The first time I went to Weihai, I naturally had to go to Liugong Island. It took nearly half an hour to queue up for tickets, and there were many families with children. The most common ticket I bought was 138 yuan, which included round-trip boat tickets and scenic spot tickets, but did not include cable cars, island tours, etc. I wandered around the scenic area slowly by myself and visited some places that interested me. Overall, this place is really good to bring children to receive patriotism education, but along the way I heard parents educating their children: "Fight Japan, fight Japan." In fact, I was speechless when I heard it behind me. History makes people remember the past, cherish peace, and inspire progress, not hate. And I personally think it is not appropriate to instill such ideas in children.

Liugong Island is quite large, so I just walked around the middle area. The two ends were too far away and I couldn't walk, so I didn't go there. Later, when I left the scenic area, I found that there were shared cars (especially small ones). I regretted not seeing them when I came in. Otherwise, I would have rented a car and driven around the island. It took about 4 hours to walk around.

Liugong Island 5A scenic spot, I came here because of its reputation, but it is really a place that I would regret if I didn't go there. In order to avoid the crowd, I chose to go there at more than ten o'clock. The time for self-service machine ticket collection was 10:32, and the time to board the boat was nearly 13 o'clock. I queued for two and a half hours, and I stood and squeezed the whole time, regardless of the elderly and children. The weather was hot, and if I wanted to buy water and food or go to the bathroom in the middle, it would not work. A 5A scenic spot actually takes so long to go, and I am not in the mood to watch it even if the scenery is good. When I arrived at the scenic spot, I was informed that the general boat return time was 3:30 in the afternoon, which means that I have to queue up to go back, and the play time is less than two hours, speechless. So I went to the Sino-Japanese War Memorial Hall first, and then went to the Liugong Island Expo Park after coming out. I took a quick look and went back to queue up for the boat. I went back and took pictures for about half an hour. There were people squeezed by people. Fortunately, the weather in Weihai these days is not very hot. I really don't know what to say about such attractions. I have the same idea as everyone else. Maybe you will only come to Weihai once in your life, and it would be a pity not to visit some attractions. However, after seeing them, it really affects your mood the most in the itinerary. I suggest that you don't come here with children and the elderly. Of course, if your children can walk by themselves and have patience, you can come, or if your elderly are in good health... Of course, all my comments are caused by the queue. If you only queue for an hour, you can still see this island and understand this humiliating history.

Mainly, even if you want to visit the museum, you have to take a cable car up the mountain to see the panoramic view of Liugong Island. As a result, it was foggy when you got up the mountain and you couldn't see anything.

Weihai's representative scenic spot is worth visiting. It should be noted that: 1. Buy tickets one day in advance as much as possible, there are many discounts, and it is very convenient to pick up tickets. 2. During the summer vacation, you must pay attention to sun protection. Long-sleeved sun protection clothes, hats, umbrellas, and sunscreen are essential. 3. Parents with children can bring some fish food, bread and other food to feed the fish. 4. Bring some water and fruit as much as possible. There are not many places to eat on the island, and everyone should understand the taste and price. 5. The business hours start at 8 am, so everyone should go as early as possible. The waiting time for boarding the boat during the summer vacation is at least 30 minutes, so be sure to calculate the time well.

You need to take a boat to get to the island. We mainly visited the Sino-Japanese War Museum with the theme of the Beiyang Navy and the Sino-Japanese War, the Liugong Island Expo Park, watched the documentary film of the Sino-Japanese War, the Wanghai Tower, and the Yingzu Weihaiwei History Museum. There are mostly traces of history here, showing the basic historical facts of the 32-year British lease of Weihaiwei to the Chinese people. In the Sino-Japanese War Museum on Liugong Island, I saw many historical features during the Sino-Japanese War, mainly some historical equipment left over from the Beiyang Fleet. Personally, I think that attractions like museums can really broaden your horizons. It is worthwhile to learn and remember history while playing. What needs to be said here is that the interpreter on the island is useless. The signal is often broken, so you can't hear the sound. It is not recommended to rent it. Just walk and watch it yourself. We only visited the island for about 2 hours and then went back to the island. Unfortunately, most of the scenery on Liugong Island was not seen in time, so we can only go there next time.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance. There are adult tickets, senior tickets, and student tickets. You can pick up the tickets at the passenger center. The tickets include round-trip ferry tickets, and the price-performance ratio is good.

It took more than ten minutes to get to Liugong Island by boat. As soon as we got ashore, my son went straight to the beach to play in the water. I couldn't stop him. The beach of Liugong Island is really attractive, with clear and green water, passenger ships shuttling back and forth, and the blue sea dotted with white boats, which is very beautiful.

Occasionally, you can see the sea in the distance through the buildings and tree shadows. I think this is really the most beautiful place for military service. Tourists can save some energy by taking a battery car to tour the island.

You need to buy a separate ticket to visit the submarine. This is a real submarine retired in the 1980s, which is already rusty. Entering the submarine, the space is extremely small, the activity space is quite cramped, and there is a strong smell of motor oil, which makes people feel a little breathless. I can't help but deeply admire the soldiers who serve on the submarine. They sacrificed too much and endured too much. My son was very satisfied with the submarine landscape, and it was worth the visit.

The time to go to the island is 2:30 p.m., and the return time is 4:30 p.m. It is not recommended to stay on the island. There is no one at night, and no one sells things. There is only one state-run hotel on the island-Liugong Island Hotel, which costs 500-600. 2. Ticket purchase suggestions, only choose round-trip boat tickets and scenic spot tickets. After going to the island, you can buy the cable car and the sea island tour separately. These two attractions are not recommended. The security check on the island is very strict. Lighters are not allowed. Liugong Island is a smoke-free island, and lighters will be confiscated. However, there are many small shops on the island, all with lighters, which can be borrowed. 4. You can have lunch on the island, and the price is reasonable. Finally, remember to do a good job of sun protection.

Eating on the island is really expensive. The cheapest instant noodles cost 20 yuan, and corn cakes cost 5 yuan, not to mention cooking. So it is important to bring food in advance. There are several villas in the meantime. It seems that they were built when foreigners occupied this place and were sealed. Finally, we arrived at the westernmost fort of the island. It was really beautiful to see the sea from the fort. It was boundless. After watching for a long time, it felt like the sea was going up to the sky.

There are dozens of families living on Liugong Island. The courtyards are very old, but they have a unique flavor. There are small flower beds in front of the doors, giving a feeling of an outdoor paradise. I regret not taking photos of these houses because I was holding my children.

Liugong Island is still worth a visit. The place where I live is not far from the sea. I walked there and bought a ticket at the port to board the boat. There are many boats going back and forth and they are fast. Liugong Island is mainly a tourist attraction. It is worth a look and looking for traces of history. It is also very educational.

There are three cannons on the Qidingshan Fort, and most of the scenery is blocked by plants, so there is nothing to see. On the way back, we caught up with the peak of going down the mountain, and waited for the cable car again. We didn't go down the mountain until 3 pm. Since we had an appointment with the chartered driver to go back to Rushan, we had to give up other attractions. Maybe Liugong Island is still worth visiting, but it's better to stay on the island for a day during the peak season to slowly appreciate its beauty. It is recommended to go to the island at 3 pm on the first day, and take the cable car directly to the Qidingshan Fort to overlook the scenery of Liugong Island. Just missed the peak period of taking the cable car. Don't miss the last cable car going down at 17:20 in the afternoon. Wait for the day-trip tourists to leave the island and then slowly visit the Expo Park and other attractions. You can also skip the Qidingshan Fort, visit the Expo Park first, and then visit the Sino-Japanese War Museum. The next morning, before the day-trip passengers board the island, spend 20 yuan to take a sightseeing bus through the forest and pine waves. Because most people think that since they have come to Weihai, such a famous and promoted Liugong Island, it seems a pity not to go, but in fact, there is no regret at all.

I strongly recommend the Liugong Island Sino-Japanese War Memorial. It may be difficult for children to understand, but it can really touch the soul for adults. Remembering history is everyone's obligation. In fact, the text on the wall of the museum is very good and comprehensive. On the contrary, the tour guide was talking nonsense. I don't recommend you to find a tour guide. The electronic explanation machine should be good. Other attractions on the island, such as the zoo, sika deer, pandas, etc., seem to have no meaning. They are purely for attracting tourists. Regarding transportation: We chose to walk to the back. It was indeed tiring, but it was within an acceptable range. In short, it deserves the name of a patriotism education base. The memorial is really shocking.

The submarine on Liugong Island is docked on the southwest side of the island, and the ticket is 20 (if you have a round-trip cableway ticket, the submarine is free).

The No. 279 submarine docked here is a R33 submarine, a second-generation conventional-powered submarine made by my country using the former Soviet Union's technology. It is 76.6 meters long, 6.7 meters wide, 5.2 meters deep, and has a displacement of 1,475 tons. It was manufactured in 1979, launched in 1980 and served in the East China Sea Fleet, and retired in 2003.
