Mengding Mountain is located in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. It is named after the "rain and fog". It has an annual rainfall of more than 2,000 mm and was called "Western Sichuan Leaky Sky" in ancient times. Mengding Mountain is also known as the "World Tea Culture Holy Mountain" because it is the birthplace of tea.
Mengding Mountain is most suitable for tea growth due to its altitude, soil and climate. As early as 2,000 years ago in the Western Han Dynasty, Wu Lizhen, the founder of Mengding Mountain tea, began to domesticate and plant wild tea trees on Mengding Mountain, starting the history of artificial tea cultivation. The Tang and Song dynasties were the heyday of Mengshan tea. It was listed as a tribute in the first year of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (724 AD) as a special product for the emperor to worship the heavens and the earth and ancestors. It has been passed down to the Qing Dynasty, for more than 1,200 years without interruption.
The scenic area is composed of two main scenic areas, Mengshan and Baizhang Lake, and is one of the first provincial scenic spots in Sichuan.
The foothills of Mengding Mountain have a rich western Sichuan countryside scenery, with lush forests and bamboos, bridges and flowing water, and farmhouses. From the middle mountain area with an altitude of about 80-1000 meters, from west to east, there are tea gardens, piled up with green, surging green waves, green and pleasant, and spectacular.
The existing ancient temples such as Yongxing Temple, Tiangai Temple, Qianfo Temple, and Jingju Temple are located in the tea gardens, surrounded by green mist and lush forests, with red walls and Buddhist temples, which add to the interest. Above Zhongshan is a forest zone. It is covered with trees and stretches to the entire back mountain. This is an evergreen coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest belt, which is lush all year round and even more beautiful in spring and summer. The ancient ginkgo trees on the main peak Mengding are more than a thousand years old, tall and straight, like a green cover in spring and summer, and like golden clouds in autumn. They can be seen for ten miles, which is very strange. There is a saying that "Ya'an is rainy, and Mengshan is the center" on Mengding Mountain. There are many clouds and fogs due to heavy rain. In spring, summer and autumn, looking down from the top of the mountain, clouds and fog float between the mountains and gullies, and the hills are exposed, just like fairy mountains and pavilions. Looking up from the bottom of the mountain in winter, ice silk and snow hang, and the hills are surrounded by clouds, which is both real and illusory. At sunrise, golden light is diffused and red clouds float. The hills are like phoenixes bathing in the rising sun. In the evening, the lights of the two cities of Mingshan and Ya'an are like stars falling to the ground, and the scene is magnificent.

I had never heard of the Mengding Mountain Scenic Area before. I felt that it was not very famous and did not have great expectations for the scenic area. However, by chance, I visited Mengding Mountain and it exceeded my expectations. Mengding Mountain is not very high. If you drive, you can drive directly to the entrance of the scenic area. There is a sightseeing cable car from the entrance, and you can go up the mountain in a few minutes. If you like mountain climbing, you can climb the mountain to Tiangai Temple from the walking ladder. The weather is very cool up there. It is very cool in summer. There is also a teahouse on it. You can drink tea and cool down on it. The tea is made from spring water on the mountain and tastes good. You can also watch the 18-style performance of Longxing. The tea artist is super awesome. There is also a suspension bridge next to Tiangai Temple, which is suitable for taking pictures. I feel that many tourists don’t know that there is a suspension bridge. Going up, there is also a canopy walk, which feels a bit exciting! There are many farmhouses on the mountain road to Mengding Mountain. The taste is very authentic and the taste is very good.
The Mengding Mountain Scenic Area is located in Mingshan District of Ya'an City. It has distinct four seasons. The natural and cultural landscapes created by nature and history blend together and are extremely attractive. The former Linqiong Ancient Road and the Southern Silk Road connect Mengding Mountain, Bifeng Gorge with Gongga Mountain, Hailuogou, Luding Bridge, Paomashan, Xichang Qionghai and other tourist attractions into another golden tourist hotline.
Mengding Mountain in Ya'an, Sichuan, is different in spring, summer, autumn and winter. In spring, you can smell its fragrance, in summer, you can feel its coolness, in autumn, you can see its scenery, and in winter, you can enjoy its snow. There is an ancient saying that "Mengding has the best view in the world, Mengding is the coolest in the world in summer, Mengding's famous tea is known throughout the world, Mengding's Buddhist scriptures are spread throughout the world, and Mengding repairs the sky and covers the world"!
On weekends, say goodbye to the city and go to Mengding Mountain to enjoy the coolness of 23℃ in summer. Mengding Mountain, which is famous for its tea, is less than two hours away from Chengdu. It is a summer resort and also a Mengding tea mountain. There are sea of clouds and sunset, cicadas and birds singing. When you are tired, you can sit under the thousand-year-old ginkgo tree and drink a cup of "fairy tea" and taste tea fruit. At night, you can also stay in a camping viewing tent at the foot of the mountain, take your family and friends to watch the stars and the sunrise and spend a pleasant journey. Wandering in the wonderful sea of tea, feel the tea fragrance within reach, the tea trees all over the mountain occupy the entire hillside, and the green color with appropriate shades makes people happy! Suggestion: Be sure to practice it yourself when you come here. Believe me, it won't take a few minutes for you to immerse yourself in the satisfaction of picking tea.
Mengding Mountain is the birthplace of tea culture. It has a pleasant climate and is suitable for summer vacation. There are luxury hotels on the mountain with very good accommodation conditions. The mountain restaurants are cost-effective and have unique food flavors suitable for all ages. There are many temples on the mountain, which complement the scenery on the mountain. The silver letter tree on the top of the mountain is very beautiful in autumn, suitable for the whole family to visit. In winter, there is snow on the top of the mountain, and the scenery is beautiful. Friends who like snow scenery can come and see it more.
Mengding Mountain is located in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. Mengding Mountain is surrounded by five peaks, shaped like a lotus. The highest peak, Shangqing Peak, is 1,456 meters above sea level. It is located in Mingshan District, 110 kilometers away from Chengdu and 15 kilometers away from Ya'an City. National Highway 318 runs through the scenic area, and the two ramps of Chengdu-Ya'an Expressway are directly connected to Mengshan Mountain and Baizhang Lake, making transportation very convenient.
From the top of Mount Meng, you can see the Emei Mountain, Wawu Mountain, and Zhougong Mountain. Looking east, you can see the flat fields, undulating mountains, and crisscrossing streams, creating a picturesque scenery. The existing ancient temples such as Yongxing Temple, Qianfo Temple, and Jingju Temple are located in the tea garden.
In the parking lot, you can see a huge teapot and teacup placed on the opposite ridge from a distance. Mengding Royal Tea is the real intention of its promotion. You can walk up the mountain or take a cable car, and take the cable car to go directly to the temple.
Looking down from mid-air, you can see layers of tea gardens built along the mountainside. There are many signs in the gardens. These may be the tea gardens contracted by many government agencies and enterprises in Chengdu and are managed by others.
When we arrived at the temple, my third brother accompanied my mother to rest on a bench in the temple, while I walked through the temple and headed straight to the top of the mountain.
There are forests all along the way, the air is fresh, the mountains are green, and there are laughter all the way.
On the way, we came across tall wild tea trees with gorgeous camellia flowers blooming among the branches and leaves. It was my first time seeing such a thing and it was an eye-opener.
The so-called Royal Tea Garden is just a tea garden the size of a small vegetable garden surrounded by a low wall on the edge of the cliff. It is now only symbolic. Climbing to the top of the mountain, you can see a small temple that has been in disrepair for many years and is in a dilapidated state. A statue of Dayu stands in front of the small temple, and a tall dead tree trunk on one side still stands there, majestic and solemn.
Taking the cable car back to the middle of the mountain, I saw trees decorated with small lanterns, which was very interesting. This should be a unique decorative art in China. Mengding Mountain used to be a royal tea garden, but now it has become a good place for ordinary people to travel, relax, watch tea and buy tea. Since Mengding's tea is so famous, how can I return empty-handed when I come to Mengding Mountain? I plan to buy some green tea to take back. Tea in the tourist area cannot be bought because it is too expensive. When I went up the mountain, I saw that the surrounding slopes were all tea gardens. There were many tea factories in the mountain villages beside the road. When I went down the mountain, I asked all the way and compared prices. I was interested in a green tea, but the price could not be negotiated, so I continued to look for it down the mountain. I didn't know that the price was getting higher and higher. I had no choice but to drive up the mountain again, return to the tea factory I had originally liked, and bargained again. I bought 6 kilograms at a price of 90 yuan/kilogram, which was not in vain.
For tourists who are eager to visit the scenery, Mount Mengding is not a very appropriate choice, but the snow in winter is still beautiful, the air environment on the mountain is very good, and early spring is also suitable for hiking. There should be places suitable for sightseeing in other seasons. A round trip in the Greater Chengdu area in one day is also a good place for weekend leisure. For tourists who like to drink tea or want to experience tea picking, just come, it's that direct. PS: There is a museum in the scenic area, which displays tea, tea sets, and tea rooms from various countries. The maintenance is not very good, and many tea leaves have been oxidized. As for tea sets, there are actually two chicken-glazed cups. The imitations are good for popular science, and good imitations are not cheap.
When I decided to climb Mount Mengding after the National Day, I secretly imagined that it would be more wonderful if there was a drizzle during the climb. As a result, it turned out to be what I wanted! The scenery on the mountain is pretty good. The most unique thing is that the surrounding view is very open. I walked a long circle and finally returned to the suspension bridge next to the "Tea Temple". There were no tourists. In order not to waste time, we went down the mountain at 2 o'clock. At that time, the sun came out again, but I prefer Mount Mengding after the rain in the morning. When all the ginkgo leaves turn yellow, you should see a different scenery if you live in the mountain!
When we arrived at Mount Mengding, we found out that this is the birthplace of tea culture. It was a big surprise for us. There is a tea culture museum here, which introduces in detail the types of tea and the tea culture of each dynasty. Tea trees are planted all over the mountains. You can pick some and ask the chef of the restaurant to make a dish for you. There are simple people here. Their words and deeds make you feel like you are not an outsider, but as if you are their family. I like the small city of Ya'an.
My hometown, everyone is welcome to come and visit me. Come and have tea with me
Thousand-year-old tea trees and royal tea gardens. A great place for a spring outing
Where to see ginkgo in early October? Mount Mengding is the best place to go. The twelve thousand-year-old ginkgo trees are at their best viewing period at this time. If there is sunshine, it is perfect with the red walls and black tiles. You can climb the mountain to cleanse your lungs, walk through the treetops, and buy some tea to take home.
Here, you can choose to hike up the mountain or take a small cable car in the distance. Here, you can learn about the tea-making process up close. When visiting Mount Mengding, you will not feel like you are climbing a mountain, but more like wandering in the countryside of western Sichuan, where the scenery is natural and simple.
Walking along the mountain road, you can see a tree covered with red ribbons. It is the king of tea trees and is known as the "Millennial Tea Tree King".
The sky was clear after the rain and the trees were lush and green.
To sum up, Mengding Mountain has convenient transportation, fresh air, beautiful scenery, and few tourists. It is very suitable for friends who love tea and want to understand Chinese tea culture. It is also suitable for friends who pursue leisure and comfort to bring their families here for the weekend. However, the infrastructure construction and scenic spot development of the scenic area are still relatively rough. There are basically only farmhouses to choose from for accommodation, and there are almost no mid- to high-end parent-child hotels. These are areas that need to be improved. If you have enough time, you can also visit Bifengxia and Shangli Ancient Town near Mengding Mountain together, and the experience may be better.
The air is fresh and the road is safe, so you can bring your children there.
I went there during Chinese New Year, so there weren't many people. It was a little colder on the mountain, and it only took a little over an hour to go up the mountain by cable car.
The altitude of Mount Mengding is not too high, and the road is not too steep. It is not too challenging for us young people, but it is also a workout.
Tea from the top of Mount Meng, water from the Yangtze River. Fresh air and fragrant tea
Starting from Shuangliu, via Chengya Expressway, it takes an hour and a half to reach Mengding Mountain. It is very cold in the rain on the mountain.
The next day, the sky cleared up, so we went to a tea garden to pick tea. Picking tea at the entrance of the scenic area costs 50 yuan per basket. We walked into the mountains, but no one came to collect money. It was quite relaxing.
We picked two baskets of tea and the boss processed it for us for free.
Because I booked the ticket online last night, I went directly to the ticket office to exchange the ticket and entered the scenic area. In particular, the ticket for the scenic area cannot be used to get the ticket for the canopy walk in the scenic area. The ticket for the canopy walk needs to be exchanged with the staff at the entrance of the canopy walk on the top of the mountain. You need to provide the ticket booking SMS, and you don’t need an ID card. (Yesterday, when I went to Bifengxia to pick up the online ticket, I had to provide an ID card to exchange the ticket. The ticket check in the Bifengxia scenic area also required an ID card.) It was easy to walk up the mountain. It took about an hour and a half to reach the entrance of the canopy walk on the top of the mountain. People who don’t want to hike can choose to take the scenic area cable car. The cable car needs to buy a separate ticket, but you can’t reach the top of the mountain after getting off the cable car. You still need to hike for about 40 minutes. For a mountain with an altitude of 1,500 meters, it’s simply a piece of cake. We arrived at the entrance of the canopy walk and exchanged our tickets. Someone explained the safety precautions and accompanied us. The canopy walk is really worth doing. Although it is not that high, the fun is still fresh in my memory. Most of the canopy walk is walking. There are four sliding locks in the middle. The first three are almost the same length, and the last one is the length of the first three combined. Because the safety measures are in place, there is no worry about safety issues and we just have fun. The canopy walk is about 1,200 meters. There was a five-year-old boy traveling with me and he was laughing a lot.
Went there during Qingming Festival. The mountain is just okay. Tickets are 60, cable car 30. Stayed at Yishu Hotel. The hotel is OK. There are luxury car suites. Friends who like car sex can consider staying there.
Mengding Mountain is a relatively pure tea production base. The environment is as good as that of Zhougong Mountain. You can pick tea, make tea, taste tea, stay overnight and eat. Many Chengdu people buy tea from a certain tea farmer regularly.
There is a cable car going up and down at the entrance of the scenic area. Although it is not high and the cable car is very slow, it takes a long time to sit on it, but you can overlook the tea fields below and the view is good.
The mountain is not too high, but it is very cool and quiet. The tea culture here is strong, with tea gardens, tea stalls, tea shops and teahouses everywhere. Even the air is filled with the fragrance of tea.
I drove to Mount Mengding mainly to buy tea there. There is a person in my family who knows how to appreciate tea (can I say he is a pretentious guy, I might get scolded).
It is a small mountain. There are not many tea trees on the mountain. The air is very good. It was the time when the ginkgo leaves fell on the mountain. The ground was covered with golden yellow. It was very beautiful. I went there at the right season.
I went there during the Qingming Festival, but the weather was good and I wore a skirt. Mount Mengding is not high, and there are more than half of the scenic spots. It still takes about 4 hours to climb the whole mountain. Because we had to take pictures while walking, it was a bit of a waste of time. But I feel that the scenery of Mount Mengding is slightly better than that of Bifengxia, and the entrance to Mount Mengding is cheaper, not to mention the student ticket price. Tea is mainly grown on the mountain.
In the gloomy little city of Ya'an,
There is a beautiful and spiritual Mount Mengding.
The thousand-year-old tea culture makes this mountain even more charming
The mist in the mountains seems to be traveling in the fairy palace.
Drinking tea, enjoying the view, and watching tea art, the pace of life slows down.
The heart of the Yangtze River, the tea from the top of Mount Mengding. Mount Mengding has a long history and a long-standing tea culture.
It's pretty good, especially the tea. The tea gardens along the way are super cool, the air is fresh, and it's a good place for a holiday.
Mengding Mountain is located in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. It is named after the "rain and fog". Because the annual rainfall here is more than 2,000 mm, it was called "Western Shu Leaky Sky" in ancient times. Mengding Mountain is also known as the "World Tea Culture Holy Mountain" because it is the birthplace of tea. Mengding Mountain is the most suitable mountain for the growth of tea because of its altitude, soil, and climate. Therefore, as early as more than 2,000 years ago in the Western Han Dynasty, Wu Lizhen, the ancestor of Mengding Mountain tea, began to domesticate and plant wild tea trees on Mengding Mountain, starting the history of artificial tea planting. The Tang and Song Dynasties were the heyday of Mengshan tea. It was listed as a tribute in the first year of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang's Tianbao period (724 AD) as a special product for the emperor to worship the heaven and earth and ancestors. It has been passed down to the Qing Dynasty for more than 1,200 years without interruption.
When I went there, there was a slogan outside the scenic spot saying "Work together to achieve 5A", but I inexplicably selfishly wanted this place to be quiet.
The season to go to Mengding Mountain is spring, so the new tea has just come down. We went there after Qingming Festival. There was still some fog on the mountain, and it felt like a fairyland. But overall, there are not many highlights in Mengding Mountain. We mainly come here for Mengding Mountain tea. The tea in early spring is really good. There are many places to drink tea on the mountain, but the price is very expensive, and it costs hundreds of dollars per kilogram at any time, just like drinking tea in Longjing Village. In fact, most people still can't tell the difference between good and bad. You can buy tickets for Mengding Mountain at the foot of the mountain, and the ticket checker is halfway up the mountain. There are many cherry trees on the mountain, which are all in bloom at the end of April. They are very beautiful. There are also many farmhouses on the mountain, but they don't feel very cheap. There is a cable car on the mountain, but we didn't take it. Overall, the scenery of Mengding Mountain is average, and tea is the highlight.
Mengshan Mountain lies on the northwest side of Mingshan County. It is high in the north and low in the south. It is distributed in a northeast-southwest belt and extends to Ya'an. The mountain is about 10 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide. The five peaks of Mengding are surrounded by a lotus shape, with the highest peak being Shangqing Peak. From Mengding Mountain, you can see Emei Mountain, Wawu Mountain, and Zhougong Mountain. Looking east, you can see the plains, rolling mountains, crisscrossing streams, and picturesque scenery. The existing ancient temples such as Yongxing Temple, Qianfo Temple, and Jingju Temple are located in the tea gardens, green mist and lush forests, and the red walls of the Buddhist temples add interest.
Mengding Mountain is located in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province. It is a mountain famous for its tea and the birthplace of the world's tea culture. It is very convenient to reach the scenic area. We drove there by ourselves. The transportation is very convenient. Not far after getting off the highway, you can see a large Mengding Mountain archway. Then follow the road to reach the scenic area. As soon as you enter the scenic area, you can see the large teapot "The World's No. 1 Pot" specially built for the scenic area located on the mountain. If you have enough time, there are some tea culture museums around to visit.
If you want to go up the mountain, you can choose to take the cable car or climb up by yourself. In fact, the distance to the terminal of the cable car is not far. If you have enough physical strength, it is more exciting to choose to climb the mountain. There are many large tea gardens on the mountain, which give people a very quiet and fresh feeling. On the way up the mountain, you will pass many monuments, temples, plants, etc., all of which have a history of hundreds of years. It is a good place to burn incense and worship Buddha. There is also a red cultural memorial on the mountain, which stores a lot of equipment used by the Red Army during the Long March. Those who are interested in these aspects can savor them carefully. The mountain is not high, and the scenic area is not big. It doesn’t take much time to play. We went back and forth for about four hours. If you want to stay in Mengding for a longer time, I heard that there are similar entertainment projects around that experience picking tea leaves. You can try them.
The scenic area has also set up a place on the mountainside for tourists to drink tea and relax. Unfortunately, when we went there, it was basically full of people. We originally wanted to carefully taste the representative of Mengding Mountain - Mengding Ganlu.
Mount Mengding is named after the "rain, fog and foam". It is located between Ya'an City, which is known as the "Sky Leak", and Mingshan District. I think Mengding is famous for its tea culture, and tea houses are scattered along the mountain roads. If you come here, you might as well choose autumn to feast your eyes and your taste buds!
My roommate is from Ya'an Mingshan. I finally got to see Mengding Mountain after listening to her talk about it for two years. For people from Mingshan, Mengding Mountain feels like a park. People come here to walk, run, drink tea, play cards, and it is a leisure resort in a small town. For me, the first thing to see is the famous big teapot. Tea is produced in many places in Sichuan, and this is the birthplace of tea. It is also a place with a long history. If you buy a ticket to enter the mountain, you can take the cable car if you are lazy, and then walk down after strolling around the scenic spots. The cable car is not expensive, and there are tea trees all below. What is amazing is that the tea trees are contracted by major companies one by one, and there are corporate brands established.
There are several farmhouses at the entrance of the scenic area, where you can play mahjong and drink tea, or wander around the tea garden. The daytime temperature in midsummer is 5 or 6 degrees higher than that at the foot of the mountain, and it is said to be very cool at night. You can overlook the Qingyi River from a distance.
Actually, I went to Mount Mengding with a few friends. We went up the mountain in different ways. We went up the small (tao) road (piao). That section of the mountain road was difficult to walk, but we saw the scenery that we couldn't see from the main road into the mountain. However, I still hope that everyone can travel in a safe way. We also stumbled upon it by mistake. We stayed in a homestay on the mountain. Maybe because we were students and easy to bully, the price was very expensive, but we were not very familiar with the surroundings and it was late, so we had to make do. I still recommend that you go to the main line to find folk customs, priced at 80 yuan/night. If you go to the back mountain, you can go and see the scenery of the back mountain. We found a family in the back mountain. The owner is a couple. They are old, but they run their own paradise and live a very comfortable life. I hope my comments can help you. I also hope you enjoy your journey.
I drove here after the Chinese New Year. The natural scenery is nice, but I went at the wrong time. Most of it was under renovation, it was messy, and there were not many tourists. After the renovation, it should be good to go in spring and summer. I personally think climbing the mountain is very tiring~
In the spring tea season, I originally planned to go to Mengding Mountain to pick tea, but unfortunately, I was told that I had to make an appointment in advance when I arrived, so I didn't go in the end. It's best to drive up the mountain by yourself, mainly because there are not many cars at the foot of the mountain, and it takes a long time to drive up the mountain. It's more troublesome to go up the mountain without driving. The ticket is 60 yuan, which is a bit expensive in general, mainly because the attractions on the mountain are very playable. When we went there, there were not many people, the air was good, and tea trees could be seen everywhere, which was quite interesting. Tickets can be used to taste tea for free at a tea shop on the mountain, and you can buy them if you like. In addition, there are several Longjiale restaurants on the mountain. The farmhouse dishes we ate tasted good, the ingredients were super fresh, and the price was very cheap. In addition, I remind all bees that you must pay attention to the distinction when buying tea on the mountain. If you don't know it very well, it's best not to buy tea with a higher unit price. We have tried to buy similar teas at different prices from different stores, and found that the difference is very large. If you don't know the business, you must pay attention to avoid being cheated.
There is a cable car to take, you can go there to escape the heat in summer, and there is snow in winter! Playing in the snow is great! You can buy tea cakes on it, and there is also a tea culture museum
I passed by and didn't have much impression, except that the gate was very beautiful. Because I was in a hurry to go, I went directly to Ya'an.
The old temples in Mengding Mountain, which have been in disrepair for a long time, are quietly scattered in the depths of the forest. The statues with rusty patterns sway faintly in the dim candlelight. I think they are more sacred and vicissitudes than the carefully carved and expensive statues of the jade pendant. They are either standing on the top of the mountain, overlooking all living things. Or hiding in the valley, listening attentively. Being forgotten and ignored seems to have been taken for granted for a long time. With the changes of the world and the passage of time, the only thing that has accompanied them for thousands of years, except for the lush forest, is the eternal and endless elegant rain.
The tea from Mount Mengding may be really good, but for me, the most unforgettable thing is the tea cake on the top, which is green in color and is decorated with a circle of white sesame seeds. I can't bear to spoil it when I take a sip. The fragrance of tea overflows between my lips and teeth, which is refreshing and delicious, and has an endless aftertaste.
The foothills of Mengding Mountain have a rich western Sichuan countryside scenery, with lush forests and bamboos, water bridges and flowing water, and farmhouses. Tea gardens are piled with green and green, with green waves surging, green and pleasant, and spectacular. The existing ancient temples such as Yongxing Temple, Tiangai Temple, Qianfo Temple, and Jingju Temple are located in the tea gardens and lush forests, with red walls and Buddhist buildings, which add to the interest. Above the middle mountain is a forest area. The forest covers the entire back mountain. This is an evergreen coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest belt, which is lush all year round and even more beautiful in spring and summer. The ancient ginkgo group on the main peak Mengding is more than a thousand years old, tall and straight, like a green cover in spring and summer, and like golden clouds in autumn. It can be seen for ten miles, which is very strange.
Mengding Mountain is worthy of being called the king of tea mountains. There is a Tiangai Temple on the top of the mountain, dedicated to the God of Tea. For thousands of years, people have been praying for the sweet dew and sunshine from heaven, and every year they can pay tribute to the emperor in the palace with the best tea. Today, there is still a royal tea garden on the top of Mengshan Mountain. The former royal glory has long gone with the passage of time, and even the six tea trees in the tea garden are a little lonely. There is an ancient well behind the mountain, named "Mengquan". It is said that this is where Wu Lizhen of the Western Han Dynasty planted tea and drew water. There is a well with water in it, which will not overflow in rain and will not dry up in drought; there is a cover on the well with a relief of a coiled dragon to ensure good weather and good harvest. There are several types of Mengding tea, such as tea, stone flower, sweet dew, and yellow bud. The tastes are slightly different, but Mengding Royal Tea is the most precious, and of course the price is really high. It can be said that "most people know, but few people drink it." There are several types of Mengding tea, including tea, stone flower, sweet dew, and yellow bud. The tastes are slightly different, but Mengding Royal Tea is the most precious, and of course the price is really high. It can be said that "most people know about it, but few people can drink it."
Enjoy the elegant rain, eat elegant fish and see elegant women
I came here from Chengdu early this morning. I arrived at Mingshan Station at 10:30. Unfortunately, it was raining heavily. I had to choose a place to eat and wait for the rain to stop. I searched unintentionally and ate the local specialty Ya fish, which tasted great. I took a taxi to the scenic area Mengding Mountain, about 5.6km away. I found a hotel to stay early. The rain stopped at 3 pm. I took photos on the viewing platform of the scenic area. It was surrounded by rain and fog. I felt it was worth it! Entering the scenic area and taking a tour, it was green and comfortable. I could also see the mountains to the west along the way. It was great!
The only regret is that due to the rain, the ground was too wet, so we didn't pick tea and the forest walk was not open. We just walked around and had fun, similar to the climbing fun of the back mountain of Qingcheng. It took about three and a half hours to complete the tour.
