IconSiam is so famous that you have to visit it at least once when you come to Bangkok.

I spent the afternoon during this trip leisurely. It is easily accessible by taking the BTS Gold Line or shuttle boat, and its size is beyond imagination! It felt more like a complex cultural space than a simple shopping mall.

There is a traditional market zone decorated like a floating market on the first floor, so it was fun to look at traditional Thai snacks, food, and souvenirs. There are many foreign tourists, but it is trustworthy that many locals also visit! It feels more local and organized.

Pang Cha – A dessert cafe created by the Tipsamai team

I came across Pang Cha, a dessert cafe, while walking. Originally, I heard that it was a brand run by Tipsamai (the best pad thai restaurant in Thailand), so I was curious, but when I saw it in person, the store was pretty and the signature menu caught my eye.

I ordered the refreshing Pangcha milk tea, and I was really satisfied with the creamy foam and the fragrant black tea scent. The taste was like a luxurious Thai milk tea. I heard that ice cream and shaved ice are also popular, so I 100% want to visit again next time.

Starbucks Reserve – The view is amazing

And one of the most famous places in Icon Siam! It’s the Starbucks Reserve store. This branch, which is the largest in Bangkok and boasts a riverside view, is famous for its view.

The terrace seats are especially popular, and I was lucky enough to get a seat, so I sat down for a while and took pictures while looking out at the riverside and had a cup of coffee.

The interior is also stylish and luxurious, so it was more of a ‘space you want to stay in’ rather than just a place to drink coffee. It’s also perfect for taking pictures of the view.

IconSiam is more than just a shopping mall, it is a space that contains both the modern and traditional sensibility of Bangkok. It is a great place to enjoy shopping, but it is also a great place to relax at a cafe like Pangcha or Starbucks or to enjoy the view.
