I took a spontaneous trip a while ago, and I only remembered to post it today when I saw the photos.

First of all, the air is very good, and there is no trace of PM2.5 at all. There is also a super big waterfall in Bifengxia, which is very cool. I think it is a must-see for taking photos.

I also found a really fun thing in here that I can’t name, it’s really fun to step on the ground.

Finally, you can book the zoo ticket when you go to Bifengxia. After climbing the mountain, you can go to see the animals.

Also, remember to bring rain gear, Ya'an is a famous rainy city, you never know when it will rain...

The National 5A-level tourist attraction is named for its lush forests and green all year round. Legend has it that it was created by the heroine Nuwa, who mended the sky. More than 60 scenic spots in the scenic area are related to Nuwa, which is quite mysterious. Bifengxia Scenic Area consists of two canyons, the left canyon is 7 kilometers long and the right canyon is 6 kilometers long, forming a V shape. It is a closed and circular scenic area.

For Sichuan people who are used to seeing mountains and rivers, the scenery here is actually average, but it is still very good for escaping the summer heat and cleansing the lungs.

It's almost like climbing up and down the mountain.

I went there a little late with my colleagues. We went to the scenic spot and followed the navigation to drive to the visitor center of Bifengxia Scenic Area. Then we had to take the scenic bus to the scenic spot. There were still four or five kilometers to the real scenic spot. We were originally preparing to take a unified scenic bus. A local stopped us and said that the ticket was 100 yuan. If we didn't visit the pandas, he could take us to buy a ticket for 65 yuan per person and give him 50 yuan for the guide fee (we had two cars, one for 30 yuan, and we bargained with him for a total of 50 yuan). Because it was already two o'clock, we simply didn't want to see the pandas and agreed to him. He drove in front and we followed behind, and then came to what should be the back door. Then he took us to buy tickets and went in (it should be the back door of Zuofeng). The scenery is really beautiful, and there is plenty of oxygen. We took a lot of photos. Just like other reviews, there is a small waterfall a few steps away. It was still drizzling (you must bring a raincoat or something, Ya'an is a rainy city, it will rain for a while and stop for a while). I have a better physique and didn't wear or hold an umbrella. I felt the graceful feeling of climbing in the rain throughout the whole process. There were not many people when we went there. It took us three hours to walk to the bottom of the super high elevator, then we took the elevator up and called the local to pick us up.

A good place to escape the heat and relax in summer! You can climb mountains and breathe fresh air. You can also enjoy the overall!

I just went to Bifengxia for two days during the May Day holiday. It was not as bad as some netizens said. The giant pandas there were cute, the scenery was beautiful, the air was fresh, the environment was clean and hygienic, and the farmhouse hotel was comfortable. The ticket is worth it. I bought the scenic area, which includes the pandas and the scenery. There are about 30 pandas, the scenery is quiet, there is a stream every five steps, a pond every ten steps, it is winding, the waterfall is very beautiful, and there is little human intervention and commercial activities. Forgive the poor image quality.

As a Ya'an resident, this was my first time there. Overall, it was okay. If you haven't been there, you can still go and have a look.

Bifeng Gorge is very beautiful for northerners, but southerners have seen too many mountains and rivers like this. It was my first time there, so I was amazed. It was cool inside the canyon, and you could play in the water. The water was very clear.

I personally think it is a very good place. We did not go to the wildlife park inside, but only went to the scenic area and the panda protection base. If we only go to these two places, we should take at least a whole day to visit. The Bifengxia Scenic Area is divided into two parts: the left peak and the right peak. The canyon of the left peak is 7 kilometers long and takes about 3 hours to visit. It is the location of the main attractions. The right peak has fewer attractions and takes less than two hours. I heard that the panda base closes at 5 pm, and we only have half a day to visit, so we decided to visit the right peak only. It is a pity that we did not go to the left peak, and we did not see many attractions.

After buying the ticket, you enter the scenic area. Generally, you first take a 99-meter-high huge elevator down to the bottom of the valley. Not far away, you can see the fork in the road between the left and right peaks. If you visit the left peak, you will walk 7 kilometers of mountain roads to reach the panda base. After the tour, take the scenic area's sightseeing bus to the exit; if you visit the right peak, you can visit the foot of Bifeng Temple Mountain, take the scenic area's sightseeing bus to the panda base, and take the bus to the exit after the tour.

First take the elevator down to the valley floor.

After turning to the right peak, keep walking along the plank road. It is no exaggeration to say that there is a pool every three steps and a waterfall every five steps, with abundant water. There are many beautiful waterfalls along the way.

It took me more than an hour to visit the Right Peak. I originally wanted to go up the mountain to Bifeng Temple, but the nearly two-kilometer mountain road up and down made me give up the idea and take the sightseeing bus directly to the panda base.

Conclusion first: It's great and worth a visit.



Our schedule was relatively relaxed. We departed from Chengdu at noon on the first day to rest in Shangli Ancient Town. We strolled around in the evening. The riverside dinner was very comfortable and lively. On the second day, remember to go to the panda base in the morning because the pandas rest in the afternoon. Pandas are very cute and close to people if you are lucky. One to two hours is enough to visit the panda base. After that, you can walk to the entrance of the scenic area.



After entering the entrance, the route of the scenic area is a circular one-way road that goes down first and then up. From beginning to end, there are many river valley water and stone landscapes, which are beautiful and magnificent. There are several places where you can play in the water and take pictures, and the children are very happy. There are many food stations along the way, and roasted potatoes, sausages, etc. are also very cheap.



In terms of time and physical fitness, it takes about 3 hours in total. The slope is not very steep and the elderly can also walk. If you really can't do it in the later part, you can ask a slider master to lift you on the way. It will be about 240 from the halfway point. We also asked a master to lift the elderly and children. Seeing that the master was really hard, he was sweating and gave more. In addition, at the end of the journey, there is an elevator to transport people to the entrance, but there are too many people on holidays and they have to queue for an hour, so most people will choose to take the evacuation stairs next to the elevator, which is equivalent to the height of a 28-story residential building. It takes about 10 minutes to walk and 20 minutes to walk slowly. Of course, there is no way to hire a slider for this section.



The Wildlife Park and Night Zoo are both good, but we didn't have time, so we decided to go there. If we really wanted to go, we would need another day. On the way, we passed the city of Ya'an, which was also very peaceful, a small town along the river.



All in all we loved this place.

The scenery of Bifengxia is beautiful and the air is fresh! It is suitable for summer vacation.

The ticket for the Panda Base and Bifeng Gorge is the same. After exiting the Panda Base, turn left and walk along the waiting corridor to reach the west gate of Bifeng Gorge. Bifeng Gorge is actually a canyon with lush green mountains on both sides, mountain streams and waterfalls, such as the Tear Drop Waterfall, the Thousand Layer Rock Waterfall, and the Qiang People's Hanging Coffins.

It often rains at night and is sunny during the day in Bifengxia. Maybe that's why the dahlias here grow so beautifully. The local ladies weave dahlia straw hats into hats and sell them, which is a local feature.

Ya'an is the place where the world's first giant panda was discovered and named.

Bifengxia Giant Panda Base: After the Wolong Base was destroyed after the May 12 earthquake, many pandas were relocated to Bifengxia. However, there are less than ten pandas available for visitors to see, and many of them are probably being trained to survive in the wild.



Bifengxia itself is also a scenic spot. It is very cool in summer, especially after days of heavy rain, when various large and small waterfalls are filled with water.

The Bifengxia Scenic Area is very large, mainly divided into the zoo, the panda house, the Bifengxia Canyon, and the remaining large tracts of mountains and farmhouses scattered in the scenic area. Bifengxia is the back garden of Chengdu and a good place for Chengdu people to escape the summer heat. As soon as we arrived at the parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area, we were frightened by the swarm of farmhouse owners. Due to the rain, there were not many tourists, but there were many farmhouse owners in the scenic area, and our one car was not enough for them to besiege. Then I learned from the farmhouse owner that if you are brought into the scenic area by the farmhouse owner, you don’t need to buy tickets, of course you can’t see pandas and canyons, you can see other free places, or just walk around and relax and wash your lungs.

In Bifengxia Scenic Area, you can breathe the mellow air brewed by the mountains and valleys, find the relics of the sky-patching that have existed for ages, and the legends of love and beauty that have happened here. It is like an ethereal hazy poem and an elegant ink painting, waiting for you to taste and appreciate. Bifengxia is located on the southwest edge of the Sichuan Basin, with a mild climate, no severe cold in winter and no scorching heat in summer. Walking slowly among the green mountains and beautiful waters of Bifengxia, breathing the spiritual air of the thousand-year-old tea garden of Mengding Mountain, you can sigh at the beauty of nature.

Bifengxia is divided into two areas: the scenic area and the wildlife park, and tickets are sold separately.

The scenic area is composed of two canyons in a V shape. We went up from the right side, took the scenic area shuttle bus to the panda base, and then walked back to the left canyon. The panda reserve is inside the scenic area. It is worth recommending if you want to see pandas. The pandas inside live in single-family villas on independent hills. Friends who have visited them all sighed, "If you practice well in this life, you can be reborn as a panda in the next life and live in a villa without having to pay for it yourself"...

There are many waterfalls in the scenic area, which is very cool. It is still beautiful to see it in the rainy season. The best thing is that the scenic area is at the bottom of the valley. The road is basically flat, and there are few hills that need to be climbed up and down. The whole journey is not very far. You can walk slowly for 5-6 hours to complete the tour. It is very suitable for the elderly. You need to take an elevator to go in and out, which is 88 meters. There is a safety staircase next to the elevator. We joked about whether we should climb the stairs when we come back. As a result, we took the elevator and found that the staircase door was locked... Fortunately, we didn't climb it, otherwise it would be a tragic story.

The wildlife park is divided into the wild animal area and the general animal area. The wild animal area is on the outside, so you usually go in by car and walk after passing the wild animal area. There are quite a lot of animals in it, such as red pandas, lemurs, and mandrills. The non-dangerous animals are generally free-range and can be approached up close, such as mythical beasts and sika deer. It is not bad to take children there. There are also animal performances and an oceanarium. If the time is right, you can see performances of elephants and dolphins.

However, one day is definitely not enough to visit both places. You need one day to visit the scenic area and one day to visit the zoo. There are many accommodations near the scenic area, so it is not a problem.

The temperature in Bifengxia is relatively low in winter, so you should remember to bring warm clothes, hot water bottles, heat packs, gloves, etc. when going to this project.

When it snows in Bifengxia, you should avoid having your SLR or mirrorless camera lens damaged by snowflakes to prevent camera malfunction or degradation of photo quality.

Since the project includes cleaning the panda enclosure, you can bring shoelaces in advance to avoid your shoes getting wet.

Bifeng Gorge doesn't actually have any outstanding landscapes, but the greenness of the valley is still very comfortable, and it's a good place for an outing. You can spend more than two hours in the canyon, and there are snacks along the way, so you can stop and walk.

Walking along the route, my feet are really tired, as if I went down the mountain to the basin, and then had to climb up and come back, especially the last Qingyun Ladder (if I remember the name correctly), which is the despair of climbing to the sky. There is also a steep ladder on the way, but fortunately I can enjoy the mountain waterfall to distract myself. There are actually no big scenic spots on the way, and the green vegetation is quite lush. The Dragon and Phoenix Bridge is still suitable for taking pictures. The hanging coffins were what I was most looking forward to. I thought they were very close, but they were far away on the opposite mountain, so I couldn't see clearly. Anyway, it's still worth a visit.

National 4A scenic spot

The scenic area includes Huanglong Gorge, Tianxian Bridge, natural bonsai, Qiancengyan Waterfall, Bailongtan Waterfall, Nuwa Pool, Dripping Plank Road, Yanu Garden and many other attractions.

A bowl of ordinary noodles costs 18 yuan, an ordinary set meal costs 30 yuan, and a bottle of Yibao costs 4 yuan. I understand that scenic spots are generally expensive, but this is outrageously expensive.

The natural scenery of Bifengxia is definitely amazing. The panda kindergarten is worth visiting. The little pandas in the kindergarten are very cute and clean.

There are many beautiful waterfalls in the scenic area! You can also see giant and red pandas up close. There is a risk of landslides during the rainy season, so be careful when you go there!

I personally recommend going to the zoo if you have children. If you don't have children, there is no need to go to the zoo. I recommend visiting the botanical garden.

Ya'an, the Rain City, has always been famous for its leisurely life. When I came here, I saw the beautiful Rainbow Bridge and the relaxed pace of life of the people here, and I couldn't help but envy them. Bifengxia should be a good attraction, with mountains, rivers, customs, and everything else. Next to it is the giant panda base. Going to see those dirty and cute guys will make you feel very comfortable...

Bifengxia is a canyon with many waterfalls, especially small waterfalls. We didn't go to the zoo. We walked for 6 hours. There were ways up and down the mountain. Because it was a canyon, we could only walk. There were sedan chairs in the scenic area, but we didn't feel like sitting on them. Some old people and children who couldn't walk sat on the sedan chairs. The canyon was very quiet, but it was mid-July after all, and it was still quite hot from walking all the time. The vegetation was dense and there was no sun, but we were still sweating from walking.

I only went to the zoo, not the scenic area. The zoo is very good if you bring children. You can get close to the animals. There are also three animal shows. The time link is very good. The facilities on the mountain are complete. Although the prices in the scenic area are high, they are acceptable. I don’t know if it’s because of the expensive transportation. It takes about 3-4 hours to see the animals and the show. I took the free sightseeing bus, not the feeding bus (I think it’s 50). In fact, they are the same, except that you can’t feed them. There are only 3 areas for wild animals, and the rest are on their own.

Some parts of the Bifengxia Scenic Area are still under construction. Due to land conditions, migrant workers have to transport concrete in backpacks, and each basket is estimated to weigh 70-80 kilograms.

It should be said that it is ok. There is a panda base to visit and the zoo is opposite the scenic area.

The zoo is very suitable for taking children to visit. Elderly people with mobility problems should not go there. Only the first half of the journey can be taken by car, and the rest is on foot, and it is not safe to go up and down the slopes.

The scenery is not as beautiful as Mount Qingcheng or as magnificent as Mount Emei, but the small scenes are still beautiful. The little panda is so cute.

Bifengxia is trying to create a 5A scenic spot, which means that the ticket price will increase again. The scenic spot is not outstanding in beauty, but too quiet, which makes people compare it with the Qingcheng Mountain next door. Apart from the pandas, there are really not many special features. Improving the service of the scenic spot is also the key.

There is a direct bus from Ya'an Ximen Station. There is a wild panda base in the scenic area, and the waterfalls are particularly beautiful.

Exit the highway from Ya'an North and drive 14 kilometers to arrive, but the price is slightly higher, the ticket price is 118 yuan per person.

Overall, I was quite disappointed with Bifengxia. First, the scenery was far from what I had expected. Second, some Chinese people still litter, which affected their mood. Third, such a well-known scenic spot with so many visitors still had poor facilities and planning. They charged for anything they didn’t agree with. This is the characteristic of our scenic spot. Don’t just think about making money, think more about the travel experience! However, I was lucky enough to see pandas climbing trees. They looked very cute, although I have been to the panda base in Chengdu. In a word, I have been here once and will not go again.

Many people have written about Bifeng Gorge, so I will not go into details. I did discover rafting at the gorge unexpectedly. There have been a lot of rafting activities in the river recently, but this one is really dangerous. It is as exciting as a roller coaster and you can enjoy the coolness of summer. I witnessed two boat capsizing with my own eyes. It is very suitable for friends who love adventure. There are one or two escorts at each rafting point, so there is no problem with safety. As for going as a family, you have to consult first. Anyway, I saw parents taking their children rafting. The ticket price is 190 yuan. It is recommended to go on weekdays. There are many people on weekends. There is only one river channel at the starting point for rafting, so the experience is a little worse. Finally, remember to bring a pair of shoes, flat shoes will do. You cannot wear slippers or raft barefoot. Oh, there is also aerial rafting, but I haven't tried it. Friends who have tried it can share it.

The air is fresh and cool, but it lacks some features.

At this time, there are two choices, one person adds 50 to take the feeding car, and no extra money to take the ordinary car. The route of the two cars is the same, both pass through the middle of the beast area. At this time, if you ask the staff, he will tell you that the ordinary sightseeing car passes by the beast area, which is very far away! I was played as an idiot again! It's the same route! It's just whether to feed, and the beasts are divided into three sections, each section is only 50 to 100 meters away, and one person can feed the animals twice in each stage. I personally think it's not worth it, and I was played as an idiot by the local staff, and the experience was very poor!

I personally think the biggest gain of this trip was seeing Yu Quan and taking a photo with them.

The air in the scenic area is so good, it is simply a natural oxygen bar. It would be a shame to not keep the area clean. The toilets are clean and odorless, and the vegetation is well maintained. I will go there again if I have the chance.

There is a sightseeing bus at the entrance of the scenic area that can directly take you to the giant panda base. The base is free. If you want to take an electric car, you need to pay extra. If you don't take an electric car, the scenic area also has an elevator that takes you directly to the bottom of the mountain and you can visit freely. There are many waterfalls in the scenic area, and there is a relatively large waterfall that is steeper. There are many souvenirs at the entrance of the scenic area, and there are also small vendors setting up stalls in the scenic area. There are the most giant panda stuffed toys, and you can buy one as a souvenir. There is a wildlife park in the scenic area that requires a separate ticket, which is about 150. We didn't go in because of time. Bifengxia is generally a circular route. You won’t go wrong if you walk in one direction. If you get tired along the way, you can take a bus back to the entrance of the scenic area at the bus stop.

A good place for leisure travel with beautiful mountains and waters. You won't feel tired even if you walk slowly with the elderly and children. The mountain is surrounded by green vegetation. When you are close to the gate, you will take the elevator built along the mountain to the gate. If you are tired, you can also take the bus back to the entrance of the scenic spot at the bus stop. There is also a wildlife park in the park. The ticket price is 150 yuan per person, and you need to buy a separate ticket. Note that the scenic spot cannot be entered after 4 o'clock. In addition, Ya'an is relatively small. There is only one mountain road from the city to Bifengxia. Although there are no tour groups on holidays, the mountain road is also difficult to walk. It usually takes 20 minutes to get to Bifengxia. It is not uncommon to drive for 3 hours at that time. Don't rush to the 11th. This is our lesson.

Although it was a bit tiring to walk through the left and right canyons, it was worth it to see such a beautiful scenery.

The pandas are located in the botanical garden area. We went to Bifengxia at the end of August. At that time, Tongcheng was holding an event, and we only spent two yuan to get the two scenic spots. It was very cost-effective, but it was a bit troublesome to queue up for tickets. We arrived at Bifengxia at noon that day and visited the wildlife park in the afternoon. Ya'an Wildlife Park is really fun. When we entered the scenic area, we took a tour bus that was a bit like a bus. We could see tigers, leopards and other ferocious animals. It took about a few minutes to see them, and then the tourists got off the bus and moved around freely. After getting off the bus, the first thing we saw was the grass mud horse, which was free-range and had zero contact with people. It was very good. Many harmless animals were free-range, which looked very convenient. Unlike the zoo, which could only be viewed from a distance, there were also animal acrobatic performances, which were very interesting. We could finish watching the zoo in one afternoon. At night, we stayed in the scenic area. There were many places to stay inside, and the price was not expensive. It was very convenient to continue playing the next day. The next day, we went to Bifengxia and went to pick up tickets early in the morning, but there were a lot of people. The scenery of Bifengxia is particularly good. There are snacks such as tea and sausages along the way. The further you go inside, the higher the price. The ones outside are not expensive. There are many waterfalls in Bifeng Gorge, each of which is very beautiful in its own way. One of the waterfalls is particularly large, and the stairs going down are very steep and quite scary. There are also slides you can sit on, which are only a few dozen yuan, not expensive, but it looks very tiring to see people carrying them. Bifeng Gorge is quite long, and it takes about 3 hours to complete the walk. It was quite comfortable to take pictures while walking along the way.

In Bifeng Gorge, you can breathe the mellow air brewed by the mountains and valleys, find the ancient ruins of the sky repair and the beautiful legends that happened here. The scenery along the way is beautiful, with waterfalls one after another. All the way to Bifeng Temple,

The main landscape in the canyon is a series of waterfalls and streams. Unlike the ice and snow under the blue sky of Hailuogou, here it is full of lush greenery in the mist and rain.

Listen to the gurgling water and the whispering bamboos, the chirping of cicadas in the forest, the singing of birds in the mountains, as if you have entered a fairyland.

In general, the scenery of Bifeng Gorge is so-so. Compared with Hailuogou, it has few characteristics, the mountains are not as good as Wulong Ground Crack, the water is not as good as Yibin Xiaozhuhai Bowang Mountain, and it does not have the elegance of Longshui Gorge Ground Crack and the magnificence of Hailuogou.

Although the scenery of Bifeng Gorge is average, it is rich in negative oxygen ions. In addition, there is an elevator that is said to be the fastest and highest in the world. It is very nice to walk in the canyon. You must go to the Panda Base to see it. There are many cute pandas! Especially the red pandas!

I went there a few days ago. The scenic area was still cool, but there was not much to see except playing in the water.
