I started out standing at the spot closest to the flower stand, but soon the staff "drove" us to the edge of the flower stand a little further back. Later, I learned that I was standing at someone else's VIP spot.

After a long wait, the fireworks finally began. The three-hour wait was well worth it. The fireworks were dazzling, and the lights reflected on the castle, making it look particularly dazzling. Finally, our Disney trip came to a close with a magnificent light and fireworks show. If you're not in a hurry, be sure to stay the night to watch the show.

It is best to reserve a seat in advance, which will not affect the viewing experience, but you don’t have to be too close. Just find a seat in the middle. It’s ok to be a little further away, because all the tourists will leave the park after the viewing, and places that are too close will be crowded.

The projections on the castle were absolutely amazing! Paired with the fireworks and music, it was a truly magnificent show! It truly was a journey that ignited everyone's dreams and imaginations. It was a truly breathtaking 20 minutes!!!

By syo |

This is Disney’s highlight, which every visitor is looking forward to, and it is also Disney’s last “visual feast”.

The lights at Disneyland Resort dimmed, and as background music played, a dazzling display of lights and fireworks erupted. The show, which lasted approximately 20 minutes, featured projections and music featuring classic Disney animations. Each scene brought back memories, culminating in the show's climax, when the crowd erupted in excitement and fireworks exploded, illuminating the entire Disneyland and igniting everyone's dreams.

The fireworks show begins promptly at 8:30 PM. After 8:00 PM, you can skip other activities and find a good spot to enjoy the fireworks. Try to get a spot facing the castle so you can see the fountain show. Don't get too close, as it'll be hard to get a good shot. After finishing all the attractions, the clock strikes 8:30 PM, and Disneyland's must-see fireworks show is about to begin. I dragged my tall Superman to the direction facing the castle. Giant projections, dazzling lasers, and dazzling fireworks intertwined, transforming Disney's fairytale castle into a dreamlike world. The castle's exterior continuously reflected breathtaking images. Quietly holding my tall Superman's hand, I watched the sky ablaze with dazzling fireworks, illuminating our happy moment. The beauty of fireworks is fleeting yet dazzling. Even if it's only a second, it must bloom to its fullest. I was fortunate to have spent a magical day in Disneyland's fantasy world with my beloved tall Superman and her friends (Shu Shu and Fat Tiger CP). The sky filled with fireworks witnessed this fairytale that belonged to us.

You can see that there are already a lot of people. Everyone sits on the ground one after another. There are so many people and it is very crowded.

The lights were turned off and the show began. Fireworks and lights lit up the night sky at the same time.

Disney classic stories begin to play as theme music

The little bright lights below are all from the friends’ mobile phones. We took photos and recorded videos together.

When the fireworks are set off, the sky will be bright

A huge ball of light like the energy balls in various anime

The performance lasts about 20 minutes, and the theme song of the cartoon is accompanied by fireworks and lights, creating a visual and auditory feast.

But objectively speaking, the fireworks were not strong. The fireworks show I saw at Discovery Kingdom a few years ago was the best I have ever seen. The overall amount and size of the fireworks this time were not the best.

We grabbed a great seat two hours in advance. Everyone wanted to watch the fireworks and the New Year's Eve celebrations.

After watching it, I feel like it's such a rip-off! Shanghai Disneyland is so stingy. The fireworks here aren't even as exciting as the pressure cooker factory anniversary celebration near my home when I was a kid. They just made a video show to make up the numbers, but there weren't many fireworks. The tickets are so expensive and the price is so low. It's really bad! I should have known not to freeze for two hours! I watched it in Hong Kong from beginning to end, but today I didn't even get a few "wows".

Around 7 p.m., crowds began gathering in the square, ready to grab a spot to watch the fireworks. However, the weather was so bad—windy, rainy, and even lightly snowing—that many people had already left the park early. We nervously searched the square for the best viewing spot until 7:30 p.m., when the announcement came in. Our hearts leaped to our throats, fearing the fireworks show would be canceled. But, with the announcement, "Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's luminous phantom show begins in 30 minutes," we finally felt relieved. We persevered through the cold wind and rain until 8 p.m., when the fireworks finally arrived. Afterward, I had one feeling: the whole day's hard work was worth it! I was truly, truly, truly blessed!

The park’s last “visual feast” of the day is the fantasy fairytale castle covered in colorful lights under the night sky. When the dazzling fireworks rise and bloom, spreading the joyous atmosphere in all directions, and the dazzling sparks illuminate the night sky, it is simply beautiful!

The first time I saw it, I was truly astonished. It was definitely worth a third of the ticket price. The fireworks started at 8:30 pm sharp in the Garden Square. Half an hour beforehand, all the staff would remind visitors of the fireworks time so they wouldn't miss it.

There were continuous colorful fireworks scattered into the night sky from the castle, accompanied by the Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Nemo the Clownfish, Mickey Mouse, Pirates of the Caribbean...all of which were familiar cartoon characters in my childhood. I was very excited to watch them, and hummed along with the animation music from the beginning to the end. I believe this was also a wonderful and unforgettable night in the eyes of my baby.

By Ayiniris |

But when you see this grand light and fireworks show, you still want to cry. The touch brought by this beauty is instantaneous and eternal.

At 7:40, we entered the reserved concierge viewing area for the fireworks show amidst a sea of envious people. That moment of vanity was truly satisfying! The rest of the experience was truly beyond description. You should watch at least two fireworks shows: one in the absolute center of attention, and the other from anywhere.

As the night fell and the music started, the "Light Up Your Dreams: A Nighttime Light Show" finally began. As the castle's exterior walls continued to project beautiful images, scenes from classic Disney animations were about to come to life. This fireworks and light show, full of magical colors and extraordinary movement, lasted for nearly half an hour. Giant projections, dazzling lasers and brilliant fireworks complemented each other, rendering the world's largest Disney castle into a dreamlike magical world.

The dreamlike scene is so real that even ten thousand photos cannot express it. You will truly feel the heat from the fireworks and the splashes of the water curtain. You stand there like a pure child. This fireworks display is for you, to crown your past and also to wish you a brilliant future.

This firework is a ritual I give myself, to protect the fairy tale in my heart. In the future, I will always keep a childlike heart.

By Cat Lover Traveler |

I think the most worthwhile thing about this trip to Disneyland is the fireworks and light show! It was so beautiful!

I say it again, I strongly recommend the concierge, there is a dedicated area to watch the light and fireworks show, the cost-effectiveness is very high ~ you don't have to compete with others for a place, and you may not be able to see it well.

The entrance to the concierge area is directly opposite Treasure Bay. Just show the red ticket to the staff and they will take you there.

I feel like the quality of the population needs to be improved. After watching the show, the whole place is full of all kinds of garbage. Can't they just take it away?

By English Rose |

Starting at 8:30 in the evening, the 20-minute music, light and fireworks show is worth seeing.

We went to Mickey Avenue 1 hour in advance to wait. We had to go there at least 1 hour in advance, otherwise there would be no good seats in the front. Many people sat on the ground waiting.

By DrZou |

It's so beautiful. You have to wait until the fireworks are over before leaving. It's a beautiful experience. The lighting effects are amazing.

By Goldfish in frying pan |

Disneyland usually closes at 8pm, and the fireworks show before closing is the highlight of the day!

A little spoiler: there was a fantastic 3D projection with a castle as the background, a fancy fountain show, and non-stop fireworks.

I've been to many theme parks before, and they all ended with a fantastic fireworks display. But I always felt that the fire show was out of place. First, it wasn't as bright and beautiful as the fireworks, and second, it only added to the heat, which was very uncomfortable.

But when I arrived at Disneyland on a cold, drizzling winter day, I loved the moment when the flames erupted. Words can't fully express the feeling, but a warm fire in the cold winter is far more precious and moving than the distant fireworks.

By You look delicious |

Why are other people's photos of fireworks so beautiful, while mine look like ghosts...

By raorao |

It's a great experience, I recommend you to grab a good viewing position early.

By Chang |

Disney's light show is the most famous, and the effects of the light show will refresh you. Highly recommended!

By 33 degrees snow |

We waited there more than two hours in advance to watch the fireworks show in the evening. Everyone sat on the ground. The temperature at night was at least 6 to 7 degrees lower than in the morning. It was super cold.

When the show was about to start, the broadcast announced that due to weather conditions and legal regulations, fireworks could not be set off. People who had been waiting for more than two hours were really heartbroken. My colleague who was going to leave on the same day said that since there would be no fireworks show, she would leave early. I didn't give up and foolishly held my phone and waited until the last moment. I took videos for more than 20 minutes, but no fireworks were set off at the last moment. I was really disappointed.

By Rabbit riding a donkey |

Because the children were afraid of the noise of fireworks and it was difficult to walk after the show ended, they stood far away and could not see anything from the fireworks show when taking pictures.

By Big Head |

The fireworks show truly deserves to be the grand finale, and it's truly not to be missed. It begins promptly at 8:30 pm, featuring nearly every major Disney character. As the music reaches its climax, the fireworks soar into the sky. The highlight, and the one that gets the crowd buzzing, is the Frozen section. The fireworks during that sequence are probably the most beautiful, and the grand finale. By the end of the fireworks show, everyone is incredibly excited, standing up to take photos. I highly recommend avoiding taking photos at this point, as any photos you take will likely be from people holding their phones high up in front of you. Put your phone down and enjoy the show with your own eyes. Photos captured with a phone are far less stunning and spectacular than what you'll see with your own eyes. It's truly a visual and auditory feast, and one you shouldn't miss. I strongly recommend putting your phone down and taking in the moment.

Our half-day trip to Disneyland ended with a spectacular fireworks display. To get a good spot for the fireworks display, you need to go there in advance. We wandered around and didn't have any special needs, so we just watched from a distance.

By DP is too much of a waste of time studying |

Highly recommended! You have to watch it carefully and get there early to secure a spot, preferably around 8:00 AM. The spectacle is magnificent, and the fireworks are dazzling. You definitely don't want to just look at other people's heads. The road to the castle is blocked off at night, so you have to go around the carousel from Fantasyland to reach Disneytown. So it's wise to go through Tomorrowland.

We thought it would start at 8:00, but it turned out to be 8:30, and we were practically losing our patience. At 6:00, people started arriving near the Enchanted Storybook Castle to grab seats for the show. Since it was still early, we went shopping and browsed around. By 6:30, we were exhausted, so we found a spot in the middle and sat down to wait for the show.

We had just sat down for a short time, and before 7 o'clock, the whole area was surrounded by people. It was crowded with people. It was at this moment that you realized how many people entered the park today, hahahaha

As the finale of Disneyland, the show was truly a classic! My phone and camera ran out of battery and memory – it was truly incredible! The luminous spectacle lasted about 20 minutes.

With the end of it, our Disney trip also drew a perfect end. Although we saw fewer performances, I was very satisfied to be able to play so many projects.

By Heart in the sea of stars |

Disney's Luminous Spectacular is definitely worth one-third of the ticket price. The first time I saw it, it was really shocking, and the second time was also pretty good. The only thing is that if you want a front row seat, you have to go there early and wait, otherwise you will be squeezed to the very back. After watching this, you can leave the park. It's more than half an hour and it's really great.

By Please eat rice cake |

At 8 o'clock, the area in front of the castle was packed with people, and all the good seats were gone.

The phantom light show includes fireworks, light projections, fountain water screen projections, and music. It can be said to be a perfect visual feast. We went to reserve a seat an hour and a half in advance the next day, but the best viewing positions were already gone. Here I would like to remind everyone that you can stand and watch on Mickey Avenue, but in front of Mickey Avenue, everyone has to sit and watch. The staff will constantly remind those standing in the crowd to sit down and watch.

The seats we found were perfect, but we didn't expect to have to sit down to watch the show. Although we could see the whole thing, it was still not as good as standing.

Reminder: Please take off your headband when watching the light show. Otherwise, it will block the tourists behind you.

After 20 minutes, there was almost no storyline, no fireworks, and people began to disperse, but there were still 10 minutes left, with lights and music, which was also very beautiful. At the end, the light projection disappeared, and the lights inside the castle began to light up. This time was very beautiful, I hope everyone will not miss it~

By Wenwen |

The fireworks will be set off at the Garden Square at 8:30 on time. Half an hour in advance, the project staff will remind tourists of the fireworks time to avoid missing the time.

There are some seats in the square where you can sit on the lawn and are closer to the front, but it seems that reservations are required (I don’t know if it costs extra). Tourists who don’t have a reserved seat can go to Mickey Avenue to watch.

In fact, the fireworks at Shanghai Disneyland are more like a light show. Phantoms hit the castle, accompanied by music and cartoons, while the fireworks are more like inadvertent sneaking out, very small and occasional.

By It's the fruit of the fruit✨ |

When your entire childhood animations are presented on this castle with the effects of lights and music, and when fireworks burst into the sky, you will feel that your dream has really come true... Be sure to reserve a seat in advance. The half-hour show lasts from 20:15 to 20:45. The best seat is in the middle of the Fantasy Garden on the map. You can see the whole castle very well. I arrived at 7 o'clock and there was no good seat left. I moved a little further back and saw two-thirds of the castle, which was also perfect.

By Zhang ying |

Show time: 8:30 pm (starts on time, please find the best seat at least 1 hour in advance)

Fireworks blanket the entire castle, a sight every girl will love. Through breathtaking projections, lasers, fountains, and other special effects, Mickey Mouse will transform the Enchanted Storybook Castle into a fantastical new world, igniting the dreams in all of us. It's like unleashing Disney magic, lighting up the night with breathtaking special effects and transforming the Enchanted Storybook Castle into a magnificent spectacle! Highly recommended!

The reserved area was truly amazing, completely unobstructed. Many foreigners simply dropped their backpacks and lay down to watch the fireworks; it was a true delight. Children also lay down, their feet up, and watched the breathtakingly beautiful animations and fireworks display, their eyes wide open. Sometimes there are two shows, sometimes just one. The schedule can be found directly on the Shanghai Disney Resort app or the official Shanghai Disney Resort WeChat account. The 7:30 PM show ends around 8:00 PM.

I did a good deed at Disneyland before, and as a result, Disney gave me a VIP seat for the fireworks. The last day of the season pass was super perfect!

There are two VIP areas. We were in the back area. If we arrived early, we could sit on the reclining chairs in the last row. If we arrived late, we could sit on the ground in the front. Since everyone was VIP, they were still very orderly.

Personally, I think the reclining chair is the best position, the VIP among VIPs, you can see the whole performance.

The whole show lasted less than half an hour. I thought it would be more than 20 minutes. When it ended after more than 20 minutes, many people stood up and left, but it turned out that there were more to come, so we insisted on watching until the end.

It was truly breathtaking! My friends and I were transfixed. The little girl on my left, who had been clamoring to her dad before the show started because it was too hot, finally asked him for his phone to film the entire thing. The little boy on my right was jumping around in his recliner, but he was such a quiet beauty during the show, hahaha. So, it was truly amazing! The fireworks were just the highlight; the most important thing about this luminous illusion show is, of course, the illusion! There were so many scenes with the water in the front! I actually cried when Mulan appeared! This show truly lights up dreams!

Personally, I think spending 200 per session is well worth it! After all, the 150 per-minute premium experience is a great value! Plus, you don't have to squeeze into Mickey Avenue, where there are so many unruly tourists ruining your day. Last time, my mom and I saw it for 13 minutes before leaving. From a distance, you can only appreciate the show's visuals, but you can't really see the story it's trying to convey.

In order to have a better view of the movie, I used a mobile phone + wide-angle lens to shoot the video, and then put the screen against my chest and kept it there. My eyes were completely not looking at the screen, and I was just watching the big show on the castle. Ha~ So after it was over, I looked at my own filming and it was not very good. It feels really great to see the beautiful scenes with your own eyes and keep them in your heart!

Although the last day of the season pass was incredibly crowded, I was truly moved that evening! Afterward, we lined up for Roaring Mountain, and ended up seeing our second phantom show of the day there. A perfect day! A perfect last day of July!

By Thinking of Yangyu. |

Normally, the show starts at 8:30 PM. However, on July 31st, there might be a crowd, so two shows were scheduled: one at 7:30 PM and one at 9:00 PM. Regarding seating, I've read guides that say you should grab a good spot and go early to reserve one. I don't think that's necessary; just find a spot with a panoramic view of the castle. It's pretty easy to find. If you have children, choose a spot near a trash can or even the railings so they can stand on top of it and have an unobstructed view.

By Yingxuan |

How can a day be complete without watching the castle fireworks? Because it was the weekend when I went there, there was an additional castle fireworks show in the evening, so I decided to watch the second one.

I originally thought that there would be fewer people at 9 o'clock, but in fact there were quite a lot of people. Everyone sat on the ground, watching the Disney cartoon characters appear on the castle, waiting for the night sky to be lit up by colorful fireworks. This scene was romantic and wonderful.

By Cherish |

There are two fireworks shows, at 7:30 and 9:00... We watched the 7:30 show. There were a lot of people and we had to stand far away, but it still didn't affect its beauty.

By ♀Happiness♀ |

Having learned from the previous day’s lesson, we decided to get there early to find the best viewing spot.

Many people probably had the same idea as us. Even though we arrived in front of the castle two hours in advance to find a seat, it was still crowded. Fortunately, we finally found a seat in the "sitting" viewing area at the front, and we could finally sit down and look up to enjoy the feast of lights.

Two hours was not easy to endure. The ground was scorching hot, the sun was shining, and sweat was streaming down my cheeks.

By Take a break |

Located in the castle at Imaginationland, this show is truly memorable and will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable. Currently, there are two shows daily, at 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM.

The best free viewing spot is from the entrance to the World of Imagination, straight ahead until you reach the cordoned-off area. Be sure to face the castle as closely as possible, and aim for the front row, as there will undoubtedly be people snapping photos. Sitting in the front row offers a more stunning view. Also, be aware that fireworks launch from both sides of the castle, and there's a water curtain in front of it, so seating near the front or back isn't recommended. As for the show, you have to experience it firsthand. Remember, if you want to see it best, arrive at least an hour early. We arrived 40 minutes early for the 7:30 PM show, but only got to see the last one. The Garden of Imagination was packed, and staff wouldn't let you in except for VIPs and ticketed guests. The show lasted about 20 minutes, and after the 7:30 PM show, we went in to reserve seats for the 9:00 PM show. So, we saw two shows in a row, the content was the same, but the experience was completely different. It's definitely worth seeing.

By TUTU |

You can see the water curtain show in the front, and the illusion is very clear, but if your seat is not good, the lamp posts may block your view. You can see the panoramic view from the back, but you may not be able to see the water curtain. I personally recommend going at 6 o'clock to grab the best viewing seat in the front row because it is really spectacular!

Luminous Phantom Show: (You might have missed your trip if you didn’t watch it)

By Cross-domain travel |

Besides the adorable characters and fun rides, the most anticipated attraction at Shanghai Disneyland is the "Luminous Dreams" show! The dazzling fireworks, beautiful music, and the light and shadow of classic Disney stories are truly exciting. Many say that this fireworks show alone is worth the price of admission.

Regarding the fireworks show, although some friends said that it was smaller than when the park opened and Hong Kong Disneyland, it was still very spectacular. The only pity was that I didn't bring a camera. There were only 15 minutes left before the show started at 8:30, and the free places for watching were already taken.

By Miss Fan's Travels |

The fireworks show at night is very nice, and you need to find a good spot an hour in advance.

There are two spots in the park. They are the best for watching the fireworks. However, you need to arrive an hour in advance and be sure to stand in line.

The first position is the hardest to get in the park (yellow dot). It is in the center of the castle.

The second position, the red dot, is difficult to get. You need to stand there an hour in advance, and there will be reflections when taking photos.

By Just Xia Anan |

For the evening light show, we excitedly guarded the best viewing position.

The show officially began just before 8 p.m., and the area was already packed with people. All the lights in the square went out instantly. Two extremely thin fireworks streaked through the darkness, converging at the top of the castle. A knowing smile crossed my face. This was a classic Disney opening. Familiar theme songs, classic scenes, and a dazzling display of fireworks that filled the screen. The Lion King, the Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Mulan... Awe, emotion, and overflowing happiness.

Such a show is definitely worth staying an extra night in Shanghai.

By The third type of people |

It starts at 8:30 PM. Crowds, crowds, umbrellas—that's the fireworks show! I didn't see much the whole time. My husband and I were holding our baby, so there were so many people. So, if you really love Disney, buy a VIP ticket for the fireworks. Otherwise, you really won't see anything. It's better to queue up and enjoy the attractions! I just went to the flying man fireworks show at Chimelong in Zhuhai, and it was much better. Because the stage is built around the lake, you can see it from all directions. At Disney, you can only watch it from directly opposite the castle. Tens of thousands of people are squeezed into the park, so the effect is just haha!

At around 8:45 p.m., the fireworks finally ended!

By Su Su Su Su is Zhe Zhe |

18:40 When I went there, the seats near the front of the square were all full. I heard that there would be an apparition on the castle, so I didn’t run to the bridge to see the reflection.

I really had to sit and wait. I found a seat on the street and waited until 8:20 in the evening. The street was full of people.

The 8:30 show was packed by 7:00! You could only get a seat near the fountain! So if you really want a great spot, go around 5:00 to get one. They were all familiar stories and songs, from The Lion King to The Little Mermaid, from Nemo to Up, from Caribbean to Frozen! Yes! Shanghai Disneyland really loves Caribbean and Frozen! They're everywhere! The lighting, music, and nostalgia brought me to tears several times. It was so moving and nostalgic, like the youth I can never get back! 4 stars.

The square in front of the Enchanted Storybook Castle was already packed. I found a spot with a good view and waited for half an hour. "Light Up the Dream: A Nighttime Light Spectacular" opened promptly at 8:00 AM. It was truly breathtaking, with stunning sound effects. If you've been to Hong Kong Disneyland, you'll clearly recognize Shanghai Disneyland as a dazzling light show. True to its name, "Light Up the Dream: A Nighttime Light Spectacular" (likely referring to a spectacle), the fireworks were reduced, supposedly for environmental reasons. Still, the light show was truly breathtaking. Ever since Zhang Yimou's Beijing Olympics, China's light shows have reached new heights.

The fireworks show started promptly at 8:00 AM and lasted for half an hour. We watched the entire show from a sitting position. That's right, we sat on the ground. This was unexpected, as the viewing area is on a slope, so sitting ensured everyone had a good view. Very user-friendly.

The fireworks at Disneyland are really beautiful. We watched the first show and then booked a shuttle bus back at 9pm. There is another fireworks display at 9pm, so friends who are interested can watch it before returning.

The nighttime phantom show at 8:30 PM is a fireworks display. The visual experience is very strong and shocking, and it is definitely worth the queue and the crowded waiting time!

As night falls, a vibrant display of projections, lasers, fountains, balloons, and fireworks unfolds above the "Enchanted Storybook Castle," leaving you to admire and capture the spectacle. The best viewing spot is between the carousel and the castle. Find the carousel on the app to locate it. Check the show time and arrive at the best viewing area at least half an hour beforehand; otherwise, you won't be able to enter and the staff will cordon off the area.

At 6:30, we decided to go to the front of the castle early to grab a seat~~~~~ Fighting with more than 40,000 people for a seat is not an easy task~~It was crowded with people... people... people... people... After sitting down, you can't move around casually, and you have to go to the bathroom quickly and come back quickly. The staff on site are directing the scene~~~~~Night gradually falls~~~~First there is a light show~~Then there is a fireworks show~~~~~~~

Waiting in the cold wind until night, waiting for this fireworks show is worth it.

I watched a British movie and read a novel by Yi Shu, "She is lonelier than fireworks." Every time I see fireworks, I think of this description and feel lost.

But this fireworks display is not lonely, it is extremely wonderful.

I arrived at the square in front of the castle a little over an hour early, and there were already quite a few people seated there. The show lasted about 18 minutes, with various light and shadow displays, a few fireworks, and even some firework displays. These light and firework shows are everywhere these days, but after seeing them so often, I didn't find them particularly impressive. I personally think the highlight was the "Let It Go" sound. The fireworks were relatively few and not particularly exciting, and I expected a separate fireworks display after the light show, but there wasn't.

5 stars! You absolutely must see it! It's absolutely stunning. The fireworks and light show, combined with the Disney animation, are so beautiful! It's truly a dream come true! (Smirking: I've seen a lot of people online accidentally filming Disney fireworks shows as explosions.) Remember to go early to get a good spot.

The signal that Shanghai Disneyland is nearing the end of its business, the final attractions of the ride, the climax of the summary... In short, happiness, excitement, irritability (an essential emotion when queuing), girlishness, and other beautiful and tiring emotions must be put on a perfect end to a day at Disney by watching this fireworks show that lights up dreams.

The perfect combination of projection, laser, fountain, fireworks and music has to be the best light show in China, and no one dares to say that they rank second to Disney.

The charming night, the dreamy castle, and the dazzling fireworks light up everyone's dreams.

The fireworks show is not just about fireworks, there are also light projections on the castle. The light projections are about classic Disney stories, such as The Lion King, Mulan, Frozen, Aladdin, etc. There is also a musical fountain in front of the castle, so many people go to reserve a seat about an hour in advance. Since we wanted to experience as many projects as possible, we didn't go to reserve a seat, but we watched two fireworks shows, so it was worth it.

The fireworks display was really beautiful, but I didn’t pay much attention to taking pictures because I wanted to watch the whole thing.

It's more of a light show than a fireworks display, with the castle as the backdrop, a visual feast for the eyes with the lights and fireworks. It starts at 8pm, but the seats in the center and front are likely to be sold out early. If you haven't already taken up space in front of the square with your mat by 7pm, then find a spot in the middle and enjoy the show in silence.

The light show basically took into account all the Disney classics, including The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Aladdin, Lilo and Stitch, Finding Nemo, Frozen, Pocahontas, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid... I was probably the only one in the audience who almost cried like my mother did after watching it...

You will need a VIP Express Pass to reserve a seat in the VIP area for the fireworks show. However, you can ask the store to mail it back to you as a souvenir.

At 7:10, we began waiting for the fireworks. Since we had VIP tickets, we headed straight to the VIP area at the front of the castle. With no one blocking our view, we could relax and fully immerse ourselves in the Disney fairytale world.

The grand fireworks display woven together every Disney classic. The dazzling display of light and sound was a breathtaking spectacle. Watching the fireworks flicker, listening to the familiar songs, and watching the characters appear one by one amidst the illusions of light and shadow, the emotion deepened.

The fireworks show is a must-see; it was truly magical. The kids loved it. Our show started at 7 PM and closed at 7:30 PM! That's pretty early! I really think Shanghai Disneyland has shrunk significantly! Hong Kong Disneyland even has nighttime parades, but we didn't have any of that here! It closed at 7:30 PM.

At 8 o'clock in the evening, you must grab a seat an hour in advance. The beautiful light show, the castle's ever-changing show, the magical night of fireworks, and the final wonderful performance that bids farewell to Disney are must-sees.

Around 7:00 PM, the area surrounding the castle was already packed with people. Such popularity was due to the day's most fantastical fireworks display. The park's last "visual feast" of the day, the fantasy fairytale castle, draped in a dazzling array of lights under the night sky, remains a shining star in everyone's hearts. Since tripods are not allowed, the top of a lakeside street lamp naturally became my ideal spot. As the dazzling fireworks rose and exploded, spreading the joyous atmosphere in all directions, and the dazzling sparks illuminated the night sky, each of us felt as pure as a child at that moment. Recommendation: 5 stars

TIPS: The performance on that day is at 20:30. Although the location by the lake is far away, the view is also excellent. But you must go at least 1 hour in advance. After all, good spots are on a first-come, first-served basis!

By Little Horn Mother |

If you haven’t been there, you can’t imagine how many people there are. The performance is right in front of the castle, with music, fireworks, and animated characters appearing one by one on the castle!

I really want to complain about the evening fireworks show. We found a good seat around 7:00 PM, but when the fireworks started, everyone stood up. It was a real scramble to get in, and it was exhausting. If you have the money, you can book dinner in the Royal Banquet Hall for an extra 200 yuan per person, which gets you VIP seating. A friend tried it and found it too close to the castle. While the water curtain movie was fantastic, the heat during the fire show was unbearable.

We arrived near the castle at around 7:10. Forget about the unobstructed seats in the front, as they were all taken early. Fortunately, there were still some seats around the circular flower bed in the middle.

There are many trees in front of the flower bed that block the view, so we chose a location on the left. Although there is a street lamp in front that slightly blocks the view, it is generally not bad!

When we chose our seats, there were almost no tourists sitting on the ground in this area. People were just walking around and choosing seats. Don't hesitate, once you've chosen your seat, sit down quickly, because in a few minutes, you'll find that the seats around you are already full of people.

So, be sure to check your seats in advance and sit down quickly once you've chosen them. As the fireworks show approaches, the crowds will get increasingly crowded, and you might not even get a seat!

There will be a cordon around the circular flower bed. We sat next to the cordon. People are not allowed to sit between the flower bed and the cordon. Only staff are inside to maintain order.

The fireworks show starts on time at 8 o'clock in the evening. It is very exciting. You can see many Disney characters and hear Disney's classic music. I won’t go into details about the content, so come and experience it for yourself!

The last highlight of the day is also the reason why many people stick to it~

When the castle fireworks ended, it still felt like a dream. Maybe that’s the magic of Disney.

Manyuexuan is not far from the castle, making it a great place to watch the evening fireworks. The area was packed early, and the VIP seats were already reserved. It wasn't just fireworks; fountains, lasers, and overhead projections combined to create a dazzling display of scenes from Disney animations. It's just that there were so many people! So, while everyone was watching the fireworks, if you were going to Tron Lightcycle Run, Soar Over the Horizon, or Roaring Mountain during that time... Hahaha~ you could definitely see it all, or even go twice!

The light show may not be available if the weather is bad or it rains.

The entire show is about all the Disney characters, and it's really shocking to watch it.

By bang |

The brilliant lights and music, the flares streaking across the sky and the jets of flames... I just wanted to quietly appreciate and feel the awe that Disney brought me.

Beautiful fireworks, remember to go early or you will be waiting in the crowd

It is Disney's grand finale. The lights and the beautiful fireworks show are a perfect match. It is also accompanied by interludes from many classic Disney movies. Of course, you must experience this wonderful fairy tale feeling in person.

By China-TravelNote users |

It's 7:45, and the best place to watch the fireworks is already at the People Mountain and People Sea. It feels like there's no place to stand.

We also squeezed in and found a small space to wait for the fireworks. The fireworks were really worth watching. I recorded the whole process on video and it was very shocking.

The fireworks show started at 8:30, and because it was a holiday, we had two shows at 7:30 and 9:30. I pulled my companions to brush the project and didn't go to take a seat. It was full of people.

When making the guide, it said the best viewing location: Walt and Mickey's statues

Disney's fireworks show is a regular feature every night, and it will be performed as usual unless the weather is particularly bad. We visited the park for two days, the first day was sunny, and the second day had moderate rain, but the fireworks were still performed as usual.

If you dine in the Royal Banquet Hall, you have the right to purchase a deluxe movie-watching experience at a price of 200 yuan per person. Some people think it's expensive, but apart from the cost of the meal, these 200 yuan per person movie tickets are still worth buying. They come with popcorn or a cup from Lao Tengshu Food Store, and you can watch the show close to the castle with no obstruction. If you just come to Disneyland to watch the fireworks, I really recommend buying them.

Although you can see the fireworks in the distance, the light show on the water curtain and the castle is not very clear.

The light show opened with The Lion King, and when the endless music sounded, we really felt like we were at Glory Rock.

By the time we arrived in front of the castle, it was past 7:00, and a few people had already gathered near the gardens, securing their seats. Staff had set up a cordon, and standing in the passageways was prohibited. We found a seat directly in front of the castle, along the garden passageway. Initially, we suspected we wouldn't be able to see the fireworks, but the guy in front of us suddenly turned and said he'd seen the fireworks several times, and this was the best spot. Wow, I felt incredibly relieved and sat down. You have to sit on the ground to watch the Phantom Show near the gardens. If you arrive late or don't want to sit on the ground, you can stand on Mickey Avenue. While it's farther away, you can still see the entire show.

I have to say a few words about the Disney staff. A lot of people didn't follow the rules, didn't sit where they should, and squeezed for seats. To avoid any unnecessary incidents, the staff started yelling and cursing at people. In a normal situation, a fight would probably break out. While waiting for the fireworks, we kept hearing the staff walking around and yelling at people. It was a bit of a letdown, and a bit infuriating.

As eight o'clock approached, the staff gradually disappeared, finally returning us to peace. The fireworks show began promptly at eight o'clock, accompanied by music, dazzling lights, colorful fireworks, and occasional bursts of fire, the atmosphere was repeatedly brought to a climax. The castle walls were projected with scenes from various fairy tales, and everyone's face was painted with colorful smiles.

The main event, usually around 8:30 p.m., begins: the Light Up the Dream Night Lights, a fireworks display, the main attraction. By this time, nearly everyone is flocking to the central castle to watch the grand finale. This makes it the hardest to find a seat, with many arriving an hour or two in advance to secure a spot. We arrived around 8 p.m., and it was already difficult to find a place to sit. We ended up climbing a fence and leaning against a light pole to watch the show through. Still, we had a blast.

Starts at 8 o'clock, 20 minutes.

The angle and the phone camera are not very good, and the front is also in a variety of gears, so... I didn't take any good photos.

Next time if you go, it would be better to stand on a bridge and enjoy it quietly.

Show time: 8:00 PM (starts on time, please find your seat at least 1 hour in advance)

Don't think watching fireworks is just about looking at the sky; the main attraction is the castle, which will be illuminated by a variety of themed light shows to complement the fireworks. It's like unleashing Disney magic, lighting up the night with stunning special effects, and transforming the "Enchanted Storybook Castle" into a magnificent spectacle!
