⛰️🍃☁ A hidden gem in the heart of Chiang Mai, THEE Kashatharn is a true Lanna boutique-style hotel with a peaceful and private atmosphere, making you feel like you're on a distant mountain, yet conveniently located in the city center.
This time, I tried staying at THEE Kashatharn. The highlight of this place is its authentic Lanna boutique style, featuring brick and wood materials, along with intricate shadow play from various carvings, creating a warm and comfortable ambiance, perfect for a real retreat.
🏞️ This stay was in the Grand Oriental Suite, the largest room type here, located on the top floor with views of Chiang Mai city, Doi Suthep, and natural surroundings.
The room is very spacious, decorated in a modern Lanna style, with separate zones for a living area, bedroom, work desk, bathroom with a bathtub, and a long balcony for enjoying the view. I particularly loved the room's spaciousness and airy feel, making it feel like a homestay on a mountain, open and comfortable.
Despite being a small boutique hotel, it offers complete amenities, including:
Traditional Mhor Hom outfits for an authentic Northern experience, perfect for lounging, taking stylish check-in photos, or relaxing and engaging in hotel activities.
THESS brand hotel amenities, including shampoo and body wash, which I've used for years. Made from 100% Natural Essential Oil, they smell great and are free from harsh chemicals, ensuring they're gentle on sensitive skin.
A coffee machine with complimentary tea and coffee for you to enjoy.
Other essential amenities in the bedroom and bathroom.
The hotel also offers facilities and amenities for guests, including a breakfast room serving an unlimited a la carte buffet, a swimming pool, a fitness room, The 5th Wall cocktail bar specializing in Thai liquor drinks, and bicycles for exploring the nearby area.
Although the hotel is tucked away in an alley, it's very convenient to get around, just 4-5 minutes from the old city and close to many attractions and restaurants, including Klong Mae Kha, Tha Phae Gate, Night Bazaar, Wua Lai Road, and the famous Rasik restaurant.
