Condo/Villa best resort

Hello!

We are a group of 8 traveling to the Orlando area in April. 2 children 3&7 and then 6 adults (parents and grandparents) We usually stay at the Hyatt Grand Cypress but we would like to do a condo/villa rental this time so we can all stay together. I have looked at Storey Lake Resort, Solara, Paradsie Palms, Vista Cay, Paradise Grande and Evermore. I am primary looking for a more upscale 3-4 bedroom and 3 bathrooms and a resort like pool area preferably with a poolside bar, as we plan to spend a couple days by the pool. Any recommendations as to where may be the best spot for us. I am open to any other options you may have besides the above places. Thank you so much!!

For a group of 8 traveling to Orlando with a mix of children and adults, a condo or villa rental can offer more space, privacy, and the convenience of shared living areas compared to standard hotel rooms. Since you’re looking for upscale accommodations with 3–4 bedrooms, at least 3 bathrooms, and a resort-style pool area with amenities like a poolside bar, it’s important to focus on communities that combine luxury, family-friendly features, and convenient access to the theme parks.

Among the properties you’ve listed, here’s a detailed look:

  • Storey Lake Resort – Modern and upscale, this resort offers large villas with 3–4 bedrooms. The community has multiple pools, a lazy river, and a clubhouse with a bar. It’s very family-oriented and close to Disney, but poolside bar options are limited compared to larger resorts.
  • Solara Resort – Stylish and contemporary, Solara provides 3–4 bedroom villas with full kitchens and spacious living areas. The pool area is large with cabanas and a bar area, making it a strong option if you plan to spend a couple of days enjoying poolside relaxation. Location-wise, it’s a short drive to Disney and not far from dining options.
  • Paradise Palms – Luxury villas with spacious layouts, including 3–4 bedrooms and multiple bathrooms. The community has a resort-style pool and clubhouse, but the poolside bar is more limited; it’s excellent for families who prefer a quieter, more residential feel.
  • Vista Cay – Situated closer to International Drive and Universal, Vista Cay offers 3-bedroom condos, but full 4-bedroom units are rarer. The pool is nice, but the resort-style bar and amenities are less extensive than Solara or Storey Lake.
  • Paradise Grande – High-end villas with upscale finishes, 3–4 bedrooms, and multiple bathrooms. The pool areas are large and family-friendly, but like other residential-style communities, the poolside bar may be limited compared to hotel resorts.
  • Evermore Orlando – Recently developed with modern villas, 3–4 bedroom options, and a resort-style pool. The clubhouse has a bar, and the overall feel is more upscale and quieter compared to more crowded communities. It’s excellent for a relaxing pool-focused stay.

Other recommendations to consider:

  • Windsor at Westside – Offers spacious luxury villas with private pools and access to a clubhouse with a poolside bar. Very family-friendly and close to Disney.
  • Reunion Resort – Upscale villas with 3–4 bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, and private pools. Reunion also has resort-style pools, a poolside bar, multiple restaurants, and golf courses. It is one of the few villa communities that truly combines condo-style living with full resort amenities.
  • Lakeside Retreats or Formosa Gardens – These communities offer 3–4 bedroom villas with shared or private pools. They are quieter and more residential but may not have full poolside bar services.

For your group, if the goal is a combination of upscale living, large villa space, and a resort-style pool with a bar, Solara Resort and Reunion Resort would likely be the best options. Solara offers a modern, stylish experience with a great poolside bar for casual days by the pool, while Reunion provides full resort amenities, making it a more comprehensive “resort” experience within a villa setting. Storey Lake and Paradise Grande are also excellent for families but may have slightly less on-site nightlife or bar options.

Finally, consider booking as early as possible for April, as villas with 3–4 bedrooms and multiple bathrooms are in high demand during spring vacation season. Confirm poolside bar availability and villa proximity to the main clubhouse to ensure convenient access during your pool days.
