Non-stadium parking lots at Gillette

NT00 mentioned these. I'm thinking of taking Commercial/Central/North to Rt 1 from Red Roof+ Mansfield for easy in/out of one of these lots. I'm a little confused on the #'s seem to be different on different maps. They should be called the General Parking? Does this route sound plausible? Thanks.

If you’re planning to park at one of the non-stadium lots at Gillette Stadium, often referred to as “General Parking” or “NT00” lots, your proposed route from the Red Roof+ in Mansfield via Commercial Street/Central Street/North Street to Rt 1 is generally plausible. These lots are designed for easy in-and-out access without needing to navigate the main stadium parking areas.

Here are some details and tips:

  • The General Parking areas (sometimes labeled NT00, NT01, NT02 on different maps) are located north and east of the stadium and are smaller than the main stadium lots, which can make ingress and egress quicker for attendees staying offsite.
  • Using Commercial/Central/North to Rt 1 is a reasonable approach because it allows you to avoid the main stadium traffic near the main entrances, especially if you’re trying to leave quickly after an event.
  • Signage on game/event days can sometimes differ from maps, so pay attention to temporary traffic directions and follow staff instructions. These lots are clearly marked when the stadium is open for events.

Additional tips:

  • Consider arriving earlier to secure a closer spot within the General Parking area, as they can fill up depending on the event.
  • Have a map or GPS handy, as the lot numbers and street names can be slightly confusing; local signage is usually accurate on the day of the event.
  • If your goal is a quick exit, familiarize yourself with multiple exit routes from the lot, as some directions may change after events to optimize traffic flow.

Overall, your planned route is feasible, and the General Parking lots are a good option for avoiding the busier main lots while still providing reasonable access to Gillette Stadium.
