The journey is not long, along the way there are Sailimu Lake Ring, Guozigou Bridge and Princess Jieyou Lavender Garden. Sailimu Lake Ring is more than 60 kilometers, the blue sky and clear water are suitable for self-satisfaction photos, and most of the lavender in Huocheng County is in full bloom this season. The classic attractions of Princess Jieyou Lavender Garden also include lavender distillation furnace, colorful flower fields, vanilla lovers, vanilla variety garden, lavender land landscape garden, lavender essential oil workshop and lavender street where tourists can buy products.

Soon after we entered the door, we found a sea of purple flowers in a corner of the garden. We rushed over excitedly, thinking it was lavender. But upon closer inspection, it was not. This purple flower might be called vanilla flower, but it was still very beautiful, and it did not prevent us from posing and showing off in it.

Walking further in, I saw a flower garden with many varieties of flowers, including some cultivated lavender. It was a real surprise. In any case, I got to see the true appearance of Ili lavender.

Finally, we arrived at the lavender garden that we saw in the pictures: a purple sea and sky. The imagined purple sea of lavender had been harvested, like a heavily made-up woman who had taken off her makeup, with only pieces of hard green flower stalks lined up in the field.

In the distance of the lavender garden are dense woods and vague mountains. Even without the purple lavender, the warm light at dusk is still very charming. People who like taking pictures know that the light at dawn and dusk is so beautiful. The photos taken are all warm colors, which makes it easy to produce pictures. This makes Yufeng and I particularly like this time. So even if there is no lavender, we can still take pictures crazily in the empty lavender garden without any flowers, and we are reluctant to leave. Yufeng took selfies and kept saying that the light at this time is so beautiful, and she wanted to stay a little longer and take more pictures.

The occasional tourists passing by, looking at us posing, running and jumping in the bare garden, would probably think that these two people were sick. But it was different with the calm and dignified Guilan. She sat on a bench at the edge of the garden in the distance and watched us admiringly for nearly an hour. She said to us helplessly, if the flowers were still there, you would probably have to stay here tonight.

Before coming here, I had always imagined what a purple sea it would be like. For this reason, I specially arranged this trip to Xinjiang in June. The lavender flowering period is really short. The best viewing period is from mid-June to late June, and then it will be harvested. The manor is actually not very big. At the beginning, there was a guide to visit a small museum, read some pictures and text clips, and learn some basic knowledge about lavender. Then we were taken to a small garden where different varieties of lavender were planted. Each variety was surrounded by wooden fences, in small squares, about a dozen or twenty squares, which means there were so many varieties. Everyone at that time was looking forward to wandering in the purple sea of flowers and didn't care about visiting multiple varieties. The whole group walked very fast. I paid a little attention to observe several varieties. It should be said that there are indeed differences in flower shape, color and fragrance. I don't have a deep impression of the flower shape, but I still have some memory of the color. Lavender is all purple, but with different shades. From the color, there are several varieties. As for the fragrance, I should say that I smelled the familiar rich lavender after entering the manor. When I arrived at the variety garden, the tour guide asked us to get close and smell the difference. Sure enough, I smelled several scents, and occasionally the smell of some varieties was not pleasant.

After visiting the museum and walking through the variety garden, the guide let us move freely and take photos. First, there was a colorful sea of flowers. The colorful flowers clustered together were also beautiful. Walking further back, we saw a purple sea. The lavender was in full bloom. The area was larger than the colorful sea of flowers, but it was not amazing. We could see the end of the four sides at a glance. In addition, there were so many tourists that there were people almost everywhere, so there was no feeling of wandering in the sea of flowers. We could only choose a place with fewer people to take a few photos of our visit. It was as we wished. After watching the lavender up close, I still want to see a wider and more spectacular sea of flowers next time.

Although this trip is free, almost everyone buys lavender products there, and the price is not cheap. When I went home and looked carefully, I found that Xinjiang is the entrusting party, and the entrusting party, that is, the manufacturer, is in Guangzhou. It is okay to visit the lavender fields for free or at your own expense, but it is really not recommended to buy things.

Huocheng County is located at the same latitude as Provence in France, a world-famous lavender producing area. The climate conditions and soil environment are very similar. It is one of the few areas in the world suitable for growing lavender and is known as the "Hometown of Chinese Lavender". Lavender has gradually become a unique business card for Huocheng and even Yili to enter the world's sight. The world-famous lavender has made the world remember Huocheng, a purple and passionate land. When the lavender blooms, the fragrant lavender sways in the wind. At this time, rent a bicycle and ride slowly along the field in the blue sky, white clouds and fragrant wind. Maybe you are willing to be a flower farmer or marry a flower farmer from now on! In addition to lavender, there are also large areas of yellow rapeseed, red potato flowers, and snow-green European mint flowers, like a rainbow coat forgotten by God on the earth.

(Purple romance blooms here

The purple mist-like lavender fields all over the mountains...

The bits and pieces of purple slowly merge into a purple river

The purple with blue weaves into a dreamy neon dress

Connected to it

It is mild weather

Lush distant mountains

Quiet River

Occasionally, one or two white clouds float in the blue sky, like an impressionist landscape...)

People's knowledge of lavender is as old as human history, with 2,500 years of application records. The most famous one is in the 16th century, when the "Black Death" was prevalent in Europe. A small town, because it was a lavender trade center, miraculously avoided the spread and spread of the "Black Death". Princess Jieyou's Lavender Garden is located in Qingshuihe Town, Huocheng County, Yili. It is said that the geographical location, climate conditions and soil environment here are very similar to those of Provence, France, the world-famous lavender producing area. Why is it called Princess Jieyou's Lavender Garden? It is to commemorate Princess Jieyou who married the Western Region Wusun Kingdom in the Western Han Dynasty. Princess Jieyou was the princess who made the greatest contribution to the Han Dynasty and the princess who made the greatest contribution to the marriage in Chinese history. She made important contributions to the development of the Khan and the Wusun Kingdom.

Princess Jieyou Lavender Garden did not meet the expectations of the friends in the first phase of the event. In fact, before going to the lavender garden, I knew that everyone was looking forward to and yearning for this attraction. After all, it is not easy to take pictures freely in a large lavender garden in the mainland.

By Dry Skiing |

The season was not right. The flowers and plants were not in full bloom yet. The area was very large. Lavender can be used to make skin care products. I bought an eye mask for 28 yuan. I lost it before I even used it. What a careless person.

By ekship |

Princess Jieyou Lavender Manor is about 10 kilometers west of Huocheng County, next to the national highway, with convenient transportation. The lavender area is not large, the scenery is average, and the ticket price is 35 yuan.

By 59697 |

We came to the "Princess Jieyou Lavender Base" under the scorching sun at noon. This is definitely a place that only tour groups go to. It is purely a shopping spot. There is a lavender theme pavilion inside that you can take a look at. There are classic French distillers, perfume tables, essential oils and lavender specimens. However, the lavender plantation here is very small and not worth a visit. It is not as good as the fields on the national highway. Don't buy the lavender ice cream sold here, it's super unpalatable!

By misonyo |

Tickets seem to be around 30

Cannot be compared with natural landscape

There is a special area next to the county town where lavender is planted for tourists to enjoy.

Why not go to the city park?

There aren't many lavender plants.

There is no such feeling of being unable to forget

There is a circle of trees planted next to the lavender

The photo taking effect is very bad

If you want to see lavender, it is recommended that you go to see large tracts of it grown on farms. I don’t recommend it here.

By Light boat life |

We also came to the Princess Jieyou Lavender Field. I had bought lavender products from Yili online before, but it was really different to experience it myself. Before we left, the tour leader said that July and August are the harvest season for lavender, and there may not be as many as in June. We thought it was okay and it was worth a visit. The tour leader's photography skills were not ordinary, after all, he was the one carrying a cannon, hahahaha

By Wandering Sleeper |

There is a large area of lavender in the scenic area, which is worth a visit for friends who like flowers. There are also introductions to lavender and places selling lavender-related products, such as lavender masks, etc. June is the flowering season for lavender, and the scenery is average at other times.

By Fluffy |

It's early June and not yet in full bloom, but it's already a charming purple. I saw many beautiful women taking photos with various props.

The lavender harvested in different seasons and various essential oils in the lavender museum are also educational.

Finally, the store also has a wide variety of products

The place is not big, but the scenery is still good. However, if it is bigger, it will be more beautiful. The lavender is in full bloom, but not densely.

The area is too small, which is far from what I expected. I am disappointed. It is worth at most 10 yuan for the ticket.

I learned about the working principle of steam distillation, admired the whole wall of lavender essential oils, and imagined the elegance of Provence in the East.

Smell the rich lavender scent in the wind, find a quiet place to sit down and talk about the story of Princess Jieyou.

You can only listen to the story, but the lavender-flavored ice cream is not to be missed.

However, the souvenir I bought this time actually came in handy. A bag of dried lavender flowers was divided into three sachets: one hung on my father's car, one in my grandfather's car, and one on my mother's pillow. It can be ranked in the top three most useful souvenirs in history!

In fact, in Huocheng Lucaogou, lavender is everywhere, and they are all open. I think that there are trees and houses in the distance, which is a beautiful background. There are not many people. It seems quite romantic. The color of the lavender was processed in the post-production here, hoping to have a different feeling.

I have never been to Provence, one of the three largest lavender growing bases in the world, but I have never been to the legendary Furano in Hokkaido, where you can see large tracts of lavender. Neither Does Hokkaido.

The flowering period of lavender is in mid-June. Master Wang did not take us to the lavender garden of Princess Jieyou, who came two weeks earlier, but to the free 65th group. Strolling between the ridges of the fields, pretending to have a lot of lavender expressions in front of the camera, everyone can be a drama queen. There are many lavender-related products in Japan, from bubble soda to ice cream, which can definitely satisfy the girlish feelings of most middle-aged women, while Huocheng seems to have only essential oils, which are more suitable for the back-opening love of most middle-aged men.

I have never liked purple anyway, so I can keep it on my back.

The blooming time varies slightly each year depending on the weather conditions, but is basically from June 10th to June 20th. Large tracts of blue-purple flowers in the vast fields sway in the wind like waves, and even the wind is filled with refreshing floral fragrance.

In fact, lavender is almost gone in August. The master helped us find some lavender from local farmers and bought some lavender products. Then I will tell you secretly: buy them online.

French Provence lavender was introduced to the Yili River Valley. Now the Yili lavender base has a planting area of more than 20,000 acres. The blue sky, the clean sunshine, the bright golden sunflowers, and the large expanses of lavender that are like deep purple waves, these pure colors have always been my deepest childhood hometown memories. In summer, lavender blooms, and the purple-blue sea of flowers undulates with the wind, like a dream extending from the earth. The area within a radius of several miles is shrouded in the rich fragrance of lavender. Its smell is faint, but extremely penetrating, as if it can penetrate into the blood and penetrate the soul.

By Quicksand Jasmine |

Under the setting sun, the purple-blue sea of flowers undulates with the wind, as if it is a psychedelic dream extending across the earth. The world in front of us is shrouded in the rich fragrance of lavender, and the faint smell seeps into our blood, telling a romantic story. Facing the setting sun, closing your eyes slightly, listening to the mountain breeze carrying the singing of bees, the whole person becomes soft and insignificant, becoming a half-asleep and half-awake happiness footnote in the mountains.

After leaving the flower field, the hostess of the manor warmly invited us to eat watermelon. Sitting on low stools made of logs, facing the endless purple and blue sea of flowers, taking a bite of refreshing and sweet watermelon, I will probably never forget that kind of happiness.

By Good luck |

You can’t miss lavender. Although it is no longer the lavender season, many farmers still keep a small piece of lavender field for viewing, so that those of us who have never seen a large area of lavender can enjoy it.

By Y |

I went to the Princess of Han, but I heard that the Princess of Jieyou is bigger! However, some of the large lavender fields on the roadside are also nice!

The lavenders in many parks do not bloom synchronously, some bloom later, some bloom earlier, in order to attract tourists for a longer period of time and avoid a one-time sale, because the lavender flowering period is only a few days. This also makes it difficult for you to see large areas of blooming lavender, but only a piece of it, with a gap between green and yellow!

By ARIES |

Every June in Huocheng, tens of thousands of acres of lavender fields merge into a purple ocean, and the rich fragrance of lavender is everywhere.

By Off-road books |

A faint fragrance wafted into the car from the wilderness, and then the car was plunged into layers of purple waves. The mountains and fields were dyed dark purple by lavender, which contrasted with the snow-capped mountains looming in the distance, adding a touch of romance.

We caught up with the lavender blooming season, but this place is still suitable for girls. We are a group of rough guys, in the purple flower field, whether we are leaning over to smell the flowers or gazing into the distance and intoxicated by ourselves, it is unbearable to look at it directly.

By Excellent Ryoshi |

There are lavender farms everywhere near Huocheng, but because they are not connected together, each piece is not very big, which is a pity. If they can be connected like the Zhaosu basil flowers, it will be more spectacular. It is worth a visit. You can smell the fragrance before entering the farm. If you come in June, there will still be some in early July. After mid-July, they have been harvested. The remaining ones are also for viewing, not too many.

By Blue Melancholy |

The lavender has not yet bloomed, and is mostly in the bud stage, but its fragrance is already intoxicating.

By Wei Yishan |

The 65th Regiment has the largest lavender production, and they plant lavender all over the mountains. However, the 65th Regiment has not developed a specific scenic spot. You can navigate to the 65th Regiment and find a local guide to take you to a very large lavender field. Generally, you can pay five or ten yuan. The local guide didn't even charge us, and let us just look around. However, the lavender planted outside is not planted in rows like Princess Jieyou, so the photo effect will be worse.

By Yingzi |

As soon as I entered the garden, I was submerged in the purple ocean. Looking out, the smoky green forest and the vast snow-capped mountains merged with the white clouds in the distance, forming a beautiful background. Such a pure watercolor ink picture stood in front of me, and I lost the ability to express myself. The rich lavender fragrance filled the whole body with an atmosphere of happiness and tranquility.

By Weather Face |

The flower language of lavender is waiting for love, and it also symbolizes purity, cleanliness, protection, gratitude and peace. The continuous purple ocean reveals the yearning for love. If you don't go to Provence, how can you miss Yili now that you are here? Purple is melancholy, mysterious and romantic. Flowers are a temptation that most girls can't resist. Then lavender is the dream of a girl swaying on the ridge of the field. Walking in the muddy sea of flowers, the air is extremely fresh after the rain, and the rich fragrance is carried by the refreshing wind across the endless fields. I always can't tell the difference between sage and lavender. They feel so similar. In a trance, I think of the Middle Ages, the unique ethnic costumes, the calls of the vendors, and the smell of various spices in the market. Beehives can be seen everywhere, and beekeepers come here to collect honey in season. Lavender-flavored honey, will it feel like drinking essential oil soap?

The dreamy lavender has been given a romantic name. But in my eyes, purple, yellow and green are interlaced everywhere I look. This is simply a lavender + matcha flavored cake. There are many lavender fields in Huocheng County. I don’t want to go to the crowded Princess Jieyou Lavender Garden, so I went straight to the lavender sea of the 8th Company of the 65th Regiment. Sometimes it is windy and rainy, sometimes it is sunny, and the road is muddy and ridges. Yili needs lavender, and Zhaosu belongs to rape flowers. From the hazy rain to the clear sky, there are grasslands, streams, horses, smoke and felt houses along the way. How can it be comfortable~ Huocheng has become the Provence of the East, accounting for 95% of the country's lavender planting area and lavender essential oil production.

By Panda Slow Travel |

Purple is a romantic encounter with Huocheng lavender. Yili lavender enters its peak flowering period in mid-June every year and begins to be harvested in late June. The flowering period is very short, and we are lucky to be able to catch up. When it comes to lavender, everyone's first reaction is actually Provence in France, the world's lavender hometown, which has long been well-known to the public. Yili in Xinjiang is located at the same latitude as Provence, and the climate and soil conditions are also similar. The environment is very suitable for lavender growth. It is the only lavender growth base in China and the Provence of the East. The car drove into Qingshuihe Town, and you can see large tracts of lavender farmland on both sides of the road. The purple sea of flowers is a surprise, and the air is filled with the fragrance of lavender, which is a romantic flavor. The most famous Princess Jieyou Lavender Manor, in addition to the lavender sea, there are also various lavender processed products, but it is full of people. People who buy tickets line up in a long queue, and the ticket still costs thirty yuan. If you just want to take pictures, you can choose a nice farmland according to your preferences. Farmlands are usually guarded by people. There will be some props in the sea of lavender. In fact, it is similar to taking pictures of rapeseed flowers in Qinghai Lake. Remember that in Qinghai Lake, the rapeseed flowers are blocked by barbed wire, and it is difficult to take pictures from the outside, forcing you to "buy a ticket" to enter the flower field. There is also a fee to enter the sea of lavender, ten yuan per person. However, because the lavender plants are short, you can see them at a glance. The boss will not say anything if you stand outside and take a few photos. Squatting by the flowers is rich in fragrance. The fragrance of lavender has a calming effect. The sea of flowers makes people feel happy.

By Fat Man |

Maybe it's out of season, so I didn't see large tracts of lavender. There are many fences on the roadside, with some shapes for people to enter and take pictures, but there should be a charge.

By blank |

I read online that lavender blooms twice a year: one season from the end of May to mid-June, harvested at the end of June; one season from July to August, harvested again at the end of September. And there are so many places to see lavender on the Internet, but in fact, I found that it is not as beautiful as I imagined. At present, the cultivation of lavender itself is less possible than before, and many of them are planted in manors to attract tourists. I found a lavender field of decent size in the 65th Regiment (a little further from the Princess Jieyou Garden), and it was in bloom, but unfortunately the flowers were not in full bloom.

By Ice |

The peak flowering period of Huocheng lavender is at the end of June. I went to the Princess Jieyou Lavender Manor with the idea of trying my luck. I could still see the flowers. After all, this is a scenic spot, not a free flower field on the roadside. The manor is filled with strong floral fragrance. You can learn about various knowledge about lavender and take beautiful photos. As expected, the lavender will be cut in early July, and some will be left for tourists to enjoy.

On October 5, 2017, Huo County was really big. We crossed the Guozigou Bridge to the Horgos Port and headed towards Yining. We made a special trip to Princess Jieyou's lavender garden.

In October, the purple ocean can no longer be seen in the Wanmu Grass Garden. Only a small piece of dried lavender remains for tourists to take photos.

Everyone was looking at the lavender that was half a person's height. The men had no interest in taking pictures. Only a few crazy women ran into the grass, posing and shaping. Fortunately, the temperature here was much warmer than the north side of the mountain, and the sun was out. I heard that lavender likes places with a large temperature difference between morning and evening and strong sunshine. French Provence lavender can only be grown and survived near Yining, Xinjiang.

Provence in the East is the easiest place to make photos. It is also a battlefield for female compatriots to show off their various styles. It is one of the popular attractions in Xinjiang in June and July. Highly recommended!

By Arrowpu |

In early June, lavender still looks like a young girl. The unopened buds are a bit arrogant, holding the fragrance tightly in their arms. Looking around, the light purple floats on the green stems, as soft and sticky as a cloud. Sometimes you will encounter a field of blooming lavender flowers, trying to open the deep purple petals, warm and unrestrained...

By Like smoke |

Most of the lavender had been harvested. I saw a lavender field on the side of the road and stopped to take pictures.

The lavender in Huocheng is not as good as advertised. In fact, the tens of thousands of acres of lavender are almost invisible. All the lavender in Huocheng added together only has 20,000 acres.

It is about 90km away from Yining city and about 1.5 hours’ drive. I don’t recommend the most famous Princess Jieyou Lavender Garden, but the 8th Company of the 65th Regiment, which is much better than the commercial lavender farms, with lavender all over the mountains.

By 86 |

The lavender garden planted by farmers near the 65th Regiment. You can take photos freely by paying the farmer 10 yuan. The weather is cloudy and the light is average.

The 10,000-acre lavender garden has just been built, and the lavender is growing sparsely. It may be better in a few years.

By Ups and downs |

But when we got there, we felt a completely different scene. We thought that as soon as we arrived in Huocheng, both sides of the road were covered with lavender. We only saw that the buildings and houses on both sides of the road were painted purple. There were not many lavender gardens, and they were scattered here and there. We didn't see any large-scale ones. We also walked to the more famous Sangong Township, but basically returned empty-handed. Later, we walked to Princess Jieyou Lavender Manor and saw tourists and vehicles outside the manor. We decided to try our luck at Princess Jieyou Lavender Farm in Lucaogou Town.

Actually, we had no idea what the farm was like at that time. Fortunately, we went to Princess Jieyou Lavender Farm and saw endless lavender in front of us. We were not disappointed. It was sunset, and we stood in the world of lavender, smelling the faint fragrance of flowers, wandering in the purple ocean, as if a fairy tale door was slowly opening to us.

By Fish |

The flower fields are full of rich aromas. Rows of lavender extend to the distant hillside, bordering the golden rapeseed flowers, and spreading to the snow-capped mountains in the distance. Wear a white dress and jump in the purple ocean. Of course, sun protection must be done well. The ultraviolet rays in Xinjiang are not generally strong. If the back of your hand is not carefully ignored, it will become a "mafia"!

This place is somewhat different from what I imagined. I thought there would be a lot of scenery or props suitable for taking photos, but there weren't. There was a little overhead light in the afternoon, so you should go there in the morning to take photos. If you go from Yining, the first stop should be the lavender farm, then the Horgos Port, and then the Sailimu Lake. This way you won't have to go back. You can follow my travel notes and hope it can help you

Huocheng's lavender is mainly grown on farms of several former construction corps, and the more famous 65th Corps is one of them. But overall, the planting area is not too concentrated, and there are always patches here and there, without forming an endless effect. In the lavender fields of the 65th Corps, we saw domestic quality and French varieties. Compared with domestic varieties, the color is richer and the flower spikes are larger.

The 68th group of lavender, the characteristic here is that you can see the mountains in the distance, and some snow-capped mountains (obstructed by trees)

June should be the best time. I went there in mid-July, and there were not many lavenders and many mosquitoes.

You can see lavender fields on both sides of the highway. As a middle-aged woman who has been brainwashed by Provence, I have no resistance to this purple sea of flowers. It is the right season and the right place. It is unreasonable not to get off the car and clock in. The lavender fields here are planted by households. Each family has its own land. There is a fee to enter the farmland. It is okay to just take two photos outside. It is in full bloom. There are many bees in the flower fields, buzzing.

As soon as you open the car door, you will be greeted by the fragrance of flowers. The area is filled with fragrance for miles. It is the peak flowering period, with piles of purple flowers blooming in great abundance. Large tracts of lavender are like dark purple waves. The only drawback is that the planting here is a bit scattered.

It was beautiful, but later in my trip I found that the lavender in the 8th Company of the 72nd Regiment in Xinyuan was even better.

If you come to Yili in June, lavender is its signature attraction, who wouldn’t want to come?

Lavender in the farmland, the location of CCTV's "Home Far Away". This is the farmland without public service facilities

Because we didn't plan to go to the paid attractions, we set the destination of our navigation to the 65th Regiment of the 4th Agricultural Division. We stopped to take pictures when we saw the beautiful sea of flowers on the way. We thought someone would come to collect the money halfway through the photo shoot, but there was no one. There was another couple in the flower field who had just come out of the Princess Jieyou. According to them, this nameless flower field was more beautiful than the Princess Jieyou. We would be sorry if we didn't stop to take more pictures.

Actually, I saw some comments online before that Princess Jieyou Lavender Farm was not very good. But after I saw it, I found that it was not as good as what was said online. It is a very large farm with snow-capped mountains as the background. It can be photographed to make it look like it stretches to the horizon. This is thanks to our chartered driver Xiao Ma. Friends who need it can contact him. He is handsome, has good driving skills and better service. WeChat and phone number are the same: 13779517828

If you have time, you should go and have a look. Although it was not the blooming period of lavender when we went there, we learned a lot of relevant knowledge and satisfied our desire to shop.

Actually, I had not originally planned to go to the lavender garden, but I went there by accident, and it was the best encounter.

This is what lavender smells like. It seems strange when you first try it, but you will like it more and more. It is very unique.

When we arrived at Huocheng, the sky was completely clear, so we were able to perfectly enjoy the dream world woven by blue sky, white clouds and purple lavender in the sunny morning. The small houses in Huocheng are all purple, as if they are an extension of the lavender garden.

I went to the Princess Jieyou Lavender Garden. I went in around 7:00. I think it’s best to go there around 8:00. You’re not allowed in after 8:30. It gets dark late here, and the best view is at sunset.

For those who like taking photos, lavender is not as easy to photograph as verbena, because verbena is almost as tall as a person, while lavender only reaches the knee. For the people of Huocheng, lavender is an important economic crop.

The season when we went there was not when lavender was in full bloom. After searching for a long time, we only found a relatively well-bloomed lavender field near the 68th group. If you want to buy lavender products, go to the more mature Hanjia Princess Manor or Jieyou Princess Manor. But if you want to take beautiful photos, it is recommended to go to the wild and slowly look for a piece of virgin land that belongs to you. Of course, friends with the tour group should honestly follow the bus into the manor.

Whether you go to the Corps' private plot or the manor, there is no entrance fee. The difference is that the private plot is more primitive and natural, while the manor is suitable for shopping.

Lavender is in full bloom in mid-June and is worth seeing.

Great! The weather is great today. The lavender in the Qingshui River Caoweigou farm is great... The view is wide. If you want the boss's postcard, send me a private message

You will pass by it on the way to the port and Saihu Lake. You can go and see it during the lavender season.

The most famous planting bases in the area are the Princess Jieyou Lavender Garden in Qingshuihe Town and the 65th Regiment of the Fourth Agricultural Division. We chose to go to the latter (because we thought there were too many people in the Princess Jieyou Garden).

The 65th Regiment of the 4th Agricultural Division was not easy to find. I asked many locals along the way and finally found the huge flower field deep in the path with the help of a Kazakh uncle on a motorcycle.

As soon as I opened the car door, I was greeted by the overwhelming fragrance of flowers. It was the peak flowering season, with piles of purple flowers blooming in great abundance. The blue sky, clean sunshine and clear air, and the vast expanse of lavender were like undulating waves of deep purple, forming a dream of the earth that could not be awakened. The area within a radius of several miles was shrouded in the rich fragrance of lavender.

The only drawback is that the lavender planting in Huocheng County is slightly scattered, so the viewing experience is not particularly good.

The best season for flower viewing is generally from mid-June to July each year. There is also a second season of flowers blooming from late August to early September, but the amount of planting in autumn is not large, so it is not worth going there specially to see them.

The specific flowering time of each year depends on the temperature of the climate, and there are differences every year. You can pay attention to the relevant information of the "Huocheng Lavender Festival" on the Internet for reference. The peak flowering period lasts for about half a month, and the harvesting time is from east to west, 65th, 70th, and 71st groups, staggered by about a week.

The endless lavender is so beautiful~~~~~

Huocheng, Yili, Xinjiang is one of the three largest lavender planting bases in the world. Although the lavender planting area in Huocheng is large, it is relatively scattered, which is suitable for taking some portraits or small scenes! Generally, you can watch it in the manor or the fields of fellow villagers. The best time is around June 15th every year!

I was still a little disappointed. I wanted to see a sea of flowers, but I only saw a small piece.

By smiled |

Since it was the wrong season, I thought I wouldn't be able to see lavender, but I didn't expect there were still some on the roadside. I parked the car in the parking strip on the side of the road and came to the side of the lavender. There was an observation deck inside the fence, but when I asked the people at the fence, they said you had to pay to go in, so I didn't want to pay, so I just took some pictures from outside!

They are all large-scale planting bases and have their own processing plants. Standing in the sea of flowers will make you feel relaxed and happy!

By Little roses in the wild |

The lavender was not as beautiful as I imagined. It was grown by local farmers. What was not very nice was that they asked us to pay for taking photos!

By Cam |

It was not the lavender season when we visited, but since we were in Yili, we naturally had to visit the lavender planting base in Huocheng and buy some lavender products.

Compared to the lavender fields in Hokkaido, Japan, the lavender fields planted in various homes in Huocheng seem small in scale... like a mini version of the flower fields in Hokkaido.
