Three Pools Mirroring The Moon

三潭印月

Also known as Xiaoyingzhou, it is the largest of the three islands in West Lake and the only one that can be visited. It is known as the most scenic spot in West Lake.
The outline is like the Chinese character "田". The outer circle is a Jiangnan garden, and the interior is divided into four small lakes by cross-shaped islands and bridges, which is full of poetic and picturesque beauty.
The island is dotted with flowers and trees in sparse and dense patterns, mainly green willows, lotus, red maple and hibiscus, which is a representative work of Jiangnan water garden art.
The reverse side of the RMB one-yuan note features the magnificent scene of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, which shows that it plays an extremely important role as a symbol of scenic spots in my country.

You have to take a boat to get to the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. There are many cruise ship docks in West Lake. You can take a boat at the Hangzhou Hotel dock in the north, the park dock in the east, and the west dock. You don't have to go to the same dock to go back and forth. This can greatly speed up the progress of visiting the West Lake scenic area. It's still very fast to walk around the island. The scenery is good. You can see the scenery of the entire West Lake by going around the island. It's very beautiful.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is the largest island in the West Lake, also known as Xiaoyingzhou. There are "Kaiwang Pavilion", "Xianfang Terrace", "Xianxian Temple", "Yingcui Pavilion", "Flower and Bird Hall", "Woxinxiangyin Pavilion", "Quqiao" and "Nine Lions Stone" on it. There are three pools on the island, which is probably the origin of the Three Pools. However, this island does not look like it was formed naturally, and it should have been accumulated during artificial dredging.

A small pavilion in the center of the island, with four open pavilions. The couplet on the top reads: The pavilion and the center of the lake are in contrast, and the moon shines through the waves. There is a plaque under the eaves of the pavilion in the east, west, south, and north directions, which reads: East Lang, West Qing, South Shu, and North Chang. The couplets on the pillars on both sides read: Three sides of the lake, four sides of the mountain, a curtain of green pines, ten miles of lotus fragrance

The most famous sight on the island is the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. Most Chinese people have probably seen it - it is the pattern on the back of the 1 yuan RMB banknote. The so-called Three Pools Mirroring the Moon refers to three stone towers built in the southern lake of the island. The towers are hollow, and there are five equidistant round holes arranged on the spherical surface. If it is a moonlit night, thin paper is pasted on the hole mouths, and lights are lit in the towers. The hole shape is reflected on the lake surface, showing many moons. The shadows of the real moon and the fake moon are indeed difficult to distinguish. The night view is very charming, so it is named "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon". Unfortunately, it is daytime now and the weather is gloomy, so we can't see such a beautiful view. It is said that the three stone towers were built when Su Dongpo dredged the West Lake. Of course, there is also the legend of Lu Xiaomei's battle with the black fish spirit.

Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty personally wrote an inscription and erected a stele and built a pavilion. The stele and pavilion have been maintained and preserved to this day. The original stele was erected in the 38th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign (1699) when Emperor Kangxi toured the West Lake, wrote the "Ten Scenes of the West Lake" and inscribed the name of the scene "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon". The current stele was re-erected in 1979 according to the original scale, original engraving, and original handwriting. The imperial stele pavilion, which protects the imperial stele, is a Qing Dynasty-style pavilion with stone pillars and a hexagonal pointed roof.

This is a tourist attraction worth visiting. You must take a cruise and slowly explore the island in the middle of the lake. You can spend half a day here alone.

The three stone towers are the essence. If you light candles in the towers during the Mid-Autumn Festival and cover the small holes around the towers with thin paper, the light will shine through the paper and be reflected on the lake surface, which will be reflected by the moon in the sky, which is beautiful. This is the origin of the "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon". However, we came during the day and it was misty and rainy, so we could not see this famous scenery.

The Moon Reflecting in the Three Pools is one of the ten famous scenic spots in West Lake, and it is also the pattern of the one-yuan RMB, so it is worth a visit in the beautiful spring! The Moon Reflecting in the Three Pools is the largest of the three islands in West Lake. If you want to go to the Moon Reflecting in the Three Pools, you must take a boat. It is recommended to share a boat. A boat costs 150 yuan. Four or five or six people can share a boat. The boating boy will also explain it, which is quite cost-effective. After landing on the island, the ticket is 20 yuan, or you can buy a ticket with the boat in advance for 55 yuan. When you arrive on the island, you can carefully watch the Moon Reflecting in the Three Pools, as well as the Nine-Curve Bridge, the Idle Terrace, the Pantheon, the Nine Lions Stone and other good attractions. The scenery here is very beautiful, which makes people intoxicated here. It is a holy place to check in!

The lake is quite cold in winter, and it is windy, so it is not a wise choice to take a boat to sail on the West Lake. Even though I wore a full set of Beijing cold-resistant gear, I was still freezing. Although I saw the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (there was no moon due to bad weather), I was not in a good mood. After about an hour of boating, I caught a cold for the next month. It seems that the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is best seen in the summer evening.

The most famous scenic spot in West Lake, "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon", is the largest island in West Lake and the location of the background of the one-yuan RMB banknote. It can be seen that the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon plays an important role in my country's scenic spots! Because we arrived at this scenic spot late, the ferry at the pier had stopped operating. Fortunately, there were still small boats available for ferries. We and two other couples of tourists hired a small boat. The boatman was very enthusiastic to introduce us to the surrounding scenery and rocked the boat back and forth to show his superb rowing skills. It was very humorous! When we arrived near the three stone towers in the lake, the boatman stopped the boat and we took out one-yuan bills to compare and take pictures. Although the location was not very accurate, I was still very excited. I reduced my goal of 186 yuan to visit all the scenery on the back of the RMB by one yuan!

You can take a boat to Three Pools Mirroring the Moon (the island in the lake of West Lake) from any pier. You can take a boat from any pier on the return trip (check the location). There is no limit on the time to visit the island. The island is not big, it is in the shape of a field, and people are close to each other. There are two types of West Lake boats (55 yuan for the trip to Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island and 70 yuan for the trip around West Lake)

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island, the Lake Center Pavilion and Ruan Gongdun are called the "Three Islands in the Lake", just like the three Penglai Islands in ancient Chinese legends, so it is also called Xiaoyingzhou. There are three stone towers built in the lake to the south of the island. If on a moonlit night, thin paper is pasted on the hole entrances, and lights are lit in the towers, the hole shape is reflected on the lake surface, showing many moons. It is really difficult to distinguish between the real moon and the fake moon. The night view is very charming, so it is named "Three Pools Mirroring the Moon", the tenth of the ten scenic spots of West Lake.

2020.10.7After visiting Leifeng Pagoda, I walked along the West Lake and arrived at the pier and decided to go boating on the West Lake to experience the scenery of the West Lake at close range and appreciate the scenery of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon up close;

As soon as we arrived at Xiaoyingzhou, a rainstorm came.

Here is the number one scenic spot of West Lake: Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. It is said that if the three stone pagodas in the lake are lit up, 33 moons can be projected on the lake surface through refraction.

By Metasequoia |

When they come to the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, tourists take out one-yuan bills and compare the "paper scenery" that they see every day with the real thing.

Because a tourist boat knocked down a tower before, the scenic area has become a restricted area. The boats are far away, and the view is not good in winter. I can only listen to the tour guide's explanation: every Mid-Autumn Festival, workers will take a boat to the three towers and light a candle in the center of each tower, paste thin paper, and the wind cannot blow out the fire. The round hole reveals the light of the candle, which looks like the moon from a distance. Each stone tower has five holes. The three stone towers can reflect a total of fifteen moons, plus thirty reflections, one in the sky and one in the water, and the last round of the moon in the hearts of tourists. The strange scenery of thirty-three moons is endless.

This scene is due to the fact that after Su Shi cleared the silt from the West Lake, he built stone towers here to mark the boundaries of the water area and the silt accumulation in the lake, and issued an express order that water chestnuts should not be planted in the water area surrounded by the three stone towers.

To appreciate the "No. 1 scenic spot in West Lake" Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, you need to take a boat, and the boat ticket plus the entrance fee is 55 yuan. After arriving, I wanted to find the angle of the pattern on the back of the one-yuan RMB to take a photo, but I found that I couldn't take that effect. I originally guessed that it might be due to the distance. Later, I read the information on the Internet and found that the pattern on the back of the one-yuan RMB was not completely realistic. The photographer could only take a picture of two stone towers from the angle he was at. It was only after processing that the current pattern appeared.

The scenery on the island in the lake is really beautiful, but there are too many tourists, which affects the mood of viewing. When leaving, you can choose different docks to take a boat according to your destination.

At the end of August, we caught up with the autumn heat in the south of the Yangtze River. In the afternoon, we boarded the boat from Huagang Fish Viewing Pier to Xiaoying Island. It took about an hour to circle the island. I think it is suitable for strolling and relaxing. You can see the beautiful scenery of West Lake from a distance, and you can see pavilions, pools and bridges, lotus flowers, fish playing, and various plaques and stone tablets with inscriptions by celebrities. It is still worth a visit! PS: Don’t forget to take a photo with the back of the one-yuan banknote...

Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. Located on Xiaoyingzhou Island in the southwest of the outer lake of West Lake and the local waters to the south of the island, covering an area of about 7.67 hectares, it is the most iconic landscape of West Lake in Hangzhou, one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake, and is known as the "first scenic spot of West Lake". The landscape takes the three towers in the water and Xiaoyingzhou Island as the core viewing elements, and the theme of appreciation is to watch the mutual reflection of the moon, tower and lake on the island on a moonlit night, and to induce Zen thinking and perception. The back of the RMB one-yuan banknote uses the grand view of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, which shows that the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon also occupies an extremely important symbolic role in my country's scenic spots. Leifeng Pagoda can be seen from a distance from the cruise ship.

You have to take a boat to get to this Xiaoyingzhou. There are several types of boats, and there are several docks along the West Lake. The ticket + boat trip is 55 yuan. It rained on the day I went there, so the scenery was not very good.

This is also the location of the real scene of the one-yuan RMB background image. The entire island is the largest island in West Lake and the only one that can be visited. However, I personally think it is not too big and it is not tiring to walk around it. The outline of the island is in the shape of a "field". The outer ring is a beautiful Jiangnan garden, and the interior is divided into four small lakes by a cross-shaped island and bridge, which is full of poetic and picturesque scenery.

I went to Hangzhou in 2014 when I was a sophomore in college. At that time, I didn't know that the background on the back of the 1 yuan RMB was the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon on the West Lake. Later, when I saw the real scene with my own eyes, I found it a little familiar and felt cute. The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is located on a small island in the center of the West Lake. You need to take a boat to enter it, and the ticket price is 15 yuan per person.

The West Lake is very close to the train station, only 3 stops by bus. The West Lake is very big, and the island in the middle of the lake is also very big. You must take a boat to see the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.

There are several cruise ship docks on the shore of West Lake, all of which can go to Xiaoyingzhou. On Xiaoyingzhou, you can see the Three Pools, which are actually three small stone towers. Many people took 1 yuan RMB notes to compare and take photos. However, you can't usually take photos of all three on the shore, or the photos will be relatively small. The stones are black, and there are birds resting on them. You should be able to find a good angle by boat.

There is nothing to do at this time, it is cold, spring and autumn are the best seasons. These two seasons are the best seasons to visit West Lake and its surrounding attractions, and the temperature is suitable.

If West Lake is majestic, then Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is like a miniature landscape, unique and elegant. The island is shaped like a field, and two paths divide the lake into four parts. The trees are lush beside the path, and pavilions with special names and shapes can be seen from time to time, such as Wanzi Pavilion, Tingting Pavilion, etc.

By Good night Beijing |

Anyone who has been there will be disappointed with the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. They can never get rid of the feeling of being on RMB. The scenery on the island is very good, but the queue time for the boat to leave the island is quite long. Don't go there during holidays.

I took a 90-yuan dragon boat to see the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. I didn't go to Xiaoyingzhou. The sun was setting. It was the Mid-Autumn Festival. There were candlelight in the tower. It was far away and not very clear. I think I'll be closer next time if I charter a boat myself.

What? You don't know about the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon? Take out a one-yuan note from 1999! The picture on the back is the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon! Isn't it a surprise?

The back of the one-yuan banknote uses a photo of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, which shows that the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon also occupies an extremely important role among my country's scenic spots and historical sites!

We need to take a cruise ship to visit the island. The cruise ships are divided into two types: luxury pleasure boats (with air conditioning) and ordinary cruise ships. The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is also known as Xiaoyingzhou. Together with the Lake Center Pavilion and Ruan Gongdun, they are collectively known as the Three Islands on the Lake. The entire island, including the water surface, covers an area of about seven hectares. There is a curved bridge connecting the north and south, and an earthen embankment connecting the east and west. The bridge and embankment are crossed in a "cross" shape, dividing the water surface of the island into four parts. The outer periphery of the water surface is a circular embankment. Looking down from the air, the land on the island is shaped like a very large "field", showing the characteristics of an island in the lake and a lake in the island. The waterscape is unique among the ten scenic spots of West Lake and is a classic work of water gardens in the south of the Yangtze River in my country.

In the 35th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1607), Nie Xintang, the magistrate of Qiantang County, took water hyacinth mud from the lake to build dams around the island, which initially formed a lake within a lake and served as a place for releasing animals. Later generations built three bottle-shaped stone towers in the lake to the south of the island, which were called "Three Ponds". In the early Qing Dynasty, the island was further built with curved bridges, halls and pavilions, and wood hibiscus was planted around the inner lake. During the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, retired general Peng Yulin built a villa here, and Xiaoyingzhou began to take shape.

The island is dotted with flowers and trees, mainly green willows, lotus, red maple, and hibiscus. Flowers bloom all year round, and the scenery is particularly beautiful in spring and autumn. The lake surface inside and outside the island is like a mirror, and the reflections of the buildings, flowers and trees are swaying. The sky and clouds are reflected, which really makes people feel trance and blurred, as if they are in Penglai. The beautiful scenery of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon also extends from the island to the lake. On the south lake of the island, three bottle-shaped small stone towers stand on their own feet, with unique and beautiful shapes. The top of the tower is like a gourd, the tower body is spherical, two meters above the water surface, hollow, and there are five small round holes around the tower body. The base of the tower is a flat round stone base. The plane of the three towers is distributed in an equilateral triangle, with each side 62 meters long. In mid-autumn, the bright moon is in the sky, the water and the sky are reflected, and candles are lit in the tower, competing with the bright moon. Moon-watchers row their boats forward, stirring up the entire lake with silver light. The moon in the sky, the moon in the water, the moon in the pagoda and the moon in people's hearts blend into infinite leisurely thoughts and sustenance, making them forget to go home.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Garden was built in the 35th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1607 AD) with the accumulation of lake mud, and the surrounding circular embankment was built in the 39th year of the Wanli reign of the Qing Dynasty (1727 AD). It was connected by a curved bridge from north to south and a willow embankment from east to west. It covers an area of 7 hectares and is in the shape of a field when viewed from above. It is known as a water garden with "an island in the lake and a lake in the island". There are pavilions, terraces, towers and platforms on the island, such as "Kaiwang", "Tingting", "Yingcui", "Xianfang" and "Wo Xin Xiangyin". The stone bridges are winding, the lattice windows are ethereal and far-reaching, the flowers and trees are lush, and the reflections are blurred. When you are in it, you will have a different view with every step.

On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, go boating in the West Lake in Hangzhou and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of "smoke shrouding the autumn water and the moon shrouding the gauze". The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon on the West Lake has been a famous place for moon-viewing since ancient times. The three stone towers stand gracefully on the rippling lake. On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, light candles in the towers and cover the holes with thin paper. The light shines through the paper, just like a round of bright moons, reflected in the lake. When the moon is in the sky, the moonlight, the lights and the lake light complement each other, and the shadows of the moon, the towers and the clouds complement each other, painting a beautiful picture of "a lake of golden water melting autumn", which makes people linger.

Actually, it is in the center of the lake. Once you enter it, it feels like climbing Baiyun Mountain. Some people are renting clothes (cheongsam, ancient costumes) from the stalls and taking photos. Fans are bought by my companions for fanning themselves, and they cost 15 yuan each.

Go to the nearest pier to buy a ticket and board the boat. The ticket seems to be 40 or 50. For a round-trip ticket, you can go to any pier on the return trip. Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is a very small island. It must be more beautiful at night, but it's a pity that there is not enough time. The perspective on the island is different from the one-yuan ticket. The one-yuan ticket should be taken from the direction of Leifeng Pagoda.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon can be seen on a small island in the West Lake in Hangzhou. From the West Lake to the island, the entrance ticket and the boat ticket cost a total of 55 yuan, which is not bad. The boat ticket can be used twice, one entry and one exit. On the island, you can enjoy the scenery worth 1 yuan, but the effect of the RMB is not as good as that on the RMB, haha

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon are three gourd-shaped stone pagodas in the middle of the lake.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is known as the "most scenic spot in West Lake". The pattern on the back of the one-yuan RMB note is exactly here. Xiaoyingzhou Island is actually also called the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon Island.

By Sika |

We took a cruise on West Lake to the small island of Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. I heard that there is a picture in Three Pools Mirroring the Moon that is the pattern on the back of a one-yuan banknote, and I was very curious.

The island was hazy in the lake, the lake surrounded the island, and the island surrounded the three pools. The road on the island seemed to be in the shape of a "田". The whole island was wet. We each held an umbrella and wore rain boots, so we could only walk on the stone path. The island was covered with dense green plants, washed by rain, and the air was particularly fresh. From time to time, there were pavilions, small commercial kiosks, weeping willows, and lotus ponds. We probably saw three kinds of lotus leaves. The first kind was the common "concave umbrella" lotus leaf, the second kind was small duckweed connected into a piece, and the third kind was "overlord duckweed", which was like a big green bathtub floating on the lake. Some of the lotus flowers with white bottom and pink tips were in bud, and the flower buds were full and round, with dewdrops hanging on them; some were in full bloom, with petals stretched out as much as possible, and the bright yellow stamens had fallen off and grown into a lotus pod; some lotus flowers were beaten down by rain and their petals fell off, and the branches were bent.

We walked to the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, and we actually took out a one-yuan note to compare it with the original scenery. Looking closely, the "water is shimmering", and looking far away, the "mountains are misty and strange in the rain", we can see that the beauty of West Lake is comparable to that of Xi Shi, "light makeup or heavy makeup is always suitable".

This is the symbol of Hangzhou. The patterns on Hangzhou TV stations, Hangzhou taxis, and even the back of the one-yuan bill are all taken from here. But when I first saw it, I thought it was so dirty, but I got used to it after visiting it many times.

The Moon Reflecting in the Three Pools is next to an island near the center of West Lake. You can't see it without taking a boat. There are two types of boat tickets, one for going to the island and one for not going to the island (you can still see the Moon Reflecting in the Three Pools). Walk out of Liulangwenying Park and head towards Su Causeway to find the boarding point.

We bought the boat ticket online, but we didn't go ashore. The ticket price was 35 yuan per person. We could go around the West Lake in half an hour. There was also a wooden boat, which cost 150 yuan per hour. Although there were people rowing, it was definitely impossible to see the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. My husband suggested that we forget it.

Standing on the lake, enjoying the beautiful scenery of West Lake is refreshing! The boat ticket includes the entrance fee to the Three Pools, which is 55 ¥. From the lake, you can clearly see the "Broken Bridge and Residual Snow", one of the "Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake". Due to the beautiful scenery of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, the country put its image on the currency. Today, I saw it and was intoxicated by the beautiful scenery.

It's a pity that the afternoon sun was too strong, and no matter how I took the photo, I couldn't get the feeling of the 1 yuan coin echoing with the background, which was a bit of a pity.

At the pier near Hubin Road, I bought the boat ticket for 70 yuan (cash only) + the ticket to the island. There was a brief explanation on the boat and I could choose different return piers according to my next destination. The buildings on the island seemed to be mostly imitations~ But the scenery was really nice, but there were always people everywhere𠈌 But the Nine Lions Stone and the three little fat men (what is its scientific name?) are quite beautiful. These little fat men seem to be common in some Japanese gardens. It's also a place that makes people lose themselves.

Every Mid-Autumn Festival night, when the moon is bright in the sky, people like to light candles in the round holes of the stone pagodas and cover the openings of the holes with thin paper. Then many small moons will be reflected in the water, with the moon shining on the pagoda and the pagoda reflecting the moon. The scenery is very beautiful.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is one of the ten scenic spots in West Lake and is known as the "first scenic spot in West Lake". The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is the largest island in West Lake, with beautiful scenery and tranquil views. The back of the RMB one-yuan banknote features the magnificent view of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, which shows that the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon also occupies an extremely important symbolic role among the scenic spots in my country.

After leaving Qianwang Temple, continue to visit clockwise, and the next scenery that you can't miss is the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. You have to take a boat to the lake to appreciate it in detail, so starting from the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, the western half of the West Lake is changed to a water tour, which arouses interest.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. It is known as the "West Lake Scenic Spot" and is the background of the one-yuan banknote. Sail through it and enjoy the sound of fishermen singing in the evening.

Golden osmanthus swaying on the shore, Hangzhou winter snow, pelicans in the treetops and lake, intoxicated, like a dream ~

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon can be vaguely seen as an island in the lake, a lake in the island, and the Three Pools "missing". If you want to overlook the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, it is recommended to go to Leifeng Pagoda.

By Walking and stopping in the world |

You can get there by boat and enjoy the view from the lake. It's still a good experience

By Flying over the ocean |

One of the most beautiful views of West Lake, a must-see attraction when visiting West Lake.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is the West Lake in Hangzhou. I don’t know who insisted on listing it as a separate scenic spot.

By No. 1 |

Haha, what is the location of the 1 yuan? Of course I have to go and check it out.

When I arrived at the lake, I bought a boat ticket. The lake is quite unique. The lotus flowers in West Lake have not yet bloomed, but the lotus and water lilies on the island are already in full bloom. The Moon Reflected in the Three Pools is the back pattern of the new version of the one-yuan RMB, and it is also one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. If the wind on the lake is not strong, it is still very comfortable.

I feel so-so, I really don't think it's anything special, just a few kimchi jars

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon in West Lake on October 13, 2016. In the Song Dynasty, lotus flowers were planted in large quantities in West Lake because the lotus root powder produced in West Lake in Hangzhou was white in color, tasted good and had beauty-enhancing effects. After the lotus flowers rotted, they formed silt that blocked the West Lake, affecting the water use of residents and agricultural irrigation. At that time, there was a severe drought, so Su Dongpo had to dredge the West Lake and build the Three Pools. The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon was built by Su Dongpo, forming an equilateral triangle with each side 62 meters apart. The Three Pools were used to measure the depth of the West Lake. At that time, Su Dongpo allocated money to build the Three Pools and stipulated that this was the deepest place in the West Lake, and it was strictly forbidden to plant lotus roots.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon was originally written as “映” (Ying), but when Emperor Kangxi visited the West Lake, he changed it to “印” (Yin), which makes it look more fresh and refined, and has a more appropriate meaning.

I took out the banknote and compared it with the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon on it to find the position where it was painted. I changed several places and angles on the shore, but I couldn't get it to match completely. Finally, in a small concave bay, I saw a similar scenery. Looking up, I saw the "My Heart is in the Pavilion".

There were many people taking pictures here, so we waited for a while before standing next to the stone and took a quick photo. After comparing the photos, we came to a conclusion that perhaps the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon on the banknotes had been modified and processed.

On the island in the middle of West Lake, you need to take a boat to and from. The adult package is 55, including the boat ticket 35 and the entrance ticket 20. Students can get half-price tickets, and the elderly over 70 can get free tickets, but you have to pay for the boat ticket. There are many pavilions and trees on the island, so you can take a leisurely stroll.

Also known as "Xiaoyingzhou", it is the largest island in West Lake and is known as "the first scenic spot in West Lake". It is a representative work of Jiangnan water courtyard art.

You have to take a boat to get there. The island in the lake and the lake in the island are very unique. This place is called "Xiaoyingzhou", a whole water garden, and there is a "Tingting Pavilion" that is still fresh in my memory.

Taking a rowboat and swaying to the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, taking out a 1 yuan note and comparing them is a must for everyone who comes here.

Boat trip is the most pleasant.

The three towers are very small and can be reached by boat. Just take a look at them.

I went to Three Pools Mirroring the Moon three times, with different people.

Suitable for leisure travel, you can take a leisurely boat ride and enjoy the scenery. It is also a souvenir. It is recommended not to go there during holidays. There are so many people that you don't want to walk. In fact, there are always a lot of people. It is also suitable for taking the elderly with you. You can take the boat with the elderly, but if you walk, it is recommended to take the car inside. The elderly will be tired. Young people can rent a bicycle inside. Go in summer. The trees are lush and super beautiful.

After all, it was built by Su Dongpo. It has a sense of history. I suggest you take a hand-rowed boat. If you take a ferry to the island, it is very far away. You can see it closer by taking a hand-rowed boat. And you don't need to pay for the ticket to the island. In fact, there is nothing on the island. The main thing is to see the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.

The scenery of West Lake is pretty good, and according to the name, it should be viewed at night.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake and is known as the "No. 1 scenic spot of West Lake". The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is the largest island in West Lake, with beautiful scenery and quiet views. The landscape of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is especially famous both at home and abroad. The main scenic spots are "Kaiwang Pavilion", "Xianfang Terrace", "Xianxian Temple", "Yingcui Pavilion", "Flower and Bird Hall", "My Heart is in the Pavilion", "Curved Bridge" and "Nine Lions Stone".

On the shore, golden osmanthus trees dance gracefully, willows are green and flowers are bright, and the buildings with carved railings and painted buildings are in contrast. It has the artistic characteristics of a Jiangnan water garden with islands in the lake, lakes in the islands, gardens in the gardens, winding and changing, and new scenery as you walk. The back of the RMB one-yuan banknote features the magnificent view of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, which shows that the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon also occupies an extremely important position among the scenic spots in my country.

You can only see the three iconic gourd pagodas from a distance by the West Lake or on Yingzhou Island, or take a hand-rowed boat to see them up close. When I was a child, whenever I saw bags and handkerchiefs printed with Hangzhou, I would think of the Three Pools Mirroring the Moon. It can be said that this is the symbol of Hangzhou.

The Three Pools Mirroring the Moon is located next to Xiaoyingzhou. You need to take a cruise to Xiaoyingzhou, which costs 55 yuan (35 yuan for the cruise and 20 yuan for the Xiaoyingzhou ticket). It was foggy when I went there, but it was pretty good overall.

It is quite difficult to take pure photos of the Three Ponds when there are many tourists. There are rowing boats all around the Three Ponds. If you zoom in, you can see garbage thrown into the lake by tourists surrounding the Three Ponds, which makes me feel a little angry.
