Jin Mao Tower is an early landmark in Pudong's Lujiazui district. As China's financial center, the Jin Mao Tower is home to the world's top financial leaders, including Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, and CICC, as well as numerous renowned investment banks, world-class banks, top consulting firms, and other industry leaders. It's a privilege to be able to admire these leaders in the Jin Mao Tower lobby.
The Shanghai Jinmao Tower is located at 88 Century Avenue in the Pudong New Area, in the heart of the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone. It faces Pudong New Area to the east, overlooks Shanghai and the Huangpu River to the west, faces the Zhangyang Road commercial and trade zone to the south, and borders a 100,000-square-meter central green space to the north. The Shanghai Jinmao Tower covers an area of 24,000 square meters and has a total construction area of 290,000 square meters. The main building, with 88 floors and a height of 420.5 meters, covers approximately 200,000 square meters and has a tower-like appearance.

The upstairs isn't anything special, and once you get there you feel like you've been ripped off. The service was also terrible, and after walking around for several times, no one told us where the elevator was. The photo booth is just asking you to pay for photos, and don't even try the "Walking in the Clouds" tour; the instructor is incredibly grumpy and prone to accidents.
One of Lujiazui's landmark buildings was also very popular back then.
This is a famous building on the Bund in Shanghai, you can go up and visit it.
The Shanghai Jinmao Tower is located at 88 Century Avenue, Pudong New District, Shanghai. The view from the top is like an aerial photo.
The center of the financial and trade zone, prosperous and majestic.
Overtime dogs light themselves up and illuminate the CBD.
It was once the tallest building in China, and the sky bar is great.
Very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, very good, very good
There were too many people queuing up to reach the top, so I gave up. The appearance is also quite good.

It has been the tallest building in Shanghai and even in China for many years. It is still worth a visit.
It used to be the tallest building in Shanghai (not counting the tower), but now it has fallen to third place, but the view is still good.
It's a very prosperous place. Looking up from the ground, it feels like the building is about to fall down when the clouds pass by. When you take the elevator to the 88th floor and look out, you can see the entire Huangpu River.
It's really super high and sets the tone for the Magic City.
The famous three artifacts of Shanghai - syringe, bottle opener and egg beater (Jin Mao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Shanghai Tower) are undoubtedly the best among the Lujiazui skyscrapers.
The Jinmao Tower, the first of the three great buildings, was completed in 1999. It was once the tallest building in mainland China, with a height of 420.5 meters - the third tallest on the right.
At that time, the tallest building in Pudong was 420.5 meters high. It is now the third tallest skyscraper in Shanghai.

It used to be the tallest building in Shanghai, but I remember it was not as tall as the Oriental Pearl Tower. Now it is the third tallest building, surpassed by the bottle opener and egg beater. It has also become a syringe.
I can only say that I have been there, but it was too long ago and I vaguely remember that the building was high and the wind was strong.
The hotel has considerate front desk service, high-rise buildings, beautiful scenery and complete facilities.
I went there with my son, who was about 6 or 7 years old at the time. It is one of the large city landmarks with nice scenery.
There is no need to compare its height with that of Shanghai Tower, but its own height is enough to overlook the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Huangpu River, and the Nanpu Bridge. The buildings in the distance look like toys.
Want to go to the sightseeing floor
Or walking in the clouds
Then come early.
However, it seems that you need to book your tickets for Walking in the Clouds one day in advance.
What a pity
I didn't catch up
It is not so comfortable to take pictures of the Oriental Pearl Tower in the distance
You can go up to see the whole Bund view.
The most famous is the top observation deck, which is crowded with people.
Shanghai Jinmao Tower, 88th floor, takes the elevator and arrives in 40 seconds, which is really fast. Looking down, you can see everything, which is very shocking. I like the development of Shanghai!
There are three famous skyscrapers in Pudong, Shanghai: the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center (with the world's highest observation deck), and the Jin Mao Tower. The Jin Mao Tower was once the tallest building. All three offer panoramic views of Shanghai, but at varying heights, I recommend sticking to just one. Since I was broke, I chose the cheapest option. Plus, you can buy tickets on China-TravelNote for even better deals than the student price!
I timed it right, arriving about half an hour before sunset. Luckily, it wasn't crowded, so I didn't have to reserve a spot to watch the sunset. I took in the daytime scenery first. Through the glass, I could see the Bund and Shanghai in full view. It felt like I was the king of Shanghai, hahaha. There's no need to rush back and forth; it's much better to find a spot, sit down, and quietly wait for the sunset, admiring the transformation of Shanghai from day to night. It's a real treat to be alone, completely immersed in the beauty, in the quiet.
When I first arrived, the sun was still shining brightly.
The Jin Mao Tower is actually a restaurant. Looking down from above, its interior resembles a time tunnel, a notable feature of the building. From the 1st floor to the 88th floor, a height of over 400 meters, it takes less than a minute to reach the other end of the tunnel, offering a bird's-eye view of Shanghai.
Opening hours: 8:30-21:30
Ticket Price: 120 yuan (adults) / 90 yuan (students) [Buy online for a better discount]
Recommended viewing time: 1-2 hours (it is recommended to go up one hour before sunset)
The environment is quiet and the drinks are average, not proportional to the price, but it is suitable for overlooking Shanghai.
Located in the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone, this is the tallest building in mainland China. Climb to the 88th floor observation deck and enter through Entrance 4. 『2017.10』
You can see the panoramic view of Shanghai, 88 floors, the elevator is fast and stable, the view up is very beautiful.
I have also been to the Jinmao Tower countless times, experiencing the sightseeing on the 88th floor and the feeling of weightlessness as I rise 9 meters per second.
One of the three towers of Pudong, the 420.5-meter Jinmao Tower (nicknamed the syringe) has been overshadowed by the 492-meter Shanghai World Financial Center (nicknamed the bottle opener) and the 632-meter Shanghai Tower (nicknamed the marshmallow) next to it, but its appearance is still very beautiful.
There is a fee to reach the top. Which city doesn’t have skyscrapers? It’s better to go home and climb the TV tower.
Worth a visit, very good, very good! @! ! ! !
It is not rare in terms of height, but it is the most classic high-rise building in Lujiazui.
The Jinmao Tower, located in the Lujiazui Jinmao District in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, was completed in 1999 and was once China's tallest building. Standing 420.5 meters tall, it has 88 floors (above ground) housing offices, a hotel (the Grand Hyatt Jinmao), and a shopping mall. The 88th floor is the observation deck (340.1 meters), offering panoramic views of downtown Shanghai and the Huangpu River. The dining options are excellent.
I often stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel here. There is no way, it is arranged by the client.
With the Shanghai Tower and the World Financial Center, few people go to the Jinmao Observation Deck anymore.
The Jinmao Tower, completed in 1999, was once the tallest building in mainland China. It is located in the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone on the banks of the Huangpu River in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, with a height of 420.5 meters.
It was one of the first skyscrapers I encountered as a child. When I first became interested in ancient architecture, I particularly liked the Songyue Temple Pagoda in Songshan. This building is a significant example of the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures, inspired by the dense-eaves, twelve-sided shape of the Songyue Temple Pagoda.
good good good good
At that time, I chose Jinmao Tower over Oriental Pearl Tower. The elevator was very fast and it took more than 40 seconds to reach the top floor. From there, I could overlook the entire Bund.
Book the ticket online in advance, go to the B1 floor and scan the QR code to enter the door directly, then take the elevator from the B1 floor to the 88th floor in 45 seconds.
The Oriental Pearl Tower suddenly became smaller. And the famous 88th floor overlooking the atrium on the first floor is very spectacular.
Because my company is housed in this building, Jinmao is more like an office building than a tourist attraction to me. Every day, every year, a constant stream of people flock to see the splendor of the building and the cityscape below on the 88th floor. Even though buildings like the Shanghai World Financial Center have since surpassed it, Jinmao remains unique!
The height of the Jinmao Tower makes people weak in the knees, but you can see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the side, which is very nice. There is also a coin-operated telescope on the top, which is a bit of a pitfall, haha
It is similar to the Oriental Pearl Tower, except that the hotel inside looks very magnificent from above.
It is also a landmark building in Shanghai. It has an exquisite and beautiful appearance and its interior is also worth seeing.
One of the earliest high-rise buildings in China, I went there once many years ago, and I climbed it again when I went to Shanghai for the second time. I like it very much.
In 2016, I visited Shanghai for the third time and went to the 88th floor of the Jinmao with some classmates to experience the outdoor walking experience! It was so thrilling to be outside on the 88th floor, strapped to a safety rope, with no windows, looking out at the Shanghai nightscape. It was so thrilling! My legs were completely weakened. Haha, those who jump to their deaths must have been so brave. It wasn't very windy up there. Remember to wear pants for this experience; I had a long skirt and it was difficult to wear the safety rope. You get a medal for this experience, which is quite memorable.
Because I went to the World Financial Center, I only saw the Jinmao Tower from the outside.
I saw it from a distance. It is very tall and spectacular. I will go up to see it next time.
88th floor, more than 400 meters, 45 seconds! It's a bit hard for my ears. But you can see the Huangpu River.
It's not a very ideal place. The windows outside are too dirty and the view is not wide.
88 yuan is a rip-off, my friend! Promise me you won’t waste your money, okay?
Once the tallest building in Shanghai, it is now the third tallest building.
At an altitude of over 400 meters, the wind was so strong that I couldn't open my eyes. When I looked down, I was completely stunned.
No need to say more, right? Everyone knows it! Haha!
The ticket is 120 yuan, which is worth a visit, but not really worth it.
When I first went to Shanghai in 2000, the Jinmao Tower was the tallest building in Pudong, and even in China. Times have changed, and now there are two towers overlooking it.
It was once the tallest tower in Shanghai, with 88 floors and a height of 420 meters.
It's one of the landmarks. You must stand at the intersection of the three tall buildings and look up at the sky. You can also visit the rooftop Nine Heavens Bar and the cafe on the 50th floor.
When I went there, there were tour groups trying to get on the elevator, so I looked down and saw that there was no crowding.
It's too high to take a photo! There's an 88th-floor observation deck that overlooks the entire Lujiazui business district. Tickets are available on the basement floor, where there are two restaurants and restrooms.
I went there with my mother and brother in 2007. It was already very beautiful then.
Jinmao Tower is also an iconic building in Shanghai. After visiting it, I found the observation deck on the 88th floor very nice, overlooking Shanghai and its architecture.
Good average good average good average good average
One of the landmark buildings in Shanghai's Lujiazui Financial Center and a popular destination for tourists.
It is a landmark building in Shanghai. It is very tall and is worth looking at. There is nothing interesting to see.
The top floor of the Jinmao Tower is the observation deck. In addition to looking out, you can also see the interior of the building. The glass cover in the middle is transparent, and you can see the first floor lobby of the Jinmao Tower.
When I visited Pudong a few years ago, there weren't many buildings around the Jinmao Tower. It stood tall and majestic, standing alone like a golden rooster. Later, many new buildings were built around it, but the Jinmao Tower still stood tall above them all.
Jinmao Tower is located at the entrance of the Yan'an East Road Tunnel in Pudong, next to Century Avenue. It is situated in the heart of the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, Pudong's core area. It faces the bustling Pudong New Area to the east, the elegant scenery of Shanghai and the Huangpu River to the west, and the Zhangyang Road Commercial and Trade Zone to the south. The Jinmao Tower is not far from the landmark buildings of the Oriental Pearl Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center, and the Center Tower. It can be reached by taking Metro Line 2.
