Shenxianju is famous for its natural scenery, with bamboo forests and waterfalls densely covered in the mountains, which basically retains its original wildness.
It consists of three major landscape groups: Xiyan Temple, Weiqiang Mountain, and Juxian Valley. The essence of the entire scenic area is concentrated in the area around the top of the mountain. After reaching the top of the mountain, there are scenic spots in three directions, which are inaccessible to each other.
The scenic area is divided into the north and south gates. Two new cableways, Beihai and Nantianqiao, have been built at Xiyan Temple and Juxian Valley respectively. You can also take the cable car directly to the top of the mountain from the north and south gates after hiking for about an hour.
Every year between May, June, September and October (June is the peak flowering period), the lavender at the north entrance of Shenxianju Scenic Area gradually blooms, which is very beautiful.
Zhang Jizhong's version of the TV series "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils", the movie "The Forbidden Kingdom" and the new version of "The Legend of the White-Haired Witch" were all filmed at Shenxianju.

The scenery of Shenxianju is generally good. The best weather is when there is a sea of clouds. The second best weather is when it is sunny. The third best weather is when it is cloudy, rainy or foggy. The different weather conditions give different feelings. The scenic area is well designed and the quality of the local staff is also good. It is suitable for self-driving tours. It is a scenic area with at least four stars. However, the scenic spots in Xianju County do not have a strong commercial flavor. This is not easy nowadays. For this reason, I would like to give it five stars.
Shenxianju is located in Xianju County, Taizhou City. It is the largest volcanic rhyolite landform in the world. The strange peaks and cliffs, the precipitous cenotes, the flowing springs and waterfalls, and the magical mountain landscape are breathtaking. It is recommended to stay in Xianju County the day before to visit Shenxianju. In the morning, take a bus from Xianju Urban and Rural Bus Station to the north gate of Shenxianju, take the north cableway up, and get off from the south cableway after the tour. Since there is actually a long distance from the south cableway station to the south gate of the scenic area, and it is all downhill steps, it takes about 40 to 50 minutes, which is very tiring. You can imagine that if you go up the mountain from the south gate, even if you take the cableway, you have to walk a long way up the mountain. So it is recommended that the best option is to go up north and down south. There are free buses between the north and south gates of the scenic area. The tour takes about 6 hours.
A relatively mature 5A classic, the scenery is very good, it is worth a visit, the North Gate Farmhouse is about one kilometer away from the scenic area. The boss politely asked for a car to take me there, but no, I walked there, and soon I could reach the gate of the scenic area. I bought the tickets on Taobao, which were slightly cheaper. I came early, and the scenic area was not open yet. I happened to see the staff of the scenic area, asked them, and went directly into the scenic area. I started early, so I might be the first one to enter the scenic area.
I had checked the travel guide before, so the route I chose went up from the north and down from the south. I hiked up the mountain from the north gate and took the cable car down the mountain to the north gate. The scenery on the north route is better than that on the south route.
Tips: If you go to Dashenxianju in spring and summer, you must pay attention to sun protection and do not expose your skin. If you have enough time, you can go to the nearby Jingxing Rock. On sunny days, there is plenty of light and the scenery is better.
It is a 5A-level scenic spot, it is worth a visit!!!

Although it was almost noon, the air in the mountain was still fresh, with birds singing, insects chirping, waterfalls and streams, as well as blooming mountain flowers and dry streams. The scenic area has also newly built some expansion projects to meet various challenges. From time to time, some young people took turns to challenge, and there were also many people watching from below, pointing and commenting.
Since there were too many people waiting in line for the cable car, we had to hike up the mountain. The mountain roads in the scenic area have been well maintained, and there are iron railings at dangerous places. Walking on the mountain road, the sun shines down and the air is fresh. Although I am a little tired, I feel very happy.
After visiting Shenxianju, I realized that this is really where the gods live. It is surrounded by mountains and water, and the shapes of the rocks are like rows of people participating in a beauty pageant, graceful and beautiful. The air is fresh, completely getting rid of the city's car exhaust, breathing fresh oxygen, it's just great~~~
Shenxianju is located in Xianju County, Taizhou City, southeast Zhejiang Province. It is also called Tianmu Mountain. The scenery of the Jiangnan Canyon is magnificent and magical. The trees are lush, the air is fresh, and there are volcanic landforms. There are scenic spots such as Guanyin Peak, Fozu Peak, Jiangjun Rock, and Tianxia Granary in the scenic area. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to visit along the high-altitude plank road. The ticket for the 5A scenic spot is 110 yuan (100 yuan for online booking, 100 yuan for the upper and lower cableways, and 15 yuan for round-trip shuttle tickets between the north and south gates). It opened for business in 1998.
Shenxianju is located in Baita Town, Xianju County. It has been a famous mountain since ancient times. It was formerly known as Tianmu Mountain and Weiqiang Mountain. It is famous for Li Bai's "Dreaming of Wandering on Tianmu Mountain and Chanting a Farewell Poem". It is now a national AAAAA-level scenic spot. On the mountain, there is an inscription by He Shu'e, the county magistrate during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, "The First City of Mist and Clouds", which means that the Xianju with steaming clouds and mist is beautiful and the best in the world.
There are many shuttle buses from Xianju Station to Shenxianju Scenic Area.
It is a masterpiece of nature. Once you go there you will know how beautiful it is. It is a very large mountainous area.
During the Spring Festival holiday, there are 15,000 visitors every day. The scenic area is well managed and can guide the crowds well. Enjoy the scenery happily
It's super cool in the summer, there are no mosquitoes, and you can play in the water at any stream.
A scenic spot that is still under development, with beautiful scenery. It is estimated that it will take more than two days to visit it.
The weather was great, and I saw the scenery of all four seasons. It was so fascinating whether it was cloudy, rainy or sunny.
The scenery is nice and unique. But it is bad that the closure of scenic spots due to the typhoon was not announced to the public in time.
I went there during the main holidays, there were too many people and it was impossible to give an objective evaluation of the scenery.
The scenic area is relatively large, but the mountain roads in the scenic area are very narrow and the carrying capacity is not high. The service level of the visitor center and the scenic area is not high. There is no water in the toilet, it is very dirty and smelly, there are no seats to rest, there are not enough vending machines, and there is no hot water point. When I got to the mountain, the sanitation was poor, and I queued for an hour to buy a Pulse. No lie, one hour. The scenery is average. I came for 5A. I have been to many 5A, many, many, many 5A. I think this 5A is too watery and does not meet the 5A standard. The cable car has a very low carrying capacity. I queued for three and a half hours, really three and a half hours, before I got on the cable car.
In summary, the scenery is not bad, but not very good either. It is not up to the 5A standard, and many 4A are better than this place. The ticket plus the shuttle bus is 150, which is not cost-effective. The facilities and service level of the scenic spot are even worse. In short, it is not recommended. If you come during holidays, then congratulations, the experience is a pit, three words, not worth it.
I am traveling here. To be honest, the scenery is average, the service level and attitude are not friendly, and the facilities in the scenic area are not perfect. I don’t recommend coming here. It’s not cost-effective.
You can go up the mountain directly through the north gate, and you must take the cable car to go up the mountain!
The scenery is still very good. It's best to go on a sunny day!
Will the Linhai-Xianju bus stop midway? We want to go play
Shenxianju, a famous mountain in ancient times, is also known as Weiqiang Mountain. It is now a national 5A-level scenic spot. On the mountain, there is an inscription by He Shu'e, the county magistrate during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, "The First City of Mist and Clouds", which means that the fairyland with steaming clouds and mist has beautiful scenery and is the best in the world.
2019.2.8, family self-driving tour 2, yesterday's mountain climbing was particularly pitfall, because it rained and the top of the mountain was full of fog, you must come on a sunny day! ! ! ! Queued for 2 hours for the cable car, went up the mountain and looked for 10 minutes before going down, why, because you can't see anything, I really don't recommend coming when the weather is bad, if the weather is good and there are fewer people, it should still be good
Go there early in the morning and you can see the beautiful sea of clouds.
The weather was bad when I went there. It had just snowed and there was heavy fog. Many places were closed. The scenery was ok.
It is really beautiful, with a high oxygen content. After taking the cable car up, the road is mostly flat, not hard. Walking on the Bodhi Path is surrounded by clouds and mist, very beautiful, and a great place for photography
A post-National Day trip memory, the scenery is great, coupled with a certain enchanting and plump figure is perfect, half a day itinerary is enough ~
Went with Fang Xian and his wife.. It was quite fun
I went there early in the morning and there was no queue for the first wave of cable cars. The scenery was very good. When going down the mountain in the afternoon, many people had to take a number to go up the mountain.
The first thing to say is that Shenxianju is Tianmu Mountain, which is the poem "Dream Travel to Tianmu" written by Li Bai. The mountain is not very high but the scenery is nice. The scenic area is divided into the South Gate and the North Gate. We chose to enter from the South Gate and exit from the North Gate. There are cable cars in the scenic area to go up and down the mountain, but we chose to walk. It usually takes 2 hours to walk up the mountain. I remind you that you must see it when you come to Taiwan. It is very beautiful! Hot water on the mountain will be provided free of charge, and there are also several restaurants with reasonable prices and good taste. It is recommended that friends who go out from the North Gate must take the cable car down the mountain if they are elderly. The way down the mountain is very difficult to walk. It is almost an unrepaired road. There is only one scenic spot along the way, the waterfall group. There is a bus from the North Gate to the South Gate for 18 yuan per person for the whole journey. We parked the car in the parking lot one kilometer away from the South Gate Scenic Area. When entering the scenic area, we took the free car provided by the scenic area. The bus from the North Gate only goes to the Tourist Service Center, and then transfers to the South Gate parking lot at the service center (18 yuan bus ticket is all-inclusive, no need to buy a ticket again)
The scenery of Shenxianju is very beautiful. The only drawback is that I wore high heels to climb the mountain. I didn't go to many scenic spots, but just walked past a few scenic spots. Since I went there temporarily after finishing my business, I didn't prepare for exercise. I will prepare sportswear if I have the opportunity to go there again in the future. I arrived there at 2 pm on the first day. It was raining heavily. I hid in the car until 3 o'clock. When the rain was light, I went to buy tickets. As a result, the ticket sales stopped at 3 o'clock. I had to find the nearest hotel to stay. The next day, I rushed to the nearest scenic spot at 8:30 am. The hotel environment is average, the price is not affordable, the room is not good, and the environment is too old. It did not meet the charging standard. We just wanted to get close to the mountain the next day. The hotel on the mountain usually offers a 40% discount on tickets. We rushed to the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. The hotel showed a voucher for 20% off. The original price of the ticket was 125, and the cable car was paid separately. For dinner, we booked a taxi to take us to the county farmhouse. The round-trip pick-up was 100. When we got there, we had to find a farmhouse to eat local specialties. The next day, I went from the North Gate to the South Gate and came out. I asked a taxi driver to pick me up at the South Gate. It was 20 yuan per person, which was very convenient. I didn't have to squeeze into the bus. The bus was 18 yuan per person and I was too lazy to squeeze in. I had to wait 20 minutes for a bus.
The scenery is great and the air is especially good!!
It will be much easier to go up and down by cable car. Although you still have to walk a certain distance, it is mainly flat roads and downhill.
The name of the mountain is as beautiful as it is. Although it is not as beautiful as Huangshan, it is equally majestic. With unique highlights like Guanyin Peak, it has a sense of immortality. I didn't encounter the misty sea of clouds, which would be even more like a fairyland (I don't expect to encounter it), but high visibility is never a disadvantage. Fortunately, I didn't encounter bad weather where I couldn't see my hand in front of my face.
Moreover, the development and design of the Shenxianju scenic area is very attentive and can be described as a grand project, giving the beautiful landscape a cultural label that combines Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, which is also an important reason why I like it.
The scenery is pretty good and it takes about 4.5 hours to complete the tour.
5A scenic spot, great scenery, very relaxing to visit. At first I thought the ticket price of 125 yuan was not expensive, but the cable car cost 100 yuan to get on and off, and the scenic fee of 10 yuan was also necessary, so the total cost was more than 200 yuan.
The service in the scenic area is good. The car is parked in the temporary parking lot and taken to the gate by the scenic area shuttle bus. There are many cars, and they leave as soon as they arrive, and there is basically no need to stay.
The scenery of Shenxianju is on the mountain road around the top of the mountain. There are strange peaks all around and huge rocks on the top of the mountains. It has some Danxia characteristics and various shapes, just like what Li Bai described in his poem: "The immortals are lined up like hemp."
There are several viewing platforms on the top of the mountain, one of which is a glass viewing platform. When you climb up to the platform, you can have a panoramic view of the Yuntian Peak and the green valley.
After reaching the top of the mountain, the road is relatively flat, winding around the valley, with gusts of cool breeze from time to time. We circled to the south entrance and walked slowly up the stairs.
The scenic area is dominated by landscapes, and there are also strange mountains, peaks, rocks, stones and waterfalls. The best time to visit the scenic area is in June and July, which is the rainy season. The 102-meter Feitian Waterfall is rich and spectacular (it seems that we came at the right time). The next day, we arrived at the South Gate ticket gate on time at 7:30 in the morning. Here is a recommendation to all bee friends: During the summer vacation, you can get a free ticket with a teacher's or student's ID card. In addition, seniors over 70 years old are free... So bring all the relevant documents when you go out!
There is a bus to Shenxianju after getting off at Xianju. I personally think this arrangement is great. You don't even have to leave the station, just get on the bus. It costs 9 yuan per person and goes directly to Shenxianju. Then we started a long mountain climbing journey. We went up from the north and then down from the north, which took almost 4.5 hours. We were exhausted. People who don't usually exercise can't stand it at all. We actually took the cable car to go down the mountain, and we couldn't walk at all. The ticket was 45 yuan, and it took only 3 minutes to get to the bottom of the mountain. We walked to the ticket office, and then there was a bus back to Xianju when we got out. It was still very convenient, but there were too few buses. I suggest to increase the number of buses.
I personally think that the mountains in Zhejiang all look similar. The scenery is nice, but I'm a bit tired of it. I might need to go somewhere farther away. I recommend taking the cable car up the mountain. There's nothing to see on the way. It took two hours to climb. I climbed from the south, and it was basically stairs. It was exhausting.
It was hot when we went there, and our clothes were soaked the whole time. The environment was really beautiful. We walked very fast from going up the mountain to going down the mountain. We went up at 9:30 and went down at 12:40.
Shenxianju is indeed a five-star scenic spot! Needless to say, the scenery is beautiful, with beautiful mountains and waters in Jiangnan, but the photography skills are limited~
The aunt drove us to the south gate of the scenic area, and let us go down the mountain from the north gate after the tour. There was a free tourist bus that went directly to the location of the B&B, which was very convenient.
Here I would like to advise everyone to climb slowly when climbing mountains, and not rush. We rushed like we did, and then we could only take the cable car. When we got to the cable car, my girlfriend and I went straight to the cable car at the same time, and we didn’t have the energy to climb up anymore. After the cable car, we had to climb slowly to each of the following attractions. It was very physically demanding to see the entire attraction, so we checked in at each attraction. Each attraction offers different beautiful views.
The sky and mountains here seem to be connected together, which is particularly beautiful. However, my favorite place is a scenic spot where there is almost no one (it may also be because there were not many people in the entire scenic area when we visited that day). As for the name, I forgot it, anyway, there is a signpost after crossing the suspension bridge, so I followed the sign and walked down. There was no one along the way. I was in the viewing point and enjoyed the breeze for almost half an hour. Although the sun was strong, I didn’t feel hot.
You can experience Shenxianju slowly, you can also spend a day on the cable car, and if you hike up, I believe there will be beautiful scenery along the way. Overall, I feel that this place is pretty good after a day, it is not in vain, there are not many people during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and I saw the beautiful scenery, happy.
After going down the mountain, I followed what the aunt said and exited the scenic spot from the north gate and took the free bus back to the inn. As soon as I got on the bus, I felt it was such a luxurious and comfortable bus. It also took tourists to the city for free, which was very convenient.
The scenery is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, it's worth the trip!
A mountain is not high, but it is magical if there are immortals. There really is Avalokitesvara here. This is the most similar-looking stone I have ever seen. You don’t need to use your imagination to see the immortal stone.
The scenic area has two entrances, north and south. If you walk one way, it is recommended to take the north gate section, where the scenery is relatively better. It is recommended not to go back on the tour route. If you drive yourself, don't worry, the scenic area has a free shuttle bus to take you back. It is sunny on the mountain, so be careful to protect yourself from the sun when it is hot. Several viewing platforms are glass platforms, so if you are afraid of heights, be mentally prepared.
Because it was the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and the weather was also quite good, there were really a lot of tourists in the scenic area... But the scenery was really quite good, it was really a place where gods lived. There were cable cars going up and down the mountain, the cable car was 55 yuan/person up the mountain, and 45 yuan/person down the mountain. In the end, everyone chose to take the cable car down the mountain, because they really didn't have the energy to walk down the mountain... After going down the mountain, there was also a bus waiting at the entrance of the scenic area. Tell the driver where you want to get off. Because it was the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, the bus didn't charge money (this is awesome).
I went there during the National Day holiday. I left Shanghai on the morning of the 5th and arrived at 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I booked a homestay near the South Gate in advance. There is a small river next to it. There are many fish and it is very good to play in the water. I got up very early the next day and arrived at the South Gate entrance at 6:20. There were still few people. You can park your car in the parking lot at the South Gate, but there are not many parking spaces. If you don't get there early, it will probably be full.
I went early and there was no queue for the cable car (it is recommended to arrive one day in advance and stay overnight so that the car can be parked at the South Gate the next day and enter the scenic area early without queuing for the cable car. After going down the mountain from the North Gate, take the bus back to the tourist center and then transfer to the South Gate to pick up the car)
There is only a place to get hot water near the top of the mountain where the South Gate Cable Car ends. I didn't see any food there. It's best to bring your own. There's really nothing to eat up there. The scenic area is very clean and there's no peculiar smell in the restroom. I saw the auntie inside cleaning all the time.
It is also recommended to take the cable car down the mountain. If you have children or the elderly, it is better to take the cable car up and down the mountain, otherwise it will be really tiring to climb up.
The scenery is beautiful and the air is good. It is worth a visit.
By the way, there is a speed meter at 14km on the Wenzhou direction of S26 Zhuyong Expressway. I was photographed even though I followed the speed limit set by the navigation. Those who drive at excessive speeds should be careful.
It is recommended to hike up the mountain from the north gate, which takes about 1.5-2 hours, then walk along the entire plank road and take the cable car down the mountain from the south gate.
I went there on the third day of the Lunar New Year. I arrived at the parking lot a few hundred meters after getting off the highway. I walked to the ticket office opposite to buy a ticket and then took the scenic shuttle bus to the north gate (there were too many people during the Spring Festival, and this practice is commendable to avoid self-driving cars being stuck on the way to the gate of the scenic area). I entered the park at 12 o'clock. Two families traveled together. Because there were three children, the pace of play was slower, and they were afraid that the children could not walk. The scenery at the foot of the mountain was good, especially at the top of the mountain. But but but... I have to complain about the service in the scenic area. After walking for a while from the north gate, I arrived at the cable car. There didn't seem to be very many people taking the cable car, but the cable car was really designed very unreasonably, with only one car in both directions. The radio kept shouting that it would take more than three hours to queue up for the cable car, and then it would take almost three hours to walk up the mountain. After walking a short distance, I arrived at Feitian Waterfall and started to climb the mountain officially, but but but but when I climbed to the top of the mountain, there was no place to replenish supplies, no place to sell water, no place to sell food, and even no place to rest. The road is small but it has to be passed in both directions, and there are several places that are surrounded by dangers. I went up the mountain with a few children. It took more than three hours to climb from the bottom of the mountain to the top. There is a snack shop on the top of the mountain. There are only a few kinds of food, such as Mi Burger (20 yuan each, the taste is not bad), of course, the price is not cheap. The scenery at the top of the mountain is very good. Due to time constraints, we can only walk to the plank road and the South Bridge. Not far after the South Bridge is the cableway that goes down the mountain to the South Gate. We didn't have time to go to the suspended plank road on the other side. The children were tired from walking and wanted to take the cable car down the mountain, but it took more than three hours to queue for the cable car. The radio shouted that it would only take more than two hours to walk down the mountain. There was no choice but to walk down the mountain because it was almost dark. There was nothing to see along the way when going down the mountain from the south. They were all artificial steps. This step was newly built. Walking up the steps and repeating the same action was a bit unbearable for the knees. Soon it was dark, and there were many tourists along the way. Everyone turned on their mobile phones and used flashlights. Many tourists walked barefoot because they couldn't stand the steps all the way down the mountain. After walking for a long time, they came to the end of the cableway down the mountain. There is a small shop in this place, and I bought some food. Then I continued to go down the mountain and walked a lot of ways until I reached the entrance of the South Gate. It was already 7 o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the shuttle bus of the scenic area was still there, and I got on the shuttle bus and returned to the original boarding point. Finally, I have to say that the cable car in the scenic area is too bad. I have never seen a cable car with such poor efficiency in transporting people. Please note that the tourists who go later must go there early, otherwise it will be very late to go down the mountain. In addition, you must prepare enough food and water, otherwise you will be in a dilemma on the road and run out of ammunition and food. If you go early, it is recommended to take the cable car up the mountain from the South Gate, and then walk down the mountain from the North Gate. If it is all climbing, the whole journey will take about seven hours. In addition, it is best to bring a trekking pole. There are many branches picked up by people on the road as trekking poles, and nearby villagers sell bamboo poles halfway up the mountain for 20 yuan each. The picture is a reproduction of the photo of the art exhibition at the ticket office.
18.2 Visited Shenxianju on the fifth day of the first lunar month and went out early in the morning. There was a bus to the scenic spot at the long-distance bus station and arrived at the north gate. When I arrived at the north cableway up the mountain, I saw that there were not many people queuing, so I chose to take the cable car up. Here I complained about the cable car going up the scenic spot. There are three layers of queues waiting. After queuing outside, you will enter the first floor hall to queue in a serpentine queue. When I finally got to the top floor, I found that I had to wait in line on the top floor. The waiting time was 1.5 hours. Because the number was only 10 or so away from the outermost layer, the actual waiting time was much longer than expected. After going down the mountain, I heard that it took 3 hours to queue up when the weather was good a few days ago.
After the cable car reached the top, it was already near noon, much beyond the expected time, and we were worried about the last public transportation, which greatly reduced our interest in sightseeing. It rained lightly to moderately that day, and the sea of clouds was very beautiful, but due to the high humidity, the viewing effect of the scenic spot was greatly reduced.
I was afraid of falling into the pit again when going down the mountain, so I decided to walk to the South Gate. After running for more than an hour, I arrived at the South Gate and took the shuttle bus to the visitor center.
High. This is my biggest impression of this attraction. Although I took the cable car up the mountain, I walked down the mountain. The journey down the mountain also made my legs hurt for two days. Although it is high, the scenery is pleasant. It is my first time to experience it on such a high mountain. It is not recommended to take the cable car during the peak season. After queuing for two hours, it is better to climb up directly.
In terms of natural landscape, it is not like a 5A scenic spot. The scenery is average. There are too many such scenery in Zhejiang. The ticket price is much cheaper than Shenxianju. The ticket price here is worth 60 or 70. The scenic spot is very good, especially the toilets are clean. The staff said that the hiking trail at the south gate is under repair and cannot be walked. You must take the cable car. But where do people get on and off?
It's a 5A scenic spot, which is pretty good, but you have to wait in line for a while to take the cable car!
There are regular buses to Shenxianju at the bus station in Xianju, but you have to check the schedule. It takes about half an hour. We missed the bus, so we took a private three-wheeled electric car to the visitor center and then took the scenic area bus to the scenic area. In order to catch the bus back, we did not hike up the mountain but bought tickets for the cable car, which cost about 90 yuan. The scenery was beautiful. The only regret was that there was very little rain in the summer that year and the stream was almost dry.
The tour guide started saying on the bus that "we are all fairies in Xianju", but I didn't quite believe it. But when you get to Shenju, you'll find that the scenery and customs here are really as good as they are said to be. There are 88,000 negative oxygen ions per millimeter, which is not a lie. As soon as you enter the mountain, you feel like you are doing an oxygen SPA with your whole body and mind.
As a natural landscape scenic area, there are naturally many strange peaks and rocks, but unlike the majestic Mount Tai, the majestic Mount Huang, the beautiful Mount Hua, the steep Mount Lu, and the strange Mount Zhangjiajie, the mountains here are more like quietly lying Buddhist altars, as if the immortals are traveling in the forest and will come back to rest at any time. It makes people imagine whether the old monk sweeping leaves on the bridge, the man in green shirt practicing in front of the pagoda, and the boy walking on the path are the masters who are seeking seclusion but cannot be found.
It is particularly worth mentioning that Shenxianju is a volcanic rock landform with orange-red bubble-shaped protrusions on the rocks, just like a natural rock climbing base. There is an endless stream of people coming here to do extreme sports, and their spirit is even more breathtaking.
The infrastructure of Shenxianju is very standardized. Fireworks are prohibited in all areas, the OK Hall (restroom) is clean and hygienic, garbage is rarely seen on the mountain trails, and energy-saving panels are everywhere. In addition, the steps on the trails are coated with green fluorescent agent, which is a humane consideration for hikers in the evening.
After the rain, the mountain of Shenxianju was covered with sea of clouds. It was the first time I saw the sea of clouds in my life, and it was so beautiful.
It's pretty good, but there is no water or fog now, and the view on the top of the mountain is pretty good.
The scenery at the top of the mountain is very good, overlooking the entire Qingshan Mountain. The view is very different depending on the angle you stand at. The following is just a running account.
Starting from Linhai, take the 7 o'clock bus from the passenger transport center to Xianju, and take the 8:30 bus from Xianju to Shenxianju (you can also take a black car, 20 per person). The bus will arrive at the north gate of Shenxianju Scenic Area in about an hour. You can enter by scanning the QR code or ID card with the electronic ticket you bought, and you can take the free bus from the south gate. I originally planned to take the cable car up the mountain, but it took three hours to wait, so I walked up the mountain decisively, and reached the top of the mountain in one and a half hours with good physical strength. Climb the mountain at 9:50 and reach the top of the mountain at 11:10. There are small waterfalls to see on the way, and the road is easier to walk than the south. I arrived at the top of the South Mountain at 11:40. After visiting two scenic spots on the top of the South Mountain, I went down the mountain at 1:25. The downhill road of the South Mountain is obviously more difficult than that of the North Mountain. The road is not well built, and the surrounding scenery is also average. I reached the end at 1:25, and then walked for 20 minutes to the south exit. Take the free bus to the passenger transport center to transfer to the North Gate. Arrive at the North Gate at 2:25 pm and wait for the 15:00 bus back to Xianju.
It’s a pity that I didn’t take the route to the top of the North Mountain. The scenery from the bottom of the mountain and the top of the mountain are still different.
The Eagle Trail at the top of South Mountain has a great view, overlooking the entire mountain range from the top. I went back and forth twice.
ps1 The personal time taken is less than that in the guide. It may be because when traveling alone, you can go wherever you want, and you can decide your rest time at will. And single people don’t need to take pictures, so it saves time?
ps2 Just bring two bottles of water, don't bring too much food, it doesn't matter if you eat a meal late. I brought too many unnecessary things like umbrellas, pads, snacks. In fact, I only ate an apple on the way, drank two bottles of water (one of which I bought at the top of the mountain for ten yuan...), and ate a ham on the way back.
We went there in late September. There was not much water in the waterfall, and it would only be beautiful if it had rained and there were clouds. If it was just the mountain scenery, it would be just okay. We climbed up the mountain from the north gate to the south gate, and we were very exhausted. If you plan to hike, be sure to bring enough water and be fully prepared mentally and physically.
I climbed to the top of the mountain, but I still recommend taking the cable car. The mountain is beautiful.
I went there on National Day, but I couldn't take the cable car. It took 4 hours to go up the mountain and 3 hours to go down the mountain. It was very tiring! The most unique thing is the cable bridge of Shenxianju. The top of the mountain is filled with clouds and mist, which makes people feel refreshed. It really feels like living in a fairyland.
Take a long-distance bus from the scenic area waiting area of Xianju Bus Station to the north gate. Buy a ticket for 9 yuan per person (6.5 yuan to the service center). The first bus is at 7:20 and the journey takes nearly 40 minutes. It takes about 34 minutes to take a taxi from Xianju County and about 1 hour and 32 minutes from Taizhou Railway Station. The starting price of Taizhou taxi fare is 5 yuan for the first 1.5 kilometers. For every additional 0.5 kilometers, the meter will increase by 0.9 yuan.
The chess and card room of Holiday Apartment on the 2nd floor, No. 280 Huancheng South Road, Xianju County, is newly renovated. The single room has air conditioning, bathroom, and automatic mahjong machine. The 4th and 5th floors are finely decorated single apartments. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, 60-liter Haier electric water heater, TV, electric kettle, hair dryer, etc., European-style big bed, elevator up and down, welcome everyone.
In late summer, the local area is still very hot and the sun is very strong, but it is cool in the mountains, the mountain roads are well built, and the scenery is very open.
It really exceeded my expectations, it's so beautiful! Maybe only Huangshan in East China can compare with it!
The scenery at the South Gate is more beautiful than that at the North Gate. The cableway is also longer on the south side. It takes about half an hour to enter and walk to the cableway from both the north and south sides.
I personally feel that the scenery near Guanyin is the most worth seeing.
There are free shuttle buses at the gates on both sides to pick up tourists. There were four of us in the car and we felt like we were being treated as a private car.
The 2016 National Day trip was planned for a long time. The destination was changed many times. Finally, it was decided to stay in Shenxianju, Taizhou, and then go back depending on the specific situation. At 5:20 in the morning on October 1st, I set off from my home in Fuzhou to start the journey of the National Day holiday. Because it was early, there were almost no vehicles on the road, and the road was smooth. At 1:40 in the afternoon, I arrived at the Shenxianju service area. There were crowds of people and I finally felt the strong atmosphere of the National Day. Twenty minutes later, I arrived at the Shenxianju Tourist Service Center. There were quite a lot of cars. We turned to the government town of Baita Town. After a heavy rain, we met the beautiful Shenxianju for the first time at the entrance of the North Scenic Area. That night we set up camp in Danzhu and met fireflies. I got up early on the 2nd, and every breath of air I breathed into my lungs was fresh and sweet. I came to the parking lot at the south entrance early, and the scenery fascinated me. It was really a fairyland. At 7:38, I checked my ticket to enter the scenic area and walked about 20 minutes to reach the Nanhai Cableway. Danzhu Listening to the Spring, Fairies in the Clouds (all the fairies in the clouds are invisible), Taibai's dreaming place... We took the cable car at 8:12 and reached the top. Going down is Wuwei Road to the Tianshu Tadpole Scenic Spot, Tadpole Cliff, and the scenery on the Taiji Terrace is so beautiful. The sea of clouds in the distance makes me sigh again that it is indeed a fairyland. Flying Eagle Road, Guanyin Road, Karma Road, Prajna Road, Bodhi Road..., nature is really amazing. We walked around, looked around, and took some photos. We arrived at Beihai Cableway at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Seeing the crowds of people rushing up, we decisively bought tickets to go down the mountain. Beautiful Shenxianju, love Shenxianju!
Take a long-distance bus from the scenic area waiting area of Xianju Bus Station to the north gate, buy a ticket for 9 yuan/person (6.5 yuan to the service center), the first bus is at 7:20 (the timetable is attached in the photo below), and the journey takes nearly 1 hour. There are all kinds of people soliciting passengers to go to Shenxianju inside and outside the station. It is said that the most terrifying thing about black cars is not the high price. It is kind to take you to the tourist service center for 15 yuan and drop you off. There are many cars that tell you that they have arrived from a long distance, drop you off, and let you walk in by yourself.
Tickets are 120 yuan. Students aged 60-69 can enter at half price. People aged 70 and above can enter directly with their ID cards.
Pick up the map by the ticket gate, no one will remind you. There are shuttle buses between the north and south gates, but they will only be available in the afternoon.
Xiyan Temple Ruins, Dongtianmen, Wenxian Bridge, Guanyin Cave (road closed for construction), Sky Canyon (didn't go), Xitianmen, Jiangjun Rock (this one is super elephant), Tianji Rock, and then you reach the cable car. I only took the main road and didn't go to the branch road. There are Feitian Waterfall and Xiangbi Waterfall on the mountain road next to the cable car, but I didn't go there either.
The cable car is 55 yuan for a one-way trip, and you can pay by credit card. You can buy the round trip together, but the price is the same as buying them separately. Each car is 30+1 person. The staff said that the cable car runs every 15 minutes, and if there are many people, they will be sent when it is full. There is a small window at the front of the car, with a good view. You can see the waterfall while driving. There are staff standing at the door, and it takes 5 minutes to go up.
The main attractions are on the mountain. Look at the map carefully, otherwise it is easy to miss a few circular tour routes if you walk on the main road. We missed them. The scenery is very beautiful. There is one glass viewing platform, and more are iron pipes. Anyway, there are very few concrete floors.
You can rest on the platform below the South Cableway Station, where hot water is available. The path down the mountain is also nearby. The road is good, but there are a lot of gravels. However, when we walked, they were paving slabs, and there would be a good trail for the tourists behind. However, there is really no scenery when walking down the mountain, and the only function is to save money on the cableway, haha. It took a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes to walk to the lower cableway station.
The Shenlong Waterfall and Zhuque Waterfall on the map were not seen. Maybe they were too small and were overlooked, or maybe they were on another closed road. Anyway, I didn't see them. The whole scenic area took nearly 7 hours.
At the south entrance, you can see the scenic area shuttle bus parked in the distance, a very luxurious bus. The staff said that if the weather is hot, there will be a bus every 20 minutes, and if there are many people, they will leave earlier. All buses go to the north gate, and the journey takes 20 minutes.
The north gate is where you get off and wait for the long-distance bus to return. There is free WiFi at the entrance of the scenic area. The long-distance bus is a minibus, without air conditioning, and there is no ticket seller on the bus, so try to prepare change, otherwise you will have to change while driving...
It is truly worthy of the name "where the gods live". After the rain, you can see the sea of clouds in Xianju, and the green leaves are more transparent and beautiful.
The scenic area is certainly worth a visit, but the most beautiful location is still on Wujia Mountain. There are only a few elderly people living alone on the top of the mountain. You can pay for food and accommodation there. The price is reasonable and the free-range chickens in the mountains are delicious.
A good place for a family vacation and hiking. The scenery is very beautiful, the air is very good, the farm food is delicious, and you can also play in the water
It was a weekend in April. As it was not a holiday, there were not many people, and unlike the legend that one has to wait for several hours for the cable car, the scenery was nice and it was very relaxing. The whole journey took about 4 hours, from the North Gate cable car on, to the South Gate cable car off. However, the bus back to the North Gate from the South Gate did not seem to be scheduled, so I called a minibus for 50 dollars. On the way, the driver said that this electric bus was the best now. If it was summer vacation or holidays, it would take 4-5 hours to wait for the cable car. The accommodation was not crowded, the proprietress was very nice, the room was clean, the scenery was beautiful, it is worth a visit, and try to avoid holidays.
We drove from Suzhou for four and a half hours and stayed at Qingheshu Hotel, a farmhouse hotel at the foot of the mountain. The environment is very good and the supplies are complete. The next day at nine o'clock, the ticket to the mountain was more than 100 yuan. As the saying goes, if you don't climb the mountain, you can see the mountain in Shenxianju. We took the cable car up in the afternoon and may not have time to climb up, let alone climb down. The minimum queue time for the cable car is 2 hours on non-holidays. The scenery on the mountain is not ordinary. It is different from the feeling of overlooking all the mountains in Mount Tai. I was hungry and tired during the trip. I wanted to go to the top of the mountain (the first souvenir shop next to the north cable car) and eat in the restaurant. I was directly angry. The cashier didn't take an order for half an hour and kept swearing. If you don't arrange to sit or order. Let the tourists stand and shout at her, she will ignore it. Ask questions and roll her eyes and say shocking things. A group of tourists are at a loss. As a 5A-level scenic spot, the service of the entire mountain area is not bad, and the facilities are also OK. It's just that the service of a restaurant is so bad. There are not many places to rest and eat in the scenic area. It's embarrassing! It's really embarrassing! The originally pleasant play was instantly angry. I only admire this cashier. The whole world owes you a million. I won't say much about the scenery of the scenic area. It is really worth going. It is recommended to eat before going up the mountain
Suitable for friends who love mountain climbing, the glass road is very exciting.
Xianju is rich in tourism resources, including Shenxianju, Yong'an River Rafting, Pantan Ancient Town, Jingxing Rock and many other scenic spots. At the end of 2015, Shenxianju and Tiantai Mountain Scenic Area in Tiantai became national 5A scenic spots, so you have to be prepared for special situations such as traffic jams and queues during the long holiday. It is precisely because Xianju has rich tourism resources that we only have one day to prepare. Basically, except for the most important Shenxianju, there is no time to play (although we originally planned to go down the mountain early to drive to the periphery of Jingxing Rock to take a few photos). Shenxianju is more than 20 kilometers west of Xianju County. Starting from Linhai, we still go out of the "West City Gate", pass a short section of the national highway and get on the highway. Going west along the S28 Taijin Expressway, you can directly reach the highway toll gate of Shenxianju Scenic Area. Since it is the only day in the first month of the year that Shenxianju does not rain, there was still sleet on the mountain yesterday, so most tourists gathered today. When I got off the highway at 10 o'clock in the morning, the traffic was already serious. There was no good parking spot, so I had to park in a remote field. In terms of special food, the Eight Bowls of Xianju need to be mentioned. The Eight Bowls refer to lotus seeds (white lentils), sea cucumbers, soaked roe (xiang), big fish, flipping meat, knocking meat, big face tofu, and pork skin. The more special ones are soaked roe and knocking meat. The soaked roe is made of dough wrapped in dried salted fish and fried until it is burnt on the outside and tough on the inside. Knock-knock meat is really made by knocking the meat pieces flat and loose, and the flipping meat is solid. Next to the parking lot is the management hall of the Shenxianju Scenic Area, where you can buy tickets. In addition to the traditional window ticket purchase, there is also a device similar to the self-service ticket machine in the high-speed rail station, which can directly use a bank card to avoid queuing for tickets. The ticket price is 125 yuan per person, and the online pre-sale is as cheap as 120 yuan at most, which is the standard 5A scenic spot pricing. If you want to take the cable car up and down the mountain, you need to buy another ticket at the cable car entrance. The upward cable car is 55 yuan per person, and the downward cable car is 45 yuan per person. In addition to the tickets and cable car tickets, the round-trip minibus from the gate of the scenic area to the north and south entrances is free, which is very humane. However, although the free shuttle buses are running one after another, the dense flow of people still line up in long queues at the boarding place. There are still many locals soliciting customers and doing illegal car business, although the official loudspeakers are constantly broadcasting reminders to tourists not to take illegal vehicles. During holidays, the average waiting time for the cable car is nearly 3 hours, whether getting on or off, which means that unless you are old, weak, sick, or disabled, or tourists who come specifically to take the Shenxianju cable car, walking up and down the mountain is the only option.
The scenic area has a north gate, a south gate entrance, and a visitor center some distance from the north gate. You can park and take the scenic area special bus to the north, south gate and ticket office, but you can buy tickets at the north and south gate entrances, and there are fewer parking spaces. If it is convenient, we navigate from the highway to the exit, which is the Shenxianju Scenic Spot Visitor Center. There are many farmhouses nearby. After settling in, drive to the north gate entrance to buy tickets and enter directly. We parked early in the north gate parking lot, so we didn't have to go to the visitor center to buy tickets in the morning. The working hours are 7:30. If there is a queue, it will be even later. Then take the special bus to the north gate, or the south gate, which will delay too much time. It is often stuck on the road during holidays. It is not recommended. Buy a ticket at the north gate to enter the scenic area, take the cable car, get off, exit the south gate, take the special bus to the visitor center, and then take the special bus to the north gate entrance to pick up the car parked in the morning. This method is convenient and fast, so that there are only three of us in the three cars of the cable car going down the mountain, and there are many tourists waiting in line at the south gate to take the cable car.
Similarly, if you check in near the South Gate, you can buy tickets at the South Gate without going to the tourist ticket center near the North Gate. You can enter from the south and exit from the north, take a special bus to the tourist center, and then take a special bus to the South Gate to pick up the car.
The scenery of the scenic area is on the top of the mountain. There are many viewing platforms. The top of the mountain is full of clouds and sea, and there are strange peaks and rocks standing in a forest. There are many restaurants in the scenic area, but the prices are expensive during the holidays. 5A scenic area, not bad!
Today is the third day of the first lunar month, and the scenic area is packed. Tickets are sold at the visitor center, and people line up to wait for buses to take them to the South Gate and North Gate. The queue at the South Gate is about 200-250m, and the queue at the North Gate is about 100-150m. A bus can only take away a queue of ten meters at most. Three or four buses come every ten minutes, so it takes two hours to enter the mountain. The stupid thing is that I was standing in the queue at the South Gate, but the bus was pulled to the North Gate. Because according to the previous strategy, it would be easier to go up south (climbing) and down north (cableway). Well, starting from the North Gate, we started climbing after encountering a waterfall. The stairs were only 1m wide, and people were rushing around. I have never seen such a stingy investment in infrastructure such as stairs in a 5A-level scenic spot, so it was naturally congested, which could squeeze people out. Some people cursed: I paid for it. Some people gave up climbing and left directly. Forget the cable car, it took 3 hours to hike up the mountain, and it also took 3 hours to queue for the cable car. There is only one public toilet on the mountainside, and the conditions are so bad that you can't bear to look directly at it. The mountain road in the middle is also terrible. When you are almost at the top, there is a flight of stairs that can squeeze you pregnant. The scenery on the top of the mountain is somewhat charming, but it is not as good as Sanqing Mountain. It was a rainy day when we went to Huangshan, so it is difficult to compare, so I won't talk about it. The cable car on the south side went down the mountain, and we had to wait in line for 4 hours, so we went down the mountain directly. One hour was enough for us to go down the mountain if our legs and feet were strong.
The scenery is beautiful, it's nice to climb the mountain and hang out
I've heard of Shenxianju for a long time, and I finally went there this time. The visitor center of Shenxianju is not far from the highway exit. There is a large parking lot nearby. You can park your car there by yourself, and the fee is about 10 yuan. Then go to the visitor center to buy tickets and ferry tickets. If you have already bought tickets online, you don't need to buy tickets. The official price is 110, and there are still many discounts on China-TravelNote suppliers. The ferry ticket is about 15 yuan, and it will drive about 7 kilometers to take you to the South Gate (or the North Gate. When I went there, it said that due to too many tourists, the North Gate is saturated and temporarily closed). At the South Gate, you can enter by just swiping the QR code sent to you by the online ticket booking, without changing the ticket (the supplier may say in the text message that it is for use at the North Gate, but in fact it does not affect it, and you can also enter at the South Gate). Once you enter the South Gate, you can't see the cableway. You have to walk about 20 minutes on the mountain road to get to the cableway station. I have to complain about the cable car in Shenxianju here. The capacity is very weak. During the Qingming Festival, it takes two hours to get up. How long will it take during the National Day? So if you don't want to queue up, you must arrive at the scenic spot early enough. I arrived at 10 o'clock in the morning, which was almost the peak of the flow of people. After the cable car reached the top, I started to visit. I won't talk about the scenery. You can see the picture for details. I mainly talk about the itinerary. It takes at least one and a half hours to walk down the entire itinerary on the mountain. The terrain is high in the south and low in the north. That is to say, if you go up the South Gate cable car, the road you take to the North Gate cable car is basically downhill all the way. If you come up from the North Gate and want to go down from the South Gate, then your route is actually climbing all the way up. So each has its pros and cons. If you take the North Gate cable car, you can save the climb before the cable car, but you will be climbing all the way on the mountain. If you take the South Gate cable car, you will have to climb for 30 minutes to get to the cable car entrance, but you will be going down the mountain all the way. Generally speaking, the itinerary on the mountain is either north up and south down, or south up and north down, without going back. After I went down the North Gate Cableway, there was still about a kilometer away from the parking lot. At this time, I either spent 10 yuan to take a battery-powered eco-friendly car or walked. It is recommended to take an eco-friendly car. I estimated that it is quite far, more than a kilometer. This is roughly the itinerary of Shenxianju. I wrote so much in the hope that it can help other friends who want to go there.
