However, I found that several horse riders couldn't reach the top at all. I think it's because the road after getting off the horse is very difficult all of a sudden, and the altitude is also high. It should be that they can't adapt to it all of a sudden. Although hiking is very tiring, I think it is an experience and challenge in life. Although it's hard, I can slowly adapt to walking on the plateau. I think we are relatively fast. It took 5 hours to go back and forth. After going down the mountain, I was really very tired and wanted to lie on the ground and not move, but I am very proud that I walked down. Many people didn't insist on going up, for various reasons. It is also very important to do what you can in the plateau area. If you really can't insist, don't force it. I suggest you go to the Five-Color Lake first. There is a very strenuous uphill road to the Five-Color Lake, but it is always more comfortable to go up than down, so it is a wise choice to go to the Five-Color Lake first, and then go to the Milk Lake, so that the way back is very comfortable. Because I got up late that day, I was really in a hurry. I suggest you take the long route to the Milk Lake scenic area and come in as soon as it opens in the morning, so that you will have a more comfortable time. There are not many people coming here in winter, and most of them just take a photo at Luolong Cow Farm and go back. The few people who climb up may not write travel notes. So before I saw it with my own eyes, I was worried that the scenery here would not meet my expectations. These photos can be regarded as filling the gap on the website, letting tourists know that as long as the weather is good, it is worth coming here in winter.

Standing by the Milk Sea, the first feeling was cold! Very cold! Chilly cold! The wind was very strong by the Milk Sea, and my tears and snot were all over the place. On the way, I met all kinds of people, including friends who chanted scriptures and circumambulated the mountain to pray, workers who carried wood and repaired roads, and outdoor enthusiasts who used their cameras to capture the magnificent scenery. The most common phrase we said when we met was "Tashi Delek". In this place where it is difficult to breathe, saying "Tashi Delek" not only blesses the other person but also encourages myself. This phrase, sent out with a smile, expresses the greatest goodwill and blessings in Tibet.

The Milk Sea, 500 meters away from the Five-Colored Sea, still shows its graceful figure on the top of this cold mountain, just like Chang'e in the Moon Palace. After more than two hours of trekking, we finally arrived at the Milk Sea. The holy mountain and holy lake were right in front of us. Standing on the plateau at an altitude of 4,800 meters, the snow-capped mountains, blue sky, and green water brought a close-up visual impact, pure, quiet, ethereal, and clear, which directly hit the soul. At that moment, looking up at the blue sky, the world became quiet, heaven, man, and earth merged into one, and everything was so simple, pure, and beautiful...

The last piece of pure land on the aquamarine planet! From a distance, the blue sky and white clouds surround the white snow-capped mountains, giving birth to a crystal gem! It is so clean and pure without any impurities, everything seems so unreal. I finally understand why so many people must come here. Even if their bodies are in hell, they want to feel the visual sense of heaven with their eyes. It's so tiring, but it's worth it!

When we walked to the Milk Sea, all the dullness disappeared in an instant.

The last piece of pure land on the blue planet finally appeared before our eyes. The quiet lake was crystal blue. The snow-capped mountains beside it embraced the lake, like a blue cocktail in a porcelain cup. Although there was insufficient sunlight, it did not affect the beauty of the Milky Way at all. All words were redundant. I just wanted to sit quietly by the lake and appreciate the beautiful scenery in front of me.

Fortunately, when we reached the Milk Sea, the eastern peak, Xianuoduoji, also showed up, looking particularly majestic under the sunlight.

Accompanied by the melting snow and the rugged mountain road, we really kept our feet on the ground and moved forward step by step. When we saw a little blue in the distance, we were already very excited and wanted to run to it immediately to appreciate the mystery.

What makes her stunning is the sharp contrast between her and the desolate surroundings. Moreover, she is so petite, which makes her look stronger and untainted by the mud, just like a Crescent Spring in Mingsha Mountain.

Before I came here, I heard that the road to the Milk Lake is relatively primitive, and some sections even require the use of hands and feet. Because it has always been a horse trail for horse caravans, you often need to avoid the horse team on the way, and the mountain road is narrow, so it is not easy to walk at all.

The most difficult part of the road was in the middle of the mountain, where I saw the prayer flags for the first time. This road was washed by melted snow and was very steep, with a cliff on the left. It looked thrilling. I had to rely on two trekking poles and non-slip and waterproof hiking shoes to walk carefully through this road. I still remember that I wanted to finish this difficult road as soon as possible, but I happened to meet a group of horse caravans coming down the mountain, so I had to hide on the side of the mountain and let them pass. Even well-trained horses would slip a few times on this road, so you can understand how thrilling it is.

As the altitude increases, you can clearly feel the symptoms of hypoxia, your breathing becomes heavier and your heartbeat becomes faster. Basically, every time you pass a flat intersection, you will take a break and drink some hot water. The sun gradually rises to the top of the mountain, and the sunlight becomes particularly dazzling. At this time, you must wear sunglasses to prevent the strong light reflected from the snow-capped mountains from hurting your eyes.

Along the way, we often encountered some weak hikers who took out their oxygen cylinders and started breathing oxygen.

If you feel unwell at this time and still don't feel better after taking oxygen, it is recommended to give up climbing to the summit. You will gradually get better as you go down the mountain. When hiking at high altitudes, you can't be too stubborn. If you have severe altitude sickness, it is very dangerous.

Walking on the road to the Milky Way, I felt that my body was in hell, but my eyes were in heaven. The most beautiful scenery was on the road. Snow-capped mountains surrounded me along the way, and prayer flags were flying.

It was already noon when I arrived at the Milky Way Lake. I took off my sunglasses and looked at this legendary blue lake. My mind went blank. I thought I would be very excited, but I wasn't.

I think it was more of a matter of not believing such a beautiful view. It was like seeing a mirage. You know, the existence of the Milky Sea in the bare valley is so abrupt, it feels like it was painted on, as if it disappeared if you rub your eyes. Maybe it was because of the lack of oxygen on the plateau, even the brain cells were dull. There was no obvious joy or excitement, I just silently took a picture of this lake with blue light in the sun, it was so beautiful that it broke my heart.

I looked back at the Milky Sea and saw a stunning scene.

A word flashed through my mind: lovers' tears.

It seems that only by climbing to a higher place can you enjoy the panoramic view of the Milk Sea. And this road is the road leading to the Five-Colored Sea.

The Milk Lake and the Five-Colored Lake are 300 meters apart. Just a reminder, go to the Milk Lake first and then the Five-Colored Lake. If you go the other way, you may not be able to go back. It's a tortuous way to get into the scenic area... It takes a bus, a sightseeing car, and a deadly five-kilometer walk to get into the scenic area.

At your feet is the plank road beside the Five-Colored Sea. This must be the best place to take pictures of the Milk Sea.

The Milk Sea is full of waves, which are accompanied by jumping waves. Although it is also very beautiful, it is not as stunning as when you look at it from the mountain. You can walk around the lake here, but the road is not easy to walk on and you have to wade through the mud.

I suggest going hiking as early as possible. You don't need to ride a horse. I personally think 300 yuan is quite expensive, and you can't even ride a horse on the most difficult route. The altitude is slightly high, the climate is changeable, and there is no food on the mountain. At noon, it was sunny and rainy, and the temperature difference was quite large. We started to go up at about 8 o'clock and came down at noon. We saw many people eating instant hot pot rice on the stairs. There was garbage everywhere. Some people complained that the horses of the caravan defecated on the road, which was dirty and disgusting in the rain. Can't we see that on a mountain with such a high altitude, the garbage is carried down by humans? Moreover, the shit pulled by horses is also nutrients when it is brought up the mountain. Artificial chemical garbage cannot be naturally decomposed and will always exist. Anyway, it's very angry to see it. I won't say much. Anyway, I throw away my own garbage in my backpack. I hope that all friends will pay attention to their quality when going out to play.

The Milk Sea is not as beautiful as imagined when viewed up close. If it is blue sky, it may be more beautiful. I stood by the lake for half an hour, and the sun came out for one minute. The sunlight shone on the lake, which was sparkling, and it was beautiful. The Milk Sea is a sacred existence in the minds of people who come to the Yading Scenic Area. Perhaps it is because the high altitude is difficult to challenge, or perhaps it is because the snow-capped mountains are crystal clear and beautiful. The original name of the Milk Sea is: Orongcuo. The lake is white, so it is called the Milk Sea. According to legend, it is also a holy lake that can cure deaf and dumb diseases. You can walk by the Milk Sea, but because it is a swamp, always be careful not to step into the water or slip on the mud. If you are shooting by the lake, the view from the front is already very good. After human exploration, there is not much good view when walking inside, so there is no need to try again. In my opinion, the best place to observe the Milk Sea is not to be in a daze by the lake, but on the way from the Milk Sea to the Five-Colored Sea.

The Milk Sea is located in the valley between Yangmaiyong and Xiannairi. It is a pool of blue-green water, but the shore is a circle of milky white, hence the name Milk Sea.
