Las Vegas pools end of October

Will be in vegas for end October 27-30. Will pools still be warm enough to use? Looking to stay at Mandalay bay. Any other recommendations for a pool can use if heated etc?

In Las Vegas, the weather at the end of October can still be quite pleasant, with average highs typically ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s °F (24-28°C). However, as the nights can be cooler, especially as you move towards the end of the month, it’s important to check specific pool heating options when booking your hotel, as not all pools may be heated during the off-season.

Regarding Mandalay Bay, it is well-known for its large and well-maintained pool area, including a sandy beach pool. The main pool at Mandalay Bay is heated year-round, which should make it comfortable for swimming even at the end of October. However, do note that some of the other pools in the area may be closed or have limited hours as the weather cools down. You should confirm directly with the hotel about the exact heating and hours of operation for the pools during your stay.

If you're looking for other recommendations for heated pools, here are a few hotels with great pool options that typically offer heated pools during the cooler months:

  • The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas – The Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Pool and the Chelsea Pool are both heated, and they have a great atmosphere with excellent views of the Strip. The pools tend to stay open and heated throughout the year, even in cooler months.
  • The Venetian – The pools at The Venetian are typically heated, and the hotel has several pools spread across its property. It's a luxurious option if you’re looking for a relaxing day poolside.
  • Caesars Palace – The Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis at Caesars Palace has heated pools and is a good option for pool-goers in cooler months. This expansive area offers various pools and amenities, including cabanas and poolside service.
  • Wynn Las Vegas – The Wynn has beautiful pools that are heated, offering a more tranquil and upscale pool experience. The pools are open year-round, and the resort is known for its luxurious amenities.

Lastly, keep in mind that Las Vegas pool hours and availability may vary depending on the hotel's policies and the weather. Be sure to reach out to your hotel ahead of time to confirm pool heating and any potential changes in hours during your stay. Overall, end of October should still be a good time to enjoy the pools in Las Vegas, especially if they are heated. Have a great trip!
