The scenery is beautiful, the rocks are unique, the springs are clear, and the caves are beautiful. The City God Pavilion stands on the mountain, towering above the clouds and majestic. The east, north, and northwest sides of Wushan overlook the streets and alleys, while the south overlooks the Qiantang River and the plains on both sides. Although not high, climbing Wushan still gives you a sense of soaring above, and you can take in the beauty of Hangzhou's river, mountains, lake, and city.

"Wushan Tianfeng" is one of the ten scenic spots of the new West Lake in 1984. Wushan is not high, only 94 meters, but because it is located in the urban area, it overlooks the streets and alleys to the east, north and northwest, and overlooks the Qiantang River and the plains on both sides to the south. When you climb up Wushan, you still feel like you are soaring and transcending, and you can take in the beauty of Hangzhou's rivers, mountains, lakes and cities. This is how the name "Wushan Tianfeng" came about.
One of the New Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake, Wushan, located southeast of the lake, stands 94 meters tall and boasts beautiful scenery, unique rocks, clear springs, and captivating caves. Atop the mountain stands the City God Pavilion, towering above the clouds and awe-inspiring. Wushan Mountain forms the tail end of the South Mountain of West Lake, extending into the urban area of Hangzhou. During the Spring and Autumn Period, this area served as the southern boundary of the State of Wu. A dozen peaks, including Ziyang, Yunju, Jindi, Qingping, Baolian, Qibao, Shifo, Baoyue, Luotuo, and Emei, form a southwest-northeast arc of hills, collectively known as Wushan. While Wushan Mountain is not high, its intrusion into the city center allows it to overlook many streets to the east, north, and northwest. To the south, one can overlook the Qiantang River and the flat fields on both sides. Climbing Wushan Mountain creates a sense of soaring above, offering unparalleled views of Hangzhou's river, mountains, lake, and city, hence the name "Wushan Tianfeng."
Next to the Hefang Street scenic area, I once rode my bike halfway up and came down as it was getting dark. The environment is very good and suitable for a weekend outing.
On a hill, next to the Hangzhou Museum, overlooking the West Lake in Hangzhou.
Wushan Mountain isn't high, but because it's nestled into the city, its east, north, and northwest sides overlook the streets and alleys of the city. To the south, you can overlook the Qiantang River and the flat fields on both sides. Climbing Wushan Mountain still gives you a sense of soaring above the ground, and you can take in the beauty of Hangzhou's river, mountains, lakes, and city. This is how the name "Wushan Tianfeng" came about. (From Baidu Encyclopedia)
It is also one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. On Wushan Mountain, the scenery of West Lake is quite good. However, you need to walk up the mountain to get here. Fortunately, it doesn't take too long and you will arrive soon.

Leading a million troops to the West Lake, he immediately took the highest peak of Wushan Mountain. With great ambition and determination, he conquered the world. However, his defeat at Caishi was all in vain.
It is close to Wushan Square and Hefang Street business district. Although there is a strong commercial atmosphere and there is not much delicious food in the restaurants, climbing Wushan Mountain, which is not too high, occasionally can be regarded as a change of pace in life. The vegetation is lush and the environment is very good. You can come down to see the old houses on Hefang Street and experience the vicissitudes of Hu Qingyu Tang. Just don't buy anything!
"Wushan Tianfeng," one of the ten new West Lake scenic spots, refers to this place. Wushan, located southeast of Hangzhou's West Lake Scenic Area, was named Wushan because it formed the westernmost border of the State of Wu during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Locals also call it Chenghuang Mountain because of the City God Temple atop it. Climbing to the summit of Wushan Mountain and then to the rooftop of the City God Temple offers a panoramic view of West Lake and its surroundings, a truly stunning sight unlike the typical view we get from below.
It is one of the eight scenic spots of West Lake. It is better to see the scenery than to hear about it. It is a good idea to come and have a look.
Wushan Scenic Area is very close to my residence. I went to climb a mountain in the evening. If I am lucky, I can see many squirrels in the mountain. Because I was alone, I walked down when it was getting dark. In fact, I really wanted to see the night view on the mountain. Friends who are interested can try it.
There is really nothing to see. It's just a small view.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very good, mainly for free, and you can see the West Lake
I've passed Hefang Street several times but never went to Wushan. This time I came here specifically to enjoy the plum blossoms. I went to Gushan before and only saw wintersweet. It was also free of charge but more beautiful than Gushan. The Water-Splashing Guanyin, the Twelve Zodiac Stones, etc. are relatively scattered. No one led the way and I had to look for them slowly. I didn't see some of them. I missed Qingyi Cave and Sanmao Temple. No one explained the Twelve Zodiac Stones, so I didn't see any of them. Chenghuang Pavilion charges a fee, so I didn't go. I also climbed up and went to Jianghu Huiguan Pavilion. The scenery was still good and you can see West Lake. Although I was tired, the air was good after the rain. There were many camellias and wintersweet along the way. The red plum blossoms next to the pavilion were nice. I think it was called Bailu Pavilion, but I've forgotten it a little.
Dragons and phoenixes dance to the beauty of Qiantang Lake and mountains, and the sound of jade flutes drifts
According to research, in ancient times, West Lake was a bay connected to the Qiantang River, with Wushan and Baoshishan as the two headlands surrounding this bay. During the Spring and Autumn Period, it was the southern boundary of the Wu State, hence the name Wushan. During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period (some say the Song Dynasty), a City God Temple was built on the mountain, leading to its name also known as Chenghuang Mountain. It is now commonly known as Wushan.
Wushan, stretching from Wansong Ridge in the west to Drum Tower in the east, comprises more than a dozen peaks, including Ziyang, Yunju, Baolian, and Emei. Since ancient times, it has been a prime spot for ascending and enjoying the city's scenic beauty. From Chenghuang Pavilion, one can take in Hangzhou's "hundreds of thousands of houses," the Qianjiang River, a ribbon dotted with sailboats, and the mirror-like West Lake, a sea of pleasure boats.
Wushan has long been known for its "five abundant" features: ancient trees and clear springs, unusual rock formations, numerous temples and monasteries, diverse folk customs, and numerous relics of famous figures. Over its millennia, Wushan has accumulated historical and cultural heritage, including the Chenghuang Pavilion. The "Cheng" and "Huang" originally referred to the city walls and the ravines outside them, and were used to pray for peace within the city.
A famous mountain in the center of Hangzhou, you can climb up to see the West Lake from afar, enjoy the moon and the spring breeze...
Convenient transportation, right by the West Lake, at the end of Hefang Street
It's a nice spot with towering trees! It's a pity that the City God Pavilion has been turned into a hotel. The City God will have some complaints!
It's conveniently located right by West Lake, at the end of Hefang Street. There's no entrance fee to the mountain, but you need one to get to the top! The view at night is also great!
Located southeast of West Lake, it stands 94 meters tall, boasting picturesque scenery, unique rocks, clear springs, and beautiful caves. The Chenghuang Pavilion, towering above the clouds, stands majestically. Wushan Mountain is the tail end of the South Mountain of West Lake, extending into the urban area of Hangzhou. During the Spring and Autumn Period, this area served as the southern boundary of the State of Wu. A dozen peaks, including Ziyang, Yunju, Jindi, Qingping, Baolian, Qibao, Shifo, Baoyue, Luotuo, and Emei, form a southwest-northeast arc of hills, collectively known as Wushan Mountain. While Wushan Mountain is not high, due to its location within the city, its east, north, and northwest sides overlook the streets and alleys. To the south, one can overlook the Qiantang River and the flat fields on both sides. Climbing Wushan Mountain creates a sense of soaring above, offering unparalleled views of Hangzhou's river, mountains, lake, and city, hence the name "Wushan Tianfeng."
It's opposite the West Lake. I've never been there. There's a building on top.
One of the ten scenic spots of West Lake, there are many snacks around and you can go sightseeing
On the first day of training in Hangzhou, I wandered around at night and stumbled upon Wushan Mountain with Director Dong. I was amazed to find such a tranquil haven amidst the bustling city. The towering ancient trees gave it a sense of timelessness. Next door was a grocery store with super cheap items – it was clearly a local groceries shop.
In the evening, we climbed up from Chenghuang Pavilion. It was dusk and there were so few visitors that it didn't seem like a tourist attraction. There were student tickets available and the attraction was open until about 10 pm. You could overlook the West Lake, which was breathtakingly beautiful.
"Although it is not high, when you climb Wushan, you still feel as if you are in the air, and you can take in the beauty of Hangzhou's rivers, mountains, lakes, and cities" - it is so well written, and the description is accurate to the last word! I originally just wanted to climb the back mountain of West Lake and look at the West Lake from afar, but I didn't expect it to be so beautiful.
Wushan Square is actually quite large; I still haven't finished exploring the back hills. There's a Hangzhou Museum at the entrance to Hefang Street, worth a visit. If you have time, you can visit the City God Pavilion for 30 yuan per person. The guided tour is free (though there's really not much to say). Things on Hefang Street are negotiable! There are a lot of herbal medicine vendors on the third floor of Wushan Flower and Bird City. They're very affordable and high-quality. My mom loves buying herbs there to make all kinds of soups. Last time, I saw a giant Ganoderma lucidum for 30 yuan per jin! I weighed it, and it was 12 yuan each. I never knew Ganoderma lucidum could be that cheap! Shiitake mushrooms are 10 yuan per jin, but that's getting off topic!
If you climb from the back mountain, there are very few people along the way. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can see the scenery of West Lake.
I walked out of Nansong Street. It was raining, so I walked into this mountain for no reason, because there were many trees to shelter me from the rain. Later, when I came out of the gate, I realized what this place was. To get to the top of the mountain, you need to pay to enter the attic.
We went up there at night, with a 30 yuan ticket. We walked to the top floor of Chenghuang Pavilion and found a private room where the whole family had a meal.
If you arrive in the morning, you can use the afternoon to visit some free attractions, but if you want to go to Chenghuang Pavilion, you need to buy a ticket, which costs 30 yuan.
Wushan is located in the southeast of West Lake, adjacent to Hefang Street in the north and Fenghuang Mountain in the south. The mountain is not high and has dense trees, making it a suitable place to relax on weekends. You can visit the entire mountain in about 3 hours. There are two attics on the mountain, one of which is charged a fee. You can climb up to the high building to have a panoramic view of West Lake.
Interesting attractions on the mountain include Wugong Temple, City God Temple (Pavilion), and First Peak. The tallest structure appears to be the City God Pavilion, a modern replica of an antique building with an elevator. Its treasure is a model of ancient Hangzhou. The First Peak is a reference to the line "With a million troops on the West Lake, we will ascend to the first peak of Wushan Mountain." The characters for "First Peak" are now fake, as they use the simplified Chinese character "峰" (peak) instead of the traditional Chinese character "峯."
This can be seen everywhere. People who go to Hangzhou will be curious about where it goes up. Later, I went to look for it when I had time.
You can pass by here when you go to Qinghefang. It looks like a park.
A thick mountain wall with four big characters on it: "Wushan Tianfeng".
The two people who have spent a lot of energy will have a big meal at night~~~
Wushan Night Market is a great choice. Located at No. 1 Yan'an Road, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, it connects north and south with Wulin Square in downtown Hangzhou. Completed in September 1999, it covers 80,000 square meters and is one of the largest squares in Hangzhou's main urban area, and the closest city square to West Lake. Tourist attractions such as Hefang Street, the Hangzhou Museum, and the Southern Song Imperial Street are also located near Wushan Square. "Wushan Tianfeng," one of the new ten scenic spots of West Lake, is also located here.
Of course there are direct buses as well.
Wushan Square itself doesn’t have much of a special feature, but the proximity to Hefang Street definitely brings that into the area, with many locals flying kites and doing morning exercises here.
Wushan Tianfeng is one of the ten scenic spots of West Lake. Wushan, a remnant of the Nanshan Mountains of West Lake, is not very high, but it boasts numerous peaks and numerous historical sites. The frustrating thing is that, except for the clearly marked signposts at the various historical sites on Ziyang Mountain, the signposts on the surrounding hills are less detailed. It's common to walk a long way, realize you're on the wrong road, and then have to backtrack and find your way again.
This is a rarely visited attraction. Early in the morning, you'll see elderly people square dancing. Wushan Mountain only has the City God Pavilion, and there's not much else going on inside. I usually head straight to the top floor, where I can gaze out over the vast expanse of the lake, soak in the breeze, and just relax. The view is quite nice, with a direct view of West Lake.
Overall: Quite worth going.
view: Located in the main urban area, there are quite a few attractions nearby. It's right next to Hefang Street, and Wushan Square is just below Wushan Tianfeng. Go up the stone steps, and you'll find the Hangzhou Museum. Those interested can check it out. Further up, there's the Wansong Academy, also known as the place where Sunday blind dates are said to take place. At the top is the City God Pavilion, but it seems you need a ticket. It's a beautiful place to take photos of the night view. There are many restaurants and Hefang Street snacks nearby. There's no shortage of food or shopping. There's also the Wushan Flower and Bird City, Hangzhou No. 4 Middle School, and the West Lake Yintai. If you want to visit, there's quite a lot to do. The attractions are quite concentrated, including the Drum Tower.
Services: Multiple bus routes run to Wushan Square, making it very convenient. Public bicycles are also available for rental.
Wushan is even more beautiful at night, and the lights will only add to the beauty.
Located near the Southern Song Dynasty Imperial Street in Hangzhou, there are no high mountains in Hangzhou. There is a poem that goes like this: "Bringing a million soldiers to the West Lake, they immediately ascended the first peak of Wushan Mountain."
It also belongs to the Wushan Scenic Area, and there is a pavilion overlooking the West Lake.
I should have passed by Wushan Tianfeng. I went to the Chenghuang Pavilion up there. The scenery was beautiful. I drank tea there and looked at many corners of Hangzhou in the distance. It was a very relaxing place.
There are a lot of people on the mountain, many teahouses, and the locals eat and play cards together, which is very leisurely.
There are also small stalls for shopping in the park, I am willing to go shopping
My friend has lived in Hangzhou for several years and has never been to Wushan Mountain. I saw cheap tickets on Tongcheng.com and asked her to come along; she has a citizen card and can go for free. The scenery is beautiful, and there's a flower and bird market right below.
Wushan Square has a carved stone wall, Wushan Tianfeng
It is crisp and delicious, absolutely amazing. It does not have the prosperity of the city, but it has the feeling of the city, ancient and charming.
Wushan Mountain is located south of the city. Wushan Square at the foot of the mountain connects to Imperial Street via Hefang Street. Atop the mountain, besides the renowned Drum Tower, there are also a variety of unexpected teahouses and temples. We recommend climbing from Wugongshankou, just south of Imperial Street, behind the Drum Tower Gate. From there, you can explore as far as you can. This easy and surprising journey is especially suitable during the turn of spring and summer.
Wushan Square, located on Wushan Mountain, offers a panoramic view of West Lake.
It happened to be a rainy day when we went there, which was also a different kind of fun.
On the edge of West Lake, on the streets of Hefang, you can take a look
Wushan Tianfeng, one of the new Ten Scenic Spots of West Lake, lies southeast of the lake. While Wushan isn't very high, the City God Pavilion atop it is truly majestic. Walking westward from Hefang Street leads to Wushan Square, where you can ascend the mountain. The tree-lined mountain is well-established with steps and trails leading up. From the Jianghu Huiguan Pavilion on Wushan, you can overlook the City God Pavilion, West Lake, and the Qiantang River to the south. There's no entrance fee to Wushan (entrance to the City God Pavilion is 30 yuan), making it a great place to visit in Hangzhou.
Walking along Hefang Street, I reached Wushan Square. Looking up, I could see the City God Pavilion, which echoed with the Leifeng Pagoda across the way. It was a great place to admire West Lake from afar. The mountain isn't too high, so cars can drive up, but it was larger than I expected. It would probably take about three hours to explore all the mountain's attractions. The City God Pavilion is the most imposing, and it's even more beautiful when illuminated at night.

I feel that the natural scenery of Wushan Tianfeng is very good!
The most famous tourist attractions in Hangzhou. When you come to Hangzhou, you should visit these tourist attractions.
There is a large Wushan Square below Wushan Tianfeng, which is full of tourists.
There are many things to eat at Hefang Street below.
From Wushan Square, you can enjoy a panoramic view of West Lake. It's a very typical view in Hangzhou. The snacks nearby are worth a visit.
Not far from the West Lake, the Chenghuang Pavilion above is the main attraction, where you can see the panoramic view of the West Lake and Hangzhou City.
The scenery is beautiful, it's nice to have a stroll when you have nothing to do
It's a very cool and secluded place, right next to Qinghefang. It's good to take a walk here and breathe some fresh air.
It is very close to Hefang Street. There is an attic at the entrance of Hefang Street. The mountain is not high, so I can't really feel the wind. . .
I passed by Wushan on the way to Hefang Street, but I didn’t go up the mountain to take a closer look because I was short on time.
Wushan Tianfeng is not far from Hefang Street, but I was interviewed by a TV station here. Although the scenery is average and I didn’t climb up to experience it, it is still a deep memory.
The top of the mountain is at a certain height and the wind is strong enough.
Wushan Tianfeng, one of the new ten scenic spots of West Lake. Due to time constraints, we did not go inside to take a closer look. When we passed by at night, we saw a large temple on the mountain with lights on, which seemed very magnificent.
This scenic spot is one of the new ten scenic spots of West Lake. It is located on the top of a small hill and has a completely man-made City God Pavilion. However, the air in Wushan is still good.
As one of the new ten scenic spots, I must check in. There are not many attractions, probably because I did not go to the paid area.
During the May Day holiday, when West Lake was crowded and hot, I happened to climb Wushan Mountain. It was great to be surrounded by greenery and avoid the crowds.
Located in Wushan Square, it's okay. If you have time, you can go for a walk.
