In this profit-seeking world, too many coastal fishermen are contracted by outsiders and people from the Northeast. The rent is rising every year. Because the park is very large, a small train has been opened. After purchasing a ticket, you can take the train to visit the beautiful scenery of Wanpingkou from stop to stop.

Rizhao doesn’t have a large amusement park yet. However, Wanpingkou has some amusement facilities, which can be regarded as a small amusement park in Rizhao. Many of them are suitable for children. It is a nice place to bring children to play here.

I heard that this scenic spot was free before, but now the ticket price is 60 yuan, and 54 yuan on Ctrip. The scenic spot is very large, and it takes more than half a day to walk around. If you come here to swim in summer, there are supporting facilities for washing, which is very convenient. However, I heard from Zhonghai Fisherman that the seabed slope of Wanpingkou is relatively large, which is suitable for people who are familiar with water. People who are not very good at swimming should not swim too deep.

The beach chairs and parasols in the scenic area are free and open to the public. It is really pleasant for tourists to sit here and watch the sea!

The scenic area's sightseeing train is free to ride, with no limit on the number of times. The scenic area is so large that it is necessary to take a train to get around. My parents have bad knees, and thanks to this train, they can get around the entire scenic area. It is recommended that tourists with children can take this train if they find it too tiring. But here is a special reminder that some of the trains have to go through the woods, so you must watch your children and don't stick your head or hands out to look around, otherwise they will hit the branches on the roadside. I originally wanted to lean out and take a photo of the train, but a tree came towards me, so I quickly sat down and gave up the idea of taking pictures. When going out to play, remember to be safe!

The owner of the fisherman's house is a local and introduced us to many famous attractions in Rizhao. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to drive from the fishing village to Wanpingkou. Wanpingkou Scenic Area is close to the city and the scenery is beautiful. If you plan to play, you can prepare food for lunch because the things inside are too expensive. Remember, don't bring too many things, especially valuables, so as not to be stolen when playing. Just bring food and clothes! Also, sun protection must be done well. The ultraviolet rays of the sun at noon are very strong. Don't sunburn your skin!

A family of 6 drove to Rizhao. We got off the highway from Rizhao South and went directly to the Wanpingkou Scenic Area by the sea on Yingbin Road. It was charged for the first time in 2017. Many tourists think that the Wanpingkou Scenic Area is an area centered on Wanping Stone near Gate 1, but they don’t know that the coastline of the scenic area is 4 kilometers long, the beach area is more than 300,000 square meters, and there are 5 entrances from south to north. Because the No. 1 gate area is close to the city, the flow of people is relatively dense. Go north from gates 1 to 5 to enter the scenic area. The train route in the scenic area runs from gate 1 to gate 5. You can exchange the full-price ticket for a sightseeing train experience ticket for free ride and get on and off freely. So even if you enter the park from gates 2 to 5, you can still take the train. Rock climbing and skywalking near gate 2 are also free with full-price tickets.

The train runs in a circle in the scenic area, with seven stops along the way: Wanpingkou Square → RV Camp Square → Skywalk → Wedding Park → Rainbow Square (Children's Water Park) → Yangfan Square (Children's Water Park) → Taigong Island Square.

When you go to Rizhao, you must go to Wanpingkou, a beach where you can swim in the summer. You can also go there in seasons when you can't swim. Although the sand is not very fine, it is very nice to walk along the beach.

When a child walked in it, I was afraid that she would scratch her feet. The sea water was quite clear and clean. This was the first time I heard that the beach had to be charged. The only advantage of Wanpingkou was that it was free to wash the sand and feet. It was not like that forest park, where everything cost money.

I went there with my dog on a self-driving tour. I think this place is very good. I can pretend to be abroad by taking photos. Maybe I went there during the off-peak season, so there weren't too many people. The water quality was pretty good. Rizhao is a good review.

We traveled a long way to Wanpingkou. The fee was originally 60, but they said that the sea water is warm now and there are many jellyfish, so we can’t go into the water! Did you laugh? You can’t go into the water at the beach! And the ticket is 40! Although it is the off-season, the ticket price is still quite depressing! We first went to the World Sailing Championships Base. The fisherman bought discounted sailboat tickets for us. Wanpingkou is right outside the bay. It looks beautiful in the sea. We bought discounted tickets online for 54 as soon as we came out of the base. The coastline is very long, estimated to be 10 kilometers. You can't finish it on foot in a day, but you can take a small train. It takes only 5 minutes to get from Gate 1 to Gate 5. The hardware facilities inside are relatively complete. Flushing, sun umbrellas, and lounge chairs are all free. There are no tour groups and not many people. It's a good place to be in a daze! In the evening, we went back to the Kailai Fisherman's Seafood Banquet in Renjiatai. The boss's cooking skills are very good. How can seafood not be delicious if it's made by a 28-year-old fisherman! ! Those who like seafood can try it.

It is enough to spend half a day. At noon and in the evening, you can go to Wujiatai Fishing Village to eat and visit the night market. There are many fishermen there, and there is a great atmosphere. Of course, you should be cautious when choosing a fisherman. It is best to choose a fisherman run by locals to avoid being slaughtered. We have been to Shanhaitian Fishing House in Wujiatai Village. The boss is very nice, the accommodation is very clean, and it is very affordable to eat seafood. You can eat live seafood, and the boss’s cooking skills are great; in the morning, you can walk to the beach to watch the sunrise and take a walk, which is very convenient. Next to Wujiatai Village is the forest park, and the sea water here is unpolluted and very clean

I come to Rizhao every year. Every year when I come to Rizhao, we will stay at Shanhaitian Fisherman's House in Wujiatai Village. The fisherman's house is very clean, the boss is very enthusiastic and kind, just like at home. The fisherman's yard is very close to the beach, and you can walk directly to the beach to catch seafood, watch the sunrise, etc. The Wanpingkou Scenic Area was free in the past few years, but it started charging this year. Some of the facilities inside are completely different from before. The beautiful and generous sand sculptures, the golden coastline, and some projects for children to play have changed a lot. It is worth coming in to see. There are not as many people as before, and it is not as crowded as before to play. Wanpingkou is easy to find and close to the city, but there are almost no accommodations around. We booked a fisherman's house in advance, so we don't have to worry about finding a place to stay after we come here, and there is a lot of time left.

I have been to Rizhao 7 times. Wanpingkou has never charged a fee until 2016. Wanpingkou Scenic Area is known as the living room of Rizhao City. In 2016, the ticket price added hot water showers and the beach added sun umbrellas, but there were too few sun umbrellas in the peak season. I came to Rizhao mainly to play in the sea and the beach. Rizhao has many free beaches, and I feel that the ticket price is not worth it. I have been to Rizhao several times. The best time for food, accommodation and entertainment was to find a full-service Rizhao tourism on Taobao, which is especially suitable for friends who travel by car. The star-rated hotel arranged is much cheaper than online.

Wanpingkou Scenic Area has been charging admission since 2016, and some of the facilities inside have also been improved a lot. Wanpingkou is the living room of Rizhao. You must visit Wanpingkou when you come to Rizhao. There are Wanpingkou Bridge, lagoon, beach chairs, sand sculptures, tidal tower, and many other nice scenery.

After going to Qingdao, I went to Rizhao and found that the beach in Rizhao was cleaner than that in Qingdao. It might be because Qingdao has more people and the pollution is serious. When I went to Wanpingkou, it was free and I saw many fishermen digging seafood on the beach. If you want to see the sea, I suggest going to Rizhao.

I haven't entered the scenic area, so I can't comment on it, but the scenery outside the scenic area is also very good. In the distance, there are many ancient ships swaying together.
