Busan Dessert Cafe with a Unique Atmosphere

In Busan, you can find cafes almost every few steps, each with its own unique characteristics. If you want to enjoy a leisurely and relaxing life, Busan is the right place.
Here are three sea view cafes I recommend. If you have time, why not order a cup of coffee in the cafe, look at the sea, and enjoy a leisurely time.
(1) The Having (더해빙커피)
🏛️ Address: 224-1 Jeoryeong-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan, South Korea (You can also visit the Baeksand Culture Village)
⏰ Business hours: Monday to Friday 12:00-19:00 / Saturday and Sunday 10:00-19:00
The Having is located in the Baeksand Culture Village. To be honest, there are many sea view cafes in the Baeksand Culture Village. Among them, "Having Moment" is located at the bus stop. It is very famous, but there are also many tourists, making it difficult to enjoy the sea in front of you quietly and leisurely. However, "The Having" is located on the main road, not in the alleys of the White Shoal Cultural Village. The menu is quite simple: besides coffee, there's only cheesecake, scones, and financier (financier). No savory snacks, so it's less crowded around lunchtime. Even so, the shop's elevated location and glass windows on the seaside offer both distant ocean views and a peaceful coffee break. Recommended: The Ice Cream Latte (KRW7,000). This coffee is topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It has a rich milky flavor with a hint of peanuts, and paired with the coffee, it's slightly sweet, but not overly so, making it a delicious treat.
(2) EL16.52
🏛️ Address: 177 Amnamgongwon-ro, Seo-gu, Busan, South Korea (Visiting Songdo)
⏰ Business hours: 10:00 - 21:30
🚌 Transportation: Take the Busan Subway to Nampo-dong Station, take bus No. 7, 9, 71, or 30 next to Lotte Department Store at Exit 8, get off at the Anam-dong Community Center and walk to the cable car station.
🎟️ Songdo Cable Car Ticket: Crystal Bottom Cable Car (with a view of the sea below) round trip (KRW22,000); Regular Cable Car round trip (KRW17,000).
EL16.52 Cafe, located in Songdo. It is recommended to take the cable car to Songdo for a more convenient trip. I recommend visiting the Songdo Skywalk first. After walking halfway around the trail, you'll find the Songdo Cable Car Station across from the exit. After arriving in Songdo, take the cable car and walk along the Songdo Nature Trail. After a full circuit, return to the cable car station and continue on to the Songdo Dragon Palace Cloud Bridge. Finally, descend the mountain path next to the Dragon Palace Cloud Bridge. The tall concrete building across from the exit is the EL16.52 Café. The café is primarily located on the third and fourth floors of the building. Orders are placed on the third floor, and the food is picked up by a vibrating machine using a numbered plate. Besides coffee, they also sell bread and pastries. While the selection is extensive, the presentation wasn't particularly appealing, so I simply ordered an iced Americano (KRW6,000). The coffee was average, but this place is known for its vast ocean views, not its food. With this view, it's a great place to relax after a long walk.
(3) P.ARK
🏛️ Address: 180 Haeyang-ro 195beon-gil, Yeongdo-gu, Busan, South Korea (Visit Taejongdae and National Maritime Museum)
⏰ Business Hours: 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM
🚌 Transportation: Take Bus No. 17 from Yeongdo Bridge at Nampo Subway Station. From Taejongdae, take Bus No. 17 as well. Bus No. 17 also passes by the National Maritime Museum, which is free to visit and worth a visit.
P.ARK is a large sea view cafe that opened in May 2021. It is said to be a cross-industry operation of a local shipbuilding company. The cafe is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of this complex cultural park. P.ARK is a portmanteau of "Platform" and "Ark." Upon entering, you're greeted by a dazzling array of creative plates and bowls, along with a variety of breads and pastries, each of which looks incredibly tempting. After ordering your coffee, you pick up your order at the coffee counter in the back, using a numbered sign. The coffee counter is a separate bar with a small TV on the opposite pillar that displays the current order. The cafe is quite large, and there's a short walk from the bar to the checkout counter. If you've never been, you'll feel like you're wandering around the Grand View Garden. The customer base is mostly locals, and even on weekdays, it's always packed. Window seats or those near them are a bit of a gamble. The cafe is fully self-service, so after your meal, you'll need to take your cups and plates to the recycling counter behind the bakery area. If you need to take bread to go, you'll also need to pack it up yourself. Next to the recycling area, there's a "self-service takeout area" for takeout.
