The first stop of the trip to Shanxi, I brought my little baby who was less than 27 months old. There were a lot of people, but I could see a lot of things that are not common on weekdays. My old man likes places like this very much. I think it is also related to his current job. The location is easy to find. It is very close to my husband's residence. It is around the Yingze Bridge. There are four floors in total. We started from the fourth floor because the baby fell asleep, skipping 2 floors. In the afternoon, we transferred to Jin Temple. When we exchanged tickets to enter, we caught up with the flow limit. Next time I have a chance, I can take a closer look when I don’t bring my baby, or wait until the child is older to check in, and let her understand the culture of Jinzhong by the way

Walk along the west of Yingze Bridge and Binhe West Road for ten minutes to reach the "Shanxi Museum". The main exterior of the Shanxi Museum presents the images of "Dou" and "Ding". "Dou" symbolizes the joy of harvest, and "Ding" means stability and auspiciousness. The museum houses many precious cultural relics unearthed in Shanxi. "The Hegemony of the State of Jin" shows the historical process of the development, growth, and hegemony of the princes in ancient Shanxi (the State of Jin) and the display of unearthed cultural relics. There are also special exhibitions such as "Cradle of Civilization", "Traces of Xia and Shang", "Melting Pot of Ethnic Groups", "Art of Porcelain Garden", and "Remnant of Buddhist Style".

The last half day of Taiyuan's itinerary was spent at the Shanxi Museum. The Shanxi Museum became the last stop after the Temple of Jin. We were supposed to go to the Temple of Jin, but the day before I heard from the uncle in the same car that the Temple of Jin was also crowded with people, so I gave up. I really couldn't stand the crowded situation. Although I had to accept this scene during the short holiday, I still had to avoid it as much as possible.

The best place to understand a city and its history is in the streets and alleys, and also in museums, which are the most intuitive and direct. Shanxi Museum is located on the bank of Fen River.

Shanxi Museum is great. As a Taiyuan native, it's my first time to go there. I've been to some museums in other provinces. Our Shanxi Museum is definitely of high standard. The transportation is convenient, the parking lot is large, and it's free to bring your ID card to the self-service ticket machine to exchange tickets for free. I originally planned to spend about three hours to visit, but I didn't expect to visit directly from nine in the morning to four in the afternoon. The number of cultural relics in Shanxi ranks first in the country, including the "Hou Ma Jin Dynasty Dong's Tomb Playing Yong", "Wooden Board Lacquer Painting", "Houma League Book" and the prototype of the courtyard emblem "Bird Bottle", the treasure of the town museum "Dragon-shaped Gong" and "Cut Man Guarding the Park Car" and other cultural relics are the best of the best. Come to the museum to feast your eyes. Here I will talk about the original "wooden board lacquer painting" unearthed from Sima Jinlong's tomb. It is only exhibited for a few days during the Spring Festival every year. At other times, it is just a replica. However, Datong Museum also has three identical wooden board lacquer paintings. If you are interested, you can go and have a look. There are free guides in the museum or follow the Shanxi Museum Weibo public account. You can also listen to the explanation through WeChat, which is very convenient.

Museums in every place are probably a must-visit place. Due to limited time, I only took a cursory look here, but I also have a deep memory.

Shanxi Museum is located on the bank of Fen River, adjacent to the Geological Museum.

The basic exhibition of Shanxi Museum is based on the theme of "Soul of Jin", and consists of seven historical and cultural topics, including the Cradle of Civilization, Traces of Xia and Shang Dynasties, Hegemony of Jin State, Melting Pot of Nationalities, Remnant of Buddhism, Hometown of Opera, and Shanxi Merchants in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and five art topics, including the Splendor of Civil Engineering, Elite of Mountains and Rivers, Calligraphy and Painting, The World of Square and Round, and Art of Porcelain Garden.

As usual, I put the museum at the last stop, the 7:30 pm high-speed train, thinking that the museum can not only see good things, but also manage my time freely. I always remember the slogan "A thousand years in one glance, Shanxi is in front of you". Shanxi is the province with the largest number of national treasures, so there are naturally treasures in the provincial museum. I did my homework before coming here, and there are more than a dozen treasures in the museum alone, which can really broaden my horizons.

I have long been looking forward to the museum in Shanxi Province, a province rich in cultural relics. As expected, it did not disappoint me. Wandering in the exhibition halls of the Shanxi Museum, freely shuttled between ancient and modern times, and took a panoramic view of the splendid Shanxi culture. It was worth the trip. The Shanxi Museum has a collection of cultural relics and a clear theme. "Jin State Hegemony" reproduces the changes in the eight hundred years from "Tongye Fengdi" to "Three Families Dividing Shanxi", "Jin Merchants in Ming and Qing Dynasties" shows the style of Shanxi merchants who are connected to the world, "Buddhist Style Relics" presents the profound Buddhist art of Yungang Grottoes, and "Civil Engineering Splendor" shows the unshakable status of Shanxi as "China's Ancient Architecture Treasure House". Various theme exhibitions have distinct Shanxi characteristics, showing the unique regional culture, and it is a hall that fully displays the Shanxi civilization. The vicissitudes of the Shanxi land are engraved in the broken bricks and tiles, and the glorious historical fragments are inlaid in each exquisite cultural relic. The Shanxi Museum carries the heavy cultural accumulation of this ancient land.

Shanxi Museum, located at No. 13, North Section of Binhe West Road, Taiyuan City, is one of the first national first-class museums and a national museum jointly built by the central and local governments. It is the largest cultural relic collection, preservation, protection, research and exhibition center in Shanxi. The museum has an exhibition area of 13,000 square meters and a cultural relic storage area of 12,000 square meters. There are more than 500,000 collections in total, with bronze, porcelain, stone carvings, Buddhist statues, murals, calligraphy and painting as its characteristics. Among them, there are 40,282 precious cultural relics, including 2,129 first-class cultural relics, and more than 110,000 books and ancient books.

There are too many national treasures in the Shanxi Museum. You should do your homework in advance before visiting so as not to miss some truly valuable cultural relics.

After having a full breakfast on the underground floor of the hotel, we walked to the Shanxi Museum next door to see the long history of Shanxi Province and the national treasures. When we arrived at the door, we found that during the epidemic, museums and other attractions adopted a limited entry strategy. We went to the site to make an appointment, but there were no vacancies, and there were no vacancies in the afternoon. There was no other way, so we missed it with regret.

Gu Zuyu, a Qing Dynasty scholar, pointed out in his "Dushi Fangyu Jiyao" that the situation of the world must be derived from Shanxi. During the Jin and Yuan Dynasties, Shanxi's economy and culture took the lead in northern China. In the Ming Dynasty, the Shanxi Xingzhongshu Province was established in Taiyuan, and later changed to the Chengxuan Zhengshisi, which governed the five prefectures and three states of Shanxi. In the Qing Dynasty, it began to be called Shanxi.

Shanxi Museum is basically the same level as newly built museums in China, with suitable hardware and software. It is closed on Mondays, New Year's Eve, and the first day of the first lunar month (it is open on Mondays because it is a national holiday). There are paid explanations for about 100 yuan, and there are free volunteer explanations, but they are at fixed times every day. There is the latest digital voice guide machine. You can listen to the explanation content by aiming it at the launch point or entering the exhibit code. With a valid ID and a deposit of 100 yuan, go to the general service desk to apply for the guide rental procedure. The rental fee is 10 yuan. There are also guide APPs and WeChat guides. Enter the 4-digit number next to the exhibit description sign to follow the voice explanation. It is free but not very convenient.

The basic exhibition of Shanxi Museum is based on the theme of "Soul of Shanxi", and consists of 7 historical topics and 5 artistic topics. If you visit carefully, it can give you enough enjoyment for a whole day.

This is the first Shaanxi History Museum I visited. Since then, no provincial museum has been able to amaze me. When you go to a place, especially a provincial capital, you should still visit the museum, which is equivalent to taking a history lesson.

Shanxi Museum is located on the west bank of Fen River, with a construction area of 51,000 square meters. The main hall is shaped like a bowl or a tripod, symbolizing abundant harvest, abundance, stability and auspiciousness. There are about 400,000 precious collections. Shanxi Museum is free. You only need to show your second-generation ID card, pass the security check, and then enter the museum. The museum has a total of 4 floors, of which 2-4 floors are permanent exhibition halls. The essence is on the 2-3 floors, which display the "historical special topic", which is divided into the cradle of civilization - traces of Xia and Shang - hegemony of Jin State - melting pot of nations - Buddhist style - hometown of opera - Shanxi merchants in Ming and Qing Dynasties, focusing on the history of Shanxi from the Stone Age to the Tang, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The 1st floor is the exhibition hall for temporary exhibitions; the 4th floor exhibits the "art special topic", which consists of 5 art special topics such as civil engineering, mountain and river elites, calligraphy and painting, square and round world, and porcelain garden art.

Shanxi Museum is located on the west bank of Fen River. It looks like a square tripod. Compared with Shaanxi Museum and Hunan Museum, there are not many tourists visiting here, so there is no need to make an appointment online in advance or queue up on site. Basically, you can enter as you please.

In 2019, the Shanbo Museum celebrated its centenary. Walking into the hall, the first thing you see is a huge halo relief, and next to it stands its treasure, a bird-shaped pillar. The entire main hall is octagonal from the ground to the top, gradually converging upwards. It is said to be designed in imitation of the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda.

The museum has 12 exhibition halls from the second floor to the fourth floor. The basic display is based on the theme of "Soul of Shanxi", telling the past splendor and glory of Shanxi. You must pay close attention to the eight treasures of the museum: bird-shaped zun, Hu Fu wine jar, animal-shaped goblet, Miaodigou painted pottery jar, painted goose and fish bronze lamp, wood lacquer painting of Sima Jinlong's tomb in the Northern Wei Dynasty, bronze sacrificial man holding a plate, and stone coffin of Yu Hong's tomb.

If you come to Taiyuan, you must visit the Shanxi Museum. There are so many exquisite items. Bird statues, wood lacquer paintings from the tomb of Sima Jinlong in the Northern Wei Dynasty, bronze sacrificial animals holding plates, and stone coffins from the tomb of Yu Hong. They are all treasures of the museum. There are also many cultural relics from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Liao and Jin Dynasties.

There are not many provincial museums that can be called museums. This year also coincides with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Shanxi Museum. Now there is no need to exchange paper tickets with documents. You only need to swipe your ID card at the door for security check. Seeing the long queue of security check, the museum immediately guided tourists without bags to take the barrier-free passage. Good reviews! Parking is available in the museum for 3 yuan without time limit. In order to better understand the cultural relics in the museum and the historical changes of Shanxi, we are going to ask a manual explanation. The explanation fee written on the sign is 100 yuan/hour. However, when we went to the counter, the staff said that we did not have a paid tour guide, and then called a volunteer for us and another group of tourists who came to ask. This is our biggest gain in the Shanxi Museum this time-Teacher Jing Di, two hours is not enough.

It is a museum worth visiting. For me who likes history, museums are almost a must-visit when visiting these cities with a long history and culture. Taiyuan is a little worse than Xi'an, but it should be better than most museums in northern cities. There are still many old toys in it. There are also some group activities for children.

Shanxi Provincial Museum, I feel like I have to check in every time I go to a city. I didn't make an appointment in Xi'an before, so I went in as soon as it opened. The parking fee is 3 yuan, no time limit. The second to fourth floors are regular exhibitions, and the first floor is a special exhibition.

Came to Shanxi,

If you want to choose a must-visit museum,

Which one should I go to? Without a doubt, it is the Shanxi Museum!!!

It is not only one of the earliest museums in China, but also has accumulated a century of history and glory.

It also carries the years and the history of Chinese civilization in Shanxi.

Opening hours: 09:00-17:00. Admission stops at 16:00.

Like other museums, it is closed on Mondays (Mondays are national holidays but open as usual).

In addition to manual explanations and renting a guide machine, I strongly recommend following the Shanxi Museum’s WeChat public account, where you can listen to explanations of cultural relics for free.

The theme of the museum's exhibition is "Soul of Jin", which is divided into seven historical and cultural topics: Cradle of Civilization, Traces of Xia and Shang Dynasties, Hegemony of Jin State, Melting Pot of Nations, Remains of Buddhism, Hometown of Opera, and Jin Merchants of Ming and Qing Dynasties; as well as five art topics: Splendor of Civil Engineering, Elite of Mountains and Rivers, Calligraphy and Painting, The World of Square and Round, and Art of Porcelain Garden.

If you read each one carefully, one day may not be enough, so just pick the ones that interest you.

Remember to bring some food and water, after all, you can't finish it in a short time.

Although the Shanxi Museum is not as famous as the Shaanxi Museum, the museum is still the essence of a city and there are still many treasures to see. The Shanxi Museum is very large, comparable to the "National Museum".

After visiting so many museums, I feel that the humanistic service of Shanxi Museum is very good. The museum distributes free tickets, volunteers give explanations regularly, and there are also some elementary school and junior high school students who give detailed and careful explanations, which is really good. I personally think it is much better than the National Museum.

It takes about an hour and a half to walk from the first floor to the fourth floor following the volunteers.

This trip to Taiyuan was really worth it! As a fan of "National Treasure", I actually checked in three Shanxi national treasures today! Houma Alliance Book, Houma Jin Dynasty Dong Family Tomb Opera Figurines, Wood Lacquer Painting ~ and the cute bird statue on the ticket hahahaha

There seems to be a Taiyuan Museum. I almost got confused. The area is not too big or too small. You can visit it in half a day. You need to pick up the ticket on site. It is very cold in winter. There is no restaurant or water dispenser. There is a tea room. There are many things in it. It is not as good as the one in Shenyang and it is much smaller. In short, it is worth visiting if you are interested in cultural relics in Taiyuan.

The transportation is not very convenient. We took the bus from Liuxiang and walked more than one kilometer after getting off the bus. The Shanxi Museum covers a large area and has rich exhibits. I personally like the items from the Qing Dynasty.

The Shanxi Museum should actually have been on the first season of "National Treasure". This museum has a very complete range of categories and a very rich exhibits. It would take a whole day, or at least half a day, to just take a quick look. Coming here allows you to learn about Shanxi's history, geography, and culture in detail. It is definitely worth a special trip.

The overall facilities are very complete and divided into many exhibition halls. There are five floors, and each floor has three or four exhibition halls. There are still many interesting halls. The most distinctive thing is their little guides, who all look like elementary school students, but they are very good at explaining.

By Light rain |

The museum integrates the history and soul of a city, not to mention the Shanxi Museum. Five thousand years of Shanxi, such a rich cultural heritage is worth worshipping. There is a bus No. 865 directly to the entrance. The main building of the museum is a four-story structure with a bucket-shaped exterior and the top of the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda inside...

The first floor is a temporary exhibition hall, the second and third floors are exhibition halls telling the history of Shanxi, the fourth floor is a special area, and there is another exhibition hall next to it showing movable cultural relics of Shanxi. The luggage storage system is very advanced with facial recognition, and there are three types of cabinets, large, medium and small, and a 24-inch suitcase is no problem. The visit experience is much better than the next door, without the pain of rubbing shoulders, and there are little volunteers to give free explanations, and you can also listen to voice explanations.

Shanxi has a wealth of cultural relics, but the exhibition layout can be improved to make the relics inside more brilliant. The precious lacquer screen is just lying in a corner (or it is a replica); the Buddha statue exhibition hall on the third floor is designed in the style of a cave, and the Shanxi merchant exhibition hall also simulates the southern Shanxi architecture, giving visitors an immersive experience.

I hope Shanxi can inherit this culture well and live up to its 5,000-year history.

I spent 3 and a half hours in the museum, and most of the explanations are available online. The exhibits here are mainly Jin culture, and there are not many. The museum closes at 5 o'clock. I went to see the souvenir shops, hoping to buy cute souvenirs like the ones I bought in the Forbidden City to take home. Unfortunately, there are not many styles of goods here, and the cute things are also very simple.

By Sky Shadow Vision |

There are 4 floors in total. It takes about one hour to visit each floor if you listen carefully to the explanation and visit slowly. If you don't feel too tired, I suggest you visit it in two visits. Because you don't want to see more after visiting the 1st and 2nd floors, you will just rush through the rest. So it is better to visit it in two visits. The visit takes about half a day, including taking the bus. There are 865 buses that go to the city from the east gate. There are many other buses that go to the west gate or Yingze Street. There is a geological museum and the city library at the north gate.

The museum is not very big, but its appearance is quite distinctive and solemn. The museum is distributed along the axis, with a four-story main hall in the center and ancillary halls at the four corners, just like the shape of the brackets in ancient buildings, making the main hall in the center more solemn and tall; the whole building has a base, stacked with water, layer by layer, and the main hall and the ancillary hall both adopt a square shape, especially the main hall, which slants outward layer by layer, giving a feeling of being able to take off; it is natural and has a strong historical and cultural atmosphere; you don't need to buy tickets to visit the museum, but you need to exchange your ID card for tickets to enter the exhibition hall.

At that time, there was a special exhibition in the museum's annex called Through the Walls. It was a study of ancient buildings by Taiwanese scholars. I went in to see it first. It was indeed as described in the introduction. The ancient buildings were drawn using the axial and sectional drawing methods of cartography to display the internal structure of the building without affecting the overall perception of the building. They were painted and lifelike, which really lived up to the name of Through the Walls. Not only in Shanxi, but also many famous ancient buildings were displayed in this way. While praising the scholars, I was also impressed by the history of Chinese civilization, a great nation, a great people, and a great history. The main hall contains the permanent exhibition halls of the Shanxi Museum. You can visit them from the first to the fourth floors. The permanent basic exhibitions are themed on the spirit of Jin and introduce the development of Shanxi Jin civilization from many aspects.

As a young literary man, how can I not visit the museum? The architectural style of Shanxi Museum is similar to that of the China Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo. It is located on Binhe West Road in Taiyuan City, relatively close to the city center. It is also a landmark building in Taiyuan. Tickets can be picked up for free with an ID card. The parking lot is large and free. The museum itself is not too big. You must follow the guide to understand the collection of cultural relics and the history of this city. The specific time of the guide can be checked at the service desk. The main history of Taiyuan is the Jin State during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. The treasure of the museum is the bird statue. The whole tour takes about 1.5 hours.

The design of the museum is very user-friendly. You can check your bag at the baggage storage area by scanning your face, and there are three types of lockers: large, medium, and small. Beverages are not allowed inside, but there are drinking fountains. The exhibitions inside are naturally amazing, and some places will build models to introduce you, which is very considerate. There are voice explanations on the WeChat public account of the Shanxi Museum. Due to time constraints, I only visited the Great Wall exhibition, the Grottoes exhibition, and the Architecture exhibition.

Very good, worth visiting, a little crowded on November 11, with many people queuing. Warm reminder, the queue is for taking bags and needing to go through security check, you don't need to queue if you don't bring bags. Then, if you bring bags, you can store them at the bag storage area in the exhibition hall on the basement floor opposite the ticket office. If you can avoid queuing, don't queue. If you see others queuing, you can observe first, haha.

There are many good things. The central hall imitates the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, which is very innovative. The mascot and image spokesperson of the Shanbo Museum, the owl, is a bronze ware of the Shang Dynasty, the owl. Later, I bought a porcelain bottle of the owl in the Yungang Grottoes, which is very cute! I don’t know why the souvenir shop of the Shanbo Museum doesn’t have it, maybe it’s sold out. The Han Dynasty goose and fish bronze lamp. Although it is not a little bit simple, it is very cute! ! Shanxi has a rich ground architecture, many of which are exquisite. There are wooden models in the museum, and I learned a lot of knowledge about ancient architecture.

I went there the day before National Day, avoiding the peak of the crowd. I drove there and searched for the museum parking lot on the navigation. I drove straight in to the ticket office at the East Gate, where there is a free parking lot. You don't have to park outside, otherwise it will take a long time to walk. There are staff in the parking lot directing, and their attitude is also very good.

I really recommend hiring a guide!!! When I first arrived, all the guides were busy, so I rented a guide first, and then asked around 12 o'clock, and finally a guide was available. A team of 2, 100 yuan, not expensive, after all, the museum itself is free. In comparison, the real guide was really good! It was smooth and natural, and it was obvious that it was not memorized by rote. She would also mention that a certain treasure was something in the Princess Weiyoung, or something in the Legend of Lu Zhen. After her connection, I felt closer to these cultural relics.

With her reminder, I noticed many more details, such as the mural in Lou Rui's tomb, where a warrior on the back fights with a lion and a tiger, and the tiger bites the warrior's head, but the warrior takes the opportunity to stab the tiger with a sword.

She answered all the extra questions I asked. It is said that this guide has been in the museum for 10 years. It can be seen that the young lady has dabbled in history, politics, and even architecture and art. She was also very kind to remind us that the special exhibition inside and outside the Great Wall exhibited treasures that have never been taken out. Suddenly I really wish my mother was a museum guide, then I would have been so happy when I was a child.

The only regret is that the explanation time is too short, only a little over an hour. It would be better if we could choose the exhibition hall to focus on.

The museum is well built. I came here twice. The first time I learned about the history of the Three Kingdoms and sorted out some historical knowledge. The second time was to see temporary exhibitions. There was a temporary exhibition of the Russian Empire that was good.

After getting off the train, I dragged my suitcase with my friends to the Shanxi Museum. The locker at the door for storing luggage is face-scanning, and it can actually put down suitcases. We, who haven't visited the museum yet, sighed for a few minutes. Not to mention the super-large touch-screen interactive board at the back, the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda-style roof, and various items of ancient rich people. Online guides all say that there are many things to see here, so I spent a whole day alone. At noon, I took hot water on the second floor and ate the bread I brought with me, which was considered lunch. There are also various books on the second floor that introduce the background of Shanxi's ancient monuments. I flipped through the Pingyao Ancient City that I was going to visit the next day to learn more:) So my friends were very disgusted, "Where are the knife-cut noodles you promised? Are you sure this is Shanxi, not the Capital Library?" However, I really think this place is worth staying for a whole day. It must be tiring to keep walking around, and a break is very necessary.

The museum opens at 9 am. It is free but not free of charge. You need to bring your ID card to the self-service machine to exchange for tickets. It is closed on Mondays

The Shanxi Museum has a beautiful appearance and a reasonable layout of exhibition halls inside, which makes people walk around without turning back. The collection is also very good, and it also introduces relevant history. When I went there, the first floor also exhibited exhibits from the Russian Empire. The only pity is that the ancient calligraphy and paintings originally exhibited were moved to hold an exhibition of contemporary painters. Although it is difficult to see the original works of precious calligraphy and paintings in many museums, it is also good to see the imitations. The lack of more temporary exhibition halls is a problem

The museum is very good, reflecting the historical context of Shanxi Jin culture

A very good museum, I strongly recommend spending half a day to slowly see it

Although the Shanxi Museum is not as famous as the Shaanxi Museum, the museum is always the essence of a city and the key to interpreting the history of a city. The Shanxi Museum can be said to be a collection of the entire history of Shanxi. The 5,000-year history makes the Shanxi Museum appear to be very profound. Through multi-angle and multi-faceted displays, it narrates the splendor and glory of the past.

The Shanxi Museum is composed of the main hall and four auxiliary buildings. The shape of the main hall feels like an ancient rice container, like a bowl or a tripod, symbolizing a good harvest, abundance, stability and auspiciousness. The shape of the entire building is grand and simple. Shanxi Museum is free. You can get a visit ticket from the self-service ticket machine with your second-generation ID card, pass the security check with the ticket, and then enter the museum for a visit.

When you enter the central hall, you can look up and see a beautiful translucent roof.

Before coming here, I heard that the Shanxi Museum is known as the home of Crouching Tigers, Hidden Dragons, and has a very rich collection.

I had imagined that I would enjoy the long river of Shanxi's history and culture, but in the end, visiting the Shanxi Museum turned into a punch-in to complete the task. I didn't hire a tour guide or rent an electronic interpreter. I just listened to the tour guides of others around me and heard a few historical stories here and there, so I didn't leave a very deep impression. Maybe it was preconceived, and I always felt that the Shanxi Museum was slightly inferior to the Shaanxi Museum. The security guards of the Shanxi Museum are very responsible. There are sockets next to the benches in the hall for people to rest. Tourists are not allowed to charge. The security guards will stop them in time when they see it. If tourists have uncivilized sitting postures, the security guards will also persuade them kindly, so the whole museum seems to be in order, without the phenomenon of noisy voices, which is still quite good. I didn't visit the Shanbo carefully, and now I think it's a pity when I think about it.

The most distinctive features are the Shanxi merchant culture and murals. The most treasured treasures are the tomb of Yu Hong, the bird statue, and the goose and fish bronze lamp. The jade pendant group was selected for CCTV's "If National Treasures Could Talk".

The Buddha statues and wood carvings are very exquisite, which is rare in other museums. The Shanxi Museum on the Fen River is the best choice for museum lovers.

Each provincial museum is a classic and worth a visit. The electronic interactive equipment in the hall is both educational and entertaining.

Highly recommended, there are many good things. The parking fee is three yuan, which is really not expensive and very conscientious. In the peak season, you have to queue up for security check with bags, and there are so many people. It is recommended not to bring bags. It takes 5 hours to go around carefully.

It is a must-visit place when you come to Taiyuan to appreciate the ancient cultural treasures of Shanxi and broaden your horizons.

The Shanxi Museum has a self-service ticket collection room, which is like a self-service bank. However, the long queue outside is not very humane and can be improved.

On the back of the ticket is your name and entry time.

The Shanxi Museum opens at 9:00. You need to queue up to get your ticket with your ID card, but there are not many people. When I went there, there were less than 20 people. It was very fast, unlike the one in Xi'an, where the queue is so long that you will feel depressed! The things inside are good, so you want to stay there and not leave. Just looking at them will make you full! 4,000 people a day, 2,000 in the morning and afternoon, not many people, a total of four floors, 100 explanations, only the second and third floors, one hour, only the key points, the first and fourth floors are free to visit, it depends on personal preference, my son and I like museums, we feel that time is not enough, the child's father is sleepy and yawns all the time, Xi'an Museum can also stay for a small day, this, four hours! Isn't it good? Isn't it surprising?

This museum is quite large and free to visit. You just need to swipe your ID card at the ticket machine at the gate to get the ticket. The good news is that the tickets here can not only visit the regular exhibitions, but also the special exhibitions of the period. There are many floors in the exhibition hall, and there are special exhibitions in the four corners. The basic display of the museum is based on the theme of "Soul of Jin". The treasure of the town is the bronze ware used for sacrifice - "Bird Zun", which is also the symbol on the ticket and facade of the exhibition hall. In fact, the museum does not need to rent an interpreter at all, and you have to pay a deposit and rent, because we later found that the WeChat public account "Shanxi Museum" on the mobile phone has explanation videos and texts of almost all the important exhibits. The explanation voice is also divided into adult and children's versions to adapt to the children's understanding ability. It is a very thoughtful design. It's just that some places in the exhibition hall have poor signals. The advantage of renting an interpreter is that it is not connected to the Internet and is not affected by the signal. The tour guide needs to be listened to by tilting the neck and putting it close to the ear like a telephone microphone. It is a bit tiring after a long time. It is recommended to bring an ordinary headset (3.5mm round hole interface) which can be plugged into the headphone jack of the tour guide. It will be clear and will not affect other tourists.

Shanxi Museum does not allow you to bring in water bottles and drinks. If you can bring them, you need to store your bag during security check, or put the marked water bottles on the first floor of the public table for you to drink whenever you want. The gift shop on the first floor is worth a visit, and the most important thing is that the prices are relatively affordable. It is worth a visit. The parking fee of Shanxi Museum is 3 yuan per car. There are plenty of parking spaces in the museum, and it is very convenient to drive by yourself. Shanxi Museum official website: *** You can check the exhibition projects and key cultural relics in advance to know what to expect when you visit.

It is worth a visit. Shanxi Province itself is a place with history. There are many treasures here. It is very meaningful for children to act as guides.

It is best to enter from the East Gate. I went from the North Gate to the East Gate. There are two places to pick up tickets. One for ID cards and one for other documents. It is best to pick up tickets in advance.

The security check at Shanxi Museum was very slow. There were only two entrances, one for those without bags and one for those with bags. You couldn't even bring water with you. It took me half an hour from getting the ticket to entering the museum.

Shanxi Museum is the provincial museum with the richest and most complete themes I have ever seen. It has 7 historical and cultural topics, including Cradle of Civilization, Traces of Xia and Shang Dynasties, Jin Dynasty Hegemony, National Melting Pot, Buddhist Style, Hometown of Opera, and Shanxi Merchants in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and 5 art topics, including Civil Engineering Splendor, Mountain and River Elite, Calligraphy and Painting, Square and Round World, and Porcelain Garden Art. This is because Shanxi is the birthplace of the Chinese nation, and more importantly, the melting pot of the Chinese nation. Because in Chinese history, Shanxi is both the hinterland of China and the frontier, and with developed industry and commerce and heroic folk customs, its historical appearance is much more colorful and magnificent.

I was very lucky when I went there. I caught up with the temporary exhibition of ancient Egyptian artifacts. I saw the content I learned in history textbooks before, which was presented in front of me through thousands of years. I saw many statues that I didn’t know in the past. I was very moved to glimpse the civilization that had passed away! The permanent exhibition of the entire museum is also worth seeing. There are five floors with clear themes. The exhibitions of Buddha statues and ancient buildings in Shanxi can be taken a closer look. It can be regarded as a window to understand the ancient civilization of Shanxi. I followed the explanation of the little guide. It was really good. The activities in the museum were also very rich. I would come again if I had the chance! As for transportation, there is no direct bus from the train station. You need to transfer or walk in at Yingze Bridge. I ride a shared bicycle back and forth. There are few bus routes at the gate and the waiting time is relatively long.
