The Bagua streets of the city were not clear, but the mountains around Tekes were in full view. The Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermillion Bird, and Black Tortoise all surround Tekes, and it is indeed a place with excellent Feng Shui (although I don’t understand Feng Shui, but the momentum is there).

The kvass + lamb bones in the street night market are not high-end but they are delicious in my heart. There was such a dreamy night when I drank kvass in Tekes. The only regret in Tekes is that I didn't go to Kalajun.

We drove up the mountain along the road opened by the weather station, climbing one hill after another, turning uphill, and often couldn't see the road ahead, but when we reached the top of the mountain, it was flat and very open. There were rat holes everywhere on the grass. Those rats looked strange, with pointed mouths, big ears, long arms and long tails. They were very brave and not afraid of people. They ran around our feet. We thought it was fun, so we chased them all over the mountain. The sky was as blue as a wash, and the clouds were wandering leisurely. The pleasing tranquility and harmony were memorable. On the mountain, you can clearly see the Tekes Bagua City.

You can choose a special homestay, the accommodation conditions are worse than hotels, there is no air conditioning, but generally there is a yard, there are many places to eat in the city, but they are not very good, the price is too expensive, and the food is average. You can have a Ferris wheel, but you can't see the whole city. At night, you can go to the central square of Bagua City to stroll around. There are many people and it is lively.

Secondly, there is a Ferris wheel in Bagua Park at the edge of Bagua City. According to the hotel owner, the viewing effect is not good. Tekes is very small, and there is only one or two kilometers from the center of Bagua to the periphery. Bagua Park itself is quite well-made.

There is no building from which you can see the entire view of Tekes County, and there are no more tourist programs to view Bagua City by hot air balloon or helicopter, so you can just wander around the county.

Walking through the urban area is no different from that of an ordinary county town. Although there are no traffic lights, there are many speed cameras. All main roads lead to the Bagua Altar in the city center. If you want to see the Bagua map of the entire urban area, you need to go to the Ferris wheel in a park on the edge of the city. We walked around the Bagua Altar in the center and found a folk customs street called Lijie on Bostan Street.

Lijie is a small street with folk customs and a strong commercial design. 80% of the residents are Kazakhs, and the remaining 20% are Han, Mongolian, Kyrgyz, Hui and Uyghur. The walls of each household are decorated with different brick carvings and three-dimensional paintings, and the patterns on the doors of each house also reflect the characteristics of different ethnic groups. When we were almost reaching Tekes, we saw a Ferris wheel in the distance. It should be used to view the panoramic view of Bagua City, but it was not running. It might be because it was late, or it might be because the road next to it was closed.

Tekes is building roads from the town to the outside of the town, hoping that the road can be built while retaining the charm of Bagua City.

The original plan was to climb up to see Bagua City, but due to time constraints and difficulty finding a climbing point, we finally gave up on this trip.

However, the gossip atmosphere in the county town seems to be increasingly indifferent. Apart from the impressive Bagua Central Square, Bagua Park and the Bagua Eye Ferris Wheel, the rest of the atmosphere seems to be very weak.

It was originally said that you could take a hot air balloon to overlook Bagua City from the sky, but unfortunately it has been closed for a long time.

Xinjiang has a strict security system, which is particularly evident when entering Tekes.

Everyone has to get off the bus and scan their ID card to pass.

Tekes is the only Bagua City in China with complete buildings and neat roads, and it looks very spectacular from aerial perspectives.

The road is very distinct due to its unique Bagua shape, and it is easy to identify the direction if you are in the county town. If you really can't find it, you can go back to the center.

The center of the city is People's Square. Judging from the promotional posters, the square will hold cultural activities from time to time, so it must be very lively.

From the city center, you can see hot air balloons rising slowly not far away. At least in my opinion, the appearance of hot air balloons in such a remote place is a rare sight.

The food in the food court tastes good, and the mutton has no smell at all. This is a fruit town, and the apples and apricots are very delicious. Tekes is also a semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral area, with a lot of corn, sunflowers and other crops planted in the fields surrounded by windbreaks.

Entering Bagua City, I didn't know where the so-called Bagua City was. I stopped the car and asked the owner of a small shop nearby. He said this is it, because I was in the mountains. Then I found that we were in Kan Gua Street. And it was very close to the center of the Bagua. There was an entrance fee, but it was not expensive, 20 or 40, I don't remember. There were some photos and historical evolution inside. It is said that there was a high platform on the roof to see the whole city, but it has been demolished.
