Fish-Watching Platform

The Fish-Watching Platform is located on the top of Camel Peak on the west bank of Kanas Lake. It was originally built for viewing the "lake monster", hence the name "Fish-Watching Platform". The height difference of more than 600 meters from the lake surface makes it the best angle to overlook the panoramic view of Kanas Lake. Not only can you see three-quarters of the lake surface, but you can also see the reflections of the mountains and peaks around the lake. If you look north, you can also clearly see the highest peak of the Altai Mountains - Friendship Peak. Therefore, climbing the Fish-Watching Platform has become a must-do thing for visitors to Kanas.
There are two ways to get to the Fish Viewing Terrace. One is by car, which costs 60 yuan per person for a one-way trip. If you take the car up the mountain, you can save 60 yuan by walking down. For those with good physical strength, it is recommended to walk up the stone steps laid for climbers in front of the mountain where the lake outlet is located. There are a total of 1,068 steps, which takes about 1.5 hours.

The most impressive thing in Kanas is climbing a snow-capped mountain, which took two and a half hours and reached an altitude of more than 2,000 meters. It was for exercise and for the scenery along the way.

In fact, the main reason is to save money, because the motorcycle at the foot of the mountain costs 280 per person. The snow on both sides of the mountain road is very deep, so deep that it can bury the head of the horse. People die for money, and birds die for food. I hope it is safe. My fifth uncle saw this photo and said: The footsteps of exploration can only have footprints in the sun. I really like a sentence written by the Peking University Mountaineering Team: There is no scenery below the snow line, and there are no brothers outside the ropes. The snowy mountain that requires ice picks and ropes symbolizes challenges. It is also very satisfying to be able to climb a snowy mountain with basically no difficulty. Chasing the light, I walked slowly in the snow with one foot deep and one foot shallow. After a rest, I was surpassed by the sun. After climbing up the mountainside and turning around, the sun shines on the golden mountain, and it is worth it no matter how tired I am. The sun has already shone on the top of the mountain. In order to catch up with the sunset, I have to speed up my pace. In the end, I worked hard and sweated, but I didn’t catch the last sunlight at the fish viewing platform on the top of the mountain. It is highly recommended to climb the mountain of the fish viewing platform at sunset. During this magic time, the sky changes from yellow to orange, red, purple, and dark. After the sun went down, the temperature dropped sharply. I couldn't hold on any longer, and neither did my camera. I put it in my arms to keep it warm, but when I took it out, it was frozen. I took this blurry photo.

The Fish-Watching Terrace is a structure of two platforms and one pavilion. The two platforms are hexagonal, larger at the top and smaller at the bottom. The top of the pavilion is hemispherical, with four symmetrically distributed wing shapes, implying the majestic posture of a mountain eagle soaring.

Whether you look at Kanas Lake from the observation deck or the fish-watching deck, you will be shocked by the magic and magnificence of the natural scenery.

Standing on the fish-watching platform and looking around, you can see the entire Kanas Lake, with the snow-capped mountains in the distance and the coniferous forest belt at your feet complementing each other.

By Incredible |

There are 1,068 steps to the Fish Viewing Platform. During the climb, you can always see a corner of Kanas Lake. The scenery of the lake and mountains varies from far and near. When you really climb up to the Fish Viewing Platform, you can see most of the dark green lake. It is indeed the best viewing point. It is an extremely beautiful oil painting no matter how you look at it! A high-power telescope is placed on the plank road, and you can clearly see the snow-capped mountains across the lake. After studying the payment method (7 yuan for two minutes, 10 yuan for three minutes), simply scan the code to pay. T set the position and took a look. He said that he could see the snow on the top of the mountain in the distance. I looked at it immediately. Why is it pitch black? Where is the top of the mountain? When I was wondering, T looked at me and said, "You are too short, and the lens is too low!" I was depressed. The low altitude is a disadvantage! I adjusted again and successfully saw the scenery on the top of the mountain.

Arriving at Kanas Fish-Watching Terrace, you can overlook the entire Kanas Scenic Area from the highest point. You need to take a snowmobile to get up there. The master who took me on the car reminded me that he was not as gentle as other motorcycle masters, and asked me to hold the handrail tightly. I told him to step on the accelerator to the bottom if he had the ability. In the end, he won. He accelerated and sprinted on the winding mountain road, drifted in big turns, just like driving a go-kart. I was almost thrown out in the back seat. My hands were obviously very cold, but I held the handlebars tightly and did not dare to let go at all. I was wrong, isn't it okay?

I was deeply impressed by the plank road leading to the Fish-Watching Terrace. Xiao Xia and Gou Shao walked there, but I rolled. When I was climbing up, my foot slipped and my butt landed on the ground. I slid all the way down the stairs back to the starting point. I also lacked exercise.

From the top of the mountain, you can see the boundless Kanas, which is breathtakingly beautiful.

I think my physical endurance is better than usual when I travel, and I like mountain climbing, but it is still quite strenuous to climb up to the Fish Viewing Platform. It happened to be very hot at that time, and there was rarely a shady place to rest for a while during the whole climbing process. I couldn't reach the top in one breath, so I could only take pictures while walking to relieve myself. The scenery is really worth stopping for. I can't think of any adjectives except to say that it is extremely beautiful. Everything in nature is green as it should be in the middle of summer, the grass and trees are lush, the snow-capped mountains are pure white, the Kanas Lake is clear and blue, and the sky is blue and white. The whole picture is like an oil painting, and I am lucky to be in the painting. It’s nice to take pictures of the winding mountain road with the snow-capped mountains as the background, the plank road in the jungle and snow-capped mountains, and the snow-capped mountain lake dotted with yachts. The yachts in the lake look like small and twinkling stars in the sky... I like the pictures taken from every angle and height. The lush green woods, white snow-capped mountains, blue sky, and bright sunlight form a beautiful picture of Kanas in midsummer.

It was noon, the sun was too strong, luckily I had a headscarf, so I ate a few bites of the sac. We headed towards the commanding heights of Kanas, Diaoyutai. It took us about an hour to climb up, and along the way we had a panoramic view of Kanas.

The lake water is emerald green. I met a tour group at Diaoyutai and heard the tour guide introduce that due to the rich minerals here, the water of Kanas Lake will change color with the change of seasons. Standing at the highest point, overlooking the God's private land, I am now a god too. Looking into the depths of Kanas Lake, there are rolling mountains on the other side.

It started snowing in Kanas Mountain these nights, and I heard along the way that the Fish Viewing Terrace might not be open due to weather reasons. When I took the shuttle bus to the transfer station, I hurried to inquire about the tickets for the Fish Viewing Terrace. After knowing that I could buy tickets to go up, I unanimously decided to go to the Fish Viewing Terrace first.

The wind on the mountain was very strong and the weather was cold (although it was close to noon, the temperature in Kanas was only about 2 degrees before 10 in the morning). Climbing the mountain was quite strenuous and you needed to rest while climbing. Whether the scenery along the way is beautiful or not is up to you! (Beauty Tips: Take off your down jacket to take pictures, be quick! Accurate! Beautiful!)

Hidden deep in Altai, it will be such autumn scenery

God's private land

Let us, as mortals, wash away the dust along the way

I feel so happy~

There are 1068 steps to the top. If it weren't for the beautiful view, I would have given up on the third rest. My family members kept encouraging me, saying that you can see the panoramic view of Kanas Lake at the top.

Autumn is such a perfect season.

The snow-capped mountains in the distance, the tranquil Nanas Lake, the mountains full of golden Siberian larch, and the unique autumn sun, everything is just right.

Locals say that if you come to Kanas and don't go to the Fish Viewing Terrace, it's like you haven't been to Kanas. After coming here, I found that the scenery is really worthy of such an evaluation. The Fish Viewing Terrace is on the top of a high mountain in the scenic area. It took us about 3 hours to climb up and take pictures leisurely. We took pictures of almost every place where we could take pictures along the way. Because the scenery is so beautiful, the success rate of taking pictures is almost 100%.

It’s a shame that I was too timid to fly the drone because there were so many people.

It was already 8:30 when we arrived at the top of Diaoyutai Mountain. The morning mist had already dissipated halfway. On the way, we passed a small grassland on the hillside with many small wild flowers, which was quite beautiful. On the hillside, we could see the morning mist of Tuwa New Village and the morning mist of Kanas Lake in the distance. Early birds and birds who walk diligently have beautiful views to see. Those who come by shuttle bus will not be able to enjoy it.

If you want to go to the Guanyu Terrace in Kanas Scenic Area to watch the morning fog, it is recommended to stay at Tuwa New Village at night. It takes about 1.5 hours to walk up the mountain from Tuwa New Village. If you take the scenic area shuttle bus, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the halfway plank road to the Guanyu Terrace, and then walk about half an hour to the top of the mountain. The earliest shuttle bus is at 9 o'clock (it is not guaranteed that you can get on the 9 o'clock bus, there are tour groups waiting in front). The ticket is 120/person. Basically, the morning fog will be gone when you reach the top of the mountain. So start walking early.

The Fish-Watching Pavilion is located in the Kanas Scenic Area in Burqin, Xinjiang. It is built on the top of the Sahara Laid-Open Mountain (which means "Camel Peak" in Mongolian) at an altitude of 2,030 meters. The vertical drop from the lake surface is more than 600 meters. It is named Fish-Watching Pavilion because it is in an excellent position to observe the "lake monster". Therefore, climbing the Fish-Watching Pavilion has become a must-do thing when visiting Kanas.

The Fish-Watching Platform is located on the top of Camel Peak on the west bank of Kanas Lake. It was originally built to observe lake monsters.

I remember watching CCTV's "Into Science" program when I was a child. There was a series about the Kanas Lake monster. Experts and tourists always waited in the fish-watching pavilion with telescopes and cameras, hoping to capture the appearance of the "water monster". The mysterious atmosphere created in the program constituted my first memory of the fish-watching platform. Our journey to the fish-watching platform was divided into two parts. The driver first drove us up a hillside, and then we walked up the steps of the scenic area. There are 1,200 steps in total, which are low and winding. It is not very tiring to walk, and each step will be numbered from the 800th step, which is a great encouragement for tourists with limited physical strength. There are viewing platforms along the way, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kanas Lake while walking.

The best view of the Fish Viewing Platform is when there is about one-third of the way to go. The Fish Viewing Platform consists of two platforms and a pavilion. The top is in the shape of a flying fish, which is said to be a fusion of the legend of fish monsters. When we went up to the platform, it was covered with dark clouds. Looking down, there was only thick fog, and there were three layers of tourists on the two platforms, so we took a circle and went down the mountain.

I have something very serious to say! Here's the key point! On the way to Guanyutai, there is a toll booth where a local will ask you to pay! But! Normally it's 60/person. If you don't check the guide and don't ask him, he will ask you to pay 120/person! Mr. Zheng and I were cheated!

It takes about half an hour to get to the Fish Viewing Platform... It's really tiring... And the snow is thick and slippery, so be sure to wear a pair of non-slip shoes and be careful not to fall! But I heard from local people that Kanas is more beautiful in winter than in autumn ~ I really agree!

When I climbed up to the Fish Viewing Platform, I really couldn't think of any words to praise it. I regretted not having enough knowledge when I needed it! But I think my future self will definitely be grateful to my present self for traveling thousands of miles to come to this land just for this glimpse.

It took about an hour or two to climb up and down. The most regrettable thing was that the door of the pavilion above the fish-watching platform was not open, so I couldn't stand at the best angle to appreciate the mysterious and beautiful Kanas Lake.

Later on the way back, we also saw Wolong Bay and Moon Bay, which were really beautiful like a painting.

In fact, if possible, I hope to walk up by myself and appreciate the fragrance of wild peony all the way. The car stopped halfway up the mountain. There are 1,036 steps from the hillside to the fish-watching platform. To avoid crowds of tourists, the upper and lower paths are different. The upper path is close to Kanas Lake. From bottom to top, as we get higher and higher, the full picture of Kanas Lake unfolds little by little in front of us. The azure blue lake is covered by mountains and ridges. The lake is surrounded by lush coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests, which are connected to the vast mountain grasslands. We did not see the water monster, but only saw a long trail of cruise ships crossing the water. The team split again, and Aries, Sagittarius, and Taurus naturally became the first echelon. In the middle are Virgo and Scorpio. The two Cancers silently fell to the end because of various poses and constant disputes. Although the descending path is not suitable for viewing Kanas Lake, it is convenient for enjoying the snow-capped mountains and valleys, and various wild flowers, each of which is beautiful in its own way. Sun Haiyang, who told us that it would take two hours to reach the summit, really underestimated our ability. It only took us an hour and a half to go back and forth even after posing for all kinds of photos. We are southerners who are good at climbing mountains, haha!

By A girl |

To see the full view of Kanas Lake, you can only go to the Fish Viewing Platform. Tickets for the Fish Viewing Platform need to be purchased separately (20 yuan/person), and you have to climb a distance of mountain after arriving. As the altitude rises, the full view of Kanas Lake gradually unfolds before your eyes. Looking far away, the snow-capped mountains shine like stars; looking down, the lake embraces the glittering blue in its arms, and sometimes white yachts shuttle across the lake, dragging a long white tail ripple. The flying birds are just black dots in the camera, and the shale is like a book - the vastness of the world is nothing more than this.

A few days before National Day, it was also the most beautiful golden autumn, and there were still quite a lot of people, especially on the way to the Fish-Watching Platform. The bus dropped us off halfway up the mountain, and then we had to climb up by ourselves. There were steps all the way, but it felt okay and we didn't feel tired. We walked slowly and took pictures slowly. It took us about 3 hours to go up and down. We went up the mountain first, and there were viewing platforms at suitable places. We went to take pictures of Kanas Lake. Some places on the road were bare and very hot under the sun, so we had to take off our clothes. Some places were in the woods and it was cool. When we arrived at the Fish-Watching Platform, there was a two-story pavilion with an Arale hat on it. The top floor of the pavilion was the highest viewing point, but there were so many people that we just looked around and took some pictures and then came down.

After climbing 1,068 steps, I finally reached the Fish-Watching Platform. The Fish-Watching Platform is one of the most famous attractions in Kanas Scenic Area. It has a vertical drop of more than 600 meters from the lake surface. It is the best place to see the mysterious lake monster in Kanas, and it is also a viewing platform that can overlook the entire lake. Although it is very tiring to climb the Fish-Watching Platform, it is impossible to appreciate the beauty of Kanas Lake without climbing the Fish-Watching Platform. Standing on the Fish-Watching Platform, the Kanas Lake at your feet lies quietly between the two mountains, like a sapphire, scattering sparkling and dazzling light. The blue sky and white clouds, the sparkling waves, make people feel like they are in the fairyland of Yaochi. I tried hard to search the lake surface, imagining the appearance of the lake monster. But there were only the reflections of white clouds and the waves of the cruise ship on the lake, and the lake monster was deeply hidden under the sapphire-like lake surface, refusing to meet us.

If you only buy tickets to Kanas, you need to buy the bus and entrance tickets to Fish Viewing Terrace separately. But because we bought a three-day pass, which included the bus and entrance tickets to Fish Viewing Terrace, we were lucky enough.

The Guanyu Terrace offers a panoramic view of Kanas. Although the sky is gradually covered by cumulonimbus clouds, there are still some places with blue sky. So a few of us followed these places with blue sky as the background and first used the camera to record the beautiful scenery of Kanas with blue sky and white clouds.

The parking lot of Guanyu Terrace is about 1.5km away from the top of the terrace, and you need to climb 1,000 steps to reach it. Every few steps you take and look left and right, you can see the golden grasslands of Kanas and the Kanas Lake Basin. We walked and took pictures surrounded by beautiful scenery. Although there were dark clouds, the scenery of Kanas in the lens was amazing enough.

By Daily |

The ticket for Fish Viewing Terrace is independent of the ticket for Kanas. You need to buy the ticket at the transfer center in advance [20 yuan/person], take the shuttle bus to the halfway point of the mountain [the journey takes about 20-30 minutes], and then climb 1,068 steps to stand at the commanding height of Kanas and have a panoramic view of the entire lake and distant mountains.

The wooden plank road of Guanyutai is well built now. It is not too strenuous to walk up the 1068 steps. There is a small viewing platform at intervals. As you go up the steps, the appearance of Kanas Lake is gradually unveiled. The shadows of layers of clouds are reflected on the blue lake, and the shadows are dim.

【Fish Watching Platform】Fish Watching Platform is a must-see in Kanas Scenic Area. It was first built in 1987 and was renamed Fish Watching Platform after the reconstruction. Looking up at Fish Watching Platform from the lake at the bottom of the mountain, it looks like an incense platform sitting upright on the West Mountain. If the sky is shrouded in clouds and mist or in the sunset, the incense platform will be filled with clouds and mist, and the auspicious clouds and fairy air will be everywhere.

Climbing the Guanyu Terrace is the final exclamation point in the itinerary of traveling to Kanas. Without climbing the Guanyu Terrace, you cannot appreciate the ultimate beauty of Kanas; without climbing the Guanyu Terrace, you cannot understand the true meaning of life (it feels like an advertisement).

Due to weather reasons, we were unable to climb up to the Fish-Watching Terrace and could only look at the unclear Fish-Watching Terrace from afar on the lakeside at the bottom of the mountain. This was a pity of this trip.

The Fish-Watching Platform is on the top of the mountain on the west side of Kanas Lake. Take a shuttle bus from the Kanas Scenic Area Transfer Center to the parking lot halfway up the mountain, then climb the mountain along the sightseeing trail. There are a total of 1,680 steps to the Fish-Watching Platform. The climbing stage is the best time to see Kanas Lake. You won't be able to see it if you take another road down the mountain. The Fish-Watching Platform is on the top of the mountain. When you climb up the Fish-Watching Platform, you will have a wide view and a panoramic view of the lake. Two photos, one was taken when approaching the Fish-Watching Platform on the way up the mountain, and the other was taken when I just left the Fish-Watching Platform on the way down the mountain.

The Fish-Watching Terrace is the highest point in the entire Kanas Scenic Area and a must-visit for all tourists, so the crowd is particularly dense. To climb the Fish-Watching Terrace, you need to climb 1,068 steps, which takes about 30 minutes. However, the scenery along the way makes people completely forget their fatigue. Looking around, the endless valleys extend layer by layer beyond the sight. The best overlooking angle is the Fish-Watching Terrace on the top of the mountain. The Fish-Watching Terrace was designed by the master of garden architecture and landscape Wu Zhaozhao, and its plaque was inscribed by the cultural master Yu Qiuyu. Interestingly, this viewing platform was originally called "Fish-Watching Pavilion", but because it sounded like "official luck stopped", it was considered unlucky, so it was renamed "Fish-Watching Terrace" which sounded like "official luck lifted".

At noon, take the shuttle bus to Guanyutai at the transfer center. Note that there are buses going to four directions here, so don't line up in the wrong line. Passing by the new village, it is opposite the transfer center. Like the old village, there are also many accommodations here, but overall it is not as convenient as the old village. The scenery along the way to Guanyutai is also great! The road up the mountain is steep and narrow! The shuttle bus can only go halfway up the mountain, and the rest needs to be hiked up, a total of 1,068 steps. Let's go! Opposite is the old village and the transfer center, on the right is the new village, and in the middle is the Kanas River, which flows out of the Karas Lake. It is 2,030 meters above sea level, and the height difference with the lake is more than 600 meters. It really feels like a view of the mountains, wow... refreshing!

After taking the scenic area bus from Kanas into the scenic area, you will arrive at the transfer center and continue to take the bus.

To see Kanas Lake, there are two shuttle buses, one goes to Guanyutai (going up the mountain to see the lake), and the other goes to Kanas Lake (by the lake).

You can see the panoramic view from the top of Guanyutai Mountain, but you need to buy a separate ticket, which costs 20 yuan.

After taking the car up the mountain, you still have to continue hiking to the fish-watching pavilion on the top of the mountain, which takes about half an hour.

Come, come, come, let me show you the Fish Viewing Platform during the National Day holiday.

I want to say that although we were prepared to queue up and get squeezed before we set off, we were still shocked when we went to Guanyutai on October 3rd, because there was no one on the road? ? It turned out that we just accidentally went out during the off-peak period. I suggest that everyone set off earlier and walk there so that they won’t encounter large groups of tour groups~

Climbing the Guanyu Terrace is the last exclamation point in the trip to Kanas. Without climbing the Guanyu Terrace, you cannot appreciate the ultimate beauty of Kanas; without climbing the Guanyu Terrace, you cannot understand the true meaning of life.

Under the blue sky and white clouds

The lake is deep in color

A shallow

A piece of blue

A piece of green

A piece of mutton-fat jade

An emerald green

Brilliant and beautiful

Frozen

Like a white ribbon

Winding mountains

If fate

You can also see the Buddha's light

My huge figure soared into the sky

Ride the clouds

As if in a fairyland

To go to the Fish-Watching Terrace, you need to buy a separate ticket and transfer to the scenic area's minibus. It took more than 20 minutes of rattling along the way before you finally arrived at the Fish-Watching Terrace transfer station. Then you have to climb 1,100 steps to reach the highest point.

There are stairs going up the mountain, and it is basically a gentle slope going down the mountain. The scenery along the way is breathtaking!

The Fish-Watching Platform is located in the Kanas Scenic Area. It is built on the top of a mountain at an altitude of 2,030 meters. The vertical drop from the lake surface is more than 600 meters. Because it is in the best position to observe the "lake monster", it is named Fish-Watching Pavilion. The Fish-Watching Pavilion is the best scenic spot in Kanas and the only best platform to stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kanas.

On July 25th, our group of three shared a car with a family of three from Shenzhen in Urumqi and started a wonderful seven-day tour in Xinjiang. Accompanied by our driver Wu Jianjiang, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Xinjiang. Master Wu's thoughtfulness and enthusiasm made our trip easy and enjoyable. While praising the beautiful scenery, I also want to give a big thumbs up to Xiao Wu👍!

By Wandering Sleeper |

The scenery of Fish Viewing Terrace is very good. You can take a 20-minute round-trip bus from the transfer center to the Fish Viewing Terrace parking lot. Then walk for about half an hour and climb more than 100 meters in altitude to reach the Fish Viewing Terrace. The Fish Viewing Terrace has now cancelled its separate charge. When you climb up the Fish Viewing Terrace, you can see the whole picture of Kanas Lake, as well as the snow-capped mountains, grasslands, rivers and mountain climbing roads in the distance. The scenery from every angle is beautiful!

The Fish-Watching Platform is built on the top of the Sahara Laid-Open Mountain (Mongolian for "Camel Peak") at an altitude of 2,030 meters. You need to take a shuttle bus through the winding mountain road to the middle of the mountain and then climb up the steps. There are two ways to climb the Fish-Watching Platform. One way goes up along the ridge near the lake, overlooking the beautiful scenery of Kanas Lake and the valley along the way, but there are too many steps and you can't see the end; the other way goes along the hillside and you can enjoy the meadow full of flowers. People usually take the first way up the mountain and the other way down the mountain. The Fish-Watching Platform is a wooden structure with two platforms and one pavilion. The bottom platform is slightly smaller, and the middle platform is larger than the bottom platform and the top pavilion. It can accommodate more than a hundred people to watch the scenery at the same time. The top is semi-spherical with four symmetrical strange shapes similar to wings, which are the meaning of the tail of the lake monster and the wings of the eagle. The plaque "Fish-Watching Platform" on it was written by Mr. Yu Qiuyu. Climb up to the Fish Viewing Platform, which is more than 600 meters above the lake, making it the best place to overlook the panoramic view of Kanas Lake. Not only can you see most of the lake, but you can also see the mountains around the lake, the reflection of the green peaks, and the snow-capped peaks in the distance. It is said that someone has seen a lake monster here.

The Fish-Watching Platform is located in the Kanas Scenic Area in Burqin, Xinjiang. It is built on the top of the Sahara Laid-Open (Mongolian for "Camel Peak") mountain at an altitude of 2,030 meters. The vertical drop from the lake surface is more than 600 meters. Because it is in the best position to observe the "lake monster", it is named the Fish-Watching Pavilion. The Fish-Watching Pavilion is the best of Kanas attractions and the only best platform to stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kanas. It was first built in 1987 and was named the Fish-Watching Platform after this renovation. If you don't climb the Fish-Watching Platform, you won't be able to appreciate the ultimate beauty of Kanas.

You can hike up from the horse trail near Kanas New Village, which takes 3 hours to go up and 1 hour to go down. If you take a car, it costs 30 yuan one way in June 2018, and the pavilion closes at 19:30. I feel that the middle of the mountain is more beautiful than the top of the mountain. You can't see the real fish.

The closest place to overlook Kanas Lake, there is snow on the distant mountains, the big blue lake below, and the occasional sea of clouds is even more beautiful!

Maybe I had too high expectations and placed too much on them, so I was a little disappointed. The color of the lake was a bit like that of Jiuzhaigou.

The best place to view Kanas Lake, where you can basically see the whole view

By Chicken blood kelp pot - |

If you don't stay at the Fish Viewing Terrace, it is recommended to go there in the afternoon. The afternoon light is more suitable for taking photos. In order to have enough time to visit the Fish Viewing Terrace, it is best to leave before 2:30 pm. When you climb up the Fish Viewing Terrace, you can enjoy nearly 2/3 of Kanas Lake. I guess the water monsters should be crowded in that 1/3. I traveled thousands of miles to come here, but you are indifferent to me! I hate it! The viewing time of the Fish Viewing Terrace is about 3-4 hours, and the shuttle bus stops at 20:00.

By Houchang Village Villager A |

In winter, the main way to get to the Fish Viewing Platform is by snowmobile, but you can also walk there by yourself, which is said to take 2 hours one way. Kanas Lake is frozen in winter, and the scenery is different from that in summer and autumn, because there are mountains all around. If you want to take pictures of Kanas Lake without the shadow of the mountains, you have to go there around 3 o'clock. It's more than 6 o'clock to take pictures of the sunset.

By Travel Encyclopedia-White Deer |

If you have time, I suggest you visit the Fish Viewing Platform. After entering the Kanas Grand Scenic Area, you don't have to spend money on the Sanwan of Kanas. You can visit and take pictures repeatedly. It is suitable for those who need to take pictures of different light during in-depth tours. You need to pay for the Fish Viewing Platform again. Sometimes the scenic area has activities, and there are discounts if you buy directly at the window, so I caught up. Then I lined up to take the shuttle bus and you can play after you arrive. There is a toilet in the scenic spot. It will feel tiring to climb the stairs in one go, so I took a few photos while walking and took pictures. It took about 2 hours. It is best not to spend less than 2 days in Kanas.

Climbing the Fish-Watching Terrace is the last exclamation point in the itinerary of Kanas. Without climbing the Fish-Watching Terrace, you cannot appreciate the ultimate beauty of Kanas; without climbing the Fish-Watching Terrace, you cannot understand the true meaning of life. Unfortunately, the weather was not good. It rained heavily after we arrived at Wolong Bay. We had to give up the Fish-Watching Pavilion and took the shuttle bus back to Jiadengyu, leaving us with regrets.

I remember that Diaoyutai has more than 1,200 steps, which is quite high and difficult to climb.

By Ah, a duck |

Take a bus to the transfer center, then buy a zone ticket (60/person) to the fish viewing platform. It turned out that wearing a mask was a wise thing to do! The wind was too strong, and I felt dizzy without a hat. The water was really calm, and I was at a loss for words, hahaha

By Gao Mi |

We first climbed 1,086 steps along the shore of Kanas Lake to reach the Fish-Watching Terrace, the highest point of Kanas Lake. Although it was a bit tiring, from the Fish-Watching Terrace we could overlook the entire Kanas Lake, and the surrounding mountains, rivers, forests, lakes, grasslands and other exotic natural landscapes were all in sight, which was beautiful beyond words.

By Doleyan |

Buy tickets (60 yuan/person for the shuttle bus) and go directly to the Fish-Watching Terrace. There are not many tourists. We got off the shuttle bus and it took us half an hour to walk up the 1,068 steps. It was actually quite tiring.

You need to buy a ticket to go to the Fish Viewing Platform

You can reach the hotel by shuttle bus

You can also choose to ride a horse or walk

After the shuttle bus arrives, you still need to climb more than 1,000 steps to reach the top.

It's basically the best place for viewing.

You can see the panoramic view of Kanas Lake

You can take a boat trip below

It takes almost half a day to go to the Fish Viewing Platform

If you get up early

You can also go to Sanwan for a stroll.

The best viewing point of Kanas Lake is the Fish Viewing Platform on the top of the mountain. The plaque of the Fish Viewing Platform was inscribed by Yu Qiuyu. When you climb up the Fish Viewing Platform, you can see Kanas Lake lying lazily between the two mountains.

The fish-watching platform is equipped with a high-power telescope in the hope of satisfying the public's search for the legendary Kanas Lake Monster. None of us, and probably the tourists today, yesterday, or earlier, saw the lake monster, but despite this, everyone was still very excited.

"Fish-Watching Platform in Winter" This is almost the most popular attraction in Kanas Scenic Area in summer. Now there are few tourists, and even the trail leading to the viewing platform is covered with thick snow. It takes at least an hour to walk from the roadside to the viewing platform. It costs 200 yuan per person to take a snowmobile, and you can fly a drone to see the winter scenery of the Fish-Watching Platform.

On the first day, I went from the entrance of Jadengyu to the transfer center, bought a ticket for the Fish Viewing Terrace, and went directly to the Fish Viewing Terrace. The journey also took about 40 minutes. If you want to hike to the top, it is recommended to leave more time for climbing.

By Mi Ruo |

The Fish-Watching Terrace has a graceful and elegant shape. Under the shade of pines and fairy mist, it looks like the eaves of a dragon palace. The simple and bold lines remind people of the totem painted on the rock wall thousands of years ago, guarding this jade-colored source of life.

Borrowing a ray of purity from the blue sky, melting a drop of milky white milk, and adding a touch of the essence of turquoise, this sky-blue inkstone was refined. The moment it melts in water, it exudes a mysterious world.

The Fish Viewing Platform is the only location in the scenic area that overlooks the entire Kanas Lake.

There are 1,068 steps to the Fish-Watching Terrace. As you climb up the steps, you can discover different Kanas at different heights.

By Jia佳娘娘 |

The Fish Viewing Terrace has more than a thousand steps, which is quite strenuous! Take a minibus to the Fish Viewing Terrace from the transfer center, and you can have a panoramic view of Kanas Lake from the top floor of the Fish Viewing Terrace.

The white water marks in the lake are traces left by the passing boats! If you have time, you can take a boat tour of Kanas Lake.

It is said that this is the only best platform where one can stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kanas.

The beautiful scenery along the way is enough to attract you, and you can't stop sighing at the world in front of you.

The most stunning view of Kanas is at the Fish Viewing Platform. However, even with the shuttle bus, you still need to climb 1,068 steps to reach the small Fish Viewing Pavilion. When I climbed up the Fish Viewing Platform, I was out of breath. But when the blue lake of Kanas came into view, I felt refreshed instantly.

After climbing more than 1,100 steps to the fish-watching platform, the scenery is good, but for us who have just seen the sacred mountains and lakes in Tibet, we don’t feel anything at all. It is said that autumn is better.

On this morning in August 2010, climbing up to the Fish Viewing Platform is indeed the best place to see the panoramic view of Kanas Lake.

By Big Face Cat |

Without climbing up the Fish-Watching Terrace, you cannot appreciate the ultimate beauty of Kanas; without climbing up the Fish-Watching Terrace, you cannot understand the true meaning of life.

The reason why it is called the Fish-Watching Platform is that there is a rumor that a water monster has appeared in Kanas Lake. This high position is the best place to watch the water monster and also the best place to get a panoramic view of Kanas.

I was thinking where did all these water monsters come from for me to see, so I just went to take a look with the intention of seeing the scenery.

In the distance there are majestic mountains, golden pine and birch trees, and mountain peaks covered with snow.

There are a total of 1,068 steps to the Fish-Watching Terrace, winding upwards, but the path is wide and easy to walk on. The wind on the mountain is quite strong and the sun is quite dazzling, but since we came up in the afternoon, the sun was already relatively gentle.

The Fish-Watching Terrace is the best place to view the panoramic view of Kanas, so it would be a pity if you didn’t go to the Fish-Watching Terrace to have a look.

The rolling mountains behind the Guanyutai are covered with a layer of orange autumn clothes in the golden autumn season. Any photo taken here is beautiful.

By Hey girl |

To climb up to the Fish Viewing Terrace, you need to walk up 1,068 steps. You need to take a sightseeing bus first, and then climb the stairs. I was sweating all over! A shirt was enough, but it became cold again when I stopped. The temperature difference in Xinjiang is crazy. I sighed again that although the scenery was in season, the weather was still bad today. The sky was gray and there was no sunset.

By plateau |

Kanas is too big, it would be better to reserve 3-5 days for the tour. For tourists like us who are staying for a short time, we have to choose to go to the most famous Guanyutai scenic spot. Kanas Guanyutai, there are too many people~ Take a 30-minute minibus from the transfer station to the Guanyutai get-off and return parking lot. It takes 1,000 steps from the parking lot to the Guanyutai on the top of the mountain, which is quite physically demanding. My companion gave up climbing to the top because of his old age. I had to follow the crowd to the top of the mountain to overlook Kanas Lake. Many people choose to turn back halfway up the mountain! The Guanyu Pavilion is so close, I must insist, but I was wrong! There is not much difference between what I see after climbing to the top and what I see halfway up the mountain! Take pictures in a one-stop style! Going down the mountain... I saw a few small views when I went down the mountain, which were not bad.

By wynne |

The vertical height of the Fish-Watching Platform from the lake surface is about 660 meters, which is the best place to view Kanas Lake. The scenery from the bottom of the mountain to the Fish-Watching Platform is very beautiful. On the right is Kanas Lake, and on the left are various flowers and plants. You won't feel tired while climbing the mountain to see the scenery. There are a total of 1,068 steps from the bottom of the mountain to the Fish-Watching Platform.

By Xinyi |

There are more than a thousand steps on the plank road leading to the Fish-Watching Platform, and you can see a corner of Kanas surrounded by mountains and woods everywhere.

By meteor flow |

You need to take a bus or walk to the transfer center to buy a bus ticket to Guanyutai. When taking a bus at the transfer center, you must see the queues in each direction and don't get in the wrong line. On the way to Guanyutai, you will first pass by Kanas River, then pass by Xincun, and then go up the mountain road to the foot of Guanyutai. You have to climb 1,068 steps to overlook the panoramic view.

From the fish-watching platform, you can see the farthest part of Kanas Lake, but in fact, more than half of the area is still invisible. I thought I saw the sky on the top of the mountain, but it was actually the spruce trees on the lakeside. Kanas is sometimes baby blue and sometimes milk mint. I was shocked by the deep beauty of Kanas, and the leaves were flying in my heart. The patches of dogtail grass on the hillside were hazy with white glare in the sunset.

By Rurubella |

The 1,000 steps are equivalent to climbing Daping Mountain in Quanzhou. Climbing the Guanyu Terrace, you can not only see the highest peak of the Altai Mountains, "Friendship Peak" in the north, but also overlook the sparkling Kanas Lake, with three-quarters of the lake in full view, and enjoy the scenery of the mountains and peaks around the lake. The colorful forest dances in the sunset, and the cool breeze kisses the face of the wheat ears, which is magnificent.

By Dong Chunzhen |

You can store your things before going up to the Fish Viewing Terrace to reduce the burden of climbing. There are 1068 steps to the Fish Viewing Terrace. After 200 steps, your heart rate will accelerate and you will sweat profusely. The view of the Fish Viewing Terrace is very different from seeing it with your own eyes and looking at the signboard picture.

By Take your wife on a trip |

From the fish-watching platform, you can see the entire Kanas and Kanas Lake. In the distance are snow-capped mountains with clouds hanging on them. Below are large expanses of golden mountains. If you move the camera downward, you can see houses, grasslands, animals, and water.

By AT |

The Fish Viewing Platform was nominated by Mr. Yu Qiuyu and is the best place to overlook the entire Kanas beauty. Looking down at Kanas Lake, it is as peaceful as an emerald, and it is hard to imagine how it is related to the lake monster. However, it is said that many people have witnessed huge waves and unidentified creatures in the water from the Fish Viewing Platform. Unfortunately, I lacked some opportunities and did not witness the charm of the lake monster with my own eyes. I only saw the stunning beauty of nature.

The Fish-Watching Terrace is more suitable for photography enthusiasts and young people. It is not easy for the elderly and children to go up there. You can choose according to your own situation. Now the country has lowered the ticket price. The Fish-Watching Terrace only costs 20 yuan, and you can overlook the following beautiful scenery.

By Raw porridge |

The minibus climbed the winding mountain road and finally reached the halfway point. To reach the Fish Viewing Platform, you had to climb the last 1,000 steps by yourself.

You can see the entire Kanas Lake from the Fish-Watching Terrace.

By Sodo |

Standing on the fish viewing platform and looking at Kanas Lake is very beautiful, but the prerequisite is that you need to walk up 1,068 steps...

Since we went up early, there were not many people there yet, and we had a panoramic view of Kanas Lake.

By axls |

The Fish Viewing Platform is at the highest point of the Karakait Mountain, overlooking the panoramic view of Kanas. It takes 15 minutes by shuttle bus to the halfway point of the mountain, and then you start walking. There are more than 1,000 wooden steps. In this season, there will be frost on the wooden steps in the morning, and the road is too slippery. For safety reasons, cars are not allowed here in the morning. Kanas Lake is on the right. While climbing the mountain, you can enjoy Kanas Lake at various heights and angles!!!

There are four symmetrical strange shapes resembling wings on the top of the Fish-Watching Platform, which are said to be the tail of a lake monster and the wings of an eagle. People take pictures from all directions first. Countless people take commemorative photos here, but due to limited space, everyone takes photos of their faces.

The Fish-Watching Platform is 600 meters vertically away from the lake surface. From the platform, you can see the majestic mountains surrounding Kanas Lake. The farthest snow-capped peak is the Friendship Peak of the Altai Mountains. Further ahead is the direction of Russia, to the left is the direction of Kazakhstan, and to the right is the direction of Mongolia. Therefore, this is the junction of four countries and has extraordinary geographical significance.

Going up the mountain, you can see the lake; going down the mountain, you can enjoy the autumn scenery. Don't walk too fast, this journey needs to be enjoyed slowly. In front of you is the golden color all over the mountains against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains, as if different types of vegetation are all covered with golden coats. This is the unique autumn color of Kanas. At this time, the setting sun is shining on the hillside, like a dream.

It takes about 2 hours to visit the Fish Viewing Platform.
