The sunrise and sunset here are often more fiery. Every day at sunrise and sunset, the sky behind the windmill is like fire, which is a good time to take great photos.
The surrounding environment is poor, so please make sure to take protective measures. At the same time, the temperature difference between day and night is large, so please bring more warm clothes.

Dabancheng Wind Power Station, with its windmills and transmission towers, is not something that we, the people of the eastern provinces, can easily see. On cloudy days like today, the hazy beauty of the windmills and the Eastern Tianshan Mountains is enhanced. If it is sunny, the windmills and the snow-capped mountains of Bogda Peak in the Eastern Tianshan Mountains complement each other, which is another kind of beautiful scenery. If it is sunny in the evening, it will be a paradise on earth.
On the way from Urumqi to Turpan, heading south, on both sides of the road leading to Dabancheng, an important town on the Silk Road, hundreds of wind turbines stand tall and spin in the wind, contrasting with the blue sky and white clouds. Against the backdrop of the majestic and beautiful Bogda Peak, and on the vast wilderness, a spectacular windmill world is formed. This is the largest wind energy base in my country at present - Xinjiang Dabancheng Wind Power Plant. The total installed capacity here is 125,000 kilowatts, with a single unit of 1,500 kilowatts.
You will definitely pass by here when coming from Urumqi!
Dabancheng Wind Power Station is very unique. From a distance, rows of wind turbines stand tall and spin in the wind, forming a spectacular windmill world against the blue sky, white clouds and vast grassland. It is most beautiful when the sun sets.
The windmills in Dabancheng are really spectacular. I knew there would be a lot of them, but I didn't expect so many! When I drove past them, I really felt like I was being swallowed by the windmills.
Although Xinjiang uses Beijing time, its theoretical latitude and longitude time zone is East 6, which is two hours later than Beijing time. At 7:30, we set off with the sunrise. . I was naturally drowsy in the car. . I don’t know how long it took, but suddenly I found that the windmills kept flashing outside the car window, so I woke up immediately, picked up my phone and kept pressing the shutter. . .
Emmm, we must have arrived at Dabashancheng. I used my mobile phone to locate it and it turned out to be the viewing point of Dabashancheng Wind Power Plant.
The stone road in Dabancheng is hard and flat.
The watermelon is big and sweet
The girls in Dabancheng have long braids.
Two beautiful eyes
If you marry
Don't marry someone else
You must marry me
With millions of dollars
Lead your sister
Drive that carriage here
I couldn't help but hum Wang Luobin's "The Girl from Dabancheng". Even if I didn't have the chance to walk the stone road of Dabancheng and meet the girl from Dabancheng this time... I have been to Dabancheng, which I knew from songs when I was a child, and I was already pleasantly surprised and satisfied.
Large-scale wind power stations are all along the long highway to Turpan. Thousands of generators are in operation, which is a spectacular scene. I saw many machines from China Huaneng, which I thought were awesome. Especially when I came back in the afternoon and the sun was setting, the generators were turning in the sunset, which was super beautiful.
On the way from Urumqi to Turpan, you will pass through Dabancheng. The scenery of large windmills all over the mountains is the most magnificent scenery here. It can be seen for a long distance along the way. It is said that the wind in Dabancheng is all crosswind, so you need to pay attention when driving.
This is a must-go place when going from Urumqi to Turpan!
The windmills along the way are a sight to behold!
I didn’t get the effect!
Osaka Castle is very depressed now...
Where are the girls from Dabancheng? The tour guide said they all went to the Grand Bazaar.
Sitting in the car, I could feel the force of the wind hitting the car window. There were hundreds of wind turbines standing on both sides of the road, rotating against the wind, forming a spectacular windmill world in the vast wilderness.

When I went to Turpan, I saw a large area of trains, arranged in a neat and uniform manner.
Xinjiang, such a familiar name, full of mystery and temptation, follow the weathervane outdoor travel network to experience the local customs and appreciate the natural scenery, follow the guide to taste the local mutton skewers, eat Xinjiang Hami melon, and make many close friends. The capital of Xinjiang is Urumqi. Urumqi means "beautiful pasture" in Uyghur language, what a poetic name. It is really a holy place on earth.
I passed by on my way back to Urumqi and took a look.
The sightseeing trip started from the power station. The white wind turbines, which were made up of three huge fan-shaped petals, stood in rows on both sides of the road, spreading along the mountains. The visual shock brought by the huge objects was certain.
We didn't stay for too long, just regarded it as a gift of scenery along the way.
Passing by, it is on both sides of the highway from Dabashancheng to Urumqi. I guess several major power companies in China have power stations here. Just take a look when you pass by.
Hundreds of huge windmills stand on both sides of the road near Dabancheng. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the huge blades turn in the wind, creating a vast and spectacular scene.
You will pass by it on the way to Tashkurgan. Usually you don't stop, but just look at it from the car. It's quite spectacular.
On December 31, 2017, when the bus station in the suburbs was about to be relocated, I unexpectedly went there and got off at Chaiwopu. The wind howled across the land, and I leaned on the railing alone, just to see which direction the wind was blowing.
I passed by on the way from Urumqi to Turpan. I heard that one machine cost more than 7 million RMB.
The whole road from Urumqi to Turpan is full of these wind turbines for generating electricity.
The windmill power generation in Dabancheng is a unique and beautiful landscape.
Not far from Urumqi, you will pass by a large wind farm where the windmills are planted neatly like vegetables.
Driving to Turpan, there are many windmills. Photos can't capture the feeling, you have to see it in person
When passing by, listen to the story of the windmill and the girl who released the first song of Dabancheng, which is quite appropriate.
To be more precise, it should be called a wind farm, and people tend to think of a wind power station as a power station. These are two different concepts. Wind farms look numerous and large. Power stations are not very interesting. The hills on both sides of Dabancheng are almost filled with wind turbines, which looks quite spectacular. There is a windmill memorial on the side of the road, which is worth stopping to take a picture.
Passing by. On the road from Turpan to Urumqi, there is a well-known small town. Its fame does not come from the beautiful natural scenery, nor from the intoxicating ethnic customs; it has no amazing monuments, no special stories. It is famous only because of a beautiful melody and a simple and humorous lyrics. It is the Dabancheng sung in the song "The Girl from Dabancheng". What is really impressive about Dabancheng is wind power generation. Daban means high mountain pass and winding mountain road in Uyghur and Mongolian. Dabancheng is a famous wind outlet with an average wind speed of 6.1 meters per second, ranking second in Xinjiang. Dabancheng is one of the areas with rich wind energy resources in Xinjiang.
What a beautiful windmill field, it's so beautiful even when photographed from the car! Even if you don't go there on purpose, you should at least stop by and take a look.
I was passing by by car. I heard that a large electric fan cost 2 million yuan, which is a cheap price now that we are developed. The whole field is full of large electric fans. It is quite shocking and nice to look at.
I just saw a group of power stations on the way to Turpan. Each power station was forty or fifty meters high, and thousands of them were connected together, which was a spectacular sight.
Passing by on the train, I didn't feel much.
On the way from Urumqi to Turpan, heading south, on both sides of the road leading to Dabancheng, an important town on the Silk Road, hundreds of wind turbines stand tall and spin in the wind, contrasting with the blue sky and white clouds, and against the background of the majestic and beautiful Bogda Peak, forming a spectacular world of windmills on the vast wilderness. I was just riding by. But the wind here is too strong. Are you trying to trick me? When the riders in front of me passed by here, there was no wind at all, but I was riding with strong crosswinds. I was exhausted.
In February, when I drove from Urumqi to Turpan, I passed by a power plant. The hundreds of wind turbines on both sides of the road were quite spectacular. There was a section of the road where I could clearly feel the power of the wind. I found a place to park and got off the car to experience it. The wind was so strong that I quickly got back in the car to get away from this world of wind.
There is a large area of wind power generation. There are a lot of wind power generation here. Some of them can be seen by taking the train, but the propellers of many windmills have fallen off.
This is the largest wind power station in China. It is located on the way from Urumqi to Turpan, just outside the city of Urumqi. The power station covers a large area, and it is indeed a world of windmills. All the pictures of the power station were taken in a high-speed car. The substation with the background of the snow-capped mountains is almost perfect, so there is no need to stop. You only need to roll down the window to enjoy the 360-degree view. The wind power generation area is very large, and there is always an angle that will allow you to remember its appearance. So if you love taking pictures, you must not put away your camera, but be ready to raise it at any time to record the beautiful scenery. The snow-capped mountains on a sunny day reflect the vastness of the nearby area, which is really beautiful. Passing by the salt lake, we plan to go to the salt lake first.

You can see it along the way to Turpan. It feels okay. It is an attraction that was formed during the development of the city but is not a tourist attraction.
On the way back to Urumqi from Turpan, I passed Dabancheng, which looked very spectacular from a distance. I have seen many windmills, but this is the first time I have seen such a neatly arranged array of windmills, like a team of soldiers standing guard, which is very shocking.

Passing by on the train, the desert is filled with smoke and the long river is filled with sunset. If you have not been to Xinjiang, you will not know how big our country is. From Lanzhou to Urumqi by train, it will take a day and a night to drive on the Gobi Desert. You can see many wind turbines and snow-capped mountains in the distance.
The wind and sand are so strong that you can just watch it from the car, there is no need to get off to feel it.
On July 29, 2016, we took a bus from Urumqi to Turpan. The most common thing we saw along the way was wind turbines. We passed by the Dabancheng Wind Power Station.
It is very spectacular, a very large area. When I saw it on the plane on the way back, it was bigger and wider than I thought.
There is nothing to see, no need to go, the wind is very strong and the dust is heavy
I just passed by on the way back, but it looked spectacular.
The first time I saw a windmill, I was shocked!
The car is quite big. There is a rest stop selling various kinds of Dabancheng girl beans, with many flavors.
The number of strong winds has increased dramatically in recent years, and they are becoming more and more spectacular;
Seeing the hugeness of windmills makes us feel how small humans are.
In addition to the wind power station and windmills, there are also girls in Tashkurgan. But there is really nothing special about it. It's all because of that song. If you like photography, you can go to Tashkurgan at sunset and take unexpected photos.
I went to Urumqi on October 1, 2015, and saw the windmills for the first time in Dabancheng. The weather was very good, the sky was high and the clouds were light, and the sky was so blue that you could squeeze water out of it. The sun was shining, and there was a breeze. The windmills on both sides of the Tuwuda Expressway were spinning with the wind, and there was no end in sight. It was very shocking.
Here you can see rows of windmills, and the scenery at sunset is spectacular!
Seeing the large number of windmills here is spectacular, and it is a different feeling when accompanied by the passionate Xinjiang songs!
There are also many such wind power stations in Gansu. I get excited every time I see them. The Gobi Desert in the west, coupled with such large windmills, looks even more vast and magnificent in the setting sun!
If you pass by on the way to Turpan, you can stop the car to visit and take photos for free. Stop to see the windmill up close, it's so spectacular~
A beautiful place, beautiful roads, and good local greenery
It is a wind farm, and I don't feel it is a tourist attraction; but the densely packed large windmills are quite impressive. But it doesn't match the song "The girls in Dabancheng are as beautiful as flowers..."
On the way back to Urumqi from Turpan, I saw the spectacular sight of wind power generation.
There is a large area of windmills here, which is very spectacular. It was cloudy and cold when I went there. The wind was really strong. Even when I sat in the car with the windows closed, I could feel the car shaking in the wind. This place is on the way to Turpan, and there are many tour groups.
The largest wind power station in Asia - Dabancheng Wind Power Station. Spectacular!!

I really like the feeling of looking at the windmills turning in the distance against the background of thick clouds.
The super large windmill power generation base makes the windmills in Gaomei Wetland look so weak in comparison!
The wind in the Tianshan Grand Canyon is so strong that it can blow people crazy.
The Tianshan Grand Canyon was an absolute military stronghold in ancient times! No one is allowed to cross the Tianshan Mountains!!
The wind power generation equipment stretching for dozens of kilometers is shocking to see along the way.
The wind was so strong that the car seemed to be floating. The windmills were spectacular. I really saw and deeply felt the size, beauty and vastness of Xinjiang! It is said that the Sanshili Wind Passage here once blew over a train. The wind is strongest from January to February every year. The roads here are often closed according to weather conditions. No matter what season it is, once it rains, there will be strong winds and the roads will generally be closed. We felt like we could hardly walk in the bright sunshine in July. If we didn't have some weight, we would really be blown away.
The wind in Dabancheng is strong, and there are windmills all along the way. The scenery along the way
The wind is so strong, it is indeed the No. 1 Power Plant, the scenery is nice in the morning
I passed by early in the morning and saw the sunrise. I got off the car to take pictures and was almost blown away by the wind. Oh, it was so cold. There were many windmills along the road.
The last attraction of the Xinjiang wedding photo tour. The last stop of beautiful memories in Xinjiang.
The large-scale windmills standing on the vast Gobi Desert are so spectacular...

It's so picturesque!!!
The windmills of Tashkurgan look very nice from a distance, and are particularly beautiful in the morning under the sunlight.
I passed by here on my way to Huoyan Mountain, which is also one of the attractions in Xinjiang and the largest wind power plant in Xinjiang. I felt it was just average.
Hundreds of wind turbines stand tall and spin against the wind, contrasting with the blue sky and white clouds. Against the backdrop of the majestic and magnificent Bogda Peak, in the vast wilderness, a spectacular world of windmills is formed. It is especially beautiful in the afternoon when the sun sets and the turbines are turning in the sunset.
As a graduate of the Department of Physics, while I was introducing the knowledge of wind power generation to the children and appreciating the magnificent scenery, I couldn’t help but exclaim in my heart: It is great that humans utilize the power of nature!
