It is one of the "Three Causeways of West Lake" along with Bai Causeway and Su Causeway, passing through important scenic spots such as Huagang Watching Fish, Yuhu Bay, and Quyuan Fenghe.
To commemorate Yang Mengying, the governor of Hangzhou who dredged the lake and built the dike, later generations named the dike "Yanggong Dike" and the six bridges on the dike "Liu Bridges".
Here, the scenery changes as you walk, and the beautiful mountains and rivers are dazzling, and the gentle breeze of virtue caresses your cheeks.

Yangdi is not far from Sudi. The scenery here is still good and lush, but there are fewer people.
My favorite place among the West Lake attractions. Few tourists go there.
Compared to Su Causeway and Bai Causeway, I personally prefer Yanggong Causeway. There are not so many tourists, it is quiet and comfortable, very suitable for a slow walk and enjoying your own leisure time. There are also gardens and landscapes here, which is great.
Compared with the crowded Su Causeway, Yanggong Causeway is less crowded and more comfortable, and is definitely worth a visit.
Turning from Su Causeway into Yanggong Causeway, you suddenly enter another world with beautiful scenery and relatively few people.
Raised in seclusion, unknown to the world, it is hard to give up one's natural beauty
The scenery along the West Lake embankments is pretty good. If there aren't many people, it's nice to take a walk there!
The Yanggong Causeway area itself has relatively few tourists.
In addition, there are plank roads, small bridges, docks and ships in the woods.
It seems like I am looking at cedar trees in the Northeast.
The scenery of Yanggong Dike is actually not inferior to that of Su Causeway. Su Causeway has six bridges, a willow branch and a peach branch. The greenness of Sugong Dike is more intense than Su Causeway. It is half mountain scenic area and half lake scenic area. The landscape scenic area like the covered bridge is very beautiful, which is also the characteristic of Jiangnan gardens.
Compared with the crowded Su Causeway, Yanggong Causeway is less crowded, more comfortable, and more worth a visit.
Yang Causeway Jingxing is one of West Lake's famous scenic spots. One of the seven of West Lake's new ten scenic spots, Yanggong Causeway, the fifth bridge from north to south, faces Nangao Peak and Santaishan in the distance. From the Southern Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, the bridge was named "Jingxing" because of the nearby Sanxian Temple and the gathering place of virtuous people. "Jingxing" originally meant a broad road, but here it is extended to mean noble and illustrious virtues.
Yanggong Dike, the seventh of the new ten scenic spots of West Lake, is the fifth bridge from north to south. It faces Nangao Peak and Santaishan in the distance. From the Southern Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, the bridge was named "Jingxing" because there was a Sanxian Temple nearby and virtuous people gathered here.
It is recommended not to go there during holidays. Although it is not as crowded as Baidi, there are still too many people.
I prefer the tranquility here, with willows swaying and water flowing under the small bridge.
One of the three embankments of West Lake that is open to traffic. I have had many physical examinations in the sanatorium next to it. Now when I see these four words, I wonder if it is one of the new ten scenic spots of West Lake. The surrounding area does have some scenery on the shore of West Lake.
This wasn't my first time on Yanggong Dike. I hadn't anticipated its length, but with a smooth drive, three minutes wasn't enough. The most striking thing was the canopy of plane trees lining the road. This hike also led to a new discovery: warm, humid weather is hydrangea season.
Leaving the Dongpo Memorial Hall, we continued west along the lake to Yanggong Causeway. Yanggong Causeway is one of the "Three Causeways of West Lake," along with Bai Causeway and Su Causeway. It was excavated during the Ming Dynasty under the supervision of Yang Mengying, hence the name. Six bridges crisscross the causeway, named from south to north: Junyuan, Jingxing, Yinxiu, Wolong, Liujin, and Huanbi. Together with the six bridges on Su Causeway, they form the "Twelve Bridges of West Lake."
The longest embankment in Hangzhou, with beautiful scenery around it, including mountains and water, and Hangzhou Flower Garden and other attractions on the side.
Apart from the fact that there were too many people, the scenery is better seen than heard.
There are a large number of rowboats parked at the dock in the Yanggong Dike section. Unlike the popular docks such as Huagang and Zhongshan, this place is quiet most of the time and is not open during holidays.
Yanggong Causeway is not as popular as Su Causeway, but it has a more unique flavor.
However, you still need to drive to Yanggong Dike. There are several ups and downs in the bridges, and the surrounding scenery is peaceful and quiet.
However, it is better for foreign tourists to walk along Su Causeway.
I love it! I go there every year. More than once. The spring is beautiful, the autumn is charming, the summer is filled with lotus, and the winter is filled with snow and rain.
I had never noticed Yanggong Causeway before, but this time I happened to walk up there and found it was lush with green trees, surrounded by mountains and water, very Hangzhou.
Located west of West Lake, this road, originally called Xishan Road, was later renamed Yanggong Causeway after renovations and water diversion. The road, lined with towering sycamore trees, is a beautiful sight. The entire 3.5-kilometer stretch features six bridges, each offering a glimpse into the beauty of West Lake's landscape. The road's construction was overseen by Yang Mengying, the prefect of Hangzhou during the Ming Dynasty, hence its name. Located on the west bank of West Lake, it is one of the three causeways of the lake, alongside the Bai Causeway and the Su Causeway.
Yang Causeway Jingxing is one of West Lake's famous scenic spots. One of the seven of West Lake's new ten scenic spots, Yanggong Causeway, stretching from north to south, faces Nangao Peak and Santaishan. From the Southern Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, the bridge was named "Jingxing" because of the nearby Three Sages Temple and the gathering place of virtuous people. "Jingxing" originally meant broad road, but here it is extended to mean noble and illustrious virtue.
The title of Yanggong Dike, "Jingxing," captures both form and spirit. It expresses the admiration of Yang Mengying for his dredging of the lake and his virtuous deeds, which benefited the people of Hangzhou and West Lake, while also highlighting the lingering charm of the Three Sages' Shrine. Here, the scenery changes with each step, and the breathtaking scenery of beautiful mountains and waters is breathtaking, with the gentle breeze of virtue caressing one's face.
The restoration of Yanggong Dike has revitalized the natural scenery and cultural features of Lake West. It is no longer just a road, but a refined string of beads, connecting the historical treasures of Lake West.
A place worth strolling, the willow shade on both sides is very comfortable
I can't think of any words to praise this scenery. If I could paint, I would definitely come here to sketch and bring back the golden leaves and the mirror-like lake water to walk through a peaceful place.
This road is very quiet, with almost no one riding on it. The scenery is completely different from that of Baidi and Sudi.
Highly recommended, it was recommended by a classmate who grew up in Hangzhou. It was less crowded and beautiful. The six of us felt like we had entered a wealthy man's backyard and got separated.
A towering mountain, awe inspiring, a path of beauty. Quiet and picturesque, this early morning escape is perfect for the crowds. At Liliu Bridge, every other willow tree stands out, every other peach tree. In the morning, admire Yanggong Dike from a bird's-eye view! This scenery is truly unique.
The beautiful gardens of Guozhuang, where people are having breakfast in the lotus breeze of Quyuan, what a wonderful enjoyment, enjoying the autumn breeze~

Yanggong Causeway is a favorite spot of mine because it's quiet and less crowded. You could spend a whole day strolling along it, stopping here and there. It's not that the causeway is particularly beautiful; it's not on the same level as the Su Causeway and Bai Causeway. Rather, it's that there are so many scenic views on either side, like a necklace connecting the Quyuan Fenghe and Huagang Guanyu gardens to the east with the Hangzhou Flower Garden and Maojiabu to the west.
The locals don't blow it, just for peace and quiet
If you think the scenery of the six parks is beautiful, then Yanggongdi is definitely worth mentioning.
It's too much to walk all the way. It's not like the Baidi and Sudi where you can just sprinkle water.
It is best to take bus No. 51 from Wushan Square to the West Lake 1st Loop Line.
It would be exciting if the girls stood at the front of the car and crossed the six suspension bridges.
Then get off wherever the scenery is pleasing to your eye and where there are few people.
Just find a rock by the lake and sit down to feed the mosquitoes
Compared with the crowded Broken Bridge, the mood is naturally very comfortable.

The tree-lined avenue has good air and is suitable for walking or cycling
Compared with Baidi and Sudi, there are fewer people here, but the scenery is not inferior to them at all.
The greening of Yanggong Dike is very good. Along the way, there are attractions such as Gai Jiaotian's former residence, Guozhuang, Hangzhou Flower Garden, Maojiabu, etc. The scenery along the way is also very beautiful, and walking all the way will give you a great visual experience.
Cross the Yanggong Causeway of West Lake and take a bus all the way there. The scenery is beautiful.
The main reason is that there are few people. This place is mainly gardens, Gaozhuang, Guozhuang; Kangzhuang and Liuzhuang are the state guesthouses.
There is a dike outside the West Lake, which is probably the longest of the three dikes. You can go to Longjing Village by walking along Yanggong Dike. The scenery on both sides of the river is super beautiful when the sun sets.
It is one of the three major embankments, along with Su Causeway and Bai Causeway, and has famous attractions such as Huagang Watching Fish and Quyuan Lotus Breeze!
There are few people and the scenery is beautiful. It is best to walk and enjoy it slowly.
There are too many people on statutory holidays, so I can't appreciate its beauty at all. But in the spring, when there are no people, it should be very beautiful.
It is very beautiful when there are few people, suitable for slow walking and enjoying the scenery
There are few people, it's very comfortable, all the way from Taiziwan to Maojiabu to Xiaoxihu... The most beautiful attractions are those that you don't notice... Spring is in the air...
Baidi and Sudi are too famous, while Yangdi is always in the shadows.
Cycling on Yanggong Dike is the most pleasant thing.
It is slightly inferior to Su Causeway and Yang Causeway. If you ride around West Lake, you can stroll
Yangdi Jingxing is one of the famous scenic spots in West Lake. The scenery along the way is beautiful, especially in spring and autumn.
Yanggong Dike is probably at its most beautiful in autumn and winter, especially the reeds of Turtle Pond in autumn and the first snow in winter. It's the emptier part of the entire West Lake Scenic Area. First-time visitors to Hangzhou wouldn't consider Yanggong Dike; only those who enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle in Hangzhou would venture to the Maojiabu area. The Yanggong Dike area is truly a quiet retreat, especially the Turtle Pond area, where wild charm abounds. The rustling of the reeds in the wind makes it seem as if a few animals are about to emerge from the woods.
You must visit this attraction, as it has few people, good air, greenery and beautiful scenery.
Later generations expressed their admiration for Yang Mengying's dredging of the lake and building of the embankment, which benefited the people of Hangzhou and the virtue of West Lake.
This area has relatively few tourists and is very beautiful to visit. It leads directly to the back door of Gushan Park.
Walking to Yanggong Causeway, I admire the majestic scenery, the poetic words that always bring me happiness from the first glance. Strolling along Yanggong Causeway, I see cyclists, elderly people strolling, and the sunlight filtering through the leaves. In the rare comfortable temperature, strolling along Yanggong Causeway, the parks, small bridges, and flowers along the roadside exude a southern elegance.
I was tired after a few days of walking and didn't see much. If you go out with friends, you can rent a bicycle.

On the 18th, Hangzhou will hold the West Lake Expo. Where will it be held? What will it be like? What are the highlights? This ancient city, full of vitality and unique charm, is truly wonderful.
Like Su Causeway and Bai Causeway, Yanggong Causeway was built by a Hangzhou local official (I think it was Yang Wanli!) using silt dredged from West Lake. It is shorter and located near the train station.
Personally, I like Yanggong Dike better than Beishan Street. I recommend it. You can walk or ride a bike there. There are plane trees along the way. It is cool and quiet in summer.
Strolling along the West Lake, the mood and mentality determine the quality of the scenery
I went there in another season and felt the same mood, haha~~~
We arrived in Hangzhou in the afternoon. After checking in, we borrowed two bicycles from the owner and started cycling in Yangti. It was so comfortable. The good environment was a pleasant surprise for us who were in Beijing. The roads were well maintained and suitable for cycling. The West Lake is right next to us. We can enjoy the view while cycling. When we are tired, we can rest and enjoy the beautiful West Lake.
Yang Ti walked in between the mountains and the water, and he felt completely relaxed.
Su Causeway, Bai Causeway and Yanggong Causeway are the three long causeways surrounding West Lake. My favorite is Yanggong Causeway. The reason is probably because compared with the more crowded Su Causeway and Bai Causeway, Yanggong Causeway is more suitable for a leisurely stroll or cycling.
Because it was winter when I went there, and many branches of the willow trees had dried up during the Spring Festival, so it is best to go in spring. Next time I will go in spring.
Yanggong Causeway doesn't have as many tourists as Baidi Causeway and Sudi Causeway, and there are no shops along the way. It's very quiet and suitable for relaxing.
It's worth a visit. You can rent a car and ride it while having fun.
Take a walk when you have nothing to do, it's beautiful~
A long embankment above West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.
It's been raining in Hangzhou these past few days, and the temperature didn't rise until the afternoon. Despite the drizzle, we returned to West Lake. It's not the season for laurel or lotus blossoms, but the spring rain without apricot blossoms is still misty. For the first time in my many West Lake visits, I took a leisurely stroll along Yanggong Causeway. Many areas previously blocked off by hotels and private clubs are now open to the public, and the scenery inside is truly stunning, quiet and peaceful. We also discovered the ancient Jingxing Bridge. Someone once said that visiting West Lake wasn't anything special, as many cities have lakes. In reality, West Lake is more than just a lake within the city; it exists in poetry and songs, and in the history of our nation. So for me, like Bai Juyi, when I recall the south of the Yangtze River, Hangzhou is my most cherished place.
Yanggong Causeway is one of the "Three Causeways of West Lake" along with Bai Causeway and Su Causeway. Yanggong Causeway of West Lake is located to the west of West Lake.
It is quiet, with tall trees on both sides, and it is very pleasant to walk around.
From Quyuan Fenghe, we walked along Yanggong Causeway to the Yu Qian Temple. By now, we had visited all three of the West Lake Causeways. Unlike the Bai Causeway and Su Causeway we had previously visited, Yanggong Causeway is not only pedestrian-friendly but also motorized.
Unfortunately, after finally reaching the Yu Qian Temple, I found that it had been closed since February 1 this year for building maintenance and display renovations.
