The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, known as the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, is the birthplace of the Communist Party of China. A typical Shanghai Shikumen-style building, with its interlaced blue and red bricks and black doors with copper rings, reminds one of the film "The Founding of a Party," which depicts how the delegates gathered here, held their meeting, and ultimately founded the Communist Party of China.

By Murong Yu |

The site of the First National Congress is located in a house in a lane. It's located on the west side of a northern row of four buildings. The owner is Xue Wenshu, sister-in-law of Li Hanjun, a delegate to the First National Congress. To visit the site, enter through the alley entrance (east side) of "Shu De Li" at 374 Huangpi South Road. You'll need to verify your ID and go through a security check (a second security check). The house is a Haishikumen-style building. After entering the lane and following the signs, you'll first enter the auxiliary exhibit "Party History in Art Classics," housed in the row of houses south of the original site. After the visit, you'll walk a few steps into the original building of the First National Congress. The house is divided into two floors, with the second floor inaccessible. The room is narrow, so we walked down the hallway directly to the living room where the site was located. The furnishings are simple: a large table with a tea set and a dozen round stools, two armchairs nearby, and a long table placed horizontally next to the stairs.

Diagonally across from the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is the Memorial Hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Although newly renovated, it shares the same architectural style as the site. Themed "A Great Beginning: A Historical Exhibition on the Founding of the Communist Party of China," the memorial showcases the events of the First National Congress through various displays, including sculptures, panels, and live projections. A visit to the site of the First National Congress is a must for any new visitor to Shanghai.

I always feel that I should go to this place. Next to the memorial hall should be Xintiandi, and on the other side of the road is a small forest (or it may be a park). It is another wonderful feeling, with a sense of flow between history and modern time.

It wasn't the weekend, but there were still quite a few people visiting.

At the entrance, there is a relief sculpture of the delegates to the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. There were 13 delegates at the conference. Two of them were representatives of the Communist International, who came to China to help establish the Communist Party. These 13 delegates represented the 58 party members in China at the time.

The meeting was held in the house of Li Hanjun's brother Li Shucheng, where six meetings were held. Later, due to an inspection by the police, the meeting was moved to a cruise ship on Nanhu Lake in Jiaxing, Zhejiang.

The meeting took place in what was then the French Concession. The long table where the meeting took place had a matching rack on it, which was quite exquisite. Photography is not allowed here.

The classic Shikumen architecture, with its alternating blue and red bricks, remains relevant even after a century. Its black gates and bronze doorknobs are undeniable. The Communist Party of China (CPC) started from here, rising from weakness to strength, ultimately seizing power. May the CPC lead the Chinese people in realizing the Chinese Dream!

The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is also located near Xintiandi. You can get close by swiping your ID card. If you don't have your ID, that's fine. You can just take your fingerprints...

While visiting the venue, I replayed the lectures given by my high school teacher over and over again in my mind like a movie...

The venue was later restored, and there are two Dyson floor fans on site.

It's near Xintiandi. I didn't expect there would be so many people on weekends.

By who |

This should be a place that many people will go to when they come to Shanghai, where you can eat, play and shop.

I think that in addition to the historical and patriotic significance of the First Congress site, people can also take a look at the old-style Shanghai Shikumen residential architectural structure.

I don't recommend eating here, as it's quite expensive!

If you want to go shopping, you will find that many of the shopping malls nearby are brands created by some of the current young fashion artists, so you can browse around at will.

It is free to visit and is located near Xintiandi. No photography is allowed indoors.

The venue is a brick-and-wood, one-story, old-style Shikumen residential building along the street. At the time, this Shikumen building was the apartment rented by Li Hanjun, a representative of the Shanghai group attending the First National Congress, and his brother Li Shucheng. It was here that the Chinese Communist Party held its First National Congress and adopted the Party Program and Constitution, marking the birth of the Communist Party of China. Admission is free, requiring only an ID card. There are scheduled guided tours, highlighting the deeds and subsequent lives of the delegates who attended the First National Congress. There's also a three-minute short film documenting the great achievements of the Communist Party of China since its founding. Watching it was quite moving, and I almost cried.

The Party-building activities carried out by the Party Branch of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China are free to visit. It details the process of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It is well preserved. If you are interested, you can come and have a look.

The day I went there, there were a lot of people, many groups. As the birthplace of the Communist Party of China, we came here to recall the party's history and commemorate the revolutionary ancestors. There is a place to get a commemorative stamp on the right side of the entrance.

A place of great historical significance ~ worth a visit ~

We arrived early in the morning just as the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China opened (opening hours are 9:00-17:00, closed on Mondays). The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is open to tourists free of charge, and you can enter and visit with your ID card.

The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is a typical Shikumen-style building in Shanghai. The exterior walls are made of alternating blue and red bricks and inlaid with white powder lines. The lintel has alum-red carvings, the black lacquered door is topped with a copper ring, the door frame is surrounded by beige stone strips, and the upper part of the lintel has an arched stacked sculpture decoration.

Through the sculptures, the lively discussions at the meeting were vividly recreated for us. At the end of the exhibition, the guide led us to a screen where we watched a short film about the Party. Never forget your original aspiration and keep your mission firmly in mind.

It might have been the coldest winter day in Shanghai, but it was also the day of the brightest winter sunshine. Nestled in Xintiandi, the meeting place memorial hall is a pair of two-story brick-and-wood Shikumen buildings (typical Shanghai dwellings from the 1920s). One was the home of Li Hanjun, a delegate to the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, while the other was the residence of the First National Congress delegates in Shanghai, the Bowen Girls' School. Their distinct style, unlike the bustling urban landscape, is quite captivating.

The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is located in the Xintiandi district. No entrance fee is required; you can simply pick up your ticket and enter. Security is exceptionally strict, though. The venue is small, and while photos are allowed in the lobby, they are not permitted after you reach the second floor. This sacred place is of great historical significance and a place worth remembering. It's a chance to learn about the revolutionary cause! Reflect on the history of our Party, which has weathered more than 90 years of trials and tribulations, growing from small to large, from weak to strong. A single spark can start a prairie fire. Long live the Communist Party of China!

If these old houses hadn't hosted the First Congress of the Communist Party of China, they might still be gone. Even if they were, they would only represent the charm of old Shanghai. However, the fact that the First Congress was held here has imbued these houses and this land with a certain red atmosphere. The houses themselves are quite beautiful and serve as a base for patriotic education, making them very meaningful.

By Blue Ocean |

The building housing the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is quite distinctive. According to publicly available information, the First National Congress was held with foreign funding and guidance. The Communist International provided each delegate with 100 yuan for travel expenses and arranged for their food and lodging in Shanghai. Therefore, it's not surprising that they chose this location for the meeting.

The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This is the birthplace of the Communist Party of China. In 1921, the CPC held its First National Congress here, marking the founding of the Party. The site, a Shikumen-style building, has been converted into a Party History Museum. The museum displays numerous documents and materials, using illustrations and text to depict the history of the CPC's founding, development, maturity, and rise to power. The site also features a re-creation of the original conference room, including long dining tables, round stools, coffee tables, chairs, two-drawer tables, vases, tea sets, and other furniture, all restored to their original state. Visiting the site is like taking a lesson in Party history.

The site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is located in Xintiandi and is open to the public. It's a great place for patriotic education. On the day we visited, tickets were free, but I wonder if they're also free on other days. The building is well-preserved and restored, and contains a wealth of cultural relics. I recommend taking the time to visit Xintiandi. Reflecting on the bitter past will help you appreciate the peaceful and prosperous life we live today.

Located in a bustling area of Shanghai, no entrance fee required. We first visited the museum. The site is actually quite small, and photography is not allowed inside. However, I managed to sneakily trick the security guard into letting me take photos without flash. He said yes. However, photography is not allowed at the actual site, and there's no electricity, so you can't see much in low light. The building itself is quite beautiful, and a quick tour will take you about 30 minutes. The surrounding city scenery is also stunning.

I've never had the chance to visit, but recently, while visiting Taiping Lake in Xintiandi, I passed by the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China across from it and decided to stop by for a visit. It was a truly memorable and memorable trip. The site is an old Shikumen building located at the intersection of Huangpi South Road and Xingye Road. Get off at the Huangpi South Road subway station, then walk along Huangpi South Road toward Xintiandi. Once you cross Taicang Road, you'll find Taiping Lake. Tickets are free and available at the ticket office near the entrance. The site exhibits not only artifacts from the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, but also valuable materials from old Shanghai, such as old coins and maps from the Shanghai Concession period. It's truly worth a visit. The life-size cast of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China, especially, attracted many visitors to stop and take photos.

The First Congress Site of the Communist Party of China is located in Xintiandi. Its architectural style is also Shikumen style, which blends in with the surrounding buildings. Inside the First Congress Site is a memorial hall, which is a patriotism education base. If you want to learn about the party history, you can go and see it. Personally, I don’t think it’s interesting. The main thing is to see the architectural style.

By Mo Ye Fei Hua |

This is highly recommended. No entrance fee required, free to visit. Learn about the history of our Party. Ahem, I think some education is best developed when people genuinely love and understand it, rather than being forced to accept it. Of course, I really enjoy learning about history. When visiting a city, you should learn about the local characteristics: history, culture, snacks, and so on. Oh, and by the way, you can leave a message at the end of your visit, and the computer will automatically take a photo for you when you submit your message. Remember to strike a beautiful pose O(∩_∩)O~~

Of course, the street outside the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China is also incredibly beautiful—photographers, come on!!! Behind it lies the epitome of Shanghai's Haipai culture, where you'll encounter people speaking all sorts of languages. Not far away, the ruins of South Korea's former Provisional Government are also located in that alleyway. After the September 3rd military parade, South Korean President Park Geun-hye even visited here. Hahaha, even Korean tour groups come here specifically. Last time, I ran into a handsome, long-legged guy. This place is a microcosm of Shanghai's alley culture. You can go and see it, but don't disturb them. Please respect the locals' way of life, as you might see something you don't understand.

I went to a large old site. You can enter for free with your ID card. It's in Xintiandi. There weren't many people and it was very quiet. I was particularly impressed by the wax figures. They were really real, with very accurate expressions. I stood there for a long time, and they felt like real people. When I left, there was a screen where I could leave a message. It said that I could see it again and take a photo when I came back a year later. I don't know if I will come here again in the future and see the footprints I left here.
