I traveled to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, last year—not recently, but it was an amazing trip. The vibrant city atmosphere, diverse attractions, delicious food, and excellent accommodations made it a perfect and charming destination.

As the capital city, Bangkok offered an abundance of sights. Modern skyscrapers and stylish shopping malls lined the city, showcasing its dazzling charm. Especially, the huge shopping malls allow you to enjoy various brands and food all in one place, making it a paradise for shopping lovers.
But the true charm of Bangkok lies in the coexistence of its modern appearance and Thailand’s rich history. Along the Chao Phraya River, beautiful ancient sites like Wat Arun temple stand, allowing you to stroll through traces of the past and discover another side of Bangkok. The temple’s brightly illuminated night view was truly an unforgettable spectacle. 🌃

🍜 A gourmet paradise, an unforgettable feast of flavors
Living up to its reputation as a city of gastronomy, Bangkok had so many delicious foods. From street food to upscale restaurants, there were diverse options, making every meal a continuous delight. Especially, the sweet and tangy Pad Thai and the cool, sweet mango shaved ice were must-try essentials! 🥭 Dishes like fried rice and Tom Yum Goong, infused with Thailand’s unique spices, were enough to whet anyone’s appetite.

🏨 Elegant accommodations, comfortable rest
Excellent resorts and hotels that enhance the quality of your trip are another great advantage of Bangkok. Along with global chain hotels, local Thai chains like Anantara and Siam offer services and facilities that rival global standards. I stayed at the Anantara Hotel, where the beautiful traditional Thai architecture and attentive service allowed me to enjoy a comfortable and luxurious rest. There were so many great options that I want to try the Siam chain hotels on my next visit.
