the bus from the city to the south gate, get off at Shanping Street. There are four intersections, and then you can walk straight across the road from the bus stop. It takes at least 50 minutes to reach the park, which is quite far. If you don't want to walk, you can take a 14-yuan taxi. The park is connected to Bangchui Island, so you can visit both together. However, you can clearly see Bangchui Island from the top of Haizhiyun Park, so you don't have to go there. Everyone says the park is beautiful, but the only thing you can see are the animals and sculptures along the mountain path. The only thing you can see is the Eighteen Bends, which has many sculptures of various marine life. There's also the Rising Sun Square on the hillside where you can see the ocean, but there's nothing else to see or do. You can take a bus tour, and the full round-trip is 30 yuan per person, while the half-trip is 10 and 15 yuan. The strange slope isn't strange at all. When the tour bus arrives at the slope, it stops, turns off the engine, and drives in reverse for a short distance. I looked closely and saw that the automatic reverse position is high enough to stop the engine and drive backwards. It's a bit deceptive. Walking from the south gate to the north gate (the full tour) takes two or three hours. It's very hot and tiring, and there's not much to do or see along the way. I mentioned it was beautiful before, but I don't know why. Perhaps it's because of different appreciation levels. It's free here. Bus No. 13, which terminates at Dalian Railway Station, is a five-stop stop from the north gate. You can visit Venice Water City, which could be a tourist attraction.
Every time I go on vacation, I always like to choose lesser-known but truly fascinating attractions, like this time at Ocean Rhythm Park. The name "Ocean Rhythm" comes from the several kilometers of mountain trails lined with sculptures of marine life. Conchs, shells, hermit crabs... even octopuses and sharks fighting each other—all incredibly lifelike.
Hai Zhi Yun Park does not require an entrance fee. You can walk the several kilometers of mountain roads or take one of their electric carts. The round-trip fare is 30 yuan per adult and 10 yuan per child. Using WeChat to scan the QR code offers a discounted price of 25 yuan per adult. Only one ticket can be purchased per phone.
There are very few restrooms at Hai Zhi Yun. The only one I know of is the one at the entrance (next to the parking lot). You can use the restroom here before entering the mountain road or getting on the battery car.
Not worth coming here, bad attitude, nothing good. The staff are operating in secret.
Enter from the north gate of Haizhiyun Park and walk to the beach of Bangchuidao Island. Return by shuttle bus. The south gate of Haizhiyun Park is adjacent to the main gate of Bangchuidao Island.
A taxi from Dalian Station to the main gate of Bangchui Island costs 24 yuan. Our tour order was 1. Bangchui Island 2. Ocean Rhythm Park 3. Venice Water City 4. Russian Style Street. The first 1, 2, and 3 activities are quite tiring, so be prepared and bring some snacks and drinks. After visiting the first three activities, take a taxi from Venice Water City to Russian Style Street for 10 yuan.
Suggested tour order:
Take the subway or bus No. 13 and get off at the Haizhiyun Park stop, which is the park's north gate. Enter the park's north gate and explore the park on foot. Exit the park's south gate and enter the Bangchuidao Gate (the two gates are adjacent). After visiting Bangchuidao, take a shuttle bus from the Bangchuidao beach to the Bangchuidao Gate. Then, take another shuttle bus from the Haizhiyun Park south gate back to the Haizhiyun Park north gate for a less tiring experience. This is a two-way shuttle bus, serving both parks. The one-way fare is 10 yuan + 10 yuan. Take bus No. 13 from the Haizhiyun Park north gate and get off at Gangdong 5th Street to reach Venice Water City. From Venice Water City, take bus No. 13 to Shengli Bridge to reach Russian Style Street.
We took a taxi from Dalian Railway Station to Bangchuidao, first visited Bangchuidao and then entered Haizhiyun Park, and then went from Haizhiyun Park to Venice Water City. So we walked the whole way and it was really tiring.
This is the first place I visited when I went to Dalian. When we went there, we arrived very early and got free admission. I wonder if it is still free if we go early in the morning now.
This is an attraction that is not recommended for tourists. It is suitable for locals to go hiking and walking on weekends. If you don’t have much spare time in Dalian and want to see the sea, you’d better not go. Visiting Haizhiyun Park will consume a lot of time and energy, and you can’t see the sea most of the time.
Very suitable for group training, hiking, running, the environment is very good
Hai Zhi Yun Park is located on a section of Binhai Road because, nestled between the mountains and the sea, with its ups and downs, and the possibility of strolling along the beach, it's the perfect spot for fitness and breathing in the negative oxygen ions. Every Saturday and Sunday, Dalian locals gather with friends and family to hike and picnic here. Once a salt marsh, it has been renovated and transformed into a popular attraction for both locals and outsiders alike, a fact the government deserves praise for.
Every morning before 6:30 AM, crowds of photography enthusiasts gather here. Watching the sunrise over the sea is truly admirable and moving. I asked a few friends, and they said the sunrise at Rising Sun Square is probably one of the top three best views in Dalian. First, standing at Rising Sun Square offers an unobstructed view, with the sun instantly leaping out over the sea. Second, it's high and quiet, and the morning air is incredibly fresh. I haven't been there yet, but I'm looking forward to trying it myself and witnessing the sunrise from Rising Sun Square.
Standing in Haizhiyun Park, you can overlook the Donggang Business District, home to the Haichang Venice Water City, the majestic cruise ship terminal, and the beautiful Donggang Music Fountain, which performs every night. You can also get a panoramic view of Bangchui Island, perhaps the best place to admire it. Sanshan Island in the distance is also stunning against the backdrop of blue sky and white clouds. A park is not only a place of history, but also a place for national fitness, relaxation, and beautiful scenery.
When you enter the park, you can see many models on the wall along the way, including fish, sea cucumbers, abalone, conchs, sharks, and many other models. They are very realistic and the children like them very much. However, they are almost all uphill roads, and the slopes are relatively large, so you have to wear very comfortable shoes.
My favorite place is Haizhiyun Park. There's no entrance fee. The park is quite large, and cars aren't allowed inside. After entering, you can take a sightseeing bus.
The park has beautiful scenery, fresh air, and overlooks Bangchuidao Island. There are not many tourists because many tour groups do not arrange here.
There are many places to take photos in the park, and the plank road is very long, so it is best to wear light and comfortable shoes. In the summer, you should also wear sunscreen.
Haizhiyun Park, formerly known as Donghai Park, is located in the easternmost part of Dalian Coastal Scenic Area, covering an area of more than 450 hectares. It is 10 kilometers away from the city center, facing the sea on both sides, connected to Dalian Zhongshan District in the north, and Bangchuidao Scenic Area in the southwest.
The park boasts stunning scenery and captivating views, with a coastline stretching over 1,200 meters. Its primary natural landscapes include mountains, forests, azure sea, and grasslands. The 7.6-kilometer route offers two highlights: the Eighteen Bends, a winding path across mountains and ridges. The scenery is unique, with the roadway resembling a silver ribbon drifting toward the seashore, earning it the nickname "Undersea Grand Canyon." The other attraction, beyond the Eighteen Bends, is the "Strange Slope," where cars experience unusual uphill and downhill conditions, creating a fascinating and captivating experience.
My favorite scenic spot, suitable for self-driving, with beautiful scenery along the way. The park's underwater canyon is beautiful, with various marine life, fish and shellfish sculptures, which are great for taking pictures.
Natural oxygen bar, and Eighteen Strange Slopes, a very natural park, by the sea @
Hai Zhi Yun Park is right next to the Bangchuidao Scenic Area. There's no entrance fee, but there are tourist bus tickets available for 30 yuan round trip and 20 yuan one way. If you're more energetic and have more time, you can skip the ticket and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the boardwalk. I personally recommend walking to the end and then taking the bus back there. This way, you can enjoy the scenery without wasting time. The first stop is Rising Sun Square, a great observation deck offering a panoramic view of Bangchuidao. Unlike the view from the Bangchuidao Scenic Area, you can see three islands in the middle of the sea. According to a knowledgeable old man, they've been hollowed out. Then there's the Strange Slope. The driver stops at the lowest point and then reverses back to the highest point. The driver said you wouldn't feel it walking. Then there's the Eighteen Bends, a steep, winding downhill slope with many large seafood statues along the way. Wrong, they're actually large ocean statues. At the end gate, there is a large conch statue with the words "Undersea Grand Canyon" inscribed on it, which means I really want to get in. At the end gate, I just need to take the bus back to the gate. If I want to go to Venice next, I don't have to go back to the gate.
It's well worth a visit. The northern section of Binhai Road runs through it, including the Undersea Grand Canyon, Guaipo, Eighteen Bends, and Rising Sun Square. You can also hike up a mountain. The entire walk takes about two hours, not including stops. Sightseeing buses are available. If walking, it's recommended to start at the south gate, as the second half of the walk is downhill. To complete the entire route and fully appreciate its beauty, it's recommended to spend half a day to a full day. This section is the most crowded of the four sections of Binhai Road, and offers the best scenery. If you'd like to experience the scenery of Binhai Road on foot but find the entire route too long, the northern section, Haizhiyun Park, is highly recommended.
If you like hiking, it is highly recommended. The road up and down the mountain is very good.
Vehicles are prohibited from entering Haizhiyun Park. To ensure the safety of citizens and property, the park is open to the public free of charge. 1. The roads within Haizhiyun Park are rugged, especially the steep and winding Eighteen Bends Mountain Road, which is prone to accidents. All motor vehicles are prohibited from entering the park after the park reopens. 2. Citizens are advised to visit in a civilized manner, take care of all public facilities within the park, and refrain from climbing any sculptures or rock faces. 3. Protect the greenery and landscape, and refrain from littering.
Haizhiyun Park is located on the northern section of Dalian Binhai Road. The west gate is the north gate of Bangchuidao Hotel, and the east gate is Dalian Donggang. Walking along Binhai North Road from west to east, the park is approximately 4,500 meters long, with continuous ups and downs, making it a great workout! The park is relatively simple, with only the Eighteen Bends Strange Slope and the Underwater World, as well as several other small theme parks. Haizhiyun Park is free and you can walk directly into the park for exercise. However, please note that the road to the Underwater Canyon is very steep, with the slope rising in the west and falling in the east, so please be careful if you are cycling. Haizhiyun's west gate leads to the main entrance of Bangchuidao Hotel. Transportation is limited to taxis and private cars. Bus No. 536 runs from the East Gate, running from the Conference Center to the East Gate of Haizhiyun. Buses run very frequently, about half an hour apart. The duration of the visit depends on your walking speed. It is recommended to come during the day. The lights in the park are dim at night, which does not delay your walking. However, there are many worth-seeing views in the park that you cannot see clearly. There are no restaurants or shopping centers around Haizhiyun Park. The Donggang area has not been fully repaired, and many houses are still unoccupied and rather desolate!
Before going to Dalian, I looked up Dalian Haizhiyun Park on the Internet. I must go and see it when I arrive in Dalian. I took the new tram from Dalian Railway Station and got off at the end. Then I took the old tram for a while and finally found Dalian Haizhiyun Park. But when I got there, it was completely unrecognizable. It is said that Dalian Haizhiyun Park has been developed into high-end residential areas.
We bought the ticket at the entrance to the park, which included the entrance fee and the sightseeing battery car. First, we saw a long wooden plank road with good greenery on both sides, then the viewing platform overlooking the sea, and then we saw the marine animal world built on the mountain, which was quite beautiful.
The park is geographically located a little far away, but it has beautiful scenery, pleasant views and is very clean. You can enjoy the sea view from a distance and visit various artificial sculptures. It is the best place for natural scenery tours, but it has high requirements on physical condition and personal physical strength. It is suitable for exercising here. If a road leading directly to the beach can be opened, it will attract more tourists. In addition, if a convenient route is opened, it will attract tourists of all ages and will be more attractive to people of different physical strength and different ages.
I went there just to try to ride the tram to the end. The environment is pretty good.
When you drive out of the gate of Bangchui Island, you will see Hai Zhi Yun on the left. The park is free. We bought a round-trip sightseeing bus ticket for 30 yuan. You can get off the bus to visit two scenic spots in the middle.
The environment is very nice, it's worth a visit!
In the morning, we arranged a visit to Haizhiyun Park. The scenery here is very good. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can see Bangchui Island in the fog. There are a lot of negative oxygen ions here, and the air is fresh. There are also statues of various sea creatures on the mountain.
It is recommended to walk up the wooden plank road beside the road. There are mountains on one side and the sea on the other side. It is very beautiful and enjoyable.
The Sunrise Square and the Eighteen Bends are both very beautiful. The park is very large and clean.
Haizhiyun Park, formerly known as Donghai Park, is located in the easternmost part of Dalian's coastal scenic area, 10 kilometers from the city center. It faces the sea on two sides, bordering Dalian's Zhongshan District to the north and the Bangchui Island Scenic Area to the southwest. The 7.6-kilometer route offers two highlights: the Eighteen Bends, a winding path across the mountains, offering a unique landscape with a commanding view of the roadway, resembling a silver ribbon drifting toward the seaside; and the "Strange Slope," a scenic spot beyond the Eighteen Bends where cars ascend and descend in an unnatural manner, creating a truly bizarre scene.
The parks and squares in Dalian are all very beautiful. The Haizhiyun Park is very impressive. The winding mountain road is lined with sculptures of marine life on both sides.
The seaside scenery here is beautiful and charming. There are scenic spots such as Eighteen Bends and Strange Slope. You can also see the panoramic view of Bangchui Island. It is worth a visit, but the transportation is not very convenient.
The park is beautifully landscaped, but I think it's best for children, as there are many sculptures of marine life on the cliffs. Our children loved taking photos! The park also offers a beautiful view of Bangchuidao Island.
Hai Zhi Yun is surrounded by the sea on both sides. The park is free, but you need to take a sightseeing bus to go to several attractions inside. I remember the whole journey is nine kilometers, and the sightseeing bus costs 20 yuan per person.
Arrive at Haizhiyun Park and enter Binhai North Road. Motor vehicle access is restricted here. Sightseeing buses are available at the park entrance, costing 20 yuan one way and 30 yuan round trip.
The tour guide said that the entrance fee to "Ocean Charm Park" is 20 yuan per person. That is the ticket for "Bangchuidao State Guesthouse". "Ocean Charm Park" is free, and the two are also in different locations (criticizing the "black guide" here). After getting off the bus, there are two roads. The horizontal one on the right leads to the guarded iron gate, which is the "Bangchuidao State Guesthouse", which is the 20 yuan per person one. There is also a road going up the mountain. There is a huge rock with "Ocean Charm Park" engraved on it. This is the road. Unfortunately, the rock is too flat and many people can't see the words on it. So they are asking around. The author also sent his sister to ask the ticket seller (the one who sells tickets at "Bangchuidao State Guesthouse"), and was told that there is no free park (angry)
Once you enter the park and walk in, you'll soon reach the wooden boardwalk. The entire 20.99km long boardwalk along Binhai Road is made entirely of imported Russian Scots pine, which is corrosion-resistant and of high quality. The section at "Sea Rhythm Park" is also about 4km long. You can't go wrong if you follow the boardwalk; the only difference is the distance. Along the way, you'll pass the "Ekien Garden," a Japanese-style garden. Midway, there's the "Rising Sun Square," where you can take photos of an island (the fog was still thick at sea on the 30th). The tour guide explained that this island isn't "Bangchui Island," and that only on that island can you see the mallet-shaped stone pillars of "Bangchui Island." That island, however, is the State Guesthouse. In short, this is the most beautiful sight I've seen on this trip to Dalian!
The mountain wall sculptures of Shibapan are very local in character.
I've lived in Dalian for eight years, and this is my favorite place, bar none. Walking along the coastal path, through the woods and wooden boardwalks, the moment I see the azure sea and blue sky, everything freezes.
The scenery is beautiful. This is a good place for weekend picnics. Be sure to prepare some dry food before going because there is no place to eat in the scenic area. It is more convenient to take a taxi here, or those who like hiking can choose to take the bus.
After renovations, Dalian Haizhiyun Park has become a free public park and is now part of Binhai Road. The park boasts several plazas, a unique slope, and the Eighteen Bends Undersea Canyon. Visitors can enjoy hiking and sea views.
The ticket to Haizhiyun Park is 10 yuan. Although the driver told us that we didn’t have much hope for Haizhiyun Park, we were still quite excited when we saw the statue of the big conch after entering the park. I felt that although the park was under renovation, there should still be some scenery to see.
The park was under construction when I arrived, so I could only stand on the dirt slope covered with flowers and look at the sea.
To get a bird's-eye view of Bangchuidao Island, go to the Sunrise Square in Haizhiyun Park; sit in reverse on the sightseeing bus; and don't walk the world's longest plank road alone.
By the time we reached the north gate of Hai Zhi Yun, we were already feeling hot and tired. The man trying to attract customers made a sarcastic remark to every visitor entering through the north gate: "You can't finish the whole tour in an hour. The popular attraction is closed. It's better to take a boat tour. Whoever leaves will regret it."
We plan to go through the southwest gate of Haizhiyun and go directly to the north gate of Bangchuidao. There is no turning back now, so let's grit our teeth and get started.
I checked the navigation: North Gate - Undersea Canyon - Giraffe Sculpture - Station Garden - Big Ant Sculpture - Rest Garden - Fun Garden - Southwest Gate. I didn't go to Chenxi Beach, Sunrise Square, or Shengxiang Tianmen Beach. It took 10:45-13:30, 2 hours and 45 minutes (the navigation showed 48 minutes), and was 3.2 kilometers.
I can't say that the navigation system was deceiving me. The road was indeed steep and I didn't see the legendary shuttle bus.
It was very hot, and even though we occasionally went into the woods to block the sun, or the sea breeze brought us some coolness, we still felt like we were about to be dried out at any moment.
We continued along the winding trail. Fortunately, the park's scenery was quite pleasant, with sculptures and bay views popping up from time to time along the way. Giant sharks, starfish, and cuttlefish gave the child, already on the verge of tears, a sense of purpose. The faint shadows of the mountains and the sea gave me hope to continue.
【Knowledge Points】
The once charming Haizhiyun Square (not Haizhiyun Park) has now become the "Donggang Leisure and Business District," where the 2024 Summer Davos will be held. Haizhiyun Park, on the other hand, is more of a place for locals to relax and stroll, so a special visit is unnecessary.
The park is free, with Line 2 Haizhiyun Station at the north gate. About 4 kilometers northwest of Yanganglong Road is the bustling "Venice of the East". The southwest gate of the park and the north gate of Bangchuidao are only separated by a road. We use it as the middle area connecting Donggang and Bangchuidao, but the hot weather and heavy load make this transition a bit "excessive".
