Taibai Mountain National Forest Park

In early April, I hiked to the Tianyuan Square.

It was a short holiday for an outing. I had planned to climb to the top to watch the sunrise, but the nature reserve was not open at the moment, which was a bit of a pity. I brought a down jacket, warm pants, a 600ml thermos cup, 100g beef jerky, 2 chicken legs, 5 ham sausages, a bottle of Pulse, an apple, two chocolates, gloves, masks, newspapers, wet wipes, tissues, band-aids, a selfie stick, a camera, a music player, etc. The music player was quite useful. Since I was alone, it was more relaxing to listen to music.

Book the hotel and scenic spot tickets in advance. Departing from Baoji, the last intercity train to Meixian leaves at 6:30, with a train every 25 minutes. The last train to Taibai Mountain leaves at 6:30. I stayed at Yunqi Youth Hotel at the foot of the mountain the night before. It was very cozy. The bed room cost 58 yuan for a single room without a bathroom, which was much cleaner than the round bed room at Meixian Vanke Hotel for 160 yuan.

At 8 o'clock in the morning, I went to the visitor center to get the ticket, took the mountain car into the mountain and started the trip. At 8:35, I came down from Lianhua Peak and visited the Three Kingdoms Plank Road. At 9:30, I took the car again from Pomo Mountain to the end of the ride. The climbing time started at 10:20. Along the hiking trail, the snow accumulated all the way up, which was very beautiful. I walked and stopped, looking at the snow under the sunny sky, which was very dazzling. It was sunny all the way up the mountain, but it was actually very tiring. I planned to take the cable car down. When I felt that I couldn't walk anymore, I motivated myself. I arrived at Tianyuandifang at 2:30, and saw all the small mountains. I watched the scenery and took pictures for more than half an hour. There was a little snow on the top, so I started to prepare to go down the mountain. There were a lot of people queuing at the cable car, so I decided to go down by myself. At the same time, it was hard to get a bowl of instant noodles in the scenic area. Fortunately, I brought enough food, so I didn't taste the high-altitude instant noodles. If I could enjoy it, I could bring my own hot pot, which was fragrant. There were thunder, snow, and rain all the way down the mountain. I thought it would be very cold on the top of the mountain. I arrived at the boarding point around 3:40. There were so many tourists. I queued for more than 40 minutes and finally got on the bus down the mountain. I changed buses once on the way and arrived at the scenic area square at 6 o'clock. It was almost the last bus time. I took bus 203 to Meixian County. After dinner, I stayed at the Vanke Theme Hotel, posted a status, took a shower, and had a good sleep on the big round bed. When I woke up, my legs and feet were sore. I took a rest and went to Dayehai next time.

One day is like four seasons, and I have many feelings. I hope everything will be as lucky as climbing a mountain, with beautiful scenery everywhere.

Taibai Mountain, now a national forest park, has an altitude ranging from 620 meters to 3767.2 meters. It is the highest national forest park in China. From bottom to top, it is divided into three landform types: low mountain area, middle mountain area and high mountain area, with different shapes and characteristics. The low mountain area is covered with loess and is a deciduous broad-leaved forest belt; the middle mountain area is a coniferous forest belt; the high mountain area is a shrub belt and meadow belt and retains glacial relics. It is now the most complete Quaternary glacial relic in China, and has formed many unique glacial lakes on the top of the mountain.

Taibai Mountain is the main peak of the Qinling Mountains and the highest peak in Shaanxi Province. It has always been famous for its high altitude, strange and mysterious characteristics. It is the dividing line between north and south China. In particular, the various landforms carved by the Quaternary glacial activities are well preserved and clearly discernible. The top of Taibai Mountain is 3,767 meters above sea level. It is the highest mountain in the eastern part of mainland my country, with a relative height difference of more than 3,100 meters. The top of the mountain is covered with snow all year round in midsummer. "Taibai Snow in June" is one of the eight scenic spots in Guanzhong.

Mount Taibai is covered with snow all year round, which is unique and spectacular, and has always been praised by literati. From spring to autumn, wild flowers bloom in the middle and low mountains, with colorful leaves and fiery red fruits hanging on the branches. The top of the mountain is covered with snow, shining silver, and can be seen for hundreds of miles, which is particularly magnificent. The temperature on the mountain is 5-15 degrees Celsius lower than that at the foot of the mountain. It is an ideal place for summer vacation, vacation, scientific research and teaching. It is worth visiting again and again.

Taibai Mountain is really beautiful... After taking the cable car up, the altitude has reached 3,600 meters... I actually had altitude sickness... headache, uncomfortable! But the scenery at the top of the mountain is really great! Ninja took a lot of unforgettable photos... and then came down! Next time I go, I will do my homework and try to go to Dayehai!

It’s better to go in July or August. I went in November but the cars to the scenic area had stopped, so I had to give up my original plan of climbing to the top of Taibai Mountain!

I personally think that the most beautiful part of Taibai Mountain is the primitive forest and the remains of the Quaternary glaciers. From Tianyuanfangxi to the back, there is a pure natural mountain road. Although it is not convenient for sightseeing, it preserves the pure nature. Now there is still a long corridor from Tianyuanfangxi to Xiaowengong Temple. I personally think it is superfluous and unnecessary.

When I arrived at Taibai Mountain, I felt a chill and quickly put on more clothes. It is strongly recommended to bring a warm water cup when going to Taibai Mountain. It is very cold on the mountain, especially if you stay overnight. It is best to bring a hiking stick, which will be very useful later. Fortunately, I was able to buy a discounted ticket at that time, which was 105 yuan.

Then there is the famous Aotai Line in the outdoor circle, which is also the route with the highest number of deaths every year. Everyone must do it according to their ability. We are glad that we did not choose to cross the whole route, otherwise we might not be able to get out. The regular tour of Taibai Mountain is the Forest Park. Going up, separated by the Xiaowengong Temple, is the Nature Reserve. The road is difficult to walk, there is no signal, the altitude is high, the temperature is low, and there are few support points. The distance and hiking time of each supply point in the reserve can refer to the route map I gave above. This time I regretted that I only brought one trekking pole out, and in order to reduce the weight, I did not wear knee pads.

We set off at 9:30 and arrived at the scenic area service center at 11:00. We quickly bought tickets and lined up for the scenic area bus. Key points: Starting from the National Day in 2018, the ticket price of Taibai Mountain Scenic Area was reduced to 90 yuan/person. You must buy a scenic area bus ticket to go up and down the mountain, which costs 60 yuan/person for a round trip (it should be that hiking and self-driving are not allowed, and the mountain road is full of big bends. No pedestrians were seen the whole way). It takes about 20 minutes from the entrance of the scenic area to the first scenic spot by bus, and the scenery along the way is average.

Standing on the Jichang trail of Mount Taibai, watching the sunrise, I was so excited that I was incoherent. The mist was like a gauze dress covering the mountains. Such a majestic body was so gentle and charming at this moment, shrouded in mist and haze...

The scenery is nice and the travel route is well planned. You can experience it yourself and save energy by taking a sightseeing bus. But I am not physically fit and I was too tired to go up to the cable car, so I got off. The only bad thing is that private cars are not allowed to go up, but there is no explanation at the entrance. The car drove inside and turned back to the door.

The park itself is very large. It takes a long time to get from the service area to the foot of the mountain. After that, you have to take a car and walk intermittently. However, the scenery in this part is not very amazing. There are some artificial plank roads and some vertical walls such as waterfalls and ink-splashing mountains. Everyone may feel differently. I personally think that it makes the itinerary a little loose. There is nothing special after climbing the mountain. There are trees all the time until the sky is round and the earth is square, and after entering the nature reserve, the view suddenly opens up. Even if it is raining, it still feels great. The accommodation environment on the mountain is a bit bad, but there is nothing to complain about as long as you have a place to stay.

After passing the ticket check at the entrance, there is the parking lot for vehicles inside the scenic area. This arrangement is very good. Unlike some scenic spots, you have to walk a long way along the commercial street before you can get a car.

The vehicle leaves when it is full. Before getting on the bus, the staff also gave everyone a leaflet about the cable car, which not only introduced the cable car, but also recommended three mountain climbing routes.

Along the way, there are dense forests and gurgling valleys. Perhaps it is because the mountains are rich in iron ore that the river water in the valley is light yellow. After half an hour of driving, the scenic area car stopped at the first viewing point: the parking lot of Lianhuafeng Waterfall. The altitude at that time was 1,180 meters. From here, you need to walk 1.3 kilometers to the second pick-up point. Along the way, there are several scenic spots such as Lianhuafeng Waterfall, Three Kingdoms Ancient Plank Road and Jianpi Peak. The end point is Pomo Mountain, and then continue to change cars to walk up the mountain.

The reinforced concrete Three Kingdoms Ancient Plank Road is a narrow path, only wide enough for two people to walk side by side in most places. On one side is a mountain wall, on the other side is a stream valley. The wide and flat mountain wall opposite the plank road should be the Jianpi Peak, which is as smooth as if it was cut by a sword.

The one-way ticket for Tianxia Cableway is 120 yuan, and the round-trip ticket is 230 yuan. You can pay with WeChat. The customer service center rents cotton clothes. There is a restaurant and a water boiler. If you don't want to drink bottled water, you can get boiled water here. When you get to the mountain, boiled water will be charged. The cableway ticket is valid for three days. If you go back and forth, remember to keep it well.

The cable car with a vertical height difference of 1,200 meters took us to the destination in about ten minutes. From the Red Birch Plain where we looked up at the blue sky, to the Tianyuandifang surrounded by clouds, it was a journey through beautiful scenery and also a journey through temperature differences. The summer heat at the foot of the mountain turned into a slight chill on the mountain within a few minutes when the cable car door was closed and opened again.

The cable car station at an altitude of 3511 meters has been completely wrapped in clouds and fog, with visibility less than 100 meters. There is only an occasional blue skylight and a vaguely discernible valley in the changing clouds and fog. The service facilities at the cable car station are very complete. The price of renting cotton clothes is the same as that of Honghuaping. Food is clearly marked and is not cheap. Many tourists choose to dine here. More tourists take Tianyuanfangdi as the terminal of the Taibai Mountain trip. Some people take the Tianxia cable car directly back to Honghuaping after viewing the scenery and taking photos at the top of the mountain. Some people will walk to the Fuyun Pavilion cable car 2 kilometers away to go down the mountain. Along the way, the vegetation began to decrease and the rocks became more and more.

After buying the tickets (including transportation within the scenic area), the weather was still good when I got on the scenic area transportation bus. It started to rain after driving for a while. When I arrived at the first scenic spot, Lotus Peak Waterfall, it rained heavily. The umbrella I brought was useless, so I had to buy a raincoat urgently. The rain stopped at 12 noon, and my clothes were soaked. After watching the waterfall, I walked through the Shuhan Ancient Plank Road and arrived at the second bus stop to take a bus to the Utopia Scenic Spot. Then I took a bus to Xiaban Temple to take the cable car to the top. This cable car goes directly from an altitude of more than 2,500 meters to Shangban Temple at an altitude of more than 3,500 meters. You can see a more obvious phenomenon of one mountain dividing north and south. If you don't take the cable car, you can also hike to the top, but we didn't try it. Follow the road on the top of the mountain and pass Tianyuan Square to reach the small Confucian Temple. Going further ahead are Dayehai, Eryehai, Sanyehai and other scenic spots, but according to the staff, it takes another three and a half hours to hike to the nearest Dayehai, so I had no choice but to give up.

Taibaishan National Forest Park is worth a visit, with nice scenery and relatively complete public service facilities. From the Taibaishan National Forest Park Service Center to Xiaban Temple and Shangban Temple, there are tourist buses to pick you up at each stop. You can get off at each stop to enjoy the sights. The scenic spots are quite concentrated and beautiful. Lotus Peak Waterfall, Zuiwo Stone, Pomo Mountain, Utopia, Tianyuandifang, and Shangban Temple are all good attractions.

The things are really expensive! Not to mention the five yuan for eggs, but it costs another two yuan to order boiled water after buying the things.

It rained heavily for four days and I finally made the trip. The scenery did not disappoint me, it was really magnificent!

Taibai Mountain National Forest Park (Taibai Mountain Baxiantai)

1. Transportation: Buy a ticket at the Xi'an Bus Station on the left in front of the Xi'an Railway Station (Xi'an→Taibai Mountain), the first bus is at 07:30 (starts in a rolling manner, leaves when full). The journey takes about 2 to 2.5 hours (there will be traffic jams on the way) to reach Taibai Mountain Tourist Service Center.

2. Ticket purchase: After getting off the bus, go to the Tourist Service Center to purchase tickets (entrance ticket 100 and round-trip ticket for the sightseeing bus 60).

3. Take the sightseeing bus and transfer to the cable car: queue up at the tourist service center to check your ticket and then take the bus. The first bus (about 20 minutes): after getting off the bus, walk to the Lotus Peak Waterfall, which takes about 0.5 to 1 hour. Then take the second bus (about 20 minutes): visit the Pomo Mountain (Three Kingdoms Ancient Plank Road) and the Utopia. Take the third bus (about 50 minutes): go to Honghuaping (transfer to the Tianxia Cable Car: one-way 130 → Tianyuandifang) or Xiaban Temple (transfer to the Fuyun Pavilion Cable Car: one-way 50 → Shangban Temple → walk to Tianyuandifang).

4. Hiking: Tianyuanfangdi → (0.5 hours) (gentle uphill) Xiaowengong Temple → (1.5~2.5 hours) (long and gentle up and down, slightly downhill, longer distance) Dawengong Temple → (1~2 hours) (steep slope first and then gentle up and down, longer distance) Dayehai → (0.5~1 hour) (climbing) Baxiantai. Tianyuanfangdi → Dayehai, about 7km away. There are two routes from Dayehai to Baxiantai (the left side is all stone, steep and almost no trace, the right side is longer and has traces), the stone road is not flat, and the route is not very clear. It is recommended that those who want to watch the sunrise should walk once during the day and go up the mountain in the early morning so that they can have a better understanding and be safer to avoid accidents.

5. Accommodation: Xiao Wen Gong Temple, Da Wen Gong Temple and Dayehai are just ordinary mountain climbing inns. Although they cannot be compared with hotels, they are already very good on a mountain with an altitude of 3000m. First come first served. Each inn at Dayehai costs 130 yuan. The cost of meals at the accommodation is relatively high. A bowl of noodles at Dayehai costs 15 yuan, and a stir-fried dish costs 50 yuan (some meat slices). It is very enjoyable and satisfying on the mountain. There is nothing to complain about. The toilets on the mountain are of course not as good as those on the plain, but they are acceptable.

6. If you do not arrive at Tianyuandifang before 10 o'clock to start your journey, it is recommended that you stay on the mountain so that you will not be too tired and unable to get down the mountain in time; you can get up early the next day to watch the sunrise and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery, which increases the chance of encountering good weather.

The only negative comment is that the tour bus drops you off at one place and you have to walk for an hour to get to the next stop!

The road is not easy to walk on, it is best to travel with a companion, so you can see the snow in June.

The scenery is nice and the whole journey is effortless. The weather was fine. It was suddenly cold when I got off the cable car, but it was not cold after I rented some clothes. #

I almost died of heat after coming down the mountain. I experience this all year round.

Due to time constraints, I only had one day to visit the temple. It was a pity that I didn't reach the top. Next time I have the chance, I will definitely climb down to the top to see the sea and the beautiful scenery above. It is well worth the visit.

The main peak of Qinling Mountains, the highest mountain in inland China, is worth a visit just based on these labels.

From bottom to top, you can appreciate the four seasons, with green trees, spring flowers and white snow all within reach.

There are direct tourist buses from Xi'an Bus Station to the tourist center, and there is a small town nearby where you can stay in a farmhouse.

The weather depends on when you go, and you often can't reach the top. The ticket price also varies depending on the opening conditions.

The sightseeing bus will let you get off at each stop and then transfer. The first few attractions are relatively small, and you can walk between some of the stops without taking the bus.

The nature reserve should be ticketed separately. The most common route to the top takes two days, including Xiaban Temple, Shangban Temple, Xiaowengong Temple, Dawengong Temple, Dayehai, etc. (After Xiaowengong Temple, you enter the nature reserve).

The mountain road is winding and rugged, and the scenery is particularly beautiful. Because it is a nature reserve, there are no man-made steps, which makes it more interesting to climb. After climbing to a certain height, it feels like walking in the clouds, which is great.

Go by yourself, I won’t tell you, just like drinking water!

Taibai Mountain is the highest mountain in the Central Plains. The highest peak, Baxiantai, is more than 3,700 meters above sea level. The best time to visit is July and August every year, when you can truly experience the temperature changes throughout the year. During the summer vacation, the mountains are full of flowers and the sea of clouds makes people feel like they are in a fairyland. In mid-to-late October, it is the first choice for many tourists who like to see snow scenes. Of course, if you want to climb Taibai Mountain, you should bring windproof clothes such as jackets, and high-top hiking shoes are best. The temperature difference between day and night is very large. As long as you are well prepared and have perseverance, you can also see the beautiful sunrise.

Take a mountaineering trip to the highest peak and enjoy the beautiful scenery that ordinary people can't see

At the entrance of the forest park, tourists who come to Taibai Mountain can stay and eat here. But they are all in the town. If you want to go to Taibai Mountain, you have to return to buy tickets and take a bus. The accommodation is scattered within 1-3 kilometers.

The scenery in the forest park is average. You probably spend most of your time walking in the woods. Occasionally, you pass by an empty sea of stones and can see the mountains below. From there, you can see all the mountains at a glance. It is also a place with better scenery. Those who are not interested in walking can take the cable car directly to the place 1.5 kilometers away from Xiao Wengong Temple.

Taibai Mountain is not far from the school, and I have been there two or three times by bike. Taibai Mountain is covered with snow in June, and you can still see snow-capped mountains in Shaanxi, which is very beautiful. When I was an undergraduate, I climbed Taibai Mountain with my roommate, but unfortunately I didn’t reach Dayehai (because I lost my roommate and went down the mountain to look for him). I heard that there are large areas of rhododendrons on Taibai Mountain, and I plan to go there again in the summer.

Taibai Forest Park is very worth visiting. Friends who are on a day trip can take a bus to visit three scenic spots after entering the scenic area, and then take the large cable car to Tianyuan to see the blue sky and sea of clouds, the Quaternary glaciers, and then go down the mountain along the plank road to the left, where you can see Baixiantai, the glass observation deck, etc., and then take the small cable car down the mountain to the bus station to catch a bus.

The scenery is very good, but people who are prone to motion sickness should consider it carefully. People who are not prone to motion sickness will also feel dizzy.

There are environmentally friendly vehicles in the low-altitude areas of Taibai Mountain. The drivers will stop at each scenic spot, and tourists will get off to visit, and then take the next car to the next scenic spot.

The staff told us that there was heavy fog at 3511 and we might not be able to see anything. They asked us if we wanted to go up. We had to go up, otherwise our trip would be in vain. Soon the clouds came and we had to change into down jackets. It didn’t matter if we were not prepared, as coats were available for rent here.

When the fog clears, I feel the poverty of my language and the scarcity of my vocabulary. I can only say "too beautiful"

Taibai Mountain National Forest Park has beautiful scenery and can be visited all year round. For ordinary mountaineering enthusiasts who want to climb to the top of Batiantai, the best time is July to August.

The organization and management are very good, and the scenery is also very good. But the price for two people to sleep in a single bed is 100 yuan per person, which is a bit bad.

It was hot in early summer at the foot of the mountain, but it was extremely cold in midwinter at the top of the mountain. I was still wearing short sleeves in the sun halfway up the mountain, using my clothes as a fan because it was hot; when I got to the top of the mountain, it started snowing and I was shivering with cold. It's a good tourist attraction, worth a visit, but if you want to have a good time, you need at least two days!

The sky was clear in the morning on May 1st, but hail and snow started in the afternoon

The mountain is a good mountain, but after more than three hours of snow and hail, we took the cable car back to Honghuaping and prepared to take a bus down the mountain. The staff did not do anything. There were more than three or four hundred people waiting in line for the bus. They did not maintain order or let anyone cut in line. We waited in line for more than two hours in the rain on the mountain. There were always people cutting in line. The staff was negligent.

We went there during the Qingming Festival in 2016. The weather was cloudy that day. Because the road ahead was all built with steps and so on, we took the new cable car directly to Tianyuandifang, and then rented coats to climb the mountain. The reason why it is called Taibai Mountain Reserve is probably because it is basically undeveloped. There are no protective measures such as railings on the road. What's more exaggerated is that it is already April, and I really didn't expect that there was snow on the road. The snow on the shady side has not completely melted, and the road is particularly difficult. I felt that my life was in danger at any time... It may be a bit exaggerated, but it is very slippery. It can be said that I was always in a state of fear on the way there. I stopped to rest and look at the scenery after walking for a while. There was a sea of clouds on one side and rocks on the other side, and snow in the distance... Specifically. We stayed at Dayehai at night. That location is a pit, and there is no direct sunlight, so the snow is particularly thick. I fell into it when I took a step, which is quite fun. One thing to mention is that because the road is covered with snow and melted water, my shoes are all wet, and I can really feel the biting cold when I stop. So if you go when there is snow on the mountain, you must consider this issue. I thought I would have enough rest to go home the next day. But the snow that night was so heavy that I felt like I could never go back.

The next day, when I woke up, the sky was clear, but there was almost a decimeter of snow around us... The heavy snow covered the road we came from, and the visibility was almost a few meters. We waited until a group of people left first, and then followed their footprints down the mountain. This road was really beautiful, so beautiful that I didn't want to leave, and I forgot all the difficulties when I went up the mountain yesterday. Although I took pictures, I couldn't capture that feeling at all. Only when you are there can you have that open and comfortable feeling. In fact, there is no logic in my nagging so much. I just want to remind everyone that if you are not so confident in your ability to walk outdoors, choose to go when it is warm. Although I have not been there in that season, I should not disappoint everyone. By the way, a week after I went home, there was a news report that more than a dozen students went up the mountain and couldn't come down... I feel lucky to be able to get down the mountain alive...

You will miss some scenery if you take all the cable cars. To reach the top of Taibai Mountain, you have to walk from Taibai Mountain National Forest Park into Taibai Mountain Nature Reserve. Taibaishan National Forest Park is located in Mei County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, at the northern foot of Taibai Mountain, the main peak of Qinling Mountains. The park covers an area of 2,949 hectares and has a forest coverage rate of 94.3%. The park is dominated by forest landscapes, with Cangshan Mountain and peaks as the framework, Qingxi and Bitan as the veins, and cultural relics dotted in between. The natural landscape and the cultural landscape are seamlessly integrated. It is a rare natural scenery tourist area in western China and is known as a green pearl in western China. It includes 10 scenic spots and more than 180 scenic spots. The park's altitude ranges from 620 meters to 3,511 meters, making it the highest national forest park in China.

Taibai National Forest Park connects more than 140 scenic spots in eight scenic areas with 40 kilometers of tourist roads and 28 kilometers of pedestrian tourist trails. Its main scenic spots are: Longshan, Fengshan, and Fengquan. You can enjoy the eight scenic spots of Mei County, Fengquan Shenze and Yudong Xianyin; climb the ruins of Tangzi City, Fengshan Peak, Fengquan Palace, Shengong Stone, etc.; pay homage to the Taoist Qingniu Cave, Taibai Yaowang Temple, Longfengshan Temple, Guanyin Cave, etc. All tourist hotels, commercial stalls, and amusement facilities are concentrated in this area.

In the two days in Taibai Mountain, I saw all kinds of weather and all kinds of wonderful things in Taibai Mountain. There are four seasons in one day, and the beauty and hard work coexist. After returning from Taibai Mountain, I no longer feel the danger of Mount Huashan, and after returning from Taibai Mountain, I no longer feel the difficulty of the Shu Road. As the dividing line between north and south China, walking on the narrow mountain road, touching the south and the north, feels like being in the center of the world. It is a holy place for hiking. The places above 3,000 meters above sea level are basically foggy, windy and cold, but the magnificent mountain scenery is absolutely inspiring. The facilities on the mountain are simple, so you must prepare enough food and water. It is suitable for the number of tourists to travel, and it is worth recommending.

Dayehai is definitely a great challenge. I personally think it is more difficult than hiking Mount Huashan. I have climbed Mount Huashan twice and tried Mount Taibai twice but never reached Dayehai.

This time, the group-purchased tickets were priced at 85 yuan, and the limited-time rush price was 79 yuan. It was a very cost-effective price. They also gave away tickets to the orchid garden, but this will be negligible for the formation of Taibai Mountain and we don't plan to go there. A group of six of us drove there by ourselves. We drove from Xi'an to the G30 of Xibao Expressway for almost an hour to the Lanjia Village Interchange. There was a sign to the Taibai Mountain Scenic Area. We drove down the highway for a while and arrived at the Tourist Service Center. Since there are more than 40 kilometers of mountain roads on Taibai Mountain, the vehicles required for self-driving up the mountain must be SUVs above 2.0 or standard business cars, and the driver's driving experience must be more than five years, so we can only park the car at the upper and lower service centers and take the scenic bus up the mountain, which costs 60 yuan per person round trip. The parking fee of 30 yuan a day and a night is a reasonable price. The road up the mountain is steep and tortuous. Fortunately, I didn't drive up the mountain by myself, otherwise it would be a big challenge for the car or the driver. The road is narrow, the slope is steep, and the bends are large. Various unfavorable driving factors are really challenging for the driver. It takes about an hour to drive along the road to the bus terminal Xiaban Temple (that is, the place where you can take the cable car directly to Shangban Temple). There are three scenic spots along the way: Lotus Waterfall, Pomo Mountain, and Utopia. The bus driver of the scenic spot will stop for five to ten minutes for taking pictures and viewing. Because the weather is different every day, in mid-June, under normal circumstances, you must wear short sleeves at the foot of the mountain. Generally, you need to change into long sleeves or add a coat when you arrive at Xiaban Temple. The altitude is more than 2,000 meters, and the temperature is definitely different. The round-trip cable car is 90 yuan. If time is limited, it is recommended to take the cable car. It usually takes three hours to walk to the cable car station. There is no scenery along the way. It is purely physical labor. The range of Taibai Mountain is far, so why not use your strength later. After getting off the cable car, it can be said that the journey through Taibai Mountain really began. Due to the large number of people and different physical strength, we stopped and walked along the way, took photos, ate and drank. We started walking at 2 o'clock and arrived at Xiaowengong Station at 6 o'clock. The scenic area stipulates that you can't go to Xiaowengong after 5 pm, because the next overnight rest station is very far away. So we stayed overnight at Xiaowengong. There are private rooms and beds, which cost about 70 per person. It's nice to watch the sunrise and sunset here. Due to the physical strength and altitude sickness of the team members the next day, we got up early to watch the sunrise and went down the mountain early. Although it was a pity, it was worth the trip.

Taibai Mountain is really a place of extreme beauty. However, to see the real beauty of Taibai Mountain, you need to go to the place after Dawengong Temple. The essence is between Dawengong Temple and Baxiantai. The sea of clouds, the magnificent sunset in the canyon, and the pure sunrise moment simply made me linger. There are also thousands of years of snow and the Mani piles piled up by the passing hikers, which all constitute the Taibai Mountain that I can get a 10. When you go to Taibai Mountain, don't just go to Tianyuanfang. Otherwise, you won't see the truly magnificent Qinling Mountains. Remember, remember.

As a scenic spot, you have the right to use the scenic shuttle bus to reduce damage to the environment, but why do you have to choose which attractions we want to visit? Since your beauty is at the top of the mountain, why do you bother to develop it at the foot of the mountain? Every time you arrive at a place that the scenic spot considers itself a tourist attraction, tourists must get off, even if they don’t want to visit the attractions, they have to get off and change buses. What kind of logic is this?

The highest peak east of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the original alpine reserve and the public forest park are organically combined, with convenient transportation and complete supporting service facilities. It is highly recommended! ! The tour index is five stars, the transportation is five stars, and the recommended itinerary is 2-3 days. Today we have to climb over Tower 1, Tower 2 and Tower 3. The pyramid is Tower 1. At 5:30 pm, we climbed over Tower 1, Tower 2 and Tower 3. In front of us was the most dangerous and difficult section of the Aotai that we had never heard of before - the Nine-Layered Stone Sea and Nine-Layered Heaven. There was no road, so we could only climb straight up to the highest point. It was a grayish-white area full of stones. We took a short break, ate something to replenish our energy, put away our trekking poles, and prepared to climb with our hands and feet.

Fortunately, the experience of crossing the stone sea a few days ago had given people some experience and skills. If the first stone sea they faced was the Ninth Heaven, it would probably be easy to go wrong.

I followed the guide, and the first seven layers of the Stone Sea seemed to take half the time of the whole journey. When I learned that I had passed the seventh layer, I thought the ninth layer of the Stone Sea was just like that, but I didn't expect the eighth layer of the Stone Sea to be so long. It felt like I had climbed for a long time before I passed it. Before reaching the ninth layer, it was still bright, but at the eighth layer of the Stone Sea, it was already sunset, and the temperature dropped rapidly. In the strong wind, I began to feel slightly cold again. It shouldn't have been a big deal, but the problem was that the water in my kettle was from a mountain spring connected on the road, and it was extremely cold. Drinking water was necessary for the hard work of climbing the ninth layer of the Stone Sea. I could stand the cold wind, and I could stand the cold water, but when the two acted at the same time, I really felt cold. So I couldn't rest, and I had to keep exercising to avoid getting cold.

I finally passed the eighth stone sea, and there was still the ninth one. Fortunately, the ninth one was very short, and it only took a few minutes. The ninth heaven, which was more than 3,500 meters above sea level, was finally under my feet. Standing at the top of the ninth stone sea, I looked back at the mountains and hills I had passed. The stars were about to come out.

I knew I had walked through the most difficult section of the Aotai Trail, and had completed 90% of the Aotai Trail. But I didn't have time to feel the joy, or take more photos, because it was getting dark quickly, and I still had an hour of downhill walking to do.

Finally, we are about to reach Baxiantai, the highest point of Taibai Mountain. On the way to Baxiantai, we can see the high mountain lakes surrounded by the sea of rocks at the foot of the mountain - Erye Lake and Sanye Lake.

Aoshan Mountain is completely deserted. The same is true for the interior of Taibai Mountain. The narrow mountain roads can only be navigated by human power.

The management staff told us that off-road vehicles with a capacity of less than 2.0 were not allowed to enter. No matter how much we tried to persuade them, they refused to give in, so we had to return to the scenic area service center and buy tickets to take the scenic area minibus. The ticket was 100 yuan per person, and the round-trip minibus was 60 yuan per person.

As soon as we got off the bus, we went into the tourist service center and bought tickets, including the entrance ticket and the up and down bus tickets (due to the high altitude of Taibai Mountain, the road directly from the bottom of the mountain to an altitude of more than 2,000 meters is about 42 kilometers). There are usually tourist minibuses from the tourist service center to the mountaineering site. We used the fake student ID that we borrowed in advance to buy discounted tickets for 60 yuan, and after getting on the bus, we started our journey to Taibai Mountain.

Following the sound of water, we arrived at the legendary Lotus Peak Waterfall with other tourists. Seeing the white waterfall cascading down in front of us, we couldn't contain our excitement and quickly took out our mobile phones to capture the scene.

After taking pictures beside the waterfall, we took a deep breath of fresh air and felt the coolness of the splashing water. We walked and admired the dreamlike scenery around us, and walked to the nearby bus stop, ready to go to the next stop - Utopia

The next stop is the Utopia Scenic Area. The scenery here is really beautiful. The most important thing is that it is surrounded by mountains, with small bridges and flowing water. The large and small pebbles in the water are washed extremely smooth by the clear water, giving people a refreshing feeling of being close to nature. The quaint and historic Reclining Buddha Temple by the water is nestled against the green peaks. The mountains, temples, water and bridges are integrated into one, just like a fresh and pleasant landscape painting full of vitality...



The tourist minibus kept winding up the mountain and headed straight for the final climbing point. On the way, we saw that the fog outside was very heavy and visibility was very low, but it was not like the smog in Beijing. It gave people a feeling of being in a fairyland, just like the cars in modern life circling around in the clouds and fog of heaven, and the destination was the Nantianmen, the entrance to heaven, which was fascinating...
