The weather is bad today. The mountain is shrouded in clouds and fog, and visibility is very low. Last time my friend climbed Daming Mountain, he also encountered this kind of weather. It seems that there is a lot of rain and fog here.

The first thing you see after getting off the cable car is Daming Lake. It's nothing special. You can just take a look and leave. Then you will go through a few caves and walk on the suspended plank road for a long time. Some places on the plank road are still very steep. It should be noted that if the fog on the mountain is too heavy, the scenic area will close the slide for a period of time and reopen it depending on the weather conditions.

It is said that the slide is quite thrilling, but if there are too many tourists, the distance between the front and the back cannot be widened. If you encounter timid or unskilled operators, everyone will be stuck together, which is very depressing. Because it is a single slide, you cannot overtake.

When we reached the iron rope crossing, there were obviously more tourists, because this is where various roads converge, and from here you can hike down the mountain.

At the bridgehead of the iron rope crossing, there will be people from the scenic area who will take photos of you. When you go down the mountain, you can find your portrait on the wall at the exit for 10 yuan. If it is foggy and there is no scenery behind you, it is better to avoid letting them take photos of you, as it will be a waste of your feelings.



The downside is that the vegetation in the mountains is very lush, and with dark clouds, the whole tone is eerie. Sometimes you can't see anyone in front or behind, and suddenly an unknown insect suddenly jumps out and flies past you. Even with a rich imagination like me, I would still be scared.

It took them an hour and a half to hike up the mountain, and it took me 40 minutes to get down the mountain to the parking lot. During that time, my friend was worried and called me twice. At that time, my phone already displayed "Please plug in the charger", so I disliked him in my heart.

In the end, I walked down the mountain and arrived at the exit of the scenic area an hour earlier than them who took the cable car. I sat on the sofa in the tourist service center until I was almost asleep and then I saw their tired figures.

They texted me on the mountain: there were so many people coming down the mountain, and it took 40 minutes to queue up for the bus. I was secretly happy and replied: I had already taken a nap at the tourist service center. Haha!

What happened next? There is nothing much to say about what happened next. We gathered and went to Damingshan Restaurant for lunch. We returned home around 2pm. It only took 3.5 hours to get back to Suzhou from Damingshan. Of course, our bus driver had good driving skills, and drove steadily and quickly, because I heard from the people who came back last time that it took them 4.5 hours.

In the summer, when you visit Daming Mountain, there is plenty of rain and the waterfalls are beautiful. It is very pleasant to walk on the wooden plank road on the mountain.

The entrance is surrounded by mist and looks like a fairyland. You have to pay to enter. Remember to get a tourist map after entering this gate.

It takes about 25 minutes to take the park's small bus up the mountain. There is a staircase in front of the right. People who want to climb the mountain can climb up from here. You can also get off here. This is a place for getting on and off passengers. After getting off here, wait for the small bus to take you down the mountain. We continued to take the bus up.

Did you see the covered bridge above the waterfall? It is actually another way to go down the mountain - grass skiing. You can also buy tickets from the top. We chose to take the cable car up and walk down the mountain. It was a wise decision because it was raining heavily when we arrived at the transfer point for going down the mountain.
