Invite to worship at "Lama Temple", Beijing, peaceful mind in Beijing

#TravelEco

While walking around Beijing, I suddenly wanted to find a quiet place to rest my mind, so I stopped by Lama Temple, or Yonghegong in Chinese. It is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Beijing. Just walking in, I felt strangely peaceful. There was the smell of incense, the sound of the wind, and the people who came to worship with real determination.

The temple itself was very beautiful. It was a mixture of Chinese and Tibetan architecture. There were many things to see, but the highlight was finding a 26-meter-tall carved sandalwood Buddha statue in a building inside. When I saw it, my heart was still. It felt small and peaceful at the same time.

While walking, I was not in a hurry. I just raised my hands and prayed. It was like leaving the chaos behind. It was a simple moment, but it felt very good. It was like I could really rest my mind.

For anyone who comes to Beijing and wants to find a quiet place to worship lightly, I highly recommend going. It's really good for your heart.
