Oriental Land Park is located near the scenic Dianshan Lake. It is a large park in Shanghai that integrates development training, youth social practice, team activities and leisure tourism.
You can visit the National Defense Park, see a simulated aircraft carrier, tour the military weapons exhibition hall and naval submarines, participate in simulated shooting, ride an amphibious vehicle, and enjoy exciting 3D motion pictures.
Along the Ginkgo Avenue, Green Energy, Lakeside Avenue, Moon Bay, and Fisherman's Wharf, you can enjoy the beautiful and elegant scenery of the endless Dianshan Lake.
Families of three can also play the "Brave Road", explore the "Wisdom Maze", visit the "Fun Bridge World", and stroll along the world's first sculpture avenue with 168 wise masters.
There are more than 3,000 plum trees in the park. Looking down at Oriental Green Boat from the air, you can see a 200-meter-long red plum blossom belt, like smoke and clouds.

Located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, Oriental Land is the only large-scale park in Shanghai that integrates development training, youth social practice, team activities, and leisure tourism. It comprises eight zones: Wisdom Avenue, Brave Wisdom, National Defense Education, Survival Challenge, Science Exploration, Water Sports, Sports Training, and Life Practice.
In January 2016, the National Tourism Administration and the Ministry of Environmental Protection planned to designate Shanghai Oriental Land Tourist Area as a national ecotourism demonstration area.
We visited the park on May Day this year, but we found out that half of the park was closed because of the Strawberry Music Festival. We didn't go to the concert venue (the concert didn't start until the evening), and only walked along the park route. The security guards blocked the road and wouldn't let us through, so we didn't get to visit half of the park. The park charged full admission, which is obviously unreasonable and illegal. I suggest that everyone should not visit this park on May Day.
I've witnessed the rise and fall of this park. It was certainly nice when it was first built, but now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The park is poorly managed, and much of the equipment is in disrepair and nearly obsolete. Many areas where children can play are blocked off with signs stating they're temporarily closed for maintenance, yet despite the vast amount of equipment, there wasn't a single worker working. Worst of all, the two most popular attractions, the aircraft carrier and the Brave Road, were both blocked off for maintenance. Many people bought tickets specifically for these two places, only to be barred from entering. There were no warnings at the ticket office or the entrance—very unkind! Some of the rides near Dianshan Lake have been broken for years, and no one has repaired them, seemingly just waiting for them to die.
The scenic area is excellent and a favorite among military enthusiasts, especially the miniature aircraft carrier, the Oriental Green Boat. You can climb onto the deck and enter the cabin for a tour.
I wonder if the aircraft carrier's deck has been repaired yet? It was still under repair when I last visited in April, so unfortunately I couldn't go up there.
Actually, Oriental Land is big, and the advertising is good. The rides in the park are very low cost-effective and not interesting.
The place is very large and has a reception and organization department dedicated to corporate development and school spring and autumn tours.
It's another place that all the kids in Shanghai go to. They celebrate their 14th birthdays and 18th birthdays there.
I've played real-life CS here before. The venue is large and has nice greenery. It's just a bit far from the city.
Oriental Green Boat Hotel is good. I stayed there for a day for company training. I visited Oriental Green Boat on the way. The warship is pretty good.
You can go to the National Defense Park to see a simulated aircraft carrier, visit the military weapons exhibition hall and naval submarines, participate in simulated shooting, and ride an amphibious vehicle.
When you go there for military training, pay attention to your attitude, because I think some instructors are a bit self-righteous.
I went there to hold an event, ate in the barbecue area, flew kites, and watched the aircraft carrier from a distance. It was very nice.
Oriental Oasis is quite far from the city center. Subway Line 17 is currently under construction, and once completed, it will be directly accessible by subway. Currently, taking the bus is definitely inconvenient, so you'll have to drive. Parking is 20 yuan, and the parking lot is huge, but the walk to the ticket office is quite long. The package tickets online are much cheaper. I've been there several times, and the scenery is nice. The National Defense Zone attractions are also quite good. My kids were particularly curious about diving submarines for the first time, and they couldn't believe the PLA soldiers had such a small sleeping area. The amphibious vehicles were also fun. Outside the National Defense Zone, the children's rides are less impressive, starting at 20 yuan per ride, and those under 120 yuan need an adult to accompany them. The included rides are also average, making the value for money poor. Overall, it's a decent spot for a picnic. The area is spacious, with a large lawn where you can pitch a tent and fly a kite. Highly recommended.
The aircraft carrier inside is worth seeing, as are many retired aircraft and missiles. However, there is no need to go inside to see the submarine, as the space inside is very small and uncomfortable.
The biggest downside is that it's too expensive. Mineral water is 7 yuan, instant noodles are 16 yuan, and there aren't any other options. They don't sell rice. Bring your own food if you go.
The National Defense Park, the playground, the Brave Road, the kayaking, and other places were not visited. It is very large and one day is not enough to visit all of them. You can stay there, but it is said that the cost-effectiveness is not high. It is a good place for an outing.
Located in Qingpu District, Shanghai, this is the only large-scale park in Shanghai that integrates development training, youth social practice, team activities, and leisure tourism. Situated near the scenic shores of Dianshan Lake, it covers an area of 5,600 mu (approximately 1,600 acres). Oriental Land comprises eight zones: Wisdom Avenue, Brave Wisdom, National Defense Education, Survival Challenge, Science Exploration, Water Sports, Sports Training, and Life Practice. It's a great place for families, friends, and the whole family. The large grounds offer children opportunities to explore the Brave Road and rent boats for kayaking.
The trees are neatly arranged like soldiers, a disciplined nursery! The air is filled with uplifting songs. It feels like this isn't a place for tourists, but rather a place to cultivate discipline in children. The water near Dianshan Lake is relatively clear, allowing you to remove your shoes and wash your feet. The rocks are large. While there are many trees, there are few low-riding bikes suitable for girls.
You can't eat there. Remember, take bus No. 17 back one stop to Zhujiajiao Town!
It is often used as a spring and autumn tour and military training base for primary and secondary schools.
Can I say that I have been here 3 times just for the school’s spring outing?
Shanghai's Oriental Land is indeed beautiful. If you have time, you can go and have a look.
The place is huge, and the scenery is beautiful; it takes most of a day to explore. The aircraft carriers and submarines are highlights, especially the submarines, which are officially retired naval vessels and well worth a visit. The downside is that after buying an entrance ticket outside, you need to buy another one inside, and it's quite expensive. A three-person bike rental on the third floor costs 60 yuan per hour, a four-person bike is 100 yuan per hour, a go-kart is 50 yuan per lap, a sightseeing bus is 30 yuan per lap, a submarine tour is 30 yuan, and a horseback ride is 20 yuan... This really dampens the fun. Can't they have a single entrance fee for everything?
Played on 2014/09/22, group building, feeling good ~
I went there for military training when I was a student. The scenery is beautiful and it is very suitable for taking children out for a trip
Oriental Land is located in Qingpu District, on the shores of Dianshan Lake. This large country park is ideal for young people to enjoy cycling, games, and picnics. It also offers a variety of outdoor activities, such as the Brave Trail. For Shanghainese living in the concrete jungle, a change of scenery and fresh air is truly meaningful.
It's a nice place, full of nature, a green oxygen bar, and it's super big. It's suitable for tents and picnic mats. It's hard to rent bicycles. There are almost no bicycles for more than 4 people, so you can only walk. It's suitable for a large group to go together.
It's quite large and a great place to take the kids on weekends. It's about an hour's drive from Puxi. It's not cheap, though, and there's not much to do there. Flying kites is nice.
A very good outdoor development center. I had my high school military training there. It is still a good memory when I think about it now.
Oriental Oasis is quite fun, with many amusement projects, but it is quite far from the city.
I took my kids there, there is a small military base inside, which is educational
It's a paradise for children and the best place for outdoor activities. We went there for 2 days on Saturday and Sunday. It's special to stay there.
It is a relatively large educational base with aircraft carriers, airplanes, tanks, and cannons. There is no school in Shanghai that does not organize visits.
The largest youth base in Shanghai, I think it should be a place that all students in Shanghai have visited.
It is a place that all Shanghai children have visited, whether they are learning agriculture, learning industry or having fun in spring and autumn. It has a full range of recreational facilities and is suitable for parent-child travel.
Currently it is a training base for teenagers and the military. You can spend a whole day there. It will be even more popular after Line 17 opens.
Basically we went camping and barbecued, with a lot of children.
It is a large park integrating leisure and tourism. The most distinctive Wisdom Avenue is a 700-meter-long sculpture landscape road with sculptures of many famous Chinese and foreign scientists, thinkers, and educators placed on both sides of the road, attracting many students to visit.
It is a place more suitable for teenagers to play. The park is big but there is not much space.
It's very big and feels a bit like a golf course. It's a big lake and you can spend a whole day there.
I went there for military training in high school, and I still miss it. When will I be able to take action and ride a bike there?
Children with children can go and experience it.
The place is very big. When I was young, I often went there during the spring and autumn tours at school.
It's a big place and you can't walk around it. It's better to rent a bicycle in the park.
Many people born between 1990 and 1995 went to summer camp when they were young, hahahaha
I went there during the half-price discount period of the Shanghai Tourism Festival. I personally think it is suitable for family travel.
The venue is large and has a barbecue area, making it the best place for team activities. The scenery is average, and there are military models such as aircraft carriers, which are close to 1:1. Military fans can go there. The ticket price is 40 yuan per person, and internal consumption (transportation, barbecue, etc.) is not included.
It's a good place to relax. It's recommended to stay overnight. If you go sightseeing for a day, you will be tired and can't finish the shopping.
Oriental Green Boat, a youth outdoor activity base in Shanghai, is adjacent to the Shanghai Water Sports Training Base. It's an ideal location for youth development training, military training, and other activities. It boasts three hotels: the Green Boat Hotel on the national highway, the innermost Green Boat Resort, and the Green Boat Villas near the National Defense Park.
The charges are random, the prices of the projects are very expensive, and it’s not fun. I won’t go there again.
I went there during a spring outing in junior high school and was particularly impressed by the Brave Avenue. I was at an active age and found it particularly fun.
I went there before during spring outing, but now it is not very popular
A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city
It’s also nice to slowly forget the memories of military training and travel to relax. I recommend taking a trip.
A large outdoor playground in Qingpu District
It's a great place for elementary school students to hang out, and you can even barbecue there. It's a great place for family activities. Located in Qingpu, you can also visit nearby Zhujiajiao and Daguanyuan.
Good good good good good good good good good good good good good good

It is close to the scenic Dianshan Lake and covers an area of 5,600 mu, of which 2,000 mu is water area.
A group of friends organized an activity here, mainly having a barbecue. The place is quite large, the facilities are quite new, and there are not many people. It's good. We didn't play many other activities, but the lawn is well maintained and full of green. It's very comfortable to just take a walk.
This is a great place for children to receive an education!
Oriental Oasis is very large and has many challenging activities. It is recommended to rent a bicycle to visit the park, otherwise you will not be able to finish it.
Located near Dianshan Lake, the environment is quite good. With a large green area, it's a great place to visit. Companies can hold semi-annual meetings and outdoor training here, and students can have military training here. There are also villas available for accommodation.
It's a huge park, you can go there and have fun. There are also many attractions around it.

Basic Information
Children love the National Defense Park. The aircraft carrier and amphibious vehicles are worth visiting.
It’s my first time here, and I had a lot of fun because there were so many people.
A friend suddenly suggested to come here to play on the weekend, so we came
I personally think it's quite fun there, with vast expanses of green space and fresh air. Besides bicycles, a path for the brave, a fun bridge, and an aircraft carrier tour, I recommend casual clothing, especially sneakers. You can relax and unwind there.

The primary and secondary schools have spring outings and military training there, and you can go there for family outings.
It's a pretty good place. I came here to do quality development when I was a student.
It’s a very fun place, I’ll go there again next time.
Oriental Green Boat, located in Qingpu District, west of Shanghai, near Dianshan Lake, is Shanghai's only large-scale park integrating development training, youth social practice, team activities, and leisure tourism. Access is somewhat inconvenient, requiring a subway ride followed by a bus transfer, so a self-driving tour is recommended. Tickets to Oriental Green Boat are 50 yuan per person, 25 yuan for students, and 45 yuan for seniors aged 60-70 with valid ID. Oriental Green Boat is spacious and suitable for all ages, including families. It comprises eight zones: Knowledge Avenue, Brave Wisdom, National Defense Education, Survival Challenge, Science Exploration, Water Sports, Sports Training, and Life Practice. The park is vast, so renting a bicycle is recommended. Inside, you'll find a massive aircraft carrier—actually a full-scale model—divide into several levels, housing soldiers, tanks, shooting ranges, and firearms displays. The top floor showcases aircraft, offering a truly immersive experience. Not to mention, there's a real nuclear submarine docked outside the aircraft carrier!
I think it's just a park. There's nothing fun there. It's nice to take a walk.
Hmm... How should I put it, the location is too remote, it's not suitable to go there if you come to Shanghai for sightseeing.
