I just passed by and didn't go out to see the scenery. These natural landscapes are all passed down from history. Some of the park's recreational facilities, such as the tractor, can be charged, but no one uses them.

By Hidden |

Daqishan Forest Park lives up to its reputation, it feels a bit like a small Jiuzhaigou. The shouting spring at the entrance of the scenic area is quite interesting. Later, I was amazed to see the mountain and water waterfall. The water is beautiful. I will come again if I have the chance.

By Traveling in Hangzhou's Outer Circle |

I think this attraction shouldn't charge a fee. Since it's called a park, it really does look like a park, no different from any other park you visit. It's a park for Tonglu people, so I won't get involved. It's not worth the money.

By Don't throw away the fish |

We went on May 3rd. While not as crowded as other attractions, the crowds were still greater than the water flow at Daqishan Canyon. Several water reservoirs had dried up, preventing the formation of artificial waterfalls. Instead, water flowed down from pipes below the reservoirs. The path up the mountain was artificially narrow and steep, likely to mask the lackluster scenery. It wasn't particularly child- and elderly-friendly (even kindergarteners under 120cm tall had to buy a 40% discount). Some reservoirs were deep, lacking staff or rescue equipment. The downhill slide was a popular tourist attraction, but it was actually very short and easy. It was deliberately made difficult at the ticket office, and the staff's hype encouraged some people to choose the slide. All of this suggests poor management at the scenic area. While the ticket price is reasonable, I wouldn't recommend it.

This place is not worth visiting! It's just a ravine.

Daqishan National Forest Park is located on the south bank of Fuchun River. Unfortunately, it is not well developed and is not very popular.

Daqi Mountain, also known as "Saiji Mountain", is known as "the first famous mountain in Jiangnan". There are mountains, strange rocks, canyons, streams and waterfalls in the area, which are famous for their grandeur, danger, strangeness, beauty and vastness.

By Poor White Rabbit |

The price was ¥65 per person, and there were a lot of activities for both adults and children, so it was quite worth it. There weren't many people there on October 6th, and I had a lot of fun climbing the mountain. Some of the water features along the road are mostly man-made, but the route is very interesting, with various suspension bridges and rope bridges. However, many places are narrow and lack guardrails, so I wouldn't recommend bringing very young children. The zipline down was quite fun and a bit exciting. They said it was only ¥150 for five people, but it was a bit too short. Overall, I recommend it if you're on your way. P.S. It's very close to Tonglu city.

There is really not much water in October, I don’t know about other months

October is not worth it

By Ant |

I don't know who gave this mountain the title of "Number One in Jiangnan". The scenery was terrible and there were so many people. I really regretted it all the way down.

There's a slide down the mountain. There are stairs leading down next to the slide ticket office. These stairs are easy to walk down, but don't believe the people at the ticket office. To get you to buy a slide ticket, they'll make the stairs look dangerous.

By cara224 |

The scenic spots have impressive names like "Heavenly Lake" and "Flying Waterfall," but the actual scenery is disappointing. The area management is also poor. The sign for the way down the mountain points directly to the slide, which costs 50 yuan per person. I didn't want to take it because it was unsafe, but the staff didn't even tell me how to get there. Instead, they offered me a discount and let me take it down the mountain. It's a bit nerve-wracking for the faint of heart. The claim that it's called "Jiuzhaigou, the First Mountain of Jiangnan" is overstated.

By Jason |

There are unscrupulous vendors on the way up the mountain who mislead you about the way up the mountain. You can go directly up the mountain, but they insist on going to the store.

By Airking |

I went there in winter, so there were very few people. It was foggy and beautiful, like a fairyland on earth. The water here is known as the Little Jiuzhaigou, turquoise and clear. Driving to Tonglu is a great option, as the food there is excellent and it's a great place to relax.

By Drift Bottle |

The scenery is lush and green, the air is fresh, and the waterfall runs through the entire area with a considerable drop. Taking advantage of the waterfall and the mountain, several small dams were artificially built. People can walk on them, enjoy the sound of the waterfall, and breathe in the fresh air. It feels great.

By renee |

Upon entering, you're greeted by a lush bamboo forest, a natural oxygen bar and a splendid supply of negative ions. However, not far ahead lies the winding mountain path. The scenery is breathtaking, but the path itself is also full of twists and turns! Iron-bar trails, wooden stick suspension bridges, single-cable suspension bridges, stepless slopes, fenceless mountain paths, and gravel jumps offer a constant surprise (and a bit of a scare). After successfully climbing the mountain, it was almost dusk, and the descent was a bit more challenging.

By Yao Yan |

The environment is not bad, not small, the air is fresh, you can still go and have a look

By Alysa |

The scenery at Daqishan is somewhat similar to Baiyunyuan, feeling like a condensed version of Baiyunyuan. The water is crystal clear, and the colors are vibrant in the sunlight, truly earning its reputation as a "Little Jiuzhaigou." Although I visited Jiuzhaigou several years ago, I was still amazed by the water here. I never imagined such well-preserved water quality could be found so close to a major city. The hike to the top takes about an hour, and the entire scenic area takes only two to three hours. The walking distance isn't too much, making it suitable for children.

By China-TravelNote users |

Tickets must be booked online in advance and are valid for 2 hours. The park boasts stunning natural scenery. Highly recommended! Rope bridges and suspension bridges allow you to traverse the forest and over streams.

Daqishan, also known as "Saiji Mountain," is historically known as "the most famous mountain in Jiangnan." Its mountains, grotesque rocks, canyons, and waterfalls are renowned for their grandeur, treacherous terrain, unique beauty, and vastness. On the south bank of the Fuchun River, it's a comprehensive forest park that combines Jiangnan's mountains and grasslands. However, we arrived too late, barely making it before 5 p.m., making us the last tourists in the area. Then, the unfortunate events unfolded:

1. As the saying goes, the forest park has lush vegetation, and in the summer, there are many mosquitoes. I guess we became their only targets as soon as we entered the park. Even spraying mosquito repellent was useless.

2. After walking about 1/2 of the way, we were told that the cable car down the mountain had stopped operating and it was too late... So we had to go back the same way. It was as hot as a dog along the way.

What was even cuter was that when we were leaving the park, we saw three buses carrying a group of tourists. It was almost 7 o'clock at this time (according to the scenic spot regulations, the latest entry into the park is 5 o'clock). While I was still confused, I saw their tour guide just took a group photo at the gate and that was it... and left... I was speechless.

By Little Moduotuo |

The route is lush and verdant, with plank roads, rope bridges, and streams to explore at a leisurely pace. However, the climb up the mountain is quite treacherous, and there are no safety measures, so be extra cautious with children. I'm afraid of heights, so most of the time, my child led me and told me to walk on the inside. The entire circuit took over three hours, and I was drenched in sweat, mostly from fear, not the heat.

By Arthur |

The scenery is nice, the air is fresh, and the water is crystal clear. The mountain is not high, and it takes about two or three hours to go back and forth, which is suitable for weekend leisure.

By Redemption from Hell |

This scenic spot, known as "Little Jiuzhaigou", should be a pleasant surprise to parents who have never been to the real Jiuzhaigou.

By Summer Winnie the Pooh |

Known as the Little Jiuzhaigou, the mountain streams are emerald green, and there are waterfalls on the top of the mountain. It is suitable for company team building.

It's a beautiful place. The mountain is not high, but you can see the Fuchun River from the top! It's worth a visit!

The road up the mountain is difficult and slippery, but the scenery is okay.

The mountain is so beautiful, the water is so clear, you can see fish swimming at least 15 meters away! The clearest water I've ever seen!!! Great!

By lila |

Although the mountain is not high, the scenery along the way is very beautiful, it is worth the trip

By Yuanzi Candy |

I love mountain climbing, and since I went with my camera, I naturally felt quite satisfied after completing the hike. The air was incredibly fresh, and the scenery was quite nice. Surprisingly, the mountain wasn't too high or too steep, making it one of the easiest climbs I've ever made. It barely felt like climbing at all (probably because I was taking photos and stopping frequently).

It was probably the off-season when I went there, so the waterfall was very small, about the same size as Sanchi Bailing, but that didn't affect my praise for it. I took a lot of good photos because I have an eye for beauty.

By vincent |

On the way to Qiandao Lake, the scenery is nice, with flowing water and climbing mountains. There are many similar scenic spots in Zhejiang Province.

By Haiyang |

Daqishan National Forest Park is very close to Tonglu County, arriving in just a few minutes from the highway. Since it hadn't rained in a while, the water inside Daqishan Forest Park was low, and the waterfalls had dried up. Upon entering the main gate, the tall, cool bamboo forest created a tranquil and cool atmosphere. The water was crystal clear and emerald green. The entire journey took just over an hour.

By Chen that thing |

The mountain road is long and winding, with charming scenery. There is a teahouse for rest along the way, a pool of clear water at the top of the mountain, and a row of local restaurants at the foot of the mountain.

By Confused 2552 |

Daqishan is beautiful, with lots of activities for kids. We had so much fun there, we went over and over again. We loved it! If you book online, you'll get a receipt when you redeem your ticket, which you can use to enter the park. When we went there at the end of August, a lot of water was dry, with only a small stream, but it was perfect for kids to play barefoot in the clear, cool, and refreshing water. We couldn't resist jumping into every pond we passed!

By Cao |

I drove to Tonglu for a day and went to this scenic spot. Don't expect the water scenery inside, especially the big waterfall at the top. There is only a small amount of dripping water and there is no scenery inside... The ticket is not cheap

By Flowers Travel Around the World |

I took my son there many years ago, and it was a good family outing. There are many areas specifically designed for children, such as the Brave Path. I'm not sure if they're still there. The climb up Daqi Mountain also boasts many exotic plants and flowers, and the altitude is quite high, so it's definitely worth a visit if you haven't been.

By Tangtang |

Daqishan Forest Park was pretty good overall. I went in May and the weather was great. The round trip took 2-3 hours. Personally, I think the most beautiful part was the waterfall. Although small, the water was crystal clear. Schools of red carp swam through the water, which was quite a sight to behold. It felt like a 3D movie...

By Anderson5 |

It's one of the few places in Jiangsu and Zhejiang where climbing is not entirely done on built steps. In some places, you actually need to use your hands and feet to climb, which is really rare.

By change |

The scenery was okay. One star goes to the idiot watermelon seller halfway up the mountain. They hid the price tag behind something. Then, before we agreed, they cut the watermelon and told us half a watermelon was 6 jin (approximately 100g) and asked us to pay 65 yuan. Then, they politely pulled out the price tag and said they'd already told us the price. If you're going there, don't buy any watermelons halfway up the mountain!

By King of the Cornfield |

The 60 yuan ticket price is not high. Tonglu County is still very beautiful.

By Ma Runkewa |

The scenery is OK, the river water is very clear, and it's a forest oxygen bar. It should be very comfortable to go there in the summer. It's also quite interesting. But the toilets are too unhygienic and the food is not good.

By Li Xiaodong |

The scenery of Daqishan is quite good, with clear water and green mountains, and the sound of flowing water can be heard everywhere. The mountain is not too high, but the road up the mountain is not easy to walk. There are many types of bridges, but the safety measures do not seem to be enough. Although some dangerous places are watched, it still feels inadequate. There are too many roads without handrails and fences. Children and the elderly need to be especially careful when walking. In addition, although the dogs are cute, it feels weird to walk dogs in the scenic area.

By Hug pillow wing |

The big watermelons on the mountain are round and not sweet. The price is the same as other mountainous areas. The scenery is as beautiful as the back mountain of Huangshan. The way down the mountain is a bit tricky. It feels that the artificial waterscape of Jiuzhaigou is not bad~~ The main thing is that it is too much for one person. . .

By moon |

The scenery is beautiful, with mountains and water. It was not the flood season when we went there, so the water flow was not big.

By Mountain covered with light clouds |

I think many years later, the first impression that Daqishan gave me must be the place where my college class took our last autumn outing.

By Third Master |

It's a small hill with little fame, but the scenery is pretty good. The water is actually green, and it feels a bit like Jiuzhaigou.

I went there the year I graduated from high school. I joined a tour group and my overall experience was just average. The jungle slide was pretty good.

Daqishan is relatively flat and suitable for all ages. The scenery is also good, the water is very clear, and it feels like a small Jiuzhaigou.

By Brother Xiqi |

I came here during the summer vacation of my freshman year in college, and it has been many years. I just remember that the mountain was not very high, but the scenery was nice!

Daqishan Mountain might not seem very well-known, but I happened to pass by it on my last trip from Shanghai to Qiandao Lake, so I took a stroll through the mountain. Daqishan Mountain is not very high, perhaps just over 600 meters above sea level, and is located on the south bank of the Fuchun River in Tonglu County. While the mountain doesn't offer many cultural attractions, its natural landscapes, including forest resources, are well-preserved. The mountain boasts lush vegetation, clear springs, and numerous bamboo and orchards at its foot. The natural scenery, with its stunning lake and mountain vistas, is quite stunning. To reach Daqishan Mountain, those not driving need to first take a bus to Tonglu. From the Tonglu County Long-Distance Bus Station, take Bus No. 20, which takes you directly to Daqishan National Forest Park.

By China-TravelNote users |

Pure water was 10 yuan a bottle at the ticket office, bamboo rice was 30 yuan a portion, and watermelon was 200 yuan a piece. It was a very memorable experience! The scenery was actually dwarfed by it 😄.

By Daily cat petting |

The water in Daqishan is very beautiful, but it was the dry season when I went there, so the waterfall was very small. The walk was easy and took about 2 hours.

It hasn't rained for a long time. The water is scarce, but very clear. The koi in the water are very big. The mountain road is easy to walk. It's enough to come here once.

Daqishan Forest Park is a perfect retreat, sparsely populated, with tranquility and seclusion. It offers a tranquil escape from the city's bustle, perfect for those trapped in the mountains. The mountains and water, crystal blue and emerald green, complement each other, creating a truly magical place, perfect for relaxing! It's also incredibly close to Hangzhou, and while West Lake is already swamped by tourists, why not enjoy the tranquility of Tonglu?

The journey had just begun when I realized how hard it was to travel with a tour group. I didn't have time to take pictures along the way. This is a largely undeveloped forest park. It's relatively natural, and there aren't many recreational activities. There's an area similar to an adventure park, with rides like a seesaw, and a small shop selling food and water guns. The entire scenic area takes about two hours to hike through, which is quite tiring, considering the ups and downs, but it's good for your health. I have to emphasize that on the way down, you'll come across a paid cable car ride. The staff will try to trick you into thinking it'll take another 40 minutes, but the ride will only take a few minutes. Don't be fooled; the path down here is hidden, giving these people an opportunity to bribe you. When you reach the cable car ticket booth, look to the right and you'll see a small path blocked by a drainage pipe along the ridge. But if you insist on not taking the car, they won't stop you. Just step over the pipe and walk along the stone path for another ten minutes, and you'll be down the mountain smoothly, enjoying the scenery along the way. It was probably dry season when we visited, so the water wasn't very strong. The most famous scenic spot looked quite different from the photos. Overall, it's a worthwhile visit, with the air being refreshing and cool. The hike from Barbizon Manor to Daqi Mountain took about half an hour. It was off-season and a weekday, so the mountain was sparsely populated. The climb wasn't very high, and the fun trails, including ding-ba, wooden bridges, rope bridges, and iron chain bridges, made it quite an enjoyable experience. The crystal-clear stream and the fish swimming in the water are probably Daqi Mountain's most charming feature. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right season, so the peak didn't offer a waterfall view. On the way back, we played flying squirrels down to the foot of the mountain, which saved us a few steps and was quite enjoyable. Well worth the trip!

When I went to Tonglu, I happened to visit Daqishan National Forest Park, which left a very deep impression on me.

I didn’t expect that Tonglu also has such beautiful mountains and waters.

It was midsummer when we went there. We climbed all the way from the bottom of the mountain to the top. The scenery along the way was beautiful, with lush vegetation, small streams flowing eastward, and green pools. There was a new scene at every step.

We also ate very sweet watermelons in the pavilions in the mountains. They were very big and not expensive.

Here are some beautiful photos.
