I will be in Atlanta for a few hours (7 hour layover) on a Saturday in late October. I have decided that I would like to spend my time in the Inman area but can't seem to find any specific recommendations for the streets with the best historic homes. Can someone either point me to a link or recommend a few streets that are "must see."
Inman Park is a beautiful and historic neighborhood in Atlanta, perfect for a walking tour, especially if you're interested in seeing charming Victorian homes and tree-lined streets. Here are a few streets and spots in the Inman Park area that you should definitely consider exploring during your layover:
Additionally, if you're interested in learning more about the history of Inman Park and its homes, consider stopping by the Inman Park neighborhood association or checking out the neighborhood's walking tour. The area has a rich history, and you can find information about the homes and their architects as you walk through the streets.
With a 7-hour layover, you should have plenty of time to enjoy this area, especially if you plan to use public transportation or ride-sharing to get there from the airport. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera—Inman Park is one of Atlanta’s most photogenic neighborhoods!
