The Yuewang Tower was first built during the Xianqing period of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty (656-661 AD). It was built by Li Zhen, the eighth son of Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, when he was the governor of Mianzhou. It is known as one of the four famous towers of the Tang Dynasty, along with the Yellow Crane Tower, the Pavilion of Prince Teng, and the Yueyang Tower.
The Yuewang Tower was damaged several times. The rebuilt Yuewang Tower is still located at the original site of Guishan Mountain, covering an area of 84.2 acres. It is 66 meters long from east to west and 88 meters wide from north to south. The main building is 99 meters high and has 15 floors. It is the largest single antique building today. Therefore, there is a saying that "Yuewang Tower is domineering, Yellow Crane Tower is majestic, Tengwang Pavilion is talented, and Yueyang Tower is elegant."

Yuewang Tower was first built during the Xianqing period of Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty and is one of the "Four Famous Towers".
I passed by in a hurry and took a photo at the door. The night view is still very good.
The night view of Yuewang Tower is described online as worth seeing, and it really lives up to its reputation. For the benefit of tourists, Yuewang Tower is open from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM. Transportation is by bus. Admission: 50 yuan, 60/69 yuan discount tickets, free admission for military personnel and people with disabilities, and free admission for those over 60 years old, except on holidays.
The biggest function of this newly built building is to let people enjoy the cityscape of Mianyang. The ticket price of 51 yuan is a bit expensive, but the main purpose of such a building is to take the elevator to see the distant view, so why not go there while you are here?
The Yuewang Tower makes Mianyang look particularly grand and classy at night!
It's finally built. I remember it was just a construction site ten years ago. I wonder when I can go back and take a look...
Although the Yuewang Tower is a contemporary replica, it has to be said that this replica is really of high quality! It looks really majestic from a distance.

Talk about the charm of Mianyang
Most of Mianyang's attractions are concentrated in other areas, and there are not many in the urban area. Yuewang Tower is the most famous one. Yuewang Tower is a reconstructed landscape. The ticket price is 45 yuan. The whole building is filled with the atmosphere of "I am very new". We just walked around the entrance.
I'm just saying, this building was built during the Tang Dynasty, and you're charging me 40 just to climb it? Why didn't the Tang Dynasty fall?
Many people think Yuewang Tower is ordinary, but as a native of Mianyang, I'm proud to have such a majestic ancient building! Among Chinese replicas of ancient architecture, Yuewang Tower is undoubtedly one of the tallest. Furthermore, its lighting is mellow and not glaring, making it a delight to the eyes. Furthermore, Yuewang Tower has a rich historical and cultural heritage, and the poet Du Fu once wrote a poem about it, "Ode to Yuewang Tower." While many of China's famous towers are modern reconstructions, Yuewang Tower is undoubtedly a masterpiece of contemporary replicas of ancient architecture!
This attraction is indeed quite ordinary, but as one of the few major attractions in Mianyang City, it is still worth a visit. It is also relatively high and you can have a good view from afar. Note: There are many steps to climb to the Yuewang Tower. If you are carrying heavy luggage, you may consider giving up.
This is a landmark building with a striking appearance. If you have enough time, you can come and see it.
The steps to the Yuewang Tower are very high, and you have to climb up to reach the entrance of the scenic area. The entrance fee is 50 yuan, but there is a special promotion now, with tickets only 20 yuan per person, and seniors over 60 years old can get free tickets. The Yuewang Tower has a total of 15 floors, and there is an elevator to the top floor.
The moment I looked out from a distance, the majestic building made my heart beat! I think it would be a fantastic idea to bungee jump on the Yuewang Building at this moment. I climbed to the top of the 15th floor and saw the scenery of the Mianyang coast. The view was wide and I was full of praise.
Mianyang's landmark building is very beautiful at night when it is illuminated together with the river bank.
The exterior is actually a reconstruction, which is quite majestic. The important things are inside, because there is a museum inside, so you need to be patient to see it.
When the lights are turned on at night, it is very beautiful. It is a landmark building in Mianyang!
It was built by Li Zhen, the eighth son of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, when he was the governor of Mianzhou.
The Yuewang Tower at night is still good, but the main problem is that the phone's pixel is not enough to capture the effect.
It's a man-made attraction, so there's not much point in going up there.
No one knows what it looked like originally. The current Yuewang Tower seemed to have been started in 2009. It was still under construction when I left Mianyang. Now it is indeed grand and magnificent with lights on at night, but it is made entirely of reinforced concrete, and I can't find that nostalgic feeling.
When I came to the outside of the Yuewang Tower and looked up at the majestic Yuewang Tower, I was really shocked. My first feeling was that it was magnificent and dazzling.
The Yuewang Tower is actually not very interesting, but the night view is good. Although it is artificially built
A landmark of Mianyang City, a well-matched antique building.
Before it was completely dark, Yuewang Tower looked like an ordinary building. But when I emerged from the restaurant after dinner, I was stunned! It was like a passerby transformed into a supermodel. Under the lights, the tower was breathtakingly beautiful. My mom said it looked like a fairyland. If that were all, I'd be a bit disappointed to pay 30 yuan for admission. But! Yuewang Tower also has a light show! All the buildings along the river are extras. I've seen beautiful night views, but this whole complex of buildings combined for a light show was the first time I'd seen it. It was beautiful! It was spectacular!
It's a very ordinary tourist attraction. I accidentally discovered Yuewang Tower when I passed by the city to have dinner after flying to Mianyang. I was very disappointed when I actually arrived at Yuewang Tower.
The entire building is a newly built cement structure. The brackets, eaves, etc. have no effort put into them. The cement was poured roughly according to the general shape.
However, the view from upstairs overlooking the confluence of the two rivers is quite nice.
It should be considered as a landmark building in Mianyang. The night view is also very beautiful.
It's totally not worth visiting; it's a scam. You can take a picture of the building from a distance and then look outside the main gate. The 30 yuan ticket only opens to the ground floor and floors 11-15. The so-called artifacts on display are all fakes. It's a rip-off. Everyone, please keep your eyes open and don't get ripped off again!!!
I just went there today, and I really don't think it's necessary to go. You can feel it better from the outside. I can't go to many floors inside, and I can only go to a few floors. And the inside is basically selling things, there is no cultural heritage at all.
The completely newly built Yuewang Tower is quite large and still under renovation when I visited. I specifically went to a teahouse to have tea and chat. The scenery outside is nice, with some things to see, and most importantly, it's quiet and peaceful. It was my first time experiencing Sichuan tea culture. I finished it with a pot of tea and added water for my own use. As expected, Sichuan tea is best paired with mahjong and cards. We seemed a bit out of place, this one, hahaha... There are some performances and some interior tours, but they don't require a ticket. Those interested can enter if they're interested, but we just took a quick look and didn't really explore...
Built in recent years, it has a charming exterior, especially when lit up at night. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of Fucheng's night scene from the rooftop.
The Yuewang Tower in Mianyang is the one with the best architectural style for me. Of course, it is a little different from the other famous towers like Tengwang Pavilion, Yueyang Tower, and Yellow Crane Tower. Although it is a newly built building, it uses modern technology and historical styles to recreate the style of a famous tower...
The Yuewang Tower is so conspicuous that even if it were to be more discreet, you couldn't ignore its presence. Standing tall like a tower, it stands out from the crowd, ablaze with lights and a dazzling golden glow. Its presence makes the other buildings seem invisible, especially when viewed from afar.
The current Yuewang Tower has been restored and rebuilt, and the lighting is more beautiful if you visit at night. You can also see the lighting project on both sides of the Fu River that introduces the history of Mianyang. In addition, there are fewer people at night, so you can stroll and see it at your leisure, but there may be no guide service, which can be a bit monotonous.
On the top floor, there is a scene similar to the emperor's chair. There are costumes that can be rented and tried out, but you need to pay. If you don't pay, you are not allowed to take pictures.
All in all, it is one of the four famous towers and is worth a visit.
China Science and Technology City - the landmark building of Mianyang
The Yuewang Tower has a beautiful lighting effect at night, and you can climb to the top to see the scenery of Mianyang during the day.
It was still under construction when I went there, so I didn't feel anything. However, the architectural style was pretty good and it was convenient to get around by car.
"Northwest Spring" Jingyou's Yuewang Tower, towering to the sky, is where the soul returns; chasing the moon with the wind, the setting sun shines; the lingering green water is even more secluded, Guishan has its own eternal charm, and the immortals have traveled through the ages. 2017.4.9. Mianyang:
One of the four famous towers in China, it also has a beautiful night view.
If only life could be like the first time we met...
The Yuewang Tower, located atop Turtle Mountain in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, was built by Li Zhen, the eighth son of Emperor Taizong of Tang, when he was serving as the governor of Mianzhou. Construction began during the Xianqing reign of Emperor Gaozong of Tang. Its grand scale and splendor, standing a hundred feet high, made it the most famous of the four famous towers of its time (Teng...
The 20 yuan ticket takes you directly to the top floor by elevator. The lower floors are used for commercial purposes. There is an introduction to Mianyang's municipal administration. Basically no one goes down to look down at the ground, so there is nothing to see.
Honestly, I don't think this attraction has much to offer. Perhaps it's because I've been to so many places and seen so many more beautiful sights, and I'm not particularly fond of cultural attractions, so I wouldn't recommend buying a ticket to visit. However, as long as you don't enter the main hall, walking around the building is free and enjoyable. I don't think buying a ticket is necessary; it depends on the individual.
Located in Mianyang City, on the Fu River, the ticket price is 20 yuan. Take the elevator to the top floor to see the panoramic view of Mianyang, which contains many precious historical pictures.
A must-see scenery in Mianyang, located on the banks of the Fu River. It is very beautiful when the lights are on at night. Although it is under renovation, it is still worth a visit.
Located near the Dongfanghong Bridge in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, Yuewang Tower was originally built in the Tang Dynasty, destroyed in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, and rebuilt in 2001. It is one of the four famous towers of ancient China (along with the Yellow Crane Tower, the Tengwang Pavilion, the Yueyang Tower, and the Yuewang Tower). Opening to the public on February 3, 2013, its 99-meter height remains the highest among all ancient buildings in China (today, the Tengwang Pavilion is 57.2 meters, the Yellow Crane Tower is 52.6 meters, the Stork Tower is 72 meters, and the Yueyang Tower is 32 meters).
The Yuewang Tower is now a landmark building in Mianyang. At night, there is a light show, which is very beautiful.
My primary school is right next to the Yuewang Tower. Construction began when I was in primary school and was finally completed when I finished university. The view from the top is amazing, overlooking Mianyang and Fule Mountain in the distance...
I was on my way to Mianyang for a layover and had some free time so I decided to go there. It was just one building and the ticket was quite expensive. I didn't think it was interesting so I didn't go in.
Not as good as expected! Many floors have been commercialized, and only the first floor and the top three floors are open to the public. There is not much to see, and most people are shopping.
The building is very unique and the architecture is magnificent, but it's a pity that I didn't go in.
The Yuewang Tower is a major feature of the local area. The old Yuewang Tower was just average, but after reconstruction it basically became a landmark building in Mianyang City. Friends who like photography can take great photos here.
Mianyang used to be called Mianzhou. After Li Zhen was crowned king in the Tang Dynasty, many changes took place. I didn't know it before, but after visiting, I realized it was one of the Four Great Ming Towers.
There are 15 floors in total, 11 to 15 floors are open to the public, and the remaining floors have business projects. The entrance should be different from the one for visiting.
The ticket price is 30 yuan. Students with student ID can buy it at half price. During the day, you can see the whole picture of Mianyang city, and at night, you can see the night view of Sanjiang, which is also very pleasant.
Of course, many people feel that taking the elevator loses the antique feel, but overlooking the city, from macro to micro, it is also very open.
There are various displays between the 11th and 15th floors, such as an introduction to famous people in Mianyang from ancient times to the present and their contributions, and Mianyang's urban construction from the Han and Tang Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
There are also many photos collected from the public in the past, which restore the old Mianyang City. Of course, there are also works by literati, all of which are related to Yuewang Tower.
There is a teahouse on the 11th floor, free of charge. It is nice to sit in the corridor and enjoy the river view.
In addition, the elevator does not stop in the middle, and goes directly to the 11th or 15th floor from the 2nd floor. You can go and have a look when you have time.
I went there late and didn't go up, but it looked good from outside.
Yuewang Tower, located atop Guishan Mountain in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, was built by Yuewang Li Zhen, the eighth son of Emperor Taizong of Tang, when he served as Governor of Mianzhou. Construction began during the Xianqing reign of Emperor Gaozong of Tang. Its grand scale and splendor, at a height of 100 feet (ten zhang), made it the tallest of the four famous towers of its time (Tengwang Pavilion is 90 zhang, Yellow Crane Tower is 60 zhang, and Yueyang Tower is 30 zhang). The restored Yuewang Tower rivals its former grandeur. At 99 meters, it remains the tallest among ancient buildings in China (today, Tengwang Pavilion is 57.2 meters, Yellow Crane Tower is 52.6 meters, Guanque Tower is 72 meters, and Yueyang Tower is 32 meters). This is why there's a saying that "Yuewang Tower is majestic, Yellow Crane Tower is grand, Tengwang Pavilion is talented, and Yueyang Tower is elegant."
The Yuewang Building was renovated in recent years and is quite unique. Above the 4th floor are some Mianzhou cultural exhibitions. The lower floors are some restaurants and entertainment venues, which are very good.
Just two minutes past the Dongfanghong Bridge in Mianyang, you can see it. It was renovated in the 1980s and now looks even more majestic. This year's Lantern Festival fireworks display in Mianyang was set off near the Yuewang Tower, which complemented the scenery of Mianyang very beautifully.
It reflects the ancient characteristics of Mianyang and is worth a visit, especially the night view at night. It is even more beautiful.
The Yuewang Tower is located on the bank of the Fu River. It is very tall and is a landmark of Mianyang.
Floors 11 through 15 are open to visitors, featuring historical and cultural figures from Mianyang. I never imagined Li Bai grew up in Mianyang. For those looking to experience the ancient past, the concrete and steel structures are a disappointment. The other floors, used as business clubs, were equally disappointing.
However, the nearby Bishui Temple and the dilapidated Tianzhihe Garden give off a more ancient feel.
When reconstructing ancient monuments, people always have modern ideas. I have never been to other similar famous buildings. In my opinion, the steel-clad Yuewang Tower is a failure.
The charm of the Science and Technology City! There will be light shows on some holidays, and there will be a fireworks show on the Lantern Festival! It’s a pity that I only went to the 15th floor and didn’t visit other floors. I will go there next time if I have the chance.
The night view of Yuewang Tower is very good. It is a pity that you cannot go up to the top and look at it at night. However, looking up at Yuewang Tower can still make people feel a solemnity and a sense of vicissitudes of life, and feel the profound cultural heritage of the ancient city of Mianzhou.
You need a ticket to go upstairs, and the view overlooking the Fu River is quite nice.
There's practically no history here, just commercial stuff. It has 15 floors, with floors 11-15 housing historical exhibitions related to Mianyang. Below that, there's teahouses, KTVs, cabaret performances, and other such things. Overall, there's very little nutritious content, perhaps due to its limited location.
Or is it the night view that I saw with someone or someone else?
It is quite nice to go to Yuewang Tower to see the night view.
As an ancient building with a long history and cultural heritage, it is also one of the landmark buildings in Mianyang. At night, it is particularly eye-catching under the shining lights of the city.
This iconic building in Mianyang is located east of the Dongfanghong Bridge. From the top, you can overlook Mianyang city. Tickets to the Yuewang Tower are 20 yuan. The building has several floors of exhibition rooms, and the top floor is a sightseeing area.
Ticket price: 20 yuan/person
After reaching the bell tower, take the elevator to the top floor for a panoramic view of the city. Then walk down to the bottom floor (don't rush, there aren't many floors). Each floor has a collection of calligraphy and paintings, Mianyang history, and various ancient artifacts. It's a great place to take photos.
Located in the heart of Mianyang, right by the Fu River, Yuewang Tower is a magnificent building, a hundred feet tall and boasting a magnificent interior. An elevator takes you to the 15th floor, where a coin-operated telescope is located. Climbing to the rooftop offers a panoramic view of Mianyang city, with tall buildings lining both sides of the Fu River, and several bridges of varying shapes spanning the river. The air is fresh, visibility is excellent, and the beauty of Mianyang is unparalleled. We started our tour on the 15th floor and ended on the 11th. Downstairs, there seems to be a restaurant. The floors below offer information about Mianyang, featuring stories about Tang Dynasty poets, and handicrafts, including brushes, inkstones, and paper. Admission to Yuewang Tower is affordable: 20 yuan for adults and 10 yuan for students.
It is relatively tall in the middle of the city and has the architectural style of the Wei and Jin Dynasties.
It is quite tall and the lights are more beautiful at night. There are also performances inside and some special activities will be launched from time to time.
Yuewang Tower is a relatively famous tourist attraction in Mianyang, but it is really not that good, it is simply very low.
The Yuewang Tower is best visited at night. The main attraction isn't climbing the tower, but sitting by the river at night, gazing at the tower towering over the bridge. The colorful lights on the bridge cast a vibrant glow on the flowing water, resembling a waterfall. Sitting by the river, feeling the breeze, and if the moon is out, watching it rise over the city's tall buildings is truly breathtaking. The grandeur of the Yuewang Tower is truly on display; if you visit during the day, it might just appear to be an ordinary building.
Known as one of the Four Great Towers of the Tang Dynasty, this tower stands majestically on the banks of the Anchang River, imposing and boasting a Bohemian flair. Built by Li Zhen, the eighth son of Emperor Taizong of Tang, it has been destroyed and rebuilt numerous times. The 99-meter-tall, 15-story structure, built on the original site in 2011, has been transformed into a vertical museum. I took a look at the exhibits, mostly introducing Mianyang's history and displaying poetry by successive poets, and I lost interest instantly.
