This free park doesn't seem to have much to offer on a regular basis, but during cherry blossom season, it's a great place to visit. To reach Luxun Park, take Metro Line 8 and exit at Hongkou Football Stadium Station. As you exit the station, you'll find a cherry blossom path called the Sino-Japanese Cherry Blossom Garden. I think the cherry blossoms here are even better than those in the park. While the cherry blossoms in Luxun Park are still worth seeing, the trees aren't as densely packed together, making them less spectacular. Therefore, close-up photos of the cherry blossoms here are better.

The park is quite large and houses the Lu Xun Museum, which is free to enter. The museum displays Lu Xun's clothing and works, and introduces his life. I only took a quick look and wasn't particularly interested. However, I have to say that Lu Xun was truly a great writer, and his literary style and insight are truly admirable.

After leaving the Luxun Museum, the first thing you see is Luxun Park. It is very large, with small bridges, flowing water, green plants and rocks. There are many Shanghai local grandparents taking a walk in the park, and there is also the Sunset Red Band rehearsing a piece of music. Listening to the gurgling water combined with the instruments and singing, well, how can you say it is leisurely?

Every year in late March and early April, the cherry blossoms here bloom as promised, creating a sea of flowers from afar. The flowers contrast beautifully with the tall buildings in the heart of Shanghai, and are even more beautiful on sunny days.

Luxun Park boasts a beautiful environment. Although small, it provides an excellent leisure and entertainment venue for surrounding residents. Formerly known as Hongkou Park, Luxun Park is located at 280 Tianai Branch Road, Sichuan North Road, Hongkou District, Shanghai. Covering 286,300 square meters, it is a major historical and cultural memorial park in Shanghai and China's first sports park. Within the park lies Luxun's Tomb, a nationally protected cultural relic.

It's just okay, I don't recommend going there specifically.

After reading everyone's comments, they all said the same thing: Mr. Lu Xun's tomb, his memorial hall, and the plum garden. However, every summer, the most beautiful thing in the park is the lotus. Countless girls sit by the lotus pond for a long time and are unwilling to leave.

Located next to the Hongkou Football Stadium in Shanghai, this large, free public park features green lawns, hills, and an artificial lake for boating. As China's first sports park, it boasts numerous sports fields, where young people run laps, seniors play cards, and groups of elderly choirs sing, accompanied by the chorus of musical instruments. The park also houses the Lu Xun Memorial Hall.

There's a small playground in Luxun Park. While the facilities are a bit dated, it still feels retro. While the airplanes are getting taller and the roller coasters are getting faster, there are still some simple childhood memories that are irreplaceable.

Free attractions.

It’s very large inside, so I didn’t walk through it all - my goal was to visit the attractions that I had in mind.

There are no waves on the lake

Reflections of land and water

The signage in the park is not very clear.

Although the distance is indicated, there is no sign at the entrance of the attraction indicating what it is, so it is easy to miss it.

On Tianai Branch Road, Sichuan North Road, Hongkou District, there are Lu Xun's Tomb, Lu Xun Memorial Hall, and Plum Garden, the memorial site of Yun Bong-gil's heroic act. They are all here. The overall layout is like England. You can come here to rest when you are tired of shopping.

Luxun Park was a frequent haunt of Mr. Lu Xun during his lifetime. His tomb is located here, making it a great place to remember him. That day, I stumbled upon a group of elderly people seeking marriage partners for their children, which was truly an eye-opener. Shanghai's internet-famous Tianai Road is right next to Luxun Park.

Once China's first sports park, it boasts numerous sports fields, where young people run laps, seniors play cards, and a large elderly choir sings, accompanied by the cacophony of musical instruments. A corner of the park also houses the Lu Xun Cemetery, home to a seated statue of Mr. Lu Xun. Shanghai Lu Xun Park commemorates this May Fourth Movement champion.

For cherry blossom viewing, Gucun Park is too far away. It's also nice to just stroll around Luxun Park in the city. Luxun Park has more cultural heritage than Gucun Park. There's a large cherry blossom park right outside Exit 1 of Line 8, and there's also a large cherry blossom park inside the North Gate on Dalian Road. The cherry blossom season is so short. I went to the park today and the cherry blossoms were already a little withered.

Luxun Park is a small, free park, popular with elderly people exercising and toddlers in the morning. There are several memorials to Lu Xun in the park, as well as the Luxun Memorial Hall. Built in the style of Shaoxing residential buildings, the hall displays exhibits on Lu Xun's life. There are many exhibits, but I didn't take any photos. Among them is Lu Xun's death mask, said to be the museum's treasure, though it's also a replica.

It is recommended to get off at Hongkou Football Stadium subway station, walk to Luxun Park, and visit the Luxun Memorial Hall inside. The museum is designed very carefully. If you have extra time, you can walk out of Luxun Park and visit Luxun's former residence on Shanyin Road.

This park is dedicated to Lu Xun, and is otherwise pretty much like any other park. I spent the longest time at the World Writers Square. Without looking at the ground, can you identify the corresponding writers? There's also Lu Xun's tomb nearby, which I think is a cenotaph of some kind.

By Greater Freedom |

In the morning, I took the subway to Hongkou Football Stadium Station to eat Wanshouzhai's dumplings. When I came out, I found that the subway station was right opposite Luxun Park.

The park, centered around Lu Xun's tomb, is of average size and can be circumnavigated in about 40 minutes. The park is currently free, though there seems to be a plum garden inside, which has an entrance fee and is also closed to the public. Near the road are the children's playground and restaurants, which can be a bit noisy. In the center of the park, it's a place dominated by middle-aged women, whose music is unbearable. I left after ten minutes. Of course, nearby residents are still happily enjoying this green space.

I didn't expect that there were so many people in Luxun Park on a weekend morning. Although it was only 9:30, the park was full of people exercising and many children on vacation. The weather was also very good that day. The sky was very beautiful, with blue sky and white clouds, green plants below, and flowers blooming in the flower beds. It was so beautiful. If it wasn't too hot, the park would be a great place to relax. I really still love natural scenery more.

By summer |

If it weren't for Lu Xun's burial here, it would be no different from any other park, a lively and relaxing place. You can see elderly people playing chess, singing, playing cards, and dancing. There's also a matchmaking corner where parents arrange matchmaking for their children. Several umbrellas are placed on the ground, and the children's personal information is written on cards, which are densely packed inside the umbrellas for people to choose from.

On the other side of the park is Mr. Lu Xun's cemetery.

[Refuse to Stay Home 2] It was a little rainy, but it was perfect for a walk in the park. The park is quite large, with both mountains and water. The small lotus pond and Beida Mountain were a bit of a surprise, and the scenery is very beautiful. I really like places with mountains and water. Shanghai is located in an alluvial plain, so there are not many mountains and water. I felt it in the park this time, I loved it 😄

In winter, you can visit the park to know the world; in summer, you can explore the sea to broaden your mind. Lu Xun Park is located in the north of Shanghai, in Hongkou. It was originally Hongkou Park, but was named Lu Xun Park because Mr. Lu Xun's tomb was moved here.

Entering from the main gate, there is a big road, which is symmetrically laid out with an axis as the main framework. The ground is paved with stone slabs and there are lamp posts on the road. The base of the posts is rectangular with carved coats of arms on it. There are five lamps on the top to form a star pattern. The waist is decorated with horse heads looking in all directions. The end of the road is a platform. Its shape and structure are in the British style.

Crossing the path and crossing the terrace, you'll find a shaded path. Following this path, you'll find an object on the left. Upon closer inspection, it's a drinking fountain. Built of stone, it resembles a scroll, with Roman columns connecting its wings. A concave platform with an arched roof rises in the center. Three steps lead up to a stone trough, and the faucet inside is made of bronze and decorated with exquisite patterns. Inside, pipes are driven into the ground, drawing water from three springs. Pebbles, fine sand, and charcoal are placed to filter the water, making it drinkable and refreshingly sweet. Furthermore, the water from the underground springs is warm in winter and cool in summer, so people say it's endlessly valuable to dig and drink.

I continued walking until I reached Yingzhu Pavilion, a former pavilion on the shores of Yokogawa Lake, now a restaurant. As I approached the pavilion, the aroma of food filled my nose, and I felt hungry. I saw several steamers filled with buns in front of the door. I watched tourists rush to buy them, and I bought one each of meat, vegetable, and radish buns. The meat buns had thick skin and thin filling, the vegetable buns were dry and hard to swallow, and the radish buns had no radish flavor at all. Alas, I'd been cheated! I abandoned them.

A hundred steps past Yingzhu Pavilion lies Lu Xun's tomb, a rectangular granite cemetery. The tomb consists of three levels: the first level has a path leading to a plaza; the second level features a lawn in the middle, where a statue of Lu Xun sits on a rattan chair, holding a scroll in his left hand and resting his arm on his right. The base of the statue is adorned with colorful auspicious clouds and inscribed with his birth and death years. Flanking the altar are two magnolias, planted on either side of the third level. A granite stele, inscribed with the gilded inscription "Mr. Lu Xun's Tomb," stands in the center. Cypress trees flank the stele, and beneath it lies the tomb. The passageway flanks a stone column corridor with wisteria and trumpet creepers. A lawn surrounds the tomb, while a mountain backdrop forms the rear. Camphor trees, interspersed with cherry blossoms and oleander, adorn the grounds.

I gazed at the garden for so long I didn't feel the cold, yet the sun had already set. As I reached the exit, I looked back into the garden. The wind was howling, everything was withering. The pines and cypresses were evergreen, the water was flowing. Winter had arrived, and could spring be far behind?

Shanghai's Luxun Park, formerly known as Hongkou Park, was a frequent hangout for me as a child. Having not been there for over 20 years, I made a special trip this time, simply to revisit those simple, happy days of my youth. Suddenly, I realized how much time has flown away.

By Travelers |

It’s amazing to come to Luxun Park in such a romantic cherry blossom season!

By A patch of sunshine |

The park is clean, relaxing, and uncrowded. The scenery is elegant, and the plant species are diverse. The density of white magnolias is particularly striking, a rare sight in Shanghai gardens. The white walls within the park are also a sight to behold, and photographers should definitely take a photo. A surprising addition is the vast expanse of rapeseed flowers within the park, a truly unique and vibrant sight. You don't have to travel to the suburbs to see such vibrant rapeseed blossoms, and they're especially beautiful in the afternoon. The Lu Xun Tomb and Memorial Hall within the park embody a profound cultural heritage. The park's location and transportation make it convenient for both traveling and dining.

By Heart Valley |

If you haven't been there, it's worth a visit. Directly accessible by subway.

The transportation is very convenient. Just take Line 8 and walk a short distance to Hongkou Football Stadium.

The interior is completely green.

There are also many uncles and aunts who are looking for umbrella dating for their children.

It is a park that is very Shanghainese.

There are also many restaurants and shops outside

Close to University of Foreign Languages

It's clean, with red flowers and green leaves, white walls and black eaves. The memorial hall inside is also worth a visit. Children can learn about Mr. Zhou's works through interactive touch-screen games. The former residence is outside the park and seems to be closed on Mondays or Thursdays. We were turned away at that time.

Luxun Park is not large in area, but it has everything it needs, including amusement facilities, artificial lakes and plants.

You can enjoy cherry blossoms in spring and maple leaves in autumn. It is located in the bustling area of Hongkou Football Stadium and Sichuan North Road. There are abundant supporting resources such as food, and the goods are genuine at reasonable prices. You don’t have to worry about the common tourist rip-offs in scenic spots.

One of Shanghai's most famous parks, probably because it houses the Luxun Cemetery and Memorial Hall. It's a very clean, well-landscaped park with plenty of children's play areas.

[Environment] There are many flowers, plants and trees in the park. It gives people a refreshing feeling when entering the door. It looks very comfortable. There are many benches for rest, which is very humane. There are many people playing chess, and many grandpas and grandmas playing saxophones. There are also many elderly symphony orchestras.

[Facilities] There are quite a lot of entertainment facilities in the park. There are many things for children to play with, including meteor hammers, which are super fun. But the tree next to it is too high, and I always feel like my shoes are going to be hooked by the branches.

[Surroundings] There are quite a lot of snacks, and next to it is the Hongkou Dragon Dream. In short, it feels pretty good!

At the end of Tianai Road, you'll see the sign for Luxun Park. The park is quite large, and the most worthwhile attraction is the Luxun Memorial Hall. Admission is free, and you can simply enter in order. Luxun Park was formerly known as Hongkou Park, but was later renamed Luxun Park. The memorial hall introduces Mr. Lu Xun's life and culture over the past decade or so. Because there are explanations, I listened attentively throughout the entire process, which left me with a deeper impression of Mr. Lu Xun.

There is a room inside, which is filled with thousands of books and texts about Mr. Lu Xun or other people's descriptions of Mr. Lu Xun. Mr. Lu Xun's life and his thoughts have influenced many generations.

I spent an afternoon sitting in Luxun Park in Qingdao and felt great. I thought the one in Shanghai would be good too. We set out from the youth hostel early in the morning and went to Luxun Park along Lunduo Road, Shanyin Road and Tianai Road. We read love poems along the way and enjoyed the fresh air after the rain. The flowers in the park were in full bloom and many grandparents were exercising. I didn’t know many people in the World Literary Masters Square, but this did not prevent me from liking it.

The free little park was surprisingly large, and the scenery in the southern street park was particularly beautiful. With each step, you'll discover a new scene, like a condensed version of the Suzhou Gardens: a stream, some greenery, the occasional red flower, and the cleansing after the rain. Even this lesser-known park has its own unique charm. I also stumbled upon Lu Xun's tomb in this park. I've also been to Lu Xun Parks in other cities, such as Qingdao, and initially thought the one in Shanghai was named after Lu Xun. However, I discovered that Mr. Lu Xun's tomb is located in an open area of the park.

Luxun Park is located near the Hongkou Football Stadium. I often pass by it while shopping at Dragon Dream and Sichuan North Road, but I've never been inside. I originally thought it was a park for the elderly, but I discovered that besides the monumental Lu Xun Tomb and the Luxun Memorial Hall, it also offers a unique and picturesque scenery. It was also the cherry blossom festival, and the cherry blossoms in full bloom, combined with the plum pavilion, gave it a slightly Japanese feel. There was plenty to see.

Admission to the park is free, but any exhibitions are subject to an additional fee. A visit lasts about 1-2 hours. Many people picnic on the lawn, and many older people play cards and chess, creating a lively atmosphere.

By Ann |

All the books on the wall are either Lu Xun's own works or other works describing Lu Xun.

Although it is just a public park, Lu Xun Park is very special because of the tomb of Mr. Lu Xun and the Lu Xun Memorial Hall.

The transportation here is very convenient, with buses available and the subway not too far away. There are shopping malls, commercial centers, and hotels nearby, which is quite convenient.

Mr. Lu Xun's tomb lies quietly in a corner of the park, which does not prevent citizens from playing, exercising, and square dancing here. However, if you are interested in Mr. Lu Xun, you can find many things related to Mr. Lu Xun in the Lu Xun Memorial Hall next to it, which can really benefit people a lot. It is also especially suitable for bringing children to play, because in this way they can combine the knowledge in the textbooks to have a deeper understanding of Mr. Lu Xun's spiritual world.

There are also many sand tables in the Lu Xun Memorial Hall, which display scenes from Mr. Lu Xun's articles. They are very vivid and serve as good teaching aids. Bringing junior high school students or elementary school students to see them can help them have a deeper understanding of the text.

There are also Tianai Road, Hongkou Football Stadium and other places around here, you can come and take a walk.

At the end of Tianai Road, you'll see the sign for Luxun Park. The park is vast, and the most noteworthy attraction is the Luxun Memorial Hall. Admission is free, and you can enter as you please. Luxun Park was formerly known as Hongkou Park, but was later renamed Luxun Park. The memorial hall showcases Mr. Lu Xun's life and culture over the past decade. The guided tours were so engaging that I listened attentively, leaving a deeper impression. There's also a room filled with thousands of books and texts about him, including those written by others. Lu Xun's life and work, and his thoughts have influenced generations. Regarding transportation: Take Metro Line 3 or 8 to Hongkou Football Stadium Station, then walk east along Sichuan North Road for 2 minutes to the south gate of Luxun Park. Alternatively, take buses 18, 21, 47, 52, 139, 167, 597, 854, 863, 939, or 991 and get off at Luxun Park Station. Transportation is very convenient. A visit to a park like this one offers a rich cultural atmosphere.

I have been to Lu Xun's former residence in Shaoxing before, but after visiting the Lu Xun Memorial Hall in Shanghai, I realized that all the works and everything from Lu Xun's glorious period were left to Shanghai. So it is worth a visit, and it is really quite insightful.

Because the hotel my friend recommended was in Hongkou Dragon Dream, I took the wrong exit when I first came out of the subway and happened to come out from the exit near Luxun Park.

The first impression is that the greenery is really good. The greenery is full of vitality and gives people a refreshing feeling in the hot summer.

There is no entrance fee to the park, including the Lu Xun Memorial Hall in the park. On weekdays, there are elderly people exercising here or in Wenhao Square where there are often many elderly people singing and people gather around to listen.

The entire park is close to Duolun Cultural Celebrity Street and Tianai Road. Across from the Hongkou Dragon Dream Shopping Mall, there are also many snacks around. It can be said that this park has an excellent location. The supporting facilities inside are also very good, with amusement parks and so on.

Usually, many parents bring their children here to play or visit the Lu Xun Memorial Hall.

It is a park with a strong cultural atmosphere, an activity area, a playground, boating, Lu Xun's tomb and memorial hall, the Zhu Qizhan Art Museum, and next to the Hongkou Football Stadium. Various senior citizen groups come to the park to exercise, dance and sing.

There are many locals in Luxun Park. When you stroll in the park, you can often see circles of middle-aged and elderly interest groups gathered under the shade of trees. It is similar to the City Park in Wuxi (but much larger than the City Park). There are people performing operas and singing, and it is very lively.

Luxun Park isn't particularly impressive, but you can see many elderly people playing with birds, playing chess, and chatting. It doesn't feel like a tourist attraction, but more like a place for locals to relax.

Luxun Park is surrounded by lush trees, covering the park, making it seem like a paradise. The exhaust gas and noise of the city cannot invade this sacred place.

Luxun Park is a beautiful leisure park with a Japanese style. Many elderly people sing, dance and exercise in the park, enjoying a happy and energetic old age.

Luxun Park is free; you just need to get a ticket. Perhaps because we were there early, there were no other people inside. Although I had planned to visit this place because it was near a tourist attraction I wanted to visit, once inside, I felt it was worth the trip.

We walked to Luxun Park, but I was in trouble again. The Luxun Memorial Hall stopped accepting tickets again. When I arrived, it was after 4:00 PM. The ticket sales stopped at 4:00 PM. But the park is huge and the scenery is beautiful.
