It is known as one of the "Three Major Scenic Spots in Jinan" together with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. It is the remnant of Mount Tai. The mountain is not high, but it has undulating peaks and lush forests.
The Wanfo Cave here has nearly 30,000 Buddha statues, the largest reclining Buddha is 28 meters long. There are also exquisite murals in the cave, showing the profound Buddhist cultural connotation.
When you come to Qianfo Mountain, you usually enter from the north gate and start climbing. It usually takes less than an hour to reach the top, where you can overlook the panoramic view of Jinan city.
Temple fairs are held on the third day of the third lunar month and the ninth day of the ninth lunar month every year and last for a week. Performances of gongs and drums, martial arts, Shandong quick-talking and other performances can be seen.

Thousand Buddha Mountain, I think it is the most interesting one among the three wonders of Jinan, and it is a must-see scenery when you come to Jinan. Originally, there were three routes in Thousand Buddha Mountain, but we felt that we didn't have enough time to take two of them. We didn't expect that the Ten Thousand Buddha Caves would be so interesting and took a long time to play. In the end, we took one route and went to see the two main Buddhas (Golden Buddha and Reclining Buddha), and ignored the rest. We only visited some small attractions along the way, and we were in a hurry to go back and check out the house. In fact, if we had enough time, it would definitely take 5 hours to visit all the attractions in Thousand Buddha Mountain.
There is a temple fair at Qianfo Mountain during the Spring Festival, and the ticket price is 30.
I listened to a performance of Shandong wooden drum, a national intangible cultural heritage, at the temple fair. Although it was sung in dialect, I could basically understand it and it sounded quite nice.
My mother did heavy lifting when she was young, and her body has been worn out quite a bit. Now she can hardly climb the mountain. I took her to the reclining Buddha statue and then walked back.
On the way down the mountain, I bought ginkgo nuts, bread, green dates, and durian pancakes. The durian pancakes were especially delicious, and there was a strawberry in it, hahahaha.
Qianfo Mountain was called "Miji Mountain" in the Spring and Autumn Period, "Mi Mountain" and "Li Mountain" in the Han Dynasty, and "Shun Mountain" and "Shun Geng Mountain" in the Wei and Jin Dynasties because of the Shun Temple built on the mountain. In the Sui Dynasty, the founding emperor Yang Jian carved caves and built a thousand Buddha statues and built the "Thousand Buddha Temple", so it was called "Thousand Buddha Mountain". The main attractions include Xingguo Zen Temple, Qianfo Cliff, Lishan Courtyard, etc.
Recommendation: Qianfo Cliff is worth a careful visit, as it is a group of reliefs that are quite old.
Ticket price: 30 yuan (adults), half price for students with student ID (need to purchase at the window).
Qianfo Mountain has a quiet valley and dense forests, making it a good place to escape from the world. What impressed me most about Qianfo Mountain is its Wanfo Cave, which combines the essence of Dunhuang, Longmen, Yungang, and Maiji Mountain. It is worthy of the name Wanfo Cave. There are more than 30,000 Buddha statues in it. The dazzling array of Buddha statues is dazzling. You can enjoy the charm of the four famous caves in one day. Although the Wanfo Cave was excavated in 1992 and is not much older than me, it reproduces the charm of Buddhist art and is still worth seeing. The real monument is the Qianfo Cliff on the south side of Xingguo Zen Temple. The cliff statues on the Qianfo Cliff were carved in the Sui Dynasty and have a history of more than 1,400 years. There are 130 Buddha statues that can be seen now.
I got up early and booked the tickets for Thousand Buddha Mountain on my phone. I found that the tickets for Friday were not available. Then I found that I could not book tickets for all Mondays and Fridays. Why? I didn't understand. I arrived at the main gate of Thousand Buddha Mountain, which is the north gate. There is a parking lot on the east side of the main gate. The hourly fee is very cheap.
When I arrived at the ticket office, I found out why I couldn't book today's tickets online. It turns out that Monday and Friday are discount days for tourists. The price is 30 yuan on weekdays and 15 yuan on discount days. I was secretly excited for a while. It was a coincidence that today was the day.
There are no small attractions that charge a fee.
It only takes about half an hour to climb to the top of the mountain. I originally wanted to walk up and take the slide down, but the slide was closed for maintenance and it would probably be closed for a while. There was no need to take the cable car, so I just walked up and down.
Qianfoshan Park is located in the southern part of Jinan City. It is called Qianfoshan because there are countless Buddhas on the mountain. It covers an area of 166.1 hectares and has an altitude of 285 meters. It is one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan, along with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. It is one of the three famous scenic spots in Jinan that are well-known both at home and abroad. It was called Lishan in ancient times, because ancient history said that Dashun cultivated the fields in Lishan, so it was also called Shunshan and Shungengshan. Qianfoshan, stretching from east to west, is magnificent and deep. From a distance, it looks like a huge brocade screen.
Jinan Qianfo Mountain Scenic Area is located in the south-east of Jinan City, Shandong Province. It is one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan, along with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. Wanfo Cave is located at the northern foot of Qianfo Mountain. It was built in 1992 and consists of four parts: Mogao Collection, Longmen Essence, Maiji Wonders, and Yungang Collection.
The cave is 500 meters long. After being carefully selected, condensed and reconstructed by artists, nearly 30,000 statues of Buddha, Bodhisattva, disciples and Heavenly Kings were sculpted using imitation techniques. It integrates the essence of the four major grottoes in the country: Dunhuang, Longmen, Maijishan and Yungang.
There is a 10-meter-long reclining Buddha in Qianfo Mountain, which was not originally there but was built later. The so-called Thousand Buddha Caves are all filled with small Buddha statues, not the kind carved on the spot. The advantage is the beautiful scenery. It is a place to climb high and see far in the urban area of Jinan, so you can go there.
I went to Qianfo Mountain on the two days of Double Eleven. I rode a bicycle there. There was a big uphill slope, which made me mutter to myself while climbing the mountain and unable to walk. There are many Buddhas and temples on Qianfo Mountain. I kept climbing up. There were many wishing belts and wishing locks on the top of the mountain. The rocks were very slippery, and it was harder to go down the mountain than to go up. But it felt good to see the view from a high place. There was a slide when going down the mountain. It cost 30 yuan per person. It was fun and I was so happy ❤
It is suitable for mountain climbing and sightseeing. It was cloudy when I went there, and the wind was strong on the mountain, so it is recommended to wear outdoor clothes
A mountain in Jinan City, not high, but the scenery is still good. However, the "Thousand Buddhas" of Qianfo Mountain are not visible.
It's worth a visit. There are temples and Taoist temples there, where you can go and worship.
Generally speaking, it is no different from most classics. It is recommended to spend 2 to 5 hours to visit it. Of course, you can worship Buddha, burn incense and pray for money. I spent 99 yuan to pray for blessings at Guan Erye. Overall, the mountain is relatively low, less than 300 meters, and it is a good place to worship Buddha.
The scenery of Qianfo Mountain is still good. Those with religious beliefs can go to Wanfo Cave to have a look. The ticket price seems to be 20 or 15? I forgot. Out of respect for the faith, I didn’t take pictures inside.
At that age when the pixels were not clear enough and no photography skills were known, a pure friendship could surpass more material things.
In the southern part of Jinnansi, you can take a cable car up the mountain, and you can overlook the city from the top of the mountain.
The scenery is nice. The night view is beautiful at night. You must go and see it if you have time. I just want to know why it costs money when I go there at 8:30 in the evening.
1. Thousand Buddha Mountain is one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan. Because it is close to the city, it is also the first choice for citizens to worship Buddha and exercise.
2. The mountain is not high, and you can reach the top quickly. If you don't want to climb, there are cableways and slides to choose from. The slide costs 30 yuan per person for a round trip, which is more expensive than the cableway, but it is safe and exciting.
3. Don’t go to Wanfo Cave, it’s very fake.
It is also known as one of the "Three Major Scenic Spots in Jinan" along with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. People usually enter Qianfo Mountain from the north gate and start climbing. It usually takes less than an hour to reach the top, where you can overlook the panoramic view of Jinan city.
Those who go to Qianfo Mountain in the morning are uncles and aunts who go there to exercise. The day I went there happened to be the first day of the new year, and there were many people coming to burn incense and worship Buddha.
The Wanfo Cave is very spectacular! Recommended tour
Start climbing to the top of the mountain as soon as you come out of the Ten Thousand Buddha Cave. The mountain is not particularly high. You will reach the top when you are sweating profusely and your hands and feet are shaking!
Since I was exhausted, I took the cable car down the mountain. Ticket price: 20. I am very afraid of heights. It was my first time taking this cable car. I dared not move at all, and tears flowed from the corners of my eyes. . . .
Qianfo Mountain is not very high, but the scenery is very beautiful. You can see the whole city of Jinan from the top of the mountain. Bring your kids here, go up the cableway, go down the slide, birds are circling overhead, the kids are laughing, and there are apricot yellow leaves. Qianfo Mountain is a place where you can keep a piece of peace in your heart.
It's a famous place, not a historic site. It's newly built like Lingshan Mountain in Wuxi, but it may be a little earlier. There are all kinds of Arhats and Buddha statues, including Guanyin, Maitreya Buddha, Sanqing and Yue Lao Temple, which can meet your various religious demands. The ticket is 30 yuan. It took me more than 20 minutes to climb from the west gate to Lishanyuan, which is halfway up the mountain. I didn't go to the top of the mountain in a hurry, so I went to Wanfo Cave for a walk. Overall, it's okay. It's very convenient in the city.
The mountain is not high, the last section is a little steeper, there is a chrysanthemum viewing pavilion on the top of the mountain, from which you can see the view of Jinan city.
When you go down the mountain, you may encounter a man disguised as a monk. He will hold the tourists and say some nice things to them. He will give you two cards and ask for money. If you don't believe this, it is best to just refuse and don't shake hands with him.
The small attraction worth seeing is the Ten Thousand Buddha Caves, which was built in 1992. Buddhist sculptures from the four major grottoes in China were copied and reassembled. There are a lot of them, and the lighting is dim, which is very impressive. There is no compulsory requirement to burn incense or the like. Do not use flashlights or flashlights inside, as they may damage the cultural relics.
The mountain is not very big or high
But there are many attractions to visit.
I feel the ticket price is worth it
You can get a commemorative stamp at the visitor center near the gate of the scenic area. Don’t miss it if you like it.
According to legend, this mountain was originally the place where Shun cultivated the land, so the mountain was also called Shun Mountain. During the Sui Dynasty, Buddhism flourished, and people from above thought this mountain was very beautiful, so they built Buddha sculptures on the mountain. Since then, the name Thousand Buddha Mountain has been passed down.
Most of the stone carvings are gathered in the Xingguo Zen Temple, which is at the top of the mountain. Since I have been there before, I am too lazy to climb this time and just walk around below.
In the north in winter, the flowers and trees are withered and there is really no scenery to speak of. It is far from being one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan mentioned in the primary school Chinese textbook.
The Wanfo Cave is pretty good, and the white peacocks in Guanyin Garden love to show off. You need to buy tickets for these two places separately, but I think they are worth visiting.
The scenic area is nice, not too high, with cableways and slides. It is in Jinan city and has convenient transportation.
An ideal vantage point to overlook the entire city, but it depends on the weather, otherwise it will be like this in the photo. The cable car is very capricious and will stop operating at any time. The slide is okay for children to play, and I am also a baby. Thousand Buddha Cave... Big Buddha... It depends on personal preference
Unexpectedly, Thousand Buddha Mountain is located in the city and can be reached directly by bus, unlike many other famous mountains that are located in the suburbs and take a lot of time on the road.
Qianfo Mountain is the remnant of Mount Tai. Going up the steps, you will see green trees on both sides and 18 stone sculptures of Arhats with different expressions on both sides of the road. The Arhats are either beautiful or ugly, old or young.
The sculptures carved directly out of the stone wall are very vivid!
Among all the well-known Buddhas, my favorite is the smiling image of Maitreya Buddha. Every time I see him, I feel relieved and happy.
It takes more than half a day to visit Qianfo Mountain, which is full of green shade, green grass, ancient temples in cliff caves, and fragrant pines and cypresses. It is worth it to come here to find a cool place and get a glimpse of the beautiful scenery.
I came here once 20 years ago. This time, I spent more than an hour in the morning walking along the middle road all the way up to Xingguo Zen Temple. I didn't go to Wanfo Cave because I went there 20 years ago. The mountain is okay and not too high. The ticket is 30 yuan. After entering, you have to pay separately for Wanfo Cave, Guanyin Hall and other attractions. I can only say that the greenery on the mountain is good.
The ticket price for Thousand Buddha Mountain is 30 yuan. The mountain is not high and the scenery is average, but it is a place for Jinan citizens to climb and relax. It only takes 2-3 hours to walk down.
Climb to a high place and enjoy the view, drink wine in the breeze, the nearby Fohui Mountain also has a unique scenery, and even the tourist road is a rare beauty.
I saw many arhats along the way after entering the gate. I didn't count them, but I guess there were 18 arhats. The Wanfo Cave is a real cave. I stayed in it for more than an hour, and my arms were sore from the cold. Climb to the highest peak and overlook the Maitreya Buddha, the future Buddha, which is magnificent.
Because of time constraints, I haven't had the chance to go, but after seeing the pictures sent by my friends, I think it's pretty good!
The Ten Thousand Buddha Caves inside are charged separately, but it is still worth a visit. Although it is a replica of the four major grottoes in China, the layout of the cave makes people feel comfortable. The key is that it is cool. It is 30 degrees outside.
Qianfo Mountain is the highest peak in Jinan. If you want to play a guide, you can buy an electronic ticket from China-TravelNote and enter the mountain through the north main gate. You will be greeted by 18 Arhats. Going up, you can visit Sanqing Temple and the Temple of the God of Wealth, which are facing each other. Then go up to the reclining Buddha. From the reclining Buddha, the mountain road becomes steeper, and there are many ancient trees along the way. After that, you can visit Guanyin Garden, which has peacocks for 5 yuan. Continue to go up to Tang Huai Pavilion, and then it is best to go straight to the top of the mountain. There will be Xingguo Zen Temple and Lishanyuan on the way. As for Wangyue Pavilion, it is ok to look down at the top of the mountain. When you arrive at Lishanyuan, there are two roads to the top of the mountain, both of which are connected. Just choose one to go up and take the other down. There is a chrysanthemum pavilion on the top of the mountain. You can see the city view of Jinan in the north and the scenery of Nanlu in the south. Back to Lishanyuan, there are cableways and slides. I chose the slide and slid for about 4 minutes to reach the lower station, between the reclining Buddha and the Ten Thousand Buddha Caves. Then we went east to visit the Wanfo Cave, Wenchang Pavilion, and Maitreya Buddha, and exited the mountain from the gate of the Academy of Fine Arts. If you are not physically fit, you can choose the slideway or battery car. The scenic area guidance is very good and the service arrangement is reasonable.
It is known as one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan along with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake.
Qianfo Mountain is very popular with people burning incense and worshipping Buddha. Maybe it is because there are more Buddhas and they can show their power.
There are thousands of Buddhas everywhere, and when you climb up high and look out into the distance you can see all the beautiful sights.
Catch the temple fair on the first day of the Lunar New Year. It was crowded with people. I was lucky to see the Ten Thousand Buddha Caves. It is said that it has been under repair for more than a year. It is estimated that it is open for the first time today. The cable car on the return trip is a good place to rest~
When I went there, the Wanfo Cave was under renovation and I couldn't go in. The mountain is not that high and the climb is okay. Some routes are quite steep, and maybe there are too many tourists so many steps are worn very smooth and it's easy to slip if you're not careful. I don't think it's necessary to take a cable car or something for the whole process.
There are not many people in the Qianfo Mountain Scenic Area, it is very quiet and you can worship Buddha and calm your mind.
No matter which city you go to, if there is a mountain that rises from the flat ground not far from the city, you must climb it.
The mountain is not high, there are many Buddha statues, and you can overlook the city of Jinan from the top of the mountain.
I think going to Qianfo Mountain is more for hiking. There is nothing I think is great about the Buddha. There are indeed many places to burn incense, but I am not interested.
I think it is better to go during the Qianfoshan Mountain Fair. I happened to catch the last day of the Fair. I saw the life of Jinan people. Many people would go shopping at Qianfoshan during the Fair.
Zhoucun sesame cakes are good. The more you eat, the better it tastes.
Jinan Thousand Buddha Mountain has beautiful scenery and is worth a visit!
When you climb to the top of the west road, you can see a small pavilion on another hill. When you look down, you can see the road leading to the pavilion is endless. There are many strange rocks on the road, which looks like a road to the sky. After finally reaching the pavilion, you will find that the way down the mountain is not easy to walk either.
For more details, please refer to the travel notes http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/7833610.html
The cable car is 20 yuan one way. You can take the cable car up or down to see the scenery of Jinan city. You can also climb up. It is not very high. It takes at most half an hour to climb the mountain! The most important thing to say is the slide. It is very cheap. It is 20 yuan one way and 30 yuan round trip. The slide is very worthwhile! And you can buy a photo at the end. The only drawback is that the Thousand Buddha Caves are closed, as if they are under maintenance.
The weather is not very good. If it is sunny, it would be nice to overlook the surroundings from the top of the mountain.
I wanted to take my parents to the south during the Dragon Boat Festival, but I was afraid that there would be too many cars on the way back, so I chose the provincial capital. I thought there would be fewer people, but it turned out not to be the case. Thousand Buddha Mountain is a must-see attraction in Jinan. Parking nearby is very inconvenient, so why not plan it well? The scenery of Thousand Buddha Mountain is pretty good. We chose the cable car to go up the mountain and the slide to go down the mountain. We had a lot of fun, but the waiting time was a bit long. There is a scenic area bus in the park, one stop at each scenic spot, 20 per person, which is quite convenient.
During the May Day holiday in the second semester of my freshman year, I went to Jinan for the first time and put it on the itinerary for the last day. However, a disappointing message ruined my mood at that time. Fortunately, my friends and I returned to school safely in the end.
A must-go place for praying and praying to Buddha. You can see the panoramic view of Jinan from a high altitude. It is very nice when the weather is good. It is suitable for a half-day tour.
Qianfo Mountain is a branch of Mount Tai and one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan. It was called Lishan in ancient times. Because of the ancient history that Shun cultivated the fields in Lishan, it was also called Shunshan and Shungengshan. During the Kaihuang period of the Sui Dynasty (581-600), due to the prevalence of Buddhism, thousands of Buddha statues were carved along the mountain, so it was called Qianfo Mountain.
There are few tourists in the scenic area, but the air is still quite fresh, it is simply a natural oxygen bar. The road is lined with green trees and the breeze is refreshing. In the forest, there are stone carvings and statues of various shapes scattered around, which can be said to be a scene at every step.
No tickets are required after 7:30 pm. The ticket inspector at the door sometimes says that only locals in Jinan are exempted. The best way is to go in with the large crowd at 7:30 pm. It's OK. No tickets are required before 6 am. Going early to climb the mountain can also see the sunrise. There are many uncles, aunts, grandpas and grandmas who get up early to exercise on the mountain. They are very friendly and interesting.
I just went there yesterday, the ticket was 30 per person, the most worthwhile place to visit, the Wanfo Cave, has been closed for renovation since November 2016, and no one is allowed to enter. It's been almost a year and it's still not repaired? So... not satisfied. The trees are lush and the sanitary environment is OK, but most of the scenery is man-made and not natural.
Qianfo Mountain is 285 meters above sea level, and it takes about a whole day to have a good time. There are several small paths on the mountain, all leading to the main road down the mountain.
Rui Ge and I walked less than one-third of the way, entering from the south gate, following the direction of Lishan Courtyard and Wangdai Pavilion, going down the mountain along the path from Wangdai Pavilion, and finally exiting from the west gate of Thousand Buddha Mountain.
The scenic spot is in the city center. There are many buses going there. Walk 600 meters and arrive at the ticket office of the scenic spot around 8 am. You can save 5 yuan by scanning the QR code with Ctrip WeChat. There are staff to assist, which makes it convenient to take out the receipt. It will be torn off when you enter the door. It took more than 3 hours to visit Qianfo Mountain. Tired, hot, hungry...
One of the most famous hills around Jinan, it is less than 300 meters above sea level and can be reached by a simple walk. It is a good place to overlook the city of Jinan.
I originally thought that the word "ten thousand" was just an exaggeration, but when I went in, I realized that there were really tens of thousands of Buddha statues, including those from Dunhuang, Yungang, and Longmen Grottoes. I really don't know how they were transported from such a long distance. As one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan, Qianfoshan Park has many attractions. The tour guide led us and we had a good tour, and the guide gave us detailed explanations.
The weather was good on the day I went there, but the Wanfo Cave was not open and was under renovation. I almost didn't buy a ticket to go in because of this, haha. But it was pretty good to have a look around.
We walked up and took the cable car down, which was fun. On the mountain, four of us played bumper cars, and we were the only ones playing...
"Lotus flowers on four sides and willows on three sides, one city with mountains and half of the city with lakes" - Thousand Buddha Mountain, Daming Lake and Baotu Spring are the three major scenic spots in Jinan. Thousand Buddha Mountain was called Lishan in ancient times. It was also called Shunshan or Shungengshan because of the ancient history that Emperor Shun cultivated the fields on Lishan. It was also called Thousand Buddha Mountain because of the Buddha carvings on the mountain in the Sui Dynasty. There is an ancient temple Xingguo Zen Temple halfway up the mountain. If you climb to the top, you can see the beautiful scenery of Qiyan Jiudian and the silhouette of the Yellow River in the distance.
As one of the famous scenic spots in Jinan, the Ten Thousand Buddha Caves has similar features to Dunhuang and the Yungang Grottoes. If you don't like mountain climbing and Buddhist culture, you don't have to go there, as many of them were built later.
Qianfo Mountain, also known as Lishan Mountain in ancient times. Legend has it that a long time ago, there was an ancient iron chain on the mountain, as thick as a human arm, which was wrapped around the peak twice. Why? It turns out that Lishan Mountain was originally a fairy mountain on the sea. The immortals living on the mountain were active by nature and always took Shandong to travel around the west, which made the sea god very unhappy, so he secretly locked the mountain with an iron chain. Unexpectedly, one day the iron chain was broken, and the mountain flew down here, but a broken chain was still tied to the peak. It is said that there was still an iron chain on the top of Qianfo Mountain in the Tang Dynasty. The ticket is 30 yuan, and the student ID card can be half-price. When I arrived at Qianfo Mountain, I went straight to the Ten Thousand Buddha Caves. The mountain is not too high, so it is still worth being happy. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Ten Thousand Buddha Caves. The ticket is 15 yuan, and the student ID card can still be half-price. I originally thought that the word "ten thousand" was just an exaggeration, but when I entered, I realized that there were really tens of thousands of Buddha statues. Since I knew very little about Buddhism, I just took a quick look. However, the introduction said that there were Buddha statues from Dunhuang, Yungang, and Longmen Grottoes. I really don't know how they were transported from such a long distance. Of course, as one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan, Qianfoshan Park also has many attractions.
We went to one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan: Thousand Buddha Mountain Park. We bought tickets to have breakfast at the west gate of the park. On the way back to the park after breakfast, I gave them a performance class like crazy. Unexpectedly, there was always someone behind us, and it was a staff member of the park. When we entered the park and talked about riding the slide, we heard a staff member say that blind people can also ride the slide? It turned out that he was also an "audience" of the performance class. There are so many jokes in it, so funny! We took the slide up the mountain, reached the top, and a breeze blew, and it was suddenly clear. Later, we took the slide down the mountain. It was fun, but I didn’t have enough fun. I’ll leave it for next time! The Thousand Buddha Mountain Slide was so exciting! After coming down the slide, we went to the Ten Thousand Buddha Caves.
One of the filming locations of "White Eyebrow Warrior" back then, the feelings are so deep that I can't express them in words. Love~!
The recommended route is from the north line down and the south line down~~~~
Jinan Thousand Buddha Mountain is located in the south of the center of Jinan. It is one of the three major scenic spots in Jinan, along with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake. It is a must-see attraction in Jinan. Thousand Buddha Mountain is not very high. There is a cable car and you can also walk up the mountain. The ticket for Thousand Buddha Mountain is 30.00 yuan. There are Xingguo Zen Temple, Guanyin Garden, and Ten Thousand Buddha Caves on the mountainside. It is magnificent to climb Thousand Buddha Mountain to have a panoramic view of the city of Jinan. There are many exits. I went out from the gate of the Academy of Fine Arts with the Big Golden Buddha (Big Belly Maitreya Buddha). There are many temple fairs during holidays, which are very lively.
I went there in September, when there were still lotus flowers and beautiful scenery. Standing on the top of the mountain, I felt like I could see all the other mountains. The ticket was 30 yuan. There were Buddha statues inside, which were worth worshipping for every Buddhist.
The mountain is not high and you can see the whole picture of Jinan from the top of the mountain.
The places you must visit are particularly interesting. Jinan's scenic spots and historical sites
The altitude is not bad. It is quite difficult to climb. The road is relatively easy to walk at the beginning, but it becomes steeper later. However, many temples inside charge admission fees, so we just looked around outside. The main purpose is to climb the mountain. You can almost see half of Jinan city when you climb to the top of the mountain.
The ticket to Qianfo Mountain is 30 yuan, and it takes 3 hours to play. The north gate is the main gate. You can visit the main attractions along a line. Note that there is a Wanfo Cave, which costs 15 yuan per person. It is very deep and cool. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can choose to go down by cable car or slide, which costs 20 yuan per person. There is a big Buddha on the east side of the scenic area, which is far from the central axis. You can go down the mountain and choose to go there to take a look.
Qianfo Mountain is not high. The starting point of the climb is 80 meters above sea level, the upper station of the cable car is 200 meters above sea level, and the top of the mountain is 280 meters above sea level. There are two places on the top of the mountain for viewing, one is a pavilion and the other is a stone-built mountain. The views from both tops are very good, and you can get a panoramic view of the entire city of Jinan. There are cable cars and slides to choose from when going up and down the mountain. The end points are both at about two-thirds of the height of the mountain. Even if you can see Jinan city from a distance here, the scenery is beautiful. It is not recommended to go to the mountain on holidays because there are so many people that you can't walk at all, and you have to wait in line for nearly two hours for the cable car.
