Shanghai Disneyland

We went on April 30th and arrived at around 6 o'clock. There were so many people queuing up. There is really no such thing as peak or off-season. We ran around after getting off the bus, and when we got to the queue, we just waited. We finally got into the park, got the paper ticket, and used the Disney app to scan the QR code on the ticket to get only one fast pass. For other items, we had to queue up. There were people everywhere, and it took about two or three hours to queue. It was tiring enough to queue up. Although the fireworks show was wonderful and fulfilled a friend's childhood dream, I really don't want to go there a second time. You can bring in a small amount of unopened water and food into the scenic area, but the food inside is generally very small. A hot dog is 40, ice cream is 40, and noodles and a cup of Sprite are a set meal, about 90. The small amount was not enough to fill me up. I didn't recover from the rest of the trip after leaving Disney, so if you choose to go, it's best to put it on the later itinerary.

We went on May 2nd. We paid a premium for a tour guide, entered the park over an hour early, and snagged several rides. It was a packed day, and once the official entrance time arrived, the guide wasn't available. We downloaded the official app to keep track of the queues and played until 8:30 pm to watch the fireworks. We tried about ten rides in total, and the kids were satisfied, but the adults were exhausted. Overall, it wasn't as cost-effective as Hong Kong Disneyland, but there were many rides that weren't available in Hong Kong. The lighting effects were great and realistic, especially Soar Over the Horizon and Battle for Caribbean Treasures. PhotoPass was also very useful.

I was lucky enough to get a free ticket to be a test officer, my second visit to Disneyland. The ticket was issued quickly, and I could exchange it for admission directly with my ID card. It was very convenient! Disneyland is really a place you can visit many times. The whole world is urging you to grow up, but only here can you be unbridled and childish.

Recommended attractions: TRON Lightcycle Run Power Run, Dwarfs Mine Train, Soar Over the Horizon, Roaring Mountain Rafting, and Captain Jack Sparrow's Sunken Treasure. Remember to get up early! The first thing to do upon entering the park is to scan your ticket and grab a FP!

For those who are not so obsessed with playing the attractions, you can also choose to take photos and watch the performances in the park. After all, the most important thing about Disney is to feel the atmosphere.

Thanks to China-TravelNote, I won a free trip to Disneyland. Unfortunately, my reservation fell on the Disney Run, which was incredibly crowded. Because of the run, the park's original opening time of 8:30 a.m. was postponed to 10 a.m., so I had to queue for security at the gate at 9 a.m. After getting my ticket with my ID, I linked the QR code on the back of my ticket using the app and grabbed a FastPass. I was able to snag two popular rides, Horizon Loop and Lightcycle Max. Since I'm a fast runner, I traveled light and had some food with me. I queued non-stop throughout the park, experiencing 11 rides in total. I also did Horizon Loop and Treasure Hunter twice, and finally reached the Gardens of Imagination after running out of energy at 7 a.m., waiting for the 8:30 a.m. fireworks show. The park's public facilities are convenient, and the staff are patient. The only downside is that waiting in line can be a disaster, so I definitely need to find time to grab a FastPass.

If you ask me if I want to go to Disneyland again, I will answer with a resounding yes hundreds of times: Of course!!!



As a dreamland for girls, Disneyland has all the elements to appeal to everyone: sweet princesses and handsome princes from major IPs, adorable animals, and attractions that integrate storylines. Boys, too, will find it captivating, with Marvel heroes waiting for you to play at the training camp.



The experience of entering Disneyland is much better now than when it first opened. We went on Saturday and the queue was very short, the longest wait was only 20 minutes, and we didn’t have an Express Pass.



There was no queue at the restaurant, you just paid and ate. It was a bit expensive but I understood the layout of the park. The coconut-like thing in the drink was in the shape of Mickey Mouse, which was very thoughtful.



I feel like one day is not enough to play. We spent the whole afternoon just watching the performances, and there are many projects that we haven’t tried yet. I look forward to playing enough next time.

Disneyland is always packed with people 365 days a year, and I finally got to check in. I spent a day playing as a third wheel at Disneyland, accompanying a young couple. Before you go, you must decide which rides you want to try. For popular rides, you must get an express pass upon entry, otherwise you'll have to queue. My personal recommendations are the mine car, the speedometer, the raft, and Soar Over the Horizon.

The whole world is urging you to grow up, only Disney tells us to slow down, slow down

There were very few people rushing to the park after get off work on Wednesday at 5 o'clock. I booked the tickets on Fengfeng a day in advance and it was very convenient to just swipe the ID card. However, there were no half-day tickets or express tickets.

There are not many exciting and gentle activities to play. You have to queue for more than 40 minutes, which is quite long. There are no people at Pirates of the Caribbean. The effect is very good and does not require much courage. It is suitable for men, women, young and old.

There are a lot of chicken drumsticks for sale, 40 for a huge toy. Almost everyone buys it. It's so cute and makes girls' hearts burst. It's a pity that balloons can't be taken on the subway or high-speed train.

The evening light and fireworks show started at 20:30 and lasted for 20 minutes. I found a not-so-good spot half an hour in advance and sat quietly. Many people gathered in front of the castle. The fireworks were not as exciting as I had imagined, but it was super healing.

Everyone dreams of a fairytale, and Disneyland perfectly embodies my fairytale dreams and childhood memories. I was lucky enough to participate in China-TravelNote's "Fengwan Experience Officer" event and win a one-day ticket to Shanghai Disneyland. I was so excited!!! Disneyland is such a great place for photos. As soon as we entered, we saw the huge castle. After quickly checking in on the must-see attractions, we headed to the line for the rides! Since we arrived at Disneyland at 9:30, we couldn't get a spot. I recommend arriving early or purchasing a premium pass to save time. We tried classic Disney rides: Soar Over the Horizon, Pirates of the Caribbean, Roaring Mountain, TRON Lightcycle Power Run, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Luckily, after our rides, it was 8:15 PM, so we quickly rushed to the square to watch the fireworks. I highly recommend the pirate ship ride; it's so unique and visually stunning. The TRON Lightcycle Power Run is incredibly unique, with its high speeds and the feeling of traveling through time and space. It's one of the more thrilling rides I think. The line for Soaring Over the Horizon was the longest. The 5D effect was fantastic, giving me an immersive feeling, as if I were in a different country at a different latitude and longitude. Unfortunately, time was a bit tight this time, so I didn't get many photos of people. (I recommend getting a two-day ticket.) All I can say is: Disney! See you next time!

I chose to go on a weekday, but it was much more crowded than I expected, with many people lining up before the park opened. Now you can pay extra to buy an early bird ticket and enter an hour earlier than the normal opening.

It was late when I got in, and the most popular Over the Horizon had already been distributed, so I quickly grabbed the equally popular Dwarf Mine Cart. The next time you can claim FP is shown on the app, so remember to claim it when it's time.

The popular projects are well arranged, just like me, I can watch them all. Although it was raining that day, the float parade was still performed at 15:30 in the afternoon. I was happy.

If you have a day ticket, you can go to the town through the side door to eat and then enter the park. If you think the food inside is too expensive. You can get a 10% discount in the big era with your ticket, but it will be crowded at meal times. Finding a seat depends on your eyes and hands.

This was my second time at Shanghai Disneyland, and I was still as excited as a kid! I finally got to see the character parade. As a self-proclaimed extreme sports enthusiast, I only did the Heritage Adventure Camp, Lightcycle Max, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Soar! I waited in line for three hours to get to Soar. If you have the money, I'd buy a Premium Pass.

A long time ago, I heard the saying, "The whole world is urging you to grow up, only Disney lets you slow down." I think anyone who has been to Disneyland can understand its meaning. My second visit to Disneyland was once again captivating, and I was moved by its joy and fairy tales. I can only sigh that Disneyland is probably a fairytale world where you can never get enough of it, and it always gives you a new experience.

When you come to Disneyland, you can download the "Shanghai Disney Resort" APP in your mobile app in advance, register an account and log in. You can buy tickets and book hotels, check the park's operating hours, the performance times of various shows, and the waiting time for projects, etc. But the most important thing is Disney's Fast Pass, which is what we often call the FP card. The last time I went there, I queued up at the collection point in the park to collect the FP. Now I collect it on the APP. This is very important and can save a lot of waiting time. First, log in to the account registered before the APP. After entering the park and collecting the ticket, the APP Scan the QR code to bind your ticket, and you can collect FP at the designated time. Generally, you can only collect it twice. There is a 2-hour interval between the first reservation and the next one, so don't waste the opportunity. Among the 7 projects that can be reserved, it is recommended to choose from "Soaring Over the Horizon", "Roaring Mountain Rafting" and "TRON Lightcycle Power Run", especially Soaring Over the Horizon and Roaring Mountain Rafting. It is strongly recommended to choose these two. When entering the park, you can directly look at the map of the APP to go to Pirates of the Caribbean, TRON Lightcycle Power Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. After playing these three, plus the 2 FPs reserved, you can experience the others slowly, hahaha

In addition to the projects, there are also performances that you can't miss. They allow you to take a break when you are tired. The performance schedule is also listed in the APP, and you can choose according to your preferences. Just one thing, "Mickey's Fairy Tale Express", which is what we often call the float parade, must not be missed. The time of the day will also be shown in the APP. The float parade is a major attraction of Disney. You can wait half an hour in advance on the street next to Dumbo in front of the castle. You will also have the opportunity to interact with Disney friends in the front row~

Finally, there is the fireworks show at 20:30 in the evening. It is recommended to wait at least 2 hours in advance. The earlier the better. If you go late, you will just feel like you are in a crowd. Therefore, you must take good sun protection measures in summer so that you can wait for the gorgeous fireworks in front of the castle under the night sky with confidence.

You must choose a good day to go to Shanghai Disneyland. I went on Friday and it was super crowded.

I entered the park at 9 o'clock and immediately linked my ticket. There were no fast passes left... [crying] I could only queue up honestly.



My recommendations are: Over the Horizon - Pirates of the Caribbean - Mine Train. The Lightcycle Ride was so thrilling... I felt weak after coming off...



The rest is just taking pictures and strolling around. Of course, the last fireworks show at 8:30 is not to be missed, and you must go early to grab a good seat. Otherwise, you can't see anything [covering face]

Tuesdays are quite crowded at Disneyland, so many of the major attractions were long in line, so we didn't get a ticket, like the exciting Soar Over the Horizon. But it didn't matter; every moment in the park was worth it. We took photos with the adorable characters and tried many other attractions (especially the water-related Roaring Thunder Mountain rafting, Crystal Clear Voyage, and Shipwreck Cove Treasure Hunt in one morning).

Every Disney is worth a visit. When you get out of the subway, you really have to run, squeeze, and wait. If you overtake one person, you are one step ahead. Shanghai Disneyland is undoubtedly the largest in Asia. Having visited three Asian Disneys, I have full confidence in Disney's brand and operational capabilities. Objectively speaking, the rides are better than those in Tokyo and Hong Kong, but for the level of care and attention, no other can match Tokyo Disneyland. Among international amusement parks, Shanghai Disneyland holds the top spot.

A fairy tale world for princesses

You can take photos everywhere in the park, including the pink castle, various cartoon character dolls, cartoon landmarks, colorful Mickey balloons, etc.

The staff here are very nice. If you want to play a project, you should plan it in advance. If you just want to play casually, you can take pictures while playing, which is unique.

We visited in September 2017. We drove to the Disney parking lot early in the morning. Parking cost 100 yuan per day, and if we left in the afternoon, we'd pay 50 yuan. There was a line at the entrance, but since we arrived early, the line wasn't long. After 7:00 PM, the first subway train arrived, and a large crowd of tourists arrived, and the line quickly lengthened. We were among the first group to enter and tried a few of the major attractions. We downloaded the official Disney app and were able to reserve two rides, skipping the lines and entering immediately. The app has a daily limit on the number of people who can reserve rides, so if the number is full, no more rides will be accepted. By noon, most rides were fully booked, so we had to wait in line for some of the afternoon rides. After we finished all the rides and watched the parade, it was usually around 7-8 PM. We took a break, watched the fireworks show from Disney Castle, and drove home.

I won't go into too much detail about Disneyland guides; there are tons of them on China-TravelNote, but I still recommend checking them out; they're quite helpful. I downloaded the official Disney app the day before and registered. Although the guide said to get in line around 6:00 PM, when we arrived at the gate before 7:00 PM, everyone was running. The line at the gate was already a massive crowd.

Tips: Umbrella, fan, sunscreen, plastic water bottle, must-haves!

We scanned our ID to get our tickets, linked the app, and started scrambling for Express Passes. We were incredibly lucky and snagged a 12:00 PM ride for Soaring Horizon. Then we headed straight to Pirates of the Caribbean, where we only had to wait in line for ten minutes. I've seen people online saying Soaring Horizon is the best, but I personally think the visuals and experience are superior to Pirates of the Caribbean! Barely any comparison!

Oh, and a reminder: if you've bought a PhotoPass, remember not to go inside right after grabbing your FP. There's a "Wonderful Memory Room" on the right hand side of the entrance where you can pick up your PhotoPass card and link it to your app (you'll need to download the PhotoPass app separately). Then you're good to go!

The advantage of buying a PhotoPass is that you can't take photos yourself, but it can! When you go out, just scan your card and the photos will be on your phone!

We entered the park a little after 7:00 AM and tried Pirates of the Caribbean, Dwarfs Mine Train, Soar Over the Horizon, Peter Pan, and Crystal Voyage. The final ride, TRON Lightcycle Power Run, deserves special mention because it always had the longest line. We stood below for a while, watching, but we didn't dare to go up. Maybe it's because we're older and less courageous. We agreed to find a spot to rest. Around 6:00 AM, we found a great spot to watch the final fireworks and waited until they were over. I won't take any photos; they're impossible to capture without good equipment. Just search online for them, hahaha!

Shanghai Disneyland truly offers endless possibilities, allowing you to create memories worth cherishing for a lifetime. Remember to go early. I arrived at the gate around 4:00 AM, and by 5:00 AM, many people were already arriving. It was off-season, so you definitely couldn't get a FastPass on the first subway. I grabbed two FastPasses. If you go early, you don't need to grab one for Soaring Horizon. Once you enter the park, run to the right and remember to use your phone to grab FastPasses for other rides while you run. I got a TRON Lightcycle Power Run FP ticket from 8.05 to 9.05. I only waited in one-fifth of the queue for Horizon Soar, and then went to play TRON. After the TRON Power Run FP was used up, I immediately grabbed the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train FP, and grabbed the FP at around 3:00 in the afternoon. You must play Pirates of the Caribbean, it feels like you are in the story. I waited in line for 40 minutes. Thunder Mountain rafting is also very good. I waited in line for more than an hour. I played five major projects in one day, which was worth it. I feel that China's Disneyland is the most fun and distinctive. The parade at noon makes people feel very happy. The staff there are good-looking and polite. The light and fireworks show in the evening is the finale of the day. It is beautiful. Disney has left me with good memories. The meals there are about 90 yuan per serving, more than 40 yuan for children, and about 60 yuan for pasta, which I think is acceptable. The drinks at Disney are very delicious and are served with meals.

Shanghai Disneyland... regardless of whether it is sunny or rainy, regardless of whether it is weekdays, weekends or holidays, tens of thousands of people visit the park every day, and it is packed every day!

When I wanted to go, it was already time for work, so there would be fewer people there, what the hell!

Caribbean Treasure Bay, Speed Skating, and Soaring Over the Horizon are three must-dos! It is recommended to queue up for Soaring Over the Horizon first, because the queue for this project is more than an hour from beginning to end.

There are similar projects elsewhere. Don’t waste your time queuing for these projects. You can go after 8:30 when there are fewer queues and you can finish them quickly.

I went there on New Year's Eve, staying at a hotel two subway stops away. When the first subway arrived, it was already packed. I got my ticket a little after 8:00 PM, linked it to the app, and secured my first spot on Soar Over the Horizon (12:00-1:00 PM). After entering the park, I found myself in Tomorrowland. There was almost no line, and I got to ride the thrilling Lightcycle Max, sitting in the front row. The sound effects and lights were incredibly thrilling, and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I tried it again in the afternoon, seeing it wasn't crowded, and was still in the front row. It was super exciting! Then I went to Buzz Lightyear. The line was about 20 minutes, which is probably suitable for kids. I then went to the Dwarfs Mine Train, waiting in line for about 40 minutes, but it wasn't anything special. I was supposed to see a pirate show, but I accidentally ended up in line for Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for the Sunken Treasure. I waited in line for 30 minutes and got a front-row seat. It was immersive and breathtaking, my favorite attraction. Later that afternoon, I waited in line for another 30 minutes, still in the front row, and it was just as thrilling. I could have gotten another FP ticket at 10 PM, but I forgot. When I checked around 11 PM, they were sold out. It looked like the only one left was Buzz Lightyear's. I didn't think it was interesting, so I passed on it. At noon, we used the FP to ride Soar Over the Horizon. Each scene had a corresponding smell, like the earth and the ocean. My husband loved it. We had lunch in the park and watched the Caribbean show that afternoon. We waited in line for Peter Pan because of an equipment malfunction. This was the longest line of any ride we tried, nearly an hour. I think it's suitable for kids. The rest of the rides were the float parade, a tour of the park, and the evening light show. Since it was New Year's Eve, there were also fireworks. The park closed at 6:30 PM, and we had enjoyed everything we wanted to do. The only thing we didn't get to take pictures with the princesses or the other little cuties. But we still chose to enjoy the rides instead. I'll wait until my kids bring theirs for pictures later, haha 😄

The design is nice and unique, but it just doesn't feel worth it. The experience is terrible! It cost 728 yuan for one person, one adult, and one child to go in and play one ride. The line took 105 minutes, and once inside, you have to keep paying. A 120ml bottle of drink costs 35 yuan, a hot dog is 40 yuan, and other gifts are even more ridiculously expensive. The total cost of 1,500 yuan is just to stroll around! If you add 180 yuan per person to each ride, you can skip the line! Why buy a ticket? I was also very upset when my bag was searched at the door. It was a complete disrespect. I'd rather not go with such an experience. I'll call when the line for the ride I want is less than half an hour!

Metro Line 11 provides direct access to Disneyland, making it incredibly convenient. The final stop, Disney Station, itself boasts a distinctly Disney theme. In the arrival hall, you'll be greeted by the iconic Chinese-style paper-cut figures of Mickey and Minnie, attracting countless visitors. Driving into the resort is easy: from the west entrance (from the elevated highway), from the east entrance (from Sunshine Avenue), or from the south entrance (from the Avenue of Stars). Parking is 10 yuan per hour, with a reported cap of 100 yuan, so taking the subway is recommended. Saving money is essential, and you can use it for food and entertainment. For those traveling from Shanghai by plane to Shanghai Disneyland and staying at a nearby hotel, another convenient option is to take the airport shuttle bus. The Shanghai Municipal Government has even created the new Airport Line 1B (Business Express) specifically for Disneyland, offering direct access from Pudong and Hongqiao Airports to Disneyland, welcoming visitors from all corners of the world. Disneyland is huge, divided into: Adventure Isle, Fantasyland, Gardens of Imagination, Tomorrowland, Treasure Cove, and Mickey Avenue. So, to fully enjoy the park, you'll need to get up early and stay up late, or buy a two-day ticket for the ultimate experience! Remember to pick up a park brochure and show programs before your visit.

Absolutely recommend! If you're going to Disneyland the next day, be sure to stay at the nearby East Hotel the night before. It's affordable and offers free shuttle service. Downloading the official Disney app in advance is incredibly helpful. You can see how many hours you'll need to wait for each attraction, and most importantly, you can grab Fast Passes.

It was cold and rainy when we went to Disneyland. But I still recommend visiting Disneyland in the winter because there are almost no lines. The wait times for various attractions are only five minutes.

A five-minute wait! I don't think any major theme park has this kind of luxury. Everyone has a Premium Pass when visiting Shanghai Disneyland in the winter!

However, I still recommend downloading the Shanghai Disneyland app and grouping your tickets with your companions into a group so you can easily grab fast passes. This will save you time and allow you to enjoy more attractions that require queuing. (You know, some attractions always have a lot of people.)

In addition, the mobile app will also display a map and project waiting time, so that you can plan your trip more conveniently.

If you ask me, visiting Shanghai Disneyland in January is as easy as you want. From opening time at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can basically explore the entire park. (There are also some performances in the Disneyland park, so be sure to check the schedule and don't miss them.)

In fact, Disneyland is very inclusive of visitors of all ages, and most of the roller coaster projects are non-dangerous, so that families who enter the park can play together.

Because I received a free birthday voucher for June, my roommate and I headed to Shanghai. Disneyland is perfect for someone like me who doesn't like thrills. The opening hours vary from day to day and can be checked on the Disney Resort app. It is essential to queue up in advance.

There are two main entrance gates to the park. The first gate is for security, where every bag will be opened and inspected. After passing security, the second gate is for ticket inspection. You must present the ID card used to purchase your ticket. In winter, it's recommended to bring a thermos with hot water. Drinking water is available next to each restroom in the park, but it's cold.

Every time you obtain FP, the system will prompt the time for the next FP grab. Set the alarm and be ready to grab it at any time.

To avoid the long lines at certain attractions, you can use the Shanghai Disney Resort official app to obtain Disney FastPasses, free of charge. Simply enter the FastPass gate at the time specified on the app and enjoy the attractions without waiting in line. Disney's streets and castle buildings are imbued with a fairytale atmosphere, and the dazzling lights at night add to the festive atmosphere, making it even more magnificent.

The food at Disney is not very cost-effective, and expensiveness is its characteristic.

But the internet-famous roasted turkey legs are definitely worth a try. We had lunch in the park, which was also quite good and filled us up. If you use your ticket and exit through the side door, you can eat at the Food Republic in Disneytown, which is much cheaper than in the park.

Scan the QR code you used to purchase your ticket and enter the park, which is very convenient (bags will be checked at the security checkpoint). The first thing you see upon entering the park is the iconic Disney clock. Walking past it leads you to Mickey Avenue. The castle, which gradually appeared before my eyes, was truly stunning and beautiful. To take photos with Disney characters, you can purchase Disney's PhotoPass One-Day Pass. PhotoPass attendants will be stationed at designated locations to take photos of each visitor, and the photos will be linked to your ticket. If you don't purchase a One-Day Pass, you can still download your photos at any time, but the price is a bit high. With a One-Day Pass, you can download your photos anytime, anywhere for 60 days. After visiting Tomorrowland, my Dream Passport was fully stamped. Although I didn't get as enthusiastic about any particular ride as some did, looking at my fully stamped Dream Passport made me feel like my day at Disneyland was quite fulfilling and enjoyable. With my Dream Passport in hand, I headed to Sweetheart's Candy House near Mickey Avenue for my final, ultimate stamp, which also included a small souvenir.

As the sun sets and the sky gradually darkens, the neon lights in Disneyland also light up colorfully, making Disneyland look even more dreamy.

This is the fourth Disneyland I've visited. Every time I walk through it, I'm swept away by the fairytale world. I don't know why, but I just feel so happy. Disney's service is still the best. I went there on my birthday, and when I asked for a pin at the visitor center, someone I met wished me a happy birthday. It was so thoughtful. It was just really crowded, and the food was a bit pricey.

The driver dropped me off near Disneyland and told me to let him know in advance when the evening fireworks would end. He told me to take a bus to a certain stop and wait for him there to avoid the crowds. That was a pretty cool touch, and it was a nice free experience, haha. I went on a Tuesday, but I couldn't ignore its allure. During peak season, I estimated it would take half an hour to an hour to get in. (I bought my tickets online the night before, and they let me in with my ID verification, which was very convenient. I recommend buying them a few days in advance; some tickets include both the entrance fee and a meal, as the food is quite expensive.) Inside, the Disney Castle is in the center. I figured I could get there by circling it, so I wandered around on my own. It was off-season, after all, and wait times for attractions depended on popularity, generally 10 minutes to an hour. I was particularly happy to see a Jack Sparrow imitator ~ A small episode, I was looking at the pirate ship at the time, and suddenly he came from behind and greeted me. I looked at him in shock, and then I realized it and ran up to queue up for a photo. I was so excited that I kept communicating with him. The staff took more than a dozen photos for me (I heard later that he only comes out during certain time periods, so I think my luck is also awesome).

Disneyland has come to an end. Overall, it was disappointing. Tickets are expensive, there's a lot of gimmicks and tricks, many facilities are unfriendly, and the staff's appearance, makeup, and attitude are unprofessional. The entertainment performances were especially poor and uninspiring. Some songs were awkwardly translated into Chinese! The fireworks were a real bummer! However, the parade was great, and the pirates were fantastic, so it was worth the price of admission!

Weekends are a good compromise between a lack of free time on weekdays and the sheer number of crowds on holidays. Two days is just the right amount of time to cover most of the attractions you want to visit.

I love seeing colorful balloons everywhere, and I also dress myself in colorful clothes.

Wear Mickey ears, and there will be no embarrassment of wearing the same clothes and wearing the same ears. Wearing the same ears, we are friends.

Please go to the streets where the floats are parading, sway with everyone else, and transform into a baby. Happiness is that simple.

You can spend a long time browsing the various souvenir shops. Usually, I am an adult who has to think carefully about everything I do, but here, I just want to be a honey girl who hugs every toy.

Bright colors, cheerful music, if an amusement park could only look like one thing, it would definitely be Toy Story Land (even the restrooms are beautiful!) (Although I don’t like any of the attractions)

When I was waiting in line and feeling very bored, Mickey came to "cut in line" and interacted with us. My impatience for waiting in line was swept away. What is the magic of Disney?

There's also delicious and adorable food: the pig at Barbossa's Grill lives up to its reputation, and the squid rice is delicious, but the most endearing thing is the Mickey Mouse eggs at Pinocchio's Country Kitchen. How are they made? It must be a fairy tale world.

For both children and adults, Disneyland sells dreams. During the Frozen show, the children were completely engrossed, leaving their seats and jumping around under the stage. Instead of trying to keep them in line, the staff pulled them together in a circle, dancing. I was suddenly deeply moved. This is the world of fairy tales, right?

You can’t bring in food from outside into Disneyland, but I stuffed bread and other things into my sleeves and brought them in safely.

After entering the door, there are people queuing up on both sides to take pictures. Many people come there specifically to wear or bring peripherals. If you bring other people's peripherals to take pictures with cartoon characters, they will be angry.

There are staff members who specialize in taking photos with cameras to help you take photos, but it is best to take a few more photos with your own mobile phone, because you have to pay for the photos taken by the staff for you.

Then we entered the world of Marvel. I am not a Marvel fan. I only know Iron Man and Spider-Man and Captain America. There are some heroes whose names I can’t even remember, but they are really cool.

I did a lot of research online, looking at numerous guides on whether to walk clockwise or counterclockwise after entering the park. After summarizing the options, I decided to go counterclockwise. But since it was off-season, the crowds were just right! So, just check the app and go where the least crowded was! Seriously! Don't stick to a fixed direction just to save walking! The park isn't that big, and being here is fun in itself, so trust me, run!!!

Preparation for admission

1. Remember to bring your ID card!!!

Especially on the first day, you can’t get your ticket without your ID! ! ! Also, if you have a two-day ticket like us, make sure you keep the ticket after the first day! ! ! You’ll need it the next day! ! ! !

2. It is best to bring a power bank.

I bought a phone case-style charger online. It's a little thick, but it has no flaws. I usually use it as a phone case, and when my phone runs out of power, I use it as a power bank. It's really convenient!

3. Prepare change and store it in your bag.

Try not to bring large bags when you're at Disneyland, friends. It'll be hard to move around. It's okay if you don't have any change; the Tron Lightcycle Power Run staff will come with a cart to help you load your bag, and you can also leave your bag there. It's up to you whether you have change or not.

4. Buy a headband in Disneytown.

For girls, a headband is a must-have at Disneyland! It's a must-have for photos! You can actually buy it online beforehand; it's beautiful and affordable. You absolutely have to try it out; you'll be wearing it all day, so it's crucial to find one that's snug and comfortable. For those who are only going for a day, buy your headband the afternoon or evening before and stroll through the Disneyland town to pick up some souvenirs. For a two-day trip like ours, we bought our headbands and immediately entered the park. Since the Disneyland town closes an hour later than the park, you can enjoy some more time exploring afterward. Don't waste your time!!!

5. Check the app the day before to find out the next day’s opening hours, available activities, etc.

This is truly crucial. Download the Shanghai Disney app a few days in advance to check the park's opening and closing times. Then, use it as your primary app while you're there, as it displays important information like wait times for each attraction and showtimes. Once you're in the park, quickly link all your companions' tickets using your phone. This way, you can be the sole responsible person for securing tickets.

I went on December 9th and bought a two-day ticket for 1560 for two people, thinking it would be the cheapest. However, my colleague went on September 4th and also got a two-day ticket for only 1408, and the weather was much warmer than mine. 😔 It happened to snow and get colder in Shanghai over the past two days, freezing my hands and feet. But that couldn't hide the warmth of Disneyland! Personally, I felt there were far fewer tourists. I stood in the front row for the parade both days, which was amazing. I never get tired of seeing it every day. Every character was so lively, dancing and interacting with you. They even posed for photos when you saw them. How sweet! Every staff member was also so welcoming, standing outside in the middle of winter to wave and greet you. They're so dedicated and so respectful! We did all the must-do attractions at least twice, and some three times over the two days. It was so awesome! We queued, but it only took a few minutes to take photos. The longest wait was for photos with Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Daisy. We waited about 40 minutes each. We had to wait just for them, and it was worth the wait. Overall, the whole experience was fantastic! I still can't say enough!

There are multiple security checkpoints on both sides of the gate, but you have to queue up at the gate before you can disperse. When queuing, I found that many people were not first-time visitors, and they all looked very delicate and cute!

The ticket office is located after security. People often say that Disney doesn't allow food, and that's actually the case. However, security is quite accommodating, so as long as you're not overly generous, you can bring snacks, bread, etc. (If there are a lot of people, the food separation won't be obvious.)

We walked counterclockwise. Mickey Avenue faces Neuschwanstein Castle, and the first thing you enter on the left is Treasure Bay.

There is a parking lot at the entrance of each amusement project, which is full of children's strollers.

There are shops, snack stalls and restaurants everywhere in the park, but the prices are very reasonable... We only bought Mickey ice cream, which cost 40 yuan each.

Staff members would occasionally answer questionnaires and give out "bookmarks" after completing them. Last time at Hong Kong Disneyland, they mostly gave out laser cards and stickers. The ones at Shanghai Disneyland were just average.

If the queue is short, you cannot use the express card in advance.

There are many drinking water points in the park, and you can drink water directly even if you don’t bring a cup or bottle. The water provided here is at room temperature!

At 8:30 PM, the fireworks display, accompanied by scenes from classic Disney animations, began. Because I missed the best time to stand on the Soaring Over the Horizon ride, I was seated towards the back. The laser animations on the castle were difficult to see, so I recommend arriving early to secure a front-row seat.

The ambition to explore every attraction in a day is truly not a casual statement. The lines for each experience alone are incredibly time-consuming, ranging from 30 minutes to 105 minutes. First-time visitors to Shanghai Disneyland are often bewildered upon entering the park, searching for the park guide. And they haven't even remembered to link their tickets to the app to grab FastPasses. I'm exhausted and haven't even explored a few attractions. I admire those who manage to complete the entire park in a day.

The most popular ride of the day, Soar Over the Horizon, will be sold out instantly as soon as the Fast Pass is updated, so you basically have to queue up to play this project;

There are more people on the carousel at night than during the day. Without a fast pass, you can only queue up. Although it is fast, it still takes about an hour.

Tron Lightcycle Power Run is the most exciting roller coaster. It is easy to get a fast pass, but its difficulty is second only to Soaring Horizon.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Rescue is the easiest ride to queue up for among the Fast Passes. If you want to experience the feeling of Fast Pass, this is the first choice.

The fast pass requires the ticket to be bound to the APP.

After entering the park, we followed our guide and headed straight left, exploring the attractions from left to right. A light rain intermittently occurred during the morning, but it didn't dampen the excitement at all. I felt incredibly lucky that day; I skipped every line and went straight in! Between rides, I took the opportunity to take photos with Disney characters. I encountered Woody, Jessie, and the adorable Country Belle. Princesses are princesses, with incredibly small faces. Taking a photo with them was a bit of a selfie. Woody even noticed the three-eyed hat on my head and interacted with me. I was so happy!

Because of the bad weather and the small number of tourists, not only did we not have to queue for any of the rides, we didn't even need the FP card! We were so lucky to be able to play them straight away. We were so lucky! When we were riding Soaring Over the Horizon and Treasure Bay, we even got front row middle seats. We were so touched that we almost cried. Maybe this was God's way of making up for us.

We almost finished all the activities in the morning. In the afternoon, the rain gradually got heavier. We braved the rain and walked around Alice's Labyrinth. The dreamy decorations were really suitable for us sisters with girlish hearts. There were few tourists, which was perfect for taking pictures. We were happy.

Because of the rain, the Mickey Mouse Fairy Tale Train originally scheduled for 2:30 pm was changed to the Mickey Mouse Friends Train, which only had three simple floats. It was such a pity... But at least it didn't get cancelled, so we were lucky.

After dinner and replenishing our energy, we started the second round of the project. It was really great to have no one around. My favorite was Tron Lightcycle Power Run. Playing Tron Lightcycle Power Run during the day and at night really gave me different experiences!

Tips: Avoid peak travel times. We bought a combined ticket for Thursday and Friday. Thursday wasn't crowded, so the ride went smoothly. We even had a Horizon Express ticket available until noon, and the entire day's Horizon Express lasted less than 30 minutes. Friday was much more crowded, and the Horizon Express ticket, the first thing we did upon entering, was already at 4 PM, lasting over 60 minutes. I tried Horizon Express twice on the first day, but didn't manage it on the second. Learn how to claim and use Express Passes (FPs) wisely. Link your ticket to the app and claim your FP as soon as you enter. It's best to explore one area at a time. If adjacent areas have FPs, you can combine them; avoid crossing paths, as this wastes time and can be exhausting. It's not always fun to play FPs. For example, Sunken Treasures is just as good as Horizon Express and worth a second try. Consider incorporating good performances into your schedule. It's no exaggeration to say the float parade and light show account for the majority of the ticket price, especially the light show. Don't go too early; there's always a spot for the floats. If you're not dining in the banquet hall and have reserved VIP seating for the light show, it's best to secure a seat 40 minutes to an hour in advance. On Thursday morning at Disneyland, the entrance was already packed. Just as I was lamenting the hour-long wait for ticket check, I saw bags being checked in front of me. With about 20 security checkpoints, it usually took 15 minutes to get through. P.S.: Selfie sticks are not allowed, CS games are prohibited for adults, but children are allowed. No food allowed in bags, and only water bottles under 600ml are allowed. Entering Disneyland is undoubtedly captivating, and most people opt for photos. This is a big mistake: taking photos at this time will be crowded, making it difficult to capture good shots and significantly impacting the rest of your trip. The Fast Pass (FPP) is accessed through the Fast Pass lane. You need to scan the FPP QR code twice with your phone. After scanning twice, the FPP screen will clear, allowing you to claim your next FPP. The queue times displayed on the app and at the entrance are the same, but the actual queues are much faster. For example, a 30-minute pass might take up to 20 minutes, while a 20-minute pass might take about 10 minutes. The float tour app gives the start time as 2:30, but it actually starts at 3 o'clock and the whole process takes about 20-30 minutes.

On the day of arrival, you can get a physical ticket by swiping your ID card and entering the park directly. It's very convenient, and Taobao is still much cheaper than the official store. Disney's operating hours in winter are from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with ticket checking starting at 8:30 AM, so it's best to arrive early. Even on Friday, the crowds were still very large; the security line alone took about an hour. Bags are checked at security, but no body searches are performed. Selfie sticks and food are not allowed, but unopened water is allowed. I didn't plan to try a lot of attractions today. I didn't plan to try all of them, just the ones that interested me the most and were the most popular and well-received. You still have to see all the big shows. I have to say that Disney's 4D and 5D effects are truly the best. Soaring through the sky, taking in the beautiful scenery of various countries, and taking in the aromas is incredibly fun. Afterward, I rushed to the next show, Captain Jack Sparrow's at 11:10 PM. It was a great show. It's also the park's most well-received, with fantastic naked-eye 3D effects. Tarzan's 30-minute acrobatic performance was pretty good. The float parade is a must-see at Disneyland. Seeing all the characters appear, waving and interacting with the people on both sides was so adorable. Buzz Lightyear used his FP, so for the final ride, we decided to try the TRON Lightcycle Power Run because it was so beautiful. It was truly thrilling. They say you need to arrive an hour early for the evening Mirage fireworks show to get the best seats. We arrived at the Gardens of Imagination a little before 7 PM, and many people were already seated. Luckily, there was still room, so we quickly took our seats. At 8 PM, the Mirage show began. This is a classic nightly Disney attraction, and photos don't capture its beauty. After the show, don't forget to take a photo of the carousel; it's truly beautiful when lit up.

Disney is mainly divided into five major areas: Fantasyland, Gardens of Imagination, Tomorrowland, Treasure Cove, and Adventure Isle.

If you want to play all the games, you basically have to enter the park around nine in the morning. The first thing we got was the fast-track ticket for the Soaring Horizon project, which only allowed for the evening session.

The projects that impressed me the most are: Pirates of the Caribbean, Soar Over the Horizon, and TRON: Legacy Lightcycle Run.

The final highlight: Don’t miss Disney’s fireworks show~

The whole world is urging you to grow up, only Disney is desperately protecting your childhood. It can be said that all the beauty is placed here, and the girlish heart is bursting. I went there with my mother, and my mother can't play too exciting, so the guides I made are all suitable for preschoolers, hahahaha

Soar Over the Horizon offers a truly immersive 4D experience, allowing you to traverse the world from a bird's-eye view. It's truly thrilling! This popular attraction is a must-try for all ages. Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure offers a truly captivating 3D experience! It's a highly recommended attraction for both adults and children. This attraction is another visually stunning attraction. The visuals are breathtaking as warships rapidly rise from the depths to join the naval battle. Many details are meticulously crafted. While the boats typically travel straight ahead, they sometimes move backwards or even sideways, completely breaking the mold of conventional amusement rides. TRON Lightcycle Power Run, located in Tomorrowland, features a futuristic design inspired by the film of the same name. I consider it the park's most thrilling attraction and the only motorcycle-themed roller coaster in China. Unlike traditional roller coasters, you ride on a motorcycle, gliding along at high speeds, making the thrills exponentially more intense. I finally managed to snag a spot, but... My mom didn't let me go on the Crazy Honey Pot ride, which is available in all parks. It spins around in a bowl, making you feel a bit dizzy. It's also a place where girls like to take photos. P.S. The kids love it too, and my older sisters love it too [facepalming]. I didn't want to ride Dumbo, but my mom only likes it [facepalming again]

I stumbled upon the Tarzan show. I wasn't expecting much, but I was tired and wanted to take a break. The show lasted half an hour, and the performance, scenery, and plot were all fantastic. So captivating, I loved taking photos so much that I didn't even think to pull out my phone. The performers were incredibly dedicated, and I give them a huge thumbs up. The evening's luminous spectacle was the highlight of my Disney trip. In a nutshell, it was magical and awe-inspiring.

The purpose of coming to Shanghai was to accompany my girlfriend to Disneyland. I didn’t have much expectations, and I mainly wanted to take pictures for her. But after a full day, I had the following feelings.

1. Disney is more than just an amusement park; it's a dream factory where you can revisit your memories. The flavors and scenes of your childhood are within your reach.

2. America has a strong cultural output. People can queue for half an hour just to take a photo with Mickey Mouse as a child.

3. The park's formal management. I didn't see a single employee slacking off all day. All the actors and dancers were constantly sending you happy signals, even when the park closed at 9 pm. I admire them.

4. I remembered what Wang Jianlin said in an interview a few years ago before Disney came to China, and I wanted to laugh.

5. When will my country's cultural output be able to achieve this? It will take time and more importantly, it will require changes.

I've said a lot, so my advice to everyone is to arrange the fast pass time on the Disney software well, and you will definitely have no problem playing.

A few complaints:

1. The food is really expensive. The 80-yuan chicken wings are not tasty at all.

2. Every time Princess Arya appears, the whole audience cheers and the children next to her are going crazy.

Don't stop, don't stop at all, seriously, if you stop for a moment, you'll regret it when you're waiting in line...

Disney lets you experience the density of more than one billion people... Compared with it, the Oriental Pearl Tower is simply a small witch compared to it.

The travel guides I checked before said that you can't bring food into Disney, which is true. However, there are a lot of people and the inspection is not strict. You can stuff some chocolate beef jerky and other things in the gaps of your bag. They take up little space and are high in energy. When you are too tired to walk, you will know how important this is.

Bring your own water bottle. I brought a bottle of mineral water. There is drinking water next to the toilets in Disneyland, which is very convenient.

Disney is very attractive because it is full of fairy tale feeling. The girls' hearts are so excited that they have nowhere to go.

Of course, many attractions offer free seating after 9:30 PM, and there's almost no queuing. Sounds super appealing, doesn't it? But... Disneyland closes at 10 PM, and if the last subway is crowded... so manage your time well. Of course, if you're traveling by car, there are fewer restrictions!

The castle at night is psychedelic and beautiful. Even though there are thousands of mountains and rivers between us, we are reluctant to let go and follow the tail end of the fireworks show (I sincerely suggest not to leave until it is all over, as the crowds are too crowded).

This day, I was super happy, super satisfied, and super happy. Of course, it was really tiring to rush through 30,000 steps.

There will be a lot of people when you finally catch the subway. Don't waste your last bit of energy and run quickly, otherwise you might cry to death when you are caught in the crowd...

From the moment I stepped into the park, especially when I heard the familiar Disney music blaring through the air, I was inexplicably thrilled. Plus, it was a rare sunny day. Later, I learned that our visit was the least crowded in two months. It was truly a beautiful day, with beautiful scenery, beautiful people, and a wonderful mood. It was a fantastic way to spend money.

Looking at the dazzling and super dreamy objects, I really want to take them home.

As soon as I entered the park, I saw Donald Duck. I also applied for a Disney PhotoPass. Luckily, I got the pass. I think the PhotoPass is okay, mainly for letting the kids experience their little celebrity vibe. It's really hard to take photos at all the attractions.

Although I had a fairly detailed guide, once I was there, I just loved it. The summer carnival started just as we were walking into the castle gardens. By the end of the 10-minute show, we were both soaked to the skin. The kids were so excited they didn't even wear their raincoats the whole time. They really went all out.

We had lunch at the Toy Story dining area. I remember it was a set menu, around 40 or 50 yuan.

The feeling of being in Mickey's house is even more magical, with the cartoon characters that accompanied me growing up. The layout is very unique and thoughtful, and I really want to stay there forever.

The waiting time is 6:43, and the night fireworks start at 8:29. In other words, we have to reserve a spot almost two hours in advance.

Disney Kingdom is even more dreamy at night.

We didn't play many rides and didn't see any shows, but we did play the ones we wanted to play and felt the different style of Shanghai Disneyland among the huge crowds. We also look forward to making up for the rides and shows we missed next time. Overall, it was a great day trip to Disneyland.

It is better to go during non-holidays, because the experience time of the projects is relatively short, almost within 5 minutes. If the waiting time is too long, the experience will inevitably be reduced.

In fact, we entered the park before nine o'clock, and wanted to take some classic photo spots when there were fewer people, but taking photos took some time.



I checked the project times and found that Soaring Over the Horizon always takes more than 2 hours (except for the 5 projects that can be reserved, you can just queue up for other projects). When I arrived at the entrance of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, it showed that the waiting time was 75 minutes, but I didn’t think it would take that long, so I queued up and got there in about 45 minutes.



The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train looked okay and was actually quite fast. Our 5-year-old daughter was a little scared, but it wasn't a big deal. We passed by again in the afternoon and the queue was at least twice as long as it was at 10 am. For your reference.



Then we all played the projects that the little girl liked, such as Wandering in the Fairy Tale World and Crystal Voyage. The waiting time in line was less than half an hour, which I personally think is acceptable.



In the afternoon, the number of people in the park increased significantly. We played the carousel and the rotating honey pot, which can be played in about 10 minutes.



The most difficult thing was watching the Frozen show. I thought that with so many shows in one day, the queue wouldn't be long, but it turned out that it was impossible to catch it even if I arrived 15 minutes early.



There's a show roughly every hour, and to get a front row seat, you need to start lining up at least 45 minutes in advance. The line won't move, which makes it even more challenging. But seeing Elsa and Anna was a top priority for our children on this trip to Disneyland. The show, 20 minutes long and sung entirely in Chinese, was a bit distracting, and the children, who are used to the English version, didn't get to sing the entire thing, which was a bit disappointing.



Due to the epidemic, the evening fireworks show has been cancelled and the float parade has been simplified. It was too physically demanding to bring the children, so we left the park at 6 pm. With this more intuitive experience, I believe that the next trip to Disney will be more successful!

It was so fun, I can't write it in such a short review. I just went there and had so much fun. If you need a full guide, just click on my travel notes. This one is enough for beginners. Make sure you understand all the system requirements of Disney and plan your own route reasonably.

Disneyland is a familiar sight from our childhood. It truly brings us back to our childhoods, overflowing with joy. A day of eating and shopping leaves us feeling fulfilled and fulfilled. Each attraction is meticulously designed, and the visuals are stunning. Of course, it can be a bit crowded, but the key is to run. Run! Be the fastest Disney kid! There are many must-see attractions, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Soar Over the Horizon, Lightcycle Run, the Pirates of the Caribbean live show, and fireworks displays, all worth stopping by.

There are many Disney guides online. Here I will summarize some tips for concierge tickets, hoping to help friends in need!

1. Concierge tickets can be booked through the official WeChat account of Shanghai Disneyland. The price is transparent. Remember, it is not exclusive or early access, but concierge service.

2. The price of the concierge ticket will be released about three weeks in advance. If the itinerary is booked, be sure to keep an eye on the WeChat account and buy it as soon as it is released, especially during winter and summer vacations.

3. It is enough to buy the classic version of the concierge ticket. The deluxe version is an express ticket for more projects. In fact, there are not many people queuing for those extra projects. Of course, you can spend as much as you want.

4. Purchasing a concierge ticket does not affect the ability to bind your ticket to grab a free express ticket. Bind your ticket as soon as you enter the door and lock in the project you are most looking forward to. You can probably make reservations for 2 to 3 projects, provided that you are physically strong enough!

5. If possible, be sure to bring a wide-angle camera, otherwise you can only record with your eyes like me.

6. Even if you buy a concierge ticket, you should still buy a two-day ticket. On the first day, maximize the benefits of your concierge ticket by completing all the classic attractions and taking breaks for shows. On the second day, relax and enjoy some smaller attractions, catch up on any missed shows, and take some photos with your Disney friends. You don't need to book a Disney hotel; nearby hotels offer shuttle service. And if you don't do the classic attractions on the second day, you don't have to queue up early to enter the park. A two-day trip is perfect! We were just too rushed and walked almost 30,000 steps that day, leaving us with little time for photos.

The family restrooms at Shanghai Disneyland are absolutely amazing and perfect for families. They're spacious, private, and spotless! The fireworks show started right on time at 8:30 PM. When we arrived, there was a long line, with each theme changing every two minutes, so there were almost ten themes in 20 minutes. It was a visual feast. Shanghai Disneyland's TRON Lightcycle Power Run, Soar Over the Horizon, and Pirates of the Caribbean are particularly famous, but that doesn't mean the rest are worth it. Every attraction in Disneyland is worth trying, but I recommend prioritizing a few, especially if you know which ones you might miss out on and still have other options. Those don't need to be prioritized. My take: the iconic attractions are a must, but the more general attractions are optional. Watching the parade and fireworks is worth the price of admission, so prioritize them. Taking photos in the park is also a memorable experience.

Disneyland is really great and worth a visit. Actually, I didn't really feel like I was going out for fun during my entire trip to Shanghai because big cities all feel the same. But it was only on the day I got to Disneyland that I really felt like I was going there for fun. You have to get in early to line up and go straight to Soar Over the Horizon. It only took about 20 minutes to play. The turkey legs were really delicious. Time flew by while I took pictures and posed. The Dwarfs Mine Train wasn't as fun as the one in Paris, and the Marvel one didn't have much to offer. I wish they could open a Marvel roller coaster someday, hahahaha.

Most people come here for the sentiment. Let me put it simply. I went there on New Year's Day. There were many people. The facilities are similar to Happy Valley, Changlong and other amusement parks. The difference is that they are theme parks. I had fun playing there, but the ticket price is a bit expensive. The most annoying thing is the queue. People kept cutting in, so the queue got longer and longer.

We spent two days on June 30th and July 1st, went to Horizon twice, Tron twice, Peter Pan three times, and played all the other major projects. We watched the Pirates of the Caribbean and Frozen, and there was a summer show in front of the castle. We watched two parades and the fireworks show in the evening. The longest queue was 30 minutes. We took pictures with Mickey Mouse 😂 We stayed in the Toy Story Land and entered the park at 7:30 in the morning and left the park at 10 o'clock. We went back to the hotel for breakfast. We had a great time for two days.

I still give it a three-star rating overall, mainly because of the sheer number of tourists! This is completely different from other Disneyland locations. Arriving at 6:30 in the morning would already be packed, which significantly dampened the overall experience. However, the rides and service were still acceptable.

You must go (it's best to avoid holidays), and it's best to buy an early bird pass, which will save you a lot of time waiting in line. At Disney, every girl is a little princess, and you can also have a fairy tale dream~

Shanghai Disneyland, the first Disney theme park in mainland China, was incredibly crowded. We lined up around 7:30 AM and entered around 9:00 AM. Downloading the official Shanghai Disney Resort app in advance is crucial. We were lucky that day; we snagged a FP ticket for all the major attractions, and the ones that were in line were usually done in half an hour. We still managed to enjoy quite a bit throughout the day, which truly satisfied my inner girl. It's worth a second visit.

Disneyland doesn't really need much introduction. Let me share my experience. I was on a business trip and it happened to be the weekend, so I decided to go alone. I took the subway, but got off at the wrong station. Thinking it might be okay, I walked all the way to my hotel (according to the map, it was a bit far from Disneyland, but not far). I walked from a busy street to a place without streetlights. I was so scared that I had to walk under the highway. It's really remote! Luckily, there are some shops nearby. Hotels usually have morning shuttles to Disneyland, so don't sleep in. I arrived less than an hour before opening, and the line was already long. Security will open your backpack and won't allow snacks. It's important to plan your itinerary before entering. As soon as I entered, I headed straight for Soaring Over the Horizon, prioritizing the popular attractions. This is crucial, otherwise you'll end up waiting in line for hours. The biggest advantage of traveling alone is that you can use the single-passenger lane, but it's still a matter of luck. Sometimes it's slow, and sometimes you can just walk in and enjoy the ride. Planning is crucial; the Disney app also shows you the current queue situation. We ate lunch and dinner inside the park, of course. While it was a bit pricey, the Mickey-shaped rice rolls were a real treat! The taste was average, though. And for the evening fireworks, be sure to arrive early, otherwise you'll have to watch them in the square in front of the park.

Overall, four and a half stars! I'm not a girly person, and I'm more drawn to adventure than princess dreams. So, some of Disney's flagship attractions weren't as thrilling as I'd imagined, and I was even a little disappointed. Tron Lightcycle Run didn't even have a flip, and if you're only talking about thrills, it wasn't as fun as the smaller roller coaster at Happy Valley. I'd definitely skip the carousel and avoid wasting my time. Roaring Thunder Mountain felt like it just turned a corner and ended before anything happened. Soar Over the Horizon wasn't nearly as exciting or immersive as Universal Studios' Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey.

But the float parade, indoor performances and Pirates of the Caribbean (this project is really recommended, the waiting time is no more than half an hour even during peak hours) are really great.

And the finale that every Disney theme park has: the castle fireworks show is really super shocking, and it can be said to be a model of the perfect fusion of sound, light and shadow.

Although I complained a lot, I also felt the "magic" here.

Especially during lunch, the receptionist at the door greeted me with a smile and asked if I had eaten. There was also a foreign staff member who played Captain Jack Sparrow and cooperated with my funny movements on the street. Just a few simple movements and expressions can really make people feel better immediately.

It has nothing to do with girlishness, fantasy, or immersion. It’s just because I can simply relax and have fun here, so the last two items are still five stars.

Things to note when entering the park

1..Buy the tickets online. You only need to swipe your ID card to enter the park. Then you will be given a paper ticket. Be sure to keep it and hold on to it. It will be very useful.

2. Security check. The entry security check is very strict. You need to open your bags and check them one by one. You cannot bring your own water cup. Prohibited items can be thrown away or stored. The fee is 80 yuan. You can only pay by cash or card. No other methods are accepted.

3. For convenience, download an official APP in advance, Shanghai Disney Resort. You can’t make mistakes with these words. There are pictures below. There are unofficial ones, which are useless. Download the official one, register, scan the paper ticket, bind it to the APP, and then quickly grab the fast pass (there are many projects in the amusement park, and the fast pass can reduce waiting time).

Tron Lightcycle Power Run, a roller coaster ride, exciting

The Seven Dwarfs roller coaster gives you a slight sense of weightlessness, so you have to keep your eyes open the whole time.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure is great, the visual effects are superb, especially when you emerge from the bottom of the sea, it gives you an immersive feeling.

The Hug Dragon Sky Racing is a huge U-shaped turn, which is also very exciting.

Soaring Over the Horizon is definitely the most fun project. It provides a very, very good visual experience. I have traveled all over the world and have taken it twice.

Leimingshan rafting, bring your own raincoat, 10 yuan in the park, 5 yuan outside, it's okay, not very exciting rafting.

Fireworks show at night

It starts at 8:30 and by 7:00, the big square in front of the castle is already full of people. The fireworks show is very beautiful and must be seen. Don't miss it.

Although it was not as amazing as I imagined, it may also be that I was not well prepared and my physical strength was not enough, but there were still many highlights. My favorites were the mystery of the sunken treasure of Pirates of the Caribbean and Alice's garden. Although Alice's garden is all landscape, I feel that the degree of restoration of the animation is very high, and the immersiveness is relatively strong, which is much better than sitting around the animation scenes. Moreover, although the maze at the back does not look very complicated, when you really walk in, you still feel the feeling of walking in a maze.

I went there last year. It was Thursday and the weather was light rain turning cloudy. I had a lot of fun that day. There weren't many people and I didn't have to queue. I played some activities twice with my friends. 😆😆

The whole world is urging you to grow up, but only Disney wants to keep your original hope for the world.

Disney is a place where you’ll always find something new to discover and never get tired of it. My favorite part is interacting with the Disney characters, like Donald Duck, Judy, and more.

On a weekend with three kinds of weather, cloudy, sunny and rainy, I visited Disney for the fourth time and experienced a different style. There were surprisingly few people, and I visited all the classic projects. I also played Thunder Mountain rafting on a rainy night. I didn't wear a raincoat and it felt like there was water everywhere.

In April, Disneyland had an event and each ticket cost 1 yuan more, so I bought a double weekend ticket for 500 yuan. The first time I went, there were a lot of people. I went again on May 1st and there was no queue at all. I basically got to enjoy all the attractions. I recommend the Lightcycle Run and Soaring Over the Horizon, as well as the fireworks show at 8 o'clock in the evening. 🎆

A place to return to innocence. The whole world is urging you to grow up, but only here can you always be a child.

If you can only go to one place in Shanghai, it must be Disneyland! Fantasy, dreamy, and enchanting. Girls, take great photos and be a princess for a day.
