It is the first imperial mausoleum in Chinese history. Its huge scale and rich funerary objects rank first among all the imperial mausoleums of all dynasties.
The mausoleum was built in the shape of a Chinese character “回” (Chinese character for “U”) in accordance with the principle that Qin Shihuang would enjoy wealth and honor even after his death. It was modeled after the layout of Xianyang, the capital of the Qin Dynasty.
The large-scale ground buildings that have been discovered in the mausoleum area include the remains of the sleeping hall, the convenience hall, the garden temple and the official residence.
Due to the limited archaeological technology, the Qin Shihuang Mausoleum has not yet been excavated, and tourists can only see a tall tomb surrounded by mountains.

This ★ is for the tour guide's hard work. It was quite hard work. But Mr. Yang, one of the discoverers of the Terracotta Warriors, really gave me a big slap in the face. Thank you. It made me understand that I will not buy Leslie Cheung's autograph in the future! Everyone must remember this!!
There are their guides inside, just follow them~
The park is very large but there is only one carriage pit to visit.
On New Year's Day 2012, I went on a self-guided trip with my college classmates. My first impression was that it was spectacular.
It's just a small hill. When you reach the top, you can see the surrounding fields.
I think the Terracotta Warriors are worth seeing to see how our ancestors conquered the world, but you should also watch the large-scale performance of the Qin Terracotta Warriors. You won't regret it after watching it.
The imperial mausoleum is very large, and the only burial pits that can be visited are a few, similar to Pit 3 of the Terracotta Warriors.
The large-scale ground buildings discovered in the mausoleum area are the remains of sleeping halls, convenience halls, garden temples and official residences.
The Terracotta Warriors is an additional attraction. It takes 10 minutes by free bus. It is just a small earthen hill with a monument in front, but you can't see anything.
In order to save money, I didn't take the tour bus. I walked step by step until I was sweating all over.
It's just a big stone, nothing to see.
There's not much to see, just the big mound of earth and the memorial tablets.
It is normal to feel bored without preparing for your lessons first. It is better to watch documentaries at home. However, there is a feeling called "pilgrimage", just like watching Mount Kailash on TV ten thousand times will not bring you salvation.
There is a free shuttle bus from the Terracotta Warriors security checkpoint to the foot of the mountain. A four-character tombstone, a hilly cemetery and two funeral exhibition halls are also quite meaningful. Moreover, this place can get rid of a large number of tourists who find it boring and allow people to think quietly.
Without development, it is just a piece of dirt. I hope to have the opportunity to see its true face.
It's just like what the tour guide said, this place is boring to go to, and I will miss it if I don't go.
But it's nice to feel the atmosphere.
The local tourism model is also good, and the tour guide's explanation is also very good.
The attraction itself has no special highlights, it is just a hill. The ticket is included in the ticket for the Terracotta Warriors, and there are buses in the park that go back and forth between the two places. It is recommended to go and see it if you have time.
It is said to be an imperial tomb, but it has not been excavated yet, so it looks just like what the tour guide said, a loess slope
Speaking of tour guides, it was quite interesting. After we took the free shuttle bus to the entrance of the imperial mausoleum, there was a short-haired girl who claimed to be a tour guide. We were very careful not to be cheated, after all, we saw several tourists being abducted along the way. We were a little bit skeptical about the existence of free tour guides, haha, but later it turned out that we were overthinking this.
Maybe the scenic area officials also think that if no one takes you there, you won't be able to understand the imperial tomb at all. After all, it's just a dirt slope.
Also called Lishan Garden, you can take a free shuttle bus from the Terracotta Warriors. We drove instead, as there were far fewer tourists here, and even the prices in the scenic area were much lower.
Also because we don’t dare to dig now, there is only a “pile of earth” here.
The imperial mausoleum has not been excavated, and the attractions are only for you to view around the imperial mausoleum. We chose a 15/person sightseeing bus to go around the mausoleum. If you are in a hurry, you can skip the imperial mausoleum itinerary.
You can take a bus from the Terracotta Warriors, it's very close, but it's just a big park. There are things underground, but we don't dare to excavate them now.
Recommend or not
Reasons for not recommending: The big empty park, only this monument is visible. Don't come if you don't have enough time.
Recommended reason: The guide 001 spoke with passion and emotion, and instantly gained many fans. It is also very interesting to listen to a story about customs in the imperial mausoleum, a good place surrounded by mountains and rivers. I agree with everyone's opinion. First go to the imperial mausoleum to listen to the gold medal explanation, and then visit the Terracotta Warriors, you will have a different feeling.
There are many pomegranate trees in the garden, and I like the name of its flowers, Chang'an flowers.
I went there when I had enough time, and it was a big surprise. The explanation was amazing, and it was free! I really want to ask the No. 3 guide to take me around the Terracotta Warriors... ps. I don't recommend taking the sightseeing bus, there is no explanation on the bus, and you can't see any scenery, but it's quite cool to blow the wind.
If you are short on time, it is recommended that you don't go here. First of all, the waiting time for the bus is quite long. Secondly, there is really nothing in the scenic area, it is just famous.
It was really spectacular! The feeling on site was completely different from what I saw on TV.
The place where the glorious history of the Qin Dynasty is buried, the magnificent Terracotta Warriors and Horses Pit, you will feel extremely shocked when you walk in, it is recommended to ask the tour guide to explain
Arriving at Liyuan, I found that this was the worst day. There were only a few empty pits inside, and there was basically nothing. By the way, you must take an electric car. The garden is very large, the sun is very strong, and it is very tiring to walk by yourself. It costs 15 yuan per person, and you can use it unlimitedly in the garden. Going to Liyuan is a waste of time. There is nothing to see. After seeing it, you have to queue up from Liyuan to take a bus back to the Terracotta Warriors, and then queue up to take a bus back to the city. There is no off-season for super popular attractions like the Terracotta Warriors, so there are many pitfalls. Everyone must check the precautions on the Internet in advance and be prepared. The Terracotta Warriors is also an attraction I will visit again. At present, many places are under development and have not yet been opened to the public, so it will be more spectacular after being opened to the public in a few years.
There is a free shuttle bus between the Terracotta Warriors and the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum, which takes 8 minutes to get there. Don't think that the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum is just a tomb. You won't know anything when you go to Xi'an. It's time to learn some history. The guide at the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum is very professional. Although he likes to argue with people, I strongly recommend spending 1.5 hours to learn about history. Be a person with cultural background.
There are really a lot of people. Seeing this scene, I can't help but sigh: there are really a lot of Chinese people, plus foreigners, it's really amazing! !
My first feeling after seeing the Terracotta Warriors: The Qin Empire was so majestic, with its technology, structure, and... (forgive my limited Chinese proficiency)
Included in the Terracotta Warriors ticket, take the free shuttle bus from the Terracotta Warriors to get there, there is nothing inside, it's a rip-off. There is a underground palace next to it, the ticket price is 80
Although it is just a mound, there are free guides. It takes 5 minutes to get there by shuttle bus from the Terracotta Warriors. When you get off the bus, there will be guides to organize you to visit. There are some taboos and small stories in the cemetery, and it is very large, so it is not good without explanation.
It's a place you have to go if you want to see the Terracotta Warriors, but it's quite boring. Fortunately, I took a sightseeing bus, which costs 20 yuan per person. Otherwise, I would have walked until my legs were weak.
It is one of the relics in ancient Chinese history that is worth visiting.
You can only feel it when you are there, so it is best to learn more before you go.
Or you can listen to the introduction of the scenic spot tour guide, so that you can have a deeper understanding.
Because it was a package with the Terracotta Warriors, it felt beyond my expectations. I only saw the people at the Terracotta Warriors. You can take the free shuttle bus from the Terracotta Warriors to go there. As soon as you get off the bus, there will be a guide to take you in. It is free in the scenic area. The guide said that because the people who didn't invite the guide said that the imperial tomb was not worth seeing and was just a hill, the scenic area specially provided tourists with voluntary explanations, but they could choose not to listen. Each guide has different focuses, but they will talk about the most important things. Our 007 guide is very humorous, give him a thumbs up! When I went out, I also met Mr. Yang, the discoverer of the Terracotta Warriors. Remind tourists, be careful when buying Terracotta Warriors. Baidu "Terracotta Warriors" and you will know. Pay attention to the placement of the purchased items! Don't be greedy for some things, you must go to regular places to get invoices. Finally, I wish you all a happy journey! Happy New Year! Hahahaha
It mainly depends on the explanation. If you just go there, you can't see anything. It's just a small mound.
Comments can't be more than 1,000 words! Not only am I being long-winded, there are so many things worth saying and wanting to say! Why don't you just go and read my travel notes?
My travel notes↓↓↓
2018 6 days (3 days of sleeping in the morning haha) take my mother to leisurely visit Xi'an http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/8349786.html
Xiaobai talks about how to avoid those "pitfalls" when traveling in Xi'an in 2018 http://www.mafengwo.cn/note/create.php/modify/?id=291130152
PS. The flow of people in off-season and peak season is very different. The left picture is my own visit at the end of January, and the right picture is my friend's visit during the Spring Festival in February. Orz
It is sad and beautiful. Walking in the cemetery feels like traveling back in time.
There are too many people and the tickets are a bit expensive. Only Pit No. 1 is better.
It's actually a grave. Pay special attention to the artificial scenic spot next to it. Don't go there. It's expensive and a rip-off.
As a tomb that has not been excavated, it is really just a mound of earth. It takes 40 minutes to go around and there is nothing but the scenery of the cemetery. The so-called free tour guide provided by the free shuttle bus is just to take you to the shopping point to buy jade and autographed books. It is better to spend more time at the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and ask for an explanation.
There are many people on holidays, so we went there at nightfall. There are tall earth mounds and two burial pits. The rest is roads. You can measure the height and circumference of the earth mounds on foot! Feel the hugeness of the mausoleum!
It's a large cemetery with a one-ticket ticket that includes pick-up and drop-off, and a tour guide. There are many cultural relics and history in the cemetery, but shopping is not included.
Thousands of people and thousands of faces, it is also a must-visit place for tourists in Xi'an, mainly to experience that period of history. . There is absolutely nothing to see if you want to see the scenery.
It looks very impressive, but I always feel that I don't like this kind of attraction, it's too gloomy
Where can I find a tour guide? If you go, you must spend 15 yuan to take the battery car after entering the gate, otherwise you will get dizzy. It takes you to visit 3 pits, which are really "pitfalls". Just look at Fengqiu and walk straight for 300 meters. There are pomegranate trees on both sides. Is the pomegranate juice in Huifang from here? It is worth praising that the air is very good.
It's together with the ticket of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses. There's nothing to see, so you can ignore it.
Alas, actually if the underground palace could be dug out and opened, it would definitely be 5 stars, but now it's only 3 stars
Will everything in the sun, moon, mountains, rivers, and sky, and everything running on the earth be included in it?
The guide's explanation was good. Since it was newly discovered, it was a bit regrettable that we couldn't visit it.
It's a bit far from the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. There is a special air-conditioned shuttle bus to get there. It was very deserted there. After entering the door, you have to buy a battery car ticket to go in. If you walk in, it's a long distance. I remember that the battery car ticket is 50 per person, which is very expensive... The temperature was 40 degrees on the day I went there, and I almost collapsed at noon... I didn't go any further... There is a stone tablet about 300 meters away from the door... I took a photo and it was enough to visit here...
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are available as a combined ticket, and there is a tour guide available for explanation.
It is relatively easy to get to the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum (the Emperor's Mausoleum is inside the Terracotta Warriors Museum). There are several buses that can get there (one of which is the Tour 5). It takes about 1 hour from the city to the Emperor's Mausoleum. Don't think that there are special tickets available. It is recommended to hire a tour guide (about 20 yuan/person). It will be very interesting to listen to the unofficial history. Everyone has different feelings about the Emperor's Mausoleum, and it depends on their attitude. The older generation admires it; the younger generation may have knowledge and understanding; foreigners feel strange and in awe. In any case, if you go to visit, please keep a respectful heart.
The guide was great (free), I learned a lot, thumbs up for the ancient wisdom
Actually there is nothing to see, just follow the guide and listen to the history and future prospects.
I really don't recommend it. There's nothing to see.
Buy the Terracotta Warriors and get a free ticket to the Imperial Mausoleum. There is a free bus to the Imperial Mausoleum when you come out of the Terracotta Warriors.
The garden is very big, but apart from the monument, there is nothing else.
The rest are trees and grass. I was so tired after walking there. It's really too big.
If I discover it in my lifetime, I will go there again!!!
There is no scenery to speak of here, but the guide's explanation is very informative (recommended guide No. 12)! I have read many guides before, but I don't know where to go, but everyone has their own opinions. I still recommend it.
I stretched before entering the door, but was blocked by a classmate. It was so embarrassing... The tour guide said that we cannot go back in here, and we should not look back.
One of the eight wonders of the world, you must go. It is far from downtown Xi'an, but it is convenient to take a bus. Beware of fake Terracotta Warriors.
It's probably just a park. You can't see much after walking around it. There are a few holes dug by robbers. It is said that there is a mercury river protecting the imperial tomb, and exploration is still ongoing.
I don't recommend going there. It's just a barren mountain. The monument was erected later and has not been developed. It's just a jade shop attraction!
They are all dark green plants with obvious geometric shapes. They are very stylish. But I weakened their historical value.
The imperial mausoleum is right under your feet, as you can imagine.
To be honest, the view is not very strong, and the scenic spots are very scattered. You need to take a sightseeing bus inside, otherwise it is really tiring. The only advantage is that the pomegranates sold outside are very cheap. You can buy them and eat them. They are not so cheap in other places.
The Terracotta Warriors ticket includes the Imperial Mausoleum ticket. After visiting the Terracotta Warriors, there is a free bus at the entrance of the scenic area to the Imperial Mausoleum. After getting off the bus, there is a free explanation of the Imperial Mausoleum.
The Terracotta Warriors and Horses affiliated attractions have not been excavated at all, and there are a few burial pits that can be seen.
The Terracotta Warriors are a must-see when visiting Xi'an. How should I put it? You will regret it if you go there, but you will also regret it if you don't go there.
I came here to visit the Terracotta Warriors as I bought a joint ticket. The area is very large, and the mausoleum has a lot of green plants and is well planned. There are green all over the place and the air is fresh. There are also two burial pits. If you want to visit both, it is recommended to take a battery car for the whole trip, which is 35/person.
Generally speaking, you can go in directly if you have a ticket to the Terracotta Warriors, and there is nothing inside or above.
It is so spectacular and shocking that it is hard to describe. You will know after you see it.
I really think the location is amazing, and the mountain behind it feels like there is a fairy-like aura.
The Imperial Mausoleum and the Terracotta Warriors Museum are combined tickets, so they can be considered as additional attractions. There is a shuttle bus from the Terracotta Warriors Pit, and there are also battery cars in the scenic area. However, because I stayed in the Terracotta Warriors for too long, I came here very late, and the battery cars were off work. I hurriedly ran around by myself, which was considered fast, just a visit.
2016.04
It was a very big hill, and I was so tired that I didn’t have the energy to walk around it.
Anyway, no matter whether you are interested in history and culture or not, it seems that you must feel the shock and legend of this history when you come to Xi'an...
It's just very big, but there's nothing to see. It's worth mentioning that the tour guide of the imperial mausoleum, I still don't know if I was deceived. It's hard to say...
The resting place of Zulong. "He exerted the remaining strength of six generations, and ruled the world with his long strategy. He swallowed up the two Zhous and destroyed the princes. He was supreme and controlled the world. He whipped the world with his whips and whipped the world. His power shook the four seas." He unified the writing system, the weights and measures, and unified the world. He was truly the greatest emperor in history! Our country has gone through more than two thousand years of ups and downs, and has always been unified. Zulong has made great contributions! What is rare is that Zulong's mausoleum has never been successfully excavated after more than two thousand years of changes. Perhaps there is a blessing from heaven.
