The rumored "Temple in the Sky" Doi Suthep

🇹🇭วัดพระธาตุดอยสุเทพ
(Wat Phra That Doi Suthep) Suthep)

As it is a representative spot of Chiang Mai, it is very crowded with not only tourists but also many Thai people.

You have to buy a ticket, but of course Thai people and foreigners have a different fee (don't worry, you are not being ripped off 😮💨) We went up by cable car.

This place is also famous as a power spot where wishes come true, and it is said to be especially beneficial for people born in the year of the sheep. Since it is a temple on top of a mountain, you can see the cityscape of Chiang Mai, so it seems to be called the temple in the sky.

On the way back, I went down the long stairs of Naga (snake god) (I was lucky enough to see a very famous monk).

When I got off, there were many stalls lined up, and there were many souvenirs lined up, from fruits to clothes and accessories with Chiang Mai-like embroidery. I also received the photos taken at the temple here 📷
There were many songtheo (shared buses), so it seems that it is easy to access from Chiang Mai city, even though it is on the mountain.
