All my travel plans for this summer were ruined due to the sudden outbreak of the epidemic. So I could only stay at home and cheer for the Olympic athletes.
In a TV interview after the game, Su Bingtian expressed his desire to travel to Inner Mongolia for a rest. As a veteran travel professional, You Xiaojun was immediately intrigued. "Su Bingtian" really has good taste; this is a great place to visit in autumn!

Hulunbuir is about to usher in its most beautiful autumn colors in early September. You Xiaojun has also prepared homework for everyone in advance and presented a map of the best autumn viewing times in Hulunbuir.
Save it and when the epidemic is over, you can rush to Hulunbuir right away!

If you think autumn in Hulunbuir is all about golden grasslands, you're wrong! There are many surprising sights hidden here that you may not know about. Today, I'll tell you eight ways to truly enjoy the autumn colors of Hulunbuir!
The sky is vast, the wilderness is boundless, and the prairie sky is an enchanting existence. The clouds seem to be right in front of you, as if you can tear off a piece with just a stretch of your hand and hide it in your pocket.

The azure sky, the white clouds, the brilliant golden grass, the sheep grazing leisurely with their heads down, and the songs flying everywhere.

Everything here is so wonderful, like the "paradise" that is hard to find in dreams.
Every September, the autumn wind from the northern desert roars across the wilderness of Inner Mongolia, arriving at the Hulunbuir grasslands. This lush land, as if God had overturned a palette, becomes extraordinarily colorful and enchanting.

On this trip, we will visit Mongolian tribes, gallop across the vast grasslands, and travel through the vast "golden ocean".

Head to the Genheyuan Wetland, also known as the "Natural Museum of China's Coldest Wetlands," where you can admire the forest valley deep in the Greater Khingan Range, with gurgling water, colorful autumn leaves, and dead trees beside the valley.

Arrive at Ergun Wetland, which is the most intact and largest wetland in my country today, and was once known as "the No. 1 wetland in Asia".

The clouds have not yet rolled away, and the wind is blowing gently. As we stand on a high hill and gaze into the distance, the Erguna Wetland before our eyes appears lonely and vast, and the autumn colors are intoxicating.
The Arxan-Chaihe volcanic cluster, nestled deep within the dense forests of the Greater Khingan Range, boasts diverse geological landscapes, including sky ponds, ground ponds, and lava canyons. These landscapes reveal the mysteries of the volcanic cluster.

Arxan Forest Park is characterized by its fusion of volcanic landforms and a forest park. Walking along the park's wooden plank paths, you'll be surrounded by scenic views such as Camelback Ridge, the Grand Canyon, and Rhododendron Lake. Listening to the gurgling stream, you'll be captivated by the stunning autumn scenery unique to Arxan.

When the first ray of sunlight shone on Arshan in the early morning, we came to Wusu Langzi Lake in the morning light. The morning mist here is a favorite of photographers.

Heading towards Chaihe Moon Town along the western section of the Mo'a Highway, you will see the nearly circular Moon Lake in front of you.

When the weather is clear, the Moon Lake is like a water mirror, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. It is like a fairyland on earth and is worthy of being a pearl lost in the Greater Khingan Range.
Hulunbuir-Daxing'anling area is the first place in China to welcome the autumn colors. It is the perfect place for those who are eager to see the autumn colors!

If you visit Hulunbuir in autumn, you must visit the Greater Khingan Range, where you will find not only the vibrantly colored larch forests but also the golden, straight birch forests.

Heading north, near the Mordaoga Forest Park, there are two slender islands nestled together, named Bailu Island.

The surrounding rivers embrace the forest, outlining the "Ω"-shaped peninsula. One cannot help but marvel at the wonders of nature.
The most famous border town in Hulunbuir is the city that never sleeps, Manzhouli.

On the map, it is a tiny dot on the border between China, Mongolia and Russia, and also a gorgeous fairy-tale town deep in the grassland. It is charming and lonely, lively and isolated.

After seeing the bustling Manzhouli, continue north along the Sino-Russian border highway to Enhe and Shiwei. Here you will experience the unique scenery of these border towns: they are peaceful and tranquil, full of rich exotic customs.

The most eye-catching place should be Qiquan Village. Qiquan in autumn is not inferior to Kanas in Xinjiang.

Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing water on one side, there are golden grass, trees, small wooden houses, wooden fences in front of the houses, curling smoke from the roofs, and puppies beside the houses... Coming here, you can experience the "slower days in the past."
"The autumn wind is the most nosy, turning its maple leaves red and its heads white"
Since ancient times, the red maple leaves in autumn have been a symbol of people's deep longing. Therefore, every autumn, people always flock to places where they can enjoy the maple leaves.

The Daiqintala maple on the Inner Mongolia Plateau is as gentle and delicate as the red maple in the south, but it also has the boldness and ruggedness of the north.

Compared to the maple trees in Daiqintala, the maple trees in Wudantala, located in Horqin Left Wing Rear Banner, are taller and thicker. Some are said to be over 500 years old.

The maple trees have stood tall for centuries amidst the ravages of raging sandstorms, each possessing a unique presence. Strong, mysterious, open, and unassuming, they attract countless visitors. In autumn, the maple trees are even more dazzling, each in its own unique form.
The best scenery in life is on the road, and the autumn scenery of Hulunbuir is also on the road.
The Mo'a Highway is a must-see and dreamlike journey, offering breathtaking views of grazing cattle and sheep, the dazzling beauty of vibrant colors, and the vibrant beauty of forest orioles chirping.

Here lies the 277-kilometer-long Sino-Russian border highway. Driving along this road, you'll see the golden Hulunbuir grassland on your right, the winding Ergun River on your left, and Russia on the other side.

The scenery around the highway is colorful. It is a road with rich content and a colorful art gallery.
The real "masters" of the Hulunbuir grassland are the adorable cows, horses and sheep, which either graze leisurely with their heads down or gallop freely.

The reindeer, the "four-legged beasts", are more lazy. They are either focused on finding food or lying on the ground for a while, enjoying a moment of leisure in the forest.

The most elegant one is the "long-legged crane" red-crowned crane. In ancient times, the red-crowned crane was a symbol of happiness, auspiciousness and nobility.

We will take you to the red-crowned crane breeding grounds and get close to these delightful "mascots".
As autumn approaches, Hulunbuir begins a magical transformation and ushers in the most beautiful scenery.
"May all the regrets of summer be for the encounter in autumn", we are waiting for you in the autumn of Hulunbuir!
